They have the BEST burger and hot dog in Orlando..the sauces and layers of flavor are like an explosion in my mouth.

Tasty spicy perros, beef Pinchos, crispy empanadas, and the Super Rico burger all lives up to the name....Super!

The best for Colombian burgers downtown. Be sure to try the cinnamon cheese empanadas, too.

I don't need to say much more than what's already written on here. Amazing. I had the burger I heard so much hype about. It was spectacular. I would definitely come back and I will.

Burgers are amazing! As are the yuca fries with cilantro sauce. Indoor seating is limited so get there early when it's hot.

I just had Super Rico tonight for the first time with one of my friends from school up north, and it was great. I had the Super Rico burger, which was huge but more than worth it in calories and taste. The arepas with guacamole are delicious, too. Will definitely come by my next time in town!

Awesome food. Would recommend to anyone who loves Columbian food. I had the Patacon y pollo and the yuca.

The food here is made with pride. You can get lost in the options they have. Best Colombian place in town for sure. Be sure to try one of their burgers. Sooo good! The location is really great too. It is right next to a good beer spot. I heard they may combine into one unit. We shall see. Highly recommend!

Best burger in town! I've sworn by Johnnys for years, but the super Rico burger takes the cake. Doesn't hurt it's next for to my favorite bar. Eat local!!! 5/5!

Originally I was going to buy a groupon for this location, but I thought I would get more bang for my buck at another place. So instead, two days ago my boss took us out to lunch so I suggested this place and everyone was happy I did. I ordered the colombian burger. The meat was juicy and very tasty. It came with no side, but honestly, you really didn't need it. It was plenty food and the potato strings on the burger, give it that crunch you're missing from french fries or chips. My co-workers both ordered the patacones, one with beef and one with chicken. These aren't you're common patacones. They are huge. It kind of reminded me of the Mexican sopes. Very similar to that, but with a more island twist. Our entrees were delicious. We also ordered an appetizer--- the guacamole with arepa chips. I was a little disappointed with this. The guacamole was a little tasteless. It lacked maybe a little salt and pepper. I'm not sure. It literally tasted like nothing. The arepa chips were somewhat hard.. now before, I get my head bitten off by someone about this comment, I know that arepa are typically hard, but these were a little too hard to the point that it scraped the roof of my mouth. All in all, it was a great experience and I would totally go back to sample some of their other dishes. Oh, on another note, the service was exceptional. Steven was who helped us out and he was so kind and friendly. Very good energy from the moment you walk in and that's always a plus in my book!

The name is a little misleading and actually kept me from wanting to check it out. Mostly you will find burgers, hot dogs and chicken. The sandwiches are good sized. Usually I'm a fan of Yuca fries, but these seemed over battered. I would recommend sticking with the regular fries. The place is small so you will probably want to get it to go. It was busy when we went at lunch but the wait time wasn't too bad. Also City employees get a discount, which is a nice perk. Sodas are given in can form so no free refills. This place is worth trying.

I love this place! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Tip : You can order the food to go and eat at the picnic table at the bar next door (as long as you order a beer, of course!)

Stumbled on this place while paying a parking ticket (stay in the lines) and was pleasantly surprised. While we sat outside at the Tap and Grind, enjoying beer, our food was brought to our table. We had the beef kebob (Pinchos) and the plantain pizza (Patacones) and a cheese empanada (Deep-Fried Cheese Pierogi.) Everything was excellent. The beef was high quality, grass fed. Service was great and super friendly. If I lived in Orlando, I would be a regular no doubt. Ideal for lunch, an afternoon snack, or late night supper. Pair with an IPA.

This a nice change of pace from the usual lunch places downtown. It's a small little place right next to Tap and Grind. The food is really good but based on the couple times I've eaten here the portion sizes have gotten smaller. Nice place to switch up your usual spots - the Patacones and the burgers are what I've tried, all quite good.

Amazing service , best guacamole and enpanadas in the usa. And yes I'm colombian I know jeje

So I went to Super Rico for the first time yesterday during my lunch break and I will definitely be going back. If you work in the downtown area, you should definitely try this place. I happen to be a fan of Colombian burgers so my expectations were high. They have a menu that is filled with so many different options and the food is made to order. I ordered the Super Rico and it was delicious. I also fell in love with yuca fries (they are amazing with the cilantro sauce). To add on to the experience, the customer service was just as good as their food. They were very friendly with their service. The only downfall is the small space, but other than that, you must try it out!

I have previously been here and the food is good. I had the chicken patacon & empanada. The last time I came here I came for just a cup of coffee .... I wasn't sure if they had any but I thought I would ask. The cashier looked at me & was about to say no, but someone else said yes.... I think I was the first person to request a coffee because it took them forever to make 1/2 a cup of coffee and they didn't even have lids.

Excellent food, great staff (Steven is awesome). I'm not an 'expert' on authentic Columbian fare, but everything I've had on the menu is actually very fresh & tasty. Extra marks for vegetarian options and some of the best (& chunkiest) guacamole you'll ever have. Great job guys! Stop by and support local business.
(5)
Feras Z.
Possibly the best Colombian you'll have in Orlando. I've had the Perros and a steak Patacones. It was absolutely delicious. The service was very kind as they explained the menu and process in detail once they knew it was my first time there. My only complaint is I wish the portion sizes were bigger or at least include sides with the items we ordered. I definitely recommend this place as the quality of food is amazing. I will certainly be back.

Amazing! Had the Spicy Perro and Empanadas and they were great! Definitely coming back.

Mayra A.
We would come to this place even though we found it pricey because its by our job and the food is good, all I ever order was patacones, it came with 2 giant tostones, however, yesterday when we ordered n got back to our office, theres was only one, and we paid the same price, when we called they claimed the platanos were out of season, which they are not. So they proceeded in bringing up a plain toston with nothing on it. They just lost a few clients with us.

Delighted to find this little gem. I am always looking for new, yummy quick places to grab lunch and fortunately for me they just started serving lunch. They started off by catering to the late night bar crowd and this girl is excited they now serve lunch as I am often asleep by 9. This is a small location but they have big flavor. I had a beef (grass-fed steak tips) arepita and it was delicious. The guac with arepa chips was perfect! My boss had chicken skewers (pinchos) and he is excited to find a place that offers something besides a standard sandwich. He was extremely pleased with his meal. The staff was friendly and the place was spotless! The youthful owner even spent a few moments to speak to us about his establishment. There are some tables out front that belong to the bar next door, Tap & Grind but it looks like people are free to enjoy their midday lunch there. Prices are right on. Go support this local business, you will not be disappointed.

There is a time when a need is identified, and business comes along to fill the void. Therein lies one of the keys to success. This is the story of Super Rico Colombian Bistro. They have very aptly chosen a menu that has true Colombian roots, yet it is easy to understand, and you don't have to be "adventurous" to try the items in the menu. Authentic and easy to understand, ordering is a breeze. Plenty of vegetarian options, it is always good to find a place that commits to a diverse menu and ensures there are quality items across the board. It is a pleasure to come to this place and get good friendly service. Super Rico is a great staple in the downtown Orlando scene, and for those of us who enjoy this place regularly, it is pretty darn cool.

When we found out that their food truck would be a brick and mortar restaurant, I was overjoyed. I was always sad that I would have to hunt for their food truck and then we found out they had opened the restaurant. Being from Colombia, salchipapas are something of a treat for me. The salchipapas at Super Rico are SO satisfying. Super Rico does not disappoint with the authenticity of food from home. I gladly make the trip downtown to eat here whenever I get the chance!

Stopped into this lively little eatery after the July 4th traffic died down. It's a clean and spare space, with fresh Latinesque beats energizing the atmosphere. I was immediately greeted by Steven, the General Manager. He was gracious in taking time to answer my questions regarding the menu, leading me to order the Arepa Burger. The burger is savory and an ample serving; arepas - basically dense corn cakes, served as the bun. There are three sauces Super Rico slathers the burgers in: a pineapple sauce, cilantro sauce, and rosada sauce (a mix of ketchup, mayo, lime & spices). All three sauces intermingle, providing an herbaceous, sweet tang with a hint of unctuousness from the mayo. They play together subtly, and make the burgers here unique! Steven deserves great kudos for his service-oriented and friendly style. I would come to the restaurant for this alone! He even took some time to point out likely highlights in the downtown night life for me - he even wrote down his suggestions on a short list! I highly recommend Super Rico, a casual, clean & cool place to fill up and experience both great service and yummy Colombian comfort food.

What can I say... I star them like I see them and this place is 5 stars for their delicious food at a decent price. I got the super Rico burger and it came with all the toppings of a regular burger (lettuce tomato, etc) and bacon bits and a friend egg! I also got the yuca fries to go with it and they give you a nice amount I couldn't even finish mines. The green sauce that came with it was delicious. The place itself is in the outside corner of a parking garage so it is small but they have inside and outdoor sitting. I will definitely be back for their salchipapas!

Ok so we finally had a meal here instead of just appetizers and it was tasty! The BF had the famous Super Rico burger and LOVED it. He said the sauces made it amazing. The fries on the side were normal, nothing special. I ordered the Arepica with veggies. It was good, I think not exactly what I was in the mood for. There was nothing wrong with it, it just didn't hit the spot like I hoped. I completely believe this was my tastebuds and not the food itself. We also got the yuca fries again the arepa de choclo. Both were so good! Overall I love this little spot. I think I'll order a different entree next time - maybe the portobello burger.

So earlier yesterday I was reading about Tap & Grind and when I walked past it I noticed this little colombian place. I tried it later in the day since I rarely find colombian food, and I was not disappointed. We ordered a salchipapa (fries and hot dogs with sauce and cheese), and some empanadas, and it all was great! I was born and raised in Peru, so salchipapa is one of my favorite street foods, and I have to say colombians make it better. The place is tiny, and you could easily miss it, but it's worth a try. I'm glad to see they're open until 3am on the weekends, this would be perfect for a late night bite.

Sober or intoxicated this place is awesome! It's a small place, but take a seat outside enjoy the view of downtown or just the people walking by. The food is flavorful and very delicious! The wait for the food is just a little bit of wait, but so worth it! Get the salchipapas! If you love fries and hotdogs well you my friend have just scored the perfect combo! The sauces that they drizzle on top of it, is perfect! I forgot what they were called, but ask for extra sauce! ;) The arepa burger is also another goodie! Instead of bread, they use corn cake instead and gosh. Party in your mouth! I already love arepas to begin with, so having this was just an extra bonus. Arepa de Choclo - simple and yet so good! the perfect grill on the corn cake and cheese right in between, hints of sweetness, YAAS! Empanada's here also another goodie! perfectly friend and stuffed. Definitely dip it with the sauce they serve it with! This place overall is great to grab a bite and enjoy and well maybe sober up a bit too ;)

For late night grub, you can't go wrong with a Colombian burger: juicy patties slathered with various sauces and potato chips. The staff is friendly and helpful, quick to answer any questions you many have about the menu. The seating area is tight, but the restaurant is usually not terribly busy.

Holy moley! This place is darn good delicious! We stopped by on our way home on a whim because we honestly did not want to go to a chain restaurant and this place is a def must go to in orlando! They have pinchos which were basically meat skewers and they gave me choice of French fries or yucca fries. I got the yucca fries and they were so crispy and well seasoned and for the first time ever having yucca fries I was not disappointed! I also ended up getting beef and chicken empanadas which were extremely flavorful and meaty and just an all around good deal because you can get them 3 for $4! Their arepas de choclo are cheese filled arepas which I won't lie I ate it too! And their arepica was an arepa topped with meat cheese and salsa. This place is so hard to describe how good it is. I will say this, don't get off put by the restaurant when you walk in, it's literally like a whole in the wall that's attached to a parking garage! Very small and they have small amounts of dining space inside but they do have patio seating as well. They also Only offer can sodas at $1.50 a piece but this small place is def worth supporting! I will def be going back!!
Awesome food and service. On vacation with the kids and they really enjoyed it. The food was was perfect...next time I'm in Orlando, FL I'll stop by. I had the super pollo, my daughter had the pinchos/beef and my son had the hot dog. Sounds like typical fast food but not typical at all...seems they care about the food that they are cooking & serving

I can't believe I haven't eaten here before...it's everything I want in a meal. Fast, cheap, French fries, delicious, flavorful, everything. We got the salchipapas (s/p?) which are cut up hot dogs with cheese on French fries with their delicious sauces and an arepa burger which is a burger with arepas (white corn I think) as the bun also doused in their delicious sauces. It was the best street food I have ever had! It's probably the only time I have eaten and burger and fries without ketchup and the only time I would enjoy that because their house-made Colombian sauces are to die for. Additionally the staff are amazing, everyone seemed so happy to be there and serve us and walked me through all the sauces and which were good with what food, just a wonderful experience, it made me feel happy to support a local business like that. One down side, it's tough to find seating, the place is TINY, they can seat about 10 inside, maybe 12 if you pack it and the place was PACKED when we got their. But hey, $13 for all that wonderful food and I'll gladly take it to go. I will be back as soon as I can, in the meantime you should go try it out.

This used to be a food truck. A delicious, delicious food truck. It has upped it's game and opened a small location attached to the Parking Garage / Tap & Grind on Central in the heart of downtown. When you pass by it, it's nothing amazing from the curb but walk inside and it's surprisingly delightful. Some seats inside and out, take-out available and if you are drinking next door, there is a back door so you can walk over and order and they will deliver it to you. Love that. Super easy. My most recent visit I went for the Pinchos: Two skewers with peppers and onions grilled to perfection and served on a bed of fries. I went for the Beef - $8.00. The beef was seasoned great but a little well done to my liking. I paired it up with the Cilantro sauce, OH. MY. LAWD. (Beware, it's highly addicting) - it combines the flavors of cilantro, garlic, lime juice, and spices. Perfection for really anything to dip in. I was blown away by the flavors and how it added to this specific meal choice. I also went with an Arepica - white corn cake topped with hogao sauce, jalapeno relish (opted to not get this) grilled vegetables, and queso blanco (Chicken- $5.00). It was my favorite. So delicious, cooked perfectly and the chicken was a great pair for this. I ate it like a taco basically so it was a little messy but worth it. This is street food taken up a notch and pairs perfectly while you are relaxing and quenching your thirst next door. Stop in next time you want some freshly made, tasty food.

This place is a gold mine for delicious sauces! The cilantro sauce is my favorite. I don't even know what all was on my burger, but it was perfect--juicy, well-flavored, spectacular. The salchipapas were also a new treat. I had never heard of them, and the idea of hot dog pieces on fries was a little stomach churning, but the flavors (and sauces) worked really well to make a hearty, delicious treat.
(5)
Alex M.
Great lunch spot! The good people here don't make you choose between a burger or an arepa, offering up an "arepa burger" that stacks a patty in between two arepas with all the usual fixings. It was so delicious. Fair warning though, don't expect those arepas to act as traditional buns. This could get messy. Overall a great spot to sit and have some good eats while enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown.

Food was amazing, well priced, service was awesome, and the restaurant itself was quaint and clean. I haven't stopped talking about this place since we left Tuesday. Lots of veggie and vegan options on the menu, which is a plus! Park across the street in the pay lot-- makes the trip that much sweeter:)

I stumbled into this place for the first time while enjoying a few beers at the bar next door (Tap and Grind) - and boy was I happy that I did. Unique Columbian inspired flavors and dishes, served in a "street fare" style approach. The Salchipapa is a great late night plate (french fries covered in various sauces and chorizo sausage). The Rico Burger is also a great option. My personal favorite, however, is the Chicken Skewers. All these dishes are inexpensive, so I usually end up trying a few items. If you're a fan of Columbian food I definitely recommend this place. If you're not sure, or have never had Columbian, it's definitely worth giving it a try!

The Super Rico Burger and their Spicy Perro was DELICIOUS!! Great customer service and super clean spot! I'm from LA but will for sure come again if I'm ever in Orlando! Thanks guys!!

Yelp is the reason I found out about this great little spot. I kept seeing friends check in and, of course, it sparked my interest so I bookmarked. When my husband met me for lunch recently I suggested we check this place out since it's a few blocks up from where I work. It's located on Central underneath a parking garage! Don't let that scare you off because the place is really cute and employees super friendly! We came on a rainy day after the lunch rush so we had the place to ourself. There are about 3 tables inside and plenty outside. I ordered the chicken pinchos (skewers of chicken and veggies) over a bed of yuca fries(extra $ for yuca). My husband went with the Super Rico burger which is topped with crumbled bacon and a fried egg. If you show them that you have "liked" them on FB, you can opt for either a free drink or empanada. You also pay at the counter and then they will bring the food out to you. My husband enjoyed his burger and his only comment was that it was very messy. so messy = GOOD! I enjoyed my chicken pinchos(tender and flavorful pieces of chicken) but especially those yuca fries! The cilantro dipping sauce was insanely good. The food is rather rich and filling so I had leftovers. I am definitely up for going back and want to try one of their arepicas with chicken! I also love that you can pick your protein since not everyone eats red meat (prices vary ) and that they can make select dishes vegan/vegetarian. I really love that this place is a little hidden and off the beaten path but I am sure that when word spreads this place will really be hoppin'!

What a gem! The food here is so fresh and flavorful. My husband ordered the Super Rico Burger and it was juicy, fresh, made to order, and FAST! I ordered the Salchipapa- WOW! Perfect late-night food for foodies. So many different flavors. The sauce on the Salchipapa will definitely bring me back to this place. Prices were very decent too.

So maybe I am biased, but damn I love good street food! This place was a food truck before it was a little restaurant. I am thrilled that they have a place of their own now. The restaurant is at the bottom of a parking garage and super tiny with a few inside and outside tables. I had the Super Rico burger from their food truck and it was so different from what I am used to, so many flavors! The burger had a fried egg, potato sticks, jalapeño relish, cilantro sauce, pineapple sauce, cheese, and more. It was pretty amazing. If you don't want meat then you can get the same burger made with a grilled portobello mushroom, it's still delicious. I've tried lots of food items here, the spicy perro is another favorite, it's a hotdog topped with crumbled bacon, cheese, and the outstanding jalapeño relish. The yucca fries are nice and they seem lighter than traditional french fries. Get the cilantro sauce for the yucca fries, that's just a great combo. The empanadas are very good, small but filling. The beef pinchos (skewers) are hearty for when you really want some meat and potatoes. Check this place out if you get a chance. The food is a bit rich in flavor and quite filling, so a little will fill you up.

Delicious and cheap! We had a huge meal for less than 20 bucks between the two of us. First, the guac is amazing--so fresh and worth the extra buck for arepa points instead of chips. We also split a veggie Patacon and a veggie Arepica. They sounded pretty small on the menu but they were very filling even without meat. Finally, we had the best cheese/guava empanada I've ever had. They have some indoor and outdoor seating but the place is definitely tiny. Probably good for takeout if you have a large group. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
(5)

Probably the best in late night food downtown. Right next to tap and grind you can get your food from here and eat it while enjoying a very nice craft beer next door.

Absolutely delicious! The Super Rico Burger is to die for! The meat is juicy, the egg is cooked to perfection, the bacon is crispy and that cilantro sauce is just wow! The place is small but cozy, the service is amazing. We went on a Saturday night and of course is was busy but worth the wait. This is definitely one of my favorite places in Orlando now, once again Thank you Yelp!

One of the best places to eat downtown. Always a good idea to grab dinner here before heading into the chaos of downtown Orlando nightlife. Quality of food is always amazing and the yuca fries are life changing. I always get the beef pinchos and my partner loves the super Rico burger.

My husband and I paid a visit yesterday after deciding we wanted try something new. I first learned about this place on Groupon but didn't pick up the deal, but that name (I love that it rhymes) stayed in my head-I guess a little Groupception thing happened, like it usually does, I see a name on Groupon and immediately head to Yelp to check it out. Anyway, we had trouble finding parking even though the weather wasn't the best. It's on W. Central right across the fire station and just before the train tracks. So we decided to put our big kid pants on and park in the garage attached. I think it came out to $2 bucks and we were there for maybe an hour or so. I'm not sure if they validate parking. It's pretty small inside with maybe three high top tables, but you can also sit outside. Service is really friendly, anyone that came to our table was super nice. You go to the counter, they give you a menu, you sit down, look at it and YOUR LIFE CHANGES FOREVER...or maybe you just try some really good Colombian inspired dishes. My husband had the Super Rico burger which is topped with a big fried egg and bacon. It should really be called "oh mi corazón" or "oh mi heart" when you remember, yeah I have one of those while bookmarking it on Yelp as "Places to visit again". Anyway, he loved it and from the one bite I had, I did too. It was perfectly gooey and tasty. I had the Arepa Burger which is sandwiched between two white corn flakes instead of traditional burger bun. It was good, but not as good as the Super Rico burger. I think my main issue was that it was a little difficult to eat since I was expecting softer corn cakes and not the harder/crunchier variety. These were sliding around on the meat every time I took a bite. Imagine meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, shoestring potatoes, and sauce wedged between two thin hockey pucks-fun to watch, not so fun to eat. It was still good. Hopefully, they change the consistency to the softer arepa. We also shared Yuca fries that came with really yummy cilantro sauce. These were amazing and I think my favorite out of anything on the table. The fries were so buttery smooth it would make Paula Deen weep. I also needed to try the empanadas. They were good, not perfect, but good. Last, (Yes, we had almost everything on the menu) we tried the guacamole with chips. It was definitely good guac. Although they didn't give enough chips for the amount of guacamole we had (it was a pretty big, chunky portion size) and maybe a handful of chips (not bag size like Chipotle, basket size like Tijuana Flats/Moes, or laundry bin size at a Mexican restaurant). That was a lot of food and we took most of it home. Nothing is over $8 and for all that food we only paid about $30 which isn't bad. Overall, we really like it, next time I think we'll just stick with the Super Rico (which will fill you on it's own) and those amazing Yuca fries. Note: I'm Colombian and my mom is a chef so I'm pretty familiar with the cuisine-this is a fusion between American and Colombian so don't go expecting rice and beans or the meals your mom makes at home. This is meant for work/lunch/late night crowds looking for something good, different, filling, and easy to eat.

So far I've had the arepa burger and the beef, chicken and guava empanadas and they were all amazing. The guava empanada was my favorite

You can't go wrong with a Colombian restaurant in a parking garage... right? When my friend suggested Super Rico, I was interested to see if this place was any good. I am slightly accustomed to Colombian food as one of my dearest friends and one-time roommate was Colombian so I had high expectations. First, the staff were awesome- personable, attentive, and knowledgable. I decided on the Super Rico Burger and it did not disappoint. I have no clue what sauces they put on that burger but it WORKS! I wanted to (and indeed did) each every bite. Second, I love that they has Postabon! It's an apple flavor soda that is truly a treat and hard to find. Overall, this was great lunch stop. If you are planning to head their for lunch consider sharing because you WILL get full!

Great food and great prices. Yuca fries and the burger with the egg were both very good! Egg is cooked well. Try the sauces on the side, all of them are tasty. Indoor seating area is very small but they have extra tables outside.

Small little bistro located across the street from the fire station, this place is truly a gem, opens early for anyone wanting to eat breakfast or lunch and open very late if your out at night enjoying downtown Orlando. Besides this it offers a outside dining area which is a nice change in ambiance. But what truly makes this place special is the food, I went with the super Rico burger and the yuca fries for lunch and I could not stop thinking about the food for the entire day, the food is succulent, juicy, fresh, the flavors are a harmony of perfect Latin flavors. Viva Colombia!

Muy delicioso! I really enjoyed the cheese and guava empanada. We were a party of 5 and we were all impressed with our meals. The lulo juice was also a new delicious surprise. The guys who work were also super friendly and helpful. Great place!

Craving an arepa so I found this place on my handy dandy Yelp app which is a 10 minute walk from my job. Very nice staff and was describing their top selling items. I settled for the arepica with chicken. So good! A tad messy but worth it, I will go again and try their perros and then starve myself for eating something that gluttonous. If you are on a tight lunch break, call ahead

The food was absolutely amazing!! Very cozy atmosphere. And the all of the employees (owners?) were so nice & helpful. We had the chicken patacón and a super rico burger. Tried the empanadas and wanted more. So tempted to go order something else because it was all so good. We will be back!!

Located on Central Blvd right next to Tap & Grind, across from the Fire Station. You can park in the parking garage that is right next door, or the city owned lot with pay station 1/2 a block a way. It's a tasty place with fun food, good prices and friendly staff. If you are enjoying craft beers at Tap & Grind, they will deliver to you, which is very nice. On my visits I enjoyed the arepas (no bacon) with white cheese, the empanadas with cheese or cheese & guava,(the jalapeno cilantro relish is great with both.), the shrimp ceviche in plantain cups (World Cup special) and the portabella on arepa. (Instead of a burger). Prices were great, service was awesome and food tasted good going down. However, my tummy just doesn't like something in here, so I'll be holding off in the future. (FYI, to non meat eaters & Veggies.)

Wholly sh** is all I can say. I purchased a groupon deal for super Rico. By looking at the website I thought it was a sit down restaurant but it's not. There are only 4 seats but to be honest who cares if they have seats or not. This place is amazing !!!! I had the Arepica with steak as recommended by the cashier. I was amazed. I don't even have words. My boyfriend had the super Rico burger with a fried egg and crumbled bacon. He was amazed as well since it was our frost time trying Columbian food. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I can't wait to go back. That's all my boyfriend talks about is the Arepica. Ps. It's open till 3.

I was looking a something other than our cafeteria food and found them on Yelp. I was not in the mood for burgers but their menu has some really good vegetarian options that will satisfy any meat lover. With just 10 mins walk from work, I had to try it and will come back again for sure. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Landed in Orlando and this was the first restaurant my gf and I stopped by for lunch. As these ratings indicate, food was excellent! I got spicy burger that had fried egg and bacon bits on top and my gf got arenepia with chicken which was super delicious. We got yucca fries, which were crispy and cooked to perfection. It comes with dipping sauce that is creamy and just melts in your mouth. Food is more on the greasy side so definitely not good if you are on a diet but very tasty and awesome value!

Great cheap eats place in downtown Orlando. I loved my cheese aerepas. My only complaint is that it was a little difficult to find and I had wished there were more tables, yet understand it is a tiny place and I'm challenged when it comes to navigating directions. We were there at an off-time of day and there were people on line and eating. It's great for takeout I'm sure! You can tell the employees care about the customers and next time we're in town, we'll be sure to stop by again!

My girlfriend and I were visiting Orlando this last weekend, and a friend gave us some suggestions on what to eat in town. While she was reading reviews, she mistakenly pulled up reviews for Super Rico Colombian Bistro. Turns out, that was a fantastic mistake. She read about the Super Rico, a burger with a fried egg, bacon, cheese, and this spectacular green sauce. She got the Chicken Pinchos, which had the most tender and juicy chicken on a kabob I have had. The best part for me, was the yucca fries. As someone who is gluten intolerant, it's difficult to find a place where most of the menu is easy to pick from. Since I got the Super Rico without bread, and noticed that none of their fried items had flour in it, I took a chance on the yucca fries. Best decision ever. They were crispy and incredibly tasty. I am going to be on the look out for a yucca fry place here in Houston, I am hooked. I would try the Colombiana if you're looking to try a different soft drink, it reminds me of Big Red, with a little less bite. Very good! On top of everything else, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Orlando, or anyone who is around town and has not yet visited this fantastic eatery.

Went here last week using the Groupon they have out and it was pretty good. Very convenient spot downtown and the service was relatively quick. They have an interesting array of menu items and you get a lot for your dollar. I ordered the Patacones, Yuca Fries and Arepa de Choclo. Everything was pretty good...the Arepa de Choclo was my favorite by far...I would definitely go back there just to order that. The only thing I didn't care for was the baby size cup of water they give you. 3 sips and it's empty. You have to constantly get up and ask them to refill it. I don't think it would be a bad idea to invest in a larger size water cup. Ijs! But otherwise I'll be back I'll just bring a water bottle with me.

Super Rico's is the best!! I always get an arepa burger or guac with arepa points and empanadas.

This place, tucked away in the cut near a parking garage just of the beaten path downtown is this gem. I'm told this used to be a food truck and I can see why they were successful enough to open their own spot. Ate here a few months ago after some dt fun with my gf at Wall Street (run fest I believe it was) and geez am I glad we did. She got the famous burger as she is a huge guacaholic and a I something called a salchipappa(sp?) which was a special that consisted of chicken mixed in with fries and a delicious rich sauce, Yum! The prices reasonable, the portions big and the food good and hearty. Yuca fries were the bomb too!

I don't know what it is about me and places inside parking garages, but I seem to love them. Bukowski's in Boston, this place in Orlando. It's hard to go wrong here and the staff rocks. I forget the names of what I've had but just ask the workers what they would order and they will happily explain anything on the menu. They don't make you feel like the gringo you are.

Work downtown Orlando, have pretty much eaten at every food spot you can think of. So I went to Yelp for Help. Looking for authentic Spanish food, found this Columbian spot right on W. Central Blvd. . It was delicious. The price was right for lunch, and you tell the staff is definitely eager to please. Will definitely go there again, this time I'm bringing friends. .

I had some 4 hours to spend downtown before I left for the airport so I decided to wander and snack trying new dishes. I stumbled upon this corner spot and immediately had to try it. I ordered the chicken arepica dish. Was definitely out of my ordinary and I'm thankful for that. With chicken cheese jalapeño salsa and some good seasoning it was the right amount for the right price. 5$ and left me with a smile. Help was awesome, the workers and diners were all smiles. Recommended. I'll post a picture of the dish.

We are visiting Orlando and needed a good place to eat. Pulled up Yelp and Super Rico had all in agreement, which is a difficult task. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the super friendly staff who asked if we had ever been there before. Once they knew we hadn't, they asked if they could walk us through the menu. They did and it helped my youngest to my oldest know exactly what they wanted. For example my one son ordered a portobello burger and they let him know it doesn't have meet, which I thought he knew, he didn't. They said do you like mushrooms we can add those and all was settled. I wish I could remember the name of the dish I ordered, but it was deliciously tender beef on a skewer with ridiculous dipping sauces. Want to go back for more! The Manager or Owner gave me some extra dipping sauces for free which was super cool. All in all this place was really clean, comfortable and had great food combined with even better service!

Had the Super rico burger, their #1 seller and it was pretty good loved the pineapple they had on it made it very good to me. The yuca fries are also a hit they fill you up fast though! Beware of the addicting green cilantro sauce it's awesome lol. Can't wait to return to try the super rico pollo burger.

As one of my friends put it, "Out of all the Colombian fastfood joints I've been to, this is the best one. Everything tastes fresh and authentic". I would have to agree. Although I'm still waiting for a place to offer the Arepa stuffed with Chorizo from Los Perros in South Florida, the menu items here won't disappoint you. I had the Arepica with the beef toppings and it was rather satisfying. The Arepica was more on the crunchy side so that you could hold it up and bite onto it like a small personal pizza. I also had their beef empanada, which, was not bad. I have yet to have an empanada that could top a homemade one from the mom of one of my Colombian friends. The ingredients seemed fresh as well. The veggies were crisp and the grade of beef was up to par. This was my first visit here and I do believe I'll be returning to try that Arepa burger. Staff here is very friendly and feel free to grab a paper menu on the front counter. The arepica was not on the board on the wall so check that out and ask questions!

Many people never make it out this far when stumbling downtown, and it is there loss. This place is a great Colombian restaurant that plays to the downtown crowd. Get one of their burgers, an arepa, or an amazing hot dog. Once you are all full, head next door to the tap and grind for some amazing tap beer.

A hole in the wall type of place and it's share by one of Orlando's top 5 craft beer places, you can order food go next door order a fantastic craft beer and enjoy. The food is not bad, your basic Colombian food. enpanada, patacon, (plantain with ck or beef) hamburger, ck or beef skewers, sodas, sauces. Is a basic menu with a great flavor, the price is right, staff is very friendly and helpful, for a night out and you had a few drinks and you get that craving we all know so well "right!!!! OK so maybe is just me, I eat right all week, go to the gym, drink H20, all week, I go out on the weekend and by 10 pm I get that craving, this is the place to go. Enjoy everyone. By the way, you can order food and seat at tap and grind (the craft beer place) and they will bring your order there. They are the perfect symbiotic relationship.

Go here for the yuca fries (omg so good!!), beef empanada (made with corn dough and they are my favorite!) and the arepa cheese burger (1/3 pound grass fed beef patty)! I also recommend asking for a side of the pineapple sauce topping. Excellent service and located right next door to my favorite craft beer bar downtown, tap and grind! This place is a winner.

Overall I thought this place was pretty good. But growing up eating this type of food, I know what it's supposed to taste like. The food looked delicious but honestly it lacked the flavor to bring it over the top. It was a bit bland from what I was expecting. My girlfriend's chicken pincho was cooked to perfection but lacked seasoning, the same goes for my burger. My Arepa de Choclo was supposed to have sweeter corn with saltier cheese. On a lighter note, the yuca fries were absolutely delicious and I was impressed with their sauces and they had a really nice staff.

Update: Since my first, three star review, I have returned a couple more times. The folks at Super Rico have listened to my, and others, suggestions and have increased portion sizes, so I wanted to give them another chance. I am very happy to say that the changes that they have made to the menu will make me a returning customer. The first time that I came here after their menu change, I ordered the chicken pinchos again. The cost was still the same but the portion size of the pinchos was a bit bigger, and they gave a lot more fries as well. The taste was still excellent, and in the end I was significantly more satisfied than the first time. The second time however, is why I will keep coming back. Super Rico has introduced a new item to their menu: a chicken sandwich. But not just a regular chicken sandwich; this one comes with tomatoes, lettuce, potato sticks, and their delicious cilantro sauce. All of this on top of a bed of fries and you've got an excellent dish, all for about eight bucks. The taste is just as good as you would expect and it is the only thing I have gotten since. Kudos to Super Rico for listening to its customers. You've turned an unsatisfied customer into a repeat one.

This is a great lunch spot in downtown Orlando. The food has tremendous flavor and has never disappointed, even after 5+ visits. The arepacitas, empanadas, and skewers are all excellent. The portions are just the right size so that you don't leave hungry, but you're also not stuffed. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is great with the Latin music. Be careful around lunch hour though, this is a very small space and seats can fill up very quickly inside (about 4 tables). Overall, one of my favorite spots to eat in downtown.

We had the Super Rico burger with yuca fries and crinkle cut fries (not a huge fan of the crinkle cut). Yuca came with an awesome sauce. Also got an arepa de choclo, not huge on flavor, but I've never had it before so maybe that's just how it's supposed to be. Columbiana and Manzana sodas might have been the best part of the meal (besides the burger of course!)

Had a couple of hours to kill in Orlando around dinner time, and I wanted a place with wi-fi. This place had wonderful food, quick, efficient and polite service - and excellent wi-fi. I went here in the very beginning of January, and I don't exactly remember what I ordered besides their signature burger, but it was all really good! I would recommend this place to others! Informal and cozy atmosphere, also good for take-out.

The only thing that outweighs the awesomeness of this place is my profound sadness at not having known about it earlier. The food is absolutely delicious, the prices are pretty cheap, and the location is very convenient. I went here a few weeks ago with a couple of my brothers from other mothers. And fathers. Look, it's complicated. Anyways, we went for lunch and I got the beef pinchos. For those of you unfamiliar with Colombian cuisine (like I am), the pinchos are like kabobs. It was all cooked just right and the seasoning was very tasty. My friends got burgers, which likewise looked great. They also have a selection of Colombian sodas to drink, though I did not try one.The service will take longer than a fast food joint, but it's still pretty quick and if you go during lunch there's plenty of seating available by using tap & grind's outdoor seating. You can really tell that the folks here take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the food and the service. Did I mention that they're right next to tap & grind? Of course I did, I can read--but I wanted to emphasize this point again. tap & grind is an awesome place that you should also go to, and it highlights another great thing about Super Rico. On weekend nights (Friday & Saturday) they're open past closing time at the bars downtown, until 3 AM. That means you can get this deliciousness when chilling at t&g, or after your night of dancing/partying. I tried to get my friends to go here one night after dancing, but instead they opted for Beth's Burger Bar. Amateurs. Gringo's and Beth's Burger Bar are great places, but a little too greasy for my tastes, even after alcohol. Just remember, when you go downtown on the weekend, you may make many decisions you regret, but Super Rico will not be one of them. Are you still reading this? My final evidence for this place's greatness is that I'm trying to get my friends to go here for lunch now, and I don't even live in Orlando any more. Lastly, there's a Groupon going on for this place, so you have no excuse. Go! Now!

one word: AMAZING! This was by far the best food I have eaten in months. We started off with the guacamole with fried Aerepas, which were so crisp, fresh and Full of flavor!! I got the beef pinchos which is a columbian skewer with fresh yucca fries. It came with a garlic cilantro sauce which I couldn't get enough of. We then got some patecones which I've ever had before, needless to say I want to eat one everyday now. I live in Tampa but I am making it a weekly trip to come here and try everything else they have. Steven was so informative and friendly and food knowledgable it was great. The Chef made us a special cheese and guava dusted empanada... It was out of this world!!!! I can't even explain the flavor combinations except it was probably one of the BEST things I've ever eaten. I highly recommend this place to anyone! They have food for all ages, and are so friendly and their food is SO fresh and not to mention their price points were perfect. I can't wait to go back here and eat more columbian food!!

Split a super Rico burger, yuca fries, and veggie patacon with my 10 y/o daughter, and it was more than enough for us both. All outstanding. I've eaten a lot of Caribbean and a little Peruvian. This is similar in some ways, but definitely unique. The yuca fries were done a way I've never seen, but loved. The burger was well above any fast food place, and among the best I've ever had. Patacon was also great.

Super Rico is the bomb dot com. I come here for lunch on a weekly basis because it, somehow, checks all the boxes: the service is fantastic, the food is fresh and delicious, and the prices are really good. My staple is the arepica--a white corn cake loaded with beef or chicken, peppers and onions, and covered in queso blanco and their homemade cilantro sauce (which is to die for). I'd also highly recommend the pinchos (beef or chicken skewers on a bed of crinkle cut french fries--get some cilantro sauce for dipping!) and the arepa burger. Steven (or any of the staff) are happy to explain any of their menu items to you and answer questions. Seating can be sparse, so I either call ahead or make sure I'm going outside of the normal lunch rush; the wait isn't usually terrible though.

Food was really good. A little on the greasy side, but very tasty. Their Cilantro Sauce is killer -- you'll want to put it on everything. Seating is a little cumbersome and not very comfortable (it's mostly outside with no shade from the hot Florida sun). I would come again and recommend it for a quick bite on the go.

Holy crap. Best hot dog I've ever had. Hands down, and I'm from Chicago so I've had plenty of hot dogs in my time. Very good arrepas as well and the man running the register who I assume is the owner gave great customer service as well, acting as cashier and server. He was very polite to the 3 drunk girls and gave them a hamburger for free that was made on accident. I was even overcharged by $2 but wasn't going to complain because the hotdog was THAT good and the owner came by with my $2 because he realized the error. Very impressed and I will make the treck back for my next hot dog fix.

I discovered this *GEM* through Groupon, but SOOOOO glad I did. I've had their chicken patacones and their empanadas and they are delicious to say the least! Every co-worker that has seen what I bring back to work for lunch, always asks to be included next time. Great food, great prices, fast service!

Angelique L.
The quality of food and service is amazing. All the food is made from scratch, they use grass-fed beef, hormone free chicken and the empanadas and areas are made by local farmers. They do take pride in everything they do, from the food to the service. I was impress they knew their regulars and their orders. While there was not a line at the register, the woman went around asking everyone if everything is ok. Like a mom or a grandmother when family is over at her house. Even the cooks were involved asking if the order is correct, or if there something missing. I am so happy I have found this latin gem in downtown Orlando.

Food was good for the price. Terrible service. The place gives off a whole Ghetto Hispanic vibe where if you don't speak spanish you are treated poorly. I asked to use their bathroom, I had just ordered food so I wasn't some free loader I was a paying customer, but the guy in the front told me they close their bathrooms at 2am. He then turned to my girlfriend and told her if she wanted to she could use the bathroom. When I asked him how he was going to let her use it but not me, he told me and I quot, "Hey is there a problem here, you are about to swallow some teeth so I suggest you leave". Never thought I would be threatened over using a bathroom. I told him I wasn't leaving due to the food I had purchased was not out yet. Then another employee came from behind me and pushed my shoulder asking me "do we have a problem here?" It's a shame really because the food was good and well priced. Too bad their staff are so unprofessional and aggressive.

Great service. Food was amazingly DELish!!! Chicken Pinchos and beef arepica was a great first choice for our visit here! Will def be back;) Steven was very attentive along with the rest of the staff!

This place is really good! It started out as one of the more popular Food Trucks in the Orlando scene, and has now transitioned to be an excellent spot downtown. First time I went, I got the special- a meatball sandwich, amazing. I went back the 2nd time, and ordered the Arepica, a white corn cake topped with hogao sauce, jalapeno relish, grilled vegetables, and queso blanco (think tostado, but way way better). It's not a huge portion, but for $5, it's not going to be enormous. SO how do you solve your hunger gap? Empanadas, of course! Go with the trio of 1 chicken, 1 beef, and save the 3rd empanada for desert and get the guava and cheese. You can be a fool and try some of the other crappy places downtown, or you can swing by Super Rico. It's up to you. The only real downside to this place: seating is very limited, but Orlando in the Fall is the perfect time to eat outside. You're a quarter mile walk from Heritage Square, so what's there really to complain about? You could use the walk anyway.
(5)
Angelica S.
My experience is based on the Super Rico burger and the empanadas. The beef patty didn't taste good at all. The egg was overcooked. And overall it didn't taste fresh. I have def had better burgers. The empanadas weren't great either. We ordered both the chicken and the beef, and they literally tasted the same which was really strange. Perhaps it was the filling which was mainly made out of potatoes and very little chicken or beef. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience that didn't live up to the high reviews.

Very good flavor. The Aprika is delicious-all of the spice were right on. Spicy perro was delicious also.

Tasty spicy perros, beef Pinchos, crispy empanadas, and the Super Rico burger all lives up to the name....Super!
(5)David S.
The best for Colombian burgers downtown. Be sure to try the cinnamon cheese empanadas, too.
(5)Jay M.
I don't need to say much more than what's already written on here. Amazing. I had the burger I heard so much hype about. It was spectacular. I would definitely come back and I will.
(5)Jason L.
Burgers are amazing! As are the yuca fries with cilantro sauce. Indoor seating is limited so get there early when it's hot.
(5)Andy S.
Perfect spot for great food. Limited seating. Had a hamburger that was incredible and the staff was fun. Great place.
(5)Josh C.
I just had Super Rico tonight for the first time with one of my friends from school up north, and it was great. I had the Super Rico burger, which was huge but more than worth it in calories and taste. The arepas with guacamole are delicious, too. Will definitely come by my next time in town!
(5)Matthew G.
Awesome food. Would recommend to anyone who loves Columbian food. I had the Patacon y pollo and the yuca.
(5)Victoria A.
Amazing !! The prices are great being that there located downtown. Empanadas were fantastic. The employees were also super nice! Will absolutely be returning!
(5)Peter k.
The food here is made with pride. You can get lost in the options they have. Best Colombian place in town for sure. Be sure to try one of their burgers. Sooo good! The location is really great too. It is right next to a good beer spot. I heard they may combine into one unit. We shall see. Highly recommend!
(5)Nate S.
Best burger in town! I've sworn by Johnnys for years, but the super Rico burger takes the cake. Doesn't hurt it's next for to my favorite bar. Eat local!!! 5/5!
(5)Lysette R.
(4)Jed A.
(4)Kristen H.
I love this place! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Tip : You can order the food to go and eat at the picnic table at the bar next door (as long as you order a beer, of course!)
(5)Kyle C.
(5)John O.
(3)Aldo V.
Amazing service , best guacamole and enpanadas in the usa. And yes I'm colombian I know jeje
(5)Nisha B.

(5)Feras Z.
(4)Annie G.
Amazing! Had the Spicy Perro and Empanadas and they were great! Definitely coming back.
(5)Mayra A.

Awesome colombian food. Love the variety of empanadas. Quality ingredients and friendly staff.

OMG the original burger was amazing. And the guacamole with sweet arepa is to die for!!!! Such a great spot.

(5)Ryan F.

(5)Lindsley A.
This place overall is great to grab a bite and enjoy and well maybe sober up a bit too ;)
(4)Sol B.
What a delicious burger. One of the best burger i have ever had. Try "Super Rico burger" now and thank me later.
(5)Ho L.
For late night grub, you can't go wrong with a Colombian burger: juicy patties slathered with various sauces and potato chips. The staff is friendly and helpful, quick to answer any questions you many have about the menu. The seating area is tight, but the restaurant is usually not terribly busy.
(4)Elizabeth M.
(5)Mike R.
This place is stellar. My wife and I were eager to find a low priced Latin restaurant and actually stumbled across this joint on yelp. When we went in at around 4:30 we were welcomed with kindness and pure ambition to please. I ordered the Super Rico Burger, she, the Beef Pinchos. Absolutely amazing. After sitting outside for about 10 minutes we received both of our entrées. Both sizzling hot with a variety of flavor that I could never dream of enjoying anywhere else other than Miami, Chicago or New York. Bravo! With my $7.99 burger and her $8.35 Pinchos we walked out for less than $20 and came running back in to grab some empanadas to go for later which, by the way are incredible too!
(5)Yvette S.
(5)Jordan O.

(4)Heather T.
(5)Alex M.
(4)Joe D.
Fan-freakin'-tastic!!! Guacamole was out of this world! The beef patacon was phenomenal! Can't wait to go back!
(5)Ivy A.
(5)Todd S.
(4)Sheila J.

(4)Drew M.
(4)Mia P.
(4)Chelsea S.
(5)Mike W.
Probably the best in late night food downtown. Right next to tap and grind you can get your food from here and eat it while enjoying a very nice craft beer next door.
(5)Rosa C.
(5)Leanne M.
One of the best places to eat downtown. Always a good idea to grab dinner here before heading into the chaos of downtown Orlando nightlife. Quality of food is always amazing and the yuca fries are life changing. I always get the beef pinchos and my partner loves the super Rico burger.
(5)Daniela L.
(5)Kasey R.
So far I've had the arepa burger and the beef, chicken and guava empanadas and they were all amazing. The guava empanada was my favorite
(5)Tiffany R.
(4)B L.
Great food and great prices. Yuca fries and the burger with the egg were both very good! Egg is cooked well. Try the sauces on the side, all of them are tasty. Indoor seating area is very small but they have extra tables outside.
(4)Pedro B.
(5)Chelsea M.
Muy delicioso! I really enjoyed the cheese and guava empanada. We were a party of 5 and we were all impressed with our meals. The lulo juice was also a new delicious surprise. The guys who work were also super friendly and helpful. Great place!
(5)Ecila W.
(4)Merta M.
A friend suggested this place to me and I fell in love. Perfect burgers for late night munching. The staff is extremely friendly. My friend being a vegetarian has many options to choose from. Must try in Downtown Orlando!!!
(4)Tatiana C.
Everything was awesome! Food was excellent and customer service very good! Try the arepica, the salchipapa and the burger !! Amazing !
(5)Capricia J.
The food was absolutely amazing!! Very cozy atmosphere. And the all of the employees (owners?) were so nice & helpful. We had the chicken patacón and a super rico burger. Tried the empanadas and wanted more. So tempted to go order something else because it was all so good. We will be back!!
(4)Lisa W.
(3)Joan B.
(5)Maria D.
(5)Jon Y.
(4)SallyCinnamon C.
(4)Michael O.
(5)Brandi N.
(4)Cassie G.
Super Rico's is the best!! I always get an arepa burger or guac with arepa points and empanadas.
(5)Ryan V.

Absolutely love this place....the service is on point, music playing and great energy all around, prices are perfect and open late. Sometimes the best places to eat are the home in the wall places.
(5)Michelle M.
Excellent food and really great service. I had the burger with the egg and the guacamole dip, both were delicious. Can't wait to try something different next time.

(5)Seth H.
Must go here. Everything is delicious and affordable. One of the super-exciting Orlando finds!
(5)Betty C.

(5)Lena F.
The food was good. I am happy that the yelp reviews helped me to make a great dinner decision. Yeah...the empanadas are great and the burgers are also yum.
(4)Ryan M.
I love this little place! Excellent food. Great lunch spot.
(5)Luis V.

(4)Angelique L.

Highly recommended. Great service, amazing food. Everything on the menu is a must try.

(5)Angelica S.
(2)Marc G.
Most underrated food in Orlando. Most items are gluten free, non-GMO, and organic. Highly recommend- very friendly staff.

This place is amazing oh my gosh ! I thought I died and went to food heaven. Everyone should try this place at least once.
