Good pizza, small but great tasting grinder. Counter service with $2.50 bottles of beer. Pizza slice was rather small and thin, but it was only $2.38 . The grinders are ~$6 for an 8inch or ~$13 for a 16" sandwich. The Caribbean pork had excellent sweet pork, onions, cheese, and a lot of bread. It was baked open faced so the toppings were all hot. Not a bad place, just not the best I have had. It's better than most fast food chains, but there are a lot of new york style delis that give a lot more toppings for the price.

Came here and I decided to order a calzone with sausage and mushrooms. The pricing didn't justify the quality of toppings at all. Not for $10.00 a calzone. While the meal wasn't exactly horrible, it didn't come out piping hot. The only thing that gave the appearance of being hot in the calzone, was the cheese because it was melted. In addition to this, the toppings used in the calzone weren't of premium quality. My boyfriend ordered a calzone with jalapeños and pepperonis. The jalapeños weren't fresh. They were just the standard jarred jalapeños, and my sausage wasn't the best quality either. Just the standard balls of sausage that Pizza Hut serves. For the type of money that we ended up spending we could've just went to Marco's pizza instead and had better quality sausage. One positive thing that I can add to this is the fact that the portions are quite large and the customer service is good. I don't plan on returning unless I order something completely different.

Waited since last year to come back - from Texas. This has to be the best place I have ever been ever since we seen a flyer 5-9 years ago an tried it for the first time we have been coming back ever since. The best thing we like so much is the Meat head grinder an the supreme pizza. their pasta is good too but the other of what I listed is a HighLight's. Every year we make a 17 Hour trip to the Pensacola Gulf breeze an stay their for about a week. Out of all the places we go to Santino's for lunch every day. Dinner every other night. On the nights we don't go we goto a place on the Santa Rosa Island. This place is a must try!!! ---- Meat Head Grinder ---- Supreme Pizza

Should have posted a review earlier; as I come here often, but I will be checking in a lot from now on I suppose. I have my staples I usually get here; tho I vary from time to time and when I come w friends there isn't anything on the menu that is bad! Everyone is friendly, efficient, orders are always correct and made to order. It's always a fabulous experience whether you eat in or carry out!!

Delicious grinders! Very affordable, and you will definitely come out full (or loosening your belt) because the portions are huge!

This is my favorite pizza in Pensacola. It's so good, we've been coming here for many years now and it's always a treat. It's more expensive than most pizza but definitely worth it. I only wish they delivered. The Grinders are also extremely delicious. Really everything on the menu is great, you won't be disappointed.

The BBQ chicken pizza was awesome they do a great job with their pizza. The music they play in the restaurant is a little weird but I'm sure it's the young staff behind the counter, some kind of gangster rap. I am in my 50's though.

Ok ordered a couple grinders and pizza for the fam. Order got lost and after 35 min they got our food for us. The food was great and after apologizing and making the situation right every one as happy. I will say I was very mad and the staff handled me perfectly. They were very sorry and refunded my order. The staff is awesome and I'd say my experience was a fluke and it happens to the best of them. They over came it and the food was great. Thank you santinos for having pride and making the situation right. I will be back.

We love santinos. All the different types of grinders including creative pulled pork grinder are yummy. We always have to get the Mediterranean pizza cooked extra long. It's so good even to my meat loving family.

Pretty basic calzone - definitely a pizza folded over and not stuffed with anything fancy. Salads are iceberg, but the buffalo sauce on the chicken made it pretty tasty. Would definitely try a meatball grinder next time. Good place for a quick lunch.

Seems to be good all around. great tacos and sandwiches. Haven't tried the pizza yet. Service was good and they helped with advising us on combos for a cheaper price. Also clean and neat.

I cannot stand Santino's Pizza, but I love the baked spaghetti. The pizza crust is akin to Wonder Bread and is soggy and limp. The baked spaghetti, on the other hand, is incredible. You get to choose what you want in it (sliced meatballs, pepperoni, bell peppers, etc.), then they top it off with what must be a 1/2 pound of mozzarella, bake the thing until the cheese begins to turn brown, and serve it to you piping hot. You also get a nice piece of buttered garlic bread. Delicious!

I had their pizza for the first time this week, and it was great! Hawaiian pizza was delicious. It had slivered almonds on it which were surprisingly good and added a nice crunch. They now offer pizza in a take-and-bake format so you can have them custom-make it with your chosen toppings, then you pick it up and bake it at home at your convenience. It's like 'Papa Murphy's' pizza in other cities, which is a compliment! Very casual, family friendly. Serves beer. I'll be back!

I did a commercial photo shoot for Santino's yesterday, and after we finished everything up, I had the chance to try their food. Boy was I surprised! I'm so sick of Subway I could kill myself, so it was a really nice change of pace. A grinder (in case you were wondering) is basically a sandwich - in this case, they melt the cheese onto the bread for you so it is hot & bubbly when it comes out. The bread was good, the meat was good, and the cheese was good. So all around, I really enjoyed it! I would equate it to a non-chain version of a Quiznos toasted sub. The best part for me is that they have an outdoor seating area which would be perfect for your furry four-legged friend. I would definitely recommend that you give Santino's a try. There were a lot of business people in the restaurant for lunch, so that seems to be the best time to go. They do have a decent selection of bottled beers, fountain drinks, and some tasty looking cookies. Their prices were very reasonable, so you shouldn't need to spend more than $10 for lunch.

Santino's Panhandler grinder is possibly the best grinder I've ever had in my life! Something about that toasted bread and the melted cheese. I haven't had one in 5 years and I'm craving one right now...too bad I now live in New England. ;) I can't comment on Santino's pizza, salads, or anything else on their menu...but I'd definitely go back just for the Panhandler (okay, maybe I'd have to try their Cheesburger and Taco grinders, too).

... had their pepperoni pizza and I wasn't impressed at all.. I thought the sauce had a weird almost tangy taste to it. I should've drove a little bit farther to Little Caesars and got a $5 pizza... maybe I will go back and try the baked spaghetti since a review said it was good.

I've never been to a Santino's so I figured I'd eat here while I was in the area. I didn't want to wait for a pizza so I got one of their sandwiches (called Grinders). OMG! It was amazingly delicious! I'll definitely be going back to this place when I'm in the area! The restaurant is very clean and I didn't walk out reeking like pizza, which is what I seriously hate about most pizza places. It was reasonably fast service and the employee's were friendly.

Very good pizza. The toppings were fresh and the dough had a good flavor. There were not many people there on a Tuesday night so my pizza came out real quick. My next time in town I'll have to stop in again.

Wow! What a gem of a find. We are staying in Pensacola for a night just passing through to go New Orleans. We need to run to Publix and my mother said she felt like pizza and I was going to go the normal tradition route with Pizza Hut or Dominos and I'm extremely happy that I did not. I saw this on the way from the hotel to Publix and I looked it up on Yelp while I was waiting at the store. We got a large pizza with bacon, peppers and olives. The cheese was a amazing. The wait wasn't long and we might have stayed to eat outside, but we are traveling with a dog and I'm not sure that it would have been allowed. The place smelled amazing when I walked in, so I was sold and well Mom did say she wanted pizza. I actually wasn't going to try it because I'm trying to watch what I eat, but I could resist. What a great find and Pensacola has a gem of a pizza place. I will recommend it to people that I know in the area.

I haven't tried their pizza, but my picky five-year old ate an entire slice of their cheese pizza. I had the garlic chicken grinder and it was glorious! Their bread, I know they bake it twice a day or something like that, but that could mean they take the dough out of the freezer or mix it fresh every morning. Regardless, their bread is just... perfection. It was all my almost one year old wanted to eat. I added banana peppers, but they really weren't too spicy at all. Don't think those were fresh. My husband says their carribean pulled pork is awesomeness in a barrel. Their customer service... well, we caught them a little later in the night and I think they all just wanted to go home. Not rude or impolite, just there. It looked family friendly and spacious. (We ordered it all take-out.) For the money, it was absolutely delicious. There could have been a little more color to the grinders, but aesthetically pleasing or not, it was tasty!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
