I've ordered twice from them now, and so far, so good. I recommend the garlic breadsticks; that's almost a meal by itself. Their pizza is pretty good too.

The food is always delivered fast and great, but tip tell the delivery driver not to let people open every tray to find their food, when the name is written in each box... There goes his tip.

We order it for the first time last Sunday. We made our order online, was the way we ordered it and was the time they said was going to take. The driver was nice. We love pizza on sundays!! We had a good experience :)

This is decent pizza for the price. Definitely no artisanal place, but it's good for quick pizza every once in a while when you feel like it. I have ordered a number of times from here. Never had a problem, and it was always piping hot. Usually it's ready within 15 minutes of you placing the call. If you want to have decent pizza pick it up right after it comes out of the oven and get it home ASAP. If you let it sit there, it might get soggy, and you might get a lukewarm pizza. 80% relative humidity tends to do that to something that is made out of dough. I'm comparing this place to similar class restaurants, and not a high end pizzeria. So compared to Pizza Hut, or Dominoes this is a pretty decent pizza. Don't compare it to a Zagat rated, three Michelin star joint. It won't be fair :) P.S. This place has VERY limited seating. It's best to take your pizza and eat at home :)

I ordered pick up twice from here recently. They have a large cheese or pepperoni pizza for $6.79 DEAL! The first time we ordered, the pizza was hot, fresh, and the garlic herb crust was phenomenal. The second time, we ordered the same pizza but it appeared they left off the flavor on the crust- something they advertise heavily so that was disappointing. However, we also ordered a Greek salad, which was large, fresh and tasty. Definitely a 3.5 with a chance to be upgraded if they were consistent. P.s. The 5% check in offer is not valid

It's good food, service, and prices. Plus, they accommodate my special instructions for my pizza, which, I will admit, I'm a weirdo about.

Let me start by saying I love Howie's pizza. The crust is suitably thin and still holds up to the toppings so you can hold a slice and eat it. The sauce is not too sweet (Papa John's) and not too full of dry herb flavor (Noid), just a light tomato flavor with a mild seasoning. Cheese is well-distributed and sufficient without needing to order extra. The flavored crust is also a great little lagniappe. PJ's can keep their banana pepper and horrible "garlic butter". The service at this location is fine. Pleasant people and they don't look at me like I have two heads when I ask that they don't cut my pizza. I like to cut it myself when I get home. I pick my pizza up at the store. They have a great carry-out special of a large (14") pizza with cheese or pepperoni for $5.95 plus tax. Howie's is less than a mile away, so I save time and money. I call, go get, it and am home in less than 20 minutes. I cut at home because the drive gives the cheese a chance to solidify a little so that when you cut it the slices are clean and you don't get the cheese pulling off at the center of the pie and slipping off. Try it. It is so much less of a mess. I do have to make a comment today though. Not really a complaint, but a "you gotta be kidding me" comment. Today is the last Friday of Lent. Being a Catholic, my family foregoes meat on those Friday's. Actually, during Lent, Howie's is almost always our dinner. We get a cheese pizza. Today, we decided to get a pie for lunch and I decided to get mushroom on half the pizza. The price was $7.86 with tax. They charged me $1.40 for mushrooms on half the pizza. I DIDN'T get the whole pie with Pepperoni (which would be $6.34 with tax) I substituted half mushroom instead. And they charged me for an extra topping. I asked about it when I got to the store, and was told with a straight face that that was correct. Plain or with pepperoni ONLY for the special. I just laughed and said ok, fine. I did however mention this: in the 80's, I was a manager of both Domino's and Marco's Pizza locations. We had similar specials. hell, ALL delivery pizza places do. But, we would have given ANY topping for the price if they didn't want pepperoni for some reason. A small thing, but I think it is a little ridiculous. It won't keep me from going there. I love the pizza. We almost always get the pepperoni. It's convenient. I am just now a little more well-informed, right? LOL Great pizza. Great carry-out special. They also have a great $4.99 lunch special with choice of an entree and a soda. Interestingly, one of the entree choices is a small pizza with one item. ANY item. Life is full of funny shit. Oh yeah... One other bonus to carry-out. Howie's is a member of the SpotOn network. Great little bonus for repeat customers of participating locations. You wave your card (or smartphone) at the terminal on premise and you add up points redeemable for free food. Nice.

The pizza here isn't all that great, but it isn't terrible either. Kinda like a happy medium between little caesars, and papa johns. I also believe we got 2 large pizzas for under 15 bucks! Totally inexpensive. Another great thing is that they offer flavored crusts for free. We chose the sesame crusted and garlic!

Solid pizza, decent prices, and they actually have a small pizza for just a couple bucks, which is good for lunch or for a solo diner. This location is take-out only with no dining area.

Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
