We hosted a dinner for new Ensigns arriving in Pensacola. We called Butch's to inquire about takeout food for a party of 15. Butch himself offered us a 20% discount, and fed this hungry crowd for about $100. And there was plenty of leftovers! Food was awesome! This is our new go-to place in Pcola!

Nothing special. We had it to go. The pork bbq sandwich plate was below average and on a stale roll. The sides were very small servings. My nephew had a burger said it was good but also had a stale bun that was steamed to try and cover it up. The bbq beans and potato salad were good just only 4 fork fulls of both. Much better BBG in the area won't be going back

I was traveling from Gulf Shores to Pensacola to go scuba diving on the Might O artificial reef. I didn't know how traffic would be so I wanted to get close to the Marina and then eat lunch if I had the time. I pulled up yelp and the first hit I saw was a greek gyro place. I drove by and it was basically a food truck and closed. The next hit was Butch's Bistro and BBQ. Ok, I'm in. I come in and they have a Tuesday BOGO special posted for 2 sandwiches and 2 sides. I look the menu over and the nice young lady at the counter gives me a sample of BBQ sauce to try. It's mostly sweet and smokey with a little bit of kick. Yum! The beef might be good but I'm from Texas and get good beef all the time so I go for the pork. The potato salad was pretty much like my wifes (mostly a mild mayonnaise with a little bit of a bite and pickle / celery. The beans were good but personally I like them a little sweeter. Better then the ranch style pinto beans that I get in Texas though. I enjoy the lunch and take the second sandwhich to go. My car was so hot at the marina that my dinner driving home was still warm. If you find yourself in this area I highly recommend Butch's.

Reviewing a new restaurant is like hearing cats. Something will go wrong. This is my third time here and they've worked out the kinks. Butch's mainstay is his BBQ pork, brisket and ribs. And, the ribs are very affordable at $16.00 a slab. That's a lot of ribs. His Brisket sandwich was very good as were the sides.

After looking at the reviews on Yelp we decided on dinner at Butch's Bistro. The choice was the right one. Between the 8 of us we had just about every burger. I had the Kracken. It was delicious. The pork is seasoned really well and some of the best BBQ sauce there is. I also split an order of the Poutine with my sister-in-law. It was very very good. The gravy is wonderful. Would highly recommend the burgers. My brother had the BBQ Pork sandwich. He said it was very good. Highly recommend.

Pouline Fries (French fries smothered in gravy and real shredded cheese) were wonderful! Veggie Wrap was fresh and Jerk Chicken Po-Boy was a good blend of sweet and savory (pineapple slaw was great and bread was very fresh and soft). A great addition to the Perdido Key area for lunch or light dinner! Prices were reasonable, totally a do again.

Not very many restaurants to choose from around this area. We found this place on yelp and had good reviews. We are happy to say the positive reviews are very accurate! It's a great mom and pop restaurant! Friendly, great service, and clean environment.

Very good food and service. Owners and waitress are very friendly and helpful with helping you make a good decision. We had the BBQ sandwich one order had French fries and the other had the fried corn on the Cobb. The pies that they serve are homemade and the chocolate peanut butter pie is very good. Good food, good service.

Very nice BBQ place. Large selection of food including things not typical to a BBQ place. Good portion sizes and very friendly service. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent food overall. We tried the lobster roll, pork tacos, gumbo, grilled cheese sandwich, and their Mac and cheese. Everything was a hit. Butch and family have it right: great food, fast and friendly service, and a solid selection of entrees and sides. This fills the gap for what Perdido has needed! Can't wait to come back and the rest of the menu!

Great BBQ Sandwich. Very friendly and fast service. I will definitely be going back to try more on the menu. Very close to Perdido Key. Perfect for picking up some lunch and enjoying it on the beach.
