first of all, don't forget to grab your free "i'm addicted to wings" bumper sticker at Uncle Tim's General Store. the wings were crispy and delish, a bit heavy on salt... but i like salt so was okay. our server had a change holster, neat. she offered me a to-go cup for my final soda refill, awesome. there was scope in the ladies room, win. lost star: the honey mustard was not the best i've ever had... the seeds threw me off... i got the sweet potato app and it was strange to eat that with the honey mustard... took it home, then threw it out...

If you're looking for a great hole-in-the-wall with down-home, country-style, Amerian food, this is the spot! I've been here half a dozen times, and the service is always spot-on. I've yet to see the bottom of my drink glass, but the waitresses don't "hover" and drive you crazy, you know? I'm a soup and salad fan for lunch, and this place does not disappoint. Beer cheese soup is so good, you'll want a straw for it, but it's thick and rich, so stick with a spoon. Mushroom soup was creamy and thick with tons of shrooms. My fav salad is the mozzarella/tomato/basil salad, which arrived with thick slices of dark red, juicy, fresh tomatoes (not the plastic kind), layered with large basil leaves atop a nice spring mix. Fresh mozzarella balls (6-7 quarter-sized) dotted the edges of the salad, and a yummy balsamic vinagrette was drizzled over all. Soooo good! I've also tried the burger--cooked just the way I like it--the hot turkey sandwich (thick slices of real turkey breast--not the shaved stuff--atop thick-sliced bread, covered with turkey gravy, with a side of so-so mashed potatoes), and the nachos, which arrived on a HUGE, built-for-three platter. Fried green tomatoes are fabulous here and are served with a nice aioli sauce for dipping. The cheese grits--oh, my--served in a large dish, bubbling fresh from the oven where three different cheeses are allowed to melt on top. Yummy! I also tried something a little strange, which turned out to be amazingly good: buffalo crinkle fries. Yep! I said it! Traditional crinkle French fries were topped with lots of melted bleu cheese, then drizzled with hot-garlic ketchup (think of thick hot sauce), and they were out-of-this-world good! A cold beer is in order with this treat. About the atmosphere . . . the life-sized plastic Santa wearing a hula skirt that greets you at the front door should be your first clue that this place is full of kitschy stuff. But it's so much fun! A chandelier with old-fashioned Christmas bubble lights hangs over one table, and a couple of other tables are "graced" with the famous leg-lamp from A Christmas Story (It's a major award)! But it isn't a Christmas-themed restaurant, no. Far from it. There's a little bit of everything to catch your eyes, from license-plates on the wall, to clowns perched near the ceiling, to old road signs, to ancient gas-station pumps, to a working train, to toys you played with as a child. Oh, and trivia cards on the table to pass the time as you wait. Yeah, definintely not a bad place to grab lunch or dinner and pass the afternoon away. They have inside and outside seating, a full bar with seating, and are definitely kid-friendly, with froggy high-chairs the little ones seem to love. Take-out, delivery, and breakfast are also available.

I grew up in Port Orange and I recall eating a lot of take out dinners from Booth's -of the wings and fries variety - when I was younger. I since grew up, moved away, moved back and ate at Booth's again for the first time in many years. The waitress was friendly and prompt, and we enjoyed a glass or two of Blue Moon while we waited for our food. My boyfriend as well as my brother in law ordered the fish sandwich, which they both proclaimed to be best! ever! And the boyfriend, who has family from New England and has spent a portion of his life in Iceland, certainly knows a thing or two about a thing or two where fish sandwiches are concerned. My sister ordered the seared ahi tuna, which I personally thought was a strange choice (sort of a fancy dish to order at a place renowned for their chicken wings, but what do I know, anyway?) and she quite enjoyed it. For myself, I took the plunge and ordered a lobster roll. A little background: for a long time now I have been reading about lobster rolls on food blogs, and seeing them mentioned on foodie tv programs and I have wanted to try one from the very first time I learned of their existence. But I never order one because I know it will never live up to the lobster roll ideal I've built it up to be in my imagination -delicately seasoned and lightly dressed chunks of succulent lobster on a soft roll, buttered and toasted to perfection - and I will be bitterly disappointed, and nothing will ever be OK again. Ever. But I did order it, because I was going to have to have my heart broken sooner or later, wasn't I? And it was as I suspected. Nothing very special. Maybe there is not a lobster roll that exists anywhere in the world that could be as amazing as I imagine it is supposed to be, so maybe this run of the mill sandwich isn't Booth's fault. Maybe it is just a mythical ideal to which no one could ever hope to aspire. The basket curly fries we shared, however, were just a sad, sad business. Most of them were soggy and toward the bottom, some of them were uncooked, almost raw. For the most part though, it was a decent meal, which is really all you can ask from pub fare, which is what Booth's basically offers. And I will more than likely be back again and again. I'll just cross the lobster roll permanently off the list. A woman can only stand so much heart-break.

Went there on a night that was not busy and ordered wings. Waited almost an hour and never received our food so we left. Tables whose order was taken after us received their food after about 20 mins. Server didn't take the time to refill drinks or check on our food but did find the time sing Jimmy Buffet songs and socialize.

Don't answer phone= no more of my business. On 1-5-13 called at 7pm for a take out order and at 7:30 still had no pick up. Tried hanging up and calling right back but still no pick up. Have been ordering and going there for 20+ years. Called Hulligan's and got a phone pick up on first ring. My first call will be elsewhere in the future. So much for customer service.

The menu prices are reasonable. Be forewarned, fries and sides are not included with the burger. You will however receive one carrot stick. The best thing I had was the French onion soup by far. Although, I remember it being richer and cheesier in the past. The burger was of above average quality, and the homemade chocolate peanut butter pie was exceptional. Very rich, one serving was enough to split between three people. if I am in the area I will go back, however I will not make another long drive just to dine there.

Prices higher for what is around the local area / service ok/ stood at door to be seated for about 10 minutes- no one in sight/ food marginal. Not going there again.

This was my 1st visit, food was good as well as the service, loved the decor, just a real fun place. I will be returning again and again. We had a party of 10 and nobody had any complaints.

Not good. From being ignored walking in; to seating ourselves and then being ignored for 10 minutes; to waiting another 10 minutes asking for simple glasses of water and 2 beers; to being served dry overcooked burgers that were ordered medium-rare; to choking down cold french fries; to never seeing our waitperson again for refills or her checking on us; to sitting and eating our meal while roasting in a stifling-hot dining room; to having to wave-down someone, anyone to please come give us our check so we could leave; our time spent was not a good day for us nor for Booth's Bowery. Conceptually, a good place. Busy highway. Ample parking. Lots of seating. Casual atmosphere. Tv's throughout. Lots of choices on the menu. Really, a pretty great concept. But, unfortunately, these guys are not even close. There are plenty of casual-dining bars with food that deliver on this same concept that Booth's fails miserably at, and that's on them. Later.

Wish I could give this zero stars. The food was Terrible. Tried several different things, including the French onion soup, an appetizer, the wings, and sandwich. They are known for their wings, which were nothing special. Other food was terrible. Will not be going back and would not recommend.

What happened Booths? This used to be my favorite place to eat. Something has obviously gone wrong. Please go back to the way things were 15-20 years ago.

The service was terrible (not our waitress Maria, she was great, the place itself was horrible), food was not stellar whatsoever. Took us over 40 minutes to be seated, then another 15 minutes to even get drinks. Another 30 minutes to even get food.... Ordered kids hamburger and pb&J, a lemon chicken sandwich, split pea soup, clam chowder , mild, medium and hot wings and fries. Hamburger came burnt, the kid didn't care so we kept it. The pb&J was great (it's the best thing we got honestly) Lemon chicken sandwich and split pea soup was fine. Nothing good or bad to say. Clam chowder was ok, better than canned, not as good as I've had. Wings. Oh wow. Terrible. The mild came out over done and plain, NO SAUCE. Seriously??!! The medium was mild tasting, but at least had some sauce on them, the hot were barely spicy, dry and over cooked. We always look forward to coming here when we visit, they USED to have phenomenal wings.... but unfortunately we will never come back after this experience. So sad.

Service is great!! I ordered the fresh wings as stated in menu!! They tasted frozen to me, very small. I got hot garlic sauce, hot sauce was mild. Got one carrot stick, and 2 piece of celery with wings really?!?!? Would have loved some fresh homemade blue cheese but had prepackaged blue cheese. Also ordered French onion soup as appetizer was good, but didn't get the wow factor as excited as the waitress made it seem. Peanut butter and chocolate pie amazing!! Prob will be first and last time here, restaurant need a remodel. It's kind of a dive. It's 2015 let get this place updated.

I'm only giving this a one start because I can't do zero. My family and I went here last night and the service was probably the worst I've ever had. It took 20 mins to get a refill on a drink and over 40 mins for our food. Wings and subs, not that difficult. Mind you the table that came after us got their food 15 mins before us. Our waitress Tracy was horrible. We felt completely ignored as customers. We will not be going back. Just awful. The food was okay but not good enough to go back.

I got off work late one night (like 930) and tried going here to put in a pick up order. Buy this time, it was 9:42. I asked the lady at the front counter if I could put in an order and she told me no we close in 5 minutes, they closed at 10. I called the manager to tell him about how rude she was and he said he'd take care of it. I hope he did. I work in the food industry too, I know how it goes but to tell someone no and lie about closing I just thought was rude and unprofessional. However, anytime before this that I've been there has been good. The suicide wings are awesome.

My boyfriend and I used our Groupon for this place last night to try it out. The menu complimented the wings well, so we ordered 20 grilled wings and two orders of fries. Ten of the wings came out fine and the other ten came out burnt. Also, both orders of fries came out over cooked. My boyfriend was hesitant to say anything because we are not complainers. After the server walked by and noticed a lot of food still on the table, she asked if we needed a box. I told the server the ten wings were burnt and that we did not eat them; however, that the other ten wings were fine. We did not mention the fries. The server agreed they were burnt and told us she was going to get a manager for us. A manager never came to the table and we were charged for the burnt wings we did not eat. Needless to say, we have decided that we are not going back there since it was handled so well (insert laugh). I guess that is what Groupons are for, to figure out whether you like a place. *shrug*

Wings!! This place is in desperate need of an overhaul inside. OLD TVs and just not been updated even though sports bars are opening around them. Service was so-so on this visit. But one thing remains the same... the BEST chicken wings around! So if you want great chicken wings, stop in here. If you like very spicy tasty wings, try the suicide wings. If you're not in the mood for wings, then just pass on by.

Stopped by Booth's Bowery for breakfast today after an absence of many years and it was an enjoyable experience. Plenty of parking out front, was greeted by the owner Tim, who asked if I would like to read the paper and then showed me to my table. The waitress was friendly, quick, and kept my coffee cup filled. I ordered the Greek omelet and home fries with rye toast. After a short wait my ordered came out hot, it was packed with veggies, yummy feta, and it was very tasty. The price was inline with other eateries in the area.

What a fun place but check any hi expectations at the door. My brother Loves this place and we've been coming here for many, many years. I'll say they're really proud of those wings and leave it at that. Funny rules, funny pricing that doesn't add up - see if you can find it, and with this last visit, smarmy bartender playing favorites with regulars leaving me wanting. It's a nickle and dime thing on those wings... extra for everything. I hate that. When I buy a car, I don't want to pay extra for the tires... Not like it used to be.

This place is definitely a staple in Port Orange. I always get some version of their blackened chicken and whether it be the quesadilla, sandwich, or fajita sub it is always delicious. They also offer some great sides and appetizers such as their chili, waffle fries, and spinach dip. My only complaint would be that it is a little expensive for what it is and the interior could use a bit of cleaning and sprucing up.

I've been coming to Booth's Bowery on and off since they opened in 1984. Back in the day, we use to come in for the chicken wings. But I moved away and only get to come back once or twice a year and it's usually for breakfast with my parents. We love the food and the fast friendly service! Love the Belgian Waffles, Greek Omelets, and the Biscuits & Gravy. Love the kitschy atmosphere too!

Stopped in for a quick lunch and to give the wings a try! The service was mediocre to poor considering the place was not busy. I was there for almost two hours. Took 30 minutes to get my food, had to ask again for the beer that I ordered. Not a good first impression.

So first off our server was short an kind of a bitch. My friend ordered a pitcher of Yengling and she didn't hear him and snapped- we only have in on draft! Well yes. We would like a pitcher of it thanks. Rude. The other reviewers were right- the food does takes forever! But I think it's just people not knowing how to slow down and enjoy each step of the meal process. We had the potato skins as an appetizer and enjoyed a beer then our steak & cheese sub and meatball sub came out. They were pretty good. Our server finally lightened up and was nice. 3 meals and 2 beers later came a check of $55. Our server started to loosen up and show she has a heart towards the end of the meal.

I have since been back a couple times since writing my last review and I have to say that Booth's Bowery appears to have it's mojo back. The food each time has been absolutely delicious and just as I remember it to be in the 90's when my parents would bring me here nearly every weekend to watch football games. The service was fantastic again. Just an all around great all around experience. Booth's Bowery is a part of my childhood and I'm glad to see the experience is back where it belongs.

Went with a Groupon for lunch. We had comfort food: meatloaf and liver and onions. Delicious, huge servings, and nice wait staff. It is a funky, dated, dark place...not for those on first dates. But we were touched by how the obvious regulars were welcomed at the bar and new folks were invited into conversations.

Nathan S.
Way too much going on. The food was bland. Advertisements and tv's all over and the menu was like a small novel--but nothing we ordered was delicious--it was just "Meh"! Not a romantic atmosphere at all!

Ed G.
I like that their chili comes with cheese and onions. I could live without the beans but it's pretty good. The chicken wings are good, and I took the servers recommendation to get them crispy. I like really hot food but this time I got the medium garlic ones which were tasty. Service was prompt and friendly.
I like supporting locally owned places, but I just don't go to this one. I've been there many times over the years, and it's never such a great experience that I want to come back. I usually end up going because someone else wants to go (you know how you get dragged to places but not your first choice?). The service is painfully slow. Also, this is just a personal preference, I don't really dig a bunch of weird memorabilia things as decor so I don't enjoy the atmosphere. Again, just a personal preference. Expensive for mediocre food would be the easiest way to sum it up. I've tried several different things and nothing stands out as "wow, I really wanna eat here again!". The wings. OK, I know this is their big money-maker, but they taste like old grease to me. I do like the hot garlic buffalo sauce, but the wing under it, not so much. Wish I could say I like it, but not my cup of tea. Even take-outs are quite a big hassle here. I've had other people say to me they hate trying to get take outs there, so maybe they don't like it when people order take-outs? I don't know. But just dodge the bullet and don't get one.

I called multiple times tonight to place an order for wings. There was never an answer although the phone was ringing on my end. I figured the phone must not be working. We placed an order elsewhere but trying to be helpful, we swung by the general store tonight around 7:00pm and informed the girl at the register that we had tried calling and there was no answer. Her reply was that there had been phone problems last week but there was now a dial tone. I asked if they had received any phone orders in the past hour or so and she said no. I tried telling her that was due to the fact that the phone wasn't working. Her reply again was that there was a dial tone. As we were leaving the parking lot I again tried calling and there was no answer. No telling how much business you might have lost tonight simply because your employee did not care enough to pay attention to someone who was trying to help. P.S. - your phone is not working!

Growing up around the corner, this was the best place to go before all the other restaurants in port orange opened up. It was always in my memory as one of the best places in Port Orange to eat, but my memories were from a much younger childhood. I went back after not being there for 10 years, and the food was not the same as I remembered. ***The best way to describe the wings is unique. They are meaty, and if you're looking for spicy they can make them really hot. I've had a lot of varieties of wings... These may not be the most flavorful or have the most variety, but I have not had wings like these anywhere else in the world. **Atmosphere: Hasn't changed. A homey southern style feel, but dark. If you're looking for takeout, they connected the store to the old convenience store on herbert street side. A little weird if you ask me, but this place isn't about to clean up and change from the port orange of old.

not very happy with the food I ordered last night. I had a taco salad that, for some reason they put it in a taco bowl and loaded it up with nacho chips inside. Well it was so soggy! The fries that my girlfriend got were soggy as well as the over cooked onion rings. We will not be eating there again.

Booth has the best hot wings. The suicide wings are simply the best. I make a point to eat here every time that I am in town visiting. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The atmosphere is simply true American, the kids enjoy the decor of memorabilia on the walls. Also try the chilli, hamburger, fried mushrooms and the waffle fries. This place will not win any cooking contest, but for the value and quality it gets a solid 5.

First off, once again I'll mention, that I am from Buffalo ( Home of the wings) I was recently in Daytona, and was in the mood for some wings. Booths Bowery was recommended. My first impression, was the character of the place! Just what I wanted. Not a chain, but not a dump. Booths has a unique interior and inviting exterior. I ordered a double order of Buffalo Wings and a bowl of Chili. I wanna mention right off the back, the wings lived up to my Buffalo expectations. They were big and meaty! The sauce was good and the chili was a nice compliment on the side Highly recommend if in the Daytona area!!

Great wings- love the medium garlic the best. I used to live there and go all the time, now i make a point of going whenever i'm in Florida. By far, the best chicken wings I've ever tasted. Even after moving to SoCal over a decade ago, my bf and I still talk about their suicide chicken wings. Booth's Bowery looks like your typical "hole-in-the-wall" kind of beach town place, but thats what gives this restaurant it's character. The staff I remember was always friendly, with their down-home southern hospitality. Order up a round of ice, cold beer on a warm summer day and basket of them wings and yer good to go! Highly recommended!

So sad.

Good breakfast, bad service! Tried to give them the benefit of a doubt.. This was my second time there.. Bad service both times! I think the owner needs to reavaluate his staff!

(4)James S.

(5)Keven J.
The wings are consistently AWESOME! 'Hot and wet' and 'teriyaki' never disappoint!
(4)Rene E.
The food is OK, the environment is OK, the prices are a bit high. Nothing special, just OK.
(2)Dave F.
One of the best places around for breakfast. I've not eaten lunch here before but I've always a great breakfast experience.
(4)Jane S.
(3)Nathan S.
Way too much going on. The food was bland. Advertisements and tv's all over and the menu was like a small novel--but nothing we ordered was delicious--it was just "Meh"! Not a romantic atmosphere at all!
(1)Ed G.
I like that their chili comes with cheese and onions. I could live without the beans but it's pretty good. The chicken wings are good, and I took the servers recommendation to get them crispy. I like really hot food but this time I got the medium garlic ones which were tasty. Service was prompt and friendly.

We have eaten at this place many times, as my preferences are always towards locally owned and operated restaurants verses chain corporate controlled mass produced middle of the road food designed for people that believe what the advertising tells them, and don't really mind mediocre food. The food has always been good - it's not fine dining, but they don't advertise as such. The atmosphere is comfortable, and eclectic. If you want romance, don't go to a wing and burger joint - ante up twice what you'll pay here, at the very least. The wings are good - fresh, large wings, and they will serve them wet or dry, if you prefer. The burgers are from fresh meat, not frozen, and plenty big enough - several options to choose from, and one thing that I like is that they will cook to order. Items on the menu range from typical pub type fare to fried shrimp, seared tuna, meatloaf, shepherd's (cottage) pie, crab cakes beef stroganoff and liver and onions. Varied enough so that anyone can find something that they will like. The French onion soup and chili are both quite good. The appetizer menu is varied as wellWhat I like is the fact that they are serving up things that are made from scratch, and it shows. Prices are well in line for a place like this - anyone complaining that the prices are high should confine their choices to the cheapo-all-you-can-eat-buffet and be done with it. We were there tonight, and ordered wings, French onion soup, hamburger medium, and a taco salad. All came out as ordered. The burger was cooked a perfect medium, and tasted great. The wings were hot garlic, and they were good - the garlic was on point. Soup was as usual - good. The taco salad was a good taco salad - their home made chili makes it. Service was attentive, and the food arrived in good time. This place is not fast, and I appreciate that. That being said, we were winding down, and waiting for our server to come over so that we could place the dessert order. I was surprised when she came up, presented the check, and told us that she would take it when we were ready. As a former restaurant owner and someone that frequently eats out, I have two main pet peeves - first is when the entrée is served before the appetizers are finished, and the second is when the server assumes that you are done with your meal. As a diner, I do not like having the option to order dessert. As a restaurant owner, I don't like a staff member not taking the opportunity to raise the ticket price by upselling another course - it makes no sense. It's lost revenue for the business, and a lower ticket means a lower tip. It's just being lazy, careless, or a combination of the two. I don't get it. I typically will not order a dessert if the server does that, and I did not order tonight. It cost Booth's an additional $13.00 tonight. That's just one check. Multiply that by however many other times that happens, and it adds up quick. We will be back, enjoy the place, and hope that someone sees this and acts on it - no one can afford lost revenue, especially when it's easily prevented. The sad thing is, the desserts here are great - when you are offered the chance to order them.

We went for a late breakfast. Food was great, but the service could have been better. Had to wait a long time for service and always had to wait for fill-ups of our drinks.
(3)Rebecca A.
not very happy with the food I ordered last night. I had a taco salad that, for some reason they put it in a taco bowl and loaded it up with nacho chips inside. Well it was so soggy! The fries that my girlfriend got were soggy as well as the over cooked onion rings. We will not be eating there again.
(2)Angel P.

Had a fabulous time here! The food was very tasty] indeed! No complaints about the service either, right on time! Loved it!

Good Wings

Great wings- love the medium garlic the best. I used to live there and go all the time, now i make a point of going whenever i'm in Florida. Also the best honey-mustard dressing on the planet!!!! nice and cozy atmosphere-dark and they have trivia pursuit cards on the table to keep you occupied-go hungry
(5)Noreen F.
