I visited this restaurant for a quick late night meal. Ordered the picanha steak and the girafao burger. The food was pretty good but overall the portions were a little small. It was definitely nothing outstanding and fit the whole fast food vibe the restaurant was going for. The service was good the cashier was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly however. Overall, it was nothing that would keep me dying to go back to but I wouldn't mind giving it another shot.

First time here I tried the: Quinoa, greens & SALMON (romaine lettuce, tomatoes, small bruschetta & balsamic dressing) Second time: I'm going to try the quinoa, greens & chicken. The service here is friendly. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was bright and colorful. The music was not too loud. On Friday and Saturday they are open til midnight. Great if you work late. If you check in you get an order of Pao de Queijo. Basically small bread with cheese inside. Yumm.

Upon entering, my uncle and I thought it would be a good experience. As far as cleanliness, this place is clean and the staff patient with us first timers who spent about 15 minutes staring at the menu. They explained anything we didn't understand. We both got the Picana with rice, salad and fries. Now, I am a HUGE meat lover. I was excited for this brazilian food but was extremely disappointed when it arrived and I took my first bite. The rice was okay, the beans good, the salad fine and the fries were soggy and looked old (ew) Now onto the steak, it was way too cooked for me and it tasted plain and salty. It had no real flavor to it. It was just like any palomilla from your local cuban restaurant. Not even the chimi churi sauce helped it. It was nasty. We both decided we would never eat that again. It wasn't worth it. We're willing to give it another try but this time we'll go for the burgers. All in all, it sucked.

For the price I cant complain. But dont tell people its churrasco when its not. Churrasco is a particular cut from a particular part of the cow. The "churrasco" here is not churraso. The rice, beans, and salad were OK for $6.50. The girls at the counter could be friendlier. You know... customer service skills are a good idea.

Not that good, all the hype but it's just ok, some people not so friendly

Huge improvement over my last visit to Giraffas! I've always enjoyed Giraffas' food but the service was always a let-down. They definitely turned that around over the last couple of months since I reviewed them. My experience was top-notch from the moment that we walked in. Our order taker greeted us with a smile and helped us make choices, as well as answer questions about ingredients or sides that we weren't familiar with.

Great concept and great food. The Quinoa and Chicken Salad is recommended. The Brutus burger is recommended. If you order the burger, then make sure to order no warmer than medium. Otherwise, you will dry out the burger and the juices that are supposed to meld with the other ingredients will never come to be. You want that burger to drip! I wasn't a fan of the fries though. They were a little old and overly salted. I do like shoe string fries, but they are best when fried to order, not refried or sitting under a heat lamp. The Quinoa and Chicken Salad is very fresh and offers plenty of acidity. It makes my mouth water just thinking of it. Park on the roof for quicker access. You won't find any parking in the lot during lunch hour. Trust me...

Awesome experience & great family restaurant! The food was delicious and I felt no guilt about the kid's meals, the were nutritious and well balanced (good price too) The cheese bread is addictive, the Brutus burger filling and the stroganoff totally yummy. I highly recommend it. I'm only sorry we did not come sooner.

Huge change from 6 months ago. To the worst. The so advertised "picanha" is far away from being real picanha. Not even close! The entire menu changed for the worst, and the prices went up. Hence why this place used to be packed and now it looks like a ghost town. The quality went downhill also. The vinagrette portion was so small, i didnt even taste it in my food after mixing it with the rice. They will need to start serving the meat they advertise and improve quality before I come back here. Use to love this place, huge dissapointment!

Nice modern decor. A little loud to eat in. I love the food. My fave is the picanha with chimichurri, homemade fries, rice and beans. My hubby loves the Brutus burger. Good quality beef...well, Brazilians know how to make a great beef. Don't leave without trying the cheese bread. Friendly staff and fast service. Also good for take-out

Mr.manager keep your employees on check...:playing with their cellphones in front of customers is not a revenue creating concept...just bad customer dissatisfaction.it would be nice to come back and not see this again.

I went here around 12/2013 and forgot to write a review. Pretty good place. The food was good all around and the staff was friendly. Since I haven't been back since and nothing stood out as fantastic I gave them 4 stars. Stop in and try it for yourself.

Everybody knows you never go to a new restaurant on opening night, or even opening month, if you ask me. There's a whole lotta kinks that have to be worked out before things can run smoothly. For some reason I was under the impression this location had already been open for several months. It turns out Friday was actually their second day. Sure enough, the service was friendly, but even with a dining room maybe half full the kitchen fell behind; way behind. When the food finally arrived 40 mins. later I was in the process of asking for a refund. Luckily, I cancelled the refund because it's probably going to turn out to be the best meal I'm going to have in what's left of the year (not counting Thanksgiving and Nochebuena, of course). My picanha steak, flame-grilled to perfection, would've made any Gaucho proud. I've had a lot of picanha at that other over-priced Brazilian rodizio, and they couldn't hold a candle to this beauty. The $11.90 included 10oz of steak, three sides, and a sauce. The grilled vegetables were like buttah! And the quinoa I ordered gave me a chance to eat healthy AND sound worldly since WHO THE HELL ORDERS OR EVEN KNOWS WHAT QUINOA IS???? The farofa I'm not so sure I need to have again. The wife got the steak salad, which had enough meat to gag a hyena; and my son finished his cheeseburger and fries, which he never does anywhere else. All in all, a great meal. Sure, they have a ways to go to get it all working right, but with food this good and service this nice I'd go back even before then.

Amazing food, great bang for your buck. Happy medium between fast-food and a steakhouse. Filet mignon, side of veggies, and the french fries are delicious! It's my go-to. Also, the pan de queijo (or however its spelled) are a good appetizer while you wait for your meal.

Awesome burger!!!!!... I ordered a classic double burger with cheese, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo... Perfectly cooked...great flavor... It takes like heaven. Service was awesome. Really nice and accommodating people. The a/c was broken and when I mentioned to them how hot it was they imidiently tried to make things better and it was a pleasant experience. Price is really good. My huge burger was only $12. For 2 adults and a child it was about $37.... Very good for the amount and quality of the food. Will come again.

First time and last time there. Every steak my family ordered was tasteless and chewy. Yuck! On top of that, they ran out of mashed potatoes at 7:30pm! It's not like the place was full either! This guy kept yelling at the staff only for me to find out that it was a manager. Everyone could hear him. Unprofessional to say the least. Sorry for negative review but first impressions are everything!

I ordered picanha steak meal. Meat: medium rare but more close to "rare"; and I think the meat itself tastes bit of fringed; sides: quinoa, fresh and sour to me. interesting! mashed potato: ok green beans: ok! I think I won't visit this restaurant on a regular basis.

I always thought this place only had hamburgers, but it turns out they have a lot more than just that. I was brought here and it wasn't over packed which is a good thing. I like that you order at the front and then they bring your food to your table, that way it doesn't feel like your at some fancy -shamncy restaurant and you have to tip out a waiter. I ordered the chicken tips with mashed potatoes and rice and it was reeeeealllly good. The gravy sauce with the mushrooms over the chicken = delish! I will defenitly be coming back to try other dishes.

EXCELLENT RIBEYE STEAK and quinoa sald was delish as for the price excellent went on my hour lunch it was awesome. Would highly recomend it

I had very high expectations of this spot since trying one of their burgers @ The Grind earlier this year. Thankfully, my expectations were met. My husband and I came here @ his request on a random weekday evening. He's eaten @ their N. Miami location and raved about it. Since he's pickier than I am I had to trust him. In my attempt to stay fit and fab throughout this pregnancy situation, I ordered the filet tips kids meal with a side of grilled veggies (when all I really wanted was a big, greasy, cheesy, bacony burger with eggs!) and was blown away by how tasty and delicious - and suprisingly generously portioned (for $4.50!) - the meal was. The meal came with perfectly cooked white rice, a scoop of creamy homemade mashed potatoes, a salad, flavorful black beans and my veggies, which were awesome. My husband ordered a grilled chicken breast meal w/ salad, mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. I His also came with a side of their chimi sauce, which was phenomenal. Not too garlicky but loaded with every good flavor that belongs in chimi. This place is a total win - friendly service, clean, offering tasty "fast" food at very reasonable prices. We will be back... tomorrow. developed a strong aversion to chicken with the pregnancy but really enjoyed the chicken from here - it was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. So much so that that's what I've been craving for the past 2 days.

Went to lunch here today for the first time with my fiance since they opened up a location right by my house. This was actually their opening day and they did not disappoint. I ordered the sliced picanha 5oz and it came with a side of rice and beans and salad. My fiance got the larger 10oz portion with fries, quinoa, and salad. We also ordered a Pao de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) Total price came out to about $27 dollars with 2 drinks so price was pretty good. Food was brought out quickly and tasted great. Steak was seasoned and cooked well but the quinoa salad was by far the best! Since this was their opening day I could understand why the food and service was on point as the manager kept coming by our table to check up on us as well as other wait staff. I don't know how good this restaurant will fare as its situated in a strip mall with lots of food competition (EVOS, Miyakos, Apizza Brooklyn, Miss Saigon Bistro, Roasters Toasters just to name a few) but if they keep up what they are doing right now I think they will be ok. On a side note I just wanted to point out that they wont be serving beer for another month (I guess they are waiting for their beer license) I'll definitely come back again to try the burgers and quinoa salad. Keep up the good work Giraffas!

  • Jason K.

i honestly have nothing bad to say about Giraffas. They cooked my meat quickly and properly which i have to say is a shock in Miami. If you want fast and tasty food in Miami this is your place. its a tad pricey but you are paying for the convenience at this point

I really enjoyed the Brutus burger. It has an egg in it. It was glorious. I expected the yolk to be runny, but it was not. That was a teensy weensy little bit of a letdown. Other than that, the burger itself was well-cooked and an overall success in my belly. Fries were good. Atmosphere was the cutest. All those little giraffe touches here and there were precious. Service was very friendly! I think I would return. Maybe try a steak... yes...

My first time going to this restaurant was last week Wednesday and I loved the burger so much, that I went back that same week. Both times I ordered the single picanha burger with all the toppings (tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and pickles), bacon, gouda cheese, the giramayo sauce (chimi and mayo mixed together), and ordered it well done. The burger was pure perfection--juicy and well done-- and that giramayo sauce was amazing! It came with French fries which were pretty good and all for $8.30. As far as customer service, both times that I went the employees were very nice and helpful and the manager even offered us a sample of their chicken wing appetizer. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you order your food at the cash register, you receive a number and wait until the waiter brings the food to your table. There is plenty of parking and it's locating in a nice area of town.

As a first timer I was not happy about having to learn a menu with unfamiliar terms while standing in line and being asked if I was ready to order when I wasn't. Ordering wasn't easy either since I had to keep looking back at the menu hanging on the wall to remember which three sides or premium side or sauce I wanted. I thought this was a sit down service restaurant so the hefty price tag for two adults and two kids was a shocker. We sat down and had to move 3 times because it was either too cold, the oddly shaped table was too uncomfortable or the table was dirty. One review here said the place was clean. Sorry, but the floor looked like it hadn't been swept all day. Not a great start but when we got our food things got better. My picky daughter ate up her grilled chicken and said her rice was the best ever. I have to agree about the rice but the black beans were sorry-- like they opened a can and warmed them up. My son had great cheese burger but didn't like his side salad which he described as dry and warm. My wife loved her steak which was perfectly cooked to medium, grilled veggies, quinoa salad and mashed potatoes. I went with the grilled salmon. I have to say it was a nice portion size, nicely grilled and not dried out. I also had the excellent quinoa salad and grilled veggies. Next time I will pass on the farofa. It was like sand, basically. Maybe I was eating it the wrong way or something. I asked the cashier for a sauce recommendation to complement my salmon and the recommendation was way off. The food is good which is what counts so I'll probably be back.

Picanha, farofa, pão de queixo and you spend the same in Macdonald's.

After reading the good reviews i decided to give this place a shot. I tried the picagna burger. It was very well done, actually it was delicious, but i was not surprised with their special sauce or however they call it. Don't get me wrong, for some people i'm sure it will be amazing, but it just wasn't for me. When i got there around 7 p.m the place was empty, almost dead but by the time i left it was really packed. I will look forward to going back to this place for sure

Food was excellent as usual. Although this time after we ordered we were told at our table that there were no beans and if we chose to wait for them it would be 15 minutes. Since we were eating with kids, we would be there that long anyways, so we waited. After a few minutes, we were told that it was going to be more like 45 minutes. In their defense they offered us any other side, but well run restaurants don't run out of simple standards such as beans with rice. That was surprisingly disappointing. Otherwise, food was great and fresh. Good family place-good value. I would go back, hopefully they are better stocked next time.

I was very disappointed... The food took forever, it was cold when it arrived at our table, the pork rib eye was under cooked, the black beans were very watery and bland and the sauce I requested was missing. The only good thing is the manager was nice enough to bring another burger for my daughter. We will not go back there again and do not recommend it.

Best grilled food joint in the kendall/pinecrest area. The picagna cut is delicious and the menu has a wide selection of great side orders. Staff was very helpful and offered taste samples for things in the menu I didn't know about. Great price for great food.

I am so sorry Giraffas I really wanted us to work out.... you so fresh and so clean!. Loved the colorful decor, cleanliness, and half way open kitchen at this place. Like we always do (I pick a new place to eat so I can yelp it) I picked a place based on star rating , hunger, and food preference. The young lady at the register couldn't have been more nice and patient with us. She made sure I liked what I was ordering by allow us to try small samples, explained the menu, made suggestions, and didn't hurry us at all. I felt bad for the people behind us because we took forever to order. So far so good hu, so you are asking yourself why the 2 stars right??? I ordered the pichana (sorry if I didn't spell it right) steak medium cooked with the quinoa, salad,, and grilled veggies. Salad was just a spring mix no biggie but it was fresh. Quinoa and grilled veggies were yummy. Steak ..... ay ay ay not so good. It was way over cooked, had to push down hard on the steak knife to be able to cut into it, and edges were really fatty, it was frustrating lol I was starving. I am a huuuuuuge steak fan so I was really looking forward to this place. Besides the fact that it was overcooked it just had a really weird taste. It almost tasted raw. Like other reviewers said: the chimi churri sauce couldn't even help it. My husband ordered a burger and to my surprise the burger was better than the steak. However I wouldn't come here just for the burger. If I come back I would stay away from the Pichana and go for the sirloin. And don't forget to ask for a side order of pao de queijo , it's free if you check in from the yelp app ! :) .

Biting into a Giraffa's burger is a world of flavors. I usually get the chipotle sauce and guda cheese to compliment and I like the combination. French fries are included with your burger but are on the extra greasy side. On a second visit i tried the chicken breast. It was small and dry not much to it. My friend had the picanha and said it was a good.

Quinoa shrimp salad is the rave ! Picked up lunch today in under 5 mins . Girl at the register greeted me with a smile and immediately knew what I ordered . Could be a little less pricey for lunch but u get what u pay for Suggestion: start a lunch special if u already don't have one

Pros: In Miami for a medical conference. My coworkers and I wanted to eat lunch at the Mediterranean place, but the wait for a table was too long. This really clean looking restaurant looked like the service was going to be fast. Cheese bread good. I should have ordered a hamburger; which my coworkers enjoyed. Cons: Saw a lovely promotion picture for a salad and ordered it. Quinoa shrimp salad overpriced. I didn't think it was going to be that expensive. I had to pay for the salad and then extra for the shrimp.

  • Sonia A.

Crystal was very nice and provided excellent service with a smile! I had the NY strip steak it was very tasty! Also the black beans and side salad. Everything was delicious! The salad dressings were amazing too! I am really diggin the feeling of real-dinner- like- I'm- sitting- at- home- meal! The pao de queijo or cheese bread is heavenly and I believe you can get it free on Mondays or Tuesdays. Will definitely be back to try other menu items! : )

Place was empty. That was a bad sign .I usually rely upon yelp when I'm hungry. Food looked good from other yelpers.i had the pica nah .not good the meat had no flavor it was bland so was the rice and mashed potatoes. It looked like that meat you buy in walmart with the grill marks on it they just reheat it.it was tough nothing like Texas de Brazil. I do not recommend it.i will not be eating here again

I don't usually Review Fast Food Places, but Giraffas is very different compared to most Fast Food Services, in terms of Quality of Food, Location, and Service. There are only two locations here in South Florida that I know of. Here and The New one on Flagler. Giraffas is Excellent and everyone should get the chance to try it out should they happen to come across it. There aren't too many Brazilian Restaurants I can name off the top of my head, so a place like this really intrigued me. You order at a Cashier and then get a Beeper that never rings, but Has a Number to Signal your order to the waiters. When your food is ready (which takes less than 10 minutes), they will bring the food to your table. In terms of food, EVERYBODY should try out the Brutus Burger with Seasoned Fries. A memorable dish that leaves you wanting more. And when you want more, you're in luck. Dessert here is excellent with Chocolate Fudge bites and Cheesecakes. You won't be in this place very long, so it's perfect for a Lunch Break from Work. Only flaw I can name is that the Food can get a little pricey, but I can get over that as soon as I can taste how healthy all of their Dishes are. I like this place, and you will too.

I can't say enough about The quality of food at this restaurant. Besides it being absolutely delicious and healthy the service is great. I had the salmon and I had a really nice flavor and was very lean. My husband ordered the steak and although it did come a little bit well done, the manager quickly fixed it by giving us not one but two free entrées for the next visit. Emily was a sweetheart and really believes and good customer service. Definitely a good spot for a casual dinner.

Decided to try this location after regular visits to the Midtown and Doral ones. Food quality and service is consistent with other locations I've been to. We got a free Dulce de Leche cheesecake for checking in on Yelp. I'm not a bif DDL fan but this was pretty good. It's a little bit of DDL poured on top of the cheesecake. So, if you're not a fan you could probably scrape it off or give to someone else. Overall, I'm a regular at this chain. Tasty food, good portions.

I came here with a friend for lunch. I had seen the place on travel channel on a show featuring fast food from the Latin Americasand how they tailor their fast food menus to their populations. This place came out for it's Brazilian twist of American Hamburgers. It's a fast casual place like Chili's two where your order at the counter, take a number, and they bring it to your table. I had the Galo De Braso which i can assume means chicken sandwich in Portuguese and I also got a free order of cheese bread for checking in on yelp. The food is well presented on a heavy rectangular plate which almost makes you forget that you are in a fast food place. Despite it's looks the food wasn't that great. The chicken sandwich was just regular chicken sandwich with ham, a fried egg, and bacon on top. I actually found the toppings overwhelming and killed the taste of the chicken. I would rather have pollo tropical to be honest. The cheese bread was straight but it needed a dipping sauce. Next time I go I'll try the steak because those looked more appetizing and I'm sure that's what they are known for, not their chicken sandwiches. I will update if I ever come back .

Very disappointed. This place was great when we were here last year. This time they were out of almost everything on the menu and didn't tell us until after we were seated and had paid. We ordered wine (because they were also out of beer) and received two dirty glasses that had to be sent back. The menu was different too. Not very Brazilian. Won't be back.

The bruto burger was delicious!! They also have a very good kids menu with healthy choices. When you come in the restaurant you first order and pay like a PeiWei then you take your number pick a table and they will bring the food to you. i will be returning the food was good and the place clean .

I tried out the midtown location about 2 years ago...i was hooked. The food was so good. Then, i noticed these all over the place. On my first few visits, i tried the pinacha ( steak) and loved it because you can't beat the price point and the amount of food you get. But, i find it to be a little too fatty for my liking. You get to pick from 3 side dishes and i suggest getting their quinoa. It's very good. I occasionally just get that to go. Try their chimicurri dressing! Most recently, i have tried their salmon and am not ashamed to say that i've ordered that to go consecutively for 3 days. Its so good and portions are huge. The service is fast, 15 minutes tops but bring a sweater because its always cold at this location.

Excellent burgers. ! Kids meals are great!! Walking towards 5 guys, (which is literally next door) this place caught our eye. We looked through the window and glanced at the window sing which showed their kids menu. (Rice beans grilled chicken & mash ) which my baby loves! So we were sold. Once inside the place is nicely put together . They have much more than burgers but that's what we had and they were so juicy !!! Would love to come back

Ehh. The best way I can describe this place is like a modern/fancy Chicken Kitchen restaurant. You stand in line to order your food (like at any fast food place). Then you take a number, sit, and wait for your food. I must say that their customer service is great! They're very nice and pleasant. The food, however, is not worth the price. Your plate will come out to $20.00+ and it won't be the Churrasco you expected. The meat didn't have much flavor, but the sides were pretty good. I hate to say I won't be coming here again, but it was nice to try something new!

After church our friends suggested we go to Giraffas for lunch. We were a group of six adults and eight children. We were able to call ahead and "reserve" a table for all of us. The ordering was straight forward. The digital menu was a nice touch and the images helped with the selection process. The waitress was very gracious and took her time explaining out options. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious and well laid out. Seats are comfortable and upholstered in a nice, clean vinyl in bright cheery colors. Self serve counter was stocked, clean and organized. The food itself was okay. We had a good mix of burgers, steak, rice and beans, etc... The fries were okay, not as good as McDonald's but okay. The burger was comparable to five guys but with exotic lettuce and Gouda cheese which was a nice touch. Of all the things I say I like the little cheese bread the best. Overall three stars for food and almost a four star for good service. If Yelp had a half star system would give this place 3 1/2 stars. Did not try any of the desert so can't comment there. One thing I will say is that the food was very affordable. The five members on my check eight for a total of $59. Which for lunch is pretty cheap.

I came to this place during my lunch hour and i regret it. To start we are on limited time and the area has many offices so i think they should be a little more prepared for lunch time rush. There was one girl on the register, 2 people in the kitchen, and 1 girl running the plates. We asked if the food would take long because a lot of people without food and they told us no maybe at most 10 minutes. 30 minutes later we still did not have our food. We waited and waited, even people who came after us got their food first. We ran out of time and had to take our lunch to go. Really sad because the food isn't bad, but i don't think ill return.

I've been eating picanha ever since I could chew, and so coming in, I was excited to give this place a shot. Staff was friendly and helpful to a first timer. I ordered the picanha with rice & beans. The food was alright. Nothing to rave home about. My mom's cooking could literally put this place to shame. Ha! Anyway, I think next time I'll give the burger a shot since I heard great things about it.

Recently went here to grab a bite to eat. The food was alright, but the service was fake. The girl at the cash register couldn't offer an honest smile to us. I thought she was about to take my order but told me to wait because she wasn't finished in the rudest tone. Maybe she was having a bad day and honest to god I hope it got better. The only nice person I encountered was the girl picking up the tables who had a genuine smile on her.

I've Been here a couple of times. Food is great. Service is Getting better every time. The first 2 times I came here the waitress was horrible... I don't know if she had something against me or what. By the time my food came it was Luke warm and when I asked about my dessert she simply made an ugly face turned around and walked back to get it. After eating, I immediately asked for the manager to let him know of this issue. He apologized and gave me a free dessert for next time and also said he would take care of it. I told the manager, "I'm sure you will agree with me on this. When customers go out to eat and they pay for food and service, they expect to have a good time. We shouldn't have to worry if a few of their staff are going to give us a difficult time." The other times, service was on point. From the waiters, I don't have any complaints, it was always the waitresses... I'm glad that's over with!

Great flame grilled burgers, steaks and chicken breasts, accompanying sauces are delicious like the Siracha mayo, and the fries are crispy non-greasy. Best of all the customer service is outstanding.

Extremely happy with our visit. The food, staff and ambiance was great! Food: Both my partner and I had the picanha. He had it at first with the Brazilian Vinaigrette and then the Chimichurri sauce alongside rice, black beans and franha? (I can't remember what it was called). I had the picanha with Garlic Butter and quinoa salad, black beans and franha. The picanha was tasty and the pieces were pretty big, definitely more than enough. The quinoa salad was refreshing, I highly recommend it! The franha and black beans were good. We both believe that the garlic butter complimented the picanha the best. The portions are quite big.. I had leftovers. No complaints :p Staff: Everyone was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The cashier went out of her way to explain to us every bit of the menu and even give us recommendations. She also checked on us to see how we were doing after we received our meals. The manager also passed by our table to see how we were doing. Ambiance: it's a cute place! Very colorful and bright. They have regular seats and booths which is nice as it accommodates to all preferences but their regular seats are quite comfortable! The restaurant was very clean and tables were bussed quickly. My partner already said that we'd be returning soon. He loved it and so did I! We hope the food and staff remain consistent and continue to do great work.

The decor is very cute and inviting. It's like a fast food location so don't expect a white tablecloth! You order before at the register and get a number and sit down. They bring out the food to you when it is ready. The meat can be quite fatty but the pan de queso is so good and the best thing on the menu. The fries are okay but when they came out they were a little cold.

Giraffas has stepped it up a bit. They reached out to me after the poor experience and they delivered nicely this time. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service very good and friendly. Great place for families. I'd check them out again.

i was not impressed with Giraffas. to be fair, it was a Monday afternoon. a time when there might not be much going on, but still...the place was empty. we were 1 of 2 people there and maybe that in itself should have been a sign. i had the 5 oz picanha that came accompanied with white rice, black beans and a salad. the meat tasted OLD. i drowned it in chimichurri sauce so it could be edible. i was so hungry i didn't bother mentioning it to the staff. one visit was enough for me to know that i won't be coming back.

this was definitely a nice surprise. brazilian food without the drama... order your favorite cut and pick up to 3 sides and customize your entree. they also server burgers and salads. they even have a kids menu and the cheese burger option was a nice size portion as well. the dining area is surprisingly big and is actually very comfy. you order and pay. pick a table and put up your number and when the food is ready they bring it out to your table! there is soda station and a condiment station right next to each other. as for hot sauce options, it seriously lacks in that department but the food is actually pretty well seasoned so it was a pleasant experience all around nothing exciting bout the restrooms but do note that it is a single stall so on a busy night, there may be a line... looks like this will be my go-to place when i have a craving for a picanha steak.

If you want a great meal for a great deal, this is the place to come. Their desserts are also amazing. Definitely a must!

I absolutely love this place. Amazing churrasco, great quality meat, great sides. Beans have amazing flavor but a little watered down. And the dessert is to die for. I love the chocolate cake with coconut ice cream. Definitely going back!

Preface: i have issues with order, pay and take your number places.... Came here for post valentine's lunch. BF and I had the steak, which comes with 3 sides. I had the farroa which is like toasted seasoned bread crumbs with bits of bacon love in it. I thought it was great with a side of beans. We also used the free dessert coupon via the yelp check in and had the coconut lime molten cake thing. I thought it was a bit outside the box and enjoyed that too. Here is my issue- Yes we had steak (5oz) but we didnt have someone constantly refilling our beverages, we didnt order appetizers, we had a free dessert and we paid the same amount for a meal we would have at a sit down restaurant pre-tip. I have issues with do it yourself places (drinks, silverware, condiments, napkins) and having to pay almost the same as sit and be served places. Not to mention you never know and no one ever explains how to order dessert. You order it with your meal in the beginning and they right after they bring your food, you tell them to wait on the dessert and they forget you exist if they take your number. Long story short: if you dont mind paying the same as a sit down meal this place is awesome! If you order dessert order it separately but put it on the same number. They will hold the dessert for this number till you are ready, just be prepared to hunt someone down to get it for you when you're ready.

I think people come here with the wrong mentality...this is not a gourmet restaurant. To me, Giraffa's is good simple eats. Good quality and a clean enviornment. I had the salmon with quinoa and roasted vegetables. The salmon was cooked nicely, not dry and it came with a yummy butter sauce. The quinoa was also delicious (served cold). It's a good spot when you want to grab a healthy bite and not pay restaurant prices...I like it.

Attempted to try this place for lunch today. Lights on & doors locked. No answer to call. No explanation to why they are not open. Place always looked empty in the past, even though neighboring restaurants packed. Don't think I will try this place again.

We were in the neighborhood and looking for some grub. In this strip mall alone, you can go on a world tour of food... Similar to Epcot but with less walking. Here you can Italian, Greek, Vietnamese, Japanese, Brazilian, French Pastries and some others oh, and 5 Guys. We chose to try Giraffas for some steak. First impressions? The place is light, bright and very clean. The order taker dude was very patient with us first timers and explained items that we were not familiar with. We ordered the 10oz Picanha with mash taters, rice and black beans. Whoo hoo! Double starch. We also ordered a burger with fries. Oh, plus with my Yelp check-in we got some cheese bread. Score! The cheese bread came out right away and the rolls were warm and yummy. Our food came out shortly after. The picanha came out cooked as ordered, but it was bland. I mean, no taste at all. Which has never been my experience with picanha at Fogo. The saving grace was the Maitre D' Butter. The mash taters were the complete opposite though. The taters were very salty. The rice was good but I did not care for the beans. Now, the burger was delicious! It was cooked as ordered. The bacon was crisp and their Giramayo was very yummy. The fries, however, were very salty too. We will probably return for the burgers, but I am not quite convinced by the steak.

Ok, I've been to this place twice cause I needed to get a good fix on it. The first thing that jumps out is the atmosphere. You order at the counter and get a number to take to your table where your food will be brought out to you so its not fast food but you also are not dealing with a waiter. The atmosphere was what I didn't really like. There were a lot of families, which is ok, but it was really loud. As for the food, the first night, I had the double burger with ham and their special sauce. It was really good. Perfectly cooked. The fries were also really good too. The issue here was that the whole meal was $15 which is a bit high in my opinion, especially when you have Five Guys right next door. The second day I had the spaghetti with filet tips and stroganoff sauce. Everything was well cooked but the sauce wasn't really what I'm used to when I have stroganoff so I was a bit disappointed. Overall, its an ok place. I guess it depends on what you are in the mood for.

I went there with my granddaughters one afternoon and had a very nice meal. The kids meals are a great deal and not the usual fast food fare. I actually liked the silly face made out of vegetables on their plate:) My picahna (sp?) steak was delicious with plenty of tasty sides. The kids meals were delicious and the ambiance was delightful. I especially liked the older couple who clapped as my granddaughter danced around my table:) All in all, I'd love to go back and try some of their burgers. I saw many satisfied customers chomping down on some big juicy burgers all around me!

Been here only once and not coming back. The food looked very nice on the plate. Nicely presented, but it did not taste good. The steak tasted burnt grill, the green salad tasted like dirt and everything was cold. Even the cheese rolls were cold and I went at 12 in the afternoon. You would think the food would be better around opening time at least. Nope! The only thing that I can say was good, was the service very friendly.

Way too expensive for the quality. The stroganoff isn't that great. I've had better. Wouldn't go back. Cute location, good music, food is whatever, and overpriced.

Great atmosphere with EXCELLENT service. The employees here were friendly and very helpful. They served food to our table and cleaned up just like in a full-service restaurant! Food was really high quality and inexpensive. Highly recommended.

Food was good, I'm not that much amazed. Service was very slow with an indifferent attitude. Probably because there are a lot of people during my time here. The meals are a bit expensive so prepare to hold extra cash on your wallet.

My husband and I used Groupon and dined in. With the high review on yelp, I was expecting a better experience, but it was very disappointing. We ordered a burger and Shrimp Maqueca. We ordered burger to be cooked medium, but it came out well done, and the shrimp dish had far less gravy than the menu photo. I made a comparison photo and uploaded it. We would never go back to that place even with another Groupon.
