Thai Cuisine is a reliable Thai restaurant in a seedy area of Edgewater Drive. Business is brisk at lunch. I ordered a lunch special of mild Tom Yum Tofu soup, and a mild red curry chicken. Both were a little more like medium mild, but not painful. The soup was flavorful and loaded with tofu and vegetables and the chicken curry was satisfying. The portions were too large for a lunch special combination; and that was the A special, as opposed to the even larger B special. Based on the big lunch crowds I've seen here, it clearly has a following around Lee Road and Edgewater.

We won't be returning to eat here. Plainly stated, the food is sub-par. We had two different kinds of curry and both were equally poor. Having eaten curry in multiple Thai restaurants across the nation we have to say that this was the worst. The flavor was not of curry, more like a southwestern chili (I know how weird this sounds), and it was extremely salty and overall unpalatable. The service was good and the waiters were polite, no complaints there. The ambiance was a little off for a Thai place but seemed to fit the "depressed" area of town that this restaurant is located in. The last turn off for this place was their billing procedures. Two times they increased our bill without our knowledge. This means that the bill was brought to our table, we reviewed it, agreed, gave them our credit card and when the sales receipt came back it had increased. This was very irritating and seemed deceptive. When we talked to the manager about this she repeatedly told us that it was correct...this whole ordeal was confusing to say the least. We were quoted one price, surrendered our card and were charged otherwise. Hate to leave such a bad/long review but this place should be avoided based on the food alone.

I love this little place. A great overall value with good Thai. I first went here about 10 years ago and never thought it would be around for long since it was so far off the beaten path for a SE Asian restaurant. I guess there long run is a testament to their wonderful flavors! On our servers advice I tried some traditional Thai desserts and really enjoyed something that I otherwise would have never tried. Worth the trip!

I have been eating here for the last 2 years. The food is fantastic. It's the best Thai that I've found in Orlando. Ever since they redesigned the inside and got new plates, chairs, tables etc, the place has been packed at lunch so thery may be a wait getting in or getting out as you have to pay at the counter which often has a line when the initial rush is leaving.

Great Thai Food! But beware of the Thai Hot! I usually can take it but here they use some really hot peppers. So now I will just order hot, the Thai Hot burned so much I couldn't enjoy the wonderful food. The crab rolls here are a great appetizer, my girlfriend & I love them!!! If you're in the area and want some good Thai food I highly recommend Thai Cuisine.

Friendly service, beef salad was just right. Meat was warm & salad was cold which is unique because most Thai places have the whole meal cold because its not cooked on the spot. Panang curry was scrumptious only negative was rice portions are small.

Previously one of my favorite Thai places in Orlando, but the managing partner left last year to take over Thai Place (a couple miles away) and the food has gone downhill while the prices have gone up. Combine that with the dicey neighborhood where this place is located and the total lack of decor and there isn't much reason for us to eat here anymore.

Thai Cuisine is an awesome little place where the food is simple delicious. It's about 7 minutes from work, so I've been there quit a few time. If you go, you have to order the Fresh Spring Rolls, which are really really good, I mean these spring rolls are NOT fried but freshly handrolled, it comes with a sweet peanut sauce, it's really good. It's very nice place to have a casual lunch or dinner. Food is not expensive at all, the place is not luxury, but the food's quality is very high and authentic. The Pad see ew is one of my favorites.

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by this place. I read the reviews and it is close to my work. Reasonably priced and the pad thai was great! Spring rolls were also top notch! Most other Thai restaurants I have been to fry them and my mother had a Thai friend when I was growing up that used the rice paper as they do here at Thai Cuisine and I have always known them not to be fried. I am ecstatic that this place is only five minutes from work. I will become a regular! Thanks to all that reviewed before me and swayed my decision! I was not let down in any way! Great restaurant!

I've been to a number of Thai restaurant around Orlando, and this is one of my favorite Thai place to frequent. The food and service is always consistent and I never leave disappointed. I usually get the Tom Yum soup, which can be a bit fishy due to the amount of fish sauce used, chicken phad thai, and thai iced tea! Yummm! Usually when I repeat other restaurant and order the same thing, it's a toss up if they prepare it properly... But here, it's the same every time. It doesn't get any more authentic than this. I also recommend tilapia delight and papaya salad. Also, currently they have homemade thai tea ice cream, coconut ice cream and mango with sticky rice. Either options, a refreshing way to end the meal. Don't get the location and area(ghetto Edgewater) scare you away, because the food and service is definitely worth it.

I've had thai at a few different places and this one was definitely my favorite. I always get the pad thai when I go and I really enjoyed it. It tasted very fresh and had so much flavor to it! I also really enjoyed the cute carrot heart they put on top for Valentine's Day =) We had a very nice waitress - she was quick with the food and drink refills. The check out process took a bit of time because we split up the check but I probably wouldn't have noticed or cared as much if I hadn't been in a rush to get back to work. From the outside, it looks a little sketch but don't let that deter you! It definitely has some good eats. I'm looking forward to checking out what else is on the menu next time - I'm dying to try the crab rolls!

As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of Thai cuisine and an expert on its authentic preparation, I can definitely say I'm a fan of this place. Their Lad Nah is reminiscent of my visits to Thailand (although the chicken in mine was quite bland and reminiscent of bad Chinese restaurants). The sauce in Lad Nah is the key and theirs was on point. We also had the satay and gai-yung, which were delicious. The satay was the better of the two, with deep marinated flavor. As Thai Delight in Longwood is no longer, I am ecstatic to find a Thai destination that is comparable in quality and authenticity to that, with far friendlier service and atmosphere. Be sure to ask your server to have your dish made Thai-style for true authentic flavors!

The service is very quick and friendly. Got our food about 10 minutes after ordering. Our drinks were full the entire time. I've had better food but it was still good. Just needs more seasoning. A little plain.

After years of driving by this Thai restaurant, we finally tried it yesterday. Boy, have we been missing out on a great Thai restaurant! The place sits off the road and is easy to miss...but don't! The food was very good and reasonably priced. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted great. We really enjoyed it and will definitely return. The service was very attentive. One warning...if you order your food spiced "HOT"...it is VERY Hot! On many dishes you can choose the level of spiciness. I will choose a little less heat next time.

I went here last night with a friend of mine who has always had a fairly limited variety of food he would eat. He loved the place and could not get enough. They have fairly typical Thai fair but the flavors are great and we both enjoyed ourselves very much. We started with the Thai Cuisine Wings as an appetizer. They came out hot and well cooked with a flavorful, hot dipping sauce. Then I had the Thai Basil and he had the Red Curry. Both were great and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Also, the wait staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. All in all, a good experience with no complaints.

I have ordered takeout 3 times in the last 2 weeks, and have been trying to get a few different items. The Panang Curry is awesome with Chicken. I tend to order things very spicy, and like any good Thai place, they allow you to modify the spice level by 4 factors. Pad Thai was very tasty as well. The Tom Kai Gai was some of the best i've had, with a distinct citris flavor and lightly creamy coconut texture. The Peanut sauce is perfect with the Spring Rolls, and the Satay Chicken is also good. Best of all, the staff is extremely friendly and quick. I will be coming back to this place often!

Great, small, local restaurant. Authentic Thai food, not recipes tailored for an American palate. It has been there for at least 10 years, probably significantly more than that. One of the best thai restaurants i have been to, and it continually impresses. Favorite dishes: - Chickey Satay w/ peanut sauce - Pad Thai (chicken, beef, tofu) - Panang - Nam Sod w/ sticky rice - Pad Se Ew **NOTE** Whether it is due to different chefs, or whether it is due to the foods authenticity, the variance in heat/spiciness of the food can be surprising. Ordering mild is always safe, but medium - hot - thai hot can be a blur at times. I don't view this as a bad thing per se, but just something to be aware of.
