This place is a lot of fun. Menu is simple, but the food is prepared extremely well. I had the duck and my wife had the pasta. The bar are is crawling with interesting people. The people watching here is amazing. They have a dance floor which gets really active just after 9pm. The decor is classy and the entire place is really elegant. It's also a very light sort of atmosphere and people seem to be having a lot of fun.

Fun and crazy joint! Definitely an "older crowd", meaning, aged 65 and older. Regardless, the host was personable and seated us quickly with a great view of the dance floor. Our food was just OK, the cobb salad was my most memorable dish. The wine list was in dire need of updating. However, our experience was still a good one, as we greatly enjoyed the atmosphere of live music and people watching. I'm sure we will be back with friends.

This is old school PB to a T. The redecoration prior to this Season has left all the charm in tact. Still the amazing mechanical fans, and of course the leopard print carpet. Love the swirly ceiling painiting and black patent upholstery. It's one of those "only in PB" experiences. The maitre'd/waiter described everything on the menu for us (which was a bit of a chuckle since the fare is as standard American wasp grub as it gets). The seafood cocktail was tremedous. We enjoyed the salmon and filet, however the potato rosti on both plates was Not Good. However, the key draw is not food but atmosphere. After 9, the locals swarm the bar and boogie on the dancefloor. A live singer crooned disco delights. Only. In. Palm. Beach.

This place was wonderful from the minute we walked in..Maitre de was friendly, and even came around during dinner to ask how things were.. First, the decor IS 1970 elegant but it is still beautiful and warm...very dark and very intimate. Loved it...We asked for a quiet table since it was an anniversary. We got wonderful dark corner booth and loved it. There was a piano player during dinner and then it flipped over to a 2 pc combo.Music was wonderful..very supper club feeling. Now to the food..ALL I can say was EXCELLENT from both service by the waitress and the food itself. I ordered the wild salmon with garllic sauteed spinach..Incredible seasoning and the basil oil on the fish was delish ! Partner had a NY strip steak cooked to PERFECTION..pittsburgh rare , also with the sauteed spinach. Both of us are dieting and they subsituted the spinach for a starch. Steak was seasoned SO GOOD that u did not need ANY steak sauce..that was a first for us. Service from the waitress was wonderful..she was warm, friendly and funny. We ordered their version of bread pudding with ice cream and real whipped cream and a delicious sauce..We could not eat all the bread pudding and took 1/2 home along with a side of the sauce for later on. This was a delicious dessert. It was a wonderful dining experience and YES, we WILL be back !!

An older, yet sophisticated local crowd hangs out in this hotel bar/restaurant with facinating hand painted ceiling, leopard print, and "velvet" jungle feel. Service was great and the drinks were well made. If your in PB, this is a good place to go after much of the town is asleep.

Great People watching in the Heart of Palm Beach Came for a bday celebration with a prix fixe menu. The meal started with a Burgatta caprice salad which was fantastic. The Burgatta was made to perfection. For the 2nd course i had a crab cake. Nice big pieces of crab with a perfect crispy crust. The only downside was that it had just a tad bit too much filer for my liken For a Entree I had a perfectly cooked And tender Filet which came with fantastic garlic spinach. On Sat night they have live music with Palm Beaches finest locals on display aging from 40-70.

Eclectic and unique, this fabulous bar features a montage of fine spirits, tasty happy hour treats (I had the lobster salad rolls) and a highly feisty cast of characters both in service and in the patrons. Bartender Candy was wonderfully attentive, Lou, very entertaining and Lucy, a gem who has been around since they opened. Hand painted murals from the 70s adorn the ceilings, Art Deco light fixtures, black lacquered chairs with hammered nail heads, and leopard paintings, leopard sculptures and even leopard carpeting accented with pink carnations are abundant and add to your experience here. Mirrors on the bar are a nod to the era. Perfectly suited for Palm Beach, this black and gold (and pink!) gem is within walking distance of the world-famous Worth Avenue!

Rehearsal dinner food : Shrimp Cocktail , Bruschetta , Chicken Quesadilla : B- not the highlight of the evening Burrata Salad : A+ to die for Salmon : A, perfectly cooked and served over some good veggies Duo of Dessert : B+ , molten lava cake was gooey on the inside but who serves half of a soufflé ?! Overall a great place for a 100 person rehearsal dinner. Well executed from the kitchen. Service was a little sloppy but not terrible.

This is a unique breakfast experience. Starting with the room, it is done in black, gold, and red accents. If you look up you see the famous red mural, look down and there is thick cheetah-print and roses carpet. Brass fixtures are everywhere giving off a golden glow. Not many places give you the opportunity to dine on world class breakfast sitting in sexy black naugahyde chairs. The breakfast itself is great. They use quality ingredients, really great butter, eggs, and jellies. With a roasted tomato and orange slices on the side, its even got nutritional balance.

This place was great!!! Awesome atmosphere and great food. The service was good and friendly.... The DJ mixed it up between old and new and I have to say it was the most fun on our vacation vs the other restraunts we dined at. The desert apple cobbler I recommend

I think I may have hit Leopard at an off time being a Saturday Brunch. I had the crab cakes which were very good and the service really could have been better, but when I asked for a vodka gimlet I got the response question of "What is it...what is made of?" Knowing that I was off to somewhat of a bad bar start and that things probably wouldn't improve, I changed to requesting a gin martini up with olive, thinking anyone in a restaurant, bartender or not, would know what that would be and how to make it. However, that assumption was wrong when I was served some lukewarm gin in an old fashion glass, no olive. I must have looked somewhat puzzled as my waiter asked me if anything was wrong and I told him that I had expected a Martini glass, which to my surprise he then knew exactly what I meant, got a frosted one and poured my previous drink into it. As for the olive, none to be found, apparently misplaced. From the looks of their bar, I'm sure that they must have a competent bartender and that for whatever reason he was absent. So, I won't hold that against the Leopard and just rate the food which was very good and though pricey, not to me exceedingly so at $21.00. What I really like about the Leopard Lounge is its décor which is stately, club like but with a whimsical elegance of leopard patterned carpeting, mirroring wall areas, dark word and a drop dead gorgeous bright colored hand painted ceiling. I might add that their outside patio dining area along the entrance way to the Chesterfield Hotel is also elegant and lush.

We did not eat here because we walked in and saw the ambiance - 100 year olds with their oxygen tanks - gave each other the side eye and said 'oh my god' and walked out.

poor. captain and waitress rude and uninterested. bland food better suited to a 1960's catering hall. 18% automatic tip a cover,in our case, for a 60% add to bill with no explanation or apology. be careful!

This place feels a little like you've stepped into a New York time capsule. Everything is opulent and a little bit too-much in the just right way. The carpet is lush, there's gold accents all over. The chairs are heavy. I've been here a couple of time for drinks and the service is always wonderful. The cocktails are mostly classics, made competently and correctly, and the bartender is super knowledgeable. You're not going to find really any trendy drinks. This is the place you come for an old fashioned, or a brandy alexander, and you're going to drink it from a normal size martini glass from the 1960s with a sidecar instead of the giant ones we're used to now. On weekend nights there's usually music and dancing, and it's not unusual to see multiple generations of people shaking their thang to top dance hits. I remember being more than a little scandalized by a grandfather getting down to Blurred Lines, but that's a story for my therapist. The whole place feels a little scandalous and from the past. Including the red sexual ceiling mural. This one is a fun place to bring adult friends of any age if they have a sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously. The Leopard Lounge is a little much, and it gives you the chance to be a little too much, too.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. It's a very swank bar/ Restaurant. The drinks are fantastic. They have a huge selection of cocktails. I got the curry chicken, one of their more popular dishes. It was plated beautifully and had a great flavor profile. We also got chocolate cake for dessert which was above average. They even gave us some $ off the bill since it was my birthday. The service was fantastic, ambiance is great, food was great. Over all- recommend.

Went with friends to their Sunday Brunch on Easter. The decor is truly fun. We probably between us tried every item on the buffet. It was good without being extraordinary. I gather from other reviews it may be better to go on a regular night for a meal freshly prepared rather than the luke warm buffet.

In Palm Beach this is a must-visit place, if just to take advantage of their great Happy Hour. The piano player was actually quite good and knew all the standards. All the staff seemed like they had been there for decades and could have been extras in Mad Men. As we left, the well-worn dance floor was getting some action. Worth a visit.

Had the Fathers Day brunch. My first visit here. I was very impressed with everything about this place. It was reminiscent of the Carlyle Hotel in New York. It was very much old money class and very elegant, loved it. The food and service were both impeccable. Not only that, it was priced very fair for that kind of quality. The bar looked like a real grown up bar with not one TV in sight. A rarity these days. There was a piano in the room and I thought all that's missing is Bobby Short singing his great songs. I am going back there for our anniversary this month for dinner. I expect it will be as nice as it was for Fathers Day. Recommend it highly .

my friend took us to this place during our long weekend in palm beach, and it was a blast. mind you, this place is not bumping with the young see-and-be-seen crowd, but rather the "locals" (if you know what most WPB locals are like). their service is great and the decor is lovely. highly recommend a stop if you're in from out of town!

Having stayed at The Chesterfield Palm Beach before, we decided to try the restaurant attached to it, The Leopard Restaurant, when we were back in the area to see the opera. It was a really good decision. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The decor harkens back to the kind of place you would think of existing in the late 1940's-early 1950's. The service by Colton was top notch. He was knowledgable, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. My wife had the crab cakes, and she said they were the best she ever had. She followed that up with Shrimp Stroganoff. I started with the Thai Salad, which was light and tasty. I followed that up with a very tender filet mignon. For dessert, I had the creme brûlée. It was so delicious that I was scraping the sides to get every last bite! That was the perfect way to end a perfect meal. For a special occasion or for when visiting Palm Beach, I highly recommend The Leopard Restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

This place is fun. We had dinner reservations on a Friday night and were seated immediately. The server was very friendly and attentive. I had the lobster salad and a vodka tonic. Both were good. The atmosphere is nice. The lights are dim. The lounge singer is versatile, current hits and hits from the 80's and 90's. The patrons were toward the older side, but who cares. Everyone was extremely friendly. People were cutting some major rug. Parking was not an issue because there was complimentary valet service. I will return.

We went to the lounge looking for fun and found it. The Happy hour was pouring good drinks and had a lovely piano player. We had a nice dinner wit decent food. The matre'd Mark was full of good information and set an excellent pace of quality and service. Then a singer guitarist played and we danced. Yes this for an older crowd and it was a pleasure to find such a place.

The Leopard Lounge was recommended by OpenTable as the top romantic restaurant in the tri-county area, so we went for Valentines Day. It was a fixed menu. The food was spectacular. They have a deep bar. The place is dark woods and glossy black leather booths, big, lazy leaf fans swaying to and fro over your head, and hand-painted ceilings that have kind of an infantile Chagall quality to them. Tucked away in the Chesterfield hotel, a quaint stuffy place of lodging which caters to the equally stuffy elderly old money of the island, the Leopard Lounge is a watering hole for people so rich and so old that their AARP card is positively dog-eared. The pianist knows the American Songbook and a few Neal Diamond tunes that can have their arteries sufficiently hardened to fit the room. The food was excellent. I had a lobster risotto that was all claw meat as my main course that was perfectly prepared. The shrimp cocktail was surprisingly pedestrian for a kitchen of this caliber. The shrimp had no pop and the "Marie" sauce was a little ketchup and mayo well below the standard of the rest of the cuisine. The dessert was a sampler of chocolate ice cream in chocolate shavings, creme brûlée, a chocolate-dipped strawberry, and mousse. The latter was terrible, with hunks of some brownie-like substance. The brûlée was delicate and awesome, and as much as I don't like chocolate, the ice cream was small enough and intense enough to get my interest. The bar is deep and wide like the mighty Mississippi. The only way I could tolerate this snob-a-torium in future would be to eat up there.

the atmosphere? swanky. the food? meh. the prices? too high. the best part? Jorge, classical guitarist. I'd go back for a drink at the bar and to listen to him play.

Love everything about The Leopard Lounge! The free candy as you walk in & out. The gorgeous decor. The kind and very professional staff and most of all...the not so Palm Beach prices especially during Happy Hour!!!

Normally I would rate the Leopard Lounge a 4, but the other evening we had a bad experience with the waiter towards the end of our meal. The food was great as always and the decor is old Palm Beach which we love but the attitude of the waiter not so good. We started off ok then after our table got up to dance we came back to no service basically. We tracked down a server to get our waiter only to see the waiter did not want to be bothered. The restaurant was practically empty so being busy was not an excuse. Also, the bill included an 18% tip which we normally would give more if the service was better. So as far as the food, ambience, music I rate it a 4. It's a fun place to dance especially not too many places on the island for that kind of thing. The DJ was terrific.

No more happy hour on Fridays! Went to Leopard Lounge on 1/2/15 and we were informed that there is no longer happy hour on Fridays. The bartender seemed annoyed that we asked about it. However, my drink was good, as it should be for the price, and the music was nice.

I love the feel of the lounge. 1st off I can never get enough of piano bars and live music so this was HEAVEN to me. It takes you back in the day when things were elegant and Gents were truly Gentleman. This is a locals favorite from what I can tell and I can see why. I also had the pleasure to dine as well and the food was up to par. I started with the crab cakes and they were Delishhhhhh. Lump crab meat in every bite ;) next up is the curry chicken.... The flavors were excellent nothing bland about it. Nice and spicy just the way I like it! The bartender was very cute, personable and sweet! You have everything you need in this one establishment Outstanding service (check) Ambience (check) Awesome food (check) Amazing entertainment (check) And the real reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because they cut me a (check)! Lol. Just kidding. This place should be on your to do list ;)

A delightful setting, luxurious setting without the hustle and crowds of a large property. The Chesterfield and Leopard Lounge and Restaurant is an excellent choice. From fine dining to a quaint courtyard, the Leopard is all one would want from a wonderful dining experience. From the Matre D' Mark Weiner to our waiter Ricky, everyone was experience professionals who's sole focus was an excellent dining experience. We started with a seasonal pumpkin soup (so good) and split their famous Caprese Salad. My wife had their Pasta Primavera and I had their equally famous Chicken Curry. Both of us cannot remember a better meal in a nicer setting with better service! Kudos Chesterfield and Leopard Lounge & Restaurant, you just made our favorite FL Getaway List!

We made a reservation here looking for an evening of fine dining and entertainment; they have a wonderful piano player playing tunes straight of of The American Songbook. The ambiance is very Old Palm Beach - just what we were looking for on this particular evening Well, I can't review much more here- we left this restaurant before we ate a bite- after being seated on time for our 8:00 reservation and waiting ALMOST AN HOUR...fifty five minutes to be exact, with no server coming to take our order! Why, you ask, would you wait that long before walking out in disgust? Probably, looking back (we were here about 10 days ago) because we had arrived early, sat at the bar, had a drink and schmoozed with the GREAT Bostonian bartender, before being seated. Having that bit of booze must have been enough to keep us almost amused as the minutes ticked by. Though we were given menus to look at by the manager when he seated us, the waitress (who attended the tables on either side of us FIVE times during this period) never once glanced at us. When we finally did leave, we found the manager and informed him. He was apologetic and said something about being short staffed. He didn't seem surprised or particularly upset. The aforementioned waitress DID apologize more sincerely; she said she was not assigned to our table, but should have taken steps to see who exactly was responsible to serve us. Thumbs up for taking responsibility. We were so disappointed in our evening, but when we asked the valet where he'd suggest we dine (it was after 9 PM at this point), he directed us to Charley's Crab. Great suggestion, because at Charley's they served us great steaks with an upbeat friendly attitude. The evening was SAVED!

I expected to see Don Draper wooing a client over a three-martini lunch this afternoon. The Leopard Lounge was the best bar experience I've had this year. Vacationing from Seattle and enjoying a respite from the Worth Avenue shopping experience, we stopped in around 4:00 p.m. for a drink and a snack. The martini was generous, with a small vial of extra vodka on the side. Appetizers of margherita pizzas and fires were perfect. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable, giving us a history of the decor, including the amazing painted ceiling (provided by an artist patron who was paid in drinks), the leopard carpeting, the dark wood and the ceiling fans. A transporting experience back to the bygone days (before the Palm Beach patrons had their first face lift).
