    Just pass on this one....RUN RAJA RUN!! After speaking with the President of the Central Florida Caribbean Association he highly recommended this place for the ROTI. Now I am not an expert on West Indian food by any means but having spent more than enough time in the U.S.V.I. and the B.V.I, on multi occasions the last 15 years (this is my vacation destination almost yearly even got drunk on the Willie T!) I like to think I know good food regardless of style. Nothing exciting, Nothing appetizing, Nothing appealing in the place. You may also want to read the reviews by Michael S. and Nadeer A. This place would be in serious need of Chef Ramsey coming in and making over the whole menu. So not to leave on a negative note I'll take the advice of Dog The Bounty Hunter Chapman and say one thing nice before sending it off. Michael S. you are right "All The Chairs Match"!

    Restaurant's appearance is a tad gloomy. The chicken fried rice is the best I've tasted in Orlando, although it has a tad too much black pepper. Will visit again for my Guyanese Chinese food fix.

    I have to agree with Michael S. about this place being a typical Carribean Restaurant. However, there are slim pickin's here in Orlando especially for Guyanese "cuisine". I'm not sure how else to phrase that since calling Guyanese food "cuisine" often brings the familiar smirk of sarcasm to one's face. I digress. I enjoy their potato curry (but always 86 the meat since I'm vegetarian). Spiced just right and the potatoes haven't ever had that undercooked-crunch thankfully. The Dhal Puri is okay, although slightly bland and not very tender. Still satisfying when paired with the curry. The pholourie left a lot to be desired; a bit spongy, but maybe a different type than what I'm used to. A separate menu for halal meat is available for those who practice religious dietary laws. The sitting area has that typical "Carribean Green" decor, carpeted, tables seem clean and sports usually on the tv. I feel a little bit safer coming to this location rather than some of the other sketchy areas Carribean restaurants sometimes find themselves in. Plus I've always seen a security SUV monitoring the parking lot so that helps too. Although it's somewhat of a drive for me, the SR 408 is conveniently located for me to make a quick trip whenever I crave the dark, flavorful masala that most Eastern Indian foods exclude. I'm not sure what to think about the low reviews left by other yelpers. They seem a little harsh and don't offer any alternative venues. So considering the limited options that we have in Orlando, this place is A-OK in my book.

    This is probably the best Guyanese restaurant in a 500 foot radius. In other words, it's pretty spectacularly horrible. No boneless dishes. Mediocre dahl roti. I've had worse, but I've had way, way better. No plain roti (bus up shut) Watery curry with little flavor and no option to get it spicy. The Heineken was okay. I early, really wanted to like this place. My wife is Guyanese, and I joke with her that I live her people's food more than even she does. Not here, though. This would easily be the second worst Guyanese restaurant in Toronto.

    This is one of the very few if not only places I know in Orlando that has good authentic Guyanese dishes. It appears that everything is made from scratch that day. Their fried chicken in the chicken fried rice is one of the best I've ever had. I don't know what kind of seasonings they put on it, but it's amazing. I recommend that dish with the homemade hot sauce. I have also had their black pudding with the associated sauce that comes with it. Very tasty! The environment is a standard Caribbean sit-in restaurant which also offers take out (a popular option). Another plus is that they open late.

    The chicken fried rice is excellent. Always made fresh and hot, it is consistently delicious. Despite any reservations you may have about the area it may be in or the tendency to have a bar like atmosphere, the West Indian style Chinese fried rice and fried chicken is to this day the best I have had in Florida. All meats are halal. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely encourage anyone to try it. It is a very authentic West Indian experience for being in FL, not just the food, but the weekend community "lime" ambiance that is very nostalgic of being back in the Caribbean.

    Amazing West Indian food, especially the duck curry and Chinese chicken fried rice! Casual atmosphere, but more fitting for a to-go order. Being Guyanese, I can say that this food is authentic just like how it's made back home!

    In sharpening my tongue for the upcoming Orlando Duck Curry Competition, today is all about the Duck Curry. It was extremely busy when I called to place my order. When I showed up at the restaurant, it was packed. There were two large groups and several, I mean alot of, to go orders ready for pick up. That is a nice sign. At first glance of this duck curry my heart sank. The duck's skin was thicker than usual with larger pimples or feather roots. Not to be disappointed o ye of faint heart, it melted like butter. There was ample roasting prior to the long simmer. The aroma wafting from the container was pure curry heaven. Texture of the duck was marvelously tender. The flesh literally slide off the neck bones, that is not an easy feat to accomplish without mushing the rest of the pieces. There was a good combination of meat and bones. Viscosity of the sauce was magnificent and luxurious. It coated the back of a spoon evenly. No long runny, watery curry here. Perfectly balanced curry powder to masala ratio provided a distinct flavor profile with a slight underlining heat. The roti, a flat bread, was fluffy and medium chewy, with great soaking power to sop up that great sauce. This is definitely the Duck Curry to beat. Although, the owner said that he was not going to participate, it would be a shame.

    Typical, in the bad sense, Caribbean Restaurant. We called and asked if they serve dinner. I didn't know that I needed to get specific about that type of question. I didn't know that i needed to ask if they actually "served" dinner. I didn't know that I needed to ask if they ran out of most foods on the menu before they closed. I didn't know if I needed to ask If customers were welcome. We arrived around 7:30 for dinner and were wondering if it was closed or if we were walking in on a private party. There were a large group of friends (from the local West Indian community) drinking beers and talking in the dining room. There was a painter painting a large mural on one of the walls. We sat down at one of the tables and waited for the waitress, and waited. Finally the girl behind the cash register waived us over. It seems everything is served in a sort of takeout fashion. We ordered our dinners and drinks. Grabbed the bottles out of the cooler and sat down and waited for dinner. We got two Styrofoam containers of our dinner delivered to the counter. We picked them up and ate at the table. My oxtail was fairly good but not as good as my favorite local Jamaican place. My wife's chicken was fair. The rice and peas were OK. The bread was old and warmed in a microwave. But the best part was that the chairs all matched.
