I just had to share about this horrible woman who came in while we were eating! The young girl serving was so nice and came by several times to check on her tables. This woman and her family were very rude, had words with the owner and actually called him the N word and told him to go back to his own country. WOW is all I can say, the staff handled it well and all the tables were apologizing for her outburst! We have eaten here weekly for ages, I have been a cook most of my life...I would know bad food!!! I'm still in shock at the cursing spewing from her mouth with her kids in tow!!! I hope if you're ever in the Oviedo area you will stop by and eat. The prices are low, the food plentiful, and the staff is as nice as can be!! If you are that woman and you read this, I do pray you find Jesus! He is the only one who can take away your misery!

Can't review them for their food but I can for their dishonesty with a recent Groupon. Purchased a Dinner for two with complimentary beer/wine. Valid after 3pm. Well, they CLOSE AT 3pm. Nor do I plan on having dinner for breakfast or lunch and most definitely not beer or wine with my coffee. Thanks to groupon for refunding me on this dishonest deal.

Pros: -Food was decent. -Ordered an Omelette differently than menu provided, prepared correctly. -Order taken quickly. Cons: -Waited ten minutes inside to be acknowledged by staff. -Waited approximately 40 minutes for two simple orders. -Waitress handled trash bag then brought food out to us without washing hands. No condiments offered, no napkins. Overall, bad experience and we'll never be here again. Kitchen staff looked like they were doing their part though.

Good price for breakfast food. The decor is simple and feels like a home. We were seated quickly. My husband ordered the country fried steak with gravy on the side.. well, they forgot about on the side part and when the meal came out, it looked like a bowl of brown gravy. It was definitely not what we expected it to be. There was so much gravy that you can't taste the "fried" in the steak since it turned soggy. It tasted like a microwave meal. Definitely do not recommend. My meal came out good. I just ordered an omelet with a side of french toast and home fries. They do have really good home fries. They were crisp and seasoned well. My french toast was also cooked well. I don't really think you can messed up on that. Our server was nice. I didn't have a problem with him. I did have to remind him to get our drinks but it was no big deal.

This place was great. Best prices, great homemade food . Perfect breakfast. Will be back to try their lunch for sure. Right down the street from ucf, this place is a gem. Some of these negative comments have nothing to do with their food , they just seem like angry ppl that can't be pleased. Try it and you will love it.

Great easy breakfast ! On my way to work I stop by for a breakfast sandwich for about 6 bucks can get a great meal better then the fast food joints !

I'm being generous with the third star because the home fries are the best I've had. They brought us to a dirty table after a 15 minute wait. We watched them bring several other tables to dirty tables. The first server we had was hands down the worst I've ever had. Her attitude was TERRIBLE. She looked at like like we were crazy when we asked if they had iced coffee. Her response was "I have coffee & ice." When the other guests at my table said "never mind I will have water" she said "coffee okay" & brought them coffee anyway. A new server came & took over & was much better. If I had to deal with the other girl all meal I probably would never have come back. Throughout the meal the girl we had before made rounds filling everyone's coffee and skipped me several times. It was pretty obvious that she was doing it on purpose. They've got a lot to work on service but the food is alright when you need a last minute breakfast place. Our server even told us "just ask for someone other than Courtney next time you come in".... Oh. Okay thanks. Soooo confused what is happening in this place.

Good food - great value - and Mimosa's! Great staff. Not fancy or pretentious - just plain good! Our favorite Breakfast spot in Oviedo.

I wish I could review the food at this establishment, but we never got that far. We walked in, waited for 10 minutes and no one greeted us nor even recognized us. We then went to the counter and asked where we should sit. The dude seemed bothered that we were even talking to him and said anywhere there is a open table. We told him that we needed a high chair too and a patron (not a restaurant employee) got the high chair for us. Dude was really nice. We sat there for another 20 minutes with no one even recognizing us with a screaming child. We got up and left. Also, everything was sticky. I don't mean just the table, the jellys and butters were also really sticky and gross. We won't be going back.

Good little breakfast joint. Cheaper than your typically breakfast places like iHop but still has a great variety. Food is pretty decent and atmosphere is down home and inviting.

Very slow service. If you are not in a hurry, please come and have breakfast but don't expect to eat and go. No sense of urgency.

Well i came back in town. And decided stop by the breakfast club. This place needs a miracle, my favorite server, Kristal H. no longer work there, it was uncomfortably hot, the bathroom was a mess and someone have to do something about the roaches. Im very shocked that this place is still up and in this conditions. If you enjoy eating in a hot, unsanitary diner, this place is for you. I will never go back there again.

Seasoned breakfast potatoes were egggcelent. Ham was great! Spicy Indian eggs were just ok. But, all in all this place will definitely be a repeat.

First stopped by last week with the wife. Food was good. Getting in and seated was quick. Prices were great. The only thing I would think they could improve upon was service checking on our drinks was a bit slow and we had to wait for a refill. Otherwise I'm definitely coming back.

Website says open at 6:00am but they were not open at 6:33 when we stopped by. Their sign says 7:00. Website needs to be updated! Have eaten here several times before (never this early) and have never been disappointed. Really can't give it a star since we didn't eat there today, however I'm giving it a 4 based on previous visits.

Waited around 15 minutes for a table around 11:30 on a Sunday. Not a terrible wait considering, but the food definitely wasn't worth any wait at all. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, both of which tasted like they came straight out of a box. Eggs were passable, but everything was just very bland. The inside of the place was surprisingly run-down, considering the location is relatively new (large pieces paint chipping off the wall near us, dirty looking booths and chairs). Wouldn't come back.

Everyone is interested in your dining experience. Not only your server but the rest of the staff. Food is fresh and reasonable price. Perfect for a struggling college student. Grant you it is very casual that you have to seat yourself. Which reminds me of the diners in Chicago. Perfect place to enjoy conversation with people.

Great food hash browns were cooked the way I like them lots of cheese and great service

I ordered two pancakes, bacon, 2 eggs- over medium, and a biscuit. Had to send the eggs back, because they were underdone, but they came back great. Food quality was very good. If you get one of their specials, you can eat for dirt cheap. Coffee is VERY good. All in all, a good experience.

If you're one that likes watching old people eat, this is your place. I mean, heck, a Geriatric knows better than anyone where to get a good breakfast. It's the foundation of their day, if not, the highlight. So, if you want to blend in, rub some moth balls on your body and don your Solar Shields. Located in an unassuming strip mall on the corner of Chapman & Alafaya, this is a no frills place that is all about turning out good food. So, the tables and chairs don't match. I don't care. Neither do the top and bottom dentures on the lady next to you. This is the place you get your grub on, not criticize decor. The grits were outstanding, as was the French Toast. Only problem was with the Biscuits in the B & G. They were a little past their prime, which fell in line with the patrons. Prices are more than reasonable. Give this place a shot and if you have one, bring a defibrillator just in case.

Came here today for lunch with some coworkers. I had coffee, and a western 3 egg omelette with toast. Everything was delicious, even the coffee was good! The service was good and very friendly. My only complaint about this small breakfast place is that there weren't that many people in the restaurant, and it was a bit of a wait for the food, which was surprising. But I would definitely recommend this small restaurant, but don't go if you're pressed for time.

I ordered the Hungryman meal and coffee. Coffee is average. Pancakes were ok, scrambled eggs were cooked too long, bacon was crunchy, sausage was burnt instead of juicy. I won't be returning or telling anyone to eat here. Server wasn't very friendly or helpful either when I asked what was good. She didn't know...

This place was really good, had the bone in ham and eggs, everything was awesome. Even the potatoes were seasoned perfectly. I sat alone at the bar, Denise was my server she was very friendly, and Emma was also very helpful. Definitely will return!!!

Tried this place again as it is a local establishment. It is actually worse than the last time we went here. The home fries were dry, hard as a rock & obviously were nowhere near fresh. The toast (forgotten) was dry as well. Inedible, the home fries & the toast. The omelet was fresh at least. My father is a diabetic. He was drinking unsweet tea. When it was refilled, someone had screwed up and he was given sweet tea, which he had to spit out. Won't be back. On our last visit, the owners were there. They spent time reprimanding the staff on how to clean, sweep floors. They should pay much more attention to the food coming out of the kitchen.

I wouldn't even give this place one star, but of course, I have to in order to review the business. We have dined here twice and will never return. Both experiences were terrible. On the first we all received burned eggs and toast. There were no yolks left in the egg that's how much they were over cooked. In our second visit we received eggs that were burned and pancakes that were raw in the middle. My son ate the pancake before I could stop him and vomited all over his plate trying to get the food back out. Our other son refused to touch his food. You will receive a better meal at McDonald's in my opinion. Not worth the time.

I just wanted to comment on the Breakfast Club of Oviedo. Outstanding service is very good and fast. The meals are home cooking which it catered to families and mature people. You are able to experience after Church, on the way home from a game or shopping. A Great price for what you get. Just Good Food!!

My family and I were visiting from New York and looking for a good breakfast spot and found this little gem. We ordered, 2 orders of a hungry man bkfst, an order of French toast and hash browns with bacon and a kids Mickey meal plus two side orders of toast. EVERYTHING was delicious and our bill came out to $30!! Service, decor, food and prices were great. I only wish we found this place sooner. This will be our new favorite bkfst place whenever we visit.

We went here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. There was a little bit of a wait, but the food was great. It's your standard diner breakfast cuisine, but done very well. The portions are huge and it is very inexpensive.
(4)Tracy B.
One of the worst breakfast places we waited a hour and a half for our food. Their silverware was dirty and there food was meh. The biscuits and gravy tasted like raw flour and their bacon was poor quality. Definitely not worth the wait!
(1)Alyssa R.
The food was great and the portions sizes were incredible for the price. Our help tried very hard, but I would guess that this was his first time serving on a busy Saturday morning. In the Oviedo breakfast arena, I'd have to say that the Townhouse if going to have a run for their money with this one...

Enjoy my meal as long as the pain waitress does not serve you. Tells everyone her problems. Who cares. Yells to much in front of customers. Like to come in more and tell people but afraid they will get chubby checkers. That boy server is nice and also Emma.
(5)Geraldine P.
Waited 45 minutes for food that was sub par. Toast and English muffin burnt. French toast cold. Our server did not update us one time on the long wait nor did she come to see how everything was once we received our food. Waitstaff on cell phones, hanging out at counter with little sense of professionalism. We like to patronize local establishments but we will not return.
(1)Kathy K.
Service was extremely slow and we were not acknowledged for 10 minutes (and we were sitting at the bar!). We visited when they first opened so maybe they've changed around some things. Food was ok and prices were more than reasonable.

A great little breakfast joint that will not set you back a lot of green. Friendly staff especially the gentlemen who clean the tables. Everything is freshly made and nice side portions. If you arrive after 10am on the weekend be prepared to wait, although it is worth it. It's the closest thing to a real NJ diner in Oviedo.
(4)Hubert T.
I appreciated the friendly service. The food itself was nothing special. Want an unassuming, relatively cheap breakfast? This is a choice.

We went on a wintery day...or what passes for one in Oviedo. Even so, the parking lot was packed and two trips were required to find a parking spot. The place was crowded with no wait list but it seems to work for the most part. I heard one grumble from someone who came in after us, but turnover is quick and I don't think anyone waited more that 10 minutes. The coffee is standard restaurant fair. Not bad and served in the sturdy mug found on old navy ships. Service was friendly, if a bit slow. We were gabbing so much, I wasn't paying that much attention but when everyone else got their meals, the waiter asked what I meats and veggies I wanted on my skillet. It came a few minutes later with a "nice and hot" comment, which wasn't a bad save. My son's breakfast sandwich, sausage, egg, and cheese, was large and he said it was great. My daughter wasn't a fan of the crepe (or the butter slathered English muffin when it showed up halfway through the meal) as it had whole grapes and largest pieces of cantaloupe, but my wife loved it! I had sausage, mushroom, and onions on potatoes and it was the artery hardening delight I was hoping for. I stole some of my wife's grits and they were good. They may want to consider adding someone for the coffee/water refills. I heard a gentleman at the adjacent table saying this is the first time he's had to wait so long for coffee. My youngest had a coupon, which the machine didn't catch, so double check your bill. Either way, it was a very inexpensive breakfast for four and we all waddled out, which is the way you should leave a breakfast diner. Enjoy.

Classic diner breakfast. Served hot and delicious. Coffee/drink refills were abundant. Prices were affordable. The only negative is the diner smell. We left with full stomachs and stinky clothes.

Had lunch here on 2/10/14 and plenty of parking and seating at 12:30. We were greeted quickly and served beverages just as fast. I had to order the steak and eggs to try a breakfast fare; my wife had the chicken club. The 8 oz. sirloin was cooked to perfection (med rare) for being the thin type I was expecting. Eggs cooked perfectly, hash browns were standard flat top/commercial grade so nothing outstanding but very acceptable. The chicken club was incredible! Thick, juicy, steaming hot chicken breast cooked just right. The fries were fine and nothing to rave about. The meals came out separately which I thought odd but they both were served piping hot so no complaints. We have been getting far too many meals at other restaurants luke warm. Sweet tea was too sweet even for me. We had one of their coupons and they cheerfully made the adjustment on our bill. They do need to adjust ventilation to prevent or severely limit the cooking odors and smoke from infiltrating the seating area. There was a slight haze from that. I talked to other diners about their meals. One had the hamburger; he said it was awesome. His wife had the fish sandwich and she said it was very good. All in all this place is a keeper. The crowd was not geriatric as stated by another Yelper but a typical mix of younger and mid 50s crowd. I can certainly understand the limited parking available when they are busy. This little shopping strip is adjacent to the 7-11 and parking is very limited.
