We've been frequenting this establishment for about 20 years and have rarely been disappointed. I think we've had all our family members here for dinner. Consistency! They food is very good and their combinations are plentiful. We often share a combination along with the purchase of a soup and possibly desert. (no sharing charge) Some of our favorites are subgum shrimp, pepper steak, or Singapore noodles. The Oolung tea is delicious as is the Wonton soup. The atmosphere is nothing special but they are being updated. I would say it is one of the best bargains in town, two can eat for $20 or less.

Been coming here for over 20 years and they are still the best chinese food for your buck. The special fried rice bucket is great for big family meals and you cant go wrong with anything you order from them..everything is delicious!

This place has become a family tradition. After opening Santa's gifts on Christmas we watch the Christmas Story. It just sets the mood for China Dragon. We also order delivery frequently!!! The house special rice hits the spot and you can compare it to the style from China Town New York style.

The funny thing about this place is it looks like a little hole in the wall. I went here for dinner while visiting a friend in the area. She assured me the food was good. I ordered fried tofu with veggies in a spicy brown sauce. It was absolutely delicious. The service was fast and friendly. I will say for other vegans there is no suitable soup on the menu...but this seems to be the case at most restaurants. All in all if I am ever in the area again I would definitely go back to eat here again. The food was good and they were nice....even though my friend I sat there for two hours catching up on life.

I decided to get delivery from this place since they left a flyer on my door. My wife and I chose the super family package thinking that we could also use one of the coupons in the flyer as well. Nope. They don't let you use coupons when you order this package. I asked to substitute spring rolls for egg rolls and they wouldn't do that either but they did offer to provide veggie egg rolls. Egg rolls are just not as good as spring rolls but at least they were willing to compromise. They wouldn't let me split the krab rangoons and fried wontons either. I really wanted half and half and the woman said no. I had to pick one or the other. I chose the fried wontons along with the wonton soup and General Tso's chicken. My wife chose the chicken fried rice and honey garlic chicken. All of the food was average and they took a little longer than I expected to arrive with the food. I also didn't like how they don't allow coupons and substitutions when other chinese restaurants do. I am probably going to stick to the place I normally order from going forward. I know I will be able to get spring rolls!

I looked at all the reviews on this restaurant and all of then rated it well. I've been living here 35 years now and never visited this place. Well first impression as I walked in was that it looked like the place had not been renovated in 35 years. Old looking walls. old furniture. Old utensils. We were not impressed. But no judging of a book by the cover. We ordered 3 dishes on the dinner special. The soups were not bad. The veggie egg rolls we sub'd for the regular egg roll were dry cold and not fully edible. The service was good. Then the 3 main dishes came. The dishes were not separate so sharing was not what you could do. The shrimp and veggies were bland tasting although we asked for extra spicy. The honey garlic chicken was okay. The Kung pao chicken tasted as if they used yesterday's chicken. Neither of us ate all our food and only 1 of 3 took food home. I would not be visiting this establishment again. The owners need to clean up the place. Food is not as good as rated.

The food is too unhealthy even for Chinese food standards. I ordered sesame chicken it was sweeter then the sweet iced tea i was having. It has no flavor.

As long as I've lived in Pembroke Pines which is more than 25 years, I've been going to China Dragon. The food is very tasty and is always served with a smile. They are very agreeable to making changes to your dish and substituting if you don't want the dish as it is on the menu. Take out food is prepared quickly and done on time. Not much waiting once you arrive.

Just ate there, had the vegetables and tofu. Really fresh, really good, and all with a great low price. The hubby had the General Tso's and he liked it a lot as well. They deliver, but we went to eat it at the restaurant. There were lots of people there and the service was good, so I guess it's popular neighborhood place. Glad I got to eat in instead of take out or order from home to get a feel for the place. Next time I'll probably order delivery though, just for convenience and speed.

They've changed ownerships quite a few times. This time around, it's nicer service. The food is decent, somewhere to stop by for a quick meal. The reason for the two stars is because the food is too oily at times and the ambience of the restaurant is really..nonexistent.I don't know how they treat customers that do not speak their native tongue bc I've only communicated w them through their dialect. The big guy w the close shaved head and loud laughter is the manager, and is very engaging in conversation. Will be back for their sweet and sour pork!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
