We came here for brunch on Sunday, as we were about to leave Jacksonville and wanted to spend a little time at the beach. This place is for hotel guests or members only and it was about 3 minutes away from The Sawgrass Marriot where we stayed. The food offering was just ok, the brunch menu was not very inventive it was a little pricey for a so-so brunch. I got the California omelet - which was filled with cheese and veggies and avocado. The avocado was not ripe- it was hard. Me no likey. The potatoes it came with were great though- sauteed with onions and peppers- yummy. BF seemed to like his food, he got chicken salad sliders on croissant rolls. He cleaned the plate...but that's not shocking. I wouldn't come back here for the food, but the view of the beach is fantastic. The sounds of the ocean and the salty breeze almost made the food pretty good.....almost.

We moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 2012 and have thoroughly enjoyed the Cabana Club. It makes going to the beach a resort-like experience. Our kids love the pool, ping pong and getting snacks at Sharky's. We have had friends stay a the Marriott and they can conveniently ride the shuttle to meet us for lunch or drinks. The food is good and my husband appreciates the vegetarian options.

I've always attend as a guest of a member. I've seen 2 beautiful weddings followed by beachside dinners and a few late night chill seasons after the chill come in the air. Drinks - Mango Margarita - really anything/everything. I'm never had an issue with drinks and never heard any complaints. Food - Lobster salad is in consist. First time was wonderful. The second it was dry and felt...? It left a lot to be desired. Looked better than it tasted. Items that are grilled seem to be lacking in flavor or overcooked. Just have something fried - conch fritters - and I think fried clams were awesome. Strawberry short cake was also dry. On a beautiful beach day it won't be out of place to see a few people kicking back, feet propped up with large cigars. The missing star is partly for food and service. Once a notorious Jumanjii like rain storm came through while a couple of friends were prepping to leave. A man (I should have gotten his name) takes one of the huge umbrellas and carries it out the gate, across the street, and walks us safely to our car. How awesome is that? While that was well above great service. On every visit I consistently see (as another Yelper has stated) long lines and staff that appear to be doing nothing. You can only get so mad when you have a day off, chilling at the beach and a drink in your system. But it's a little off putting to see one or two people working like crazy and the same amount doing nothing. Not sure if they were on breaks or changings shifts? But it might be best for them to change or cover the uniform because on the outside we can't tell. Sunny day with fruity drinks, smiling children, late night Yoga, friendly dogs, and decent service. I'm definitely a fan.

Naw. Over-priced crap food. Buddy recommended the fish tacos as they were "ridiculous" last time. He and I both ordered - terrible...off flavor...hope I don't get the trots. The bartender was way preoccupied and actively complaining about her boss while we were there. The view is spectacular, the food is shit. Seriously. Pack a lunch and some brews.

My husband and I came here for our vacation. The Marriott has access to the beach club, so we thought we would see what amenities the club offered. The pool is okay - nothing special. Ample seating, but one of the employees said it was very slow. We went to the beach and rented from a friendly employee. We rented two lounges and umbrella - $47. The price was a bit steep but I don't expect anything less from a beach club. We went back and forth from beach to pool, which is a very short distance. We then ate at the club restaurant. Food was not very good. I ordered a Chicken Cesar. Salad was old and just about to go bad. I asked for extra dressing which came in a Newmans dressing packet... Odd. My husband did enjoy his super salad, which had kale and different fruits and veggies. Overall, I'd rather stay at the pool at the resort. Better food, and better atmosphere.

Menu is very average. We have been members for several years, and this summer's menu in the Sea Porch and Sharky's is without creativity and is obviously driven by the bottom line. There is a lot of staff standing around doing nothing, yet lines and wait time for food are long., all for the automatic 18% gratuity. Marriott, are you listening?

I am not a member here but a member invited me to join her tonight for drinks and live music. We were advised that it was a little chilly to sit outside so we stayed in the lounge area where the music was and enjoyed happy hour! I had my usual Bud Light and she enjoyed the house Cabernet. I didn't think the two bartender girls were very friendly but you can't have everything. But you can't beat being by the ocean and listening to good music with a good friend! The club, which is owned by Marriott, does allow us peons (nonmembers) to visit a few nights a week starting at 5:30 PM. I'll have to find out more specifics on that for you and for me! I do know that the nonmembers can only go upstairs in that area, whereas members have a downstairs lounge plus the pool which is very nice. It's a very family oriented place but singles don't feel out of place either which is nice.

We've been members for the last 17 years and the club keeps getting better and better. When we first joined our children were little and we wanted a family friendly club that was not pretentious, well we got the in the Cabana Club! Initially it was owned by Arvida and the members, but over the years Arvida sold to the Marriott as it's now the Marriott's beach for their guests. However, the membership has been maintained and they even have a wait list. With all the changes over the years the Club has maintained that family atmosphere. It gets busy during key holidays, but otherwise we "Locals" rule. Today I was inspired to write this review as I'm sitting on the beach enjoying this glorious Florida weather and feeling thankful for my beautiful surroundings.

My sister and Brother-in-Law ate members here and the food and service are really great. The Mahi Mahi was awesome! Yeungling on draft..really Luke this place!

A perk of staying at Sawgrass Marriott, this place is a gem. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating and the location is wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed renting an umbrella and a chaise on the beach, and the food in the bar is pretty darn impressive for a pool! Parking is convenient, and access is limited to members or guests of the hotel only.

It's a casual, laid back, coming from the beach kind of scene. I enjoyed a top shelf margarita and shrimp quesadillas while listening to the crashing waves. Don't get me wrong on the atmosphere, there was a business deal going down at the next table and the ladies who lunch were just leaving when I arrived. But it's still easy to enjoy a solitary meal and beverage, with attentive service, I'll be back... And probably tomorrow with business associates!

Sat outside at the Sea Porch for a light dinner. The patio furniture was a little flimsily and their were a bunch of children running around so wasn't most relaxing experience. Shared a plate of nachos for appetizer (chips were a little hard) and had some blackened fish for entre. The latter was very good, but not worthy of 4 stars given the other factors.
