Nasty food and overpriced and be careful they charge for every little thing ( even if your meal comes with cheese they will charge you) guacamole was Brown and the chimichanga meat (they also charge you to shred the meet lol) was all lump up in the middle and was like boiled chicken boiled in bathroom floor water. Oh and don't eat your chips to fast they also charge for extra (refills),never be back again.

I'm very picky about my Mexican food but this place was very very good. The salsa is spicier tha your normal restraint but that's what made it excellent. I even enjoyed the refried beans which I normally do not. It cost about what you expect to pay these days so no surprise there. The only downside that I could see is they do charge for additional chips and salsa which is something a lot of places do these days. Doesn't mean I have to like it. And you only get one free refil on your soda, after that you pay for another. I don't ever drink that much but my boyfriend usually goes those three or four drinks. Still someplace I wouldn't hesitate to go back to again!

Friendly and efficient staff. Fresh and tasty food. We always clean our plates! The chef does not hesitate to do his or her best to satisfy special requests. Not a fancy place but attractive enough and very, very clean inside. The BEST Mexican food in Palatka. You will notice that this restaurant is named "La Hacienda III." Evidently La Hacienda I is located in Tallahassee which is where these restaurants got their start. They certainly have a good thing going. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the exterior is unattractive, but the food more than makes it worth the trip!

Not a bad little place. It looks kinda dirty from the outside but as soon as we got out of the car it smelled good. Clean on the inside and prices were fairly decent. Cheap beer!!! We would come back.

A good Mexican restaurant for a small town. The salsa is great. They charge extra for soft drink refills. Which is ridiculous since the food can be somewhat spicy. But overall, a good place for some Mexican cuisine.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
