Hubby brought back a wrap and the next day had a meatball sandwich. It was good. Nothing to jump up and down about. He enjoyed it better than me. Fresh ingredients. Would return.

Great hole in the wall. Delicious sandwiches. I had the sloppy joe & it was outstanding. My wife had a buffalo chx sandwich which she really enjoyed. Fun decor and friendly people. Wish we found this place earlier in the week!

This place is awesome. Was looking for a quick cheap lunch and their sloppy joe hit the spot. They also make an amazing cappuccino with tons of foamy goodness too. Oh and the guys working there were really fun, totally reminded me of the stoner kids from highschool (in a good way).

R U Kidding me!!!!! If the one who took my order, takes yours, hopefully there isn't some cute boy she's all over cause it could take awhile. First of all, after her delayed reaction ( and being told by only I assumed was the manager) took my order. I paid and I think she expected a tip for pressing a few buttons. Haha!! Overall the sandwich was ok but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm going to assume that the Fatty's on Thomas Drive location is affiliated in some way. If it is...GREAT stuff guys, went there today, had the Cuban, wife had The Chief/Chef Salad. Impressed w/ service, only ache was the meat was not cut into smaller pieces on the salad and was difficult to navigate with a plastic knife. But other than that...Great stuff, wish you well in your new home~!

Holy Shit, this place is great. Amazing sandwiches. Very cool, shady looking pothead haven with crazy names for menu items.. Great music. I don't even know what I got, but whatever cheese and mustard/sauce was on it was great. We stopped in after the movies, but next time I will be smuggling one of these sammiches into the theater. A lot of places hide the fact that their sandwiches suck by heating them up/ toasting them. A good sandwich with quality ingredients should be able to be eaten at any temp. Any crappy meat covered in gooey melted cheese can fool you, but this place is legit. It is dimly lit and covered in rock posters and quite possibly the best sandwich I have ever had.

Good fun, fun environment. Look forward to shop opening on Thomas across from the Navy base soon.

Whooooa dude, so I totally just landed in what looks like a stoner's basement complete with food that would Jackie Chan your smoke induced munchies to the moon. Fat brownies, cookies, chips, hefty sandwiches, generous salads, tasty wraps, St. Louis style pizza, even jambalaya float around the room like mini meteorites waiting to explode in your belly. Everything about Fatty's is unique from the psychedelic hanging lights to the long funky door converted into a table, to the bead curtain shimmering in the black light, next to the solar system infused black bathroom doors. Fatty's bright red walls are covered with tons of posters of varying music legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy and other bands like Sex Pistols and AC/DC. Wayne and Garth would freaking love it here. I can imagine Wayne posted up on the hand chair daydreaming of Cassandra Wong, while Garth strums the air guitar on the antique couch in the corner. **cue Dreamweaver** After you consume your midnight toker sandwich, if you remember, you can even check your email on one of two computers available for diners. Though Fatty's may seem like it caters to the young surfer, stoner, or aging hippy crowd, it fits perfectly with the young pups as well, mustering up an array of kid-friendly goodies like PB&J, hot dogs, corn dogs, mac-n-cheese, and quesadillas. Fatty's was my faithful sandwich joint while visiting the lovely PCB. While indulging yourself on one of their delicious fatties, I wouldn't be surprised if you neglected the well-known rule of etiquette to chomp, chomp, pass.

Excellent food, had the Italian Stallion, perfect , great rock n roll atmosphere, heard my favorite Meade th songs the entire time I ate. Perfect restaurant, prefect atmosphere, and the best sandwich I've had in my life.

  • Jason H.

Pros: Probably the best prices for good subs in town. Very cool vibe inside if you're into classic rock. Cons: Location stinks. Traffic can make it difficult to turn into their lot.

Fatty's does not live up too it's name. The sandwiches me and my friend had we're Ruben and Cheesesteak Fatty's. There sandwiches are not Fat and only about 6" long and not bulging with meat for sure. Meals were both 11.00 and change with small drink and bag chips. Both sandwiches weren't seasoned simple salt and pepper go a long way. For the price of a sandwich here you get way more for your money at firehouse I hate to say. I have yet to find a great sandwich place in PC or PCB and I have been searching for 5yrs. None of the hoagie or sandwiches places hold a candle to a real northern hoagie or cheesesteak I can get a full 12" roll filled for just over 10.00 up north. Guess will have to continue to make my own. Sorry Fatty you guys need to change your name.

I had the Cheese Steak Charlie and it was excellent. But the next time it's the Fatty Burger all the way! They looked awesome!

  • Eric E.

This is a really fun place with great food at fair prices. My family of four enjoyed it. My 5 year old especially enjoyed the black light hallway by the bathrooms. My wife's Cuban was the best out of the three sandwiches we purchased. The muffuletta bread used on the traditional sandwich as well as the Italian stallion was a little too dry and crumbly. The meat on the stallion was good, but portions were a little on the lite side. Everything tasted great though and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely go back.

    (4)
  • Fletcher R.

Pretty good food, and pretty cheap too. I'm giving it four because of the location. It's literally under a bridge and tucked away between some other stores. You rreeaalllly have to look to find it.

    (4)
  • Charlee G.

Stopped by to try the muffaletta. Only good thing is that it is large. Other than that it is NOT a muffaletta. Dry bread. Shaved turkey instead of mortadealla. One thin layer of salami. Mostly shaved ham and shaved turkey! Got worse, instead of olive salad they had some black olives chopped and mixed with mayo! This was a large (and expensive--$16) sub not a muffaletta. Will not be back.

  • Eddie C.

Definitely one of the best sandwich shops in town. Despite what one reviewer said about the size, my sandwich (the midnight toker) was more than amply stuffed with meat. My girlfriend go the Cuban and I've never been a fan of the Cuban sandwich but we were both impressed with the quality and size of the sandwiches. Definitely need to try this place if you're in town.

    (5)
  • Christopher P.

Amazing sanwiches! Size and quality are on point! Great for lunch before you hit the beach or after since its right there. Like the hippie/stoner vibe going on as well, awesome interior decoration. The names of the sandwiches are hilarious as well. Prices aren't the cheapest but you pay for what you get..quality. I have tried many of the sandwiches but you cannot go wrong with the Alburquerque Turkey or the Heart Stopper....MMMM MMMM!

  • Leseley W.

We just spent 5 days in PCB and this was by far the best place we ate. We tried 3 of the wraps and the breakfast pizza. The portion sizes will not disappoint. If we had found this place the first day we would have eaten here everyday, for sure check them out.

    (5)
  • Patrick F.

My girlfriend and I visited Fatty's recently and we were very satisfied. She ordered the Reuben and I had the Midnight Toker both were excellent. The atmosphere was fun and the service was good. I would recommend it to anyone.

    (5)
  • Kelly R.

Sooooo GOOD! The staff is helpful & friendly. All the food was good. Breakfast pizza rocked & I loved the sandwiches & wraps. They made all of the sides & the pasta salad & potato salad were excellent. I wish we had one in Chicago. We made multiple trips to this spot during our vacation. The prices were also reasonable compared to most of the other places in Pier Park. We were not crazy about any of the other food in that area so after a couple disappointments we stuck with Fatty's. I do think they should change the name because it is NOT just a sandwich shop.

    (5)
  • Matt H.

We arrived in PCB relatively late so we just wanted to grab something quick so like always I fired up Yelp. Fatty's came up on top with a five star rating. The group I was with was skeptical but I assured them that it would be good. My reputation being on the line, we walked across the way (our condos parking garage was in back of the store basically) and opened the door to a very stonery atmosphere. It reminded me of Mellow Mushroom at first. The menu while containing typical sandwiches are made different ways. I had the Albuquerque Turkey which was AWESOME (for a sandwich)!!! My wife had a club sandwich of sorts and I can't remember the name but she also agreed that it was pretty great! Thanks Yelp for keeping my reputation in tact!!! And also, the brownies are pretty delish also.

  • Chris B.

Its a small hole in the wall place but as soon as you walk in you know its going to be awesome! Great rock music playing with cool memorabilia all over the place. The people are fun to talk to, the menu is fun to read and best of all the food is great!!!

    (5)
  • Jesse T.

Absolutely five star place. Food was delicious, the people were friendly and the atmosphere very cool. Definitely recommend the midnight toker sub.

    (5)
  • Bonnie H.

    Unique decor and excellent sandwiches!

    (5)
  • Ed G.

Fattys is a stoners paradise but it should also appeal to anyone with an appetite for good food. Although the R&R posters and blacklights are geared to a hip crowd, there's no reason you couldn't take your kids. They'll love it too! I had a meat-heavy gyro that was so good, we went back the next day and I had a different meat heavy gyro (sorry I'm not more adventurous). My wife and daughter don't eat red meat but they found plenty to love on the menu. The modest prices were a pleasant surprise considering the offerings and generous portions. You've gotta try the sweet tea!

    (5)
  • Chip J.

What more can be said? The absolute best sandwich shop I have visited in Florida. I visited twice on my recent visit and have had the Albuquerque Turkey and Midnight Toker. Both amazing. Chips are included in price which you don't see at many sandwich eateries. Decor is British Invasion rock n roll. When you take a number, you receive it on a 33 1/3 RPM record. Expect at least 10 minute wait for food. You may want to call ahead of walking over from Calypso, Osprey, or Driftwood if you want no wait. Staff is down to earth and work on building rapport with customers. Please visit when in PCB.

    (5)
  • Laura M.

I'm not sure how this place is so high rated. Pretty sure we were the only not stoned people there. Posters on walls are not appropriate for anyone under 18. My sandwich had barely any meat. My husband had the meat ball sub and enjoyed it.

    (2)
  • Emily B.

One of the coolest atmospheres. A good selection of sandwich items and friendly staff. Good prices and good portions.

    (5)
  • Cheezwhiz R.

Top spot for sandwiched with large potion. Great to take to the beach for picnic. Some of the best sandwiches around. Locals go here and it can't be beat

    (4)
  • Dana G.

My family and I tried Fatty's after reading a review on Yelp. We were not disappointed the service is quick and the food was great. The best part is we could all find something we liked and it was close to the hotel.

    (4)
  • Greg M.

Great sandwiches with a cool vibe, just a block off the beach. Spoiler alert: you will not, however, be able to see the beach from your table. Don't let that stop you from coming in for the best meatball sub in PCB!

    (4)
  • Kirsten P.

I decided to try this place again and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap for delivery. The wrap was huge! And it tasted fabulous. Delivery is free with a 10 dollar or more in close proximity. Nice customer service and wonderful food this time. Glad I decided to give this place another shot!

    (5)
  • Arthur H.

Excellent sandwich shop! Good selection and a great atmosphere with the walls covered in music and band posters and record album covers. Very friendly staff and fast service. We had a Rueben and a Philly. Both were excellent with good bread and meats. Will be back!

    (4)
  • Arlene B.

Phenomenal. I had a burger and my bf had a sub. I tell you it was good. I love the chillaxed atmosphere as well! I need to try their pizza!

    (5)
  • Judson H.

Such a fantastic sandwich shop. It's got a really beachy feel being right on the other side of the road from the beach. I come here every time I'm in Panama City, and I've never been disappointed.

    (5)
  • Teresa T.

I ordered the Southwest Turkey Wrap to go; the chip selection is awesome. A little bit of a wait but worth it when I got the wrap home and saw the size of it; huge for the price of $7 (two meals for me). I didn't realize it came cold & next time I will ask it to be heated. PS Loved the old posters of movies and bands; very cool!

  • Will L.

Fatty's... too good. I mean that. this place is sinfully delicious. I went in here on my best behavior, expecting to get a lean sandwich or possibly a salad. After looking over the menu, I couldn't resist the muffaletta, here's the thing about their muffalletta: It's enough to feed a small army. Needless to say, it ended up being my meals for the next two days. The staff was overly nice and very attentive. In addition, I could have stared at all the records on the walls for days.

    (4)
  • E O.

On vacation this was a great sandwich shop. I would take this shop over subway and Jimmie johns any day of the week. I also like the atmosphere and the decor. The menu is very creative and I went back the next day to have another sandwhich, it was that good.

    (5)
  • Mike H.

Another one of my favorite places eat they have the best sandwich on the beach the pizza is goof tell them light sauce. Midnight toker is my favorite Tami loves the Albuquerque turkey. Try them all can't go wrong charley know how to build a great sandwich all boars head meets

  • Bonnie L.

Good food, cool atmosphere, nice people. Our kids had the biggest pb&j's ever and loved 'em! We definitely recommend Fatty's.

  • Stacy H.

We had an Albuquerque Turkey, awesome, Italian Stallion, awesome, Southwest Turkey Wrap, awesome, and a Club, yep-Awesome!!! The best is definitely the Italian Stallion!!!!

  • Dillon S.

Dude we just went here because of all the Yelp following its been getting and it was totally worth it. This is the Cadillac of sandwich shops. If you're looking for an inexpensive lunch, semi light eating then this is your place. I'm a traditionalist so I had their version of the French Dip aka French Dunker, and it was very tasty and full of flavor. My wife had the turkey bacon and cheese Midnight Toker and it was great as well. The Dunkers bread was not hard nor soft, it was perfect for the au jus, which was excellent as well. The sauce had mini minced onions in it but not enough to detract anti onioners like myself. For 10 bucks or less you and your friends can enjoy a great meal.

If I was writing this review yesterday, it would easily be 4-5 stars. I had the reuben, my gf had a chef salad. They were so good we had to come back before we left town. Today upon entering, the moody stoner girl working the register looked right at us, and then walked to the bathroom not saying a word. When we did go to order my gf tried to get the meatball sub, while finishing the name of the sandwich she was rudely cut off with the phrase "we don't have meatballs today" said in a tone that made it sound as if we should have known this. I ordered the reuben again. It was a bit busy so it took a while to get our food, which is no big deal to us, but when the food was delivered, immediately we knew something was wrong, but it was dumped in front of us and the guy hustled off so quickly that we couldn't even respond. Also the register girl disappeared. My reuben didn't even seem like it was cooked, the bread was definitely stale, and there was hardly any cheese. But at least mine was edible. My gf's burger was obviously some junk frozen patty, her bun was stale, there was a half slice of cheese only covering half the burger, and there was one small slice of bacon, split in half, criss-crossed over the meat. It tasted like a school lunch burger. Unfortunately we couldn't even complain because we couldn't find anybody to complain to. I really don't understand how a place could be so good one day and so awful the next.

We just finished a late lunch at Fattys and we are now lamenting the fact that we found this place at the end of our trip. The kids meals were very reasonably priced at $3 and $4 depending on what they got. The kids portions were very large for the price. Our sandwiches were HUGE and very reasonable, especially when you factor in how much meat went on them. The food quality was really good too. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. The staff was very polite to us. They had all sorts of record covers and posters on the walls. They gave us an old vinyl for our order marker. It was very neat. My 8 year old was in heaven looking at all the stuff everywhere. We will definitely go again as soon as we can!

    (5)
  • Julie C.

My family came here for lunch with a big group. The place is pretty small but since we came late, all 24 of us managed to get a seat. The sandwiches were really really good!! My daughter had the kids pizza and didn't like that so much, so maybe stick with their sandwiches and wraps here. I didn't care for the atmosphere, it's decorated with 60's rock n roll paraphernalia, was dark, and felt cluttery and dirty. I would get it to go next time and eat on the beach right across the street.

  • Meg H.

The Muffalata sandwich and Philly cheesesteak were absolutely insanely delicious. The food is high quality, super fresh and way under priced given the portions you receive (which all come with a bag of chips on the side). The rock n' roll atmosphere and walking distance to the beach only add to the reasons why I wish there was a Fatty's down in south Florida where I live. Skip all the garbage restaurants at Pier Park and come get the tastiest sandwich in PCB for under $10. Not, seriously... You need the Muffalata in your life.

  • Christina V.

Best sandwich shop in PCB! SOOOOOOOOOOO yummy! I'm still craving the Heart Stopper. I definitely recommend getting the "fatty" size. It's about your average sub size and its so delicious you'll want to save the other half for later (like I did). It has ham, turkey, salami, muenster, jalapeno havarti (badass) and spicy mustard. I can't even. It was so good. My friend got the Albuquerque Turkey so we each had a half of both. It was also delicious but came in second place for me. I LOVE that they use BoarsHead meat. And shockingly, for using a higher quality meat the prices are still totally affordable. It also has a cool hipster/rock atmosphere. They use old records has your order # and the tables are mostly made of old doors. It's pretty cool. Not sure when I'll be back to PCB but if I do i will CERTAINLY be going back to Fattys. And if the owner is reading this.... pretty please consider opening one up in Orlando!

    (5)
  • Kelli M.

By far the best thing I have eaten since I have been in PCB this week. I went with the Albuquerque Turkey with bacon and avocado. It was toasted to perfection on a crispy hoagie roll, plus they use Boars Head meats! I took one home and may stop in to get another before I leave town tomorrow. Well done!

    (5)
  • Kelli C.

Terrific sandwiches, Zapp's chips. Excellent prices. Funky rock-n-roll decor. This place kicks Subway in the nuts and drives away on its motorcycle.

    (4)
  • Lee T.

Food was OK but they were out of half the sodas including the diet brands. The staff wasn't very friendly either. They had a take it or leave it attitude. The price for the money wasn't that great either. Not quite enough to get u full. There are definitely better places to go for a good sub down here. It's also really small and cramped inside

    (1)
  • Matt B.

I'm typically not one to rave about a sandwich, but I love it, love it, love it. Anytime I'm down in Panama City Beach, FL I have to stop in here. It's a shame it's not situated in a larger city. I haven't had anything bad here, so go nuts with the ordering. Just to give you an idea of what to expect, the inside feels like the college bachelor pad you always wanted. Awesome music posters everywhere. Tiny place though. Very tiny. Interesting seating. Fantastic sandwiches. I once ate here 4 times in a 48 hour span. Just stop reading this and order something already.

  • Sarah W.

I didn't even eat my food yet and I already love it! Atmosphere in this wonderfully rocked out place is amazing! Can't wait to chow down my fatty sandwich, which I already know will be amazing due to the happy smiles coming and going!

Best place to eat in PCB. My second time today and the manager or owner remembered us. He makes sure to make every customer feel at home and wanted. A+ customer service which is huge for me and A+ food!!!

Let me start by saying, I was completely willing to drive the 15 miles to go to Quiznos, but I had been talking about fatty's since we got here (because that's what I call my friend...in a nice joking manner, of course!) so I decided to look on yelp. I noticed that every single review is good, except for one grump who didn't like the music...not the food, the music. Anywayssss, I decided to go there since it was something I didn't have at home. I'm typical, and always get turkey. Standing there reading the menu and slightly giggling to myself over the names, Randy (random guy) chimes in and says the Albuquerque turkey is his favorite....DING DING DING, WE HAVE A WINNER! I ordered it without avocado. Once I got to the car and bit into that sucker, I was completely smitten. I'm SOOO tempted to go back tomorrow before I leave and order like 5 more to take home with me to eat ;)

Got the veggie wrap, excellent! Great potato chip selection too. It's a small restaurant and feels "off the beaten path" in a good way. Great place to stop for a quick lunch with easy parking right out front.

Amazing pizza, sandwiches and the owners/workers are extremely nice. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

  • Scott S.

Great sandwiches, a ton to choose from, and very good pizza . Completely unique and totally local feel to get away from the average franchise restaurants that plague this town. Service was good and friendly as well, no waiting just after the lunch hour for us.

  • Loretta C.

After eating steak and seafood for a few days, we decided to order in and eat a little lighter, and then I ordered the pizza. We had The Chief Salad, the Big Veggie Salad (with grealed chicken, their spelling, and it is deli chicken, not grilled chicken) and the Vegtastic Pizza. We were happy with all of them. The pizza is thin crust and LOADED with fresh toppings. I will have that again! They also have delivery and ours was free because we were across the street at the Calypso. Can't beat that!

    (4)
  • Jennifer S.

Delicious sandwiches, great atmosphere! Only four stars because they had a big sign at the cash register that said coffee and when I ordered one they were out. Then take the sign away...

Great food and great service. The Rent-A-Cop pizza, cheese steak hogie, and kids pita pizza were all fantastic!

    (5)
  • Kristi R.

Great decor first of all. But I had the muffuletta and it was horrible. First of all a muffuletta does not have mayo on it. The olive salad was not an olive salad. There was no cheese on my muffuletta at all. I really wanted to like this place...very disappointed.

  • T C.

Had the midnight toker. Excellent! Great spot to grab a sandwich. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. They fill up quick (as any great restaurant) so get there early! On a side note had a great iced tea, being from Texas I love a good iced tea and they had a fresh brew!

    (5)
  • Naveen N.

Went here by high Yelp ratings, but I was surprised to find it otherwise. The location is great if you like to grab something quick and regular in middle of the bistros in Pier Park. The ambience was good. The food - not so good. The flat bread gyro was so plain with no flavor and nothing to bring the fillings together. My friend had a southwest turkey wrap which was terrible. Either the place is overrated or we picked the worst of their sandwiches.

  • Desiree S.

Skip all of the other places and come here! Being from Austin, my family and I are spoiled when it comes to good food. This place lived up to our expectations. In addition to a funky, chill atmosphere, the food was fantastic. My Reuben was the best I've ever had. Also, this is probably one of the only places in this area that has really good vegetarian options. Prices are decent and portions are large. Don't miss coming here!

    (5)
  • Egypt R.

The chicken quesadilla was good, got that for my son. He fought me on the peppers and onion in it, but I tried it and liked it. I got the French dip, it wasn't for me. The onion soup wasn't made how I would have wanted.... if I ordered again I'd probably get a cold cut.

Awesome food, great service. The folks there really are genuine and they're laid back, don't freak if it's busy and the food is consistently good. Great place to relax for a bit at lunch and clear your head before the ground kicks back in!

We found Fatty's here on Yelp and decided to try it. We are glad we did! We had the Italian Stallion, French dip and muffuletta - all were excellent! They have a wide selection of sandwiches, rock n roll decor, limited seating, a little pricey but worth it! We will be back to try more options!

Whooooa dude, so I totally just landed in what looks like a stoner's basement complete with food that would Jackie Chan your smoke induced munchies to the moon.

We just spent 5 days in PCB and this was by far the best place we ate. We tried 3 of the wraps and the breakfast pizza. The portion sizes will not disappoint. If we had found this place the first day we would have eaten here everyday, for sure check them out.

My girlfriend and I visited Fatty's recently and we were very satisfied. She ordered the Reuben and I had the Midnight Toker both were excellent. The atmosphere was fun and the service was good. I would recommend it to anyone.

Its a small hole in the wall place but as soon as you walk in you know its going to be awesome! Great rock music playing with cool memorabilia all over the place. The people are fun to talk to, the menu is fun to read and best of all the food is great!!!

Absolutely five star place. Food was delicious, the people were friendly and the atmosphere very cool. Definitely recommend the midnight toker sub.

  • Fletcher R.

Pretty good food, and pretty cheap too. I'm giving it four because of the location. It's literally under a bridge and tucked away between some other stores. You rreeaalllly have to look to find it.

I had the Cheese Steak Charlie and it was excellent. But the next time it's the Fatty Burger all the way! They looked awesome!

I'm not sure how this place is so high rated. Pretty sure we were the only not stoned people there. Posters on walls are not appropriate for anyone under 18. My sandwich had barely any meat. My husband had the meat ball sub and enjoyed it.

My family and I tried Fatty's after reading a review on Yelp. We were not disappointed the service is quick and the food was great. The best part is we could all find something we liked and it was close to the hotel.

Well done!

Terrific sandwiches, Zapp's chips. Excellent prices. Funky rock-n-roll decor. This place kicks Subway in the nuts and drives away on its motorcycle.

I didn't even eat my food yet and I already love it! Atmosphere in this wonderfully rocked out place is amazing! Can't wait to chow down my fatty sandwich, which I already know will be amazing due to the happy smiles coming and going!

Great sandwiches with a cool vibe, just a block off the beach. Spoiler alert: you will not, however, be able to see the beach from your table. Don't let that stop you from coming in for the best meatball sub in PCB!

Excellent sandwich shop! Good selection and a great atmosphere with the walls covered in music and band posters and record album covers. Very friendly staff and fast service. We had a Rueben and a Philly. Both were excellent with good bread and meats. Will be back!

Such a fantastic sandwich shop. It's got a really beachy feel being right on the other side of the road from the beach. I come here every time I'm in Panama City, and I've never been disappointed.
