Ducked in for a meeting and it was a fine time. I enjoyed coffee, a delicious, fruity and fresh smoothie, and steel cut oatmeal and the oatmeal was a hit! See photos. I was super impressed. I eat a lot of oatmeal, and steel cut is purportedly the best and most healthy. It certainly has a more rustic and robust consistency than it's processed, powdered, just-add-water stand-in, "Instant Oatmeal." In addition to being steel-cut, the oat-meal included thinly sliced almonds, delicious and large raisins, and some heavy-grain brown sugar. This dish is, clearly, made with care and pride. And the plate included some side toast. Nice touch, good job! What a refreshing, new brand, and I am happy this place was chosen as our meeting spot. I will be back. Roomy, clean, and quiet enough to have a meeting, unlike your typical, over-loud and crowded, over-priced, we-have-our-own-language coffee store. See you there, can't wait to try something else! Cabeza, smitten!

Only perk: I got a free cookie for checking in. I ordered a half sandwich and salad for lunch. I got the tuna on wheat, toasted with a Caesar salad. It actually took a very long time ... I waited at least 10 mins. I mean it's a sandwich and a salad ... Can't be that complicated. The tuna on wheat ... Honestly I make better tuna sandwiches at home (seriously). I asked for it toasted and they toasted the entire sandwich, which might not have been awful IF the tuna didn't have tomato and cucumber on it. So basically it was soggy and pretty gross. The tuna was nothing special and because of the soggy veggies I actually didn't eat half (of my half). The Caesar salad ... It was bagged lettuce, and not even the pretty kind and a generic Caesar dressing. They didn't even sprinkle cheese or have the nice brown croutons. It was boring, tasteless, and disappointing. The service was nothing special ... The lady who took the order was nice. The food runner was ... Um ... Different. Absolutely no personality. Kinda seemed out of it actually. The chocolate chip cookie was ok - deff not worth going back for. I've read reviews on here saying this place is comparable to Panera ... Now I'm no Panera "fanatic" but this is in no way comparable to Panera. Panera is by far better (sorry). Not sure if Id come here again; wasn't worth my $9 lunch.

Although the food for this chain is usually pretty good. The service level at this location is pretty much sub-par. Tables and dinning area are never as clean as they should be and the table service always has some sort of delay. Comparing to Kendall location this location should probably receive 2 stars instead of 3. At least the food is delicious.

Good food. Can get busy at times and the wait can get a little longer sometimes but the food is always fresh and comes out hot. The menu has many great choices to choose from.

I really enjoyed eating at this place! It reminds me of a upscale Panera with a similar but different selection of foods. All the baked goods looked amazing, but sadly I had no room after my sandwich. The sandwiches are super fresh to made and come with a side and a pickle! I got the chicken sandwich on ciabatta, it was packed with stuff and really really good. The menu has something for everyone on it and they even have a Sriracha chili which looked amazing! Tip: If you're going to get takeout I recommend ordering online. So much faster!

The food did take a little time, but was worth it. Bread was crispy bacon was crunchy eggs were cooked perfect. We recommend the potatoes for sure.

I went with my family to have bfast. Both of my boys are lactose intolerance. I ask the young lady if the eggs had milk and she said it did. She also shared with me that she was lactose intolerance and that she understood. I ordered a plain bagel and a chicken sausage. When the order arrived it was a plain badge with sausage n cheese. I told the young gentleman that the order was wrong. He placed another order an the next order was the same but instead of cheese it was eggs this time. It took three times to get the order right. Meanwhile I had to deal with hungry toddlers who couldn't eat anything else that we had in the table. Horrible experience. Won't be visiting again.

Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, Corner Bakery always delivers on great food. My first experience with this place was the Club Panini. By far, the best sandwich I've had in a long time. Toasted, melted cheese with the usual meats you'd expect for a club sandwich. The best!!!

I come here often to get breakfast and get my day started working from my laptop. Food is good but the service is, to be totally honest, subpar often. On weekends especially you have to wait forever on things that shouldn't take that long, like coffee. Just too inconsistent with the service to be anything more than 3 stars to me.

Is nice to have more options in addition to Panera. The design is very cute. The food is pretty good. I had a combo meal, small tomato basil soup with 1/2 chicken sandwich and it was pretty tasty. The order took long to come, but it was worth the wait. Prices are good, service is good, staff is ok. The only thing I didn't like is all the Flys around the cashier area and the fountain drinks, is just weird to have that many flies in a closed, air conditioned resturant, which makes me think that they are not cleaning too often.
(2)
Sarah B.
I've been here between 10-15 times and the cashier always seems unsure when I order and they have to check with someone. they didnt know how to use the yelp coupon and are unsure about what some of the items are in the meals. That being said they are very polite when they serve and you do get your food in a timely manner. I love the setting and their pasta is amazing really great food.
Unfortunately, nothing impresses me about Corner Bakery. On two separate occasions, there's been issues with my food being cold, drinks not being brought out even after the food was, orders being wrong. Granted the servers were understanding, but it did take away from the experience. Being that I live so close to this location, I would come here more often being that their breakfast selection is fairly large, plus the cafe itself is very cozy. However, nothing screams at me telling me to come back as of yet.

The service sucks... Period!! The food is good but what makes this place a 1 versus a 5 is that it takes FOREVER to get your food. I mean come on people it's eggs, pancakes and sandwiches... Why the heck does it take 30 -40 min to get this order... When it's not even busy. My guess is there's a lack of management focusing on service or satisfied customers. I will NOT be going back... After being a loyal customer for about 2 years.

I took my son here to get a chocolate chip cookie. It was our first time here. When you walk in it looks like a cute spot, but when we walked to the dessert display there were flies inside the case. I was totally disgusted. I still bought 2 cookies and a chocolate muffin to go, but when I got home I couldn't give my son the cookie. I don't know if I can go back!

The sandwiches r so so. The wait for pick up is ridiculously a long wait. Especially when there's hardly people waiting. Just doesn't make sense. They made the sandwiches and place it on a plate and then realize it's to go after a while

Why were their flies in the case where all the pastries are kept??? Needless to say we left

Horrible food and service. Soup was cold and sandwich was mediocre at best. Bread was not fresh. Tasted like it had been frozen and thawed out. Will never be back.

Good food but take out in the morning is extremely slow! Even when it's almost empty. Today I waited 16 minutes for a little breakfast sandwich. This is a typical experience for me. They seem to bring out the eat in food in good time. Three stars because I only come here for breakfast and my experience is always fair to good. The carrot ginger smoothie is delicious.

Went to the Corner Bakery Cafe location in Boca Raton a few weeks ago. All I can say is, AMAZING! I was so excited to find out that there was one in Pembroke Pines and visited today.... I was none too impressed. The staff seemed like they were out partying the night before because they all seemed very uninterested to be there, very unknowledgeable, and rude... After we received our food, we realized that they had messed up my husband's order even though we both ordered the same exact sandwich...I had also given them a coupon I received for a free pastry so I picked out the blueberry lemonade bundt cake...When that arrived, it was so old that it had green mold on it, I wish I was kidding...I requested a new one and that one seemed to be fine. Then once I took a bite of my sandwich, I thought they had forgotten to put the avocado on it because it literally had one slice of avocado on it after I lifted the bread...The piece of avocado was no more than about an inch wide, lol...The sandwich comes with avocado. I would assume that it would be on the entire sandwich, at least 3-4 slices of it... That's how the same exact sandwich that I also ordered at the Boca location was so why would it be any different at another location?! Since my husbands order was wrong and he had to walk back up to the counter to tell them, I mentioned to him to make sure his sandwich had enough avocado on it and ask for some extra avocado for me since I had practically none. He got his correct sandwich before he could ask for this and when he lifted his bread, also...one piece of avocado the size of a quarter lol...When he asked for extra afterward, the chef/cook yelled to the cashier from the kitchen, "I hope you ain't giving away no avocado for free!" He was actually telling her that she needed to charge us for the supposed "extra" avocado that we should have both gotten from the beginning?!?! At this point I had to laugh bc of how ridiculously easy it was for them to screw up something so simple and then on top of it, be such jerks about it...when we went to get our drinks, seriously no joke, at least 20 nats/flies were landing on all the soft drink machines and flying around. It was absolutely disgusting. The place was just gross and besides the flies, it was just dirty... You could tell no on gave a crap about the place and the manager just kept moseying around looking like she hated her life being there. I would never go back to this location let alone maybe not even Corner Bakery period... How hard is it to make a sandwich, be courteous and customer care friendly, and keep the place neat and clean?? Mistakes are made, we're all human, but just do right by the customer when it happens...

Sooooo, I finally made my way to Corner Bakery Cafe and had really been anticipating the Mac and Cheese dish with Shrimp! I asked that it be to go so that I can get my grub on while catching up with a crazy number of shows on my DVR (yeah one of those days) anyway... I get my drink ready, turn on the DVR, air condition is set, pop open the plate that Corner Bakery gave me anddddddd NO SHRIMP... There was Mac and cheese but NOO SHRIMP! I'm so pissed and disappointed. Yes, the establishment is clean and has a great location and warm decor BUT that means NOTHING when I cannot enjoy the primary reason for the above amenities - THE FOOD! Why is this place even located on Pines Blvd? I think they should relocate to DisgustedBlvd at the intersection of WeDontCareStreet. Pardon me as I run to the fridge to add some sliced up hotdogs to this dish. Sincerely, I can't I can't

Came here today at 3:35pm to order a late lunch. Upon entering, I noticed there was no line and it was practically empty. However, it still took at least 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence. I stood and listened as the employees had a conversation about smacking people. I had to clear my throat for the cashier (Wegman J on the receipt) to part from his conversation and attend to me. I placed my order and it took at least another 10 minutes to get the order (half sandwich and mac n' cheese) really??? Well, that gave me more time than I cared for, because I was left fanning away flies and gnats by the fountain drinks. I stepped away only to notice an abundance of them inside the case with the pastries. This is a clear indication this place is not being cleaned properly. I can safely say #cornerbakery will not get another red cent from me.

I loved this place! First time coming here super good atmosphere a little bit of a retro decor, looks nice. Came for brunch they serve they're whole menu all day so that's awesome. Will definitely be coming back.

I am a frequent customer at corner Bakery. It's a great place to go with friends to chat over a cup of coffee or enjoy one of their many breakfast items. One of my favorite things is the Chilled Swiss oatmeal, is almost like having a dessert but you are getting a healthy great meal! I also enjoy their sandwiches, soups and salads. My favorite soup is their Lemon Chicken orzo which they discontinued for a while but then brought it back into the menu yay! I also go there with my family on the weekends. It is just a great place for any occasion, family oriented and with a great cozy atmosphere. And really, for me, it is literally around the corner ;)

Corner bakery Thank you for the offer on the previous review but I am still disappointed that you still continue not to have a simple bottle of sugar free syrup for my diabetic friends who we frequently stop by for breakfast.

This the second time I experience the same issue. More than 40 minutes waiting for a simple ham and cheese sandwich? This is becoming a norm. Not a happy customer.

Meh....definitely better than Panera. Corner Bakery is another chain that lacks originality. The food was good and the price is right but I personally don't care for gourmet McDonalds breakfast meals. Aside from that, the Croissant was delish and the Staff was REALLY nice and helpful.

Very sad to say that this place has gone down hill, atleast for breakfast. Not only has the quality & quantity of the food gotten worse, but so has the service. I've tried to hard to go back & give it a second, third, fourth chance and I'm sad that it's not the way it used to be when it first opened.
This place is basically a slightly more upscale and expensive Panera. The ingredients are fresh and items are tasty, but nothing really stands out. They do have a bunch of options under 600 calories and the bakery items look good.

Really liked Corner Bakery. It's like a muscular-pumped-up version of Panera Bread. The breakfast scramblers are delicious. So far I've just sampled their breakfast foods (I'm a breakfast lover). I also enjoyed their coffees (they have a good variety). I like the concept where you come in, order at the counter, take your number and they bring the food out to you. Very efficient and hassle-free. They have a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating. The only reason they are getting 4 out of the 5 possible stars is that the food we had this morning was on the greasy side. I don't know if they were rushing because they did have a lot of customers today but.... other than that, I would have given them 5! I will definitely come back because they have good food and good service.

FREE cookie when you check-in on Yelp. Clearly, this review had to start off with the most important piece of information and anything free is important for people to know. Overall, I think I like this place better than Panera. The ambiance is homey and it doesn't feel like a chain as does Panera. The sandwich that I had, the "Mom's Tuna Salad on Harvest" was delicious. The tuna was fresh and not too mayonnaisey (ahem Subway). You get a choice of either carrots or chips to accompany your meal. The one thing I didn't like was that the carrots were still soaked when they brought out my food. There was a little puddle of water on the side of my sandwich, threatening to sog up my bread; and let's face it, no one likes soggy bread. But overall, I really enjoyed this place. The cookie was a great way to finish on a sweet tooth. I definitely intend on checking this place out again.

Just stopped by here again today to pick up a salad for myself and a meatball sandwich fit my son. Highly disappointed with the quality of the salad. Good portion of the lettuce was wilted, wet and brown. Yuk!! This is over of the reason I hate to get take out. Sometimes the quality of the food is lacking. I don't know how long this pre-packaged salad had been sitting there but obviously no one took the time to check that it was fresh. Not even edible. Not going to make a special trip back to return it today.

Good place. I had the french toast which werent even on the menu. They were bread pudding made to be french toast. It didnt quite work. Overall I want to go back because it was first time and everything else looks very good. My wife had a bacon, egg and cheese on a sourdough and she loved it. Place is clean and staff was friendly.

Wanted to try something light for dinner so we came to corner bakery with some friends. This place reminded me of panera. I ordered a shrimp salad and soup. I was expecting the salad to be tiny but to my surprise it was actually a pretty big portion. Surprisingly the shrimps that came with the salad were not tiny and had come with 2 skewers for a total of 8 shrimp. Not bad at all. Free cookie when you check in on yelp!!

Biased because this place is in CA and I had no idea they had locations down here.. Its literally just panera bread on steroids. Excellent sandys, soup, cookies, clean nice location. Sweet! Was elated to find this location.

Stayed Home From Work: Check Slept In: Doube Check Woke Up Mid-Morning Too Lazy To Cook: Check x Infinity I had enough of staring aimlessly at my fridge hoping somthing would magically put itself together. I got dressed and decided I would venture off to pick something up for breakfast and as I got into my stomach lurched in hunger and I thought: me too stomach me too. The only thing that sprang to mind was Whole Foods of which I though: ehhh *kanye shrug* As I made my way down Pines an idea hit me like a day old croissant to the face (Obviously, I'm hungry again) CORNER BAKERY! I have always seen these place but, never tried it out and today that was about to change. I stumbled in hunger on a thousand million (Obviously I've been listening to Kanye) and was greeted by a very well done interior that seemed very welcoming and clean. I gaped at the menu making flirting glances at the various lunch options, but I had to remind myself: Stomach, we're here for breakfast. I decided on the Commuter Croissant (eggs, bacon, tomato, and cheddar) to go with it I ordered a cinnamon pecan ruglach, a vanilla iced coffee, and a cortadito (don't judge me and my caffeine addiction). The wait was a little long, but I credit that to the rush and that they were actually making everything fresh. I ate the ruglach while waiting and it was filled with sugary goodness and the only thing wrong with it was that it wasn't the size of a loaf of bread. The coffee was great a little milky for my taste but delicious none the less and the cortadito was amazing especially as it was made north of the county line by a non-cuban. The croissant was was good, not amazing, but I mean what do you expect from something simple like that. It was exactly what I expected. I see a lot of people comparing this place to Panera and I can see it, but Corner Bakery has the feeling of a diner, I would not bat an eye about enjoying a nice breakfast there of which I plan to do the next time I get a chance. P.S. Lunch: I'm coming for you!

Personally, I love this store. The employees are very helpful and courteous. It's very centrically located, making it extremely accessible through different routes. Some items are less expensive than at Whole Foods, so that's a big PLUS:-)

Great breakfast. Get the French toast. Cool place to hang outside with the dog because it's across the street from a pet store. Lunch is good especially the chicken pomodora sandwich.

I only rated this vile establishment with one star because you must include in a rating in reviews. I wouldn't even take my dog there. The seats were filthy while the table was sticky. The utensils and plates were dirty. I suggest they invest in a dishwasher. The strawberry banana smoothie tasted like hand sanitizer. They couldn't even prepare a simple Caesar salad. Too expensive and for what?? A wannabe Panera.

Lovely staff!! I am very impressed, they bring you your to go order when it's ready. Also they are kind and patient when placing an order or using coupon. Great coffee and yummy food. I primarily stick to the breakfast sandwiches and lunch combos. Everything I've tried has been tasty. Clean facility and restrooms, thank you. It's hard to find a place during peak lunch hours that isn't nasty.

I finally found myself far enough out west to have breakfast at Corner Bakery. As always, the food was delicious. I'm a big fan of the Anaheim panini, which has egg whites, bacon, onions, tomatoes, cheese and avocado. This thing is a winner any time of the day. Also, the blueberry muffins are really, really, really yummy. I'd say the staff at this location is a bit lacking - while I was waiting for my takeout, a line formed from the cash registers to the front doors - but the cashiers were too busy talking to one another to take orders. Summary: Food - woohoo! Staff - meh.
(3)
Jacqui R.
If you want to wait in a long line to order and then an extra 45mins to have a bland breakfast then this is the perfect place! Seems like there is no organization or proper management in this place. Not going back!

Rude service. They forgot to add the chicken to our pesto cavatappi. When we asked for it they said they would bring it out. A very rude server brought us each a plate of chicken to add to our own pasta. She did not say I'm sorry or offer to assist with mixing in the chicken. This is one place we won't be returning too.

ok let's see, I've been wanting to come here for breakfast and I finally did , the farmers scramble eggs was awful, it was cold, I had to put salt and paper to make it better . But their soups for lunch or dinner are very good , they are actually home made.

Very cute ambiance. The cashier was friendly and funny. Nice menu selection. When the server brought my food, I asked for ketchup and she wouldn't get it for me but directed me where I could go get it my self. I felt this was poor customer service. My food was cold when it arrived but it was delicious! The cafe con leche was very good also. Would come back....

Staff was very nice. I got the toffee cookie and the pumpkin spice frappe which I liked a lot. I had previously eaten their brownie muffins which I love while at some of the local car dealerships. That was enough to have me stop by their actual location.

I'm obsessed with their steel cut oats. Add a little brown sugar, walnuts and currants and it makes a delicious, healthy and hearty breakfast!

People here are very unpleasant. Tried to get coffee and all their machines were empty. When I tried to let the girl at the counter know she gave me an attitude and told me to try a different machine. Another male worker came over and started arguing with me that the machines are not empty even though I was showing him that nothing was coming out of any of the coffee nozzles. I didn't know getting a cup of coffee is so difficult! Now I'm off to Starbucks.

Basically if you compare anything to Panera's mac n' cheese it is going to lose... In all fairness, I ordered a salad and soup for my first dining experience at the Corner Bakery Cafe, so no doubt it was going to fall short of the superlativeness that is Panera's fatty fatty McFat-pants mac n' cheese. But even so, I was not all that taken with the food. Not to keep putting Corner Bakery Cafe up against Panera, but come on, they are basically fraternal twins...and Panera is the cute, smart twin and Corner Bakery Cafe is the one that got beat up a little bit in the womb. It is what it is. My Santa Fe Salad was very "blah." Not that it tasted bad, it tastes just fine, but the flavors were lackluster, the pieces of chicken were minced, and even the colors and appearance was not what I thought it could be. The broccoli soup I had was good, no complaints there, but the side of bread was salted on top which had me reaching for some water real hard. I used the Yelp check-in deal for a free cookie, and that was good, but I mean it was a big chewey chocolate chip cookie- and not much could be bad about that. But even then, it was not at all memorable and if it wasn't a perk, then I wouldn't spend the money or calories on it again- and there are plenty a cookie that I will do that for. So as far as the food at Corner Bakery Cafe goes, even in its own right and without being compared to other establishments, it did not live up to my expectations. The ambiance and services however, exceeded what I had expected. Again, comparing the twins, I went into Corner Bakery expecting the same kind of service I receive at Panera. You know, where they act like taking your "pick-two" order is going to send them jumping off a bridge, and heavens forbid you ask for something like extra dressing or chips instead of bread (which they never get right even when you specify at the register). Might as well hand them a cup of arsenic because serving you is so clearly the last thing they want to be doing on this earth. But at Corner Bakery Cafe, the service was for real friendly, it was prompt, and I was actually greeted with a smile. I liked the ambiance and mood of the place too which was very welcoming and cozy. I am not running back, but I am also not opposed to giving the Corner Bakery Cafe another shot. They had a nice menu with alot of seemingly healthy options (all lies) and a good variety nonetheless. I would definitely say to give this place a shot if you are in the area. DONT FORGET THE FREE COOKIE WHEN YOU CHECK IN ON YELP!

I visited on Feb. 16th and ordered a cafe con leche and an avocado and spinach power panini thin to-go and did not have a pleasant experience. First, I waited a good 5-8 mins after placing my order before I asked the lady that took my order if my cafe con leche was ready. She then proceeded to make it as if she had completely forgot that I had ordered one. Secondly, it took over 14 mins to get my panini! The person who I assume was the manager (because he was the only one wearing a shirt and slacks) asked for my receipt and said he'd refund me. I should have known better because its been almost a month and of course no refund. Also, while I was standing off to the side waiting for my order, the manager was prepping plates and returned a plate of bacon to the kitchen saying "you put too much bacon on this plate, take some off, don't you know its expensive?" and I thought "wow, yes bacon is expensive but you might not want to say stuff like that when customers are in hearing distance from you!" And last but not least, my mom got a cup of coffee (self serve) which she said was just warm and not hot. My panini was good but not worth the long wait or lies.. Definitely won't be coming back here again.

This place reminds me of Panera Bread. The menu is pretty good but on the pricey side. The panini's are good but overpriced. It's not quit fast food or a restaurant, kinda in between with restaurant prices. On a good note the Employees were friendly and it was clean. Not so sure we will be back.

MUCH better than Panera. At Panera, the sandwiches look like they were literally thrown together and the soup cups are usually filled like a little more than halfway. The food here is very satisfying and affordable. Also, the bakery is AWESOME. The brownie bites and bundt cakes are to die for. The mac n cheese is rich and creamy and a very good size.

Helpful staff. I have yet to order something I didn't like. The Mac and cheese if my favorite side to order. Make sure you have at least 30 minutes or order ahead the preparation of the food and be lengthy but, when you try the food tell me it wasn't worth it. Plenty of seating inside, great area, outside seating is nice on as well and close by.

First and last time at corner bakery. Pros: Very clean, open and nice environment. Cons: Average menu, slow service(brought 1 meal out waited 10 minutes for the second...we ordered sandwiches/not hard), small portions. Panaria has nothing to worry about...

It took a long time for are food to come and when it finally came our food was cold!they had nothing but microwaves and no ovens or stoves. I ordered an egg and it wasn't fresh at all, they used egg beaters! I suggest you don't go here and you go somewhere that has fresh food because this isn't a bakery or a cafe! :(

Honestly I live 4 hours away but I make sure that everytime I am in the area I come over for some fantastic food. Today was the first time I tried the hibiscus lemonade and I must say it is very refreshing, but a little tangy. The girl working here today was rushing me for my order which made me a bit uneasy but I know that the staff is always friendly and the food is worth it.

My work just ordered catering from Corner Bakery Cafe and it was delicious! Corner Bakery came in and set up a nice display of eggs, bacon, sausage and croissants in chafers (they also brought small things of butter and jelly). They also had a large variety of muffins which were so moist and filled with flavor. I would highly recommend the catering from Corner Bakery!

I was extremely disappointed. In reading the details on their Web page, I expected fresh, cooked to order scrambled eggs, as they raved about. Maybe I caught them on a wrong day, but if you do things right, you do it right every time. I ordered the farmers scrambled eggs, & asked for tomatoes to be added. When my omelet finally arrived, i noticrd a few spongy pieces which usually mean microwaved, or precooked. Not only were they room temperature, but the cheese had not even melted and the tomatoes were cold from the refrigerator as if both had been tossed in at the last minute. The flavor of the pancakes was fairly good, however they are paper thin, I get fluffier ones from over rated franchises. My husband's omelet sandwich was not too bad, and much warmer then my food. Struggling to consider giving it a second chance. There's just so many other options to choose from nearby. If this place had a drive through. It would justify the lack of quality control.

Was excited to hear there's a new lunch option near work... so stopped in to check it out. The menu is overwhelming... and I wish there were more-clearly labeled menus to pick up at the front.... so you can make your decision while waiting in line. Couple of times I've been - I've stood and stared at the menu on the wall and felt like I needed to rush so the cashiers will stop staring at me. (or maybe I'm the one with the issue - ha!) Anyway - I had one incident where they gave my to-go order to someone else. When I brought it their attention after 20 min of waiting they apologized profusely, gave me a free dessert AND a $5 giftcard. I've only ever ordered the half sandwich - half pasta combos. The food is good but it feels heavier (and less healthy) to me than Panera... but it could just be my impression.

Such a nice, relaxing place to eat food and enjoy time with your friends. I love the service, quick, but not rushed. I've never had an issue with any of the sandwiches, or soups that i've ordered. Everything is cooked precisely, and stuffed w/enough condiments and deli items. I have also tried their cookies, and brownie bars, one word: divine!

Quaint, clean and delicious! This place is a small gem in a very busy shopping center filled with other eatery options. Its offerings are amazing thou! Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Today we went by just for a quick fix to our sweet tooth and it was a great choice! We went with the mini gingerbread pumpkin bundt cake - $2.99 - this was a moist, full of spices & flavor delight!!! A just as delicious creamy glaze topping to secure the whole thing together!!! Awesome!! Hubby went with a Lemon Pound Cake Slice - $1.99 - this was just right - between sweet & tart with a just as delicious glaze to marry it all in a nice slice of cake!!! We looked over menu and decided we have to come back for lunch.. All choices sound amazing.

The best sugar cookies in town! Breakfast is totally worth it, the location is not overall packed and the food is good quality. I recommend it for a Sunday morning brunch - cheap & quick.
If you like Panera Bread, this is the place for you. When I got there the line was long but with the two cashiers, the wait was surprisingly short. I waited 5 minutes before my food was brought to my table. I had the combo panini and zesty tortilla soup both were delicious and at a reasonable price. They did forget to bring out the food for someone who was in my party. When it was brought to their attention, they quickly brought out her food and rewarded her with a $10 certificate.

I should even give a star for this place... If you like your food cold and a very slow service (45 min waiting time) then this is place is for you. But not for me, we are not coming back here anymore.

Corner Bakery has much better options than Panera Bread and we do go here often. I have to agree with some of the reviews that the food comes out cold pretty often. There is also inconsistencies based on who makes your meal. For example, some days you get more bacon or more cheese and other days only a few bits. This either makes for a great breakfast on somedays or for a bland disappointing one on others. I also arrived at 0810 on a Saturday and there wasn't any oatmeal or Swiss oatmeal Available. The cashier said it was because they opened later but I would expect a breakfast place to have all of their breakfast items when they open or at least an hour after opening! Either way, their staff is always very polite and this location is always clean which is great. They really do have tasty food and a great variety of coffees. They do get it right about 75% of the time but there is so much potential here if more attention was paid to the details.

Ok. So I have been back several times after my last review usually by myself early on my way into work.. The service has been better and I still love my pannini's. And every time I have check recently they have had plain bagels :)

Nasty, rude counter person. No potatoes after 11am "because it's difficult for us to produce potatoes after 11am." Wha??? Potatoes? As in the basic staple of food for most of modern civilization? Ok, fine, but don't tell me that's it "not strange" and act like I'm some crazy person for even asking...

I was very excited to hear that Corner Bakery has begun to open stores in South Florida; however, the food at this location wasn't great. I ordered the chicken caesar salad and a bowl of chili. The chili was good and it was a little spicy which I thought added a nice tough to it. The chicken caesar salad usually comes with roasted chicken but since they were not busy, they happily grilled the chicken for me. I used to always get grilled chicken on this salad but I guess they changed it. The lettuce was old and didn't taste right. Since I took my food home, there wasn't much I could do about it. Also, I seem to remember getting more chicken in this salad. I'm hoping that because I went there at around 7:30pm on a Saturday night, that this was a one-off situation. I really like this place and I can't remember getting bad lettuce before. The staff was really friendly and the cashier especially was cheerful and she appeared to know the menu pertty well. I did top my meal off with one pumpkin and one vanilla whoopie pie. The pumpkin one wasn't that good but the vanilla one was kind of awesome. I love Corner Bakery and I have had some of the best chicken caesar salads ever at other locations. I will keep going here; I just hope the quaility of the food increases next time.

Maybe its because I have been waiting for this place to open for quite some time but I liked it. Although, I agree with my fellow yelpers when I walked in I thought this is a lot like Panera. However, I thought the food was much tastier. I had the turkey panini and the hubby had the chicken one. We shared and we thought both sandwiches were delish. My turkey panini had bacon and cheese.... my mouth waters as I type this. We ordered a salad that was kind of sad. It was the chopped salad which was kind of like a cobb type but I didn't like it. The decor is trendy and cute. The staff was friendly. Although the girl I placed the order with didn't know much about the menu. But I don't blame her the place is new and she probably just started. The breakfast menu looks yummy... I'll be back to try that.

Great lunch spot. Good salads. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Lots of menu choices. Healthy options. Great stop in the pines area. Can't beat being next to Menches.

Great place for lunch! Can't say I've been disappointed. Everything taste great, but if you order a panini and are watching what you eat always ask if there's butter on it. they put a lot on most of their grilled paninis.

I just wasn't impressed. At first it appeared to me like an Atlanta Bread Co. Some of the bakery items looked good. I had the asparagus soup, meh. I was expecting cream not water. I combined that with 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich. The tuna was meh. However, the harvest bread it was served with was soft and fresh and the nuts were crunchy. I regretted not asking if they sell that one by the loaf. Frank and Frank had grilled paninis. The ham and cheese was good, but the club one was better. We shared a mac n' cheese that was decent. After a bite of the two paninis I thought, "I will need to come back for a cholesterol attack." Corner Bakery Cafe will get one extra chance from me with a custom-made grilled cheese and a side of mac n' cheese. And hopefully with a loaf of that harvest bread that I can have with my kick arse home-made tuna salad.

I thought the food quality was very good but the portion size is off. I had the half chicken panini and a cup of Chili (cost $1 more) the chili was good and hot but the sandwich was about 2/3rds the size of my TV remote! That reminds me of Au Bon Pain back in New England, great food but small portions...Overall, I would go back but after a $12 lunch check and leaving 2/3rds full, I have to be sure about that...

I was all eager to eat here for lunch remembering the many times I visited this same chain in DC a few years ago. Well, the chicken sandwich was bland and service was very slow. The only good thing was the taste of the cafe mocha.

Very much like Panera except everything's a little nicer. Went for dinner and the meatball sandwich was bomb.com and the brownie was even more bomb.com . I will be returning soon.
I really loved the environment and the multiple uses of the space. They have areas to just sit and have coffee. If you would like to have a meeting there it is quite enough to get your point across. I will definitely be back to taste one of their amazing breakfast sandwiches.

A little taste of Chicago for my wife and I. Love there Steel Cut Oatmeal with bananas, granola and honey. There sandwiches are great and there service is on point. There bakery goods are very tasty especially there mini bundt cakes. Keep up the great work.

Went today for the first time and though I heard it as like Panera I liked it much better. I had the Commuter Croissant and with chicken apple sausage in place of bacon and it was great! I also ordered the Mocha Frappe and I liked it too very good. My hubby got the Monterey turkey Panini it was ok. Nothing to write home about. He tried mine and wished he would've gotten it instead and he doesn't like breakfast much. I'm looking forward to going back for more breakfast items and to try the bakery area because the cinnamon roll I saw on my way out looked delish.

We went today for lunch and my wife had the Santa Fe salad . She did not enjoy the salad so I asked for a refund and the manager was not concerned about why she did not enjoy the salad . I had the pesto pasta good flavor but never seems to come out hot . We always enjoy the bundt cake and coffee .

This is a very good alternative to Panera with a more homely feel to it. The menu includes breakfast items that you can still order at lunch time, which is always a plus in my book. The manager of this establishment, Armando Cohen, went above and beyond when I had my order delayed and made incorrectly with cheese. He had it remade, gave me a $5 voucher and even sent our table 4 different desserts, without even so much as a complaint from me. That tells you he's all about the customer's experience, A+ in my book. Will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches.

Delicious, juicy sandwiches. Amazing looking pastries and breads. Wonderful atmosphere. Great alternative to the Panera's of the world.

Grand opening, food was fast hot and tasty. The customer service was on point and the management made me feel welcome. The soup was really good and the turkey panini had me wanting more. I would definitely come back when i am in the area.

Came again good place. Just wish patio was cleaner. Thats not the retaurants fault that people just throw their garbage on the floor. I mean it looks bad this is the entrance to the restaurant. They have one poor girl filling the ingrdients and bringing out the food and cleaning and picking up dishes. Then other employees just talking by the register. The duties should be shared specially cleaning the patio. As for the food I think Iits very good. Had lentil soup very good and a piece of bread. Great value. Lemonade good tarty. Inside place is a looker a d clean.
(3)

Healthy oatmeal comes with a big think that looks like biscotti. Should have fruit instead. Makes no sense.

Their soups are taster than Panera's. Their sandwiches are about the same. The decor definitely makes you feel you are in a city cafe shop.

Went here for the first time last week and loved it! The rustic traditional decor was so pretty and relaxing. It made the place seem a lot more upper class than it really is. I ordered the Asian wonton entree salad with soy ginger dressing and it was freaking amazing! Their salads are fresh and satisfying. Their baked goods section is awesome too. I got the pumpkin pound cake but there's so much more I want to try. Next time I go, I'm definitely trying their blueberry mini pie and peach mini pie. One of my favorite things about this place is their iced teas. They have several different kinds. When I went, the hibiscus tea sounded delicious, so I gave it a try and my thoughts were basically "D#mn thats good! D#mn that is fresh!" Best tea I've ever tried. So far I've only been that one time, but I know I'll be going back regularly to try more menu items and get big gulp sizes of that freaking delicious iced tea.

My daughter and I ate here for lunch. She had a cold and needed chicken soup. She loved it. I had the Rueben. If they made it with real pastrami, it would have been perfect, but it was the pressed pastrami. When my husband came home after work, we went back for dinner. This time, my daughter had the same soup but in a bread bowl and I had the Broccoli Cheese Soup. Both were excellent. My husband had the cheese steak sandwich. This place is a hit for us. Tried the Whoopie pies, Rugalah, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Maple Pecan Bar. They all were great.

(2)Alexander V.
Although the food for this chain is usually pretty good. The service level at this location is pretty much sub-par. Tables and dinning area are never as clean as they should be and the table service always has some sort of delay. Comparing to Kendall location this location should probably receive 2 stars instead of 3. At least the food is delicious.
(3)Rey R.
Good food. Can get busy at times and the wait can get a little longer sometimes but the food is always fresh and comes out hot. The menu has many great choices to choose from.
(4)Michael S.
(4)Sabrina H.
The food did take a little time, but was worth it. Bread was crispy bacon was crunchy eggs were cooked perfect. We recommend the potatoes for sure.
(4)Marcos P.
(1)Allen C.
Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, Corner Bakery always delivers on great food. My first experience with this place was the Club Panini. By far, the best sandwich I've had in a long time. Toasted, melted cheese with the usual meats you'd expect for a club sandwich. The best!!!
(5)Omer S.
I come here often to get breakfast and get my day started working from my laptop. Food is good but the service is, to be totally honest, subpar often. On weekends especially you have to wait forever on things that shouldn't take that long, like coffee. Just too inconsistent with the service to be anything more than 3 stars to me.
(3)Jeanine A.
(2)Sarah B.
(4)Mary Ann C.
I stopped in for a large coffee to go the other morning. Mine was the cup sitting on the counter in the photo. Well, not really but I wish it was because the coffee is really good and the price is reasonable. I was surprised at the size of Corner Bakery Café. It's enormous compared to most coffee shops yet extremely inviting. I got an m and m cookie for a co-worker. It was big but not overkill, crunchy but not like a rock, sweet but not too sugary and delicious because I ended up eating it for lunch. I didn't have time to go out so I guess I will treat my co-worker another time. I've already scoped out where I want to sit when I come back with time to spare too. There is a small table not far from the coffee station that is just too cute.
(4)Desiree T.
(3)Greg L.
(1)Myra C.
(1)Blake F.
Corner Bakery and cafe has Perfect portions, great food, and friendly staff! Just stopped by for a quick breakfast with my dog and it was perfect.
(5)Usm U.
The sandwiches r so so. The wait for pick up is ridiculously a long wait. Especially when there's hardly people waiting. Just doesn't make sense. They made the sandwiches and place it on a plate and then realize it's to go after a while
(2)Jenine H.
Why were their flies in the case where all the pastries are kept??? Needless to say we left
(1)Obrasek R.
well food was tasty ..service friendly but nothing special just another fast-food. Actually is a really nice to find the place to get a warm food in God forgotten place like this one.
(2)Ak K.
Horrible food and service. Soup was cold and sandwich was mediocre at best. Bread was not fresh. Tasted like it had been frozen and thawed out. Will never be back.
(1)Caryn H.
(3)Sonny P.
Always great for a late breakfast or early lunch! Food is better than expected! Always comfortable and cool here.

(2)Terry L.

(2)Yan S.
I loved this place! First time coming here super good atmosphere a little bit of a retro decor, looks nice. Came for brunch they serve they're whole menu all day so that's awesome. Will definitely be coming back.
(5)Gabriela G.
(4)Joe F.
Corner bakery Thank you for the offer on the previous review but I am still disappointed that you still continue not to have a simple bottle of sugar free syrup for my diabetic friends who we frequently stop by for breakfast.
(2)Gustavo B.

(4)Christy P.
Very sad to say that this place has gone down hill, atleast for breakfast. Not only has the quality & quantity of the food gotten worse, but so has the service. I've tried to hard to go back & give it a second, third, fourth chance and I'm sad that it's not the way it used to be when it first opened.
(2)Anquanette G.
I heard so many people rave about Corner Bakery Café, comparing it to the likes of Panera Bread. Being that I'm a huge Panera Bread fan, I decided to give in and finally give them a try. I looked over the reviews and many people talked about how great their breakfast was. I woke up one Sunday morning craving a hearty brunch so I headed over to Corner Bakery to see what it was all about. Located right off I-75 and Pines Blvd, it has a great location that is accessible by many people. Getting over there from the heart of Pembroke Pines can be a bit of a hassle because NO ONE CAN DRIVE ON PINES BLVD but I digress. After maneuvering in and out of traffic without losing my life, I finally made it. I walked in and noticed first off how clean it was. There was seating inside that included booths and tables as well as outside seating to enjoy the beautiful weather and see all the cars pass by on Pines Blvd. They have a variety of breakfast items to choose from. I went with a southwestern scramble with egg whites. The calorie content in the meal made me sway a little bit and it reminded me as to why I'm so cautious when eating out nowadays. Fortunately, they offer egg whites and fruit salad to help customers make better food choices to lighten up the meal with regards to calories. I took full advantage of this. They also have pancakes, french toast, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, muffins, and bagels. They offer a variety of teas and coffee and of course their pastries looked yummy staring at me from their glass case. I didn't have any but realized after checking while eating my food that there was a check-in offer for a free cookie. Be sure to check in to redeem your offer! The food was good but nothing too special. It's a great place to grab breakfast or lunch to avoid your fast food pitfalls. They offer recommendations on meals under certain calorie amounts which is a great addition. The staff was pleasant and made sure to clean up all tables, ask if you're doing okay, and offer to get you any additional utensils, napkins or condiments you may have forgotten to grab on the way to your seat.

This place is basically a slightly more upscale and expensive Panera. The ingredients are fresh and items are tasty, but nothing really stands out. They do have a bunch of options under 600 calories and the bakery items look good.
(3)Atousa A.
Our server arya was really attentive great service! Great food ordered the breakfast Anaheim Just food got to our table little bit late I will defiantly be back
(5)Amanda V.
Great hospitality! Wonderful service! Food was delicious. I dont like Panera because of the prices but this place is similar cheaper prices. Shout out to management, you are doing a great job with your team
(5)Patty G.

(2)Al N.

(4)Kevin W.

(4)Martin M.
Personally, I love this store. The employees are very helpful and courteous. It's very centrically located, making it extremely accessible through different routes. Some items are less expensive than at Whole Foods, so that's a big PLUS:-)
(5)David B.
Great breakfast. Get the French toast. Cool place to hang outside with the dog because it's across the street from a pet store. Lunch is good especially the chicken pomodora sandwich.
(4)soila c.
(1)Laurie D.
(5)Shandi B.
(3)Jacqui R.
If you want to wait in a long line to order and then an extra 45mins to have a bland breakfast then this is the perfect place! Seems like there is no organization or proper management in this place. Not going back!
(2)Doug K.
(1)Andrea I.
ok let's see, I've been wanting to come here for breakfast and I finally did , the farmers scramble eggs was awful, it was cold, I had to put salt and paper to make it better . But their soups for lunch or dinner are very good , they are actually home made.
(2)Jeannette G.
(4)Brian P.
Staff was very nice. I got the toffee cookie and the pumpkin spice frappe which I liked a lot. I had previously eaten their brownie muffins which I love while at some of the local car dealerships. That was enough to have me stop by their actual location.
(5)Kara H.
I'm obsessed with their steel cut oats. Add a little brown sugar, walnuts and currants and it makes a delicious, healthy and hearty breakfast!
(4)Monika A.
(1)Michelle G.
Fresh and delicious salads, soups, sandwiches, and desserts. Service is excellent. Ambiance is adorable. Great location.
(4)Sara M.

(1)Adriana K.
This place reminds me of Panera Bread. The menu is pretty good but on the pricey side. The panini's are good but overpriced. It's not quit fast food or a restaurant, kinda in between with restaurant prices. On a good note the Employees were friendly and it was clean. Not so sure we will be back.
(2)Amanda S.
(5)Christina F.
Great little place to eat soups, salads and sandwiches. Vegetarian friendly and staff is very friendly. I like their selection Better than Panera Bread. Price is about the same. Lentil soup was delicious. Definitely will go back.
(4)Larissa A.
Great breakfast!! My kids love having pancakes with bacon. :) Great having them around us.. And not have to spend hours waiting at an ihop!!
(4)Florinda G.
I went there for breakfast & I was pleasantly surprised. Their French toast is to die for! Their white chocolate latte was good too, but maybe a tad bit too sweet.
(4)Anthony W.
(4)Felicia R.
Delicious! I ordered the half tuna sandwich and half soup and loved it! I would love to try all their menu items.
(4)Gilbert A.
Great location, nice and friendly staff and the food is pretty good. All in all a good place to grab some food with friends or family. Plus side they have outdoor seating so you can bring your four legged buddy!
(4)Marc K.
First and last time at corner bakery. Pros: Very clean, open and nice environment. Cons: Average menu, slow service(brought 1 meal out waited 10 minutes for the second...we ordered sandwiches/not hard), small portions. Panaria has nothing to worry about...
(1)Lizzette P.
(1)Ashleyy B.
(5)McKenzie T.
(5)Jim T.
Regular here for breakfast. Great food, healthy, nice variety, and never packed. It's a great option on Sundays when other places are saturated.
(5)Dolly F.
(2)Christine P.
(3)Cristina W.
(5)eglys h.
(4)Cindy S.
The best sugar cookies in town! Breakfast is totally worth it, the location is not overall packed and the food is good quality. I recommend it for a Sunday morning brunch - cheap & quick.
(3)Danilo B.
Corner bakery café was a total disappointment. After spending the weekend moving in, we didn't feel like starting our Sunday morning off with hours of cooking and cleaning. Too new to have found that go-to breakfast spot, we ran through the usual list of dinners, chains and bakeries and settled on something we didn't hate. We were also too new to factor in the chili cook-off's affect on wait times. And as we drove around in search of a line that wouldn't be in the hours, getting hungrier by the minute, we saw Corner bakery cafe. The décor is neat! The prices sound encouraging too. And they bring you the food? Hallelujah! Sounds like I'm never going to Panera again. The line was fast, but everything was down hill from there. The gentleman that brought us our drinks not knowing which coffees we ordered was not a good sign. Devoid of the same information, the waitress almost not serving our food was worse. And the food itself was a disaster. Everything on our plates was cold. You can't recover from that. They weren't that busy, and even that would be no excuse for stale bread. The French toast was a bland and room-temperature disappointment. The portion of eggs was small, understandable for the price, but they weren't particularly good, or the slightest bit warm. The potatoes were delicious, but at that point we just wanted to leave. The service could have been overlooked if the food was worth it, but that wasn't the case. Same for the portion sizes given the price. But how can I trust a place that can't serve a plate of eggs?
(1)Rose U.
(3)Laura M.
Great selection of sweets.. Great staff
(5)Tadeu L.
I should even give a star for this place... If you like your food cold and a very slow service (45 min waiting time) then this is place is for you. But not for me, we are not coming back here anymore.
(1)Katia R.
(3)Ed B.
Ok. So I have been back several times after my last review usually by myself early on my way into work.. The service has been better and I still love my pannini's. And every time I have check recently they have had plain bagels :)
(4)Tad B.
(1)Harvey D.

(4)Marcia S.
Great lunch spot. Good salads. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Lots of menu choices. Healthy options. Great stop in the pines area. Can't beat being next to Menches.
(4)Alfredo F.
Food is good but I have 1 issue. Potatoes/home fries are always always always always always always cold! Did I mention the potatoes are always cold?
(3)Katherine A.
Great place for lunch! Can't say I've been disappointed. Everything taste great, but if you order a panini and are watching what you eat always ask if there's butter on it. they put a lot on most of their grilled paninis.
(4)Ana R.
(2)Kevin D.
(3)Kelly T.
I was all eager to eat here for lunch remembering the many times I visited this same chain in DC a few years ago. Well, the chicken sandwich was bland and service was very slow. The only good thing was the taste of the cafe mocha.
(3)Nicholas S.
Very much like Panera except everything's a little nicer. Went for dinner and the meatball sandwich was bomb.com and the brownie was even more bomb.com . I will be returning soon.
(5)Jacqueline Q.
When Corner Bakery Café first opened, I was kind of iffy about it, suspecting it to be rinky-dink and similar to other local cafés. However, my suspicion was proven completely wrong once I finally went in. I became impressed by the decor and ambiance, as it looked much cleaner and better organized than most restaurants. They have a satisfactorily sized menu, full of variety and tasty-sounding foods, ranging from breakfast to lunch, like eggs, paninis, pasta, etc. They also have many snacks and treats that they bake themselves, like rugelach (my favorite), cookies, and bundt cakes. The food was really good and nicely portioned! I got a Anaheim Panini and loved it -- totally recommended. The staff is extremely nice and always seemingly content. They open pretty early (6 am; however, I'm not sure if that's for every day), so it's a really convenient place to have a quick breakfast at while on the way to work or school. They offer free wifi. People go there not only to eat, but also to hang out, chat, or do work. I've never seen it get packed, so it's usually a pretty nice, satisfying place to eat. The food gets brought to your table and they pick up your trash for you when you're done. The only bad thing that I've encountered is that the portions have gotten smaller while the prices remain the same. However, my mom pays for my paninis so I don't really have to worry about that :) [*shouts out "Thanks Mom!"*]. Overall, this place is great, convenient, moderately priced, and constantly feeding me delicious food.
(4)Angel M.
I really loved the environment and the multiple uses of the space. They have areas to just sit and have coffee. If you would like to have a meeting there it is quite enough to get your point across. I will definitely be back to taste one of their amazing breakfast sandwiches.
(5)Angel C.
A little taste of Chicago for my wife and I. Love there Steel Cut Oatmeal with bananas, granola and honey. There sandwiches are great and there service is on point. There bakery goods are very tasty especially there mini bundt cakes. Keep up the great work.
(5)Nilda C.
(4)Marc A.
(3)Sieu L.
(4)Bryan F.
Delicious, juicy sandwiches. Amazing looking pastries and breads. Wonderful atmosphere. Great alternative to the Panera's of the world.
(4)Reggie A.

Never again. Cold eggs, cold potatoes, flavorless oatmeal...
