Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

First time here. Was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the food. Everything was fresh and had to get some alternatives on the menu and they were happy to accommodate. Will be back.

I am GF and cannot have artificial crab or fried foods. I was able to get sashimi that was well prepared but a bit skimpy for the price. Good thing I don't eat much! Most of their rolls were unavailable for me.

Came in for lunch and was pleased by the lunch offerings, will like come again for hibachi or sushi. Appetizers of egg rolls were small but tasty. Both wife and I had egg drop soup, I'm usually not a fan but really enjoyed this restaurant's preparation. Wife had bourbon chicken with fried rice while I had the honey chicken with white. Entrees came with a cup of brown or white rice while an order of fried rice was $5 but a larger portion. My honey chicken smelled and tasted great, most of the chicken pieces were large so cutting them to size made the plate seem to double in size. I don't have a huge sweet-tooth so this plate was almost too sweet for me, but tasted great nonetheless. Wife's bourbon chicken was good as well and we were both impressed with the fried rice. Portion size was good for the price, we both had a small takeout box. Service was attentive and quick, and restaurant had a dimly lit atmosphere that made it seem very sophisticated. Really enjoy it!

For the price, I feel that the Hibachi grill is cooked well! The chef's are funny and entertaining, the atmosphere is calm, with the occasional group laughing here and there. You won't find another place like this anywhere around Pensacola with their environment and energy.

Good service and fairly decent food. They have a full bar, and stay open fairly late.

Overpriced Asian food doesn't compare to some of the other restaurants in Pensacola. We ordered 2 entrees but were dissatisfied with the service & the quality of the food.

Was driving by while in town and the curb was inviting. Very clean and attentive staff. We had the won ton soup along with general tso shrimp and Mongolian shrimp dinners. All the food was fabulous.

Came here for hibachi, and Jackie Chan the cook is HILARIOUS! He's probably the most interactive hibachi chef in the area. Other places like kyoto and fuji and kappa are fun, but jackie chan feels the most personable with you. Definitely worth checking out.

Great sushi, great server, great chef. Quite entertaining. Go during lunch time on weekdays for special sushi deals.

Excellent sushi. I had the red dragon roll and it was very fresh. I also tried the general tso chicken. It had to be the best tso I've ever had. High quality white chicken, not too sweet, and just the right amount of spice. One of the best meals I've had in awhile. I am definitely coming back the next time I'm in this area. Minus one star for having the terminex guy spraying for bugs during business hours.

I'll have to say the food is fairly decent but 13 bucks for chicken fried rice that barely had any chicken in it is just a plain rip off.

Went here for the first time with my husband (he came once with his friends) and we both enjoyed the evening so much! We ordered sushi ( the shrimp tempura was awesome, the mango roll was amazing and spicy tuna roll was delicious!) and steamed dumplings that were also so yummy! Then the hibachi....the chef was great! He was very friendly and very funny. He kept calling me Jennifer Aniston lol! But the food was so worth it and you get a ton! I really want to check out the happy hour! This is overall a great place and I can't wait to go back! So far I would say also the best sushi in Pensacola I've had!

Sushi was awesome! Food was great. I had bourbon chicken. Service was fantastic. I will definitely come back. :)

Not good, the next Ice Age will set in before the meal came. I have talked with numerous people whi have been here. They're all amazed it's still in business. Unacceptable service and food. Piss poor management.

This place has horrible customer service. I showed up with two of my friends and waited for 10 minutes at the front door to be seated. Once we were seated we got our drinks and was left waiting for another 25 minutes until the waitress came by to take our order. At that point we decided to leave.

Hmmmm... Being a Chinese girl from the west coast, I was very skeptical about the chances of finding good or even decent Chinese food in Pensacola... Boyfriend and I were feeling lazy one night and wanted Chinese, but his usual was closed so... Yelp to the rescue! Wasn't too far, was open later than the others, and the selection was pretty outstanding. Oh, and did I mention that the prices are quite a bit cheaper than what I pay at home? Score! Friendly service when we picked up; they loaded our takeout bags with soy sauce and chopsticks. Everything tasted great and I was SUPER thrilled with my hibachi scallops and fried rice. Guess this will be my go-to Chinese place when I make the move to Pensacola next year.

I usually don't like Americanized Asian Food, but I thought that I would follow along with my co-workers for lunch so that I didn't have to drive. We went in for the lunch, and the interior of the restaurant was surprisingly empty. First bad sign. Then, we wait. And wait. And wait for a server to acknowledge us just awkwardly sitting at the table waiting for our drink orders to be taken. After we finally ordered, the wait for the food to come out was just hard to imagine, too. I only have about 90 minutes for lunch before I have to return to my office, and with all the time used for waiting, I was only left with 15 minutes after our orders came out to pay the bill and to make the trek back to work. I ended up having to take the order to go while I was insanely hungry to the point where I wanted to bite my own leg off. While I do have to admit that the food was overall delicious, served in good portions, and the $29.95 meal deal is a good deal, it just doesn't justify the insane amount of waiting that I had to go through (and the poor service). By the time I had another chance to eat, it was already time for dinner. But, you could imagine the delight of my wife when she heard that she did not have to make dinner that night.

It was tasty. My husband and I had 3 rolls that were all very good. The Orleans Roll was our favorite, followed by the hottie and then the tornado.

This is our favorite sushi place in Pensacola. They have happy hour from 3-6 & 9pm-close everyday (discounts on certain rolls & beers) lunch specials buy one roll get one 1/2 price on any roll till 4pm. So many great rolls it's hard to pick a fav... oh yes they also have bar just in case you want alittle something extra with your meal

I came here for lunch with my bf on a weekday. The restaurant was almost empty except for 2 tables. We were seated quickly, and our server was pretty friendly. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken with miso soup. My bf ordered the Ma Po Tofu with egg drop soup. My chicken was good, and I liked the sauce. The miso soup tasted simply like water with salt, and there was more green onion than tofu. My bf enjoyed his Ma Po Tofu, but the white sauce on it was sort of strange since it's traditionally brown. The egg drop soup needed work. The highlight, though, was the mochi ice cream. I've never tasted anything like it, and it was absolutely delicious. I'm a lover of mochi, and that with ice cream is simply delectable.

Came here for a late lunch and the restraint was empty. I had flip flops on that stuck to the floor everyone I stepped so I had my doubts about the place... Until the food came! We ordered sushi, lettuce wraps and spring rolls. Loved everything! In fact we enjoyed it so much my friend got another order of the lettuce wraps to go. I would without a doubt come back here again.
(4)Amanda B.
My husband said to give them 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn't have spicy mustard sauce and the mayo sauce wasn't as good. That being said the hibachi food was very good and exactly what you would expect. We went during lunch so your looking at like $10-12 a person and it seemed the dinner prices were at about $18-25 a person. We would definitely go back again!

I came here for an early dinner at around 5pm on a weekend with a few of my buddies. We had initially set up a reservation but we got hungry so went in an hour early, which we found was completely unnecessary once we stepped. We noticed the place was completely empty! I immediately thought that it was a bad sign being dead on a Saturday night. We asked our waitress for the Hibachi and she immediately sat us down near a few other customers that had ordered the Hibachi as well. I ordered some sort of steak and the Casanova Rolls on the side. After our waitress got our orders she served us some miso soup and a salad which as actually really good! A few minutes went by and our chef came out and started the show. He was a real joker during the whole time and I was kind of afraid he was going to make me choke on my food from laughter! The steak was lovely but the proportion wasn't enough for the price of $22. As for the Casanova Sushi rolls, it was amazing! I think what made it was the mango sauce they placed on the top of the sushi which I haven't seen been done before. Overall the service was great and food was even better! I'm probably going to go again this weekend.

I really wouldn't recommend this place as my experience wasn't the greatest. I read the reviews for this place before coming and thought it would be a nice change of pace before leaving Pensacola. I called ahead for reservations for me and my 2 other buddies that were with me. When we got there it was not busy at all (a little odd for a Friday evening) we were seated at the Hibachi table and given menus. I order a caterpillar roll while we waited for the chef to come and cook our food. I personally had the Lobster and steak. My roll came and i was pleasantly surprised on taste. However the Hibachi food was sub par. It was very salty and the lobster was overcooked and rubbery. I spent around $70 on my meal with tip. I would prefer to go to a Benihanas or Shoguns.

2 Stix is a newish sushi restaurant in Pensacola. I had the chance to try it out today, and I was not disappointed! We went for sushi only, so I can't comment on the actual menu items or the hibachi. As far as the sushi goes, they have some VERY original items that you won't find anywhere else in Pensacola. The most unique item I saw was the Green Roll - tempura broccoli wrapped in rice. I ordered the Mango Roll and the Orleans Roll - both were delicious! I would highly recommend 2 Stix for sushi in Pensacola!

I am obsessed with Hibachi when they cook in front of you and was extremely impressed with this spot for many reasons! They were very friendly greeting us at the door, our chef was hilarious, and our food was amazing and even better with such great lunch prices. We also ordered some sushi that really topped it all off. We had the filet and chicken lunch and we ate everything off our plates. If you like Hibachi and a delicious entertaining affordable lunch, go here! This is my new favorite place in Pensacola and I will be returning frequently.

Always satisfied with the hibachi!

Been here twice now and I definitely approve of the food. The sushi is fresh and artfully presented, and highly delicious - oishii! The restaurant menu features items of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese origin, as well as a hibachi grill, so there really is something for everyone here. The food is delicious - but once again, the service is just lacking. The waitstaff was pleasant and friendly but just not competent. One server suggested sake, but had no clue about the types available, their characteristics or their prices. I love sake and she offered it, but maybe she should have had a cheat sheet or something to aid her knowledge/memory. The servers are not terribly aware of Japanese cuisine, pronunciation or of the characteristics of the menu items. They probably just lack experience, and as they continue on they may develop the skills to smoothly coordinate and serve meals, so half the table isn't eating while the other half is just waiting. I 'm sure as word gets out about this restaurant their competence and awareness of the menu items will also increase. I will probably come here again, and as an experienced sushi, Asian cuisine diner, I recommend it.

Very good new sushi/hibachi place in Pensacola. Classy new building and upscale decor add a great option to the Pcola dining scene. We tried some sushi and hibachi grill & the food was very good. Chilled mugs with the beer made for a nice touch. Didn't have any trouble with the service as the previous review mentioned. However we did get there early and made a pretty standard order. The hibachi area is quite small, only 4 tables so call ahead if you plan on arriving between 7 and 9 on the weekend.

Really great food! Got the unagi and the super dragon roll which where delicious! Then got the hibaci steak and scallops which was amazing! Their soup is delicious! Will definitely be coming back.

Wasnt sure what to expect, was happily surprised.. we got their 2 for $29.95 meal where you get to pick and choose your 2 soups, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 dessert.. it was A LOT OF FOOD, for two people... we started out with egg drop soup, which was one of the best I ever had, next we shared our california roll appetizers, I couldve eaten all 8 of them myself,(and I wouldve had I not been on a friggin date!) 2 entree choices, my friend got some kinda chicken dish, spicy chicken I think, he scarfed that plate down, I had the beef broccoli, the portions are HUGE, definately doggie bag sizes, then we shared dessert, we picked cheesecake,.. I usually hate desserts at Sushi places, but this cheesecake was good.. ooooh I forgot the best part, my strawberry daiquiri!!! I will be back to try more of their sushi rolls for sure..very good.

Pad Thai specials everyday and it's Great !!! Also spider rolls are tasty ;)

My husband and I visited this restaurant tonight and loved it so much that I wanted to write a nice review! The first thing that I noticed was that they have a lot of different cuisines represented on their menu, including chinese, japanese, thai, and filipino. They also have some very unique sushi options... well worth checking out (the sushi I tried was some of the best I have ever had... the chicken tempura roll. It was HUGE!) My husband had beef orange peel, and I had pancit as well. We also noticed that they serve shumai, which I have not seen anywhere else in Pensacola. The place had a very nice ambiance, and our server was very polite and friendly. The only bad thing was that they had very little business! So next time skip the buffet, and check this place out! I think you will be pleasantly surprised. :)

Food is decent but the customer service was bad!

Good Food, Horribly S L O W Service...Place a pick up order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I showed up in 20 min to a practically empty restaurant. When I explained to the host that I was there to for my pick up order he told me that it would be another 10 minute wait. Then he went to the waiter who took my order over the phone, who then appeared to type in my order. I waited another 20 minutes for to receive my meal. What's the point of calling ahead if you're not going to begin processing the order until I show up?

Food was good but took 10 to 15 minutes to get a draft beer on a dead Monday night. Also my friend had there kid with them and there is a 7 dollar fee for a kid to have some of your food. They do get there own salad and soup but when a kid doesn't really eat much at all this seemed a bit over the top. Also this is the first hibatic place where I didn't bring food home. Portions were little. Got chicken and steak meal and only 5 or 6 pieces of each were given. Think this places needs improvement. Frosty mugs on the other hand was nice. And food was good but nothing to really rave over
(3)Katherine M.
I have a mixed review about this place. My friend that I went with had always raved about how great the sushi and service were. When we went, the hibachi table area seemed really crowded but there were only two other tables in the restaurant. We were walked around the restaurant a bit and had to turn around while the server searched for a clean table. It took us a long time to get a server. Once we did, it took a slight eternity to get our drinks. My friend had questions about the menu but our server was too new to answer any of them. We waited almost an hour from the time we order til we got our dinner. I've worked in the industry for almost ten years and from what I gathered, our server was a trainee and the only two servers working were working the large hibachi party. He was obviously nervous but I didn't think it was his fault. We will be back because they good was great. It was just an uncomfortable experience service-wise.
