If you're a Tampa native, you know what a devil crab is. I use to have two places I loved to eat devil crabs. One place got too expensive and the other decided to make crab cakes instead (not as good). Linda's is my spot. Linda's is easy to find in historic downtown Plant City right. It's on US-92 and looks to be an old gas station. I've never eaten in at Linda's. Usually I'm passing through on my way home. The service is ok. Not overly friendly for someone ordering out but I'm ok with that. I've never come in and got my order as soon as I walk in. They fry the devil crabs to order. Once my brother and I ordered so many devil crabs for the family we got our own bottle of hot sauce... seriously. I've had their crab cakes but it was a little too done for me. They have more than devil crabs and crab cakes (some non-seafood related items but mostly seafood) but that's usually all I order when I'm here. If you're looking for terrific devil crabs, Linda's is it. Warning: Linda's is a cash only establishment

I am a frequent luncher here at Linda's. The Grouper sandwich is great, as are the made-in-house devil crabs. The portions are good, the environment is casual and comfortable. would recommend.

Easy to find using my Garmin. Fair amount of parking. Small, very casual interior (five booths and a couple larger tables). Still cash only. I chose the two item combo, steamed shrimp and Deviled Crab. The eight shrimp were large, studded with crab boil seeds, still in the shell - I liked these a lot, dipped in cocktail sauce. The crab were two footballs, larger than my fist - nice amount of shredded crab and onion inside, wrapped in deep fried breading. I've not had Deviled Crab before, so I didn't know what to dip it in - my waitress recommended mustard (her fav), but I found I prefered hot sauce. Combo came with two sides. I went with fried corn on the cob and corn fritters (yeah, it was one of those deep fried evenings!). The fried corn was crispy outside and sweet inside. I slathered it with margarine and salt. The fritters were delicous - little nuggets of breaded cream corn. I'd recommend that side because it's different and tasty. My bill with tip was $20. I'll return for the shrimp and corn fritters.

Very shabby interior to the point of looking and smelling dirty . Two in our party had steamed shrimp that had not been cleaned properly . Had to remove the mud veins. No spices & tasted very bland. Just plain dumpy.

Went here after the car show in Plant City. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our large party. I had the deviled crab, which was good. My son had the crab cake was full of crab meat. I would recommend this if you are looking for a casual lunch or dinner.

The food was lousy! Food was over cooked and tasteless. Very disappointing. We were staying in Sarasota and meet friends in Plant City. We wanted seafood so we chose Linda's. We will never go back. If you are looking for seafood in plant City, go elsewhere.

My first time eating deviled crab. I didn't care for it, but I might not be a good judge as I have nothing to compare it too. I was expecting a crab cake I guess. Husband had grouper tacos and thought they were good. Onion rings were good too. Very casual, good friendly service. I will go back and try the shrimp or a soft shell crab sandwich.

Thought this would be good based on other recommendations. $15.99 combo was two heavily battered crab fritters (shaped like little footballs they were bland and maybe not crab at all), 6 steamed shrimp (just ok) and 6 little bite sized corn fritters (undercooked). Not so good, will not go back. Staff was friendly but we were shocked when one of their customers brought their little dog out of their purse to sit at the table.

This is the worst seafood restaurant we have ever been to. Food took over 30 minutes ( they weren't even busy). Our grouper was under cooked and our fried shrimp and clams tasted like they came from a frozen box you can get in a grocery store. They have fast food quality that is not fast and at a gourmet price. We will not be returning to this restaurant again.

Best deviled crabs around, came all the way from Englewood, Fl to get some. They were wonderful as usual, but didn't get the crystal hot sauce, had to stop by Publix, then life was good Donna Rewis

2nd visit. Food is always good. Crab cakes were good. We like the fried grouper as well. Good lumch deals, dinner bit more expensive but food is plenty and shareable.

We were surprised Linda's didn't open until 11:30, being early eaters trying to avoid the business lunch crowd. So we showed at 11:40 and the place was packed and we had to park behind the business. Luckily we got the last booth. Fries & fish sandwiches, their deviled crab and the steamed crabs were all hopping out of the kitchen. We skipped the menu since we came in for one thing: steamed crabs. There was only one employee and a hometown crowd but she worked magic serving everyone's needs. We got a plate of blue crabs, 6 in Old Bay spice and 6 in garlic butter. They remove the backs, gills and mustard for you-nice!! The latter was stronger flavored but almost smotheringly so --and so greasy to shell. They were mixed sizes, 12 for $34-ish (market price). About 8 were males. They did not have the strength of flavor of the Maryland blue crabs (in meat or seasoning) but were nevertheless delicious. Nothing is served with them, while other places serve corn, cole slaw and/or hush puppies. We got a hush puppy side of about 8 for $3.50. We had plenty to keep us busy and fill us though. Our bill, 12 crabs, hush puppies, pitcher of beer (without tip) $51. She had some yummy strawberry walnut cake on the counter but we were "riched" out.

Although Linda's opens at 11:30, she saw us at the door at 11:00 and let us in early. We had the devil crab lunch with cole slaw (loved the added celery seeds!) and hush puppies. The devil crabs are huge - no one left hungry. Just good, solid hole-in-the-wall food with friendly, casual, down home service.
