Been coming here for over 2 years now. The staff is always friendly, the girls , the staff doesn't seem to turnover often so that's good. Ive ordered everything burgers, salads, wings, fish dishes, etc. My go to of late is the Chicken Chipotle Tacos. Do it, chicken with slaw and a creamy tasty chipotle sauce. Comes with a side of hot sauce but I never use it. The sweet potato waffle fries for a side are great. I work nearby and you see the same people come here day after day. With all the new bars popping up everywhere I think it says something that they have loyal customers. Great place to watch sports, great beer selections, again the food has never let me down. If you like sports bars come here. Pam and Chris always take great care of me and I'll be a customer as long as they're both there.

8/15/15 - After the WOD & WINE Event next door at Iron and Soul Crossfit, a group of us (12) decided to come here. This place accommodate it us in a table at the back of the restaurant. It was not my favorite spot since it was right next to the restroom, we couldn't even see the restaurant. But, in this case, it's the company that counts. Our server brought us waters and beers. They have a nice selection of craft beers. I ordered 12 wings, dry on lemon pepper rub, all drums. Everyone seemed pretty happy with their food. We are all pretty regulars here. This is a neighborhood restaurant. The owner, Chris, always greets you with a smile. Service is always good.

Made it back a 2nd time for a couple of brews and some wings. Love the ambiance - great sports viewing from everywhere. Lots of chit chat among patrons. Outstanding service - smiles accompanying efficiency is always a very good thing. Good beer selection without a lot of fluff and fad. Great wings. Tried salt & vinegar as an experiment and found them outstanding. Large, well cooked and with a really pleasant salt & vinegar sauce. Nice job. I now understand why this place gets such high ratings - it has very good bar food, great service and a very fun atmosphere.

Excellent service, good food, mediocre ambiance... Had a nice meal here. The four of us stopped in for lunch and hit the lunch menu. The lunch prices end at 330pm and were very reasonable. Hamburger and fries $5. 6 chicken wings and fries $6. We enjoyed all our food and was cooked well. Service was top notch. Only complaint was the dingy sports bar atmosphere. I would never take a date there. Perfect spot for a group of buddies to tear up those wings and seafood! Trivia Nights are on Tuesdays beginning at 8pm. And Fridays are Karaoke nights starting at 9pm.

Landlubbers has been around for many many years. They have great lunch specials Monday thru Friday, and great dinner specials as well. Today I came in for the first time in a while and was impressed at how much they haven't changed. I had the lunch special Chicken Tacos & Wings. Both were great! Definitely will stop by more often.

What does any great UYE need? An after party!! So Landlubber's was our spot! I'd been to Landlubber's in the past to watch UM games, and didn't remember anything bad about the place, nor anything special, but I was down with trying it again. Plus a late night happy hour after 10pm sounded great! Our group strolled in right before 10pm and saw a sign saying "seat yourself". After some debate over the best seats to sit our large group one of the bartenders came over and helped move tables together for us. Right off the bat I was impressed with the level as service as he seemed genuinely happy to help and made us feel welcome. After we all sat our server came over and immediately asked about separate checks. Again GREAT service as we all know separating checks at the end can be quite a headache. Food and drinks came out rather quickly. I went with a 22oz Angry Orchard and the dynamite shrimp tacos...for a grand total of $17 with happy hour pricing. The tacos were really good and overflowing with cabbage and fried shrimp! The dynamite sauce had just enough spice to make these tacos amazing. They did come with a side of fries, which I believe could be subbed out for something else. To end the evening we didn't get dessert, but instead did oyster shots (thanks Dom!). Vodka wouldn't have been my pick, but I definitely enjoyed that oyster. Landlubber's is known for their seafood and this oyster didn't disappoint. Landlubber's isn't your fanciest of sports bars, but they do have a lot of tv's and a great staff. In terms of atmosphere I'd dim the lights a little bit, but other than that this place is great. Great prices. GREAT service.

Nothing spells a good dinner after an adrenaline-fillee adventure of laser tag UYE with friends - and on a Saturday night full of NCAA and NBA - than a good upscale sports bar with friends. We met up at Landlubber's for such a meal and have to say I wish there was one closer to me. For one, service was friendly and on time. The wait staff accommodated our expanding group by giving us prime seating within range of their array of TV's. Our waitress Christine was always with a smile, and had no problem breaking down separate checks. The food was classic sports bar grub done right. For starters, the parmesan fries I sampled from Michelle's order were delicious, richly seasoned without being greasy. I'd say the same about the potato skins I ordered. The four slices were packed with bacon bits and cheese, and supplemented with a full container of cool sour creme. Next up were chicken wings - half with buffalo sauce and half with mango BBQ (the mango one was my favorite). Both orders had plenty of juicy chicken (ie not just bone) and flavorful. Trying to out-Kobayashi Fernando, I also ordered an order of plain fries which I had with both regular and raspberry BBQ sauce. Yes, they have a huge array of sauces and also my favorite Angry Orchard cider.

I am not gonna deny that I may look prissy but this girl loves a cool hangout with great bar food, beer and cocktail specials, and a perfect bar/ restaurant to watch games. Located very close to our house we strolled in one evening and I instantly felt at home. They have a huge bar area, nice size dining area and a gazillion TV's. This place is loud, very loud. So guys don't bring a date here unless of course you don't want to converse. Haha They offer many specials daily on beer and cocktails and the food menu is huge. So much seafood, burgers, salads, soups, wings, etc..,.there was so much to choose from that I was in a dizzy! I finally decided I wanted hot wings. I had been craving good hot wings for sometime. The server talked me our of getting the hot saying they were very hot and the medium would be perfect. Not her fault she was a doll but how can you tell what is considered hot for people. I asked for the hot sauce after I realized the medium was not hot enough for my taste. The sauce was excellent and the wings were fabulous. Good amount of meat on them with excellent flavor. My daughter ordered fried catfish and she loved it. Hubby enjoyed his Mahi sandwich as well. Prices are very reasonable. Cool place to chill to catch a game or just to enjoy good food with good company in a fun atmosphere. Service was great!! See you soon!

Great neighborhood restaurant and sports bar. It's right next to my gym so I pop over for dinner sometimes. The lobster bisque soup is fantastic, tator tots and sweet potato fries are yummy and the pork tacos are good. Love the chipotle cilantro sauce they put on top of the tacos. Pretty good beer options and waitresses and bartenders are always nice.

I am in love with the Landlubber's in Coconut Creek, so I was excited to come to this one. The menus aren't incredibly different, but they are different. The popcorn shrimp dinner along with some other things aren't available here. The place is different too - this one is much more 'sports bar' than the one in Coconut Creek. There are TVs at some of the booths and TVs lining the walls like a wallpaper border. It's intense. It would be the most amazing place to watch sports. Funny thing is, I don't love sports, so this matters very little to me personally. It may matter to you though, which is why I mention it. The place was really chilly and not as inviting as the other. I'm doing a lot of comparing here, sorry, but I can't help it. You see, the Landlubber's in Coconut Creek is currently at my 'favorite place in South Florida' so I'm basically comparing everything to it. Anyhow, it's a huge place and there is a lot of seating. On a Saturday for lunch, we had our pick of where to sit. Service was fine - it took awhile to get drinks and part of our meal came wrong, but our waitress noticed it immediately before we could even figure out what had happened. Food was OK. The waffle fries were not seasoned and not crispy. The boneless wings has a lot of fat in them. The crinkle cut fries came out a bit cold. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and by and far the best thing I had. Overall, a great sports bar. Probably would be awesome to get a cheap pitcher and watch a game, but that's not my cuppa tea :)

Came to Landlubbers a few months ago with some coworkers and had a nice time. I must admit the vibe is the typical sports bar but once you start chatting with the bar tenders, and get a few in you, things become interesting lol I'm diving straight to the food on this one so hold your breath... Wings- Look, so I ordered takeout once and they were terrible! I was skeptical ordering again. But I am forgiving so I gave them a try when I came in and they were good, total I 180! The buffalo sauce was perfect, what it should be. Downside, they are very small, not a lot of meat on the bone, but hey maybe I've been spoiled. Now are these wings better than Flannigans or Bokampers, nope not even close, but they are good. Loaded Waffle Fries- OMG a fatties dream. Cooked perfectly, crispy yet still soft in the middle. The cheese was melted the right way, which was a plus. Such a pet peeve of mine when my cheese isn't melted right ( I know what you're thinking, don't be perves people lol) Oysters- They tasted incredibly fresh! Nice portion size and came with all the fixings. These were very good. Unfortunately, they came back up to haunt me that night. I'll blame that one on the drinking though, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The environment is fun. They have a jukebox with a nice selection and the bar tender who served us was super cool. Gave us a show and everything lol. I think I may return, just won't have the oysters, just in case. Enjoy!
(3)Jeff V.
Simply put. The only reasons that I go here are for their lemon pepper wings and to watch Heat games. LPW are consistently delicious and the plethora of television screens make for an ideal group gathering for sports.
(4)Meghan R.
Hooked on the place! Currently in a state of having weekly cravings for their garlic Parmesan fries and my thighs are hating me for it, but SO worth it! Try and get there for happy hour (open-6pm or 10pm-close) for great food and drink specials. The lemon pepper garlic wings are a MUST.
(5)Laura F.
Best wings in town!! Cooked perfectly every time and creamy yummy blue cheese and celery. Nice cold beer and always a friendly waiter or waitress. I recommend the smothered waffle fries with cheese and bacon. So yummy!
(5)Colleen R.
Great neighborhood restaurant and sports bar. The lobster bisque soup is fantastic! Fresh oysters are yum! I usually order the soup and either a fish sandwich, fish platter or Philly cheesesteak. All are tasty.
(3)Ernesto M.
Sorry Landlubbers but I was not impressed at all. My friend and I came here on Sunday to watch my Miami Dolphins get killed! Anyways that's neither here nor there. The staff was very friendly and attentive but the food which is the most important part lacked something! I can put my finger on it but I will describe the wings we ordered. The wings were medium hot which is a joke because it's not spicy at all. They were fairly small and the batter tasted like fish! I wouldn't of minded that if I was eating friend shrimp or a fish and chips! The beer was decent and they have good pricing for buckets. I would probably come again only for the atmosphere and the beer. It's a nice group of people that go here and enjoy football Sunday. My friend loves this place but I will have to judge it the right way for all my yelpers. Hey maybe I had one bad experience and the next time I'll have a different opinion.
(3)Angela H.
We've been coming to Lubbers for about 1 year now and we just love it. Their protons are unbelievably large. Love their fish platter, Philly sandwich and wings. Everything is good. The only thing we don't like is how loud it is. I don't know if it's everyone is talking over the music or what. Love the music and the variety of sports tvs but just loud.
(4)Ila K.
I used to come here with my family all the time, now I remember why we stopped coming. We were sat in a back dungeon-like room & even though there were a total of 6 people in the entire area, we still couldn't hear ourselves talk. The service was fine but the food was bad at best. The NE clam chowder (which was once the best in town) was watery & accompanied with a full bay leaf. The conch fritters were not cooked through & were gummy & wet. The wings, served in a bowl were sitting in a pool of sauce. All completely unappetizing!! Steer clear folks, it's not good.

This place is hidden in a little strip center. I've been here a couple times now and one of the best things they offer is the crab and lobster bisque. The first time I had the lobster special. It was a whole lobster weighing in at 1.25 lbs with coleslaw and fries for $13.99. I thought that was a great deal and the lobster was nice and sweet. The only thing I disliked about lobster is how much work it takes to get into the dang thing. Obviously I knew that cracking lobster was a lot of work but the thing was just so darn sharp. Lesson there is definitely don't go too hungry if you order lobster since it will take you a bit of work to get it out. The next time I went I had the bisque and a buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken was ok, however it reminded me of a more processed chicken rather than having a natural texture. According to the menu it came with the buffalo chicken sauce and topped with blue cheese crumbles. However I'm not a big fan of blue cheese so I ordered both on the side. Unfortunately if you do like blue cheese crumbles you'll be disappointed because it comes with a creamy blue cheese dressing. I got a side of ranch instead which is more my thing. If you are into sports, this place is definitely for you. They have TV's everywhere, and when I say everywhere I mean everywhere! They even have TV's at each of the booths in "top" level. The top level being a step up area where they have more tables. I'm sure I will be back in the near future for more lobster and crab bisque!
(4)Ericka L.
Landlubbers is on my list for top 3 wing places! I love this place! I went last Friday and never knew they had karaoke going on? The waitress was a little slow but she had a great attitude. There was 6 of us that ordered and no one had one complaint about the food! I also noticed they added small tvs at all booths! Awesome! And way more convenient for football games! I recommend Landlubbers for good wings, good burgers, and a good time. ;) I have been coming here for years and I remember my parents taking me here when I was a child. Try them out!
(4)Rachel K.
I admit I was skeptical of a sports bar that serves raw seafood, but boy did they show me! The raw oysters were outstanding and you could taste the freshness. The same held true for the wings. Piping hot and delivered fresh from the grease my date and I couldn't decide which was better: lemon pepper or garlic Parmesan (hint: garlic parm ftw). I could have made a whole day off the apps and happy hour drink specials, but like the rookies we were we both ordered entrees. Blackened tuna steak was out of this world and he loved his shrimp scampi. TLDR: outstanding fresh seafood. Can't wait to go back for the Bloody Mary weekend specials!
(5)Brandon A.
I love the chicken wings here!! Nice and crispy just how i like them. Great place to watch sports. Tv's everywhere! They always have good food and drink specials going on. Staff are always friendly. Service is usually pretty good. They have good lunch specials and im usually in and out so im not late for work. Feels like a place you can easily become a regular at with a cheers type vibe.

Landlubbers is a landmark sports bar in Plantation. I've been coming here for who knows how long- it seems like forever! I recently had lunch here with a friend. I chose it because it's in my neighborhood and the menu is pretty extensive, so your bound to find something you like. They also have drink specials and a late night happy hour menu! On this particular occasion, I chose the lobster roll and a cup of New England clam chowder. The clam chowder was creamy and just the right amount of thickness. The lobster roll was filled with lobster, topped with lettuce shreds, and served on fresh bread. Crispy outside and soft inside. It was also served with fries, of which I'm not a huge fan but these were golden brown, crinkle cut fries cooked to absolute perfection. I had a few and took the rest home. Even reheated, they were good. Food- Excellent Service- Top Notch What more can I say?
(4)Danielle R.
You know I have been going here since I moved to Plantation in the 5th grade, many....many moons ago. They have 'classed up' the joint! No more fish tanks by the bathrooms, they redid the counters on the bar, and the waitresses don't have to wear the Hooters-esq tights anymore; albeit, some of them should put more clothes on for sure!!! Their menu selection is HUGE and they even had a 'special menu', as well as, a 'daily special' menu. We all had a dirty martini to start, then moved on to a glass of wine. The wine selections by the glass stink, but we made due. My friend ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. For veggie options, they don't have a ton of options other than salads and a veggie burger. So, my veggie friend was able to order off the sides menu - bowl of pasta w/ tomato sauce and some veggies and that's what she ate for dinner. They also have tater tots on their menu, it's a whopping $.39 up charge but man is it worth it!!! All of our meals for 'bar food' were very good and there's a TON of TV's here too. I'm definitely going back, especially for beer, football, and chicken wings in the Fall!
(4)Kathryn W.
Solid local sports bar/casual restaurant. Tasty ribs, wings & sandwiches. Oh and get the onion rings instead of the fries. The extra buck is well worth the upgrade.
(3)Thomas M.
We had a great time here last night! Many tv's for any sports events! Raw bar and many specials. Great wings and sandwiches too! We will definitely be stopping here on our next trip around here! Karen was terrific!
(5)Forest W.
I go for shrimp and wings once a week. If you like HOT wings try the wing challenge. Their ghost pepper hot sauce is pretty hot. Friendly staff with good food. A must on football sundays
(5)Christopher R.
Found this place on yelp, we are from out of town and found this place to be really good. I ordered a burger med came out well done. They took back and fixed immediately. Came out perfect the 2nd time. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back .
(5)Jason D.
Shrimp jammers r still the best
(4)Nerissa H.
Hot garlic wings wet (IF YOU LIKE HOT), NE Clam chowder (always so good), my boyfriend loves the fresh oysters with horseradish and the works( I wish I could have them but I'm allergic :{ ), Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich or meal is always perfectly grilled everytime, ahi tuna app is awesome, steamed clams, Jen one of our servers is always wonderful and remembers how we like everything "thank you":), Alex (one of the reasons I ate here for 10yrs+ and my bf 20yrs +..he always has a smile, extremely charismatic, the epitome of customer service and I think represents what we view landbubbers as and always will! My only and extreme complaint is the fact that they don't have Tabasco out anymore but there is always hopefully in the back when we come just ask (this could be a game changer for us since Tabasco compliments everything and just enhances the flavor of all my recommendations NOT disgusting cheap crystal yeww). A definite must have if you are in Plantation!!! :)
(5)Ian O.
The food is good and the service is too. I always start with a soup, they have new England clan chowder and lobster bisque. I do a half and half, half bisque and half chowder, yum. Then I usually do chicken wings cause that's how I roll. And a beer, obviously.
(3)Gary M.
Whole Lobster done very well! We had the single whole lobster for dinner tonight and the lobster was very moist and sweet... like lobster should be. The claws were meaty and of course the tail, too. Being 1 1/4 pounds, one does not expect the smaller legs to have much meat and such was the case tonight. The slaw was crisp but seasoned too gently. I was told by a regular that the slaw is somewhat variable visit to visit. The fries were OK but not contenders for the heavy weight bout. I am thinking the crinkle cuts are ready prepared and frozen for use at a later time. This is one area where they could pick up an additional star. If I am wrong about the fries being a commercial product, please correct me. I do not wish to be inaccurate. I have only my taste experiences with other fries to compare to... like In & Out Burgers where the fries are cut as you order them. All elements considered, four stars and I will return. Oh yes, the single lobster dinner was $13.95... great deal!
(4)Jim D.
If you love the Dolphins love the Panthers love the Heat and love the Marlins come here you'll get the best wings and enjoy the games This is the best spot in South Florida for wings beer and sports
(5)Adam L.
I have been going to landlubbers ever since i was a kid! The wings are hands down the best I have had. I tend to have buffalo wings in a lot of the local in town and I have yet to find any better than landlubbers! Aside from wings, they have a huge menu with just about anything you could want from burgers to steaks to seafood. it is a very spacious place with more tv's and games than you can imagine in one place. Service is always A+ as well!
(5)Anthony B.
This Landlubbers location is fantastic. Very quick and attentive service, delicious food served in BIG portions, and very cheap prices. Before I went I read on yelp how great their Crab & Lobster Bisque is, and it didn't disappoint. Incredibly delicious. For my entrée I had the dozen hot wings, and they were great. Cooked perfectly and loaded with just enough of their delicious buffalo sauce.
(5)Rohini C.
Decor is average. Food is average to poor. My tuna salad last time I was there was terrible. The fish wasn't even seared on the outside, and it was cut at the wrong angle which resulted in it being inedible and chewy. I returned it. My tuna salad sandwich today was average. Can't say it was anything crazy. Mediocre. Decor is blaze - the only redeeming quality about this place is they have screens if you want to watch the game. Keep in mind though, the screen quality is terrible. Even though they have screens to watch the game, the ironically are unable to handle the crowds that come here during lunch to watch the games. We got our food 75 minutes into the soccer game (this is not including half time). Took them about 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches and 2 plates of wings. If you have other options for places to eat, go elsewhere.
(2)Mariam D.
Hooray, I'm a fan of Landlubber's! Came here for a late night dinner on the recommendation of a local. This place is great not only because the kitchen is open until 1 or 2 am on weekdays, but because they offer happy hour specials (half priced) raw bar treats. I am a bit skeptical about where I consume seafood, and my friend assured me that they are repeat visitors and everything is always delicious. Craft brews on the menu too, and the Lagunitas A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale (American Pale Wheat beer) was awesome. We had a dozen oysters on a half shell, little neck clams, middle neck clams, an oyster shooter (a shot glass with beer or vodka, an oyster, and hot sauce), and the blackened catfish plate with tater tots and rice and beans (several side options to choose from). Everything was delicious and served in good time by our friendly waitress (she was oh so patient as I deliberated over the extensive menu of meals from the sea, as well as bar pub food for land lovers). They also offer crab legs, jalapeno poppers, lobster rolls, a shrimp po boy, burgers, salads, soups (including a lobster and crab bisque that sounds good for a cool evening), and much, much more. TVs on every table and all around make this the perfect spot to watch a game and get so much more from a visit to a sports bar in a strip mall than one could ever hope for. I was impressed by the selection, quality, and overall goodness that Landlubbers presented on my visit, and would recommend this to anyone looking for some fine eats any time of day or night.
(4)Colleen W.
The food was good. They confused the steaks and brought out wrong potato type, but they made up for it by quickly fixing the issue. Tatar tots with cheese and bacon were awesome appetizer. Fish and chips were well portioned. A well done steak was actually edible (don't judge, I like my meat burnt) hush puppies were full of flavor and traditional wings buffalo style were good.
(4)Allison S.
Decent local place for a beer and a sandwich, or to watch a game on their 100 TVs. They have a huge menu covering all the standard bar food items, plus they have some Asian-style stuff, Mexican-style stuff etc. I think the huge menu is actually a negative - everything is cooked adequately but nothing is really great. Burgers are pre-made patties, alot of the dishes taste the same (similar ingredients in a slightly different arrangement). I don't like their wings - they are tiny and chewy. Bizarrely (considering the name) I have never seen anyone eating raw seafood here. The waitresses are super friendly. They could do with adding some more craft beers to their draft list, or changing it up once and a while.
(3)Daniel P.
This place is a great local favorite! Love the lobster and crab bisque, the best I've had. Their wings are great, burgers are great, clam chowder is great, pretty much their whole menu is great! And if you are a sports fan, there are giant tvs all over the place and little ones on the booth for your personal viewing pleasure!!
(5)Ashley N.
Usually I come here and enjoy the experience but the past time I went the service was terrible. Was not told any happy hour specials, plates where taken away as we where still working on them, was brought out the wrong side and it never got fixed but still got charged for it. So disappointed place has definitely changed in the past years.
(2)Mandy H.
I ordered wings and some of wings are still red.
(2)Debbie E.
Honestly for a family run restaurant in the suburbs, this place has all the atmosphere you want followed by great food and drinks followed by a totally awesome staff starting from the cooks to the servers to the bartenders and bringing up the rear (Alex I mean that in the nicest of ways) an owner who brings it all together to equal a PRICELESS gem right in the heart of Plantation!!! I've been going here for years, and it just keeps getting better and better. Kudos to all.
(5)Tx G.
The food is adequate and nothing special but the clam chowder and ribs are good and above average. We go here cause its easy and quick. Except on Friday night(Feb 20) . We went there for chowder/Chips/and a hamburger and had to wait over an hour (yes an hour) because they didn't have their act together. Only after I complained did the waitress bring the chowder and chips. We finished those and still no hamburger. When I told them they wasted an hour and I wanted to cancel the order and to bring me a bill, only then did the manager bring me a hamburger (but not the fries that go with it.) I told him I was sorry that I ever stepped into his establishment. The only positive note is that he did not charge me for the chowder and chips, but that wasn't enough to me to excuse this place and their total lack of organization. I will never go to this place again!
(2)Angel R.
Good food. Good people... Prices are decent. It's like cheers... Everyone knows your name...
(4)Doug M.
Everything is low quality. The ingredients, the service. You're served on plastic plates with plastic cups and surrounded by little plastic containers of condiments sides and dressings. Seems all the operating budget goes to televisions. At Outback next door you'll get a much higher end experience for about the same price. Tip to landlubbers: you need a heatlamp. Without one the food either comes out cold or at the wrong time.
(1)Adam B.
No flavor. Burger had no taste. Tots tasted like oil. Guess this will be the last time I come back.
(2)Jeff D.
Landlubbers is a VERY cool place w/ great food & a laid back comfortable atmosphere. It's funny to see a couple reviews complaining about it being crowded....HELLO....there is a reason it's crowded! If you dont like a crowd....then go somewhere that sucks....no worries about a crowd there. LOBSTER BISQUE!! WOW.....it's not what you expect to knock your socks off at a locally owned sports bar....but it is excellent. The wings are fantastic....hot / garlic is my favorite. HUGE beers....cheap drinks. if you want to quietly sit at a bar w/ nobody around to bother you so you can quietly contemplate life...go somewhere else If you are in Plantation & want a great place w/ cool people, a fun atmosphere & delicious food....then this is for you.
(5)Angela M.
Overall, it's an ok place for a late-night bite when craving bar food. The wings and fries are good- the buffalo sauce is definitely delicious. The staff is friendly, nothing special about the service. They have A LOT of TVs, so it's great for watching sports. They claim they have craft beer now, but blue moon and holy mackrel are hardly craft beers to get excited about! I wish they had better choices in the beer department.
(3)Dennis F.
To say the food here is bar food is way off base. This place IS a great sports bar with an awesome happy hour but they offer the largest menu I can recall seeing anywhere. I have tried most of it and can honestly say, I have NEVER gotten a bad tasting or poorly prepared meal here. After a couple times here, you feel like Norm from Cheers! The wings and burgers are some of the best in South Florida. Landlubbers has great lunch specials as well. The service is top notch and the prices are very reasonable!
(5)Eric R.
Another fantastic lunch at landlubbers. Food is good, service is great, atmosphere is relaxing. Can't ask for more from a fantastic sports bar.

I have been a patron for many years. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have ordered off the menu or with a nightly special. I will say the Hickory Burger is one of the better burgers in South Florida. That paired with a massive ice tea is the perfect lunchtime recharge on a hot sofla summer day....

Love this place, eat there about once a week. Huge menu so I don't get bored, quick and friendly service, and the prices are good. The place is very clean - not true of a lot of places in the area. And you can get food until 1 or 1:30 am every night. Also it's a big place so you can be pretty sure you can get a table or a seat at the bar even during big games. Has a full bar, and two happy hours (an early one and one after 11 pm).

This place did a great rennovation making it more spacious...the food has always been good, the bar fun, and now you have a great party room with all the games in the back. Service is friendly, clams are fabulous, what's not to like about this place....oh tons of TV's for great game viewing too!

We had a decent experience at Landlubber's. Wasn't the best experience ever, but definitely not the worst. The Good: -Pretty extensive menu. Although it is centered on seafood, you can find cheeseburgers, wings, and sandwiches. -They have some good daily specials. -Good value. You can get a lot of food at a good price. -Their happy hour is great. -Service was excellent. The waitress was awesome even though she was swamped. -Loved their buffalo shrimp. (My husband thought the sauce was too salty, though) -Sounds simple, but I love that they offer a choice between fries, tater tots, and waffle fries with their meals. I like choice. -They have a thousand TVs which is great if you like sports. The not so good: -It always seems to be crowded and it's an obstacle course to maneuver through the tables. -For the most part the food was too plain and needed more seasoning. (With the exception of the buffalo shrimp) I had a fried seafood platter and I had to add a good bit of salt. -I totally agree with the reviewer that wrote that it seemed more like a diner than a bar. I felt the same way. It's fine if being a diner is what they want, but it's obvious they are trying to be a bar. -The atmosphere just did not do it for me. The place is in need of a renovation. Would I return? I'd be willing to try again but with much lower expectations. I do like the value of their food, though.

This is a go to sports bar. They are also on Delivery Wow, so I order when I want good wings, but can't quite motivate myself to move. The wings are always my main dish, I have had the buffalo chicken sandwich, which is pretty good. I do prefer the wings though. As far as starters, their lobster bisque is the bee's knees as well as the fish dip. I really love their fish dip. This is a good place to come with friends to grab drinks, watch a game, and have good food. I've seen some reviews calling it "bar food," but I classify their food on a higher scale than I would bar food. Give it a try!

I've been here ion several occasions since I wrote my first review in 2010. Most of the time I've had the same thing, wings. I think they've tweaked their menu a little since then, but I normally go on weekdays at night time around 10PM+. They're great because they're open late and I think the kitchen closes at 1AM. At that time, there's 60c happy hour wings along with other specials (other charges still apply). I ate inside with my cousin and I asked if they could do hot BBQ wings and he got honey BBQ wings. We both shared a dozen medium-large steamed clams on happy hour pricing for about $7.99 or I think $9.99. We actually got our clams after we got our wings and were already halfway done with them. The clams were decent, came with a slice of lemon and clarified butter. I was thinking they would have cocktail sauce too but maybe that comes normally with the raw clams. As for the wings, they were pretty good, fairly crispy skin with enough sauce covering the wings. Mine tasted more like hot sauce but with a touch of sweetness, I was hoping more of a BBQ taste with a little heat. My cousin's honey BBQ wings had a sweeter honey taste but the BBQ sauce component was still there. I haven't had much else from there except for a pulled pork sandwich. It was on a hamburger bun and wasn't that great, the pulled pork was too sweet and was dry. Maybe it was just that one time but I haven't had anything different since. The lemon pepper wings I'd recommend, very sour for some people, I think Wingstop does it a little more balanced. The raspberry wings are on point too if you like a sweet taste (not very tart).

Love the food and drinks but bartender wasn't as friendly and outgoing as I would've liked. Atmosphere pretty nice overall.
(4)Lee Z.
Overall, we had a great experience. The good we had was good, and the service was outstanding. The wings are delicious!

I'm very sad to say... Landlubbers doesn't show UFC cards anymore. ::WORLD COMES CASHING DOWN:: The food is still nom nom yum yum goodness - but I miss the fights =[

Been eating at Landlubbers since I was a kid. Great food, and service.

Went to Landlubber's for the first time the other night, the oysters were so fresh and delicious! The steamers were also a favorite! The atmosphere was very laid back and very inviting. Friendly and helpful staff! We will definitely be back soon! Can't wait til football season to watch the games here!
(5)Franco M.
Update: I didn't post an awful review when the new owners took over, but I had my gripes so it was an average one. So, I didn't go for about 6 months or more, and I decided to give it another shot. What a difference! They knocked down a wall to expand the bar seating area, there are private TVs at the booths near the wall, they have actual drink specials that they never had before, and they have food specials that are special again! Can you say bacon cheeseburger with grilled cheese sandwich buns? I am pleased to say that my favorite late night food spot is back and better than ever! I'm a regular again!

I've been going to Lanlubber's for years with my family, and wouldn't you know it, we decided to drop in on my trip home for the holidays. The first thing I noticed when we walked in is that they had renovated sometime in the last 2-3 years (can't remember exactly when I was there last). But, the redo definitely improved the bar area. The clientele is reliably cougurish, with women 45 over routinely gathering at the bar to prey on the younger, male football and MMA fans who frequent the bar. The food at Landlubber's isn't great, but it's not bad either. You can't go wrong with the Chicken Philly or the Blacked Mahi, whether served on a sandwich or on top of a salad. My family always goes for the buffalo wings, but I've never been a particularly big fan. I'll let you decide for yourself on that one.
(3)Heidi M.
I go out of my way for their chicken Philly sandwich..I like the atmosphere, casual, not too big, and staff is always friendly. Love the steamers. My fav. the chicken philly ..oh and the waffle fries are fantastic . My go to sports bar ! Oh open late night too !!

We have visited this place for a variety of occasions but it's usually a fan favorite after a round of golf. Nothing tastes better than some cold beers, chicken wings or a sandwich to celebrate your round. Unfortunately, this place isn't the same place it used to be. I realize the month doesn't have an "R" in it, but that doesn't mean the oysters you get should be any less than the quality you expect when the month does have one. Today, I visited and ordered a dozen raw oysters and my toe nails are bigger than these they served me. If I'd been the sucker, I'd have been embarrassed to serve them. In fact, I'd have cracked them open, called the server over and asked them to tell me or whomever the customer was that they didn't meet their standards of quality and asked me to order something else. I guess it was easier to just charge me the $10.99 and send them on! Since I only got a salad to go with it, and as it's hard to mess up lettuce, I don't have much else to comment on. But even with me complaining to the server about my raw oysters, she didn't do anything about it, which is why she got the tip she did. HINT: your namesake was a lousy President, too! It will be a LONG time before I ever go back here again. Like never, probably!
(1)Michael S.
All I can say is YUM. This is a sports bar with some special features. Every day they have different specials. The day I went was "1/2lb peel and eat shrimp 5$) We started out with spinach dip, which was very tasty. The waitress was very attentive and was quick with re-fills. I got the buffalo sandwich, which was made very well. The fries were a little cold but, they brought out fresh ones right away. I also got some shrimp, which was also very good! Everyone at the table seemed to be happy with their dishes. I recommend you try this place ASAP. If you've been to the one in Cooper City, try this one and you'll never go back. It is so much better.
(4)Justin M.
Okay, I am tired of giving this place a shot. Every time I go, I think that the next plate that I will get will change my opinion. Wrong. I have had the "filet Mignon sliders" which could not have been more awful. Chewy like gum. Nowhere near fillet. I do not mind "nowhere near fillet", just don't sell me on that. I have had the fried chicken sandwich, wow, DRY. Like they left it in the deep fryer for 5 minutes too long. I asked the server "How is the Mahi sandwich?", "Ooh, excellent". Nope. Over cooked, small, and way over priced. I have given this place multiple chances but it continues to disappoint. I think that I am going to stay away moving forward. The PRO are the wings. Lightly fried, nice sauce, decent price. But, I can find good wings elsewhere. Sorry Lubbers, I probably wont be back.
(2)Rae K.
Part dive bar, part diner, the food here isn't bad but you might feel bad about eating it. Diverse menu with great option and a fairly cute group of guys behind the counter. I'd definitely return for cheap beer and nightly specials if I was in the area.
(4)Paul M.
Best wings in Florida. Always great service. I've had most of the menu. Everything is good, but especially wings, lobster bisque, crab cakes, salmon, mahi, seared tuna, seafood etc.

To the pregnant mami that ordered a steak, to be delivered (by a third party!) 3 things that should NEVER be delivered: 1-Steak 2-Ice Cream 3-Chicken wings Now you know! And I just had to laugh when you stated, "I'm pregnant" then stated you don't eat meat! I am at over 130 meals in this place, and never had a bad one. Did get 3 bad shrimp once on an order of peel and eat. The shrimp were OVERCOOKED. Kev, QC those things please. Other than that, I would recommend anyone to LL's, and I do, allot. Just don't get the above mentioned items for delivery and your good to go. Doesn't eat meat, hahahaha good one!
(5)Marie H.
Our server was such a bitch. Two out of the four people that we went with ended up getting really sick after eating here. Did I mention that our server was such a bitch? This place is the perfect cure for constipation :)

Dang!! This place is well hidden. The parents in law are back for their annual 6 week stay and wanted to take us out for a bite of lunch. We had noticed this place when we stopped last weekend at the local Walmart Neighborhood Market to pick up some supplies for them so they had breakfast and lunch for the day after they arrived on a late (and apparently the last before a snowstorm) connecting flight out of Philly. I am constantly amazed at the gems that are hidden behind unassuming storefront facades in the strip malls here in South Florida and this was no exception. This place has been in business since 1992 and its family owned. When we walked in it was "seat yourself" and man...the place was SLAMMING!!!!! Each seat along the bar counter looking back at an open kitchen behind the bar was taken. Families, groups of young teens, old folk, working guys in uniform on their lunch break. You name it. America was representing. This was about 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately when a place is slamming the waitresses can get a little overwhelmed and we all know, when you are hungry, time slows down. Therein lies the loss of a star. It took a while to catch the servers eye to get service. But when she came we gave as much of our order as we could (a certain individual had left to take a phone call without leaving his order), and a little more while to get the food, though the kids food and the cheese fries came out pretty fast. BUUUUUTTTT.....they have a ton of tellys showing all sorts of sports to keep you distracted. The specials they have for drinks everyday and all night include $1 for 10oz Icehouse and Bud Select drafts (or $2.25 for 25 ounce) and $2.75 for 10oz Sam Adams or $4.99 for 25 ounce. and they have a late night happy hour 7 days a week from 10p.m. until closing. The kitchen is open until 1:40 a.m. too so num for those late night munchies. The walls are adorned with sports posters, they have a row of arcade games. There are enough tv's (50 I think the waitress said) with enough different channels showing stuff from 9 satellites - enough to satisfy anyone with a bad dose of ADHD . And the food is good. We ordered two orders of cheese fries for the table and mac n cheese for the kids and some burgers for the big people - mini burger basket ( for me and the hubby and two 1/2lb charbroiled hamburgers for the parents. I had a small Cesar because I just KNEW that there was going to be way too much food (and there was!!) The guys had two 25oz buds each and we had a pitcher of soda for the table. The check was $60 before tip. The burgers were really good. Even the mini burgers. A lovely charred taste and perfectly cooked. The fries were frozen but if you can eat the entire burger AND all the french fries well good for you. The menu is extensive as are the specials and monthly events (printed on a sheet of paper you can take to go). But the atmosphere is truly family, neighborhood, local and truly American. We are definitely going back to sample some of their extensive menu (the kids menu alone has 10 items). This place suits our family outings in Sunrise BIG TIME.

I visit landlubbers once a month for a girls night out, and am never disappointed. We always order wings, and they are always delicious! The caesar salad is OK, not the best I have had or even close but *shrug* I am mostly there for wine and wings. The wine is always tasty, and service is great. Never had a bad experience here!
(4)Sana H.
Been going there for 20 years. Went Super Bowl Sunday to do takeout.place was busy as hell but the manager and staff gave first class service. 3 cheers for outstanding service and of course great food.

When an owner or owners of a restaurant go out of their way to at least attempt to right a less than good experience, I think that shows a great deal of class. Most importantly, it exposes a professional attitude and understanding of how to run a restaurant. It's not easy the restaurant business, there many variables that an owner does not have complete control over. I tried to revisit Landlubber's in the last couple of weeks but for various reasons, just never got there. So, to be fair I have deleted my first Yelp from January. Keeping this opinion on Yelp explains much more than if the Wings were decent or not during my first visit. A restaurant such as Landlubbers has been around for a very long time. The competition is very acute in this area. So, it is important to highlight when there are owners who strive to be better and these owners have reached out and deserve a another try. Stay tuned for a future update. (Sorry didn't happen) Good people deserve another try, its that simple.

What's not to like about this place? Great food, fast service, they get your order right, the food is hot when it gets to you, the portions are big, the prices are very fair, and there's lots of parking. Locals know this place never disappoints, so sometimes there can be a bit of a wait; but I've never waited longer than 15 minutes or so. Their babyback ribs are very good, the wings are huge and meaty, the seafood is excellent, and the Cokes are huge and always refilled quickly. Just an all around great neighborhood joint with no pretenses. You will be happy you ate here!

Nestled in a nightmare strip mall, Landlubbers is a local favorite. I've been going here since I was a kid and it's always full of ravenous patrons. It is a sports bar; be prepared if there is a game on. The walls of Landlubbers are covered in televisions covering sports, so I'm sure you can imagine the ambiance of the place. The menu is pretty large, and I'm usually pretty happy with whatever I get. My favorites here are the buffalo shrimp (they're bonkers good), tuna melt, and the burgers. I've also had delicious blackened fish sandwiches, oysters, and of course, their popular chicken wings. It's a bar with bar food, but the quality and price keep people coming back. The wait staff is really my only complaint. It gets pretty busy, so I can understand delay and even a forgotten whatever, but it seems sometimes you get flat out forgotten yourself. Other staff usually pick up your table, and the owner will pitch in himself, but I've frequently had to get up myself and ask for something from the bar so I can continue with my meal. This isn't the case all the time, of course, but less then outstanding service does happen enough I feel compelled to mention it. Nonetheless, the overall experience is well worth the leg stretch. *Edit: Recently, Landlubbers has also raised their prices, so be prepared to pay 9 bucks for those buffalo shrimp! Had to take away a star because last time they were burned terribly.

Went here with my wife, sister-in-law and my cousin and had an amazing time! Very lively and boisterous, Landlubber's is the quintessenital raw bar and grill that you've always wanted to go to. I ordered a dozen oysters in the half shell with an ice cold beer, my wife got a cheese burger and we all had some wings as well. Everything was delicious! The waiting staff was extremely friendly and warm; our waitress made it a point to check up on us every so often since it was so busy I guess she just wanted to let us know that she was still on top of our order and hadn't forgotten about us. Before we left my cousin and I ordered a TALL pitcher of beer that devestated us. I will be back...soon.

A two-star visit for sure. Is this a three or four star establishment? Maybe, but it wasn't yesterday when I visited. This place is tucked away in a strip mall on Sunrise and Pine Island, along with a Hurricane Wings, which is what we where there for (but it was closed for remodeling). We decided to give this place a try. It had a nice big menu along with everyday and day-specific lunch specials. The service was friendly and prompt, good if you need to get in and out during a lunch break. The server did slip a bit though when we went to order one of the lunch specials, which they didn't have. Her response, "we don't have that to day hun, you must have read that wrong." She was half right: they didn't have it though it was listed on the day's specials. Apparently someone forgot to tell the kitchen staff it was on the specials list. A bit rude, but ultimately we got past it. The server didn't really check on us at all or offer anything (like more beverages), but she was cool about splitting the check up for us. The meal was poor to average. The pulled pork was flavorless so it was a good thing it had a spicy/sweet sauce on it. The fries were exactly like OreIda Crinkle Cut Fries - clearly frozen and baked (not quite long enough). Maybe they should cut back on the menu options and work on quality? I'm a big fan of local, non-chain, or at least small chain, places, but this place didn't seem worth visiting.

let me start by saying that my wife & i have been visiting landlubbers plantataion since 2006. we have always been impressed with thier key west florida atmosphere and the mom and pop feeling. It was always good food ,cold beer and good times with a familiy enviroment. The other night we decided to visit landlubbers and ordered our usual appetizer, dozen raw oysters with extra lemons which i made it a point to ask the waitress and did not receive and two mixed cocktails, bay breeze and a tom collins. I was embarrassed to see the oysters that they brought to the table they were dark, shrivelled and looked sickly ,if I had to describe them I would say that they looked like a pair of lungs after 30 years of smoking, the cocktails were flat with no life, they even failed to garnish them, I could understand no garnish if i was at a house party but when your're eating out you want an experience, when I called the waitress over, I showed her the quality of the oyster and she removed them from the table and even made an effort to say that she would not charge us for the entree as if that would even be an option on whether we would pay for them, minutes later the manager showed up to our table and asked us what seemed to be the problem, when I told him that I was offended to think that landlubbers would ever consider me to pay & eat such d oysters his response was "offended ?" and went on to say that we were second to complain that evening, I was shocked, with such a paticular food like oysters which should always be the freshest and healthiest to prevent potential sickness one would think that they would only bring out thier best. When I pointed out that the cocktails were not garnished with fruit he went on to correct me in front of my wife on what type of fruit it should have been garnished with, I"m not a customer service professional but I know not to correct a man in front of his wife especially when they messed up. The manager was snarky and unapologetic ,after a minute of consideration we desided to leave and walk over to Outback which we have never been to, we had fresh seafood and an awesome steak, It was the best decision we made next to bailing on landlubbers that very evening. Needless to say we wont be back .
(1)Han N.
I've been here twice late at night out of randomness. I only ordered oysters and beer at the bar, though they have an extensive menu of everything. I liked the bar atmosphere and the oysters are somewhat addictive. Good place to hang out to watch sports, relax or chat with friends.
(4)Francisca B.
I'm giving Landlubber's 5 stars for what it is: a family spot, sports bar, and hang-out for anyone who enters. I have been frequenting Landlubber's since my early teens, and I love it just as much now as I did then. The wing specials are great, and go figure, the wings are delicious, too. Over the years, I feel I've had everything on the menu, from buffalo shrimp, to steak, to clam chowder, to Philly Cheesesteaks. I've never left unsatisfied or disappointed with my meal. This is a place you go when you don't mind running into your high school history teacher or former coach. There is a collective "Plantation" feeling here, and you'd have to be from there to know what I mean. The food is as great as the service, and I don't imagine a point in my life when Landlubber's is not in the near future. Try the soups and specials!
(5)J G.
Filled with local lunch crowd the day a large group of us went . Decent variety for bar food with daily and weekly specials. Friend raved about soup but all other meals good but not anything special.
(3)Chuck I.
Have been here a long time ago and back in the area again but this place was a big disappointment . Wings were over cooked and oysters were less than desirable , frozen commercially prepared at best. Service was mediocre at best by an unenthusiastic server going through the motions . I don't believe i will be back anytime soon . My money can be spent better elsewhere.
(1)Andrea R.
Amazing wings! Full liquor, great service. the food in general is all great!
(5)Mathias S.
The only Dive in this bar is the number of repeat customers. I used to really like this place and their large selection. They were more like a Diner than a bar. The last time I was there I had to text a friend in LA about the menu. It really appeared that they cut 40% of the selection and started nickel & diming everything. I noticed they had a fancy new computer system for their order entries. I asked the waiter what happened to a bunch of stuff on the menu and I surmised they did some form of regression analysis to find out what they were selling a bunch of and vice versa. Put all that info into a spreadsheet and just started a slash and burn to save thanks to the economy. If you go for the wings, that's cool, the only problem is the shopping plaza has gone so downhill I just hope my car is their when dinner's done.
(2)Chris A.
I call this place WAGS- the sequel...WAGS was a restaurant not a raw bar but there was this collective vibe amongst "Kendallites" that just permeated the place. Landlubber's has that same effect. Since there are a great deal of ex-Kendall people that live up there, it almost brought the memories of WAGS back. I miss the "charlie chicken". But their buffalo wings are great, their calamari strips equally good..and lately I have been ordering the fish sandwiches which also do me well.
(4)Brett D.
great place and open late! thats all you gotta say
(5)Alejandra M.
I love coming here. My husband and I love their draft beer specials. It is always something different every time. The food here is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They have something for everyone. All the waitresses and waiters are nice and pleasant! I highly recommend for you to try their raw clams with some lime juice. Ohhhh don't let me forget their brocolli cheddar soup. I had a bowl with their oyster crakers and that was the best brocolli cheddar soup I have had evahhhh!
(4)Pam S.
I've been going to Landlubber's for their wings for years....they are the BEST! Usually I do take away. Wings that I have tried other places are either soggy or not enough sauce. Theirs are consistently crispy, plenty of sauce, a side of celery and blue cheese - it doesn't get better than this!
(5)Jen M.
I normally love hanging out and eating at landlubbers, however after tonight I am never going back due to professionalism. Not only was our waitress (Carla) not cheerful, she was also rude. The moment my group of colleagues stepped into the bar/grill and sat ourselves down, it took a few minutes for us to receive our menus (it was not busy by any means). After taking our drink orders she came back to take our dinner orders, during that time half of the group had to either explain what we wanted twice or thrice. I had ordered blackened catfish and a ceasar salad (which I never received) As everyone got their food, one of my colleagues noticed she did not get his order right and reminded her and she of course brought over what he asked for but never let him know that is was an extra fee. Come to find out my catfish was RAW. Now I normally always order the same thing, which is blacked catfish, and what I had in front of me was not it. Blacked catfish is not supposed to be undercooked nor spicy. During the time we received our food the waitress was either chatting it up with the table behind us (with two girls who were obviously her friends) or not even around (basically ignoring us). The fact I had to wait like 10 minutes before I could get her attention about the fish is outrageous. So she went to fix the order and out came some guy that never introduced himself and tried to explain how a blacked catfish looks like. Mind you I know how to cook fish and what they served me was raw. So he went back to get me a different catfish that came out perfectly. Never once did she ask if our food was alright, nor did she ask if we would like drink refills. As time progressed, she started taking away the dishes and never asked me if i would like a to-go-box, i had to ask her myself very loudly as she was walking away. When she came back with the check and the box I had noticed she never actually looked at it to make sure everything was correct and I had to remind her that she never served me my salad i ordered and that i was not going to pay for it. Instead of her taking care of it she brought the manager for what ever reason since she does not have the capability to comprehend something quite simple. I had to then repeat myself, there after my colleague who had the issue with his original order was trying to explain to the manager how the food went from wrong to horrible (not once did he ask for a refund). The manager felt the need to consistently interrupt and assumed that the gentleman was trying to get a refund, but that was not at all what was being explained. He explained that he was never informed of the extra priced item and also he did not want to say anything negative about the food early on due to me having an issue. It is called courtesy which the manager had non of. After the squall, we all separately payed for our meals, instead of the waitress bringing back the individual change (we separated the checks and the payments mostly in cash) she felt as if she could just bundle all the change and hand it back to us. The purpose of dividing them out differently is so each person receives the correct amount of change. She then decided to hover near us (because it's tipping time for her) and continue on the worthless conversation she was having with her friends. Although we all left her a tip, she actually did not deserve a dime. As we left I decided to call and talk to the manager about the whole issue. It is called common courtesy and decency if someone is in a foul mood yet has the ability to hold an intellectually punctual conversation. However the manager, who later said he was the owner, which i doubt due to the lack of common sense and professionalism, he did not comprehend what i was trying to explain to him. Instead of apologizing or understanding that he needs to train the waitress or take disciplinary action, he kept trying to bring up certain points that were not even important. The fact he was being rude, cutting me off and not even caring about the situation make me furious. I do not like repeating myself five times due to a persons ignorance, stupidity and lack of work ethic. A real owner of an establishment will never act the way he did towards me on the phone. I never complain when I go out to eat, but every once in a while there is a bad experience. This one was the last straw. I am never going back and i will make sure that my whole network of colleagues, friends, family, soldiers, tourists, etc. will never step foot into that establishment ever again. And all it took was 2 imbecilic people who do not care about customer service.

I have been coming here for years and the food and atmosphere is still the same. The food here is great and affordable. Lots of different drinks specials and plenty of TVs to watch any game you want or even UFC or big boxing matches. Staff is friendly and it has a warm neighborhoodly feel to it. If you are in the Plantation area it is a must try for relaxing local eat.
(4)W H.
Best wings in town!!! And $2.25 for a 25 ounce draft??? What??? No better place to watch UFC or any sporting event. Cool local sports bar where they really remember your name...and what you drink!

i been going to lubbers for a few years now, but the last few times i went it has'nt been the same, the food was'nt hot enough one time and when i was ther this time, everything seemed overcooked, and very oily, and the place seems very untidy. will not be back in the near future.
(2)Dante B.
I wouldn't typically admit that I eat at a place "like this," but Landlubber's is actually a very tasty, consistently good, friendly service, local family place that is worth going to for a simple lunch or dinner of great American fare. Sure, you're going to find your baseball, football, kickball, hockey, soccer, basketball teams in here after their high-school games, you're going to find it loaded with FPL, Comcast workers, cops, etc but there's a reason why they are all here. The specials board is now electronic, rolling across plasma tv screens in the main dining room - with specials updating, beer specials changing as they go. That's a nice touch. And the food, you say? Well, grab a seat in one of the booths or a table and pretty much point at anything on the ample (and I mean 4 full pages of 10-font plus the specials ample) and you'll be ok. How about some of the old stand-bys? A delmonico steak for $9.99? Wings for .60 cents apiece? $1.25 domestic beers? A great philly, smothered chicken or buffalo chicken sandwich? How about a great house or Caesar salad? Crab legs? Potato skins? (all here, and all good) In short, quality food, quality service, great environment to catch the game, a really decent price makes Landlubber's a neighborhood meeting place that won't break the bank. You're not going to get surprised with the special sauce here - you know what you're getting and will get it with a smile.

Landlubbers is my default "sports bar " to frequent when I want to catch a UFC or college football game. That's not a bad thing , they always come through with a bigger menu that you get at many sports bars. Their apps are pretty original from the corn fritter things to a pretty good fried calamari. They have an awesome variety of different flavored wings that are actually substantial (listen up Wingstop! (with their mini wings) ). They have a pretty good kielbasa with spicy mustard on their specials board sometimes....I suggest you get it. They have a lot of TVs so there is always a good view of the game, and the servers are very interesting in a funny good way . I guess i go here often so i may be burnt out on it a little so it may be closer to a 4 star. Oh yea almost forgot they have great beer specials too, so you can cry in to a $5 pitcher when your team loses.

Great place. Wings are awesome but I've tried a lot of items on their menu and have rarely been disappointed. Make sure to check out the specials.
