Nicolette Lies First time at Mad Moe's after having driven past it for months. It was not at all what I expected. It was better. First, you drive by and see a place called Mad Moes that looks from the outside like it is a biker bar/ hangout and it may turn you off. Don't be deceived. The bar is on par with high end steakhouses in terms of décor. The booths are comfortable and the staff are friendly and engaging. There are more TVs than wall space which makes me think this is probably a fun place to watch the game. They even have pitchers of beer . Our server was Nicolette. She was enthusiastic and helpful and had very well manicured eyebrows. The sun was in my eyes and she promised me she would have it gone in minutes. Turns out that was a lie. The sun actually took 7 minutes to set and that is the only blemish on otherwise delightful service. We started with the loaded fries. HOLY CRAP. They were really good!!! But you get 645 pounds of potatoes so if you are just looking for a light appetizer this may not be the one for you. I was a happy fat boy though. The server recommended the Philly so I got a blackened chicken philly. It was good but heavily blackened. The kitchen likes to season. I like it that way but if you are watching salt intake just ask for it lightly blackened. My wife got the Turkey Burger which she wouldn't recommend. She said there were consistency and flavor issues that were pretty bad. However we both really enjoyed the environment and the service so we will be back. The only actual downside is that one wall was all open windows so you can sit outside at the bar. The reason this was a downside is because cigarette smoke kept drifting in while we were eating. It cost this place at least one star in my review. I don't like smelling and breathing cigarette smoke when I am not eating. I hate it when I am trying to enjoy my dinner. So if you can get past the possibility of smoke...I am sure it isn't a constant thing; and the fact that Nicolette lies about her control over the Sun then Mad moes may be a nice new place to try.

I've been here several times and have ordered burgers, fish sandwiches, and most recently the short rib mac and cheese. I've never been disappointed with the food, and it is very high ranking as far as food at a sports bar goes. Service is usually prompt and attentive. The portions are large and easily shareable. Burgers are cooked well and come with some of the best fries I have had. The grouper sandwich is so fresh and delicious, its one of the best in town. The short rib mac and cheese is hands down the best macaroni and cheese I have ever eaten. I love short ribs and was so excited to have this for lunch.

Great food and atmosphere. They have a avacado egg roll that is amazing as well as their appetizers.

We LOOOVE this place. Osprey has been in the market for a good place to drink and eat and Mad Moes fits the ticket exactly. The food is great and the drinks are generous to say the least, staff is friendly and service is great!!! Someone in another review said that it was noisy..duh, its a sports bar, what do they expect? For Sports Fans this place is a must with a plethora of TVs and sports events galore. Thank you Mad Moes for making Osprey a great place to live..mike and deb, your neighbors across the street.

Grouper sandwich was very fresh and perfectly breaded. The beer braised short rib sandwich was messy but awesome flavor. The onion strings were delicious and happy hour is from 11-6!

Food was gr8. Service was terrible. Had to wait 30 minutes for my beer and our dinners took 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Food is excellent. We have had burgers, sandwiches, pizza and salads and have enjoyed everything that we have ordered. The bar is well-stocked, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We are really happy to have a new restaurant with great food in the area. The prices are reasonable. My only complaint is the noise. Between the bar, the music, the televisions and all the hard surfaces in such a small space, it is crazy noisy. Everything is glass or metal and there is nothing to absorb the sound. I'm not sure if there's a fix, but definitely be away this is not the spot for quiet conversation over dinner. Overall, very good!

Great sports bar. Wonderful food and friendly staff. They offer a great beer selection as well as a damn good happy hour! Can't wait to get a bunch of friends together and watch a game there.

This is a new spts. bar near us. We did not expect much, but the food and service are pretty good. We had a burger, the tacos and a speciality salad. They were all good. As mentioned in a previous review, it is crowded so far and noisy.

Run of the mill attempt at a "Sports Bar". Too loud inside. Probably the building design. Food was decent but the loud annoying clientele will keep us away. I don't need 60+ year olds flexing in tank tops. Norma Jeans a mile away is much better and more welcoming. Plus Norma Jeans has 20+ screens and you choose your game in the booths.

Good and not so good here... You can sit outside, but you're right next to 41 traffic. Drinks are fabulous, heavy pours, great prices for happy hour. We went on a Monday, which is wings night. $.75 per wing, but just average/very greasy. The Italian grinder was good, not stellar, served with overly greasy fries. Total bill with 2 happy hour drinks was $42 before tip. My boyfriend reported that the men's room was a single seater, no urinal. Service was average, but friendly if not overly attentive. We like the location, as not much competition around. Young crowd.

first let me just say that those who say the service is less than must have ulterior motives... just saying!! I have been here a half dozen times and every time have experienced exceptional service! mind you, I have only ever sat at the bar. I have been here when it was empty and at the peek of happy hour on a Friday! service is attentive, friendly and fast... always!! the food is above average for a sports bar. they are extremely generous with their pours & decent selection of beers! I cannot wait for football season as this will be my go to bar. keep up the good work and I love the new sign outside :-)

Everything was great. "Hottie burger" with sweet potato fries and peel and eat shrimp.... Steve is an efficient and kind bartender. I would definitely recommend.

Decent place. Food is better than the service. The pizzas are really good as well as the turkey burger. The wings are ok and was hoping for better coming from a sports themed restaurant. If your passing by its worth it to check it out if you've never been.

Got into town late and this was the closest restaurant still open...SO GLAD IT WAS! I ordered the blackened Mahi fish tacos with a side of guacamole -- the guac is made fresh in house and it's AMAZING! Service was super fast, waitress was adorable and super nice, local beer selection on tap is impressive...highly recommend!!

"Pretty average" in the words of my fiancé. The service was friendly but slow, had to ask the server to fill my completely empty glass. The atmosphere was upscale, didn't match the Sports bar food. We had the Cuban Sandwich and the Chicken Cobb Salad. The French fries were great and the sandwich was good. The lettuce on the salad was wilted and browning. At the end of the meal we stacked our plates on the edge of the table, indicating we were finished. We again had to notify the server we were finished and needed our check. I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

Greatest Short Rib Mac and Cheese EVER! I was brought by a friend who lives in the area and it was worth the trip. I am not kidding when I say It was the BEST Mac and Cheese I have ever had. Your life is shallow and meaningless until you eat this Mac and Cheese. Keep up the great work. Matt from Maryland

We went in yesterday during happy hour and got two mixed drinks and our bill was $15.00. Then we are expected to tip on that! These drinks were not expensive brands and this is just a little sports pub in sleepy Osprey, Fl. So if we wanted to have 2 burgers and 2 drinks each we are looking at $60 plus. The bar and décor is nice. I like the floors. Unfortunately, we won't be able to afford to stop here regularly because it is too pricey!

We have been at Moes multiple times, so this review is based off of a cumulative experience rather than one visit. Moes has a great look and feel, there is plenty of seating around the bar and outside. The only drawback is that when the windows are open, cigarette smoke filters into the restaurant. For a sports bar the food is above par, short rib mac and cheese, the hot burger, the Cuban and the tacos are stand outs. The food is seasoned more than the average "denture food" establishments that flood our area. Drink prices are average to a bit over priced in my opinion. Where Moes is lacking is in consistency of service. Some waitresses or bartenders are extremely good at their job, where others are extremely lacking. And if you ask the manager for help, he will pile on excuses and make you feel like an idiot for asking. It may be a weird perception but it is what it is.

This is a brand new place, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's near my workplace and the options in the area are extremely limited. My co-worker, Kelly, and I made our way there one day last week. The

This is a very good addition to the local area. The food is good as is the selection of draft beers. The drawbacks are the consistency of service and the manager, who seems to have little management experience. With a local pub, part of the attractiveness for customers is being recognized when you regularly visit the establishment. Several of the staff are very good in this regard but the manager pays little attention to this basic strategy for managing a successful business. It's a good local pub that could be a great one with better management.

Pleasantly surprised. What I thought was going to be a hole in the wall sports bar was actually very nice inside. They wait staff is. Little slow but they are friendly. Sit where you want, including in front of one of the many giant televisions. Laid back atmosphere without feeling like a total dive. Hottie burger was awesome. The burger was nice and juicy, one of the thickest in the area. Perfectly portioned and the sides are good too. Tasty fries, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, you name it. Classic American food. Would return. Very good.

Great sports bar! Natalie is a truly amazing waitress, got our orders down to the T and prompt courteous service! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Great pub food. Service is so so. Per any sports bar, it will be loud! I'm bummed that they went from the battered fries to the cheaper frozen ones. Good selection of beers!
