It's conference season! And here we go. Flew in from Chicago this morning. Lots of wandering around. Lots of cab fare. Time for the first night's dinner as we settle in after a 14 hour day... ...except service was stop-and-go to kick things off. Lots of open tables, and an apparently unorganized service staff. It worked out in the end, but I couldn't shake the perception things were slow. But onto the food. Asian BBQ salmon with shrimp - Remarkably low in calories (431) and high in flavor. The barbecue sauce isn't a real barbecue sauce; it's more a wet rub on the salmon, but it was good. The salmon was fresh and moist, and the shrimp wasn't too overcooked. I loved this. Sweet potato fries - Crispy, served with ketchup, and a bit salty. I have a weakness for sweet potato fries, and Ruby Tuesday satisfied this weakness. Mashed cauliflower - I figured this healthy option would be a bit of a stretch, but this tasted pretty good. Needed a little salt and a little more flavor. Tropical Sunrise - A nonalcoholic drink option that had lots of mango chunks, but not a big enough straw. Overall, the food made up for the shortcomings in service, which was a bit of a surprise. If you don't want to hit up the food court across the way, Ruby Tuesday's is a nice place to go for dinner.

I love this Ruby Tuesday! I never have a service or bad food. I worked close by so this place is convenient. And although their food is more expensive than the mall food court, it is so worth it. I usually get a veggie trio and their salad bar which is $9.99. They also have a good happy hour with $5 Absolut cocktails. I recommend their Ruby Relaxer. You don't taste the alcohol but you definitely feel relaxed after one. Their menu has something for everyone, including many gluten free options if you're celiac or gluten intolerant like myself. 2 thumbs up for Jason amd Swiss, their usual bartenders. Great guys, professional, and knowledgeable.

Fresh food almost every time. Its hard to keep a chain with standards and this is one that I can count on no matter where I am in the US! Keep up the good work!

Another restaurant our group ate while in Florida was Ruby Tuesdays. A few of my friends have tried Ruby Tuesdays but this was a first for me. The place looked like a cleaner version of Apple Bees with higher quality food. Being a chain I expected it to be plain boring food. I was wrong... I went with the Herb Crusted Tilapia and a sweet tea. It comes with a tender, mild tilapia crusted with panko garlic bread crumbs topped with lemon-butter sauce. With fresh, steamed broccoli and brown-rice pilaf. The portions were perfect. Each bite of food was flavorful. Plus it didn't make me feel bloated and didn't leave me hungry. The only issue was that it took a little long to get our food... I guess quality takes time :)

There's something about businesses in the tourism areas of Orlando. All the employees seem to not care as much about friendliness and service because they'll never see the customers again for the most part. I've been here twice now and the service is just so mediocre and never personable. The reason I always come back is because the food never disappoints, never disappoints me that is. The chicken fresco is wonderful and has a lovely flavor and I love their cheesy biscuits. My mom got the asiago steak and she asked for medium rare and it was served basically rare, the waitress asked if our food was okay and instead of waiting on my mom to cut her steak (like everyone should do when serving a steak) she walked away when I said that my food was fine. The food was good but the service just never cuts it, from now on I'll stick to the stand-alone Ruby Tuesdays further down on OBT where the service is outstanding.

Not impressed with this location. Although it's located in a popular mall, it feels and appears like it's seen better days. As we were being seated there were French fries spilt in walkway and our table had not properly been cleaned. The food was fine and our service was acceptable however, she brought us a ketchup that was empty.

I have been coming to this Ruby Tuesdays since they opened. I love ruby Tuesdays usually. I was very disappointed to learn they were out of salmon...this was the second time that happened. They also didn't have French dressing on their signature salad bar was told it may have been discontinued. They have always had issues with not so clean salad plates. Its amazing what you won't tolerate with a less than average experience. Service was ok. We were sat at a table that was still wet from being wiped down and had to ask to have table dried. Booth seat was ripped...may be time for a makeover. This location cannot afford to go downhill unless they want to only have patrons from the mall. I fight mall traffic and Parking issues to eat here but will not continue with these conditions

Just won my dukeship here after only my 3rd check in and I'd like to voluntarily relinquish it right away. Out of the 3 visits, 2 have been atrocious experiences. I don't have many complaints about the food. In fact, the asian dumplings are one of my favorite appetizers. The steaks and chicken are pretty good but the portions could be better. The 2 different type of steak and shrimp combos I've had only come with 3 shrimp...woop dee doo. The cottage cheese was taken off of the salad bar and that was my favorite part. The service is what brings this place down. None of the hostesses are at all friendly and the slowness of the servers and kitchen are pitiful. We waited a good 30 minutes for our food after ordering and they didn't bring mine out until 15 minutes later. My family was done eating before I even got mine. All visits from our server were staggered between more uncomfortably long waits. So I'm done with this Ruby Tuesday. Id much rather eat at the food court. Please take my duke title...please

Worst food ever in my life so bad had to create this account to tell you about it. First Ithe server almost ran my son over when the hostess was trying to seat us relax there honey let us sit first before you push yourself through very rude. Told my wife hope she's not our waiter but of course she was.Anyways we ordered the cheese fries app was about 20 thin fries with cheese, bacon, and green onions not much considering it cost 6.99. Let it slide didn't say anything. I ordered chicken quesadilla my wife the hamburger and my son a cheese pizza. Waited 20 minutes after the fries came to get our food. When she put my plate down I almost died what I saw. Was 4 little triangles or like half the size as Chilis quesadilla and it's the same price but wasn't put on the flat top it was like they took 2 small tortillas out the bag put together with cheese and chicken in the middle and put it in the microwave didn't check what was inside cause they didn't toast the outside absolutely horrible. Also me and my wife have had stomach ever since eating there earlier today. Could complain about more but trust me if you want the cheapest ingredients, worst cooks, and worst server this place is for you.
#Yelp100 After a problem with the hostess (GET A NEW ONE), the manager and our server took control and made us feel welcome. If you get a chance and want better than fastfood at Florida Mall, this is the place to go. Nice salad bar and good hot food.

I realize this is a chain restaurant, but you'll be better off at Wendy's . Our food took forever. After seeing the anger in my eyes from food deprivation, our waiter said we could get food from the salad bar for free....this actually which makes me think they either messed up or order or forgot to put it in. Then when our food finally arrived it wasn't hot! It was barely warm, like room temperature, like it was just hanging out in the kitchen under a lamo.... I had the turkey mini sliders. The turkey was well seasoned and the tomato was red but that's about it. They set my bread on fire (burnt it) and the fries were bland, room temp and unexciting. The food court sucks and this mall and so does this establishment. Go test your luck at California Pizza Kitchen!
Absolutely crap-tacular. Painfully slow kitchen that delivered a poorly executed meal - from the breakfast menu no less. Skip this culinary disaster and pickup a grab and go sandwich.

Much better visit this time, my manager called our server the "soda ninja" as we were never without drinks. I ordered the black and blue pretzel burger. It was delicious totally satisfying. The other two people with me fining ordered the salad bar and our server (julius?) Asked if the wanted $1 fish or chicken tacos added- they were like yeah okay. Then these AMAZING tacos come out and I have to say- they looked more like $10 tacos!!!! So good my manager couldn't eat everything and took one to go. Great value- so appreciative of our server making the suggestion.

Event: Monday night dinner for 5 Pros: -Plenty of choice, recommend the fish -Particularly helpful waiter at the salad bar rushed off to find requested dressing -For a few dollars, add the instant salad bar to any main -If they forget to ask you about dessert-- it's free! (They probably won't!) Cons: -RUDE waiter who clearly did not want to be working there and was quick to let you know it! -Horrible decor Sum: If you happen to be in the mall... Maybe it's better on a Tuesday!

Went here on Black Friday after the crowds were getting to me and I felt like I needed to breathe. The hostess wasn't very welcoming so my guest and I sat at the bar. JASON was very welcoming and accommodating. He greeted us as soon as we sat down and had our drink orders to us within less than 6 minutes. The atmosphere was pleasant and the décor wasn't distracting. The food was good, nothing spectacular but it was easy one the stomach. The only complaint I have is with the servers that were near the bar. They seemed to think that while they were waiting for their drinks to be made they could behave however they saw fit. I found this unpleasant and detrimental to my overall experience. However I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
