Wow, what a diaster, man, yall let me down. Three people , food all served at different times and the meals that did come were incomplete or not prepared properly. Drinks were not mantianed, they were not packed at all. I love good ol' waffle house but today lived up to it's nickname Awful House.

There is something about making a road trip, Tampa to Orlando, that feels touristy and like you are on vacation. With me, all these trips seem to focus on getting started with one of those breakfasts that is just right. This time my choice was the Waffle House, which sometimes can be a crapshoot; however, this time when I rolled the dice, I came out a winner. Just like any other Waffle House, it is setup like a dinner with booths and chairs surrounded by windows with the kitchen being the center of attention. As I was travelling alone, I did not want to take up a booth so I started for the counter; then I realized, that being 5'4" my legs were going to get tired from setting a stool where my feet would not touch the ground. Fortunately, they had counter style seating with regular chairs that allowed me to sit comfortably. So far, I really liked my experience as there was; no waiting, fast service, and the tables were very clean. All the condiments were clean, not sticky, and filled ready for use. Even though the kitchen in these places is extremely busy appearing to be in chaos at times, the staff never once failed to offer a friendly hello and a smile. I was in the mood for basic breakfast, just eggs and bacon with a side of hash browns. The bacon really stood out with its crispy, savory, and salty flavor. However, it was not crispy where it broke apart and shattered into thousands of pieces. It was just crispy enough to let you crunch through to a chewy center filled with a wonderful savory bacon flavor. The eggs and hash browns were perfect nice, hot, and prepared as ordered. The hash browns were prepared with a crusty top with a tasty under layer of warm, soft potato shreds. With the buttered toast, this was exactly what I was expecting for breakfast. The only thing I would warn against is the sweet tea was so sweet that it would give you an immediate sugar high or potential sugar coma. I ordered my ice tea mixed, half-sweet and half-unsweet; and it was still overpowering.

Love this Waffle House! It's a clean restaurant and staff is very friendly. Always fast service and the prices are reasonable. The only con I can I can say is the following: I agree with one reviewer that the bottles/condiments on the table need to be cleaned.

While this chain is basically the same everywhere, I'm getting disgusted how none of the bottles on the tables get wiped off. They are so caked up with crap. This is wear all the bacteria live. I know they get very busy but these should be cleaned daily.

Great food. Great staff. Everything was perfect. My wife had never been and her first experience was awesome. Everyone was super friendly. We sat at the bar. Interacted with the cook. And our son even got to play a song on a radio. The food was delicious. Literally I can't say one bad thing about them.

Every time I ever been to Waffle house since I been down here they never can get my eggs right .. you can see that's why I stop coming alll together. i just gave up. I like them well done, a lil brown with cheese. and they did them right!!! I didn't even know they had an extended menu. Next time you go-ask for the extended menu with the omelettes on it. It was a slow day and we were the only ones in here but we had good service
