I was extremely disappointed in this place. I had very high hopes when I first went there. The bar has a huge selection, and the food is cheap and satisfying. But the service is just absolutely terrible. Every waitress at woodshed is completely incompetent. I've been here twice and all I hear is excuses from the staff for this or that. The manager was extremely rude when we attempted to confront him about a mistake in our food order, and was overheard by my table multiple times degrading the waitresses and treating them like children (granted, that is how they behave). As much as I like the bar and the food, I will not be returning nor do I advise anyone to eat here until there is a complete overhaul of their servers and an attitude check for their manager. I'm sure there are plenty of other bar and grills out there in pensacola that don't need a "yelp deal" to have returning customers.

Food was fair, service was average. But let me tell you about the bar!! Ordered a capt and coke, when the drink arrived I said this is not Capt and coke, the waitress said "oh yea we ran out of Captain Morgan so we gave you Jack Coke". I said well give me a Crown Apple, in a plastic cup. I won't be going back.

This place has gone through a lot of changes. I would have given it four or five stars back in 2012. I think the management has changed at least once since then. At some point all the waitresses I knew disappeared. I saw them at other places since, and some spoke of how it began to suck to work there. The food quality dropped big time, but has come back up mostly; its typical bar food, not rocket surgery. The wings are quite good; burger & fries etc. are hard to screw up. Pizza is ok, if unremarkable. They have some good specials. But the one thing thing that went downhill and stayed there is the beer. They have like a hundred taps, a big selling point for a craft beer aficionado like me. Unfortunately the people working there now don't seem to know how to maintain them. More often than not when I get a draught it has an odd taste, like its stale or oxidized because they leave it in there too long. Or maybe I'm tasting whatever they clean the lines with. I don't get sick, so it's not a bacterial contamination. I'm a home brewer, but I bottle so I am no expert on tap maintenance; maybe someone who is could identify the problem. In the mean time, I suggest that if you do go there you ask for a little sample cup first. Or bottled beer, if you can afford it.

Well, unfortunately, this is going to be a low star review too. I went here because I had heard they have good food, so myself and 2 coworkers came here for lunch. We arrived at roughly 11:00, and Woodshed had just opened-so there were VERY few patrons inside. Our waitress seated us immediately, and got our drink order. She did bring it out quickly and proceeded to take our lunch order. I wanted to substitute some things off the $5 lunch menu, but apparently they're incapable of doing that. I have some dietary restrictions-and I even offered to pay more for what I wanted. The waitress went and asked her boss-and came back and said "no go". Fine. I'll get your $5, non-substitutional lunch AND the thing I wanted to substitute as another side. (And it's not like it was something hard-I just wanted the 2 tenders and fries-but sweet potato fries instead). One of my coworkers' food came out 20 minutes later. She had ordered the cheese sticks. Being polite, she waited until we got our food. Another THIRTY minutes later. (If you work on the base and only get a 30 minute lunch-better skip this place). By this time her cheese sticks were cold and hardened-and I was just about ready to just tell the waitress to put my stuff in a to go box. It was about 11:50 by this time. The 2 "tenders" I got were a LOT smaller than I anticipated, and they were overcooked and slightly hard. But I guess better overcooked than under, right?? When I got my food, I took the basket with the regular fries in it, dumped the fries in a small to-go box, and then transferred the sweet potato fries to my basket. How hard was that? Took 5 seconds to "substitute". The food was okay I guess-my one coworker said that while his burger was small, that it was good. The atmosphere is definitely a sports bar, and they've tried to make it look good with all the antique style tin beer signs hanging everywhere. There are a lot of TVs, a long bar, lots of tables and chairs, and outdoor seating. I did not use the bathroom here so I can't comment on that. I see that the owner, Rachel H. has commented on here a lot as well, asking for suggestions and apologizing profusely. Well, Rachel-my suggestions are this: How about instead of always apologizing, you offer an incentive to come back and try you out one more time-like, maybe a free appetizer? Or 15% off your tab next time? Give people a reason to want to come back, Rachel-instead of just "oh, sorry". Train your wait staff to get the lead out of their asses and get some hustle in their step and actually act like they want to be there. Your cook staff too. Stop being so stern about your "no substitutions" rule on your lunch menu-oh-and on that note-don't advertise your lunch menu as being $5, when really you charge $5.95 for the entrée! Get your wait staff some better outfits. Twice I looked up while eating to see booty shorts on women that probably shouldn't be wearing them. Thanks for ruining my appetite because of ass cheeks and cellulite hanging out. This is a restaurant-not a slumhouse. Lastly-have you ever seen the show "Bar Rescue" with John Taffer? If not-I suggest you look up some episodes on YouTube and take a couple of pages from his book. Your menu is all over the place, you falsely advertise things like "100 beers on tap" and "$5.00 Lunch specials" but don't follow through with those offers. You also don't accept the online coupons from Yelp-so why are they on there? Remove them! And you may want to review the prices you are charging again. People give you bad reviews and are repeating the same things over and over again. So if you still haven't fixed or changes what people are complaining about-you're constantly going to get your "one time suckers" who will try it, and then never come back. I see you have a few loyalists-so that's good, but a few loyalists aren't going to keep your business afloat. Time to wake up, Rachel and Woodshed. You just went through a big interior renovation-now it's time to renovate yourselves! PS-I most likely won't be coming back.

I walked in and sat on the side of the bar and it took about 10 minutes to figure their were 2 people siting at the bar. The bartender quick realized that she for got to notice us and asked if we wanted a beer. She came back with the beer and asked my buddy if he wanted to order. He placed his order and never bothered to ask me. She came back with his burger and my buddy said" he wants to order something. I told her I wanted mozzarella sticks and a burger. Not even 5 minutes she came back with cold cheese sticks. Another 2 or 3 minutes went by and she brought a burger that was separated in the basket. Across the top od the cheese was a big black hair and I instantly sent it back. The manager walks over and said yo, you want another? I said no and he didn't even offer to pay for my cold mozzarella sticks. I left and went next door to Wendy's and got a awesome burger. if you ever watch the TV show Bar Rescue, John Taffer would be yelling. The dirt and grime was everywhere in the corners of the place and it was disgusting. Please stay away and don't ever go there.!

Upon first impression we assumed this place might be our kind of place... The wall of taps supported that conclusion. All of the hope we had for our experience was soon lost when we met our waitress doped out on pills. After listening to some diatribe about some drunken tattoo experience in mobile and reminding her 5 times the beer I wanted to try, 20 minutes I learned that they didn't have the beer I wanted. Did our crank-head server point me to a beer list? Of course not... I had to get up to fight past the patrons sitting at the bar to inspect each beer tap. Frustrated I flagged down another girl to inform her of my beer choice. Our experience with the food left plenty more to be desired. My 17 dollar pizza was on par with a Red Baron I could purchase and would have taken less time to actually receive pulling it from a microwave oven. Suffice to say, there is a reason the Hardee's, which shares the same parking lot has more traffic.

I wish this place was closer to where I live, so I'd be here all the time. I know it advertises 100 beers on tap I didn't count 100 however they do have a substantial amount for any beer lover. The place isn't really aesthetically appeasing it's kind of a dump however it's a very comfortable dump. The woodshed has TVs everywhere so you're going to get a view of everything. Also, the owner puts on pay-per-view sports on these TVs and there is no cover charge when coming into the woodshed. This is a bar food type of place, why because it's a bar. So expect to get barfood you're not getting anything fancy. they specialize in their chicken wings and they had very, very good chicken wings. They also specialize in their hot sauces and when the waitress told me oh that was hot. That was really, really hot. I ordered the can I have a glass of water chicken wings I love heat these were slightly over my love of heat. And these were the second rated highest hot wings to have after the can I have a glass of water it got hotter and progressively hottest. so if you're not a big fan of super hot I would just get the regular hot chicken wings I imagine they're very tasty. I also ordered the garlic Parmesan chicken wings extra crispy they were excellent I get them again and again. You can get beer via the draft or you can get the seven beer tub which is really cool. It's a tube that holds seven beers and they put a cold steel rod down the center of it to keep it cold and it does stay cold. All in all I had a good time the people that go there behave themselves the waitstaff was good and the owner showed up to say hello I thought that was very nice. And I really enjoyed the paper view but I didn't have to pay for.

Football Sunday, order hot wings...my wings come out ice cold. I asked why are they ice cold. server-"they are Pre cooked, we just warm them up". Really?? Is it that complicated to fry wings? The owners mentality and confirmed by employees is that the CUSTOMERS ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. Well Mr and Mrs owner, you lost a few more WRONG customers.

Do not come here. Ordered a turkey wrap for lunch and waited for over an hour for the waitress to bring my food.

In town unexpectedly, I hit this place for dinner around 6 pm on a Thursday night. There was a list of a wide array of beers that they had currently available. When I walked in, a server quickly ( I will call her Mila because she seemed to be a Mila) greeted me and showed me to a table. Mila waited for me to order a beer, and it was out in a few minutes. I opted to order the $.49 wings, hot, with blue cheese. The wings were crisply fried, and the hot sauce was moderate in heat. Blue cheese was in a prepack cup, but no surprise there. Mila was friendly, and always asked if I needed another beer before my glass was empty! Much better than most chain sports bars. Overall, I think this is a decent local bar for beers, burgers, and wings.

I'm giving this review a 3 star rating. Not because it's bad. Just because all I had was beer there. Their selections are on par with most brewpubs. The staff doesn't know much about the beers they have other than the list they can give you, but they are nice and am to serve. The only complaint I had was the atmosphere is not one I'd bring a date to but if I want to have a few craft brews and play some trivia...I'm there.

Don't waist your time or your money. The service is subpar at best and the food on "dollar tacos night" have come out cold BOTH times we have come here. They said they would comp our cold food and they didn't, no they didn't have to but it would have been nice for them to follow through with the offer or not have made it at all. It's close to the navy base and I am pretty sure that's the only reason this place is still up and running. Wish I could give a lower star rating.

I must agree with the majority of reviews in that: - the place wasn't aesthetically appealing at all, inside or out - no greeting - rude servers The inside is very dark, not a whole lot of windows which is great... if you're a barfly wanting to drink the day away. There was only about five ppl sitting at the bar so not busy at all and it still took about seven minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. There were 100+ taps, so great selection, but she didn't offer a beer list or menu and there was no way I could read them all b/c of 1) too dark 2) not close to where I was sitting 3) too many. It was only after the guy next to me (a regular) asked the bartender for a list that she reluctantly came over and tossed it in front of me... but not without scoffing at him first. So now I'm excitedly scouring the extensive list of beers and I really look at the tap wall. To my disappointment, the majority had cups on them because they were out. I went through at least five choices and all were out so I went with a Sam seasonal but you better believe they still had plenty of Bud Lite, Natty Lite, Yeungling... which is probably what they should stick with. I opted to not dare order - it's a good sign of less than desirable food when hardly anybody at the tables were eating, just drinking - but I could see what was coming out of the kitchen, which looked to be standard bar fare... little bitty chicken wings and the likes. Great place for a cheap domestic beer during happy hour but not much more.

Wings are good, beers are cold, but the management is lacking. Purchased the "$10 for a $20" groupon/coupon (seen on the right of this page) and zero people working at Woodshed knew how to honor the actual voucher. Pandora's box then ensued as they attempted to figure out how to do something as simple as discounting my bill.

FIRST time we have ever walked out of a restaurant--ever! That should be "'nough said" but since Yelp is for reviews and not just for rants... Customer service 101: Greet your customers. Nope. Restaurant Business 101: Make sure you're well stocked, at least for when you start your day! Nope. They didn't have the potato salad or coleslaw that was included with your burger meals at 12 in the afternoon, they probably had JUST opened, and they were apparently out of it for a while because it was just a "bonus" for customers. That it really wasn't "included" anyway. Um...? It's written on the menu... Integrity 101: If it says it's "included" with the meal, it should be included with the meal. Btw, the co-owner was telling us all this. smh... Management/Ownership 101: Take ownership of your business' mistakes and correct them accordingly. Do NOT in any circumstances make pitiful excuses and storm off when the customer is talking mid-sentence about something that could really help your business. NOPE. Someone should call Chef Robert {Restaurant Impossible}!! Because honestly, while ownership/management may be so-so, the restaurant ambiance was not bad. We walked out before even getting our food, so I can't talk in behalf of the food. But maybe Chef Robert may be able to straighten some clearly messed up management going on internally. What a shame, it looked so promising! Even bought a Groupon for it! Glad I could get a refund though!! PS: We are NOT normally complainers. If there is bad service at a restaurant, etc, we usually stick it out and see if it gets better, and it usually does! But this was just from bad to worse in literally the 15 minutes we were there.

Great brews, food and servers. My friend and I were regulars here while in A school. We'd grab lunch or dinner and enjoy the company of local regulars. Ashley is an awesome bartender. It was very nice of them to offer free pizza to enlisted on Mondays. What other place has a military appreciation day every week?? It may not be some fancy shmancy place but give credit where it is due. Also I don't know why reviewers are so critical. Why go to a pub if you are going to judge people and call them bar flies? Bartenders have wonderful personalities, but keep in mind they aren't robots. Those girls make good drinks and are fun.

The worst restaurant experience we have had in years. There should be a reward for how bad this place is!!! Where to start?! The overpriced kids meal consist of a frozen microwaved corndog and a cheap sugary fruit cup that they referred to as "fresh fruit". They are obviously so desperate for customers that they will let the few they have act out anyway they want including groping their waitresses and loudly yelling obscenities. The table to the left of us were so intoxicated the guy couldn't even get to the bathroom without falling down but never did they stop serving them and the table on our right were calling the waitress a terrible name for women and screaming at the top of their lungs at a hockey game. And let's talk about the waitresses outfits, cutoff yoga pants in what's suppose to be a family friendly restaurant? Ok sure I've seen it all now I guess. The music in the place was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think on top of all the screaming. The thing that scared me the most was there was no soap in the bathroom so how could the employees be properly washing their hands before returning to work? The only nice thing I can say about this poor excuse of a restaurant is their wings were great and the beer was ice cold. Do yourself a favor and never go near this place!!!

  • Pete F.

The waitress didn't know anything about the menu or specials and when we asked how the yuengling bock beer was, we were told it was "dark". We saw three meals go back to the kitchen, including ours for being incorrect, promptly followed with what we assume is the chef coming to the kitchen door to look at the table the complained. So in summary, if you just want a beer, they have a good selection. If you want a mixed drink be weary. If you want a bite to eat, go somewhere else.

I had high hopes for this location but I was truly disappointed and I'm pretty easy to please. Once we arrived it was pretty early and not many people in there. We pretty much could sit ourselves. The bartender actually came from behind the bar to take our drink orders, she said until the waitress come. As this was done apparently the lady who was to be our waitress was standing on the wall and was for a while and then decided to come get our orders which I found to be weird and wacky. I could see if it was a million people in there but she was just standing there. She came over and I was asking her about the drinks and specials and she didn't even know what a Rum Punch was or at least what she told me and that just killed my soul. To not know the basic things and work with the bar and grill side of this location is just a little odd to me. She had trouble explaining what was truly included in the drink specials. So me and my party gave up on the idea of having drinks at this location, and just stuck with water. We ordered some food and I went with a burger and my cousin went with chili cheese fries and a hot dog if I'm not mistaken. She brought out to my cousin her meal with fries as well as the chili cheese fries instead of just upgrading the fries and not bringing out two. She didn't enjoy her meal at all and wasn't pleased with the chili. My burger was basic and decent so I had no concerns but nothing spectacular. Normally we like to linger and drink, but we couldn't wait to go on to some other locations. I must say the patrons and the bartender were nice in the location. There is also ample parking at this location. Its also pretty reasonably priced. I wish I could say more nice things about location but wait staff really just ruined it for me and food ruined it for my party.

I wish there was a button for 0 stars. I went here once a couple months ago with some people from work and the service was not good, the food sucked and nobody had a good time. I thought that maybe it was because it was busy. So i gave it another shot. It got even worse. The waitress told us things that i didnt really want to hear. She said they advertise to have over 100 beers on tap but they are always out of about 25% of them so there is never over 100. She also said that the heat of the wing sauce depends on the mood that the cook is in when he is making the sauce. Does not matter what sauce. She also said other things that too but i hope you ge the point. Dont go here, there are much better resturants in Pensacola.

Servers and bartenders know next to nothing about everything on the menu and the beer they sell. Food is still decent, but this place has really gone downhill since I was a regular here 2 years ago. Great selection of beer, and decent food is what kept this from being a one star.

Not sure where to start for this review. But I'll start it from home... My wife & I decided to check this place out, so we purchased a Groupon deal ($20 for $10 deal). We arrive at this place after a 30-40 min. drive. And walk in... Outside: 3 stars It's supposed to be ok for children, but the outside seems intimidating for them (not too loud inside, so yes, I say it's ok for children). Could use a little parking lot sweep. Not a big deal. Inside: 4 stars It's actually really nice as I'm a fan of sports-themed restaurants. A great amount of TVs. Very roomy between tables, and you don't have to squeeze through them. My only issue was that the tables were sticky. Not a big deal either. Food: (N/A) I only had a Sweet Tea, due to canceling our order. My wife had water. I'd put 0 stars for the water. How can you mess up water? They did. It had a certain kind of taste. Which I also tasted. My wife actually asked me due to being nervous, "Am I gonna die?" Lol. Service: 1 star I don't remember ever giving a single star due to service specifically. The lowest I remember giving is a 2, and if I thought lower, I just tried to forget about it & just not return. In fact, this would've been a zero, but our server (seemed new) tried to help as much as she could. So... I give the restaurant a star for her effort alone. I'm actually still confused about the whole visit. We felt like we were in an episode of Bar Rescue, it was so bad. Going back to when we walked in: We weren't greeted, but the hostess/server walked up to us & said, "You can sit anywhere.... Just not that area. It's closed." No "hello" or a "hi." Wow. Not even a smile. Red flag. We find a nice area to sit. Our server comes up, smiles, & was nice. She gets our drinks: Sweet tea, good. Water, has taste. Lol. Like a mixture of metal & freezer-flavored ice. A freezer w/ old meat. So we finally decided on what to order. I ordered a Southwest Burger, since it was a great deal! The description said it came w/ Potato Salad or Coleslaw. And if you wanted to add fries, it would be another extra $1.63(?). Basically about $8-$9 for a burger w/ 2 sides. Great! Our server says that they're out of the Potato Salad/Coleslaw. How do you run out of food? I used to be a GM of a restaurant. When we fell short of items, it's a result of my failure. Not organized. I told her that it's fine. And if I could just have the fries w/ my burger in replacement of the items. She said that I still had to pay for the $1.63!! Haha! I tried to be patient. She asked management if we could have it free. We couldn't. I told her it wasn't her fault, & if I could speak w/ the manager. He comes out to our table. I explain the situation that the menu says it comes w/ my burger. Which I actually thought was a great deal, & drew me to purchase it for the awesome value. His response was, "Well, it's actually not figured into the cost. So really the price you're paying is just for the burger." Lol!! He tried to explain that even though they ran out of it, it was their choice to give it for free to customers. I told him, "So you're saying that we're doing you all a favor for coming in here?" I say that because he kept saying how it was their choice if they wanted to give it out. I was surprised. Shocked actually. I'm sure I was embarrassing my wife. Sorry Honey. I told him, "But it's written on the menu. It says it comes with it. Wouldn't that be false advertisement?" He says no. Lol. And repeats his answer of it not being included in the value. And stutters through it. I told him that it shouldn't be written on the menu if it's just a "gift" to the customer. He shrugs his shoulders and agrees. Ok, so I'm thinking what are you gonna do now? He gets frustrated, walking away he says sarcastically, "You know what? I'll get you the fries!" I stop him & say, "I'm not trying to get free stuff." It's the principle of the matter. Integrity. When you say it comes w/ it, it should come w/ it. If you run out, replace it. If you're reasoning is that it's not included in the value (not our fault), & that you choose to give it to customers or not, then take it off the menu. Give it to customers as you please. We've never walked out of a restaurant. Never. But we did here. Before we walked out, I went up to our server at the bar area & paid for my tea. Gave her a tip for the price of the drink ($2). I figure reward her for trying. I'm talking to the other servers while I was there, since they seem aware of what transpired. Even THEY were giving me attitude, & not wanting to give any info/numbers to any owner/operator. In fact, one of them said that the gentleman I talked to had "joint partnership" with the lady owner. I'm in utter disbelief. The other servers even didn't care, & were squeezing in between myself & the ones I was talking to. Rolling eyes at me. My advice? You can try this place. You may get a better response.

My favorite bar for beer, wings, karaoke, and sports in West Pensacola. They do not serve crap beer! No Crap on Tap is their motto. They are good at having seasonal beers also. I enjoy their meaty wings and a cold one while watching sports or a drunk karaoke song on Friday nights. They love their military by having free pizza Monday's starting at 1900. The local servers and bartenders are quite nice. Look but don't touch! Most are single mothers (if you are into that). However, staff is friendly and will remember their regulars. Sometimes service can be slow, but I've never experienced that myself. Definitely my go to place if I don't want to drive to downtown for tomfoolery. Oh yeah... a non-smoking bar is winning! One pool table though.

Good food matched with good service. Ive eaten here more than a few times. Lots of TVs which are allmost exclusively for sports. Servers are usually good. They are friendly, some are even EXTRA friendly (if you know what I mean). Bone in wings are my favorite there. They also provide boneless and a wide variety of other foods. Great beer selection, almost any beer type you can think of, they have on tap. Place is pretty cheap and i recommend it for a casual night out with decent wings and great beers

Good food and good service. It is your typical wings and beer joint. There are plenty of large TVs visible from all tables so it would be a great place to watch a game. I would suggest ordering sweet potato fries- they are very crispy and delicious. Good place for a quick bite or beer but certainly not a unique/special place.

The Woodshed is #1 for worst service I've had all year. And we just went in July. That is 6 months of going out 5 nights a week to find something this terrible. 3 of us came here for lunch last week. Cliff notes: Avoid this place at all costs. I never recommend chains, but seriously, go down the road 1/8th mile to Ruby Tuesdays. Here we go.... Good: Lots of TVs. Lots of beers on tap. 49c wings when we were there. Bad: 1/3rd of the taps were not tapping on the day we went. The Lagunitas IPA I ordered blew the keg, so the glass was only 3/4 full. Compound the issue - they charged me for the beer! And it was flat. Questionable tap line cleaning. Burger was good. Cheese fries are canned nacho cheese and pre-done frozen fries. meh. Wings are nothing special. Frozen. Not inspected to only serve the good wings. A few stragglers. Sauce was nothing to write home about. SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. Waitress would disappear for 10 minutes while we waited for beers, and when she did show up they were the wrong beers. I ordered a Bells Oberon. 10 minutes passes, she comes back to bring food out. Asks if we need anything, I mention my Bells. We also order another Bells. 10 minutes again passes, she comes over to check on the food and again I mention the beer. She says "bartender isnt there right now" and points to the bar. Eventually we get Bells beer. But we don't get Oberon, we get some nut ale. I accept the nut ale because I've never met a beer I didn't like. Girlfriend really wanted Oberon, so hers goes back. Now we're done with eating. Friend orders another beer. Waitress says "you want another, I have that nut ale and I paid for it, so its yours if you want it". I say "fine". I don't want it really, I want what I ordered.. but if its free, sure! She brings out my friends bud light and a nut ale. And...says....the worst thing I've ever heard from a service industry employee: "Here are your beers. Oh, and the bartender gave away the nut ale to those people (points), so here is a new one! So I have to charge you for this one." I stare blankly while she smiles and hops away. Even with bad service, I rarely ever tip under 15%. I can't even think the last time I did. I had a serious mind debate about no tip, 5%, or 10%. She had no clue she was terrible, and the other staff didn't seem much better. So, in summary: terrible service, so-so food, and did I mention terrible service with no manager or leadership around. Avoid this place at all costs. I never recommend chains, but seriously, go down the road 1/8th mile to Ruby Tuesdays.

Hottest hot wings I've had in years! It was like I got maced in the mouth! My eyes were streaming tears and I could physically only eat 4 out of 10. I love it! I always order the hottest everywhere I go and this place kicked my ass. On top of that they have one of the best beer selections outside of California. To top it off, the waitresses are you scrubby single mother types. Just my style! First time here but highly recommended.

Good beer selection 80 drafts and more bottles. Lots of local and not so local choices. Food choices are pretty good also. I had a Ruben and a Gyro, not the best I've ever had but went well with the beer.

Found this place on Yelp and assumed by the name it was an actual restaurant. Come to find out its just a bar that happens to serve a decent array of food. No big deal. We walk in, half of the tables were occupied and the other half were full of crap and needed to be cleaned. We were not greeted at the door, nor were we greeted when we walked up to the server at the bar. She looked at us and then turned the other way! We asked if she could clean a table for us. She said 'yeah, in a bit' when she wasn't doing anything. Now I'm thinking disaster alert but we'd already purchased the $10/$20 deal on Yelp so we're stuck now! This place boasts about over 200 beers but they don't offer a list. When I asked, the twitty server said if I want it they probably have it. Well sweetheart, I want something I don't normally have so wtf?! I went up to the bar but it was too dark to read the handles and the snatchy bartender was in no mood to help me anyway, so I ended up with water. I wonder if the owner likes making money at this point... We order out food, which was very well priced and the menu had lots of options for a bar. I ordered a wrap but it was more like a taco when it came out so I had to do the wrapping portion myself. Clearly no gourmet chefs, whatevs. My mom ordered a $10 chef salad. It came out in a tiny bowl with a small handful of lettuce and a bunch of sliced deli meat. Not quite a chef but at least they didn't skimp on the toppings. We had the hardest time getting our servers attention. She spent half the time eating at the bar and the other half wandering aimlessly. Clearly the girl is either new or just not very good at her job. We finally track her down and get a box and the check. Remember we bought the Yelp deal. We provide the server with the code. Now she gets flustered and confused. Our check was $19.75 - under our $20 limit. She tells us we have to spend more money to make it over $20. Uh, read the fine print princess. After about 15 minutes of arguing over this, the server starts crying. CRYING!! You work in a bar and you cry over a little confusion with the check? Time to rethink your occupation.... It finally gets resolved, we throw the tip on the table and high tail it outta there. Sh!t show fo' sho'!

I come here every Thursday for the .49 cent wing deal. The wings at this joint are nothing short of awesome. The service is impeccable. The waitresses are all sweethearts. I don't understand where these other reviews are coming from. If you want your food in 5 minutes, go to Arby's next door. A very large selection of beers on tap, awesome tv's, with every sport event you want to watch. I recommend the blue angel after burner sauce. The wings are good sized. There are four or so sauces that are made at the Woodshed. They've never fumbled my order on anything. A great place to watch football games or UFC fights. Beer and food prices are good with a special always available.

Service was really slow for what appeared to be a slow Friday evening. Food is typical bar food with the inclusion of some pita & wrap style choices. We waited about 20-30 minutes for our drinks (2 waters & 2 beers). Our appetizer came out after our main courses which was about an hour later. Probably a good place to drink beer as they had a lot on tap. Probably a good idea to sit at the bar.

For the P-cola newbs who might be confused, I gotta point out Brews Bros simply changed names to Woodshed. Same mgmt and staff!! I'm re-posting my Brews Bros review below since it still applies... -- Someone please justify less-than-5-stars when Brews Brothers [WOODSHED] has the following.... Great food and better wings, 80+ beers on tap, 25 cent wings on Thursday, TVs all over the place (with multiple directv feeds with COMPLETE sports packages), FREE UFC, a beer challenge (100 beers/90 days) to earn the coveted personalized beer stein setting loyal patrons apart from ordinary customers, and a crew that will go outta the way to help you out- meaning if the jukebox is loud, just ask john to turn it down a few notches. Bottom line, if you just absolutely hate steppin foot in this place and putting up with "regulars" like myself, then head on up the road to hooters. I'll be watchin free UFC while you'll be watchin the Rays- oh wait those games are all blacked out. No MLB package ya know, franchise restrictions.

I do and do not like this place. I have to say, it looks a tad shady walking up to it and the inside really has nothing special. However, they're saving grace is how many different actually good beers they have on tap. You can get just about anything you want. The food is greasy, but I kind of went in expecting that. I do not recommend getting the onion rings. They are overly breaded and grease drips out. Not exactly appetizing for me. However, I wouldn't turn this place down, get a gyro, grab a beer, and sit down to watch the game.

Excessively friendly service, mediocre food. Overall it was a good experience, but it's nothing special.

If this was based strictly on my meal the rating would be a solid four stars. However, I must include the opinions of the other members of our noon time soiree, hence the three. First off, be advised this place is drenched in "local color" (which is Warrington) and ambiance. From the carpet to the ceiling, everything is dark. Color is provided only from military and sports themed wall hangings and is about as far from trendy as the South Pole is from Pensacola. Likewise, don't expect to see any "Obama 2012" or Rainbow flags. The Shed had a good crowd and it was nice to see more than one server working the floor. We had just placed our drink orders and opened the menus when the server was ready to take our order. I'll be kind and attribute this to getting the lunch crowd out and back to work as well as having a lot of locals that know exactly what they want. We ordered a Reuben, chili and I (based on previous recommendations) got the wings. Of course we also had beers. They only have 90 in stock, so selection is somewhat limited. None the less we did find our personal preferences for three bucks a pint, so all is good. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, IE., ready for a second beer, which is a plus on my scorecard. My wings were bar food great! Plumb, tender, cooked just right and covered in a hot sauce which was a nice match. It was also nice to have carrots served with celery, however, these carrots had been soaked in some some liquid which I suspect wasn't water. After all, how many times have you seen a limp carrot slice?! Additionally, they had a funky taste, so I stuck with the celery. Also, the ranch was in a packet (so much for home cooking) still, the wings were spot on. Unfortunately my compatriots didn't fare so well. The chili was of the canned variety and the Reuben lacked distinction in taste or quantity. So wings great, other food so so, good service and divey ambiance equals a three, but I could see a four given enough beer and wings! We agreed that Thursdays, (.40 per wing special), is the day to get to the Shed and get fed! Otherwise, dine at your risk. PS-I have been told their daily specials are decent.

Just finished lunch at the Woodshed. I wish I had gone elsewhere. This might be a good place to drink and party, but my sandwich took far to long to prepare, and was impossible to eat. The other foods I observed were just as sloppily prepared as was mine. I'll pass . . .

This place is horrible! Don't waste your time! Me and my fiancé went on there when it was slow and it still took 33 minutes to get a beer! This is one of the few restaurants I have gotten up and walked out of because the service is so bad. And it stinks, literally! Only way I would go back there is if they were on bar rescue!
