This is one of those cases where, "When you find a good thing, stick with it!" I haven't tried any other Chinese Take-out spots in Pensacola but seeing as how I found this spot by way of happenstance (I drove past it and had an instant craving for chinese food) and what I ordered was PERFECT, I haven't wanted to eat Chinese Take-out from anywhere else. I've only been disappointed one time. I ordered House Special Lo Mein and when I got home, I realized it was House Special Fried Rice.... But even that was delicious lol So this place is really as good as it gets.

Food was ok, they can't do spicy at all. Even the extra chili paste was brown & old. My girls liked their orange chix, getting noodles instead of rice is well worth it!

So I have reviewed here before and chose to do so again. The food here is great and the price is reasonable. As other customers have stated the place could use some updating and cleaning but it's not a five star restaurant so I don't mind. If your in the area then give it a try.

While I have not tried every place in Pensacola, I have not found anywhere else that can compete in the Chinese Takeout arena! Go get you some!

Just went in on a Sunday afternoon because I was craving Chinese food. Not a huge store front so I wasn't sure if they were still open until I pulled up, but I walked in and it was very clean and prices were to be expected. Got the General Tso's lunch special for under 5 bucks and Steamed Dumplings for another 5 or so. Food quality and quantity was excellent. Chicken and rice were not dry or gross like most places, the vegetables in the pork fried rice were not dried out. Over all good quality of food. Steamed Dumplings...Wow, they were better than I've ever had with all of the traveling I've done. Very surprised, and the dipping sauce that comes with them compliments them very well. Highly recommend this place!

For Pensacola, this is about as good as it gets for Chinese food. I'm a full-blooded Yankee, and up in New England has some of the best Chinese food here in the states. After over a year of disappointment, I stumbled into No.1 Chinese Food. I mean, with a name like that, they have to be good, right!? Well, they are not bad. I have certainly had better, but I'll say it again. For Pensacola, this is about as good as it gets for Chinese food. I ordered the Bo Bo Platter for two (everywhere else I have ever been to call it the "Pu Pu Platter", but whatever) and the house fried rice. About 15 minutes later, my food was ready. All of the fried contents had the exact same golden brown fried look to it, from the eggrolls, the chicken, the fried shrimp, fried scallops, the chicken McNuggets (no kidding, they are the same shape) and the other thing... its a wonton with meat in them. I guess I'm used to burnt takeout from Chinese food places. It was all hot and fried, and it was okay. Nothing to really rave about, but again, it's as good as it gets here in Pensacola. The house fried rice was okay as well. I was concerned that the rice had the same exact color as the Bo Bo platter, but after the first bite that concern vanished. All-in-all, this is about as good as it gets for Chinese food here in Pensacola. Do I sound like a broken record?

We have eaten here twice now. We ordered our food as blah blah and when they read it back she read it as "blah blah combo." The whole combo part did not register and we said okay to the order. Apparently what "combo" means is that they put pork in everything. They put pork in rice and also in the egg rolls. This is definitely not what we wanted and we won't be ordering from them again.

This is my favorite Chinese spot..Shrimp Brocoli with fried rice is really good and they have the best stuffed crab ragoons..if you order before 3pm the lunch deal is your best bet.. they dont deliver which I wish they would, but take out is fast and friendly.

This is the closest takeout Chinese to my house. I would say that the food is on par with most any other takeout Chinese. Portions are plentiful and are probably more than anyone should eat in one sitting. The girls who usually work and kind and they always remember to put a side of sweet & sour sauce in the bag for my wife.

Where's the meat? 80% of the meal is onion & bell pepper! Very little meat. But it's cheap.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
