Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

The food is always great, the staff is friendly but this last time that I went the bartender added money to my tip. I saw the charges on my statement and for a $5 house marjarita he charged my card 9.38. When I called and spoke w the manager he said there was nothing he could do without the receipt and I understand that but when I asked about the copies that he keeps, he said it was impossible to find mine although it was the next day and i know that they cpuldnt have had but a few 100 receipts. So the bartender is prob still adding on people's tips and I hope he gets caught soon.

We are staying at the opposite end of town, so it took us about 20 min. to get there. It's a nice drive, through the middle of PCB. Traffic is very heavy once you get close, so just enjoy the ride and take your time. We arrived at 5:00, walked right in, and had our food within five minutes of ordering. My wife ordered a burrito bowl with chicken, I had one with steak and they were both excellent! Each order comes with chips and salsa. If you like Chipotle, you will like Diego's. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the mild weather (after a rain) and watching the people. Great experience!
(5)Nathaniel P.
Al pastor street tacos were authentic to those from the streets of Mexico! Highly recommend!
(4)Truly A.
inexpensive, convenient, quick, and everything made there is fresh. what else can you ask for. we were vacationing in PC and it was great option for quick meals. hours are convenient. all the salsas are great, the picante one spiciest so ask for that if you want more of kick in your sauces. i can tell the beans are freshly made not out of a can which is a biggie for me for mexican food. my very picky husband really enjoyed the chicken burrito bowl with all white chicken breast meat that was tender. as another reviewer mentioned, be careful with the margaritas, may need to be carried out, they are that strong. i didn't order any for myself but saw several folks wobbling out of that place in drunken stupor.

Didn't feel like another heavy expensive meal and found Diego's. It is really a very family run place with a good view. Since it was before Labor Day it was not busy so we got to order quickly and food came fast You come in and order your food. Very simple process but lots of choices. I had a chicken burrito with several added items which were free. It was very good for sure. Wife ordered 2 tacos, 1 beef and 1 chicken, and said they were both good but she really loved the beef. Dinners come with chips and salsa. They bring it to your table and give you a number to identify you. Non alcoholic drinks get ordered at the food area. You can ordered alcoholic drinks. They come from a bar that is separate from the food order area. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Diego's is similar to a Chipotle or Moe's, but the food is made fresh and it's delicious! The portions are huge, and if you leave hungry then you must be doing something wrong! If I know I'm going to eat there for dinner, I skip lunch for the two pounds of hot and amazing tastiness I know will be gracing my taste buds later! Had an issue one time where they put steak instead of chicken in my burrito and the boy that came by the table quickly took care of the issue even though it was super busy! Margaritas are really good, but beware of the house margarita. Sometimes it's nothing but tequila and you need help walking out!
(5)Steve S.
First time here to eat, we have come to PCB for over 25 years. After reading all the reviews we had to try it. Simply awesome. The food and atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely come back.!!
(5)Robbie G.
This place is good.. It's hard to give a burrito a 4 but I did. The ingredients are fresh and cilantro made the meal. Tacos are good but chips and salsa are just so so to me. The walk up ordering is kind of overwhelming at first but it's pretty cool to pick what you want. We did the chicken not bad at all! Good location and friendly staff
(4)Amber M.
Hype... So much hype. The place was good, but was it worth the crazy long line or the long wait? I didn't really think so. I had a steak burrito with probably 75% of the ingredients. My husband had the mahi burrito and he gives it 5 stars.
(3)Lara M.
The burritos were really good. Tacos too. Margaritas were strong and delicious. Service was excellent. The salsa was not that good and the chips were not freshly made. I enjoyed my experience here even though my significant other hated everything about it except the margaritas. She thought it was the worst Mexican food she's ever eaten. Overrated. The steak on the burritos were under seasoned . I told her to get her own Yelp account to criticize, but she declined.
(3)Laura V.
Had ground beef nachos, street tacos chicken, guacamole & chips with flan and tres leches for dessert- and ALL of was totally AWESOME!! Being from Texas- we weren't sure we'd find any good Mexican food, but we did! Nice laid back atmosphere with excellent service and awesome food- highly recommend- we loved everything about it! Price was reasonable too!
(5)Josh S.
Delicious street tacos and burritos. We had the pork and it was delicious. Margaritas were good as well. I would definitely go back!
(5)Sophia M.
After a night of drinking the first thing I like the next day is a spicy taco or burrito So like always I went on yelp while on vacation I checked out this spot It's was similar to chipotle but with a more Latin soul I had the Chicken burrito with a spicy wrap with mango salsa guacamole black beans It's was very good I just wish the burrito was a little warmer I got the burrito and it was cold other than that it was very good I personally just do t like cold food I also got a side of cheese and chips which was very good just hoped the little cup of cheese matched the amount of chips
(3)Dana H.
This was a great change of pace from the touristy chain restaurants that run rampant in this area. You order at the counter, and they have a separate but full bar. The food was great. The guacamole was excellent. The frozen margaritas were decent.
(4)Maggie T.
If you've ever been to a Chipotle or Baja Fresh, you already know what to expect at Diego's. Step up to the counter and piece together your desired burrito, taco or bowl combination. All orders come with side of chips and salsa. I recommend the mango salsa, especially paired with the grilled shrimp. They have a selection of bottled beer behind the counter but there's also a margarita bar across from food counter that has draft beer. Located on Front Beach Road, this place gets packed with tourists. Take your meal outside on covered front porch and watch the Front Beach freak show parade. It's free entertainment!
(4)Ashley W.
The food is really good. You're right across from the Gulf AMAZING views and yummy margaritas
(4)Ligia C.
My family and I came to this place after some local friends highly recommended it. All 7 of us were not dissapointed. I had the shrimp tacos, best I ever had. Oldest daughter had the burrito bowl, she loved it. My husband had the Burrito. My 2 younger daughters we verry happy with their steak tacos. Flan was really good too. Great tasting food and Tony was so attentive. Definitely will come back whenever we come to PCB.
(5)Emily B.
Delicious! Fast and friendly!! So yummy! Great Margs too! A more upscale version of moes- great burritos
(5)Callie D.
If you are in the mood for excellent burritos or tacos this place is the bomb! It's like a chipolte with way more choices, fresher food , and it's locally owned. I suggest big burritos, if you are hungry, and the cheese dip :). Another great place to eat is Finns tacos too.
(5)Kayla S.
This place was really good but the margaritas were not amazing... Just good. Guacamole was on point!!!!
(4)Chad T.
Has great burritos! There is one table in the store that is very cold. Don't sit in it!
(5)Matthew S.
Great place to get a burrito or a taco! There are plenty of options and you get to choose how you want your food. I wish you were allowed more than just two since there are so many good ones to choose from. So far I've had the Diego chicken and el pastor and both were tasty. My mom had the beef and she had no complaints. They have a cozy little bar and a decent beer selection. There is outdoor seating with a slightly obstructed view of the gulf. The burritos are decent size and they give you complimentary chips and salsa with every meal.
(5)Connie C.
Have to say we love this place. Great food. You select your combo. Casual atmosphere, you may sit out side and the people are great!!! See you in a couple of months.
(5)Dominic C.
Ok so I walked into this place missing chipotle so my expectations were pretty high. The line wasn't too long but be careful going hungry on a weekend night, crazy busy. I ordered a chicken burrito and I was pleased. They bring out chips and salsa which was okay, nothing to brag about but the main meal was great enough to have me come back for more. If they steal chipotles Guac and chips recipe I would never go back to chipotle. Food was great and service was okay also. I recommend this spot if you need a great burrito and a tasty margarita.
(4)Scott H.
Simply Awful. Stay away. You stand in line for expensive sub-par Mexican food. You want an Alcoholic beverage to wash down your disgusting meal get ready to pay. Oh, did I mention crowded issues and how simply loud it is. You might need to check into a urgent care after eating here. This place is a shear dump.
(1)M G.
Ordered the veggie salad with guac and grilled mahi salad. It's not chipotle but it's good enough for the price they give you an lot. I like the thin crispy chips which they give about 10 pieces with a little salsa. It was enough for me. Actually I only ate half of my salad, that's how big it was. The place was a bit on the dingy side.
(3)Jordan P.
So good every time! I love the nachos with al pastor pork, the mango salsa and cilantro ranch!
(5)Hani A.
Great Mexican food! My kids got ground beef tacos, they were Amazingly flavorful!! However, I would recommend any of the other amazing meats before getting the ground beef. Flavors were excellent. Flour tortilla was great and perfect meat and toppings to shell ratio. Mango salsa was flavorful and sweetened the spiciness. Definitely recommend and a must try when visiting Panama City beach!!
(5)Kelli M.
Delicious food, plus you can't beat a burrito place with a full bar! I ate the black bean dip with queso in it which was delicious poured over my carnitas quesadilla on a spicy tortilla. HUGE portions and delicious margaritas.
(5)Scott C.
We went there with a big group at the Beach and they did a good Job. Great food and reminds me of when we traveled to Mexico some of the street food. They got four stars as one guy was not impressed to have us there.
(4)Matt G.
Talk about some awesome burritos! We showed up and it was PACKED! Well worth the wait though.
(5)Sara D.
It was so good! Like a chipotle but better! I had a chicken burrito and my friends had burrito bowls. Some of them put mahi mahi on it and said it was delicious!
(5)Samantha W.
Relaxed atmosphere, decent chicken burrito, great steak tacos, and amazing guacamole. Strong $5 margaritas! Need I say more?
(3)Janya B.
Great place with great services . We had fish street tacos and nachos ! It's was awesome . Great price as well .
(5)Lee Kate H.
This was by far our favorite place we ate in PCB. The Mexican street tacos with Al Pastor pork were delicious. If you're looking for something other than seafood but you still want that beachy feel this is the place for you.
(5)Erik B.
So fresh - we at here 3 times over vacation. Never ate the same thing and came away impressed every time. The margaritas are fantastic. You won't be disappointed!
(5)Gordon C.
This place has a super good burrito but there is this one table that is really cold!!!! Don't sit there!!!!!!!!
(5)Barbara A.
So very good!! Our first time and we loved it. The burrito with pulled pork was amazing and the ground beef tacos were yummy, too. Glad to know of a locally owned restaurant that serves great food.
(5)Julie M.
Burritos are my favorite food. I got a pork and steak burrito (yes, in 1 burrito) with pretty much everything in it. Comes with a side of complimentary chips, which came out hot and fresh, and a little cup of house salsa. I hate being excited to take a bite out of my burritos to only be disappointed by dry meat, but that was not the case here. Moist, fresh, flavorful, and HUGE! Will definitely come back next time I'm in PCB. Yes, Diego, your radio commercials are worth the hype.
(5)Rose M.
overall this place has potential, and while I miss Los Antojitos(they closed) this place is fairly decent. Good size portions, good flavor and they stay busy!
(3)Theresa P.
EXCELLENT!! Good food. Nice people running it... Fresh choices!! Nice view! Will go back!!
(4)charles p.
if i could rate zero "i would" terrible customer service. VERY RUDE!!! if you dont know exactly what u want immediately they cut you with their eyes, body language, rolling eyes, lip smakin'. ----my dog grommer is nicer---- when we ask toppings "look at damn menu" save your money!!!!!! if no tourist were eating here one time and done. this place would be closed within a week. food ok, but how do you enjoy food after terrible customer service
(1)MG S.
The place has potential. I've had the steak and carnitas tacos, those were good. The seafood ones were not. My husband ate the shrimp one but couldn't finish the fish taco and this man will eat anything, I am not kidding. It wasn't good, or fresh. Not a good place for seafood. Where they could use improvement to be awesome: Use better tortillas or double up. Damn tacos break before I'm halfway through, every time!!! Work on the fish situation. I love fish tacos and would appreciate it if they had a decent one here. They have a margarita bar that closes at 10pm. What in the world??? While we were there the last time we went on a Saturday, the employees turned away a good 10-15 people trying to come in around 9:45 (they were all surprised at the closing time!) We just happens to get lucky because we got there at 9:30 but this man that appeared to be the head cook says to the cashier in Spanish, "Stop taking people, you can take them but after this, no one else!" As he signaled towards us with disapproval. (I know Spanish, nice try, guy). So 30 minutes before their already too-early closing time for a bar, they start shooing people away. Everyone looked angry as they hurriedly cleaned around us and put up chairs. I wonder if they owner realizes they're losing business! The bar was FULL, people were coming in asking for drinks only, not even food and they still turned them down. Even though the could easily have a bar full of people well into midnight. Bad for business and disappointing! I give 3 stars because I would visit again during the mid day of course. Don't wanna piss anyone off. I'll stay away from the fish though.
(3)Amelia G.
Very impressed! The food was fresh. The service was excellent. I ordered the shrimp tacos with mango salsa.
(5)Kara F.
Oh my goodness! Excellent food. We had quesadilla's steak and chicken. Ingredients were so fresh, prepared perfectly. We were wondering if it would fill us up but I couldn't even finish mine. Also shared chips and cheese. Very, very good. We will definitely be going back. We got there about 5, it was not crowded, but by the time we left it was getting very busy. Thanks yelp, because we would not have tried it otherwise and would have missed out on a great meal.
(5)Shawn J.
Tried Diego's while on vacation, after a guy recommended it to us. It did not fail his rave review! They have VERY good food! We loved the burritos, Mexican street tacos, chips & cheese, and the guacamole.
(5)Kristin A.
I had the burrito bowl with al pastor, salsa picante and jalapeños. It was spicy and delicious. The portion size was generous- enough to share. Highly recommend!
(5)Will S.
Really good texmex, chipoltle styled burritos. The tomatillo green salsa was dynamite! Put it on everything! If I were to change anything it would be the process of ordering. They want me to choose what I want from a long list of ingredients up on the menu board. Just kind of hard. Would be easier if I pointed to what I wanted on there.
(4)Amanda W.
I didn't go to see how the place was or how the food was made, but the burrito I got from here was delicious. If I had to guess, they are like qdoba. You get to pick what all ingredients you want in your burrito, nachos, etc. I just got beef, cheese, sour cream and little lettuce, and it was really good. Plus the burrito was huge, so by the time I was almost done with it, I thought I was going to be sick from eating do much...
(4)Jimmy M.
Great burrito, fairly priced and I'm very happy. Will definitely be back when I'm in town.
(5)Calvin G.
I will never be able to eat another fast food taco again. Diego's has the best I've ever eaten. The carnita and al pastor are the bomb. Can't wait to try the burritos. Eat outside or inside. Clean and very organized. I will be back. As often as I can.
(5)John L.
Go to Diego's to get they're big fat burritos. the street taco slingers of Panama City Beach you pick the toppings they fix the tacos I personally love the carnitas tacos.
(5)Donna B.
We had no idea it would be this wonderful! We needed a quick lunch before headed back to the cheer competition. It was quick and DELICIOUS!
(5)Lilya F.
This place was awesome! They had great burritos that were customizable and great prices!
(4)Jamie G.
We really enjoyed this place! We had a large party & were able to get in & get our food pretty quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food immensely!
(4)Kay C.
Very similar to Moe's, but so much better!! We got the grilled Mahi quesadilla and a burrito, and they were both to die for! My only complaint is that we ordered queso dip and salsa extra, but we did not get any extra chips with it like we expected. Luckily the dip was good and we just ate it with a spoon.
(4)Orin B.
Really good, fresh & quick. Worth the drive over the bridge.
(5)Billy O.
The food here was AMAZING! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good taco or burrito. We read about it on yelp and decided to give it a try and we did not leave disappointed!
(5)Arlene B.
Food is okay. I've had the fish tacos and they were too fishy! Had the nachos with shredded pork and I annihilated them. Margaritas are to die for... Just don't drink one too many! One of their top shelf is literally one too many!
(4)Karla N.
Delicious. I'm a chipotle fan so this was right up my alley. I ordered the burrito bowl and pretty much put everything in it. Husband ordered a burrito and loved it. Ordered cheese dip and loved it as well. Salsa was not really spicy at all. Cashier was a little lost we though maybe he doesn't speak English so we began to speak Spanish since me and my husband are Puerto Rican but he remained replying in English so we switched to English. Asked him for salsa and he informed me it came with the food but I wanted it for my cheese dip. Just a miscommunication there. I do appreciate the manager bringing me my purse after leaving it outside though. All in all great place delicious just be patient and communicate well.
(4)Jessica G.
Great food and drinks. Casual atmosphere. Take a minute and get to know the bartender "Grif" or "abuelo" the grand pa. Not that old or a grandpa but a great guy.
(5)Andrea P.
Good simple food. Hopping place and I would come again. Took a chance during spring break based on yelp and I wasn't disappointed.
(4)Danielle B.
I absolutely LOVE this place! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful- and the food is even better.
(5)Maurice G.
This place was awesome....it's a must eat place. Price and service was great. Menu of build you own Mexican was easy enough my 10 year old could do. You will not leave hungry.
(5)K A.
Was in Diego's today with my family and this was the second visit. We were not impressed at all. We ordered burritos and they were large but not warm through out the whole burrito. Half way through the burrito that I was eating, my wife noticed a bug in the burrito I was in the middle of eating. Needless to say, we lost our appetite. this experience was much different than the first visit. We will not be going back KA
(1)Thomas A.
This place has a great burrito. Kids meals are good deals and they get some tasty burritos or tacos!
(5)Bill Z.
Really good and authentic! Only reason I took away a star is they got both my wife's meal and mine incorrect the first time. Reasonably priced, except their drinks but food not quit hot enough for me.
(4)Lera E.
Went twice in one week. The tacos were excellent. Got the salad bowl with chicken on the second visit. Very good.
(4)Cheezwhiz R.
Ah yes the best burrito bar ever. I always get the shrimp and the taste is so fresh and so good...I have to eat here multiple times when I come down. It is also a bar which is probably popular in season. You can get your burritos anyway with tons of optiond
(5)Emily B.
Great food. Great relaxed atmosphere and tasty margaritas. This is not a sit down restaurant; you order at the front and then find a seat. Great spot!
(5)Chris B.
After spending the first 2 days of our vacation looking for good food in PCB and finding none, we found Diegos tonight and it was amazing. There was a lime, it was extremely busy and we had probably a 20 minute wait for our food but it was worth it. The margaritas are also on point. Highly recommend to get away from the chain places, and tourist traps. I had the fish tacos, my girlfriend had the burrito bowl with fish. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
(5)B J.
A great! Place to stop and have a burrito or taco and a perfect cold drink. Full bar and the margarita was fantastic. Sat outside perfect spot.
(5)Charlie A.
Anyone doubting the authenticity of this place does not appreciate how long it has taken me to find carnitas and al pastor tacos along the Florida Gulf Coast. I was born in Florida, but have lived in San Diego and Los Angeles. This is as close as it gets to buying tacos from street vendors in LA. I LOVE their shrimp tacos with mango pico de gallo. My wife likes the grilled fish tacos. Their al pastor is great too. Hell, we've eaten there 3 times this week because it reminds us of eating in California! Obviously, we'll be back. Eating great tacos and listening to la musica bachata just feels right.
(5)Dianne D.
This place reminded me of Moe's with a bar, but no salsa bar. Good food and atmosphere.
(4)Chris H.
Went there for lunch and man am I glad. Super simple menu. Burrito, quesadilla, nachos, and then they have a single or double street or Baja taco. You pick your desired meat and then toppings for the burrito, quesadilla, or nachos. The tacos have a base set of ingredients and you pick 2 toppings. Super simple but really awesome. I got some loaded shrimp nachos and a single street taco. Taco was pork, cheese, sautéed onions/peppers, onions, and cilantro. Came with some chips and a small cup of salsa. Wife got a shrimp quesadilla and thought it was awesome. My 6 and 3 year olds both got kids quesadillas they really enjoyed as well. I'm a big eater but was full after the nachos and taco. I kind of wish I wasn't so I could have crammed another delicious taco down my face, but I was just too stuffed. The only downside is the parking lot beside it is gravel, so if you're eating outside and someone gets throttle happy it can get dusty. Worth it. Highly recommend this place.
(5)Steve M.
Authentic tasting Mexican food made fresh to order and made your way with the toppings and ingredients you select from an extensive list of choices. This is a great value for your dollar. You must try the carnitas, they were excellent! And they have a friendly bar that has a neighborhood feel to it, making Diego's a welcoming place to frequent.
(5)Leah L.
High quality, cheap eats... Favorite find on this vacation. Made to order street tacos are only 2.75 and are absolutely to die for. We've eaten here two nights in a row after finding it. Nothing fancy- just great food at a great price.
(5)Robert W.
Fresh, delicious food at a great price. Right across from the Gulf and in a lively area. The margarita bar makes outstanding drinks. A must visit.
(4)T W.
If you love burritos, this place is for you! We had a steak and a veggie burrito- they must've weighed five pounds each! They were delicious- would definitely recommend this place!
(5)Paul J.
My whole office takes lunch here every week; it's so good it's become a tradition: "Burrito Friday." Diego's is just outstanding fresh food made to order. The menu is a huge list of ingredients you can use to custom make your burrito, street taco, salad bowl, etc. With so many possibilities, it can be hard to decide, but the staff are really friendly and will walk you through it. Come hungry. They also have a decent selection of made-in-Mexico hot sauces to kick up your entree. My only complaint is that I always run out of salsa before I run out of chips!
(5)Tyler H.
Oh my dam this place is the bomb, i live in Houston,Tx a was on vacation in Panama City everything was fresh an made to order,,,wish it was a place like this at home everything taste authentic.
(5)Arthur H.
It's a burrito buffet place. Pick your tortilla. Pick your toppings. The burritos are big. Price is big. Around $7.50 for one burrito. Tortilla is store bought not homemade. Heated for a few seconds on a grill. Toppings looked fresh. This is not a California type Mexican food place as they use pinto beans, no refried beans. Bagged cheese not shredded and not much of it. Fair but overpriced in my opinion and it's not a real homemade Mexican food place. Just a step up from another Alabama, Taco Bell. If you just need a gut bomb, it will do. I wish the beach would get some real homemade Mexican food with homemade tortillas and real refried beans and real hot sauce.
(3)Jeff M.
A trip to PCB needs to include Diego's. Ate the quesadillas which were the best I ever had. Many choices for fillings and toppings which can be served as tacos or burritos as well.
(5)Tasha C.
Eating thinking not bad, then my husband took a bite of his burrito along with a long string!yuck
(1)John T.
Excellent burritos! Staff was very friendly and helpful and good was prepared quickly! The pork marinated in pineapple was awesome and you get to choose your own toppings. Will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone in PCB
(4)Matthew M.
Al pastor burrito with mango salsa and so much other stuff I forgot what I put on it. Absolutely delicious.
(5)Linda C.
Love this place! When the locals embrace it as a favorite, you know it's good! Atmosphere is very casual, great place to bring kids. Staff is always friendly & helpful. My favorite is the nachos el pastor, pork marinated in pineapple, you can add whatever toppings you like but the mango salsa is my favorite! The margaritas are so good but also very strong. Took some out of town guests there last night on their last night here, and he ordered the mahi shrimp burrito, said it was the best meal he had since he had been down here.
(4)Jason O.
Ah-mazing food! Great customer service! Fantastic place. Tons of options for your burrito, this place is like a mix of Mexican places I have ever been to, and it is great. With a heavy heart, I will say their margaritas are a bit off. The owner of this place owns another Mexican joint in town and their margaritas are better. But I do still love the jalapeno margarita they have.
(4)Niki W.
We ate here during our vacation in PCB. Everything we had was delicious, hot and fresh. I had the shrimp Baja tacos and have been thinking about them ever since. The prices were great, especially considering you are often paying a little more given that the area is touristy. We will be coming back for sure.
(4)Teampcbeach ..
Doesn't look like much from the outside, but this is very good casual mexican food! Order at the counter by picking what you want street tacos, burrito, nachos etc., then choose your filling (steak, carnitas, al pastor, chicken), then pick from a large selection of toppings from rice, black beans, jalapenos, pico, Guac, cilantro etc). All orders come with chips and salsa. We had street tacos al pastor and steak and they were outstanding. Everything tasted very fresh. They have a full bar so you can get a beer or margarita with your meal. The beach really needed a place like this. We will definitely be back.
(4)Jessica P.
Went here on family trip and loved the food. Our whole family got drinks and had tacos, burritos, nachos, and taco bowl and it was very good. You can sit inside or outside, but if you sit outside there is a beautiful view of the ocean. If you are feeling Mexican food then I highly recommend it.
(4)Brenda P.
This place is awesome! Food was fresh and reasonable price, however not for the chips and cheese dip. Kind of stingy on the chips. good service, no huge wait. If your in PCB should try it. Our family will be back!

Let me start by saying that I know Cinco de Mayo was probably not the best time to try this place out for the first time. But, I had gotten a flyer in the mail and I wanted Mexican food. The place was PACKED when I walked in but there were table full of happy people with tasty-looking food. I got in line and chatted with the girl in front of me, who said it normally wasn't this busy but that the good was totally worth it. Thirty minutes (really) later, I placed my order and found a seat. One hour and fifteen minutes from the time my order was placed, my food finally came out. It was pretty delicious, but by then I was soured on the long wait. I understand that it was a very busy day for them, but an hour is far too long to wait for a burrito, no matter how delicious it is. (And it was VERY delicious.) Still worth checking out if you like authentic Mexican food. I'll give it another shot on a slower day. Update: as I was leaving, every staff member I passed apologized profusely for the long wait time. Very friendly people, and they were obviously more than a little overwhelmed at the amount of business they had. I will most definitely visit again.

Food was good. The portions were large. Two people could easily share a burrito bowl. Would recommend for a quick lunch or dinner

Reasonable price, ample portions. The pineapple margarita was the best I have ever had! We were in the mood for Mexican and this definitely hit the spot! We will visit again while in PCB!

Pleasantly surprised! I had the grilled steak street tacos. Ingredients were fresh with a huge selection to choose from. The margaritas were nice as well. Sat back and people watched... every patron had a smile on their face. Not a scowl in sight. We will be back very soon.

Great food. So far our fave Mexican place in fl. We moved from so cal and have not like any fl Mexican food and this was great. Good flavor and large portions. Nice ambiance. I had grilled mahi burrito with spinach tortilla and so good. Does not have a restaurant service but not fast food so save on tip. Has a nice little bar. Love this place!

The ground beef burrito & carnitas burrito are DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the spicy tortilla for your burrito. So good! We also had a side of queso & it was fabulous! Cannot wait to go back & try more items & have another couple Pineapple Margaritas!

Stopped by for lunch today. GREAT staff! Asked what I should get from the person at the counter, and got what she suggested. Beef burrito with everything. She even put all the salsas on the side for me to try! Best burrito ever! Great prices, too! Burritos are gigantic! Make sure you are hungry!

Loved this place. You have a huge list off toppings for your burrito. Once we placed our order it came to us in less than five minutes. And the burrito was huge. We will be going back.

It's pretty good. The al pastor is tasty. There are many choices for how to make your burrito personal. The price is comparable to other burrito cafeterias like Freebirds, Bullrito, and chipotle. The difference is that this place exists in PCB, and I don't think those others do. The burrito isn't perfect though. The tortilla should have been cooked longer. It is a premade tortilla, which is fine as long as it is cooked. Mine wasn't cooked long enough to balloon up, which is essential, so my tortilla was kind of soggy. Other than than that it was really good. The toppings were fresh and the avocados were only another buck fifty. I wish they had refried beans to compliment their pinto and black beans. Homemade salsa would also take this to the next level. The service was good, because they don't have any. You order and pay first and then they drop your meal off at the table. That is a smart decision, they can't get it wrong. I had a great meal at a reasonable price.

My family loved Diego's. I had the 2 Mahi tacos, one with mango salsa and one with southwestern slaw. The one with mango salsa was good, but the salsa was too much and covered the flavor of the Mahi. The other was incredible. Diego's will be in the top of the rotation of PCB restaurants from now on.

A little expensive, but tasted so good! I grew up on an avocado grove in San Diego, CA so I know good guacamole! This place had really good guac! perfect texture! about $6.99 for 2 street fish tacos...they dont serve the street tacos the Mexican way with two corn tortillas, which was a little disappointing, but oh well. The mango pico on the fish tacos was bomb! They serve chips with each burrito or taco entre, so be aware that they come included. We got a fish burrito, and carnitas burrito, and 2 fish tacos. We didnt know each entre came with tortilla chips, so we got one order of cheese dip and chips, and one order of guacamole and chips. once our meals came out we had too many chips when everything was said and done. The green habenaro salsa they have over by the drinks is really good! Tortillas didnt taste homemade, but it didnt compromise the meal for me because the filling was so good! Definitely recommend. Also, ocean view right across the roadway!!!
