On the bright side they quickly seated our 8 person party before the bartender had a chance to take our drink orders at the bar. I ordered the strip steak and rock lobster. The lobster had a good flavor but was a bit chewy the steak was slightly undercooked to my tastes but still had a good flavor, with a bit more fat than I expected for a strip steak. The waiter seemed like a rookie but did a good job keeping up. A 4 star meal for 50 bucks a 3 star meal for the $84.00 it cost me.

I can't even give this place a star. But since it wouldnt let me post until i did, i chose one. I Will never eat here. Believe me, there are far better seafood places on the Gulf Coast....The management leaves much to be desired and Female manager was very rude and needs to go to hospitality school. RED LOBSTER do Pensacola a favor and move this horrible restaurant out of here! We have better seafood locally-owned then your frozen crap.

They could get 4 stars if their initial waiting to seat issue could be resolved. No matter when you come you have to wait even when there are not that many tables filled. The excuse is the same every time, oh those tables have no server! If they fix that issue, they may get 4 stars.

We got there around 7:51 and we're seated right away because we call and made a reservation. Our server was a tall lady with big hair. My husband and I ordered drinks first for our daughters and ourselves. My husband had a Pina cola da and asked what type of pineapples they used and our server didn't know. She said that the bar tender was going to look for the brand name. When she came back with the drink she first said that she forgot to ask the bar tender followed by her saying that the bar tender didn't want to look for the name because they were busy. I ordered a bloody Mary and didn't see it for an hour. Our appetizers didn't come out until around the same time. After an hour of waiting for ALL of our drinks to come out, 2 adult drinks and our kids drinks, we said forget it. We only saw our server a few times only to hear excuses after excuses. Finally we saw the manager and told her that the environment was crazy and that we would just take our food to go. Well! THAT took ANOTHER hour!!!! Wtf!?! Another hour just to get our food packed that should have been done a long time ago!!! The manager and server tried to make things better with adding a whole pound of crab. Our original order didn't even have crab in it to begin with!!!!! You can't buy customers people! In all we were there for a whole two hours and had nothing but our appetizers and old garlic bread to eat. The experience was terrible. No knowledge of garnishments is bad. Slow service is worse. TWO freaking hours is rediculous!

I wondered why it was so easy to find a parking place at the Reds Lobster last night. I soon found out. The flounder fillet was like a piece of leather I also ordered ordered some crab stuffed shrimp. The shrimp was tough on the outside and the crab stuffing had no visible crab meat and consisted of uncooked white paste like material. On the plus side, the food was hot and the service and atmosphere were fine. They even offered to give me another plate of food but I hast lost my appetite, ate the rolls and left.

By far the WORST red lobster I have ever been to. First off, I ordered the bar harbor lobster bake and added corn on the cob INTO the bake, as well as stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. So my friend and I waited and waited for our appetizer but never got it. This random waiter brought our food out and then he uncovers my bake repeats my order then tells me there's no lobster in there and asks if I still want it, Im like no not really since i ordered a LOBSTER BAKE...he puts it in front of me and says he'll go and get the lobster. My corn was not in there either. I ask about our appetizer and he had no clue what I was talking about. He then goes to get my lobster and corn...and it is COLD AND NOT SEASONED. Our original waitress comes and says that she completely forgot about our appetizer and DOESN'T even apologize. They take the lobster back and bring it right back hot as if they popped it in the microwave. By this time I was over this place so my friend and I asked for the manager told him about the terrible service and left. I will never return to this location again and I don't suggest you waste your time here either. I'm upset that I gave this place 1 star and that's only because you have to in order to post the review.

We only go here because for some reason once a year someone gives us a substantial Red Lobster gift card. Let me say that once a year is to much, every time we go they tank and badly. This year was no different. We were seated during lunch, and we were not asked if we wanted a booth or a table. And there we sat for twenty five minutes, watching people who were sat after us get service. So we moved a booth over close to where we saw servers and.we were ignored another ten minutes. My husband had to get up and go to the hostess to say something. She flagged down the nearest waitress who started our drinks and then had the nerve to say that she had no other servers to assign us to! How is that possible? So we ordered and ate mediocre food, by the way the tartar sauce was tasteless amd crab rubbery, and had a server switch cuz the other had been cut and then the second server said that the hostess forgot to tell her we were there as we were hers. We filed a complaint of course. No manager even offered to talk to us while we were there. The manager called after we filed a complaint while my husband was asleep and he asked her to call back, and had the audacity to tell him she needed to handle it now instead of letting him go back to sleep. I don't care if they ever give us a gift card to here again, I'll regift it and we will never be back. A fifty dollar loss for us, but they couldn't pay me to go back. Ever.

As many times as I've been here, you'd think I'd have learned my lesson. The service is always lacking here and food is just the run-of-the-mill frozen stuff. This is pcola; plenty of local places with much better and fresher seafood. This place gets a little busy around dinner because it's one of the few seafood places by the mall (I forgot that Bonefish is nearby and should have gone there). This place has certainly tried to improve its look and feel over the years but I'm not sure it has really helped the quality of service or food. I've always noticed the extremely slow service here, so I came in expecting it. On this particular visit, the host was quick to point out the pictures on the menu that my 11-year-old and I could look at...I guess because we can't read? The server who eventually got to us seemed to talk to is like we were kids for some teason. Maybe that was just her personality? Still annoying nonetheless. Anyway, our sodas took a while to come out. Food came surprisingly quicker than I was used to at this location. The server never came back to check on us (or my empty glass) until we were ready for the check. So I came in with low expectations...which were met. I guess I can't be too disappointed then. I'm only disappointed that I totally forgot that Bonefish in around the corner. But seriously, next time when I want seafood, I'll head downtown or the beach....

I'm pretty shocked at all the not so great reviews , I decided to check it out anyways . We went on a Sunday around 5pm and it was not really busy but you could tell it was slowly picking up . We were greeted promptly and served drinks . I got a piña colada which was soo good. Appetizers was stuffed mushrooms , they were good not great next time I will try the sampler. My mom ordered NY strip and 2 lobster tails. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and both lobster tails were a good size and hot and juicy. I got the bay harbor bake which was very tasty, they were not stingy with the mussels, scallops or shrimp and lobster tails. My husband got some seafood platter with a bit of everything and he polished off his plate so I'm assuming he enjoyed it. I also got a classic Margarita on the rocks which I was made perfect and we got some dessert too. We were celebrating my moms birthday so they embarrassed her by singing to her out loud so everyone could hear. Overall we had a great experience there. Customer service was prompt and friendly. Will def be returning sometime.

We went to Red Lobster just the other day. They have great service and some good biscuits. I asked our waiter about the biscuits and how they fixed them. He said that they have a lady that has been working there for as long as he could remember. She makes them from scratch everyday. They melt in your mouth. The meal we order was very well prepared. We had a very pleasant experience. I'd say we plan to go back and if you want a nice meal at good price you should too. Angela A.

Good food, bad service. Since I go to school in FL, my parents and I usually go to Red Lobster before they fly back home, but each time we've gone the service wasn't as expected. The food is good, but I mean it's Red Lobster, so of course it's good! My complaint is the service. It's really really slow! My server was nice and seemed very helpful, though she did need to be reminded a couple of times for little things like water and tabasco and lemon and such. That wasn't a huge deal to me. The food just took waaay to long to get there. I ordered the Endless Shrimp and shrimp really doesn't take very long to cook, but it took so long to get to our table! I really don't understand the hold up. The place wasn't even packed or anything. Came here at 7pm (knowing what we wanted, might I add), and here we are at 8:50pm, still waiting for our other refill of endless shrimp. I wish they would staff more waitresses or get more cooks or something. Get ready to wait!

We ate here last Monday because my husband had a gift certificate. Awful, just awful! My son and I ordered the pick two and my husband ordered seafood pasta special for lobster fest, which was by far the worst of three bad meals. His pasta was dry, there was a greasy/oily sauce at the bottom of the bowl, which was horrible. I don't know how this place stays open.

So, I live on the Gulf Coast, why am I at Red Lobster? Mom's partner loves this place- she's from Michigan- so we forgive her- this is what she grew up around- and it was her bday...service was good. The food was unremarkable. The prices were cheap, for the serving size (which we had to go boxes). The house salad was fresh, and the cheese biscuits- come on- don't act bougie- they are good. The seafood, well, it isn't the same you will get at locally owned places around here, but I have experienced worse service and food at other establishments. They coconut dipping sauce is pretty yummy, just sayin.

If there is a restaurant equivalen to Wal Mart, it is Red Lobster. From the crowd to the quality of the product, it just doesn't make sense. Went for lunch because friend had a gift certificate for $25, and at the RL, you can't possibly feed two people for dinner for $25. In fact, lunch was exactly $25.57. I had the Sailor's Platter--breaded shrimp (4), garlic shrimp scampi, broiled fish fillet, rice pilaf, small caesar salad (they were out of croutons--how does a restaurant run out of croutons?). All of it was HORRIBLE. The shrimp was of an embarrassing size. Fish was super "fishy", as in smelled like a fish market. The shrimp was rubbery and overcooked. The sweet tea was so over sweetened that it made me nauseous. I will NEVER understand how people living in one of the most beautiful coastal towns in the United States, surrounded with numerous fresh seafood restaurants, would eat at Red Lobster. For the same price, you can get twice the food, better quality fish, and much tastier preparation...and probably eat right on the water. Why do people think looking at the women's prison that is Dillard's Cordova Mall and eating over priced, horrible food is an option? If you live in Kansas and/or far, far away from a body of water, I could understand, but not in Pensacola, FL. I don't get it.

We arrived at this Red Lobster mid-afternoon and, despite the restaurant not even being half-full, we still had a 15 minute wait. There was an immediate impression that the restaurant is under-staffed. The Manager was conducting interviews and in an empty dining room right adjacent to our table they were loudly playing a training video for what I assume was a new employee. To make matters worse, I had ordered a grilled chicken Ceaser Salad and it unfortunately came with a side of hair...a big long nast black hair that was litereally wrapped around a chunk of lettuce! Our waiter was a very nice and attentive older gentleman (especially for the number of tables he had to attend to). He apologized and asked if I wanted another salad (yeah, right) or something else. As you can imagine I had lost my appetite so I declined. He then said the Manager would be right out to speak with me about the incident. After an unacceptable 20 minutes, and our server coming back to assure me she would "be right out", she finally came to the table, apologized, and assured us that this kind of thing NEVER happens in their kitchen, blah blah blah. It didn't really matter at that point but she did comp the salad - the LEAST she could do.

Based on the other reviews i see on here I'm a little perplexed because i actually had a great time here. My husband and I were seated within ten minutes and it was peak dinner hours. We got the lobster tail for an appetizer. It tasted wonderful. I ate golden fried flounder and it was ok not amazing, BUT my two sides were delicious so it all balanced out. My husband ordered steak and he loved it. Our server, Arnell, was very personable and attentive. We also had a good round of drinks. I had a margarita and I LOVED it. My husband had a crown and coke...he was pleased. Afterwards, we had some irish car bombs and they were great. The absolute best part of the dinner was the dessert! I love the warm chocolate chip cookie cake. So delicious! Overrall, I had an awesome time and would go back.

We were a party of 4 arriving at 8 pm. We waited the about 20 minutes to get a table. I knew we should have walked out when the stale air filled my nose. It had a musty unclean Oder from front to back of the restaurant; although the bathrooms were very clean. We were seated in a booth. The adjoining wall to the booth was splattered with dried food was obviously not cleaned for a long time. The food was good but the presentation was sloppy and unappealing. Our waitress, Manda, was cheery and helpful. The carpet in the restaurant was dirty and not maintained throughout the day. We saw several items on the floor that was not cleaned up throughout the day. If you go there, go early before any mess is made. It will stay there through out the day.
