Love the new owners! This place used to be called Martelli's, but is now called "The Coffee House". They have switched to using a Facebook page exclusively for their web marketing. The prices are excellent compared to Starbucks - I love the value! Another personal pet peeve at Starbucks - the "iced coffee" comes loaded with a sugary syrup, and you have to make a special request to get it without all the calorie-laden stuff added. At The Coffee House, they keep it simple - true iced coffee! Exactly what I like. I'm also a proponent of supporting locally owned shops, so add this place to your to do list.

Let me start off by saying that maybe I came in on a bad day and I want to go again with my fiancé to grab a wrap or something. Moved here from Baltimore about 8months ago. I was used to little home owned coffee shops. Love the personal vibe. As I enter this place I see about 6 people to my left. I smiled.. None of their faces returned the smile. OK. I get to the counter and I study the menu above. I wait for about 3minutes before one of the ladies who didn't smile back. Approached me. She seemed agitated, as if I was interrupting her precious time and she REALLY did t want I do her job. OK. Then I ask a few questions. I get mumbles. Then I get served a overly priced crappy burnt coffee. Way to go.

It's always such a pleasure to drop in. My lil Italian friend she's always serving my Almond Joy in a cup with her warm smile and fun conversation. Mmmm mmmmm good!!

Came by here in the afternoon. Horrible atmosphere. Pastries weren't fresh, etc. I wouldn't stop by here again.

This is very convieniently location near the Naval Air Station. The name is now "The Coffee House". The owner is very friendy and personable. She was also helpful to me with information about the area since I am just visiting the area because my son is here at NAS. The store is comforable and unique and the coffee is good. Alot of regular customers came in while I was there and ordered food as well but I just had coffee. This was exactly what I was looking for this morning. Great find and plan to go back tomorrow for my morning coffee.

A small mocha latte cost me $5.81!!! Get out of here! Starbucks doesn't even cost that much! I'm not a big fan of Starbucks but their coffee is much better than this place. I DO NOT recommend this coffee shop. I posted a picture of my credit transaction from this place.

Was not very impressed. Bagel was a bit stale and service was mediocre. They still had Easter decor up at the end of May.

Really people and work-friendly! There are a zillion plugs available for charging your laptop. Enjoyed iced coffee and a toasted sun-dried tomato bagel with some tasty cucumber & dill cream cheese.

Martelli's was closed when we moved to Pensacola. Apparently the new owners know what they are doing. Old friends of the Martelli's, the new owner kept some of the amazing old wedding photographs of the family in there. Coffee from Italy. Amazing taste. Big screen tv where they put on cartoons for my kid while I discussed business with a client. I will be using them as my preferred clientele meet up spot.

Martelli's closed, alas. Their Domain Name expired Dec 12th and is now available. But if you need a coffee for on-base work, there's a Starbucks in the exchange on base (in the "clothing building" rather than the "electronics building;" the NEX is near the Portside Fitness Center), and another stand-alone Starbucks near the Radford Fitness Center. and if you want something freshly roasted in town, try The Drowsy Poet up on Brent Lane... that's one place I am definitely going to try! Thank you, Pensacola Yelpers!

Great local coffee shop with an itialian flavor. Use Malabar Gold espresso. Good stuff. They also have sandwiches, fudge and other snacks.

Good coffee shop, considering no other is anywhere near it. I like to stop and grab a latte before I head to base. Nice atmosphere inside. I'm going to try the breakfast here one morning, prices were good and it has to beat eating any fast food.
