Pros: - open 24 hrs - Excellent servers, very enthusiastic, even at 1 am - great food! Their soups were awesome, and so are breakfast options (eggs etc.) portions very generous, plenty of complimentary stuff - great location (inside a trendy looking Hyatt Regency), upscale interiors and yet very economical pricing In summary, if you are looking for a good dining experience at reasonable prices (even at odd hours), this is the place to go Cons - couldn't find any

I attend an annual expo at the convention center and have eaten at the B-line diner at least one time on every trip for the past four years. This past March I ate twice, I had lunch from their walk-up counter one day and sat down for a group breakfast another. The location is convenient which is the primary reason I continue to return. The atmosphere is typical of a diner however it is always pretty crowded and there is no natural light. The walk-up counter is quick and easy if you don't have time for a full meal. I have never found the food to be overly impressive. It is fine and I don't have any major complaints but it is pretty average and I would not consider the dishes I have had to be craveable. I will most likely continue to eat at the B-line simply because it is incredibly convenient and the food is okay but I will not be counting down the days until my next visit.

Quick, great service. Friendly staff. This place did me well during a week long conference with limited other food options. The tuna salad was fresh and tasty.

It's 2AM in Orlando, FL and you want something real to eat as if it was 2PM, but your choices in the vicinity of this entertainment destination seem small (7-11, Taco Hell...). Located in the Hyatt Regency Hotel, not far from downtown or Universal Park, the B-Line presents a spacious and well appointed diner restaurant atmosphere, even after midnight. We were the only visitors that night, or early morning, for a while as we walked through the short menu and marveled at the surreal quality of the place. After ordering easy plates of grilled cheese sandwiches, light salads, and medium well done burgers, we thought we were saved for the moment. Our luck ran out when the next table was occupied by a congregation of apparently drunk over-age frat boys, who had no end of cheap beers in their pockets. Whooping it up and making stupid jokes to themselves, the 'Natty Light kids started throwing things at each other and the littering the place with us in range. I recognize the coverage issues of grouping people together, but the management recognized our plight too and made a very generous offering to us on the bottom line before we left. We found the food and the service of this venue to be very good, if not excellent. When I return to Orlando, FL in the future, I will remember the surreal luxury of The Hyatt and also note the the B-Line Diner will also be waiting for me at 2AM.

Very nice little place inside of the Hyatt Regency. Was there for a conference and dined there the first night. Quite pleasant atmosphere, great service by the oh-so-cool-and-awesome, Christi. Mahi sandwich was just right and very reasonable considering the restaurant is inside of a very elegant hotel. I definite recommend it.

I had the mahi mahi sandwich. It was very good. We have now had breakfast and dinner here. The food is ok. The service is very very slow. Not sure why since both times the store was not busy. If you have found allergies you will not be able to enjoy any desserts because they are all made in house and in a very small space. Very pricey. But it's to be expected since it is the hotel prices you pay.

I had one of the best burgers in a long time here for lunch today. The fries were also great. I usually would never post about burger and fries but this was that good.

Ate here for a dinner and breakfast while staying at the Hyatt Regency. The staff were pleasant and efficient, and the food was very good. For breakfast try the Naan Lox, the omelette was also good. Prices are a little high, but reasonable given the convenience of not having to leave the hotel. This place is also open 24 hours.

A great place to get a nice variety of food. I had grilled grouper, my buddy had meatloaf. The ambiance is bright and Formica rules the day, but this place is like an upscale dressed up variation on a Denny's, with a great menu for people who appreciate a better quality of cuisine. (one day later) OK, just had to update this because I went to breakfast. This little meal of a freaking delicious omelet and some of the best toast I've ever had was great - but it pointed out to me how huge a difference it makes when the people working in the restaurant are excellent at their jobs. The food even tastes better when a server creates the perfect pleasant dining atmosphere. Specifically, Mohammed, aka Mo. Mo evidently has mastered the perfect, and I do mean perfect, balance of attentiveness, friendliness, flexibility and courtesy. If every restaurant server was exactly like Mo, I'd go straight to my house and rip out the kitchen as I wouldn't ever need it again. A 25% tip didn't seem like enough but that's all my company will allow.

By far this is the best diner we have experienced. The service and cleanliness was outstanding. They validate the parking. A diner with an elegant ambiance which allows the entire group to choose whatever food they prefer from breakfast, lunch or dinner and don't forget desserts. The best part of the entire meal.

Hardly any dinner choices and ridiculously expensive. Cost $80 for two adults and two kids, no booze involved!!! Food just wasn't good.

During a recent trip to Orlando, there were times when I didn't feel like driving for breakfast. I was hungry after a work out and wanted sustenance as quickly as possible. The pun inclined amongst us would even venture as far as to say that I made a...bee line for the B-Line Diner. (Groan and roll eyes if you see fit) And, on most occasions, we were seated promptly by a friendly staff surrounded by legions of bratty kids with aloof parents who are too busy stuffing their faces while little Dick and Jane reenact Star Trek's Amok Time fight scene. Hats off to the staff who actually told the hellions that running around a busy working diner isn't appropriate behavior and to please stop. Out of sheer sympathy alone I upped the tip a bit for the patience this staff shows that I wouldn't have. Breakfast is served from 6am - 11am while the B-Line is open 24 hours a day. There's even a B-Line express window where you can purchase pre-made items to go. The diner is massive, much like the Hyatt Regency itself. Booths, tables, stools, just about every possible arrangement of furniture is found here. Some of the staff even have names like "Doris" which just sounds like a quintessential waitress name. What about the eats? I tried to stay healthy during most of my breakfasts so opted for the $7 oatmeal. On most days it came with a small bowl of brown sugar , with one morning exception of cream. You can have it either with fresh strawberries (sliced) or slow roasted seasonal fruit. On the occasions when I either grabbed a sample from my wife's plate of real food or ordered something besides oatmeal, I can attest to the quality. The eggs were tastier than their rubber cousins I've had at recent brunches in Queens,NY. The peanut butter banana french toast is breakfast dessert and I see nothing wrong with that. Be warned that when the hotel is busy (ie, when kids are off from school and every one of them descends on Orlando like a plague of locusts), this diner will be busy and you may have to wait 20 minutes. Then again, at just about any immediate i-Drive location (Denny's/Perkins) for breakfast you'll be waiting. One tip is to try and have breakfast between 10-11am when most families have been up for 3 hours and are fighting the traffic to a theme park.

My husband and I arrived to the hotel late in the evening and the diner was our first stop for dinner. He had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup..YUM! I had the blackened mahi sandwich...SO GOOD! Ricardo was our server and he was amazing. I commented that he should be promoted and managing the place. His service was over the top. We were so impressed that we decided to have breakfast there. I had a vegetarian style southwestern enchilada breakfast. It wasn't listed on the menu that way, but our server Mo went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. The food has been excellent across the board. The service was the best I have ever had. Thank you Ricardo and Mo for your genuine desire to make our visits so enjoyable. You both deserve a bonus!

I stayed at the Hyatt while attending a conference and was not at all impressed with the breakfast. I had to add salt to my food and the coffee was pretty mediocre as well. I'm giving this review 3 stars because the desserts are awesome! I ordered a chocolate mousse cake and key lime pie slice that were both amazing. I'm told the carrot cake is good too, but I'm not a fan of carrot cake so I don't try it. They have a bakery counter display with lots more options to choose from. If you have time, go somewhere else for breakfast but definitely come back later for dessert.

Food was good ... can't complain ... but you're paying for being in that complex. - two eggs, bacon and potatoes (Score 5) - Pancakes (Score 5) The only reason why I killed one star is ... after we got the bill it was $34 for two cups of coffee and those breakfast entrees. Service was good ... had to wait in line and they only allowed as many people in as they could handle to ensure good service. While we were waiting for breakfast ... I went exploring and saw many tables unoccupied. We were in out fast.

This diner was a saving grace during my stay at the Hyatt recently. Firstly, it's open till really late, so whether you want a late dinner sandwich, a grab and go snack or breakfast, this is a safe bet. I chose to dine-in one evening and did take out on the 2nd day. My first night I was starving and the in-room menu had limited vegetarian / pescatarian choices and was mostly a kiddie-centric menu. After considering all my choices, I went to the diner & had the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich. And my, was it a good decision or what?! Simply sumptuous, the fish was charred & seasoned to perfection, the bread was fresh and no skimping on the fish. It was easily one of the best fish sandwiches I've had. The staff was very helpful and service was quick. Sorry, I was so hungry, I forgot to take a pic! The next night I got the tomato bisque + grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was really rich and creamy - I love tomato soups, but am not a fan of the super-rich consistency which this one had. The sandwich was also on the greasier side and I wasn't able to finish either of the two dishes. Too rich for my taste. I wish I had opted for the Mahi Mahi again. Both meals cost me approximately $18 each and for a high-end hotel, I don't think it was too expensive. Ambience: Typical diner and nothing fancy.

So glad they had a 24 hour diner in the Hyatt that serves select breakfast items late in the day. Coming from Colorado there was a 2 hour time difference and I had some fun late nights at Disney parks so breakfast was more like Noon or 1pm. I came here 3 times for breakfast the omelets are good. Zara was the best waitress great service and super friendly. My last breakfast she was not working and I had to ask for more coffee. They have beautiful desserts and had to have a lot of temptation to walk away. I also ordered a late night hamburger after drinking around the world at Epcot. The food was really expensive at Epcot so I came back late and ordered a hamburger - it was really good. I wouldn't say the food was outstanding but it was definitely diner good food.

Pretty good for a diner, 24-hour B-Line is located inside the massive complex of the Hyatt Regency Orlando resort. Service was friendly but you couldn't forget it was a diner as servers were hustling and pacing up and down the aisles. We were sat right away, I ordered our and food, I ordered the Tomato bisque soup bowl along with the grilled cheese and jam sandwich served with french fries. The soup was tasty and way too creamy for me, like heavy cream, and the bowl was huge, the grilled cheese and jam sandwich was very tasty and well prepared. All of our dishes were huge. My friend ordered a salad and towards the end of his salad bowl he found a huge plastic thing inside! We couldn't make out what it was, we informed our served who graciously offered to replace his meal, a bit later the chef came out to apologize and inform us that the foreign plastic yellow object in my friend's salad did not come from their kitchen and that it must have come from the food vendor, regardless he was very apologetic and offered to comp our 3 meals, they also offered us anything else we wanted and offered us drinks to go which was very classy. Stuff like this happens, and our server and the Chef handled it very well, excellent customer service.

Well. If my review was merely based on the food, it was great! However, service wasn't so deserving of such. Hiram, our server, took our orders. Someone else brought our sandwiches. Someone else brought our desserts (which was a main dish for us). Hiram finally came back and offered an apology for the delay. Thankfully, it didn't take too long to receive our meal ticket. The diner itself was cold, may have been the temperature or the service.

Food is foul service is terrible, but at least you pay triple for the food. Worst place I have ever reviewed... First day I got an egg sandwich, it had a ham steak on it and was mostly gristle, and I was charged 3$ extra for hash browns I didn't ask for. The waiter seemed put out the I pointed it out. Second day I got a Belgian waffle (12$) and it tastes foul, almost as bad as the coffee. Not a place I will come back to.

Everything about the Hyatt Regency Orlando is spectacular. The rooms, the amenities, the service- all around top-notch. We enjoyed an overnight stay and had a wonderful dinner at Napa. In the morning we decided to have breakfast at the 24-hour hotel restaurant- The B-Line Diner. Berries and pancakes at the B-Line Diner One of the first things we noticed were the high prices on the menu. $13 for a plate of pancakes, $15 for smoked salmon and Naan. However, we were at a high-end hotel so the inflated prices weren't completely shocking. We were confused by the service though. We were greeted by three different servers and had one of those servers tell us how busy he was because he had a table of (eyes rolling) "New Yorkers." Apparently, New Yorkers, according to this server, are just known for running the servers ragged, especially New Yorkers from specifically Brooklyn and the Bronx. I was absolutely floored, he had no idea if we were from NY as well. I certainly found it insulting and rude that he was complaining to us about another one of his tables. When I originally wrote this post I was really concentrating on this particular server and the food was merely the sideshow. I have since decided to talk more about the food as it is not fair for one server to ruin the restaurant for everyone. I was with my friend Chad who ordered the $13 pancakes. He had six mini flapjacks with a side of berries and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The pancakes themselves were smaller than normal but larger than silver dollar cakes, but the fresh berries made the entire dish filing and delicious. I went with the Naan and Lox ($15). Cream cheese, red onion, tomatoes, capers, hard-boiled eggs and smoked salmon layered onto a large piece of Naan bread. Fresh dill sprinkled over top really made the salmon and capers pop with flavor. I really enjoyed it and would absolutely order this again. Also featured on the menu were items like Cinnamon Raisin French Toast and a Belgian Waffle with toasted pecans and crumbled bacon. (We of course would omit the bacon but it sure sounds tasty.) We also ordered a side of the hashbrowns ($4). Nothing special, they were good. The B-Line Diner is open 24-hours a day. All day dining options include Grilled Cheese sandwiches, Burgers, Salads and Grilled Mahi Mahi. The prices are high and our server doesn't like to wait on New Yorkers, but the food was pretty amazing. If it were up to me I would give about one sprout for our server, but five sprouts for the food. However, again, I don't want to penalize the entire restaurant for one employee so I give four out of five sprouts.

Great food... Great service... Like everything else in the hotel busy on a weekend. We all chose sandwiches from the burger to the Mahi-Mahi it was great. The desserts were outstanding too... The Root Beer Float was thick with amazing vanilla ice cream and with several Cheese Cakes to choose from we spent a lot of time sharing bites... It is however as pricey as the hotel... But worth it... Great choice for night or day munchies...

The B-Line Diner has been around before the Peabody became the Hyatt Regency. It's a great place to grab a quick bite and if you're in for some large American portions! If you're staying at the Hyatt Regency, you will most likely venture into this 24-hour diner. The service was great and food items were delicious - they can cater any dish to your liking (ie. add chicken to salad or substitute sides). The B-Line features an open kitchen, with a glass display of homemade ice cream, desserts, and a wide variety of enormous homemade cakes, pastries, and other confections. They also offer take-out service at the B-Line Express window, so you can bring whatever you may be craving back to your own room to enjoy. I've tried the B-Line Club sandwich - All Natural Turkey Breast, Nitrate-Free Honey Ham, Baby Swiss, Mild Cheddar, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo, Pickle with a side of Kettle Chips. It's impossible to eat the sandwich without taking it apart - It's stacked so high, it wobbled when our server carried it to our table. The kettle chips were warm and one of the best I've ever had! The whole downside to this dish was that the roof of my mouth was all scratched up by the toast.. but this sandwich is delicious! I would recommend the B-Line diner to anyone staying at the Hyatt Regency - It's rare to find efficiency that comes with decent food and quality service!

Food is Average dinner type food like denny's food at high end restaurant prices. would be nice to stay at a nice hotel and not get just ripped a new one cause of the location. This food should be priced in accordance with the industry. I would love to see a chain that believes in quality customer service at reasonable prices, not just gouge people cause they are at a convention or on vacation. most people that stay go out for meals due to the out of this world prices this makes getting your car a hassle and then coming back and waiting to park is another hassle you end up taking half a day to get brunch, time that could be better spent poolside with a cold beverage!!

#1 reason to go: Open 24 hours #2: veggie stack (portobello)--this was really good #3: tomato bisque soup #4: see the Hyatt, it's pretty grand It's not a fine-dining place and I am sure if you're into shakes, burgers, and fries-things will be good. But if you go to Orena (nearby, by car or trolley) and stay a bit too late and you need to get vegetables into your system, you can come to B-Line and get really good food. We paid some extras for substitutions (fries instead of kettle chips) and added the tomato bisque at cost, but it was worth it! Had a reuben on a previous day and we weren't thrilled about it, but the fruit cup at breakfast/lunch was good. Good option, esp. late at night when everything else is closed, though service is probably better at brunch-time.

Best reasons to go: 24 hour service and lack of any real alternative at the hotel or convention center. (Which itself was nearly a one mile walk from my room at the Hyatt to the place we were meeting.) The food is meh. I had the grilled cheese and bacon sandwich two days in a row. Not only were they pretty different (one had thick bread, one had regular; one had more cheese, one had less), they were both cold when served. I think the combination of Florida air conditioning, slow service, and weak heat-lamps adds up to cold food.

I'm giving the B-Line Diner a 5 Star review not for my lunch today but from the wonderful memories of the past a my future trips to the B-Line. Please indulge me. When this hotel was the Peabody (now a Hyatt Regency) I used to make it a point of eating at the B-Line for lunch everyday of my stay and for one specific dish, the chicken pot pie. It saddened me that it was no longer on the menu. I inquired and Chef Corey Crawford gave me his business card and said to let him know when I was coming to town and that he would make me his famous chicken pot pie. Now that is service! By the way, my grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque soup was delicious. It just wasn't chicken pot pie. B-Line to the B-Line!

It's hard to differentiate yourself with bacon and eggs, but B-Line managed to do it for me. Starting with the friendly hostess I felt welcome and as a valued customer immediately. My bacon and eggs with hash browns and locally-baked sourdough bread was perfect. My tea came in a large pot with TWO tea bags!!! (Tea drinkers will understand my enthusiasm). The service was exceptional and my meal was ready very quickly.

Things were uh, a little hazy for me after the Huey Lewis concert at the Hyatt Orlando, what with endless bourbon flowing all night long. Somehow I had the wherewithal to stumble into the B-Line Diner before the long walk back to the Hilton Orlando where I was staying. Judging by the photo I took, it looks like I ordered a really good grilled cheese sandwich with bacon. And my friend, whom I was apparently talking to on the phone the whole walk back, told me I was raving about how good it was. (While complaining that Huey Lewis was a surly jerk earlier at the after party where we were all hanging out.) I guess that makes me a fan. (Of the diner, that is. Not so much Huey.) 4 stars.

Great place to grab some food no matter what time of the day or night. When I was here for a conference we ate at B-Line three times. I normally don't like to eat at the same place over and over again, but our time and options were limited due to the conference hours. Anyway - I would recommend the grilled mahi-mahi sandwich. Fresh and great flavor. I liked the sandwich so much that I got this twice in a row. The third time I got grilled cheese with tomato soup. The grilled cheese was average but I wasn't a fan of the soup. It wasn't that it was bad - just not to my liking.

Valet parking for free just park at front and get your ticket validated . We got the berry cake combo it was delicious and Portobello rap with potatoes chips all I can says is mehh tasted like a pizza in a rap and the hummas combo very cold hummas with warmish bread if you like this sort of thing order it , the napkins leave white crap all over you if happens to touch your clothes don't know what that's about... For desert ordered the key lime pie not had this before so can't compare was very tart with a nice smooth texture with a lime hit at the end didn't make my mouth water like the Pancakes but was okay, brownie sundae which was a warm brownie with ice cream, tasted just as you think and sweet. If your here the ac is on so it's a bit chilly so beware :p but i will give them 3 stars as the menu wasn't as big as I thought it would be, not much vegetarian options but very nice hotel.

I'm a big fan of the B-Line. We make a point of stoping here every time we go to Orlando. The service is pretty efficient and friendly, and we've never had a meal we didn't like. Plus, the prices are not unreasonable by convention hotel standards.

We had a 5-star experience here despite its being packed to the rafters with football fans for the Citrus Bowl. We were seated quickly by a friendly, attentive staff. We asked for dessert first! The tiramisu was divine, the blue cheesecake was good (but outshined by the tiramisu which had much more depth of flavor). We enjoyed the 4 cheese grilled cheese served HOT (though we would've preferred no tomato in the center) and the tomato bisque soup was flavorful (tho a little too spicy for one of us). Prices were fair. Our water glasses were kept filled and we got out of there when WE wanted to, as the bill came promptly. It has been redone in a contemporary sleek look, gone is the "diner" feel. We were surprised they kept the name (from the old Peabody). Valet parking is free if you get your ticket stamped in the restaurant. Another plus.

The restaurant is at the astonishing Hyatt Regency Hotel. I Went with daughter to have dessert after a couple hours of fun at Dave and Buster's. Nice display of desserts by the entrance. The service was the best. We had coffee, a soda, a vanilla Malt shake, a piece of red velvet cake and a piece of barvarian cream filled cake with fruits ( strawberries, kiwis and blueberries) about $27.00 total bill. I loved the coffee strong and good flavor. The malt was to die for....very delicious. The two cakes were ok but the fruits were very yummy, very fresh very tasty..., and yes I will go back to try other entrees. If you park at the hotel garage, have the restaurant validate the parking ticket for you so you dont have to pay for parking.

Had the opportunity to eat here on several occasions during my stay and everything was wonderful. From the breakfast to lunch and supper was all magnificent. I ordered the grill cheese and fries. It appeared to be more of a gourmet in that it was on sourdough and had multiple types of cheese on it. When it arrived it had a lot of bread and minimal cheese. All I could taste was the sourdough. The fries I was not able to eat. They looked delicious but it tasted as though they had been fries with fish and that was all I could taste, even ketchup couldn't cover up the fish taste. Service was great food was terrible. Diner atmosphere but not diner prices as it was $11 for grilled cheese & fries.

Service was friendly and accommodating. I'm traveling with family that tends to be pretty demanding and they dealt with it like troopers. I like that they serve strong starbucks brand coffee. I knocked off one star only because the food is pretty standard diner food. I liked it but I probably won't remember it a week from now.

We're staying at Hyatt Regency so we ate here for conveniece. Additional star was for the good service. Food was decent, but not awesome for the price. At first I was excited about breakfast at a "diner," I was thinking about stacks of pancakes, bacon and eggs. But all that changed. It's all gluten free, cage free here. A diner implies good old fashioned grease like using real butter and flour. The kids were not happy with their bland eggs, burnt bacon and strange square of hash browns. I ordered the whole grain raisin french toast; soggy and undercooked. The server never came back to refill drinks even though this place was empty at 9:30am. Bill was $76. We could have all eaten at Denny's for half that and been satisfied.

This is the diner in the back of the Peabody hotel on I-Drive. I guess I expected more than just a diner since it was 1) in the Peabody 2) it has decent reviews and 3) it is in the Peabody. Sadly, it was not a great experience as far as the food goes. Our service, however, was awesome. I do give props to our server, she was great. Also, if you dine, you can have your valet comped. By brother was in town and it was late when he arrived so we just grabbed a late dinner here. I went with the B-Line Croissant: Sliced turkey, smoked bacon, avocado slices, lettuce, tomato and it comes with a side of chips. The Croissant was not fresh at all which I was super bummed about. The bacon & avocado were very sparse as well. Just not good overall, I couldn't even get through half of it. The dessert case looked amazing, maybe I should have just got some sweets. Overall, I appreciate that it's 24 hours and convenient for those in the hotel, just not a fan.

I ordered the club sandwich on wheat bread. It was delicious! They toast the bread very well and it came with a side of chips but you can select French fries instead.

Torn between 3 or 4 stars...I visited this location several times during my stay for the DSA convention. The service was always friendly and the food was very good. For the price and location I would expect everything to be just a little more consistent and top notch!

Just finished another fabulous breakfast here. The main reason I'm writing is to say what an amazing waiter we had. Mo is absolutely outstanding, kind and great at what he does! An asset to the restaurant.

Decent place to get a meal, especially for a hotel joint. Solid burgers, decent Chicken Pot Pie. Save room for desert.

We went here around 10 for our late night craving. We was amaze by the colorful and delicious dessert that was on display when you walk in. We order the salmon and the shrimp grit special with a bowl of soup. The taste was there, I was surprise of how it taste based on a 24hr dinning service. The dessert was on point, it wasn't too sweet or too bland; just right. The food hit the spot as well as the dessert. Money well spent on theses wonderful delicious food.

Def love this place.. The oscar eggs Benedict is delish!!!!! Always friendly service and always open.. The bar b Que chicken pizza is ridiculous .. I see people saying it's expensive.. If you stay at a 4.5 star hotel.. What do you expect from a 24/7 diner that's on site? It's not IHOP.. It is what it is.. I enjoy eating here for breakfast and or late night... I recommend it..

It is good to have a reasonably priced restaurant in the Hyatt that is open 24/7. I had their Cuban sandwich and it was good. Our server was very accommodating in finding a Coke product beverage that was requested even though they now carry Pepsi products. I was impressed since it was during a busy lunchtime service. The B-Line Express window is a great way to pick up some of the same menu items served at the diner. At the window I observed the staff being very patient and accommodating to a customer that was neither.

If you're staying in the Peabody hotel, it's a great option because they're open 24/7 - unfortunately my review is only for breakfast (and a few desserts!). I got: - Oscar benedict. Two thin asparagus pieces with juicy lump pieces of crab. The muffins were thick, so I ate half. - Egg white scramble. It's exactly what it is.. egg white scramble with spinach and tomatoes. Comes with veggie patties, fresh fruit, and toast. - Chocolate mouse cake (with big oreo cookie pieces inside).. it's the best mouse cake I've had - but then again i was having an emotional day (and am an emotional eater so anything with chocolate would've been good!). Good for sharing but I had it alllllll to myself :) - Tiramisu cake. It's cute and yummy too! A small portion perfect for 1. - German chocolate cake. Meh, it was OK. Way too sweet, and the slice is good for sharing! They have take out too! I wish they had some vegetarian/gluten-free options.. but breakfast here beats the options you get for room service (..and it's cheaper)!

It was Sunday morning, we had just checked out of our hotel, and we were hungover. Which means, we were parched and we were starving, and we decided to walk off our stupor. Out comes the yelp app, and we search for breakfast spots in the vicinity. Bingo, this place looks great! So we walk the 2+ miles (go us!) to the Hyatt Regency Hotel and meander inside to find the B-Line Diner. Nice hotel, btw! Now, yes, we knew it was in a hotel, but it's called a diner FFS, so I was a little taken aback when they charged me $6 for a glass of orange juice. Needless to say, I left with a full belly and an empty wallet. This is my main reason for leaving only two stars. I eat plenty of places that break the bank, but I don't feel ripped off if I leave and the food was something to write home about. But this was just okay. It was so non-memorable. I think we shared a biscuit with gravy (huge biscuit, which is why we shared) and had an omelet of some sort. But I probably would have been happier at IHOP.

While the hotel is no longer known as the Peabody, the B-Line is still the exact same. The service here is fantastic. It seems as if no matter how many things you ask for, the people just aren't bothered by it. The food is also fantastic. I had the peanut butter-banana French toast, and my goodness is it good. The hash browns here are also good. Even better once you add their wine-cooked onions. Their pancakes are something else though. Easily some of the best I've ever had. The ambience is very nice and the diner has an upscale feel to it. The decor and music is comfortable as well. The main drawback to this place would obviously be the high prices. However, it is about what you might expect considering the area and the hotel itself.

This is the best diner I have ever been to. The Blue Plate Special (best ahi tuna ever) and all of their other amazing food is to die for!! The superstar staff is amazing (loved Viola, Caesar and Nesha and the chefs all great)!! Everyone is there to please the customers and make sure you have more than a meal - but an experience! I ate there 3 times in 2 days! I can't wait to go back.

A local friend took us to lunch here. What a fun place! It's like a diner, but upscale. The desserts in the front case looked amazing, though we'll have to come back to try them. I had the Reuben sandwich, and it was very good. Toasted, tasty 1000 island dressing, excellent fries. The waiter was very perceptive and did not bother us too much as we were having an important conversation. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.

Breakfast was good. We ordered eggs, homemade bread (fantastic), eggs Benedict, pancakes, and the egg sandwich. Everything tasted great and was priced just like everything else on I-Drive = pricey. My favorite part was being able to order a real Starbucks latte in the B-line. It's not something I indulge in often but after a pretty sleepless night, we had 3! We also hit up the B-line for late night desserts. The kids got ice cream and we ordered a few treats to take to the room. When we got upstairs to enjoy our snacks I noticed after one bite that the creme brûlée was literally soup. I packed it up, along with the other cake because they gave us the wrong item. They exchange it with no problem and inspected the brûlée after I said I thought it was never cooked. They offered numerous things to make up for it but it was not necessary. Instead we got the Oreo cake ball and enjoyed it - a lot!

Well, well, well.. Look who has a nice turkey burger on a pretzel bun which I ordered with grilled onions (seriously a must, they have these sweet, smokey grilled onions that make it all worthwhile) and avocado, and regular fries instead of chips? You do B-line! And in my estimation you have improved a little. Well done B-line. Well done.

As everyone who has attended a trade show at the Orlando Convention Center can attest, the food court options are equivalent to what they dump in the pig troughs on a farm. Yes, I said it, the food sucks there! Smart show attendees know better than to settle for eating sub par fast food options, so they head over to the B-Line Diner across the street at the Peabody hotel. I hit it up for lunch today and was so happy that I did. Instead of waiting on line to grab a booth I took a quick seat at the counter which also offers a cool view of the line chefs working the open kitchen. Had the grilled tilapia sandwich. Served on multi grain kaiser bun, cole slaw on top, onion, pickle and broccolini as vegetable choice. Delish! Lots of options on the menu for salads, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. Can feed my inner fattie here, and then walk off the calories back at the trade show!

This place is a lifesaver for the non wealthy folk staying at the Peabody. I went here for dinner. The service here is unbeatable. People were painfully nice. Maybe I'm just used to the cold, cruel personality that is a lot of Philly. Either way, it was enjoyable. I ordered the portabella burger and it was awesome. It's set apart from the crowd because it comes with a delicious black olive tapenade as well as other roasted squash and peppers. B-line really did the portabella justice at a decent price. I was too full to order any of their dessert, but a few friends told me it was the best. Peabody gets an A+. If I ever get the chance to stay here again I'll be back.

There's not a lot of option in the immediate vicinity of the Orange County convention center for food, other than a few chains, and one fast food. and hotel restaurants. The B-Line Diner (in the Peaboydy) isn't cheap, but it is good. way better than Denny's or Ihop or whatnot. I came here twice during a recent convention, even though i wasn't staying at the peabody. First time we came in a big party, and they set up a table in the way back for us. I got the pulled pork sandwich: yelp.com/biz_photos/b-li… Pretty darn good pulled pork served on torta bread, with carmelized peppers and onions. nice fries (and i also tried the sweet potato fries of a friend). this was a winner of a dish. And for dessert, we all ordered a different one. though it turned out they were out of one or two. I think i picked another winner with the key lime pie. really good. so good that a friend of mine came back to order one to go a few days later. came here a second time for breakfast. got eggs and sausage and hash browns. tasty breakfast. it does cost a little more, but the food is definitely better than the chains. open 24/7.

This restaurant is inside the Peabody Hotel. I was at the hotel for the conference so I ate at the restaurant twice for lunch. Both times I had good meals and good service. I first lunch I had was the grilled fish sandwich. It was nicely cooked, not overcooked. Fries were good too. The second lunch I had was the Greek salad. It had all the traditional Greek salad ingredients - feta, tomato, cucumber, olives. It was tasty, a little overdressed. I also had a really yummy ice cream sundae. I also got a salad one day from their to-go counter. It was tasty too. I did not try any of their baked goods but they had a ton of items (cakes, cookies, etc.) in the pasty window. Definitely will have to try something if I am ever at the hotel again.

Friendly and helpful staff. The eggs benedict is good. Have Starbucks coffee, but it's not a real Starbucks store. Leave early before a break if their is a convention otherwise you won't get a seat.

Interesting little restaurant. Stayed at the Peabody during a convention within the hotel and ate here a few times out of necessity. The first time I nearly choked on my water when I saw the prices, so I settled for some hummus, tapanade, and a slice of cake. The server who helped me was incredibly kind and useful, helping me with my menu choices and giving me honest opinions about the food and portions which I always appreciate. After I ordered, he asked if he could get me anything. I jokingly asked if I could take it back to my room (it was late and I was exhausted) and he said "Absolutely!" He brought me everything that I had ordered in a little bag and I was able to enjoy it back in my room. +++ But sadly, this was my only highlight at the BLine. The next few times the service was slow, inattentive, and even a bit rude. The chips we ordered were soggy and terrible, and the red velvet cake made me SICK. (Trust me, you don't want to know) - - I will say, however, that after 5 days of searching and checking in and hoping and praying to get to try the famous key lime pie... I finally got my hands on a slice. And wow. WOW. Amazing. ++ So in the future, if I ever stay here again... I'm sticking with take out. =)

I was in town attending a tradeshow at the OC convention center, located right next door to the Peabody Hotel and unfortunately, the food at the OCCC was crap so I escaped for lunch to the B-Line Diner. The resto was pretty busy, noticed a few fellow tradeshow attendees with their badges, glad that I wasn't the only one! But it was your typical diner setup with an open kitchen and counter seating but definitely much more upscale than your neighborhood greasy spoon. Their menu offering for lunch was rather slim, simply salads, sandwiches, burgers and a few entrees but all with a gourmet twist. Again, not your neighborhood greasy spoon! I ordered their Crab Cake Burger, priced at $18. I can honestly say that was the best Crab Cake sandwich (burger...whatever) I've ever had! You know why I can say that? There were lumps of fresh crab in the patty! Not to mention, the crab was blended and seasoned so perfectly into a nice patty. The brioche bun was also a nice touch. For dessert, I had their Caramel Tres Leches, priced at $6. Ehh...it wasn't all that great, the "caramel" was like a tiny dollop, if that and the cake was quite dry and the size of a cupcake, not worth the $6, I say. But I saw their dessert case as I walked out and the other desserts looked really good. The service was really friendly and man, my server kept my glass of iced tea filled to the rim every time she passed by, and all with a smile. Overall, you'll find some good eats at B-Line Diner, typically overpriced since it's in a hotel but, it's quality stuff! If you're staying at the Peabody, walking distance to the Peabody or attending a convention next door, definitely check them out!

Thankful that this place was in the hotel. B-Line restaurant: great service, made custom salads for me daily with all the vegetables in the world I could think of. I am so thankful they did that for me. It would be great if they added some organic options to their menu...

During my two day stay I had both lunch and breakfast here. It was raining so this was a great option because it was inside the hotel. Food was good at both meals and the service was also good. If I had stayed longer I probably would have eaten another meal there. Good diner food.

I was here for 8 long days with really crappy food options. B-Line Diner is the restaurant that is open either late or 24/7, and I believe some items on the room service and pool service menu come from this kitchen. My first lunch experience was the Asian chicken salad. It contained my least favorite green, iceberg lettuce, and was really sloppy. It's like they bought it in bulk at Costco and just threw in ingredients to make it more Asian. All that was missing was providing chopsticks instead of forks. I had the tortilla soup which was incredibly watery, but tasted okay. Later at night I got the spaghetti Bolognese. Again, watery sauce. Microwaved meals from Trader Joes would have been better. I grabbed a quick sandwich to-go via their express window. I believe I got the chicken breast sandwich. And for another comparison, 7-11 has better tasting sandwiches with a whole lot less of needless breading. And finally, my pool lunch was the Caesar salad and hummus. Not surprisingly, unimpressed. Everything tastes like it's mass produced with little thought given to flavor. I would just pay a little bit more and eat at Napa on the other end for lunch.

Just like it sounds, a B-class diner (or maybe C). Very expensive for what it is, and the frozen fries were a big turn-off for such a place in such grandiose hotel.

The food was ok. The service was horrible. Had to ask for everything we needed. When she dropped the food off, rather than check to see if we needed anything she just left the table with no word. It was not busy and I guess they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch because while we were eating another server came over and without a word juts removed the jelly caddy off our table. Ok now how do I put jelly on my toast that is sitting in front of me? It will be a long time before we return here. The only good thing was my kids got to see the parade of the ducks in the hotel!

Convenient and decently priced are the strong points. And desserts. Came twice in the span of 4 days, one server was great, the other was a bit slow. Food itself is decent. Not awful, but nothing to rave about either. We tried the half pound burger, chicken sandwich, panzanella and portobello burger. Edible. Substantial portions. Desserts were worth the $5+ range - key lime pie, carrot cake and Better Than Chocolate Mousse were delish. Thanks for providing sustenance at odds hours!

brunch for 10, and everyone was happy. b-line took on the very tough task that is my family! favorites at the table: BROWN SUGAR MAPLE BACON: duh. done perfectly. how could this not be delicious. EGG WHITE OMELETTE: OK. a nice healthy option. but lets face it, i stole the bacon, hashbrowns, and peanut butter french toast off of my sisters' plates. they call me 'garbage disposal' for a reason... GRAPEFRUIT BRULEE: burnt sugar and grapefruit? of course. yes please. PEANUT BUTTER FRENCH TOAST: definition of indulgent. a little sweet to have a whole meal of it, but was psyched to have a bite. a lovely place to take the fam when you're forced to be on international drive - the peabody is a respite from the masses of chain restaurants that crowd this crazy street. additionally, the live ducks in one of the lobbies are easy entertainment for the younguns' in the fam!

Another sweet retreat lands in my hands in Orlando. The tourist capital has some great finds if you know where to go. I was attending a conference on I-drive and decided to stop in for dessert at the Peabody hotel. It's a super nice hotel, which not only houses marching ducks but a French pastry chef who creates lovely edible delights. What's great is that he is responsible for the desserts at entire hotel so it doesn't matter where you go. I happen to visit the b-line diner and order the Aloha tart. It really stood out because of the choice of fruits used. There was papaya, pineapple, kiwi, and strawberries resting on Bavarian cream in a tart shell. And the shell was not the typical Graham cracker. This had more of sponge cake-like airiness and as a whole felt like a light bite. You may even be able to con someone into thinking it's a healthy breakfast. So I sat and watched the ducks and ate the tart. Aloha. weaknessforsweetness.tum…

I was staying at the Peabody Hotel with my hubby for a conference for an entire week and ended up eating a ton of meals here, breakfast lunch and dinner. :-p The food is actually really good. The lobster mac and cheese is heavenly and you will be glad you have a fridge in your room because it is massive and lasted me like 3 meals! The breakfast menu is pretty straight forward but also tasty, and they have a quick "takeout" counter attached for to go orders. Lastly but also important they have their own bakery with desserts that looked awesome. I wasn't able to try one but wish I could have. Service here is also always friendly and very quick.

I've never had a meal here, so I'm not sure about their entrees, but the B-line diner is a good place to come for dessert and after-dinner drinks. The sweet supply is large, and the cakes are pretty decadent. I usually swing for a cappuccino if I'm here.

While attending a conference in Orlando, Fl, we were looking for a close to the venue lunch locale, someone suggested the B-Line Diner @ the Peabody hotel. This was perfect! We were across the street at the Orange County Conv Center and needed a better option for lunch than what was offered - box lunches (ick!). The first thing we noticed was the huge display of deserts - so inviting and delicous looking. Then it hit you..for a diner it doesn't smell like a diner! Our server was pretty nice and check-in on us regularly. Half our group ordered breakfast and the rest of us had lunch. Everything looked and smelled so good on arrival! I ordered agrilled chicken breast sandwich that came highly regarded by the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere wasn't too noisy or crowded - even though we were there at the peak of the lunch rush. I'd highly recommend this place!

If you're staying at The Peabody, just suck it up and take a walk down I-Drive for a bite to eat. We watched our food sit under a heat lamp for over 15 minutes while our waitress was no where to be found. "Did anyone order the congealed cheeseburger and cold fries?"... Ummm yeah, thanks, but no thanks. On a positive note, we grabbed a slice of Key Lime Pie from their extensive desert counter and took it back to our room... Yummy! So unless you're completely desperate because it's 4 a.m. or your feet hurt so much from visiting the parks that you no longer have use of your legs, there are way too many other food options in Orlando, to settle on this place.

We stayed in The Peabody for three nights in April. We arrived late on Friday the 15th, hungry, so we headed for the diner. I didn't want anything too heavy so I ordered the panzanella salad. Husband ordered a reuben and fries. I asked for a glass of chardonnay, and really liked what was brought, keeping my fingers crossed that it wasn't going to be an arm and a leg, as wine prices weren't on the menu. I liked the wine. Enough that I ordered a second, again expecting to be hit in the $10 to $12 range, especially considering the high prices on the menu. It took awhile, but our meals eventually appeared. I was pleasantly surprised by the salad. Really liked it! I had never had a panzanella before and even though it's a bread salad and has a lot of bread, this one was full of fresh veggies and as I had wished was not heavy at all. Husband enjoyed his reuben and fries. The salad was around $9 and I think the sandwich was around $13. The best surprise was the wine turned out to be just $6 per glass. The next night we went back for just a little something-something. Shared sweet potato fries with a honey bbq dipping sauce, and two small desserts. Husband wanted ice cream and I opted for the cute duck cookie. Fries were really good. Cookie was adorable and good.. Husband enjoyed his ice cream. I learned this night though that there were indeed different wine level options available, and where the kind waitress on night one had brought the less expensive option, night two brought a waiter that tried hard to bring the more expensive, until I described what I had had before and explained the price point. To wrap it up, the B-Line Diner has decent options when you stay at The Peabody. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there if I wasn't, however.

Food was good and service was good, but for some reason, I just didn't feel all that dazzled by this place. I really enjoyed the steak salad and the grasshopper pie with the homemade mint ice cream. However, it just seemed overpriced and the type of place where if you stayed at the hotel or nearby, you would eventually have to pay a lot to eat there. Our server was pretty nice. He comped the grasshopper pie for my birthday, but then ended up printing a new receipt and adding it back in. We didnt like that very much. Oh well, at least the food was enjoyable!

This diner isn't worth a special trip, but if you're staying at the Peabody it's a good place for breakfast. I also had dessert here, and it was pretty tasty. Haven't had dinner or lunch. The service is fast, and the food is pretty good. The orange juice is delicious. Prices are steep, but that's to be expected for a hotel restaurant. For dessert, I highly recommend the polka dot cake.

If staying At the Peabody it is a great option as they have take out and 24/7 service. It is also the least expensive option there. Atmosphere is family diner style. They have the most fabulos pastry case, that you have to walk past to be seated. I had the hand cut rosemary chips that were really good perfect 2:00 am I have the munches type food, and chicken pot pie. Both I would recommend. The chips were perfect, and the rosemary made them. The pot pie was siimple and well done comfort food, would get it again in a heartbeat. For desert I had a whoopsie pie dipped in dark chocolate, another winner. Over great meal for the price.

We just returned from a week long stay at The Peabody. The Hotel was fabulous but the diner was......blahhhh. The first night we tried it for dinner and the waiter was so rude, I was shocked. My senior citizen mother met us for dinner and he was practically verbally attacking her and everything she asked for was unavailable....no decaf tea, no sourdough bread...come on. We tried it again for a late day snack on our third day there. The waitress was sweet and helpful and the Sweet Potato fries were quite possible the best i have had but the Hummus was definitely the worst I have ever had. I cant believe they even put that on the plate it so was bad. Bottom line...love the hotel but the B-Line Diner is more like the F-Line Diner.

My wife and I visited the B-Line Diner after seeing circque du soleil in downtown disney (which was awesome btw!) We got there around 11:00 and they gave us the late night menu, which seemed to have all the usual stuff on it. Overall this place was pretty good. The prices are very high, but it's obviously an upscale diner in an upscale hotel. We paid about $30 for a sandwich, a burger, and 1 iced tea. I had a reuben, which I really liked. It was a closed sandwich (as opposed to an open-faced sandwich) but it was well made. The bread was a hearty rye, and there was a good balance of corned beef, sauerkraut, and russian dressing. My wife, however, had the Texas burger, which was reeeally dry. The waiter didn't ask how she wanted it cooked, so it came very well done and dry. Also, it was on a whole wheat bun, which could have been ok, but it was very dry also. I tried to finish her burger after she gave up, but I couldn't do it. :) Even smothering it with BBQ sauce didn't help. Other than the burger, everything else about the place was good. The atmosphere was cool, and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive.

I wanted to be the first to review this place. Alas, I'm the third. I really like diners. This one is excellent. It's an upscale diner. I usually prefer the average, dingy diner, but this one was OK. I had a great milk shake (peanut butter). The reuben sandwich was pretty good, though they skimped on the dressing. My dining mates' food looked good also. The desserts looked amazing, but I passed. A few days later I went here for breakfast. I had the smoked salmon bagel. It was excellent. My fiance had some sort of Mexican skillet (scrambled eggs, Mexican sausage and salsa), which was also very good. The price is decent. It's not much more than the Village Inn, a nearby family restaurant that is very good, but not as fancy as the B-line. I definitely recommend this place.

This place gets 2 stars mainly for slow service and because well.. I've had a lot better for way less! Been there twice now. Had the turkey sandwich and the cheeseburger. The turkey sandwich was alright.. they grilled the turkey and their menu didn't say they would so I was expecting cold cut turkey. So is that why it took them so long to make a simple turkey sandwich? The cheeseburger was okay.. the fries were really boring. Had a shake which was pretty small.. asked them to make it half vanilla half chocolate. Didn't taste any vanilla. They also refused to put mayo on my sandwiches and both times brought me mayo on the side. For a hotel like this I expected way more from this restaurant and was let down. Their beer selection is horrible Typical crap american beers. Nothing exotic here. B-Line really is a B-List restaurant. Somewhere to go if you want greasy food and have time to kill. Update: I tried their all american breakfast and it was great. The service was also way better. I guess they are just slow late night?? 3 stars.

Undercooked burger. Too-salty seafood. Messy booth. Poor service. Almost sprinted out the door it was so bad.

Cute place and nice atmosphere....but the service wasn't good and the food was too expensive! It was so forgettable that I can't remember the entire experience. I got a nice turkey burger....hmmm....yep, other than the service and price that's about all I can conjure up about it. Oh...and the absurd amount of time it took to refill our glasses of water. "Just say no" kiddies!

We stayed in this hotel, and ordered breakfast here each morning. They are quite overpriced, a simple half a grapefruit being almost $5. When we ordered a vegetable omelete, there was meat in it. We complained and they replaced the omelete but it didn't seem that the cooks honoured their work. Overall the food itself was adequate, but for the price not too exciting.

This diner, tucked away in the back of the Peabody hotel, across the street from the Orlando convention hall was a great treat after a long morning manning our show booth. Great diner decor and excellent club and Reuben sandwiches. One day I sat at the counter and talked with one of the chefs and servers who had been there for 15 years. The next day I took the food out to the hotel lobby area to lounge among the rich and glamorous... if you count rich car dealers as glamorous.
