Came for the endless shrimp... Overall decent, but the shrimp was tiny and not that great. Service was slow... Got all five options of shrimp plus double on two, but sat there for 90 minutes to get it. I won't be back for the shrimp thoigh other options are good.

My first time going to Red Lobster Went there yesterday around 6,party of 2 and a baby, got seated within ten minutes which was good, when our waiter finally got here we wanted to get our drinks and main course out of the way,so we both ordered our drinks, and I felt I was being rushed,I asked him "hey is it possible that I can get some type of pasta with lobster?like the one with the shrimp but lobster instead?" he said "no,there is no lobster that comes with pasta." so I said "okay what about the crab?", he said "no", and he said "okay I will put your drinks in and I will be right back". I was like "wow, to my husband he rushed us off", and we just see him going to other tables and bring their food in and then my husband got his tea first and he said he will come with my drink,my husband is like "where is the cheddar biscuits" and he says that there is none at the moment, when they are done being prepared he will bring it to us,finally my drink comes with a women not our waiter, finally he came back and took our order and I was planning on getting 1 main course and 2 sides, after I took my main order I WAS NOT DONE YET, he immediately asks my husband what is he going to order and when my husband was done saying his main course order he was getting up to leave, now this made me look like a B by saying listing I wasn't done ordering I ended up asking for just one side, skipping forward our food came and I'm like listen u forgot my side he shakes his head like i did not order it and then says oh yeah I didn't put it in because it would've been 4 dollars extra,I knew this that is what the menu said, he tried to save himself by saying that, and then he's like "I lied its seven dollars" because of what I chose but he could've put that side for five dollars on my husbands meal, what a lazy waiter we had. Overall: what I got sucked! and I am not even a picky person, my husband got some kind of spicy fried shrimp, he said he could've just made this at home, oh and the famous cheddar biscuits, tastes like can biscuits, and I wanted to order an extra side and dessert but thanks to that waiter I just didn't,people don't like to feel rushed!we paid 43 dollars...best money I've ever spent, because now I know that I will never be coming back there!

My boyfriend & I visited this location last night with another couple. It was an overall okay experience. Server was very sweet & personable. I just wished she didn't have us wait so long to bring water to the table, that I had to ask another employee to bring it. I was also irked by the fact that this location doesn't provide a floater for the big berry daiquiri like other locations I've visited. In better news, the cheesy lobster/seafood artichoke dip was beyond delicious & when our entree arrived I was pleased to see that they have very generous portions at this location. My favorite is the dueling lobsters. I loved how they were good at letting you talk & enjoy your dinner by spacing out drinks, apps & din din. Will be going back for unlimited shrimp when it comes!

I came here while I was on business in Plantation. My review is not so much as the food (I would give the food 2.5/3 stars) but really a Bartender there. Here's my issue and this is aimed at probably less than a dozen people who actually checks Yelp for a review on Red Lobster.... When I come into a restaurant, my interest is in getting a couple of drinks and food. I am not interested in being solicited by the Bartender on how I can make thousands of dollars by booking all my travel through a travel website that's set up like a pyramid scheme, where the more people in your network, the more money you make. I don't mind a little chit chat and being social, but it's incredibly awkward and super uncomfortable when your bartender/server is pitching you a pyramid scheme. And honestly, I don't think it's just 1 rogue Bartender, I think it's some sort of scheme they got going on here as I saw a different Bartender chatting it up with some other customers basically writing down information on a piece of paper for them. So I'm guessing this is part of their company policy is after your meal and as you're about to get the check, to solicit their patrons into a pyramid scheme.

Love this location, I have been coming here for years and the food has always been great! Location is clean and well kept! The portions are always enough to take some home. Biscuits and salad are addictive! The drinks are a bit weak, and the staff are above average, but not exceptional. Overall great experience! Would recommend and continue to keep coming back!

Our family likes Red Lobster food. We lived in Marquette, Mi before moving to the Davie area. We never experienced a single problem before. We had a friend visiting from out of state, so we decided to go to Red Lobster. There was no wait, so we were seated immediately. However, no one would come to our table. Several waitresses passed us. Finally, my friend said something, and a waitress came to us to tell us that another waitress would be with us. About 10 minutes after that, a waitress finally came to take our orders. We had waited more than 30 minutes, so we put in our whole order, including the drinks we had been waiting on. While writing the order, the 2nd waitress is replaced by the waitress assigned to our table. My husband and I ordered appetizers to serve as our meals, and we had to wait more than an hour and half. My friend had spoken to the manager before. The food was good. The service was absolutely horrible. The only thing that made the experience decent was feeding a squirrel before entering the restaurant. My husband spoke to another manager about the terrible service, and the double charges on our bill. Horrible experience from a big chain restaurant.

My review is similar to Michael's from 3mths ago. I was hoping the seafood was better that what I've had before but sadly cannot say that. Service was on point. Plenty of biscuits lol. My flounder was listed as "wild caught." Eehhh ok I really hope it was. The portion was huge so that kinda tells me it's frozen! So back to my tried n true places for fresh fish. My Home! Red Lobster was busy for sure but trust me from the smell of things it's Not Fresh! Watch out if you're awaiting one of the Feast of something; betcha it's frozen. Btw my salad was sad and my baked potato had way to much salt on the skin too. I eat my entire potato for the nutrients. I can make the bread so nope, until I hear different I won't adorn a Red Lobster again. If fish or seafood smells when cooked, it's not fresh n maybe bad. Please be careful. The server earned 2 stars.

I had read that Darden Industries has sold Red Lobster and it now has new owners and a more expanded menu; so, we decided to try to again. The restaurant looks the same inside. We were greeted by very pleasant young host. The wait time was about 15 minutes and we were seated in a table in the bar area. Our waiter, Josh, was excellent! Very courteous and professional, He knew all the items on the menu and he was able to explain them well. He was very attentive with out be overbearing, as some waiters are, and seemed very interested that we would be happy with our selections. He is worth a five star rating. The menu has expanded, but the quality of the food does not seem to be better than before. I ordered the Ultimate Feast. It came with plenty to eat. However, the taste was mediocre. I ordered the baked potato which was far too salty. You could see slat crusted on the skin. The lobster tail was a bit tough. The shrimp scampi was very soggy. The crabs legs were average. The fired shrimp was ok. The best thing in the entire meal was the coconut shrimp appetizer. The biggest problem was that the food was not hot; but rather, was puke-warm. My partner had better luck with his wild caught stuffed flounder which he felt was average. All th food seemed to be too slaty which is a problem I found with Red Lobsters in the past. The bread was fairly good; but, also salty. All-in-all, the food did not seem much better than the old, Red Lobster - just more plentiful. Because of the excellent service, I will try it one more time. I am hoping the food will improve as the new owners get more involved in their new business and improving the chain.

Wasn't bad for a Thursday night, try to come during the weekdays not as crowded. Friday and Saturday will have you outside waiting for a decent amount of time if you don't get there early. Had the chili shrimp as an appetizer and it was great loved it. For the main course we had the lobster over lobster which was also very good. I would have both if I went again.

So far I have liked the food, I like the endless shrimp and always order the grilled shrimp. I like also the piña colada (not the frozen one). However, their carpet smell terrible! smells like one star motel. I always have to sit close to the bar area where it doesn't smell that bad.

I'm new to the area and was so excited when I saw a red lobster. All I wanted was to take home and amazing lobster feast meal. I was shopping nearby so I decided to call ahead for takeout. I waited 15 minutes after someone picked up and told me someone could help me with takeout then my phone dropped the call. I called back this time asking for a manager because I had already waited 15 minutes. Then it took another seven minutes before someone picked up only to find out that they were really backed up. Someone took my order apologized which started to make me feel better but then asked me to hold to speak to a manager at this point I've been waiting a total of 35 minutes to place an order which was going to take another 30 to 40 minutes to make and I was asked to hold yet again to speak to a manager when my phone call dropped again I just said screw it and went home but if this is the way they treat customers who call-in I can only imagine how people were being treated in the restaurant. I will never return here and I highly recommend you try to go to another location.

Tonight I dined at this restaurant and ordered a 3 lb steamed main lobster. Being from new England, I enjoy the experience of eating a whole lobster. Much to my surprise, the restaurant did not have a proper utensil (cracker) for eating a lobster this size. The manager offered to take it to the kitchen to be cracked, but knowing restaurants, I declined. The waiter offered to try to open it with his hands!!! Yikes, I declined this too. So I struggled a bit with my dinner having to ask 3 times for napkins and hand wipes. To make matters worse, a trip to the mens room to wash up almost made me vomit. It hadnt been cleaned for hours. I have a photo, but can't upload it here. Sorry, this restaurant is ill prepared to serve lobster and who know what disease you'l catch in that mens room, Stay away at all cost.

First, let me start by saying that it was my husband's choice to eat here. I really didn't want to not just because of the poor rating, but the last time or so we visited I just didn't enjoy myself. I feel like Red Lobster has really gone downhill, but I decided to give it a shot because my husband wanted shrimp and they were having some special, and we don't have(or know of) many seafood places nearby. We arrive(My husband, 2 children, and myself) to receive a pager, and have to wait like 5 - 10 minutes to be seated(Which doesn't really bother me). Finally someone showed us to our booth. Let me say this about the seating. It's terrible. It has become very similar to IHOP, which I stopped going to a long time ago. The booths are small and cramped. We had limited table space, and could barely move freely in our seats. I wish instead of trying to cram as many people as they can into the restaurant, they would cut down on the amount of tables(as they have A LOT of dining room space and many tables that are always empty it seems)and make larger roomier tables/booths. My husband and I are normal sized people and we barely fit in the booth. So that is my gripe about the seating arrangements. Not as bad as IHOP, but getting there. After what seemed like an eternity our waiter arrived to our table, but just to say "I know you guys have been here a while, this table is out of my section and they kind of just threw it to me. I'll be with you in a moment." Do I care that he was given a table out of his section? No. He could have just simply apologized for making us wait. A few minutes later he arrives to take our drink order, and he just seemed flustered/nervous the entire time. I don't know if he was in the weeds or new or what. He also dropped off some cheddar biscuits which were stale I ordered a glass of white wine, my husband a beer and milk for our son. Five or so minutes later he arrives with our drinks, and in an attempt to reach across the table to hand me my glass of wine(he should have just walked over to me), he spills my husbands beer all over him and my son. My wine also spilled a little on myself and the table. We weren't really upset about this. We are pretty easygoing people and hey things happen. I actually felt bad for the guy, and my 3 year old kept saying "Hey did you spill something?? Hey mister did you spill something?" Over and over again. The guy must have felt just terrible. He apologized and took our food order. I ordered just a Caesar salad, and an order of sweet chili shrimp. My husband ordered a dish with 3 different kinds of shrimp with a roasted veggie medley, and we ordered broiled fish with green beans and other roasted veggies for our son. Our food took forever to arrive. Our waiter even walked by at one point and looked surprised to see our food had not yet arrived and said "uh i'm going to check on your food now". My salad was OK. It tasted good, but as Caesar salads go it was nothing to rave about. My sweet chili shrimp were good, a tad spicy and sweet at the same time. My husband was happy with his dish. My son did not like his dish(which is not odd, he is a 3 year old), so I decided to try it. The green beans were undercooked, the fish was overcooked. We informed the waiter of this, and a few minutes later the manager was at our table. He asked how everything was and my husband informed us of our sons meal, and that the waiter had spilled a beer on my husband and son earlier. He said he was going to take our sons meal off of the check and that he was sorry bla bla bla. At this point my 7 month old was getting cranky and tired, and my 3 year old was started to get bored, and we were just ready to pay our check and leave. We receive our check, and our sons dish was not taken out as promised. We waited, and waited, and waited for our waiter to return. Finally my husband went over to the manager and made him correct the check and take his payment. Now I understand everyone has a bad night, and our waiter was definitely having a bad one. It wasn't just the mishaps of service. The food was mediocre, the atmosphere is just unpleasant, and the seating is terrible. We decided to never return to Red Lobster. I would rather pay $50 more for a seafood meal somewhere else than to eat here.

three of us went last weekend to enjoy a family meal. The only positive notes I have is the bread was good and so was the service. The seafood pot wasn't anything like the picture on the menu boasted. The food was extremely salty and all three of us had some type of stomach issue that same evening. My kid asked me to never return ...she's only eleven. enough said .

It was aight. The staff were attentive and friendly. I like that everyone is dressed differently. Some people were in tees and shorts; others were in church clothes. Those cheddar biscuits are AMAZING. I had to ask for water refills. For this value, I guess there are no complaints. I wouldn't come back, though.

As another has said, if you are looking for good seafood, this is not the place. This place is to seafood what Olive Garden is to Italian. If you like it, great, if not, oh well. My wife and I have eaten here twice now, and at 2 other locations. We're done. It's just not worth the money. The food is good, but not great. The fact that I got the Duke title on 2 checkins must say something... and this is only the 5th review?

I've never been a Red Lobster fan but I ended up at this one due to a friend's request. Terrible food and probably the worst service I've ever had. My friend ordered a $26 platter of food that was awful. I ordered a much cheaper entre that was mediocre. Our server seemed friendly and attentive at first then disappeared. I had to beg other servers for the check and wait forever for it then beg to get my credit card and receipt back. I won't be back.

Plantatioin- Red Lobster Went for lunch on a weekday. The ambience is ok, there's plenty of window seats and booths. The greetier at the door was friendly and helpful. So we sat down and looked at the menu. They had a regular menu and the "as shown on tv" menu. I am not a big fan of fried food so I skipped those items, although I noticed that other patrons seemed to enjoy the fried items. I ordered the Mahi Mahi, broiled with sweet and spicy sauce. My mom and aunt ordered the Salmon in a bag. So here is where things tend to break down, and I'm not sure it's fair to blame Red Lobster if one of its waitresses is having a bad day. She just couldn't get our order straight and came back for clarification, like "what was it that you ordered?" It was some time later, and it means she still hadn't entered our order in the computer. All of our orders came back wrong. There was no glaze on my Mahi Mahi. Mashed Potatoes instead of baked, regular salad instead of ceasar salad. After repeated requests, no butter came, no straws for the drinks, an order for carbonated water never came. So many things, I decided we'd have to start over to get it right so I kept quiet. But then the salmon in a bag came.... undercooked, still raw and cold on the inside of the fish, vegetables raw and uncooked. The best part of the meal was the desert consisting of "chocolate Wave." So, I would say, the food and service has potential. Maybe on a different day you'll fare better. Be vigilant.

While I really like their biscuits this place has a smell as soon as you walk in. Although its been renovated it smells funky.

I came to the restaurant with a large party and service is SLOW. But the food is good and the friendly service mask the wait.
