Went on a Saturday morning and although the restaurant was busy, service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. For a first timer I was pleasantly surprised and would love to go back, but we don't have in Cali :(

Didn't have to wait to be seated or have our order taken but it was a while before our food arrived. It did seam to be pretty busy since it was 6pm. When the dinner arrived it was just what we ordered and seemed to have just come out of the kitchen. Food was good, as it usually is at a Cracker Barrel. Will be coming back but not at peak times.

I love Cracker Barrel. It's been years since I have been to one and it still taste as amazing. Their hams, fried apples, hash browns, and biscuits!! Why can't they have any in California :-/

It was loud inside but managable by the end of the meal they forgot my dessert and had to get it to go. They did give it to me for free so that was nice and the food was real good didnt have to wait to long to get a table. They were a little disorganized but overall good. They had games on the table for the kids. They came out and sang happy birthday to my sweet daughter. It was pretty fun.

For every good server they have here, there are a handful of bad ones. It's pretty disappointing from that aspect, but the food is usually decent and they get people in and out fast even during the busy lunch rush. My favorite part of any CB is the country store. Anytime I can't think of what to get someone I go there and always find the perfect thing!

The food is usually great here. Sometimes the dinner comes out one part at a time, and you don't get all of your meal together (which can be a little frustrating) but the wait staff is usually really nice, and I do like to go here.

Service was friendly. Atmosphere was mixed - lots of families because it's a vacation spot. The food was kind of gross. I ordered a fruit cup and got four rotten blackberries and two pieces of pineapple. I also ordered the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were slightly burnt on the bottom... The gravy was nothing to write home about. It's Cracker Barrel, so I wasn't expecting much, but was still disappointed. Southern comfort food isn't too hard to do right... Right?

We love Cracker Barrel and we went today for their Sunday fried chicken dinner, it was delicious! The service was amazing I think our waitress was Dawn young very nice and efficient! We even got dessert which we have never had there. My husband got the peach cobbler and I got the coca cola cake and both were out of this world delicious, especially that cake!! This is one of the best Cracker Barrels we have been to in a long time and we are military so we get around.

For down home cooking, you can't beat the Cracker Barrel for a delicious and affordable meal. I love their turkey and dressing on Thursday's and on Monday they have baked Chicken and dressing. Of course, they have other options and they all taste good, but right now for me, this is the season, lol. Try them out, I know you will love them. They also have a great little store inside as well. ;)

Now that they have converted their food to the tasteless "Michelle Obama" bastardized version of their former selves there's really no point to this place. By their own claims when asked, they aren't allowed to cook the down-home style of food for which they were known anymore due to health regulations, so what's the point. No, apparently it was "too greasy" or something to that affect. That was their main attraction. They were known for their good tasting, home cooked style of food. If I want to diet or watch my fat intake, I can stay home and do it myself.

We arrived late in Pensacola and by the time we got to our hotel, it was almost 9pm (10pm our time) and we were famished. Then we saw the big yellow sign on top of the 100' pole and we sighed with relief that we didn't have to go hunting down a restaurant that was still serving at that hour. For down home cooking, you can't beat the Cracker Barrel for a delicious and affordable meal. Your everyday comfort foods like meatloaf & mashed potatoes, chicken & dumplings, chicken fried steak, pot roast and grilled catfish are all here, almost all for under $10. Plus you get up to 3 side dishes, like fried okra, hash browns, corn or green beans (though there are way more choices). The food quality and service are consistent whether you're in Florida or New York, which is their hallmark. Set a cup of sweet tea in front of me, a corn muffin in my hand and I'm in heaven. We usually end our trips at a Cracker Barrel before we head to the airport or drive home, but this was close to our hotel and a great start to our vacation. We also came back for breakfast, which is a notch better than IHOP or Denny's. Their pecan pancakes are fantastic!

Worse experience we've had here. Service was the problem. Had to ask another server for manager to get coffee refills. Food dropped off w/no mayonnaise or tomato on wife's egg sandwich. Twenty minutes passed and sandwich got cold. Still waiting for check. First bad experience here. Manager did eventually comp. our meal.

Sunday Chicken dinner is a favorite. However, this is best eaten inside as the "to go" orders seem to lose something after being in containers and taken home. Last visit, the greens are undercooked, woody and full of stems...good eats for a goat...will be sure to order any OTHER side instead. The gift shop sells a boxed pancake mix which is easy to prepare at home and tastes great. Solid comfort food, gift shop has a nice selection of items and the place is kept clean. We will be back.

Ok, I have to review this because this was a huge miss tonight,,,, The fact that the waitress brought the soda salad and food all in one shot. the food was all COLD and it took an additional 10 min to get served the hot version. Not to mention when my plate came it was the meatloaf was like eating a stuffed pepper and on top of that. The ham was yummy but yet it was a very tiny piece and the chicken and dumplings were so blah i had to pour the pepper and salt just for flavor.

My first experience with CB has been in Pensacola. I hail from upstate New York, and we do have one but I've always been afraid of it. I really don't go in for kitschy crap, but CB pulls it off in a friendly way. The breakfast was fully legit. I had 2 eggs, turkey sausage, potato casserole (a cheesy potato hashbrown) biscuits and sawmill gravy (a substance that is thick and white and undulates when you move the table) and grits. i don't see what all the fuss is about grits as the lack taste unless they are loaded with butter and jelly, but they were there and I ate them. Our waitress was efficient and southern friendly. Our meal was out in no time and fept me full all day. The orange juice was $2:50 and that seemed a bit steep, but overall I felt like it was a very fairly priced meal. In the country store, Smokey Robinson sings Christmas songs was being pushed by the staff. There was tons of Christmas stuff out and it smelled like fake cinnamon. It's totally not my cup of tea, but i could see how people would love it.

Ate breakfast here on our way home from vacation. Service was nice. Had our table for nine ready within seconds. Food was good. My eggs over easy weren't as hot as I like but were still good. Loved our waitress who happened to be a Walking Dead and Dexter fan so that was a plus. She had an easy personality and joked around with us.

As a chain and stand-by restaurant, Cracker Barrell is just awesome. Most, if not all, of the food is made fresh every day. This is true and good Southern American Home Cooking in a nice and consistent package. This night, I was very pleased to see the return of the Lemon Pepper Grilled Trout. Surprisingly enough, this dish tastes VERY good even though this is NOT a seafood restaurant (the only restaurant I will actually eat the fried shrimp, as well). The trout is never fishy tasting nor smelling and the seasonings are not overdone either. This is all that much more amazing considering that the skin has been left on the fish and the skin can tend to lend a fishy flavor to fish when not prepared correctly. I am happy the trout has returned. With the trout I had the carrots, fried apples and stuffing. I am a stuffing fanatic, but I am not so fond of the stuffing that is served at Cracker Barrell -- too much celery for my palate. I enjoy the carrots (moist with a slight sweetness) and the fried apples (granny smith with a slightly sweet, cinnamon glaze) as well as the fresh biscuits with the fresh apple butter. Anyone looking to try true Americana, should eat here.

My food was instantly out, my tea was never empty, our waitress was super sweet. Easily the best CB I have ever been to.

The best Rueben sandwich ever. And an added plus. Cute women's clothes on sale. Win win.

Worse experience we've had here. Service was the problem. Had to ask another server for manager to get coffee refills. Food dropped off w/no mayonnaise or tomato on wife's egg sandwich. Twenty minutes passed and sandwich got cold. Still waiting for check. First bad experience here. Manager did eventually comp. our meal.

They are busy every time we go, but that doesn't interfere with great service and spectacular food. We only need a table for two and are generally seated right away.

Food served the correct temperature. Busy day but they managed well. Great taste with everything we ordered.
