Today, (March 14th) is called "pi" day and it's a fun tradition to eat pie. Since good pie seems to be a hard thing to find in Palm Coast, we decided to go to Bob Evans. We had been there once before for my Birthday in Feb and our meal was ok, but when it came to dessert, I was sadly told they had not had any apple pie in over a week. It was the main thing I had come for as I like Birthday pie rather then cake. Our waitress said she had kept telling management, but for some reason they hadn't ordered any for quite a while. Anyway, we decided to give the place another try today. We got there and we were seated by a front window as soon as they had the table clean. It's a small place and they had several waitresses on the floor. It was only maybe half full. We were asked what we would like to drink . Our coffee was promptly brought and we were told that our server would be right over to take our orders. This is where it got weird. We sat there for over half an hour while only some of the staff was waiting on tables. The rest were behind the front counter just goofing off. The person who had seated us never looked at us again as he went around seating others. A couple of times I tried to catch the eye of a waiter and was ignored. For some reason, even though our menus had been sitting on the edge of our table and we had obviously not been served, we were invisible to the staff. After several more minutes of watching everyone who had come in after us be served their meals, I finally got the attention of the guy that had seated us and told him that we had been sitting there for almost 40 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. He said he would send someone right over. One of the waiters, who had been behind the counter chatting away with others, came over and implied that even though we were not his table, he would take our orders. We told him we had just come in for 2 pieces of pie. Off he went and we sat for over another 15 MINUTES....for PIE! We watched plate after plate of food coming out while our server went back to chatting. Finally, we'd had enough and we got up to leave. Suddenly he came out from the kitchen and had our pie. He said, "Oh! You can't leave now! This will make up for everything." Ahh...not even close. My strawberry pie was topped with rock hard under ripe strawberries with black spots on them. My husband's "French Silk" pie was chocolate pudding in a crust. Completely not worth it. We went up to pay. It was almost $12 for 2 cups of coffee and two very poorly made mass produced tasting low quality pieces of pie. We will NEVER go there again. Waiting almost an hour, being completely ignored by staff, and then trying to choke down pie that was not even grocery store standard made it clear that this place is one to be ignored...just as we were.

Excellent service good food will be back. I have eaten at a few of these restaurants since I have been in Florida and I have never been disappointed. I rarely give a place 5 stars - so this is special. The place was very clean and very well managed. Got our food very quickly. Asked for extra gravy with the turkey dinners and it was just like Thanksgiving all over again.

Since it is almost impossible to find one of these in the North East, since most have closed, I will seek this place out. They offer breakfast foods all day and have some very tasty fruit breads (banana, blueberry, pumpkin, etc) that differ depending on the season. Service is always good here. Have never had bad food at one of these. Foodies won't find this place worthy, but if you want a good ole country meal and a very reasonable cost, then try one of these.

We've been eating here for years and we love it! Just had the brioche French toast! And the other person with me had the blueberry crepes! The waitresses are nice. Great breakfast spot! We also ordered some fresh baked banana and blueberry bread to take home!

After discovering that the restaurant the hubs and I wanted to eat at was closed, he said "I'm in the mood for a sit down meal, so, let's go to Bob Evans". Finding the entrance was puzzling - the take out entrance was at the front of the restaurant, while the main entrance faces 100 (which doesn't have a turn off into the parking lot). Once inside, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated - the hostess is also the cashier. They have a small selection of baked items, candles, dressings, and other homegood items for sale at the front of the restaurant also. Once we got seated, our server Michele, promptly came over, our drinks were delivered right away, and then she sort of disappeared until it was time for us to order. I ordered the Farmer's Market Omelet which included sausage, bacon, ham, onions, tomatoes, and spinach, topped with a rather thick hollandaise sauce (for my first time ever having the sauce, it was pretty good) Overall, I enjoyed my first experience at this location. If we are in the mood for Bob Evan's next time we are in Palm Coast, we will be sure to stop here.

Went there on 4th of July morning for a family breakfast. Place was busy but not packed. Service was terrible. Coffee was not great. My wife and son hated it too. My mom recommended it and goes often so we made our donation. Worst pancake syrup I've ever had. Maybe dinner is better.
