Good food. Good service. We go often!

Have been dying to try this place because of the reviews. It is very convenient to the house and I love me some sushi. We have dined in and done takeout. Both were great. The restaurant is smaller than I thought inside. I love that they close between lunch and dinner. For some reason I feel like the food is fresher. We were seated immediately and greeted by a nice woman. Our waters were always filled. I had some hot green tea that was delicious. They have a decent beer selection. Miso soup and ginger salad were both great to start with. Miso was very hot and filled with tofu! The salad had lots of dressing! I had to Chirashi bowl! All the fish was very fresh and it had plenty of it! lots of rice too. Loved this. But the price was a little high. Mom had the garlic beef. The steak was so tender and came with fresh rice and some veggies. I have also had sushi roll. Even in takeout the fish was fresh and it was very filling. Again the price was a little high. I can't wait to go back to try the curries! Im not a huge fan of traditional thai dishes because I don't like peanut flavors. The service is great. Restaurant is clean. Food is delicious. Prices are just a little high, especially for this area. But I will be back!

Thai Thai is by far the best Thai restaurant in Broward. Located in the unassuming strip mall and from the outside it does not look like much, probably would not have even tried it if not for Yelp and all my friends that have reviewed it. I really enjoy Thai food if it is done properly. Sari who use to own the famous "Little Lotus" in Miami spoiled us with such great Thai food. Until we came to this restaurant I thought I would never enjoy Thai again. The inside is so nicely decorated and clean. Our server was wonderful and very helpful with the full menu. They have a big selection of so many dishes. I started with a beer that was refreshing and light. My daughter ordered a dish called "Chirashi, huge platter came out beautifully decorated with around ten different selections of fish. See the picture I took. Not only beautiful everything was fresh and delicious. I had read the description for the Thai Thai Steak and so glad I ordered it. The steak was perfectly cooked to a medium rare, thin with awesome flavor. Literally the steak melted in my mouth. Very good cut of meat and I was very happy with my dish. Excellent restaurant in the neighborhood. Very good service and reasonable prices. I look forward to trying other dishes here. Take some friends, you can't go wrong here. Only thing that could make it better would be to offer a decent wine selection. I have such a hard time not having wine with such a fabulous meal.

I tried Thai Thai for lunch and was really looking forward to it due to all the rave reviews. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, it only has indoor seating and it is well decorated with a classy feel to it. Service was very attentive and friendly, as soon as we sat down a lady brought us a bowl of chicken macaroni soup, apparently all lunch specials are served with it. The soup was delicate, a bit bland, it was ok but nothing special. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice with brown rice, it was a small lunch portion, it was good, I would definitely order it again, but again it didn't blow me away either. For desert we ordered the Thai Doughnuts and they were delicious! Served with the customary side of condensed sweet milk, the doughnuts were soft and fresh, made to perfection, absolutely the highlight of our meal. Ambiance 4 stars Food 3.5 stars Service 4 stars

I can't get enough of this place. By far the best Thai and even sushi. We have yet to find a sushi restaurant that compares to the value and quality at Thai Thai. Pad Thai is awesome and the wonton soup is so fresh, I love the cabbage chunks and flavor. Peanut dressing also fresh for salads! Never a bad meal here.

When Thai Thai initially opened it served Thai food only; it replaced an indonesian restaruarant called Garuda, where I frequently enjoyed workday lunches. A few years back, Thai Thai added a sushi bar. The food has been consistent through the years; the dishes are well-made. We ask for the tray of dry and wet chili to be brought to our table so I can breathe fire while Mom can tuck into a mild dish. Hubby prefers to add some chili sauce and I use the dried chili peppers. We usually get Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp to split as an appetizer - we rarely finish it all but it provides each of us with at least one large shrimp and planks of chicken breast. The sauce is rich and coats the medium width noodles, scrambled eggs, and peanuts We often get a few sushi rolls - our favs are the Red Dragon roll, a tuna topped shrimp tempura roll (Mom loves tempura) and Rainbow roll with tuna replacing the fake crab on the inside - this way everyone gets what they like! They make a very tender and tasty steak. Their menu offers a choice of proteins with different sauces (cashew, curry, sweet and sour, ginger, etc.) and often they walk around the restaurant with a large, ornate, aluminum rice container to dole out jasmine rice. The servers are usually very attentive and quick to take note of our need for more beverages, etc. So not only are the dishes beautiful - and often graced with a purple orchid - they are well presented. The owner is an avid orchid grower - years ago she'd display huge orchid plants adorned with hundreds of orchids in the lobby - seriously. Even today you'll find fresh orchids on each table and silk ones hanging on the wood paneled walls. At night the female servers are dressed in traditional Thai garb - they are beautiful and exotic and during the day they are in black pants and tops. Today they were generous in their attention and birthday gift of free Thai donuts for Mom. They were hot and crispy and coated in warm glaze. The black and white sesame seed garnish was a nice touch. This restaurant considers all our senses - from the food, to the decor, to their attire, they seem to have us in mind!

Anything you order here is delicious! The best Thai in broward! Great service and not overcrowded.
(5)Nelsy R.
We've been going here for years now, never disappointed. Great food, nice casual atmosphere and good service. This is a gem and look forward to my ongoing patronage of this restaurant. My all time favorite is the masama curry. They offer the option of white or brown rice for a healthier twist. Also, love their Thai iced tea and fried doughnuts. I've tried so many items on their menu, always delicious.
(5)Susie J. S.
Great selection of thai and sushi very fresh in a comfortable atmosphere as well as quick take out.

It has one of the best "Jok Soup" around Broward County ~ This delicacy is the Thai version of congee also known as rice known as .... Jok , pronounced " joke" ~ It is delicious, warm soup for the heart and soul ~ With the addition of garlic, ginger, fish sauce, and a protein of your choice (pork, chicken, fish) you are on the fast-track to feeling better than ever. (I love it with chicken) ~ This is also a miracle cure for upset tummies and nasty hangovers! (folklore) I think pretty much every asian country has a version of this (the Chinese call in congee), but for me I've never had anything better than a piping hot bowl from a street cart in Bangkok. Also, I had the Panang Curry with Chicken that was cooked to perfection, a silky curry sauce and an abundance of coconut, lime leaf and ginger flavors that was asking to be soaked up till its last drop. The "Crazy Roll" was "above average" and would order it again and the Spicy Tuna was average. Service was excellent and prices are very reasonable ~ Cheers!
(4)Fiel C.
We had the curry puffs, red curry with chicken and "hot" Panang curry with chicken. For dessert we had the fried bananas with ice cream. We arrived at 8 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was full. This was our first visit to this restaurant. On our next visit we will try the crispy duck and I will order the "Thai hot" Panang curry. The restaurant was cold so it was fortunate that we had brought our jackets. The servers were attentive at first but it took some time for us to get our check. Update: The Red curry was great.

I initially came to get Landlubbers which is located on the same plaza and noticed the yelp reviews on that restaurant has been pretty bad lately. So, I made the rash decision to come to Thai Thai. Upon entering, there's a pungent smell - a mixture of curry, basil and some unidentified odor. It's an Asian restaurant so I guess that's expected. It didn't bother me as much but I'm sure it's something others notice too as they walk in. Anyways, I was greeted by a lady who was wearing a traditional Thai outfit. She was neither nice not rude. I basically let her know I was coming in to get take out. She didn't care to ask if I had any questions. I ended up ordering the Chicken Basil and a roll (crunchy JB roll). The basil chicken was decent. Exactly as I expected. The chicken wasn't rubbery and the flavors were on point, not too salty. I wanted to get something safe and who can mess up a chicken basil, right? The JB tempura had way too much rice. It was almost 50:50 ratio to the salmon. I only ate a portion of it spit out the rest. The only thing that bothered me was that they give you soy sauce in packets/sachets. Really?

Excellent food and excellent service! The best Thai place in Plantation. Perfect for a night out with the family or a quiet night out with a loved one.
(5)Blake C.
This place was absolutely delicious! Got the red dragon roll and the rainbow roll. If I had to do it again I would have done two red dragon rolls. It was great! The service wasn't bad but the girl wasn't quite as attentive as I expected. Overall it was a good experience though. Will be back for sure.
(4)Rick M.
It's not easy finding good Asian food in South Florida. But Thai Thai in Plantation hits the mark! The sushi is fresh and the Thai dishes are authentic and spicy. We had Crunchy Spicy Tuna Rolls, Dragon Rolls and a few Thai curry dishes. I had Red Curry with Chicken which was fragrant and perfectly seasoned with the right amount of white chicken meat and veggies. The curry was thick and not watered down like some places serve. You can't go wrong with the Basil Fried Rice - nice and spicy! Get on over there when you are in the Broward part of Ft. Lauderdale!
(5)Ryan E.
Thai Thai is my go-to place for lunch. Priced very reasonable, quick, comfortable, and the food is delicious. The service is always prompt and polite. I can get in and out for lunch at my own pace - meaning, it's comfortable to relax and talk if you have some extra time, but fast enough that you can also get in and out quickly if needed. The restaurant is well appointed, very clean. Nice tables and chairs, too. The Sushi is well made if that's your thing, I usually get a roll as an appetizer. The Thai food is made properly, well seasoned, and great portions. Overall, this restaurant deserves every bit of 5 stars. Super comfortable, quiet, great food, great service, and fair prices.
(5)Jorge B.
Love this place. Chicken penang curry, the volcano, and dragon rolls are my all-time favorites. Good service, good food, good prices. perfect!
(5)Anu P.
One of the best thai restaurants in the area. The food is always consistent like the service. I have been here several times and will continue to eat here. Anu
(4)Monica C.
Great local Thai place. I usually get the chicken pad Thai and I have tried some of the sushi which I also liked. I ordered for delivery today and it was ready within 15 minutes as they said. The times I have gone there to eat the service has been good too.
(5)Ali H.
The food is horrible , I went alone on my birthday , the pad see ewe was way salty n taste like putting too much of alcohol , the ice tea taste like sugar n water , I never had to eat my noodle with rice , n in here , I do !! What a horrible experience
(1)Michael M.
Well done. Presentation and flavors were excellent. Had Pud Thai , Shrimp Fried Rice , Duck. Service was friendly. Restaurant clean and elegant
(4)Shannon S.
Ok so when I got here I was a little concerned. The decor is out dated and the place is on the small side. It was a Friday night and there were only 4 table full. The costumes the staff wore are kind of laughable. Their cute, but I mean really? Are they necessary? Anyway, the food was amazing!!!!! Seriously! I was gladly surprised! So, if your looking for really good Thai food and none of the bells and whistles in the restaurant, come here!
(4)Joshua Z.
My Fiancee and I go here all the time. Great portions, taste, and service.
(5)Mandy C.
I really love Thai food and I'm gonna say this Thai place is srsly one of the best!!!!! Awesome atmosphere and totally in love with their volcano chicken. Love the way they serve their appetizers and lets not forget about their unique dessert selections. It's definitely my all time fav Thai restaurant in South Florida.
(5)Cierra M.
Lying ass Yelpers..I was deceived once again by the high star rating. For starters, I was served chicken and macaroni soup? Granted it didn't taste bad, but it's not Thai. Second red flag was the amount of elderly people dining, which indicates the restaurant has to cater to shy taste pallets. I ordered Samosa or what I thought was steamed vegetables, rice, and chicken in a sweet chilli sauce. My steamed vegetables were lettuce, three carrot shavings, and one piece of zucchini. The chilli paste...far from chilli tasting, I thought it was ketchup. Third, my food came out before the rest of the order was completed and it just sat there on the counter getting cold. I was baffled as to why the bowl shaped lump of rice was on the same plate as the entree soaking up the red chilli sauce and ultimately becoming soggy like baby food. Typically the rice is served in a separate bowl I would think for that very reason...the sushi ordered by my compadre was no better to say the least.
(1)Jose R.
We ordered several items including Famous Pud Thai, Masaman and Red Curry and Lo mein for take out. We were all disappointed because there was not enough concentration of flavor in their sauces. Almost tasted as if they had been watered down.

Thai Thai was recommended by a couple we met at another restaurant a few months ago. In the neighborhood, we decided to give it a try. Thai Thai has a dated "feel" to it - I sensed a 1980's flashback coming on any second. Hostesses wore floor length Thai style costumes - pastel, pleated, shiny and no doubt flammable. The decor is clearly original (over 20 years) - but you should look beyond that. They have a large menu with all the Sushi and Thai standby dishes you want to see. Joke soup is wonderful. Hot, steamy, soothing, aromatic. This simple chicken and rice soup cooked tip the rice falls apart into a porridge consistency is a MUST! The sushi chef made us 2 very nice rolls. Well assembled (did not fall apart), and generously filled with fresh fish. We also ordered a curry - our waiter recommended the Panang curry - and I am so glad he did... it was excellent. Mostly chicken with a few vegetables in a heavenly coconut peanut curry. I ordered medium spicy - this tasted pretty mild, which my boyfriend liked, I added some spice from the carousel of chili they brought me. Prices are right, portions are good. Service was a bit slow, but it was Saturday night, and very busy, so I don't mind. Looking forward to more CURRY!
(4)Christina A.
Best thai place ever. The drunken noodles, crispy duck and tom kai soup so phenomenal. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Best thai place in broward
(5)Barb B.
I'll start by saying I've never been too fond of thai food but this restaurant helped change my mind. I LOVE this restaurant! You can go on a Friday night or a Tuesday night and you'll see it's always busy! If you have to wait trust me it's worth it. They serve very fresh and beautifully displayed sushi plates as well as thai food. I've enjoyed the curry dishes, sushi, chicken satay, pad thai, thai donuts, it's always perfectly prepared and served by a very attentive staff. Mmm...getting hungry just thinking about it.
(5)Tiffany H.
Food is definitely good, I have been multiple times. The hand rolls are especially good. If you order takeout and wait there, it does take a long time so it's best to call ahead with your order.
(4)stacy w.
NOTE: we are food snobs so please read keeping this in mind. Really?!?!?!?!?? Wow!!! These reviews are cray cray. The food was not that great! And trust me I had REAL THAI FOOD FROM THAILAND. We went and ordered takeout since it was past our little one bedtime and didn't feel like dealing with a fussy baby. My hubby order the ginger paste chicken and I ordered the pad sewee (sorry I'm spelling this wrong) and we wanted it SPICY. Trust me we love our spicy food and most restaurants always seem to tone it down when it comes to spice. First on looks: the food looked like it was crying for help...it was the color of a boring brown. No colorful veggies...nothing just green peppers and chicken and the ginger paste. My dish...same thing just blah looking. But we figured let's not judge by its looks......... Remember we asked for it spicy....ummm...where is the spice....better yet....where is the flavor?!?! If we have eaten there I would've returned the dish. But we were already home. I gave it 3 stars cause I will try it again only because maybe the wait staff messed our order up or maybe the cooks weren't paying attention. So Thai Thai I'm gonna give you a second chance...don't mess up
(3)Jeff D.
we have been going to and ordering from here for at least 10 years. it has always been very good...we have never had anything even mediocre. Thai food is really good & consistent & the sushi has always been beautiful & tasty.
(4)Lucy K.
One if the best Thai restaurants in the area. When I have true Thai foodies ask for a restaurant recommendation, I always send them here. The pad Thai is creamy (in a pad Thai kind of way) and steaming hot. Even their sushi is uber fresh and delicious. I've heard their curries are incredible, not too sweet, which is the hallmark of a quality Thai place. They have an extensive menu that leaves everyone happy. I will definitely be back to try more.
(4)Carol C.
I love this place and so do my group of girlfriends. The dragon roll and pad Thai are my favorite. My friends have ordered other dishes and were very pleased as well. The ambiance is dark and quiet which would make me nervous to bring kids. I did see kids there though. Definitely my go-to place for Thai in the area.
(5)Sara M.
Thai Thai Restaurant... because simply calling it Thai Restaurant would be ridiculous. The food here is good, probably one of my favorite Thai places in the area. I'm going to go ahead and call the food authentic, even though we all know that it's really not, but what I mean is that not every dish tastes like a variation of pad thai... even though that's probably what most people order because. America. However, if you decide to venture away from predicatable pad thai, they have some really good dishes on the menu and even a sushi chef on hand if that's what you're feeling. The lunch menu comes with tom ka gai soup which looks like a watered-down bowl of tapioca, or a bowl of jizz, depending on how your dirty your mind works, but it's delicious. Prices are around 9 bucks for lunch, so, for what I consider a pretty large portion, + soup, it's about right. And bonus points for having some kind of ambiance and for being clean, and especially for never finding any kind of insect in my food which is not something I can say about my local Chinese restaurants (not being racist just stating facts). Service is fast and there is always someone continuousy refilling your water which is appreciated. Thai Thai is a-go a-go.
(4)C A.
Great ambiance & service. Food is incredible too! Glad we found our Thai spot by Davie
(5)Lydie R.
This is one of my favorite Thai food restaurants. I eat there regularly. They serve quickly. Seating and ambience is great. The peanut sauce is better than the red sauce. The portions are very fulfilling.

Please read the whole review... My wife and I went to Thai Thai on Sunday for our first visit. I was impressed by the interior decor; it reminded me a lot of the Oak Room at the Plaza in NY. The tables were close, but there was still plenty of room to navigate between them. Although the restaurant was busy, we were seated almost as soon as we walked in the door. That is the only good thing I can say about Thai Thai.... I have been fortunate enough to have traveled all over the world for business, and I have eaten in some of the worlds finest restaurants and some of the worst places on the planet. Thai Thai's service is the worst I have ever experienced anywhere! I can't report on the quality or taste of the food, because I never received any. After we were seated, our server asked if we would like a beverage; I ordered two beers, one for my wife and one for myself; after about 10 minutes the server brought my beer, but she did not bring my wife's beer. I ordered a soup and my wife ordered a seafood salad, while we perused the menu. Thirty minutes later, my wife's salad was delivered to the table, and it was nothing like what was described on the menu. And no soup! I pointed out to the server, the difference between what was described on the menu and what she had brought to the table. Without a word, she picked up the salad plate and walked away. Still no soup... After waiting another thirty minutes, the server had disappeared. My wife had still not gotten her beer , and I still had not received my soup. I stopped another server and asked her if I could speak to the manager. Without a word she turned and walked away; ten minutes later, no manager. I walked to the front of the restaurant looking for someone I could speak to.... No one was working the front of the house. There were people waiting for tables and others waiting to pick up food they had ordered. Finally the manager showed up at our table. She apologized for the delay and told us that the sushi chef was new and slow. I told her that's fine, but we had not order sushi. It was well over an hour, since we had first been seated, and our server finally showed up with my wife's salad and my soup. I politely asked her to not put the food on the table, and that I would like to speak to the manager again. She dropped the plates on the table and walked away. At this point, I asked my wife if I was being unreasonable or rude. My wife, who can be quite critical at times, said "absolutely not." This is where the poor service hits an all time low. I asked the manager how much I owed for the two beers and she said I owed nothing. As we were getting up from the the table, our server turned to me and said " you're an asshole and get the hell out of here." As we were leaving, a gentleman at nearby table, asked me what issues I'd had. I told him just poor service and didn't elaborate. Our server walked up to me and said that if we didn't leave now, she would call the police.

Not even close to good thai food. I'm on a quest to find good thai food in south florida. I just moved down here and miss my favorite thai restaurant from home in NY. This is the first place I tried. The pad thai was bland so I had to add eel sauce, crushed peanuts and Chilli pepper to make I
(2)David S.
I need to go back. They had what looked like a great menu, but I ordered curried soft-shell crab here. Potentially, an amazing dish in a place that can do soft-shell crab. The curry sauce was great, though.
(3)Chris N.
I was really surprised to find such an authentic Thai restaurant in the area. I know there a lot of Thai options, and a lot of Thai/sushi options at that(ugh!). But this place seems to be run by actual Thai people. I went here with my wife's uncle and aunt, and the uncle is very particular and only likes yellow curry, which was not on the menu. But the hostess who seemed to be the owner, insisted that they could make it for him. We ordered about seven dishes for the seven of us in the party, and I thought every dish tasted good. My only gripe would be the Pad see ew was not as saucy as it should be, too dry. As for the yellow curry, they didn't make it correctly the first time. The hostess/owner Saw that the curry wasn't correct, they made it with peppers instead of potatoes, and had the kitchen make a brand-new one, even though we pretty much finished the first curry. The second attempt was right on. What's even better she gave it to us free of charge. We were here on a Friday night and the place was very busy. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table big enough for seven. But it was well worth the wait. My wife and I will definitely be back here again.
(4)Casey M.
My husband and I have been here in the past, but it has been a few years, so we thought it was time to give it another shot. At approximately 6:30 on a Friday night there was no wait, so it was nice to walk right in. We were sat right near the sushi bar, another bonus. However, the remainder of our dining experience was roller coasteresque. Even though the restaurant was not completely full we waited a significant amount of time before our waitress stopped by. Once she did she honestly seemed pretty overwhelmed. Also, she did not want to take more than just our drink order, which is a pet peeve of mine.. if I want to order everything at once, let me! Food was all good. I got the panang curry, which was pretty spot on. My husband's massaman tasted fine, but needed a little more spice, just a tad too sweet. My biggest gripe besides the service was the rice situation. They bring you rice from a pot that does not get set on your table. That's fine in concept, but sucks when no one is checking on you and you've run out of rice... Like I said, the food was pretty good, thus the three stars.. and it would have been four if the service was better! Probably won't go back to dine in for a few years again.
(3)Farah H.
This place is great! Come here all the time and have to say I never get disappointed. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in south Florida.
(5)Jessica E.
I'm eating my leftovers as I write this. The food is really, really good. I had the pad thai, california roll and mexican roll. I thought the service was fine and actually better than most places these days. It is on the smaller side and the wood paneling a little dated, but don't let that stop you. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.
(4)Marianna O.
Great Thai food. Amazing fried doughnuts.
(3)Melissa W.
Absolutely love this place. I try to go at least once a week, and am never let down. The food is consistently good and the staff are pleasant. It is small, and on a weekend night often there is a wait, but what else can you expect from a place that so many people love.
(5)Shiri F.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Authentic, delicious and moderately priced! So happy to have a place like this in plantation.
(5)Joseph A.
The thai portion of the menu is great. Ordered the panang curry, wife had the pad thai. Great flavor to both dishes. As for the sushi good at best, had better at other establishment. If you enjoy thai food give yourself a treat
(4)Joe N.
Excellent Thai and Sushi, always Fresh! Nice take out, just a little slow. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere for dining in.
(5)Rod U.
We really like this place. We go there very often and have the red curry chicken and the seafood basil thai fried rice. Service is always very good. Very nice atmosphere. Prices are comparable to other nice thai restaurants. Food presentation is very nice, and that includes their sushi dishes.
(4)Michael F.
Hands down best sushi in Plantation. If you like spicy tuna or volcano rolls, give this a whirl.
(5)V. A.
The best Thai food I've found in South Florida so far. Would be worth the drive from Miami if you're really craving authentic Thai food. It's run by a Thai family, and many of the servers are Thai as well. Even though it's in a strip mall, it has a very nice ambiance, very calming, clean, traditional Asian decor. I haven't tried all their dishes yet, but the pad thai and chicken satay are very good. Their peanut sauce has a lot of coconut milk flavor, it's perfect, unlike the other ones I've tried in the area that taste either inauthentic (like peanut butter) OR are actually an oily peanut salad dressing. We tried the fried calamari which was so good. It tasted so fresh, it was actually big chunks of squid (no rings or little tentacles) fried lightly with a slightly sweet dipping sauce. The steamed dumplings were also very good. Overall, there's a reason this place has so many favorable reviews.
(5)Stephen P.
One of the worst Thai restaurants I've ever been in the US. I've been eating Thai food for about 30 years. The massaman curry was the only acceptable dish. Pad Thai was made with ketchup instead of tamarind. It really tasted as if the cook hadn't eaten Thai food before.
(1)Sabrina C.
I've been a fan of Thai Thai for six years. I don't live in Ft. Lauderdale anymore, but I make a beeline for this place every. single. time. I'm back. The pad see hew with beef is incredible - and you get a choice of small or large noodles, so go large - super thick, super tasty. Massaman curry: FANTASTIC. Tried their sushi for the first time recently, and I was super impressed, fresh, presented well, large roll. I've eaten Thai food all over the world, and this is by far my favorite spot for Thai in the US. Go!
(5)Jennifer N.
Had dinner with a friend here last night. I loved the atmosphere..the place is dimly lit and quiet with a classy vibe. The women are all dressed in beautiful traditional looking dresses and the men dressed in the same fashion. Our service was great. We both ordered curry which was delicious, and price was right. What more could a girl ask for? Will definitely come back here when I am needing my Thai fix :)
(5)Lee Z.
Very good thai food, and excellent service on a consistent basis.
(4)Anna M.
This restaurant is excellent I recommended to everyone I love the food please check it out This restaurant is authentic Thai food I advise everyone to check this place out it is Fantastic.
(5)John L.
consistently very good. Service - food prep/presentation-selection. Massaman and red curries are both very good.
(4)Stephanie M.
Food was decently priced but nothing special. Three of us came during our lunch hour and when we asked the server to break up our tab he acted frustrated. Instead of splitting it by meal cost he charged each of us $9 even for a $7.95 meal and a water. I still tipped but the rest of the table was so frustrated they refused to. I doubt we will go back.
(3)Nana S.
I recommend this place. Every time I go there I never be disappointed. They always keep their standard good Thai food and good service as always!
(5)Sivaram V.
I find this to be one of the decent Thai restaurants around this place...the food tastes very good...the staff is very friendly...the service is prompt....their prices are reasonable...I have eaten here multiple times and I was never disappointed...
(4)Fatty D.
The food was ok. Nothing to be wowed, but ok.. Menu is rather limited for a Thai place. Soup was very good but expensive for the small cup size. A bit on the pricey side considering the quality and portions. Service was welcoming and as expected. Price for 2 including gratuity 60 bucks.

I have been coming here for years, and had a hard time endorsing the restaurant. In the past the food was watered down to the point the dishes looked like soup. However the past few times we have ate here the food has been great. The gravy is thick and the flavor explodes in your mouth. It reminds me of my favorite Thai restaurant Talay in The ATL

Ate dinner earlier this evening and have been their numerous times. Tonight, the food was good but the service was absolutely terrible. Our server, David clearly was in a bad mood, was very unfriendly, and did the bare minimum. He basically just brought food to the table and nothing more. He forgot to bring the Pad Thai we ordered yet it still showed up on the bill. He served the beef/chicken satay but neglected to tell us that the small burner that accompanies the satay is no longer served with it. We sat at the table waiting several minutes until we asked the busboy for them. He informed us that because guests previously burned themselves at the restaurant they no longer used them. Fine, but at least tell us. Besides, the satay came out only warm making us think the burners were coming. Once the main course came David never asked how it looked, tasted, or if we needed anything else. Just dropped it off and walked away. We were too upset at the end of the meal to order dessert so we asked for the check. Of course I had to ask to have the Pad Thai removed from the check. Think he apologized. Not a chance. After paying the check I spoke to the manager. Think she apologized. No, she just told me that he was stressed. I then thanked her for stressing out me and my family. Don't people go to a restaurant to have a good time, eat delicious food, and relieve stress? The manager just did not seem to care. Sadly, it is a shame as we have been there many times but are now so turned off. We will look for a Thai restaurant closer to home.

Absolutely the best Thai restaurant in Broward and maybe even Miami! The quality of fresh sushi is unmatchable! Frequent customer..

Authentic Thai...you feel like you stepped into another world as soon as you go in. The pad Thai was great.

We had the chicken satay and the Basil Fried Rice was excellent. Shrimp was a tad bit overcooked but I'll still live . They do need to spice up their Red Curry because it has become yellow curry and not red any more

The Mission: Find the best Thai food in Broward. The Location: Nestled away in a little strip mall in Plantation. This place has that quality of being busy but you can get a seat. It's on the corner of Pine Island Road and Sunrise. In the window are a number of glowing reviews from food reviews in the local media. They are unnecessary because food is good or it is not good. Here if it gets people inside to try it, then great because this is the best Thai food in Broward. Pros: Food and Service. Appetizers: Curry Puffs, Chicken Satay, and Thai Dumplings. Everyone at my dinner party loved them. Main course: Crispy duck is its big dish. But there are others. Red Snapper with Volcano Sauce is well cooked. Well seasoned and sounds like it will be too hot to enjoy (if there is such a thing) but it is not. Soft shell crab is usually not my thing but I tried it here and liked it. That's always a nice surprise. Pad Thai and Massaman Curry Chicken (hot, not thai hot- to order) were all very good. They sell sushi but when I'm going to a Thai place sushi is an afterthought. And I was spoiled by Takeyama's back in the day. So no opinion on the sushi. Dessert: Thai Donuts are decadent and awesome. Cons: Quaint to small. Sometimes you'll overhear things you'll wish you did not hear. Soups are good. Not great. Emerald Palace on SR 84 has better soups and is also quite good. But that's about it. Its a solid place. Verdict: Best Thai Food in Broward County. Well worth it.

Service is horrible now! Food is ok, but the service is just garbage.

We had dinner at Thai Thai on Valentines Day. The food here is absolutely fantastic. I Now see why this restaurant got so many rave reviews by the Sun Sentinel. The steam dumplings and mee grob were excellent appetizers. Main course-Panang curry, roast duck with the famous famous Pud Thai. Very intimate atmosphere. Service was 5 star. What made it extra special, was Nan - the manager who came over to our table and introduced herself. We definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Decent Thai in neighborhood. Recommended by locals. Went with group of six for lunch - all people enjoyed dishes. Nice level of heat and staff will accomodate. You can choose protein and sauce (e.g. basil, chilli, peanut etc). Service is very efficient and accommodating. Only giving three stars since I've had a lot better in LA and NYC.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant. I have eaten here many times and the food is always fresh and absolutely wonderful. I, personally, don't know how the dishes that include chicken, pork or beef taste because I only eat vegetables & fish, but the variety of choices I have is great. I've taken friends & family here and they always rave about their dinners, which include all varieties of meat. The service is prompt and courteous. I've had to wait sometimes to be seated on a Saturday night, but I don't mind because it's worth the wait. A friend of mine told me about Thai Thai about a year ago & I thank her for that!

I really love Thai food & I have to say, I really haven't had any bad Thai food any place I have tried. Maybe I am lucky, maybe its just that Thai food rules! IDK? We have ordered delivery from Thai Thai several times (through DeliciousDelivery.net ) and it has always been really good. We would order more from DD but they tack on extra fees - but that's a different review. So we decided to check out the actual restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The inside is really nice, warm & decorated with Asian decor. The food presentation was really nice, everything looked so good! I even took some pics & when I upload them I will add them to the review. We had curry puffs as an appetizer, I also had the Tom Kha Gai, which was really smooth, a little spicy and full of chicken & mushrooms. I ordered Red Curry Chicken & it was among the best I have had. Even hubby ate some of mine, he liked it very much. He ordered Garlic Squid, which is something that he orders most of the time at Thai restaurants, he said his was good, nothing wrong with it, nothing spectacular, but I will note that he finished his plate before eating some of my curry! Oh and btw, I am totally addicted to Thai Iced Tea thanks to my friend Amanda, and theirs was really good! And lastly, the pricing was very good, all this food was $42 + tip (and I took home an entire serving of chicken curry).

This is definitely a place to try, my favs are chicken volcano (to die for!), chicken or duck basil, Thai tea is awesome, dumplings are very good too. I'm Mexican and they can actually make me cry with the level of hotness with their thai hot level but hey! I love it!

After working/living in the area for years, I can finally say that I have tried Thai Thai! I've been soooo curious for years but for some reason this place always ended up on the back burner or when we wanted delivery were not inspired to pay double through Delicious Delivery to try it out for the first time. I dined in for lunch the other day during a monsoon rain storm. Having it rain that hard made it easier to order a 'hot lunch.' We started with their rice soup which was very tasty but strange in it's texture/thickness at first. We both had the chicken with red curry and it was better than most around the area but certainly not the best I've had in my life. That said, it was worth going back for and I look forward to trying other items on the menu the next time I go. THE ONLYYYYY thing I would say is if you are a Thai restaurant than why have Japanese food on the menu too? Why not be a fusion restaurant and not have a name like Thai Thai?!? I know that all the places seem to do that in W Broward and it makes me sad that they feel the need to do that to stay relevant to their patrons. Either way, I will not rush back but will keep this place on my list of places to eat at in the neighborhood again.

Our favorite Thai place in the area. Can get crowded on weekends. Consistently good. Service very good also. Decent atmosphere. They also serve Sushi and that was good too.

My daughter and I had dinner there last night. The food was good and the place was packed. The waitresses were professional and helpful. I will most certainly return.

A family favorite for my "adopted clan" (aka the best friend's family), this Thai restaurant has been reviewed by practically every South Florida paper and done well. I don't agree whole heartedly with every bit of praise, but still great food for lunch or dinner. Food: Luckily I've almost always gone in a large group, so I've tried almost everything. However, I'll focus on our most recent lunch. At Thai Thai, all meals start with the joke soup, made of rice, ginger, ground chicken and some scallions. Always warm, but not too hot for the South Florida heat, it's a great way to start a meal. The texture's a bit odd for anyone not prepared for it, but once you get past the almost grits-like feeling, the soup is very filling. Next we had the curry puffs (stuffed with ground chicken, potatoes and onions) and steamed dumplings (with chicken, shrimp and veggies). The curry puffs were a tad bland and over powered slightly by their sweet sauce, but dumplings were perfectly moist and didn't fall a apart. Also, not a bit greasy with dumplings can sometimes be. There were also orders of spring rolls, which were crunchy but not too tough or deep fried too long. And two tiger's tear salads one at a 5 star hot and one a 4 star hot, according to Thai Thai's hotness ranking scale. The spice was a little muted this go around, but often times they pile it on, so be weary of ordering things too spicy. Better to order one star below what you want and ask for some extra on the side. The beef in the tiger's tears was perfectly cooked, and really I would say marinated with just enough lime juice. For main courses we had a tofu green curry, a chicken pad thai, shrimp massaman curry, and a cashew chicken. The two curries were running a bit on the mild side, but solid dishes. The chicken pad thai was great because it wasn't congealed or just one mass of noodles on a plate. It was able to be eaten without any worry of how big a bite it was. The cashew chicken, while a simple dish, wasn't overpowering or heavy. Overall, each dish I tried had one great feature to it: unlike Thai food can, and often does, Thai Thai's plates don't sit in your stomach like a rock. You won't regret eating Thai here. On a side note, Thai Thai also does sushi, and I ventured this go around to try a hot JB roll, a salmon and cream cheese roll tempura-ed. Very good, and while I wasn't expecting decent sushi, I was impressed. Who knew Thai restaurant could sushi better than some Japanese places, especially down in Florida. Venue: Like all good restaurants in Florida, Thai Thai is in a shopping plaza off of Sunrise and Pine Island. Not too overdone, but with a definite attempt a stereotypical Thai decor, the restaurant is filled with darker woods and vibrant colors. Even some faux gold wall hangings that we were tempted to steal. The place is casual, like everything in South Florida, but there are table cloths with glass tops. Seating is around 60 to 80 depending on configuration, but if you plan on having a larger party of say 6 or more, call ahead or grant them a few minutes to rearrange. Good for birthdays/parties, and they do take out too. Definitely go if you're local, and if you're not but find yourself craving some curry, forget Suko Thai, go west on Sunrise and visit these guys. You won't feel bad about yourself afterwards, I promise.

Exceptional service and the most flavorful thai I've ever had. The basil beef is awesome! Also, the spiciness was perfect. Medium was a true medium; flavorful but not overwhelming.
