I came here for brunch and was looking to get some sort of breakfast plate. After seeing the picture of Mile High Club, I had to order that. You wait to order at the counter and they bring out the food to your table. Club sandwich looked just like the pic on the wall and tasted better than it looked. I will be back to try their other dishes and sandwiches..

Amazing brunch and sandwiches! Great atmosphere and always good service. Always my first choice. My fav is the pesto chicken panini. Their focaccia bread is homemade and pitchers are only $6!

This has been a staple for my family and I for breakfast and lunch. Being locals they always satisfy and serve up unique twists on food you love! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Just an all around great place.

This place is okay, but could be better. They use a lot of salt in there recipes. That's not something I'm into, but others are. It's a Southern thing.

Always a favorite stop for us at the beach. Fresh bread and big sandwiches. Good selection of your favorite beverage as well. Local eats without the big crowd. And the owner has a fine taste in music.

Great brunch today here at Lizas. I ordered the breakfast burrito and they were nice enough to accommodate me and put the potatoes on the outside. It paired well with a Bloody Mary. My friend had the Hippie Hash and ordered a side order of cheesy grits paired with a glass of champagne. It was a very large portion and he had trouble finishing even half of it. Overall our experience was very good.

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The bread and sandwiches are fresh and flavorful. Cool atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Great lunch spot.

Great potato salad. Has a hint of radish flavor. Served cold, great for a beach day. Tried the turkey pesto sandwich. Great combination of flavored. Fresh tomatoes! I highly recommend. Very nice staff. Wish the stayed open later.

Over the past 6 weekends in the area, 5 of those were spent having brunch at Liza's Kitchen both Saturday and Sunday. The sandwiches are amazing, the french toast, the grits and eggs Benedict are made to perfection. The staff is very friendly, and each visit seems to have the same great service. Highly recommend! Support this amazing local spot!

Nestled between the dunes and airbrush t-shirt shops on Panama City Beach is a delightful little sandwich shop with a surprising array of menu items. We found ourselves back on the redneck riviera (I grew up in PC) for a beach stay and some friends suggested we go to Liza's Kitchen for lunch. Their recommendation was rock solid. The variety of options and the careful attention that every server applied was top shelf. In fact, they seemed to have a conveyor belt to help keep everything running smoothly. There was never an empty table during our lunch hour meal - nor a dirty dish in site. The biggest surprise was the gluten free options - including Portland's own Omission Gluten Free IPA from Widmer Brothers. The next time we're in PCB, Liza's Kitchen is one of the places we will be visiting.

I got the Hippie Chick sandwich, but substituted the goat cheese for provolone and the mayo for pesto spread. It was delicious and very good sized portions for the price. The side of fruit I got was very fresh and sliced in house, and the sweet tea was also fresh-brewed.

We go every time we're in town. We've never had anything that wasn't delicious. Even our picky 3 year old and 1 year old love it. We've had the French toast, BLEAT, hair of the dog sandwich, salads, and breakfast burrito. All have been superb!

The best brunch and sandwiches. Good vegetarian choices and always consistant. A pcb must and ultimate go to for Sunday mimosas l!

Omggg the French toast This place is so awesome! The atmosphere felt so friendly, warm and inviting! Definitely will return for more French toast!

Best sandwiches ever! My wife and I came here on a whim when we were vacationing and we were so pleased!! Both of our meals were excellent and the sides were scrumptious too. Being from Chicago where sandwich shops are a dime a dozen, I must say that this restaurant beats them all. The service is even second to none and everyone is friendly and accommodating. 10 stars to this restaurant!!!

On my first visit, I had the hippy chick. It was amazing! Today I'm trying the hair of the dog and one of their brownies. Every time I am in Panama City Beach, I make sure to come to Liza's for lunch at least once during my trip. They have an amazing selection of food that is great quality and a unique combination of flavors. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Make sore you stop in. You won't regret it!

    (5)
  • Charles W.

Very much liked the Hippy Chick and the Hair of the Dog though there were a few bites of the latter that, when light on sauce, were a bit dry. Not a problem large enough to stop me from recommending them. I do think they could do better than lays potato chips though.

    (4)
  • Cole R.

Had the roast beef and pimento cheese sandwich and it was mighty tasty. Try the potato salad. It's fresh and light and not loaded down with mayo. We will be back.

In Panama City beach you will nit find any better place to eat. I wish they have more stores all over US

    (5)
  • Jessica M.

I had the black and blue. If your not a fan of blue cheese I wouldn't eat this sandwich. I on the other hand like blue cheese, so the fact that it had a strong taste of it did not bother me. It went very well with the peach bellini I had as well. For a sandwich shop and wine store they were pretty busy but service was great and food was serviced in a timely manner.

Once again, this place is AMAZING! I've been vacationing at my family's beach condo in PCB every summer for over 20 years, and Liza's is seriously the best brunch and lunch spot in town. Their hot sandwiches are to die for, and make sure you order it on the house-baked focaccia bread. It is absolutely delicious! They have a B.Y.O.S. menu (build your own sandwich) where you can order anything you heart desires. In fact, I would honestly venture to say that Liza's makes some of the best sandwiches I've ever had (and I travel a LOT). They also have tasty cheese grits, awesome french toast and an array of wonderful breakfast/brunch items on the weekends. Everything here is so fresh and perfectly put together, and any restaurant that is liberal with sliced avocados is cool in my book. Not to mention, they have an adorable patio, boozy brunch drinks and they even allow your furry friends. What's not to love? In a nutshell, I'd suggest that you stop reading these reviews and just head to Liza's now.

So good we went twice! For a group of food snob vegan and vegetarian girls this place was a gold mine! The meat eaters were very happy as well too. This is a feat so it was a score to find for our group of ten. We were in Panama City beach for a girls getaway weekend. We didn't do a lot of driving and there was not a lot other than fried seafood and pizza within walking distance of our condo. We pretty much lived on pizza and rejoiced in the glory of Liza's once we found it. Mimosas on demand with smiles and friendly service. The staff was willing to make anything the way our diet called. Even our gluten free friend got something amazingly tasty and was stoked for something other than gluten free pizza. The roasted vegetables and the hippy chick seemed to be favorites. Everything was so fresh and clean tasting! Love Liza!!!!

  • Kim P.

Everyone In our group agreed these were quite possibly the best sandwiches any of us have ever had. It was so good, we ate there twice during our 5 days in Panama City Beach. The hippie chick sandwich was amazing, the pesto chicken sandwich was amazing, the Italian parizi sandwich was amazing. Any sandwich on their homemade focaccia bread is pretty guaranteed to be outstanding. Also, I recommend getting the salad as your side with your sandwich...it's a lovely mixed green salad with a nice house balsamic vinaigrette of some sort...a lovely compliment to any of the sandwiches. The service is exceptional as well....everyone is super friendly and helpful, and they got every element of our 7-person to-go order perfect. They also have a nice little patio, which is a lovely option when the weather is nice. They have weekend brunch items that all sounded wonderful as well...hoping to try those out next time!

Good little place to eat... Stopped in on our vacation. I had the Italian panisi and my wife had the Big Apple Turkey. Both were awesome. Love the homemade toppings they had on each. A little confused when we walked in about being seated by them or seating ourselves (maybe a small sign would help?). Service was great and staff was friendly. Will be going back the next time we are in PCB

  • Paul S.

I loved this quirky little place. We found and tried it based on the existing Yelp reviews and they were not wrong. The sandwiches are magic here and much of that has to do with their use of fresh focaccia bread. The decor is super funky and has the feel of a hippie beach house, with amusing stickers, signs, and art on the walls. The service was extremely friendly and the prices were reasonable considering the proximity to Panama City Beach.

  • Nick H.

This place is a local gem I go here and refer people as often as possible my favorite is the turkey and Brie it has this balsamic sauce that is heavenly with the fresh house made focaccia . The "hippie chick " is amazing and is a staple of this establishment the most impressive thing is that you can pick your fresh sides and there alcohol selection isn't bad either hip craft beers and mimosas and poinsettias. I hope to see how this place goes with time, so far it just keeps getting better and better.

  • mike b.

This place is good for a decent sandwich, but nothing so incredible to warrant rave reviews. Yes, they put actual food (cooked in the kitchen) on the bread instead of plastic, sliced deli meat. It must be a relative to the area thing, because this place IS good, but not as life-changing as some of the reviews would have you believe. Put this place in a more food-conscious city, and it's a 2-3 star spot. Here in PCB, it's a 4.

  • Christie D.

Always among our best meal experiences when we visit PCB! The owners have high standards and it is appreciated! Fun to sit on the deck and enjoy a special meal! Looking forward to going there soon!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. A trip to the beach is not the same without a stop in to see Liza's Kitchen. The fresh bread is amazing. Very nice wine selection. They know what they are doing and do it well.

  • Sarah V.

I've always eaten lunch but after our Furry Friendly 5k run I was craving breakfast. The eggs Benedict was delicious and the burrito and breakfast sandwich looked so good! The burrito will be next to try! Oh and I can't forget we ordered a bucket of Mimosas! Perfect.

  • Megan J.

Only visited Liza's once and I have no idea why I haven't gone back since! Took my best friend while she was in town visiting. Luckily we got there right as lunch began, by the time we left, there was a line for seating. Delicious sandwiches with the ability to do 1/2 and 1/2! Decent beer and wine selection... honestly, more than I would expect from that sort of establishment. Adorable décor and merchandise also!

  • Karla N.

It was really tasty. I ordered the chicken pesto With potato salad and my husband ordered the hair of the dog with salad. They were both really good yet had one major draw back... The chicken. The chicken was soooooo dry I couldn't finish it. I ended up asking for more pesto hoping it would help and it helped but the chicken was still super dry. Everything else was great and would've been a five star had it not been for the chicken. Didn't read any other comments about the dry chicken so maybe it was N off day. But the chicken though was hard to swallow (no pun intended)

Love Liza's. Amazing sammiches and a great weekend brunch menu.

  • Toni A.

Amazing!!! I had the cold muffuletta sandwich with a side salad dressed in balsamic vinegarette. My mother had a half and half of Cobb salad (dressed in honey mustard) and a cup of tomato basil soup. It is obvious everything is homemade. It's all fresh and delicious! The soup was so yummy I ordered a bowl to go. We are already talking about heading back there tomorrow for lunch again.

Love this place! Came here today with a few friends and got the hippie chick and hubby got the Turkey avocado sandwich and it was amazing! Haven't been to Liza's since last year and it's still amazingly delicious! Every time we come back to visit pcb this will be one of the must go eat places for us :)

This is my first bad experience with liza's. They close at 3 on sundays so we called around 220 ish and asked if it was still okay to order for pick up, which they said was fine. Went to go pick it up and they customer service was terrible. They were rude. Didnt not say hello welcome or thank you. The lady looked pissed off the whole time. Could've been because they were closing but there was still a lot of people sitting down and eating and people in line ordering. Anyways, get my food. I ordered eggs new Orleans which was amazing last time. This time the eggs were over cooked and the yolk was hard, which completely ruined the dish. The potatoes were over cooked. It tasted stale and the inside was soggy. Also the eggplant that was served underneath the poached egg was much smaller than last time. Needless to say I was disappointed in the inconsistency in service and food. I would still go back, cause it was the first time it happened.

  • Tina D.

Just when we had lost all hope in Panama Beach cuisine, we ended up at this place, despite our GPS' determination to mislead us. They restaurant has a personality, the service is incredibly friendly and the food is delish - I highly recommend the New Orleans eggs. It's not a chain restaurant and the food didn't come out of a freezer into the microwave. It's just homestyle food with actual flavor and a little love. The decor is very entertaining to take in as you wait for your food. Definitely the best option for breakfast in PCB.

    (4)
  • Christen S.

This is my FAVORITE place to bring our visiting family and friends for brunch. Liza's has never failed to have the most delish sandwiches.

  • Kimberly P.

This place is AMAZING!!! My husband and I have eaten here twice in the past month upon visiting PCB and we will make it a point to visit Liza's every time we come back in the future. Liza's makes the best sandwiches we've ever had, and that's no exaggeration! We've had the hair of the dog, pesto panini, and the black and blue, and none of them have disappointed. Our overall favorite was the hair of the dog sandwich hands down. Try it and you won't be disappointed! We couldn't recommend trying this place enough.

Fabulous brunch place - a perfect gourmet hippie fusion for us grown up epicurean types. Creative and delicious chef driven menu specials. A not to be missed eatery.

This place is seriously awesome. There's a myriad of delicious sandwiches to choose from. I personally had the chicken cordon blue and Damn that sandwich was good! Everyone in my party was very pleased with the food and service, which was very friendly btw. Definitely a spot to check out on your vacation

If you want breakfast done a little different this is the place for you. This place has a great atmosphere and awesome food and is not your typical Waffle House chain restaurant. Everything they make is from scratch and locals love to go there.

  • Lauren D.

There is really no other place like this in the entire town. Liza's managed to bring some culture and good, non-touristy food to PCB (props). I try to go here as often as possible for the Big Apple Turkey and mimosas. Don't forget a Grateful Dead inspired t-shirt!

    (5)
  • Corey P.

This is the BEST place to have brunch or lunch in Panama City Beach. Period. All of the ingredients are fresh and the service is excellent. If you are visiting for the weekend DO NOT miss the brunch on Saturday or Sunday. All of the items available are well prepared with ample portions. Try the sausage gravy, the breakfast burrito, the eggs benedict or french toast and don't forget the Nassau grits or the cheese grits. This is my usual weekend order and takes me about four hours to plow through it. Lunch during the week is also a delectable affair. The big apple turkey and BLAT are excellent choices. Seriously, you will not go wrong at Liza's. Excellent food at a reasonable price.

  • B P.

Awesome! This was by far our best meal after a week in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Clean place and restrooms. AH-mazing sandwiches..the Hippy Chick, Grilled Cheese, Caesar wrap, and Turkey Avocado - everything was fresh, portions were so much more than what you get these days and everyone loved theirs. I would have gone back here everyday for lunch if it were closer. This is the place to go and the world needs more places like this...Good Food, Good People, and Good Price!

Great sandwich! I had the Italian and it was wonderfully good! Large sandwich, 7" round on focacia bread. Even my picky son didn't complain. Worth the drive from front beach. Also vegan options.

One of the best places for lunch in the Panhandle. The food is always consistently fresh and great. I usually go with my family several times a month and have not had a bad experience. We look forward eating there again next weekend.

Can't stress enough how great this place is! Sandwiches are delicious, focaccio bread was yummy. You can also get brunch with mimosas etc. on the weekends. Def stop by if you are in PCB.

  • Kristen R.

We were just on family vacation in a condo down the street from Liza's. We had breakfast on Saturday and then lunch again on Monday! The menu has so many good things to offer so one meal just wasn't enough for us! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had Egg's Liza (or Liza's Eggs... I can't remember which it is) and it was absolutely delish! I wasn't sure how I would feel about that combo, but I am soooo glad I took a chance on it! The Backpacker was my lunch.... absolutely amazing! It will be on our must do list the next time we make it to PCB! I highly recommend this place! It gets busy quick for breakfast, so get there early if you go on Saturday or Sunday!

  • Claire W.

Liza's is a must every time we are at the beach! I have tried multiple sandwiches and they all are great. I'm not a huge sandwich person and I love Liza's Kitchen. The staff has always been very friendly and we've never had a problem with our order. There really is something for everyone on the menu.

  • Kathy F.

this was referred to me by a local. the restaurant was pretty busy but the sandwiches came out pretty fast and were very good lots of flavor. the sandwiches aren't your typical sandwiches like from subway or jimmy johns there's more thought put into these. You can get vegan & vegetarian sandwiches as well great place for everyone. there is an inside and outside dining area in a small strip mall. the restaurant was very clean had music playing on the radio. the restaurant had lots of stickers all over through out. this is a spot for everyone even children, they do serve alcohol though. I believe from the stickers and some of the clientele this maybe a lgbt friendly restaurant. Very delicious & if im ever back ill definitely dine their again.

The best place to eat lunch! I've had 4 of their sandwich's and they are all top 4 lunch's I've had. If I lived here I would come everyday! If you're thinking about going quit it and just go. You won't be disappointed.

Hippy Chick may be best sandwich I ever had. We ate here twice on our vacation.

  • Sarah Q.

If you're in PCB Liza's Kitchen is a MUST. Very laid back atmosphere, staff is great, and there is a nice patio to sit on. The food is EXCELLENT. I usually get the hippie chick but I've tried a couple other sandwiches and they're all great. The only thing I would say is they don't use a sieve on their soups which means they have a gritty texture. Not my style, I like silky soups, but the taste is still great.

  • A. M.

This place is great! My wife and I have started eating here a lot recently. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is fun, and the staff is friendly. Salads are excellent, sandwiches are amazing, and they have a great beer and wine selection. I look forward to eating a weekend brunch and taking one of the cooking classes as well. Liza's has already joined my list of regular eating establishments.

  • Becca L.

The menu is slightly overwhelming for a first-timer...SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM! :) Definitely not a bad thing! This is a wonderful, small, local gem tucked away amongst the tourist traps in PCB. Really made us feel like we were back home at a local deli. No touristy atmosphere, no touristy pricing, just good hipster-quality fare. Love everything about this place & will definitely be back on our next trip down.

Roast Beef and pimento was excellent! Outside seating, very nice employees. Great place for breakfast or lunch!

  • Jackie P.

Delicious (fresh) food at reasonable prices! This is one of my favorite lunch places (and brunch when I get up and out on the weekends). A varied menu with choices to please your palate. Sandwiches are chock full of ingredients (no skimping here), salads overflow on the plate. They've got great sandwich selections on their menu (Hippie Chick, Backpacker, Caprese) or you can build your own (my favorite hot sandwich = foccacia, olive spread, goat cheese, roasted chicken, eggplant, portabello and spinach = YUM). In addition to great food, you can also order from a selection of wine and beer. Big plus, the staff/owners are very friendly. Try it out, you won't regret it!

    (5)
  • Eric C.

We had sandwiches, roast beef with pimento cheese and a Big Pig. Both were fantastic. Our 2 year old had had enough and she slept on the floor. Staff was nice and friendly.

Very good lunch spot for sandwiches. More like 4.5 stars.

  • Holland S.

The food is amazing! Bottles of champagne were a bit expensive at $19.00. Food was amazing! I just did not like having to wait in line to order and then stand to wait for a table. Not much inside seating and it was raining so we could not sit outside. Overall the food was bomb!

    (4)
  • Kyle L.

The food here is amazing and the staff is great. If you go there for the first time, You order when you walk in and then you find a table and they will bring your food to you. Very crowded so we went outside. They have a very nice patio area and there was a guy outside playing guitar. It gets very busy for Sunday brunch so get there early. I highly recommend this place.

    (5)
  • Nicole E.

There was so much on the menu to choose from, but I had the warm napoleon salad and it was amazing! Eggplant, tomato, goat cheese and avacado ... what's not to love! I will gladly return next time I'm in the area - I just hope that they put the salad on a bigger plate next time cause the lettuce kept falling off ;)

While on vacation in panama this past June my boyfriend and I were trying to check out a place to have a nice lunch and Liza's did not disappoint! It seems like a place that all the locals love and I understand why! The sandwiches were so delicious and I love that you have the option to have a beer. Lots of menu options and friendly staff! I just wish we had made it to breakfast! Maybe next year!

  • Matt W.

A new local favorite! Liza's Kitchen has some of the best sandwiches to be had in the area. I've never tried a sandwich from Liza's that I didn't like. My personal favorite is the Italian Parisi, with a combination of pesto and pepperoni that takes the best aspects of pizza and pasta and turns them into a sandwich much lighter than either. This place closes at 3pm, and I have rarely been when there is not a line to order and legions of other Liza's fans taking up almost all of the small dining room and patio area, so it may be good to be prepared to take your food to go or keep an eye peeled for a table and send a friend to anchor it for you while you order. Liza's has a friendly and young staff, and while the decor is simple the food is of a very high quality and comes from a kitchen staff who clearly know their craft. I believe the chef's wife is a sommelier so the wine selection should be good, but I can't speak from experience. Prices are quite reasonable given the quality of the food, but more than you would pay at Subway certainly. The crowd here feels like a healthy mix of old-school beach locals, recent transplants, and a few crafty tourists being rewarded for their adventurous appetites. Bottom Line: Whether you are a lifelong, dyed-in-the-wool native Floridian or a tourist just down for the week, a visit to Thomas Drive's best kept secret should be at the top of your must list.

One of the best (if not the best) places to eat in Panama City. Always impressed by how good the sandwiches are every time. They have great options for vegetarians which is a huge plus for me because it's almost impossible to find veggie-friendly restaurants in Bay County. I'm not a huge fan of the actual set up of the restaurant, I'd prefer a more sit down environment instead of having to stand in a line for 10-15 minutes to order something and then hoping I can find a table inside.

    (4)
  • Jennifer R.

Came here upon a recommendation while oot. Menu was very different but all the sandwiches sounded amazing. I ordered the Big Apple Turkey because I had never had apples on a sandwich. The best things about the sandwich were the foccacia bread and the yellow sauce. Not sure what the sauce was but it had me licking my fingers.

  • Jinny Y.

Nice local place. Good eggs benedict with: shaved ham on top of sliced focaccia bread, and slightly over cooked poached eggs. I don't like too much ham so it was a bit salty for me, but everyone else at my table didn't think so. I like my poached eggs oozing out yolk, but these were over medium? Picky, I know. The grits were stone ground not creamy, but not bad. The breakfast burrito was good. Had potatoes, red peppers, tomatoes, bacon, sausage, onions, and more. Then we added sliced avocado. it was pretty good. :) Service was good too. I would go back to try more stuff.

Excellent sandwiches, friendly service, large selection, beer and wine. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I always seem to end up ordering the muffuletta and am never disappointed.

We love Liza's and normally go here for lunch at least twice during our stay in Panama City Beach. The hippy chic sandwich is delicious. We recommend the bread and oil as an appetizer. Get there early to sit outside.

If you're looking to eat something other than fried that has actual veges on the plate, this is the place. Very friendly, attentive staff. I ate the warm Napolean salad that had warm eggplant stacked with tomato, and avocado, yummy goat cheese and red onion served on a bed of balsamic dressed greens....yummy. Nice wine and beer selection, too. A fun little jewel tucked along the honky tonk high rise craziness of Panama City Beach.

Great sandwich shop! We rode by this place a few times on our training rides leading up to Ironman. Then we drove by a couple other times during our trip. We ended up eating here Monday after the race. I ordered the Hippie Chick! What a cute name for a sandwich. It had spicy mayo on it... and don't be fooled: it was spicy! Great flavors though. It had roasted chicken, goat cheese, spinach, roasted red peppers, and the spicy mayo on focaccia. Tasty combination of ingredients. The chicken was tender. The only thing I would have added to the sandwich was avocado. That would have cooled off the spiciness a bit. The potato salad was very unique. It looked like a scoop of mashed potatoes at first. Fantastic though. You could tell it was homemade. My husband and parents both enjoyed their sandwiches too. My parents also tried some soup - tomato basil and the lemon chicken. Everything tasted so fresh. I love local restaurants that use fresh ingredients. This Ironman is a big fan of Liza's! I'll be back next time I come to town.

I rode by here earlier this week and was excited to see a lot of cars and people at this place. Decided to try it today and it was not a mistake. You order at the counter, and the staff was very patient as you try to decide what to select from their menu. I decided on a Big Apple Turkey sandwich and it was delicious. In fact, it was probably the best meal between two slices of foccacia I've ever had.

A friend of mine that lives in Panama City recommended this place, and I was not disappointed. I had the Big Apple Turkey, they happily made it as a wrap instead of a sandwich (add some avocado - trust me). My friend had a huge salad with grilled chicken and a tomato based soup. The ingredients are obviously fresh, it's uncomplicated food that's just plain good. Great place to sit outside on a nice day!

Fantastic restaurant. Great food. Everything that I have tried from Liza's has been wonderful. They have an ok beer selection with stuff from Abita, Dogfishhead, and Sierra Nevada.

This place is the best thing that has happened to PCB in a long time. It is a quaint friendly sandwich shop that serves really really good food. That doesn't seem like much but can you name another? The menu is elaborate. The food is outstanding and everyone is so darned friendly. It feels like these people love what they do. I love what they do. Everything that I've tried or witnessed being consumed has always been top notch. Great bread with generous fresh fillings. What more do you need? In case you do in fact need more. How about cooking classes offered monthly with their in-house classically trained chef? That should do it. I am in love with the BLAT, bacon lettuce tomato and avocado on crusty bread. so damned simple and GOOD. I highly recommended you stop here the next time you are in PCB. It is not to be missed.

I loved this place! Great local spot in PCB to grab a sandwich or brunch on the weekend. Quirky décor and the staff is super friendly. You can't go wrong at Liza's Kitchen.

We eat on a Saturday and got to order off the breakfast menu. I ordered the hash, and my wife had the French toast. Both were fantastic. This will be on our list next time we are in town.

Great sandwiches and salads. They usually have two soups each day which are also good. Weekend brunch offers a different twist on breakfast items and is fun for a change. Each item is made to order so be prepared for a short wait as this is not fast food.

Single best sandwich shop in PCB!!! They make it ALL. Try hippy Chik, Italian Parisi, or any other. Design your own. Great wine and beer selection. Kind of a hippy theme. Great staff

I've made this a regular on my lunch rotation. The new location has much improved seating. I'm a big fan of the muffaletta here. If you can manage to make it for breakfast, I do recommend it! Try the Eggs Benedict, you will not be disappointed!

I would like to give them 4 1/2 stars--possibly 5 next time, the food was excellent for our weekend brunch and it was warm enough to eat outside on our visit. My complaint, I guess, is that I didn't think the place was terribly "user-friendly". Now that I know where the self-serve coffee is and how the service works, I'll probably be more comfortable with my next visit. Breakfast burrito was delicious. Also found out late in the meal that they serve Bloody Marys although it wasn't readily apparent in the "order here" line. Sweetie did have something delicious and completely different--Eggs New Orleans--poached eggs over very nicely prepared eggplant slices, I wished I had ordered it too. A neat concept here--and one I hope I can be in town for in the near future is "cooking with Chef Mike" . One night a month, the chef here actually prepares a four course meal as a cooking class and for an extra fee they will also pair the food with wines for you. We will be back and recommend it to friends.

Simply one of my favorite places to eat lunch or brunch on the planet. Classic continental and international dishes done right. Love the hippies. Family owned and operated (love that). Support.

This hippie style place with many healthy menu items for both weekend brunch and lunch (every day) and a large craft beer and wine selection is a very welcome change in the wasteland of "lower Alabama" style redneck bars and restaurants , spring breaker oriented joints , or "country cookin'" restaurants full of fried stuff which make up much of the PCB/PC area.. I tried the Eggs New Orleans, which is poached eggs and creole hollandaise over a grilled eggplant, fantastic!! Get the Nassau grits, they are spicy grits with onions, peppers, sausage, and tomatoes, great!!! Prices are reasonable. This place gets quite crowded for weekend brunch. Sandwiches are available on focaccia bread.. I also tried the spicy hummus with pita chips. The hummus was good, but not great, and definitely far inferior to hummus one would find in an authentic Arab restaurant. However, there is no authentic Arab restaurant within 100 miles of here as far as I know, so this is as good as any hummus around here probably.. weekend brunch offers mimosas.. the outdoor patio seating is quite nice but given that the weekend brunch is very popular you may have to sit inside.. In general the staff are quite friendly and laid back, I really like the ambience..

Dirty hole! If the dining area is nasty what do you think the kitchen looks like. If this is the best think that has happened to PCB in a long time them PCB is in BIG TROUBLE! SHOCKED that this place has this high of ratings.... DONT BE FOOLED!

I love Liza's Kitchen. My husband and I ate here twice during our vacation last October, and it's on the list for next month's vacation back to PCB. The place is rather small, so I recommend getting there early to get a table. I highly recommend the hippie chick and the Italian parisi. My husband had the muffaletta and thought it was pretty good. I like that they serve beer and wine, as well as champagne for weekend morning mimosas.

Everything I have eaten here has been great. I'm a huge fan of breakfast food, so their brunch is always my favorite. I love the Eggs New Orleans and the Eggs Liza. The service is great and you can choose to eat outside on a nice day and hear live music. They also have mimosas and bloody marys and those are great too.

The food was great and the staff was quick and helpful. I got the Eggs Benedict. The muffin was crispy and the egg perfectly done. Yumm! I'll be back!

This is a fantastic little sandwhich shop! You can choose from tried and true combinations or have them create a custom sandwich just for you using their extensive list of possible breads and other ingredients. They have your regular ingredients that you know and love, but they also have things like avacado and brie, to name but two! Delicious! We'll go back again and again!

Cute little cafe/wine bar with excellent sandwiches (Big Apple Turkey!). If you'd like to get away from the screaming spring break and redneck masses and pretend that you're back in civilization again, this is the place to go.

This seems like more of breakfast and lunch place, which is fine because they do a good job at it. I like that it is a privately owned business, built up on it's own in Panama City Beach. It's nice to have independent restaurants like this one, because they always have nice culture and good food. Check out Lizas for sure.

I was in PCB for a week with a bunch of friends and one friend in particular ate here about 4 times during our trip and kept on raving about the restaurant. I was hesitant to try it because I had eaten at two other non-chain restaurants in the area and was very disappointed. I am SO glad I tried Liza's. I got the Pesto Chicken Sandwich on my first visit, which has pesto, bacon, sliced roasted chicken with great spices, and Sriracha (my favorite). It was so good that I went back the next day on my way out of town and got a BLEAT (bacon, lettuce, fried egg, avocado and tomato) for breakfast, which was so awesome. The restaurant is an eclectic place with lots of Widespread Panic, ABB, GD and other similar stickers all over the place, which sets a chill beach vibe. The staff is super friendly and loves to hear about the food. This place would do extremely well in Atlanta as it's a nice change from the standard sandwich and breakfast fare. I will be visiting Liza's on my next and every subsequent trip to PCB.

Went to Liza's for breakfast. It looks very diry inside. I wouldn't eat there without a health inspector's certification report.

We went here for dinner - which is a new thing for them. The food was really good - you could tell it was made with a lot of love and thought. The sandwiches we had were really good as was the hummus. They also have a cool wine bar that allows you to have tastes of different wines which we didnt take part in but would like to. We also had a cinnamon roll that was delicious. I cannot wait to go back for lunch and brunch. Plus they are very kid friendly.
