The food here was good, however, the waiters and/waitresses are not. They do not know how to communicate effectively with customers. Me and my family went to eat here. After my husband paid the bill, the waitress asked, "would u like ur change." My husband told her yes, and was getting ready to tip her 2 or 3 dollars based on minimum service provided and cost. Let me tell you, not one time did she come by and ask how we were doing or if we needed anything while there. She asked him, "Is this all ur going to give me?" How rude!! The only time they want to speak up is when it is time to tip.....

Wrote a positive review in 2012. I went back to this buffet again today Nov. 20, 2014. The food is still very good. Highly recommended. I have been here for lunch a few time and it has been great. If you are an Asian, you'll love the authentic dim sum food. All the other dishes are authentic Chinese food. If you are not Asian, you may think that the food is just OK because you may have gone to other Chinese buffets that actually serve Americanized Chinese food. I went there for dinner for a change. There is a good crowd, but there were only may be 10 Asians there. I don't understand why the owner has to serve that many authentic Chinese dishes when the food is not attracting Asian customers. If I were the owner, I would cater towards Spanish speaking customers. I have seen a lot of successful Chinese buffet doing just that. I did talk to management last year and during this trip, but I don't think she understand. I am from Hong Kong. I was a Chinese chef before and I know Chinese food. This is a great place for Chinese food. I would go there for lunch, but not for dinner. Lunch was about $8.50 and dinner is $12. That's the price for week day. They serve lobsters on weekends and it is more expensive.

Not a fan of buffets but damn this place was good. They have a full line of things to eat, even pizza and ice cream. Dont be discouraged by the looks of the place on the outside. Tsao chicken and dumplings were my favorite along with the fried rice. Stay away from the sushi though, not really fresh.

This place is a dump. food extremely fatty, silverware old stained, knives don't cut. Fried foods look dark in color, soaked in oil ... looks like if they used the same oil 10 times. Service was OK. Place is not to clean either I guess I have yet to find a good Chinese place here south Florida. One thing I noticed is several Asian customers eating lunch, some of them families. Not sure if this means good for the place of perhaps it means that all other Chinese buffet choices in Pem Pines are worst than this dump! try at your own risk.

I am from just north of Chicago and every year I come to the Weston Area and it is a tradition to go to this buffet. I love this buffet and it is pretty authentic right down to chicken feet on the buffet. they have six tables and of course crab legs, shrimp and roast beef. I love the shrimp balls and the pork buns and the ribs are great. the only bad thing I have found that is if you go an hour before closing, they do not restock items on the buffet. When I got there, three ribs were left, I took them and couldnt wait for more.. didnt happen, the roast beef...gone and not replaced. so if you are going make sure you go at least two hours before closing to get the full effect of the buffet. Personally, I think they should cut the price by five dollars on the last hour. more people would come so it would be less food to dispose of afterwards. Just my opinion. My drink was always filled and my empty plates kept dissapearing. good service, good food but because I went in the last hour..only three stars. four and a half other times.

I like this buffet. They give you the option to get sushi. The lunch price per person is like $10 cheaper than the dinner price. What really sucks about this place is that one occasion I went with my family for lunch but apparently lunch was going to be over in 10 mins. The girl-owner-whoever she was, would ONLY allow us to pay the dinner price because it was ALMOST dinner, obviously convenient for her. Instead of dealing with her attitude, we just left. Luckily there is Boston Market 2 mins away so we went there instead. So it wasn't a wasted trip. Instead of 4stars, I give 3.

Food Lots choices, mostly good and tasty, especially for Asians who know their foods. Even its well know among Haitians here in the community. (just listen to Creole next table) Patron Average daily hard working folk (and yes, God bless us all for having a job), so don't expect the education level or mentality to match. Yes, you will see people standing and waiting for food to be put on steamers. Leave your Lexus LS 480 behind and borrow a Camry when you visit. Oh yes, very busy after church on Sundays. Attention non locals. This is a place you should visit. No, I don't work here or know people who works here, but this is the best food matches the best price in Pembroke Pines. I won't waste money elsewhere in Pembroke Pines, unless in Bamboo Gardens down the road with a slight higher clientele. Or leave FL, go to Flushing, or Chinatown in NYC for dim sum. (yes, I do that).

I love myself some Chinese buffets and this one is definitely on the higher end. Heck, they get four stars just for refilling my water multiple times! Talk about buffet service. On to the food... They had over 5 different types of dumplings. All were really good. Especially the shrimp ones in the rice paper. Lots of shrimp dishes in general. Good Singapore rice noodles. Good crab cakes in actual crab bodies. Good sesame chicken. Good lo mein. The prices aren't so bad for a Chinese buffet either. If you are about and want to ruin a whole week's worth of workouts or you're boyfriend just broke up with you, this is the place for you.

The bathroom smells like a dog kennel. If that wasn't enough for you, there's really nothing outstanding about this place if you're looking for Asian Buffet Dining. Everything is mediocre at best (as usual with buffets). Even their fountain sodas taste weird! I only drink water when I'm forced to come here with family. *sigh* Why does my family enjoy going to cheap, nasty buffets? The only highlight in which the star is earned: the coffee fudge ice cream.

typical Buffett. My husband and I got it stuck in our heads we wanted to go to a buffett. Found this place thru yelp in the area we were at. It was a decent chinesse Buffet and the items were fresh. Will visit again if I am in the area.

Paid $39 for two people and 1 fountain drink.... From the start I don't expect much from these kind of restaurants, especially buffet style but this place was horrible and horribly over priced. You can easily tell they cheap out with their food and lack any real customer service. Poor kid that worked our table you could tell he didn't want to be there but was doing the best he could. Woman who cashed us out was rude, woman behind sushi bar was also rude and didn't speak a word of English. I definitely felt more like a nuecence than a patron. I was very disappointed especially after i ate the poor quality food (I should have left when I saw the poor quality). I don't know how this place has more than 2 stars

The price is $16.95 per adult, and this is every weekend dinner, they have lot's of seafood. The lobster doesn't look fresh, because the meat is brownish, not sure if its because of the sauce or the seasoning. The bad thing was you have to wait every 15 min for them to refill the tray and in 5 seconds it will vanish, you have to hold a tong while waiting!!!Kyojin is way much better than this....

Buffets are as American as apple pie. Except when they're Chinese I guess. Anyways, this place is one of the best ones I've been to. The thing about buffets is that they won't offer the highest quality gourmet foods (unless theyre real expensive). I love the variety in buffets and this place has over 6 rows of buffet tables filled with so many different things. This place also has a hibachi grill, sushi, and dim sum. The dim sum here is pretty good. I love the shrimp dumplings. They have all sorts of meats, veggies, and carbs to get you feeling bad about yourself in no time. The Japanese chicken and roast duck are pretty good. They also have a bunch of desserts and ice cream. This place really is one of the best buffets in Miami. (Not restaurants, but buffet) It's pricier than most buffets, but that's because of the HUGE selection of different foods they have. For me, its well worth it.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever had!! We decided to try this restaurant based on the good reviews posted, but it could not be further from the truth!! I went for lunch and the staff seemed unprofessional and we felt so rushed to hurry up!! The food was HORRIBLE!! I would have been better of having McDonald's!! I tried the honey chicken, garlic broccoli, fry rice, spring rolls, salmon and chicken wings!!!! Everything I ate tasted like it was sitting out there for hours. The food also had a horrible after-taste!! The garlic break was undercook and cold!! The utensils were very old and permanently stained.... The final straw was when I tried dessert and there were flies all over the food!!! And that point I paid my bill and gracefully exited! Check my posted picture of the fly for proof!!! Would NEVER go back here!!!

So we got in, and everything seemed pretty good. The price on the door for the lunch buffet was relatively cheap compared to other buffets in the area. We ate, the food was alright, nothing special, but then we got our bill. Two buffet meals = $37?! Excuse me? Turns out you have to eat and leave by 4:30 in order to get the lunch prices. Otherwise, they'll nearly triple your bill. That was some sneaky stuff, but part of the blame goes to me. That's posted on the door. In small print where it's extremely easy to miss, but it's there. Then we tried to pay for our check, and the waitress hovered over our shoulders, seeing what we were going to tip her. My friend paid with a card, so the waitress stood there and eyeballed her the entire time. I paid with cash. I put money on the table, she came back with change, put the change on the table, then picked it right back up 2 seconds later, assuming it was her tip. Needless to say, I got it back. Find another buffet. Seriously.

This place used to have pretty good food. I went back today for the first time in about a year and saw that the place was dirty, flies were all over the place and the food was absolutely rotten! I cut into a shrimp dumpling and the stench actually made me get up and leave the table. The lobsters are old and rotten. The flies run the joint and the waitstaff are rude and forgetful! Don't bother! I told the manager that I would be returning with a lawyer if I got sick from this place. I am really disappointed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

If you're looking for authentic dim sum, this is not your place. If you're looking for a buffet, this is. While they actually do serve dim sum, it wasn't the best and the variety not as wide. They do have a great variety in food..just not dim sum. For the price, it's not bad (considering it's a buffet place). I've definitely had worse but it's not superb either, just sayin'. Service was good though. :)

A great Chinese buffet. Once you enter you're greeted by the waitress, tacky typical Chinese buffet red decor and a table stand full of "made in china" nick nacks. A huge selection of food for a mere 9.50. There's dim sum, sushi, that was surprisingly fresh, crab, crawfish, clam, mussels, and of course the regular sesame chicken and egg rolls no American can live without. And my fellow Hispanics..... Don't fret they even serve plantains. Wasn't a fan of the icy ice cream or most of their dry cakes. But I'm not complaining for the price.

4 and i'll tell ya why.... IF you've ever been to HK you'd know it's about the food...The Food...THE FOOD! (I go around early lunch or just past the lunch rush when the stuff is fresh it's good... if you go there at 4pm expecting hot fresh you're IDIOTS! do you look for fresh crab from a red lobster at 3am??) some ppl are so f'n unreasonable... Look, for a $9 and change lunch this is as good as you're gonna get... they have quite a lot of seafood and dim sum with a splash of sushi FOR $9!!! $9! At this price/value point this is as good as it can get...provided you show up at a f'n reasonable time!

Awful, Awful! I've come to New China Buffet before we arrived for dinner at 4:20pm they still had the old food from the beginning of lunch. The fried dumplings had an order, the lo mein and Mei fun no flavor. Waste of money. They wait until all the original food is empty before replacing it. Ive never seen dried out, stale old food from a buffet in my life. The crab legs were not fresh by the smell they had . Again its awful, don't give them $18 when you tell them about their food they give u a dumb look. I had to leave barely eating much. If I could give them 0 stars I would, someone will end up terribly sick from the lack of temperature control/Freshness of the food. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!

Place is good! They have sushi and dim sum which is quite yummy!!!! They have an assortment of Chinese American food along with authentic Chinese like chicken feet. Service well it's awesome since you get it yourself. Jejejejeje. I gave it a three as I have had better. But this place is ok !!

I've been coming here as a child, so I guess it's safe to say it's one of my childhood restaurants. But growing up, my palette has matured and by this point, I've experienced better Chinese buffets. The only reason why I come here now is because this is my father's favorite spot; it's nostalgic and cheap. Because I have been here many times before, inaccurately reflected by my check-ins, I can say there have been some changes, most good, a few bad. Their recent renovation was definitely a great move, with cleaner seats and tables covered with clear garnish for a sleek look and easy cleaning, ceilings filled with Chinese photography/art in which light illuminate each tile -- very pretty, and they added a sound station in the private room, perhaps for karaoke or some sort of entertainment for parties. Some of other new additions I'm not too fond of include the hibachi bar and the relocation of the sushi bar. The hibachi bar is not a big hit; every time I go, no one is in line. Nothing seems appealing at the hibachi bar, which used to be the sushi bar, and the sign above the hibachi bar was handwritten (badly). It now just looks like an open-faced kitchen with ingredients scattered around. The sushi bar has it's on spot with the other food, and it looks a little better there, but the sushi isn't entirely great. They have more selection now but for some reason quality seemingly decreased. It makes me miss the better-tasting-little-option sushi. Also another change was the discontinuation of the Chinese meatballs. THOSE WERE SO GOOD. The only greasy thing I'd actually consider scarfing down. I don't know why that's gone, but maybe it's a good thing. Other than those changes, food stayed the same. I still always start off my first plate with greens (Chinese mustard greens with garlic and long green beans) and mushroom dishes, then my second plate is dim sum and sometimes a bit of sushi, followed by a 3rd optional plate of miscellaneous cravings and lastly a dessert bun (either custard or cream cheese). Everything else, I can do away with. The greens and mushroom dishes are pretty good. Again, the sushi is not so great, but the dim sum is better (although I've tried better), and I get my dim sum with the gyoza sauce. As a child, I always got ice cream but now I've been into the buns. I've tried better custard buns, but I do like their cream cheese bun. In fact, the last time I went, the cream cheese wasn't as soft and sweet as the other times I've had their buns -- it was quite dissatisfying, but it's a hint that they make it themselves (hopefully) and they'll have their good batches and their bad. I usually came for lunch, but I've been there for dinner many times as well and I'll tell you, not much of a difference in food. Only major difference is that there are king crab legs, and that's the only thing that makes the dinner more worth it. I used to see oysters out for dinner too, but not lately. Maybe that's another change. All in all, it's an OK experience, as I have had better, but I'll still come for as long as my dad lives and we relive the nostalgia of my childhood here.

Well, it's just a typical Chinese buffet, nothing special. The place is very spacious with a lot of tables and the waiting time was short. The waitress greeted us and lead us to our table which had no silverware and when I asked for some, she said "no more" and came back with little plastic forks and spoons. We were pretty much eating with our hands that night. On to the food, they have a wide variety of dishes. From pizza to dim sum. The dim sum didn't have much to choose from but the shumai dumplings and sticky rice (the steamed rice folded in leaves) were delicious. Adventuring further, I found a little sushi bar. If you're a sushi lover unfortunately they don't a big selection other than a basic California roll and some single pieces of raw tuna on a plate. If your lucky, they're some fresh. The service was something else. Typically, you eat, you place the plate aside signaling that you are ready for it to be taken away but instead you come back with the heaping plates still stacked on the table. Had to chase down our waitress and ask her to please take the plates away and this happened more than once, I just hoped she was very busy with whatever she was doing to not come and clear our table or even to simply check up on us. Now the decor kind of needs an upgrade. Maybe add in some booths, that will nice. The bathroom is really dirty. Either people don't know how to flush or the toilet is broken. Overall, the place is alright. But you will not find me there anytime soon again. Just a bad experience for me.

The food is a fucking shit for six persons 101 bucks , it's the first fucking buffet too expensive , oooh without tips too. Seriously not recommended anybody, believe me . La comida tremenda mierda para la hora que fuimos , sin comida casi y practicamente eran sobras , pero 18 dolares por personas y sin dar propinas por la atencion mala tambien k tuvimos , naaa que vaa, el primer china buffet mas caro que he ido en toda la florida , no lo recomiendo a nadie.

Can't say this place is my cup of tea, other than the tea. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against buffets nor was the service something to criticize about but let's just say I was left without a satisfaction food wise. I would say this is your casual buffet with the highlight being a few dim sum items and almond custard bun. Other than that it's what you can expect at the usual Chinese buffet with a little sushi station of mediocre variations of the California roll. I was a bit skeptical upon getting anything with tuna, based on the tuna sitting in the glass container (since tuna is often graded by clarity) was rather murky but the salmon somewhat (JB roll'ish) sufficed for my raw assurance. If you looking upon your diet you might be turned down by cream cheese in most of the items, but then again, if you're conscious about your health, you're a will limited on your selection here; although you probably would already know that. As a last remark, you get what you pay for, but I've experienced better Chinese buffets.

The food is good but a bit to expensive for a small variety of food,service was not that good either had to keep calling the waitress to keep clearing our table and they charge kids full adult price according to their height which is ridiculous and totally ubsurd do not recommend this place for dinner maybe lunch and leave the trail kids at home.

mobile review While the food is average the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I should have gotten the hint when I saw 1 and 2 star reviews here. In short, the disoriented waitress implied I was trying to skip out on the bill as I got up from the table but then I asked her: do you see my wife and daughter at the cashier? Do you see she is handing over the check and debit card to your boss? Does that look like skipping out to you? She muttered an explanation and I said: ESOL! she went: what? I said dont even worry about it, if you have to ask you wouldnt understand.

This is my favor chinese buffet. Food is great and service is good. I highly recommend their dim sum and sushi, very fresh and tasty. Will be back to try other dishes.

Not too happy with this buffet. My girls asked for pizza and the people were upset at being asked. I don't speak the language but i clearly understood "pizza" and "papa johns" in the same sentence which really pissed me off! The kids didn't even like the pizza which is a first. Roast beef was super dry. There were dirty plates along the buffet tables as if someone had left their plate n ran. And to top it off there was a baby roach dying a slow death trapped by a sticky dessert... eeewww!
