I haven't been to a Firehouse Subs in a long time. I had the Bacon Ranch on wheat bread and it was great! The bread is soft and the turkey was nice and warm. I got extra cheese with no onion. Perfect. A pickle comes on the side; I'm a pickle lover and the pickles here are mediocre. The service wasn't horrible... The cashier was nice. The manager said the "F" word right in front of me, and then one of the team members who brought my sub out, gave me a pick up line. I was hungry and the sub was awesome. I will probably go to another location so I won't have to hear the employees curse ( which I do, a lot of people do, just not when I'm working, especially if there's a customer) and I won't have to hear pick up lines. I recommend the number 8.

Should have stopped at any other place nearby as Subway is even better than this. Slow service + bad sandwiches = no return visit.

Wondered why sandwich took so long, 10 seconds after l order my sandwich with no lettuce, the same genius who takes my order puts lettuce on my sandwich! Proceeds to cook it into the sandwich, then since l ordered it to go he just picked some of it off! Don't be in a hurry here!

I've never bad a bad meal at this location. Sometimes the wait can be long, but that's to be expected. The staff can sometimes be rushed, but other than that, good FS location.

I'm giving it two stars because I was really unhappy by the service. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, excited because I love firehouse subs. Ordered a firehouse hero and they gave me the wrong sandwich. I didn't care though because the sandwich they gave me was delicious and I didn't even notice it was wrong until a lady working there came over and asked to see my sandwich after I have already eaten it half way. She's like yeah I gave you the wrong sandwich and takes it from me without even asking if I want another or anything and she makes me the right sandwich. I was perfectly happy with the other one and was in a rush and the sandwich she brings back was sloppy and not as good. I was pretty upset. You don't take a sandwich away from someone without asking if it's okay. For reals -_- I think the one I got the first time had pastrami instead of roast beef. So good :( make me never want to go back to this one. Pretty bad service if you ask me. No one was really nice either in general. Such a shame.

Subs are expensive! $8.00+ for a combo meal. Many of the combos have 1000+ calories. They do have a 500 calorie menu. The key to a good sub is the quality of the bread and bread here was tasty.

No complaints here. Made the sandwich I ordered and it tasted good. The soda machine is becoming more and more standard in restaurants now and I expect it'll continue growing in popular culture.
Friendly service and good food. If you go on your birthday you get a FREE medium sub! Not many places are that generous anymore.

Waste of money. For the cost you pay and what you get is ridiculous. Go to subway, they have more options to offer and you get a bigger portion. This place is a highway robbery!!

I love the New York Steamer.. Corned beef and Pastrami covered with melted provolone, slathered in mayo, mustard and Italian dressing. The flavor dances in my mouth like Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman. To me, this is the best corned beef/pastrami sub in the entire TB area.

About 6 months ago I got a gift in the mail. It was a mailer that had 6 coupons for a free sub at Firehouse Subs. They all expired in about 10 days and I made sure to use every one. The subs tasted really good every single time - because they were free. Good food always tastes great when it's free. Last night was the first time I had ever paid for a sub at Firehouse. It's an interesting concept because basically it's just a simple extension from Quizno's and Subway but there are two differences. 1. You can't watch them make your sub - Firehouse is in total control. 2. If you eat in the restaurant they bring the sub out to you. (Which is great service compared to other sub chains). I also found it extremely interesting that they offered a variety of probably 50 different hot sauces up on the counter that you could grab and use on your sub. I am personally not a hot sauce guy and if I were going to use it I think the last place I would want to is on my sub. Especially since it already has oil and...read more at: greeneggsmarketing.com/2…

Firehouse has definitely become my favorite "sub shop". I love that their meatball sub contains REAL meatballs and not nasty frozen manufactured meatballs like some other sub shops. You can order it regular or "spicy" and I alternate between the two. Sometimes the "spicy" sauce can be a bit much. I once asked for half and half and they obliged me. I also really enjoy the smokehouse beef & brisket sub. It has the perfect combination of bbq sauce and cheese. Yum. My Husband prefers the Hook and Ladder. Honestly, I haven't really had anything that I don't like at Firehouse. They are also the first restaurant that I experienced the many flavored soda machine at. I like to get either orange or grape diet sprite or lemonade. It makes me feel like a kid again getting flavored syrup added to my drink. It's even better that I get to do it myself and it is unlimited. This particular location is always very friendly and fast. They have a drive-thru that I have used a few times and they have a decent-enough sized dining room with an outdoor dining area. Needless to say, I'll be back.

Firehouse subs is a good sandwich shop. They always try to greet you with a cheery welcome. The dining room is clean although kind of small. I think the only downside to the location is the placement of the 120 flavored soda machine (great idea with limits) which is located almost directly in a position that hinders the ordering line. This is inconvenient and confusing since people wanting refills wind up in the ordering line or those getting refills block the ordering line. Not to mention people seemed to find them confusing (almost like watching someone use an ATM for the first time) which takes more time and also backs up the line. I am not sure what this location could do about it because as mentioned above it is small. The good thing about Firehouse is their subs. My two favorites are the Hook & Ladder and the Steak & Cheese. The Hook & Ladder is a great sandwich that blends flavors that give a sweet and tangy sensation with its combination of smoked turkey, honey ham and cheese topped with mayo and deli mustard. Which is good combination by itself but when the onion kicks it there is an explosion of flavors. The Steak & Cheese has that meaty, sink your teeth in it sensation, topped with sautéed onions and bell peppers. This is a hearty sandwich that I find very satisfying. One addition I like to do with this is add A-1 Steak Sauce which really adds a nice zing. One thing that Firehouse offers that is kind of an "in your face" secret is they have a multitude of sauces (hot sauces, steak sauces, etc.) that are readily available for your selection. Definitely give this place a try. I think it is good for families and kids.
