Domino's New Revamped Pizza is Still Terrible. OK, So I bit.. I fell for the TV ad that touts Domino's as having a totally new recipe, taste, texture or whatever else they say they have changed to improve their pizza. I ordered on line and went straight to the "specials", the sales that are supposed to be reduced from regular price and a great deal. I settled on what they call a large (still only 14") Thin and Crispy Pizza. The toppings I ordered were supposed to have been included in the $12.99 price however, when I got to check out, the total somehow came up to $17.25 after tax and the $1.75 delivery fee. When the "Pizza" arrived, I gave the driver a $20 bill and told him to keep the change. I figured a $2.75 tip is probably more than they are used to getting. I mean, that's over 15% right? So I brought it in and when I looked in the box, the thought that immediately crossed my mind was "Man oh Man... I thought I was gonna get a real pizza this time". So braving up and hoping to be pleasantly surprised, I tried a slice. And was I indeed surprised! I don't know if Domino's new advertising campaign has been as successful in pulling the wool over the eyes of millions of other inquisitive customers as they were mine but what I tasted was something while some different and only slightly better, it to me at least, tasted just about like... Surprise!... "Papa John's" only not quite as good. My kids will eat "Papa John's" but will not eat Domino's at least not the old Domino's. I ordered extra cheese and extra beef. If what I got is "Extra" then I would hate to see what regular is! I ordered Thin & Crispy crust. In order to actually achieve that status, I had to put it into my own gas oven on 375 degrees for another 11 minutes. Look... here in the West Hollywood, Pembroke Pines area, there are several decent pizza places. There is also Pizza Machine (a chain) who makes a real decent pie but has a limited delivery area! (If you live within their delivery area, YOU HAVE TO TRY THEM OUT) But let's face it, for about the same $20.00, I could have called any one of several local pizza joints (who would have called a 14" pizza a medium) and received a real Pizza. My grand experiment with Domino's pizza failed. Now to those of you who actually do like or even love Domino's (and there will, unfortunately be some) feel free to order "Domino's" all you like, let's please just not confuse the issue by calling it Pizza!

Do not order from here!!! This location is a joke! Our order was supposed to take 45 minutes. 2 hours later we hadn't received our order or a phone call to tell us what was going on. We started to call the store repeatedly and no one answered for 20 minutes straight. We called Dominos customer service to complain and because they're we're not open at the time, the only person we were able to speak to was a "store locator" and he couldn't even call the store from his line to help us. All he did was give us the number of the customer service department to call during business hours. It was past 10:00 and we had paid for and order that we never received. Finally, after continuing to call a few more times someone from the store answers!! He then informs us that he was sorry but they were out of pan pizza!!!!!! We tried to hold back our agitated laughter and disbelief and asked him why no one called us the past 2 hours to inform us about that and ask why no one answered when we called repeatedly and he could not explain to us why. He offered to send a free pizza at that point we refused of course and just wanted our charge to be removed, which he did. We will be calling corporate this week to complain about this embarrassing customer service and incompetence. Bottom line- we had no dinner and no answers. At least we received a refund and learned a lesson to NEVER order from here again.

Ordered for carry out, was very prompt service. The guy who took my order was really nice. I have been ordering from this location for years but it had been while, was presently surprised to see that the quality was consistent.

I really dislike chain pizzas, but for whatever reason, their pizza dough is different as if it were handmade (literally). The ingredients are always fresh and tasty! I absolutely love this store!!

I'm rating this based on the fast food pizza chain. I was pleasantly surprised with the pan tossed pizza, it was surprisingly good. The thin crust was also not bad at all. The best part was the 50% off the bill. Fast, friendly service nothing really to complain about.

The ONLY reason I still order from this particular Dominos is because it's one of the few places I know of that will deliver 2 liter bottles of Coke to my door, and I'm a lazy bum. They get something wrong on my order every other time I order from them, and the pizzas I have ventured to try are about 10 times greasier than any other Dominos franchise I've ordered from. Find somewhere else to eat.

I ordered a large, hand-tossed pepperoni/mushroom pizza tonight. I opened up the box and didn't like what I saw at all. The pizza appeared under-baked and was literally falling apart when I picked up a slice. The pizza itself tasted average, at best. Ironically, the coupon was a 50% off deal. It seemed that the pizza was prepared with 50% effort. I won't be ordering from this location anytime soon.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
