I'm really only giving Gianna's four stars because they have great customer service. Even their customers were nice. I watched the cashier help a customer out to her car with her order which absolutely amazed me and they even bothered to remember their customer's names. However, I was unfortunately less impressed with their food. I mean, don't get me wrong, of what I had, it was good, just not spectacular. I found a coupon in the mail yesterday for their pizza and so I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and some pasta fagioli soup. The slice of cheese was huge. Granted, I got mine to go, by the time I did eat it, it wasn't pizza perfection so I guess my opinion would not be too fair. I ordered the pasta fagioli soup because I had never had it but when I got to the soup, it was a minestrone. Accidents happen. The minestrone was okay...just not for me. All in all, I wouldn't mind returning to Gianna's but I haven't tasted anything I'd crave. My only big peeve was that my spoon was just put into the bag, and it wasn't wrapped or anything and I'm big on germs but that's just me.With that being said, the prices are good, the place seems clean and the food looks fresh.

The food was good but the service was horrible. Waited 15 minutes for the server to clean the table and take our order. My daughter ordered ravioli Alfredo and after waiting 45 minutes it showed up in red sauce. I had the mozzarella and mushroom burger, ordered plain, it showed up with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions and the cheese wasn't even melted. We never got the garlic rolls and drink refills were almost non existent. The food was tasty once they got the orders right, but dinner for two at this kind of restaurant shouldn't take 1.5 hours.

Great place to grab a quick bite for lunch or dinner. They have great pizza and garlic knots! And my favorite thing is that they serve Birch beer which is hard to find. Always good and friendly staff.

My first time here! The hubs had been raving about it and brought me tonight and OMG it is AWESOME!!!! Katelyn was our fabulous, sweet, friendly and very helpful waitress. The food is totally delicious....I had a caprese salad with an amazing balsamic glaze, and a personal pizza that, after debating about it....I ate it ALL!!!! The hubs had his pasta fagioli soup and his baked ziti which was perfectly hot for him...YEAY! I am SO glad the hubs insisted in coming here and, I am SO looking forward to many many more visits!!!! It's a casual and relaxed atmosphere, very homey and welcoming....if you're in the mood for delicious, simple, easy and totally awesome Italian food....Gianna's Pizzeria IS the place!!!

I've been here several times for the pizza, which was very good. No complaints. I suggest coming in for the budget-friendly lunch specials. This review is for their Philly cheesesteak. It was 100% absolutely amazing. I've been trying different cheesesteaks around town, but this place wins hands down! The meat was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. The bread was slightly toasted. So delicious! I'm definitely coming back soon -- maybe even tomorrow! Yum!!!

Cute... standard... some might say interchangeable. Casual neighborhood Italian-esq restaurants are a dime a dozen, and Gianna's is exactly what you would expect, if not a touch more laid back then comparable places. i.e. at lunch time you order/pay at the counter and then seat yourself, so it's not exactly waiter service. Pizza is served on paper plates, forks/knives are at the front for you to take yourself (although we were given silverware when our meals were brought out), we weren't give plates when the garlic roles were delivered to the table, etc. So Gianna's is definitely very laid back and casual... but very clean and place is cute, kept up nicely and the service was very friendly . Whatever is lacking in amenities is made up for with their wicked cheap prices. I ordered baked penne, served with 2 garlic roles, for $6.50. You can also get two slices of pizza and a drink for 5 bucks, and other inexpensive lunch deals. The garlic roles were great-- yummy crunchy outside but not too well done, and the inside was nice and soft. The baked penne was very good too and I had no complaints. There were tons of people coming in and out, for takeout and to eat-in, so they definitely do a good business, which is as good of a testament as any. The downside was that the lunch was pretty lengthy. I saw them banging out pizzas left and right, but it took a good while for our dishes to come. I work downtown which is only about a 10 minute drive east on Broward, but it took me an hour and 15 minutest in total from when I left to when i got back to the office.

Be prepared to wait for average food because the cook and cashier are heavy smokers and you'll find them out front on smoke breaks instead of inside taking orders or preparing food. If you don't mind having to make your way through a wall of cigarette smoke before you walk in and having to wait during their smoke breaks then this is the place for you!

This is probably the best pizza I've ever had! I love pizza. I am also EXTREMELY critical of all pizzas since I am a self-named pizza connoisseur. This place absolutely blew me away with how good it was. I just pulled into town after a long day driving and was just looking for a bite to eat. This place exceeded my expectations big time. I'm staying right near this place for the next month. I will be stopping in regularly. I had an original pizza with meatballs and pepperoni. Simply amazing. Love how they had someone tossing dough as well.

A little piece of Italy. Best pizza i ever had was in Sorrento, Italy, but this was the second best and reminded me of there. Got the Supreme and the thin crust and tomato paste were perfect. Also had a Philly cheesesteak with Provolone and it was pretty darn good. No cheese wiz available but overall it was very tasty with a fresh bread roll that was baked right there (i think). Also had a couple wings that were supposed to be medium but they seemed pretty hot and while good, i have had better. But if this place was in my neighborhood, id probably have their pizza once a week. Ambiance is nothing to write about, strip mall pizza shop. Service was fine too. This isnt a fancy place so dont go there expecting exceptional service and fantastic friday night ambiance, but just enjoy the flavors of their cuisine. Wish i lived closer!!!

Update: Opted to eat in the dining area again.. The speed has increased but the service is still somewhat poor. After the food came to the table, the waitress never checked back to see if I needed anything. A glass of water and a side of marinara would have been nice. A different waitress came to the table and took care of me. 4/5 Stars for the food/price 2/3 stars for the service. This has got to be the slowest service I've ever experienced. We have been waiting an hour for our food to come out. One hour is far to long to wait for food service and in that time the waitress has checked on us once. The food better taste like the best I've ever had because this wait is excessive. Will update review if the food ever arrives... Still upset about the wait but the food was good. I had a small meat Stromboli and my son had a small sausage pizza. I will eat here again but only 'to go'! I will never eat in the dining area again. $26 for both plates, two drinks, and 20% tip.

I've been going to their previous location for years and the pizza is my favorite. They recently moved to this new location and was in the mood for a chicken parm sub. It was a little over $8. And it tasted very good but the chicken is very thin, I don't mind paying that price but it should have more chicken at least double what it has. When you eat a sub for $8. And you're still hungry... That's a concern.... If they double the portion to make it at least filling, they would get 5 stars from me.

I recently moved to Plantation so I'm on a quest for the best Pizza and Italian takeout around! I read some Yelp reviews decided to give Gianna's a try. We ordered a large cheese pizza and also a side of eggplant parmesan because that's how I judge a good Italian restaurant. The pizza is average and not much to write home about and the eggplant was underwhelming. The side portion was small for $6.95 and really mushy. It was loaded with cheese, which I think was supposed to cover the mushiness?? Anthony's Eggplant Marino is still on the top of my list and although a bit pricier, it's a huge portion that tastes like eggplant!

Consistently amazing food. The calamari, spaghetti and meatballs, philly cheese steak, Caesar salad, and calzones are my favorites. Their marinara sauce is homemade and by far, the best marinara in town. I get that sauce with anything I order. The service is quick, friendly and efficient. Couldn't be happier with this neighborhood pizzeria. Will keep coming back for years to come.

This place is unbelievable! It's 10:39pm on a Friday, I just called to place an order, and they're telling me they're closed. After I pointed out that on every forum their restaurant turns up on it lists them as being open until 11pm, they basically said "yea, we're closed. Haven't been open at that time for a year." The girl was so rude! This place lacks customer service. I've ordered here before and loved it, but now the service sucks. I'm very disappointed with how this place has turned out. I'm a sucker for a local pizza joint, and Gianna's did not disappoint. Really friendly service, and great food. We started with the cheesy garlic bread, and I'm not sure what they do differently than anyone else, but it was awesome. My husband proclaimed it the best garlic bread he has ever had. My husband had the meat stromboli, and it was huge. The dough was great, perfectly cooked with just enough meat and cheese. He would definitely order it again. I had the eggplant rollatini pizza, which is way out of my comfort zone, but I loved it. It had thin, crispy breaded eggplant slices with dollops of ricotta, (and mozzarella of course), and chunks of tomatoes. If you are looking for something unique, this pizza is definitely a win. Visited Gianna's this eve and was extremely disappointed. Kaitlin, who is an awesome person and server was not working this eve. We sat at the table for at least 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us. After finally ordering we were eventually served dinner but our daughter was not! We continued to wait for her meal and finally decided to leave. While we were waiting our server spilled a beer on the floor at another table, cleaned it up with her hands and continued serving others! We had to leave after that! Service extremely disappointing. We paid for our drinks and enjoyed a great meal at CJ's.

I have to recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza !!! I had tried it from a friend who brought it over one time. After that I was hooked it has mozzarella and cheddar cheese with hamburger meat I believe sirloin with bacon crumbles. After they cook it the pizza they put lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on top. The Service has been good the few times I have been there and the restaurant is clean. Overall a good experience. I have yet to try anything else because the pizza is so unique you aren't going to find it let alone anywhere close.

My friends and I got takeout pizza from Gianna's. It was great! Of their specialty pizzas, we had their Supreme, Spinach Ricotta, and Greek. All of them were excellent. Unfortunately, we're out-of-towners, but if I lived in the area, I would certainly go back.

I'm still yet to find a pizza that can top Mario the Baker, but this was still pretty good. We ordered "to go". We had the baked ravioli with garlic bread and pasta fagioli soup, cheese pizza (with mushrooms on a small section of it - yum, they used fresh mushrooms), and the fire house burger with French fries. The ravioli was delicious - I'm picky about my baked pasta dishes and I enjoyed this a lot. The soup was okay - a little bland but people have different seasoning/salt preferences so that's understandable. The pizza was good - not better than Mario's, but wayyyy better than others - next time I will try the margherita pizza, as I really enjoy fresh mozzarella. The burger was quite good. My two complaints are that we ordered it well and it was cooked medium so we had to put that in the oven at home - my boyfriend doesn't care for medium burgers though I enjoy them that way. I could tell the fries were great too - but by the time we got home they weren't hot anymore, but definitely really good. We're really picky eaters - the place was very clean and the staff was polite. We will definitely eat/order from there again. I do wish they delivered though :(

This is a standard local pizza place. When it first opened, I was a huge fan, but since then it's been mediocre. I really enjoy their antipasto salad. Eggplant Rollatini pizza is a home run!

It's better than Anthony's cold fire pizza. Check it put. I got a salad but I tried the pizza, calzone, and fried ravioli. Everything was very good!

My friends and I got takeout pizza from Gianna's. It was great! Of their specialty pizzas, we had their Supreme, Spinach Ricotta, and Greek. All of them were excellent. Unfortunately, we're out-of-towners, but if I lived in the area, I would certainly go back.

I love this pizza! It's great tasting and the staff members are really nice! The place is nice as well and right around the corner from where I live. Awesome!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(2)Sloania H.

Met friends for dinner.....it was another wonderful meal and excellent service. We had Caitlyn, she is just the nicest. Many of their employees are! Liz is great on Saturday night's ordering pickup. Food is like a 2 for 1. 2 meals. How can you go wrong! Loved it, yet again!!!
(5)Dhaval S.
Hands down the closest thing to NY pizza you get down here in Ft. Lauderdale. Hard to find a seat, gets busy. Service is slow but worth it.
(5)Lazaro A.
My wife and I are always eating the pizza from here. This place has the best cheese pizza in Plantation period!!! The staff is friendly and amazing.
(5)Tatiana L.
Best pizza I have had in years! Do not order from anyone else! You will regret it! Also, the burgers are out of this world.
(5)Kendra G.

(1)Brian M.
Tasty pizza, the crust was a bit chewy and hard to get through but the rest of the pizza was yummy. Ordered the Francesco for myself and a Jr cheese for my daughter, who was a big fan also
(4)Robert S.
(5)Liana L.
Great pizza! & great chocolate cake too! The owners are from Italy & very nice and it's always fun talking to them, especially the main lady that works there :) their margarita and cheese pizza rock.

(5)Jerry B.
I'm from north jersey and very picky about pizza and sauce. This place has the best of both. They also have an awesome lunch special. I'm able to eat a sub with a slice of pizza and a soda for $8.00.
(5)Daniel P.
(4)Nicole V.
(2)Jeff H.
Ok is we tried the garlic bread it was not very good. Also we found not one but two flies in My wife's salad. As for the pizza the ingredients were not very fresh for a local gourmet pizza. They did have a few good selections of beer which was a life saver. Don't know if I would recommend or visit this place again.
(2)Kristy S.
(5)Rossandra J.
I doubt I'll be going back.
(1)Michelle N.
Overall, they are a great local choice with impressive food.
(4)Michael L.
Have gone here many times. The servers are friendly and remember my drink and salad preferences. The food has been good so far and for Florida, the pizza is excellent. One of the best pizza places outside of New York. The menu is varied and has reasonable prices. Large parking lot. Highly recommend trying this family restaurant.

I doubt I'll be going back.

Overall, they are a great local choice with impressive food.

Great pizza, great caesar salad, cheap bottled beer. The server was really nice and efficient. She tried very hard to steer us in the right direction and to make sure our kids were happy. We'll be back!

When I walked in this pizzeria it felt like I never left home. The pizza was mint!!!!!!!! I felt like a kid in Brooklyn again. Love the pizza,

This is a standard local pizza place. When it first opened, I was a huge fan, but since then it's been mediocre. I really enjoy their antipasto salad. Eggplant Rollatini pizza is a home run!

Awesome!
