This was my first visit to PF and was ready for a different taste experience. Coming into the restaurant, there was a line from the register to the door. A good sign on one hand, yet the line didn't move at any pace for a while. Impatience started growing. So I took a look at the menu and saw some great but limited choices such as the plain jane BBQ sandwich and the sausage and shrimp tacos. So good in fact, I ordered them with the grilled corn on the cob as the side. The plain jane sandwich was plain in name only. Coupled with the sweet BBQ sauce side, it has an excellent flavor....a mix of shredded smoked pork, creamy slaw, and sweet BBQ sauce. Very well done... and it is a few mouthful bites too. The sausage and shrimp taco was a delicious offering. The seasonings in the sausage balanced out with the creamy dressing and the shrimp. Juicy, filling, and done right. The grilled corn was the delight. Grilled and seasoned with a sprinkling of grated hard cheese. This was the real treat. Grilled corn isn't easy in the simple form as I grill it on occasion, but to add a spice mix that comes off balanced, juicy, and not burned? That's a masterpiece. On the service side, the initial wait in line would have been ok but it seemed the cashier wasn't trained on how to handle a crowd since otherwise the food came out quickly and we were offered refills consistently. Overall, the rating takes a ding here for that initial experience. On the final thought, Pig Floyd is a good first experience. The food was solid and the drink service keep us filled. I would gladly return for another round

Simply delightful. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, although I am partial to the pork belly tacos. Make sure to try the maduros- they are some of the best in all of Florida (sorry abuela).

Best bbq in Orlando -hands down Order the brisket or the ribs- they are to die for. Also love the plantains- you don't see that too often at bbq joints. Def worth your time and money. They do a good take out plate too if you are in rush I love this place ands it's a gem on mills ave

I was really excited about this place but was let down when I ordered my "Hunger Killer" sandwich and had to sub the brisket for chicken ( they sold out ) although it was good I felt it could have potentially been great had it been the brisket. Let me mention that they still charged me for the brisket price although I had to sub it for chicken because they sold out. I will say the yuca fried were some of the best and the corn was just corn.
(3)Jodi Z.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. $11 for a great pork bahn mi sandwich, side and free refill iced tea. I had fried sweet plantains as my side and they were delicious. The sandwich was fresh, juicy and totally yummy. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere is enjoyable. They also have a great craft beer selection if that's your thing. I'll be back to try more food for sure.

I've tried this place three times and it's awesome! The shrimp and sausage taco is my very favorite along with the yuca fries and fancy sauce! Armando is pretty darn awesome too!

I've been meaning to update my review for awhile and I apologize to Pig Floyd's that I haven't but I have DEFINITELY changed my opinion about this place. Although I'm still not particular about their tacos, their 1/2 Spiced Chicken Platter is delicious! It's so well seasoned and tender, I get it every time I go back. It comes with two sides and I typically get the black beans w/ rice and the corn on the cob. I think the first time I ordered the black beans w/ rice, I got the end of the batch so it wasn't the best. After trying it again, I was very satisfied. All together it's only $9.99! It's probably the best bang for your buck on the menu. Even though my first two experiences at Pig Floyd's were a bit sour, every time after that they've impressed me.
(5)Mike W.
Perfect tacos and perfect portions. I thought i'd give this place a few tries before I made a review. First night I went there was only the second night it was open and they ran out of pork... second few times were very pleasant experiences were I was able to get a very good fill of food.

I've driven by Pig Floyd so many times and finally had the chance to try it. Upon parking, I smelled the fresh smoked barbecue cooking! The atmosphere is perfect for anything from a lunch break to dinner and drinks after work. I love the combination of Latin cuisine with American Barbeque! I had the Plain Jane pulled chicken sandwich on a coconut pineapple role with a side of rice and black beans and sweet BBQ sauce. As a healthy eater, this was a great dish for me. The sandwich was exploding with chicken and I even had some leftover rice and beans!
(5)Rob M.
Visited Pig Floyd's today for lunch. One word comes to mind...WOW! The food, the service, the local feel, etc etc..5 Star from A to Z without the 5 star price tag. Can't wait to come back to this local gem of a restaurant.
(5)Katherine N.
Got the ribs platter with yuca and corn as my sides. Portions were huge, I had enough for another meal. Ribs were so flavorful and tender, yuca was delicious with the fancy sauce it comes with, and as a corn lover, their corn on the cob was probably one of the best I've had. Boyfriend got the matahambre sandwich, however, and didn't like it. I didn't get a chance to try it but he said it tasted like they tried to fuze too many different culture's flavors together and felt like it wasn't executed correctly.

Remember when Chipotle first popped up? Remember those inexplicable burrito cravings every time of day? Well Pig Floyd's gives me flashbacks... Major cravings. In fact, you can't stop thinking about Pig Floyd's until you finally get Pig Floyd's. It's that bad, you guys. So my first visit here was a little annoying because of the wait. They were out of my first choice and I forgot which sandwich I ended up ordering but it was yummy. I thought the plantains were under-ripe but ate then anyway (of course). The second time I visited in the middle of a Tuesday night rainstorm. The parking lot was empty and there was no line. Practically no wait. The clerk was friendly and even wanted to chit chat. I ordered the banh mi sandwich and fell in love. The textures, you guys. The textures.. Again I have the side of plantains and this time they are out of this world. I wake up the next morning craving more for breakfast. My third visit, however, nearly crushed my crush. It took 25 minutes from when I initially stood in line until we were able to finish our order. In those 25 minutes I drew up an entire narrative for the man and woman ahead of me. They were flirting and asking about where the other is from. I go "oh sweet a first date". The woman was a little on the heavy side and the man was quite short. Odd pair but good for them! Exchanging stories about grandfathers. How sweet! The man handed me a menu to look at as soon as we got in line. Such a gentlemen! Not necessary because my partner and I decided what we wanted three hours ago. We even took into consideration the crowds, and decided to wait until 9pm to drive over, not normal dining hours. We can avoid the wait - I thought. So the woman changes her purse to her other shoulder. Oh, boy. We have been here a while. I look up and see I swear the same three chaps still negotiating their order. What the hell? The couple's conversations slowly draw to a close. I feel sad for them. I turn to my companion and he is knee deep in researching man-buns, which he just realized is a thing. He was about to articulate his innermost thoughts on the subject and how it relates to Jared Leto when I give him a elbow nod. The young man behind him is sporting a man-bun. I notice the line has not moved and a few people have entered, note the line, and turn back around to leave. I turn back around and see a (new?) group of chaps still having issues ordering and paying.. Did I just see a double man bun? Does that count? Keep in mind I'm still craving Pig Floyd's like a fiend the entire time. I was starving. Finally our couple stands up to order. I find it odd they pay separately. I feel like the date went from promising at the beginning to a general knowledge that there is no future here so we pay separately. I feel sad for them. By now my partner has researched the origins of the name of the beer he plans on ordering. Why do so many north-eastern towns have Native American names? Is that all that remains of Native American culture? Is this the outcome they deserve? Do children growing up the the Western states grow tired of learning about the original 13 colonies of the United States? It is 9:23 and only then notice we need to multiply our pre-planned order by two. A quick mental shuffle and we get it down pat. Sauces and everything. Then we sit down and *wait* for our food. I can feel my stomach eating itself. The line is out the door. My couple have literally broken up. They went in different directions. My world has crumbled. What is the problem with this line? So we sit down and my compatriot goes "Man-buns are dumb and ugly. Native American names for beers and towns sound ridiculous and what the hell are you talking about that man in front of us was gay. Those two were not on a date." My food was delicious. The brisket is perfection. Yuca and the lucky dragon sauce go wonderfully together. Corn on the cob had me in tears and for the sake of GOD please get that line under control because I cannot be alone with my thoughts for 25 minutes while hungry. My hope is with time customers will figure out the menu so they don't have to ask the clerk 70 questions before placing an order. FYI by 10pm there was no line.

Good, modern take on barbeque. Really good fries and I had the barbequoa ban mi, which was delicious! The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. They also have unique and interesting items, like the Apple jicama slaw (also very good, but a bit heavy on the dressing). We'll definitely be back!

Good BBQ on Mills Ave downtown, we loved it
(4)Bill T.
We have picked up take out from here a couple of times now and this is some amazing BBQ. The ribs are particularly spectacular. Perfectly smoked with a nice smoke ring, still nice and juicy and super tender. The pulled pork is similarly delicious and cooked perfectly. The pork is a little light on seasoning but that is fine for sauce compatibility purposes. Ah, the sauces, the spicy sweet is perfect for me with a nice kick on the back end, they also have a kind of caribbean style sauce with mango or something in the has a nice sweet, tangy flavor, very nice. Their sides are mostly great too. The fennel apple slaw is amazingly delicious as is their cheese dusted corn on the cob, The black beans are good but not a wow. The service I have received ordering and picking up take out has been excellent, The next thing I need to do is get in here for a meal so I enjoy their beer selection and service in person.
(4)Melissa R.
Loved the barbecue wirh a Latin flare. The ribs were falling off the bone and the pulled pork was juicy. Loved all the sides we tried, especially the corn. The menu is GF friendly which is always a plus for me! Will definitely be back.
(4)Sarah D.
The corn on the cob is incredible!
(4)Steve W.
Have to say that they really made an effort to make up for my last visit. Of particular note, sides were stellar.... apple fennel slaw seems like they tweaked recipe with some red onion and cilantro, Mexi corn closer to the Jalisco street style. Ribs were outstanding this trip, service was as always top notch. These are business owners who want to do their best and it shows:

I've dined here several times and absolutely love it here. I was hanging out with a friend who has never and wanted to try it out. I was so pleased to see the line wasn't out the door like it normally is. To avoid the crowds, I suggest dining in between lunch and dinner. I usually go for the ribs ( best ribs in the city if you ask me), but this time I ordered the pulled pork and brisket with yuca fries and corn on the cob. Oh my goodness, both the brisket and pulled pork were smoked and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was amazing. The yuca was on point as usual and the pink sauce that goes with it is my favorite! I'm didn't care for BBQ sauce that came with my meal ( nothing was wrong with it, I just preferred the pink sauce to dip everything in instead). Now let's talk about the corn! I don't ever eat corn, but the flavors work so well together and it's just so tasty, i can never resist. They have many different options on their menu and a good beer selection as well. The staff there is awesome too. Always so friendly and helpful. They do a great job behind the counter and the dining room is kept clean and neat too. Oh so about my friend, she ordered the ribs, corn, and fennel slaw. She loved every bite and brought her boyfriend soon after to enjoy another meal.

A great new addition to the Orlando area eats. We headed out here on the recommendation of several locals, including my sister and her husband. It did not disappoint. The menu has a variety of options and the portions are a great size for the price point. Opted for the chicken and corn on the cob. The corn had a great seasoning blend on top - highly recommend this to corn on the cob fans. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was juicy and the sauce options were plentiful. The place itself has a good setup - I can see how it would get packed easily and you may have to wait for a seat (getting it to go is always an option). Staff was friendly and checked up on us throughout the meal. Overall: A If / when we move back to the area, we'll be back for sure!
(5)Eric G.
Great hipster like location with good food and cider choices! I'm hooked after just one visit!
(4)Lindsay T.
Love this place! Food is always excellent. Love the Plain Jane, fried yuca, plantains and of course the fancy sauce!
(5)Angela D.
Ok...started out the day looking for some "traditional", which I've yet to find. Today, was the same. Instead I found this friggin amazing "Urban Barbakoa". I was truly pleased. The place is really a nice place. The minute I walked in, the smell of smoked loving, just made me so happy. The menu caught me by surprise because no means did look like the typical BBQ joint menu. It took me like 20 mins to even decide. Right off, I could see the Latin/Asian/Indian influence & that just changed the game. I mean, they had "maduros" (fried ripe plantains...makes Boricuas smile), for crying out loud. Everything on the menu just sounded so delicious, but I went with the Barbakoa Bánh Mì. It was on the "smack yo momma" good. I almost did smack my mom, but she was getting the brisket & I really wanted to try it. Lol. So we get our food, and I was immediately impressed...did you know sandwiches could me sexy? Yep!! First thing I tried was the maduros because I'm so serious about my platanos. They were perfect...fried just enough to make them "candied". That sweetness totally complimented the smoked pulled pork & Lucky Dragon Sauce. I believe my sandwich was supposed to be on the hot/spicy side, but I didn't think so. I ordered hot BBQ sauce, but it wasn't too, but man, it was some amazing sauce. The brisket, well, I've had my share of dried out, over smoked brisket...not today. I could not believe how juicy & well flavored it was. I hardly ever get brisket...that will change! The food was so good and I didn't even mention the craft beer selection. To make this visit even better, I found out the owner was also the original owner of the Treehouse Food Truck (home of the famous Luther Burger)...PLUS, he's a native Puerto Rican...it makes all the sense now. I love that influence shows in the amazing flavor. I know this was a long review, but this place really made my day. Not the same ol', same ol'. Not the typical chain BBQ...no offense to the infamous place of a few rivers, but this place got me good! Buen Provecho!!
(5)Ian G.
Awesome blend of bbq and other flavors including Latin and Asian. Trying to eat less meat but this place makes it tough. All of the meats are high quality and never overcooked, a common bbq error. The coleslaw is meh but every other side is fantastic.

I've eaten here several times and introduced a few friends to this place because it's always been pretty good, but my last visit was different. I came in on a Sunday afternoon with a friend who had just recently had stomach surgery and really needed to get out of the house for a decent meal. Upon entering we noticed that there were only a few open tables, so I told my friend to go sit at a small table while I ordered because it was painful for him to stand up. An older man promptly came over and told my friend he could not sit there as he had not ordered yet. Ok, I guess, I get it, the place is busy you want fair seating. My problem arose when we were at the register ordering, planning on going to the two seats that just opened at the "bar." Two people walked in and sat down We told the cashier what had happened and he said its open seating, we told him that we were told that applies after you order and he informed us that's only at tables and not at the "bar." I say "bar" because it's not really a traditional type bar, you would not come here to just drink, it's more of high top seating. But apparently you can bypass the line out the door and go straight to the bar and order there, which I feel is unfair. I said that it was ridiculous from them to differentiate seating like that and he rudely told us we could go find seats outside. However, overhearing what was going on a nice family allowed us to sit at the unused portion of their table. Aside from the poor treatment the fries I was served were not fresh and the food was below what I expected based on previous visits, but that may have just been because I already had a bad taste in my mouth from the rude service. I can't say I'll never return here, but I'm a little shocked that they treated us like second class customers.
(1)Isaac H.
One word: outstanding! An amazing fusion of spices and flavors that are absolutely terrific! Go eat there NOW!
(5)Sydney W.
I love Pig Floyd's! It is one of the more "hip" places in town and it sure does live up to the hype. If you enjoy BBQ, this place has great stuff. What's unique is that it is a great mix of BBQ and other Asian and Mexican influences. It is a great location right in Mills 50, and is a delicious spot for lunch!
(5)David Q.
Pig Floyd's continues to impress. The Mills 50 Cheesesteak is awesome. Check it out. There's usually a line of people out the door. However, they have extremely fast and efficient service. Thanks to our bartender Amber, we were able to order and eat at the bar. No wait.
(5)FrancesMarie S.
I visited Pig Floyd's when it first opened, with a group of 10 - for a Tuesday night, it was slammed. They didn't have enough help on the floor or behind the counter. The food was amazing, fresh, fun - but if you're a new establishment in Orlando with a great offering, then beef up the staff! You're going to be popular! I'll give it another shot because the food was worth it; hopefully they'll have settled in by the time I go back.
(3)Cole N.
Get yourself that butter chicken taco. The place has a great atmosphere. Owner is fantastic. Good stuff.
(5)J G.
I like this place a lot, I really do. Was disappointed to be turned away at 7:44P on a Sunday night and told the kitchen was closed. There were still plenty of people eating on the outside deck but the staff seemed in a hurry to pack it in...I don't go looking to eat at places just before closing but frankly I'm surprised when a place that serves dinner closes at 8P even if it is Sunday. With daylight savings time in effect it didn't occur to me it was closing time. And when a restaurant says it closes at 8P I sort of expect it to stop serving food at 8 and not 7:44...just a per peeve ...I expected better of this place. Anyhow, Little Saigon took our business with no anxious faces... That said, I've eaten here many times and love the Plain Jane Barbakoa with Lucky Dragon Sauce and the corn...the place is a winner...that last experience gave me a sour taste though...
(3)Melissa H.
Yumminess all around. Great outdoor seating for any of the great tacos. Delicious sides such as slaw and maduros.
(4)Chris L.
Move over 4R, this place def gives them a run for their money. Been here twice now and each time, it surprises me how good it is. The ribs are LEGIT! That's all you need to know. Helpful staff and great place for some finger licking food.
(5)Neil A.
Food - Delicious Atmosphere - inviting, comfortable, Barbakoa flair Don't miss the opportunity to eat at Pig Floyd's. The fennel slaw and brisket rock. Fill your mouth with amazing flavor
(5)Vyalette S.
Wasted $42 here! 1st the cashier was unhelpful and rushy! And give a smile once if that's too much to ask for? 2nd the food was presented nicely but once we ate it, it was like eating grass! The lettuce they put in had a strong grass taste that I can't even taste the BBQ meat! The chimmi sauce taste like pesto, more like garlic sauce. Brisket was dry! Grilled veggie was so oily! Togo most of the food and my dog didn't even want it! So trashed if at home! 3rd when I came out of the parking, the owner parked his damn truck by the exit spot and wouldn't move! That was so rude and unprofessional! I had to back up and go to another exit! Extremely disappointed with this place! Never ever go back to this place!
(1)Robert A.
Really good. Barbeque, with a latin twist, and more. The smoked ribs were delicious. They had a pulled rib meat sandwich, dressed with a tasty slaw on a delicious sub roll. We also had a couple of tacos, briskett and pork belly. The pork belly taco was awesome - I was surprised. The maduros were done right, very ripe and well caramelized, how I love them. Prices start under $4 for a taco to $23.99 for a full rack of ribs. Lots of filling sandwiches and meals in the $8 - $13 range.
(5)ford j.
Out of the box bbq place... Name should give it away... A little Indian, Carribean, a little Mexican...all benefitting from the aromatic smokey notes that waft through the industrial but cozy exterior and the roomy patio
(4)George B.
I went to this place shortly after it opened, with my wife, for lunch. I was VERY disappointed that they didn't seem to have any real concept of what we Americans take for granted should be at any establishment that purports to serve BBQ. They had NO pork spare ribs which just floored me. I recall also from that visit that their hours of operation were rather odd. We didn't return for a Looooonnng time. Today, after looking at their website and reading some of the recent reviews, it looked like a total transformation had occurred there. I told the wife we HAVE to go back and give them a 2nd try. I'm very glad we did. Pig Floyd's is a small shop with a small parking lot which was filled so today we had to park on the street behind it. You enter and stand in line to order and pay up front. You get your drink and carry it to the table with a numbered sign. When ready, the waiter/waitress brings your order out to your table. I'm admittedly put off by this, but it seems to be more and more common. I guess that is why I like going to Sonny's where you get full table service. I ordered a full slab of St. Louis Oak Smoked pork spare ribs, basically 2 halves but you save by doing that quite a bit. It came with 2 sides. I believe it was $25.99. If you said I wanted 2 halves they are $15.99 per half. That's quite a savings. There was NO choice of 'finishes', so I had no choice but to accept them as they were, slathered with a sweet sauce. I really prefer a nice traditional rib that was lightly coated with dry rub while still raw, and with no sauce of any kind as I want to just taste the smoky meat and not the sauce, no matter how good it is. I was a bit put off by that. For some reason, the wife's half was tenderer and juicier than mine. That was a bit odd. I did appreciate that the meat was not 'falling off the bone', but for some reason mine was a bit too chewy, and somewhat drier inside, but hers not. We took some ribs home and used them tonight in a spaghetti meat sauce with other things. It gave a nice flavor to the sauce. I was impressed that they were obviously busy, well organized, and even at close to 1 p.m. on a Saturday, the place was close to being filled and people kept coming in the door. I want to go back and try other things. Pig Floyd's definitely has caught on and is popular and I bet now they wish they had a bigger place with more parking and more seating. At the rate they are going, that's going to happen.
(3)Jeff L.
Just a quick update to celebrate this place. Here's the bottom line - this place still has efficiency issues and is struggling with balancing it's food inventory against demand. Tonight we suffered from this issue as early as the 6:30pm dinner rush. But here's the deal - the recovery, the focus on the issue...the staff working against the problem is so evident...that you can't be mad at them. Tonight the manager gave us some pretty great recovery options...and kept us happy. The over worked cashier was able to handle the chaos and even got our order underway as soon as possible. To be clear...this is happening because great food and service is happening. And they didn't run out of food...simply wanted to ensure the inventory would be there. What happened later once the orders got under control - was another (yes, we'v been back several times) AMAZING home run meal. Huge, huge applause for the newest delicious neighbor in the 'hood. *They have also been approved for outdoor seating with dogs. Another plus we are grateful for!
(4)Steven F.
Wow. Best BBQ in orlando. Get the ribs. The smoke ring is heavy. We got a mixed plate of pulled pork and brisket. It came with black beans and rice and fried plantains. The plantains were awesome. The pork was the shiner of this plate. The brisket was a bit fatty. Had it with sweet sauce and the chimichurri sauce. Got half a rack of ribs also. Succulent and some of the best I've had. And I've been all over texas for BBQ. The fried yuca was good as well.
(5)Scott B.
The ribs were awesome! Very sweet and meaty. The corn and coleslaw were also great! I definitely recommend.
(5)Laura P.
Tried Pig's for the first time last week for lunch with coworkers and I'm so glad I did. The food was fantastic- fresh, unique flavors that are married together perfectly. Staff is also above and beyond friendly and welcoming. The manager even remembered that my coworker is a vegetarian and made sure she ordered something she would enjoy. Love this place.
(5)Jenn M.
Had dinner here for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it. Small place, counter ordering, but good customer service and really good food. It's kid friendly, but doesn't cater to them (no kids menu) but our 2.5 year old was perfectly happy sharing our giant portions of food. We had one complaint, our food took way to long to arrive. We were in line at 6, had ordered by 6:09 and our food didn't come out until a bit after 6:30. Fortunately our toddler was in a reasonable mood, but on a different night it could have been a scene. When our food came out it was super hot and super delicious so we quickly got over the wait. The three of us shared the half chicken platter and the half slab of ribs platter. The chicken was super moist and didn't even need the sauce. We got the sweet BBQ sauce and didn't love it (there is a clove taste in it, not our thing) so we'd try one of the other four sauce options next time. The ribs had a lot of meat on them and it all fell right off the bone. The spices used on the ribs and chicken were delicious! The sides were really good too. We had the fries, slaw, grilled veggies and fried plantains (two sides come with a meal). The fries were crisp and had a great seasoned coating. The slaw was fresh, yummy and unique. The grilled veggies were the most delicious grilled zucchini and squash. I honestly could have eaten an entire plate of them. And the fried plantains were AMAZEBALLS! Seriously the best I've ever had. So sweet and delicious. They are a must have. We will be back for sure.
(4)Hollyw W.
Excellent food, every single item we tried delicious. Lines a bit long but worth the wait must try!
(5)Joe E.
First time here. Looks promising but sold out of brisket and pulled pork by 7:30?! Hmm. Beer selection looks good. Great how they changed interior from old Turkish place. Ok..foods here. Looks excellent. Tastes great! Pulled pork.
(4)Casey R.
Well I am writing this review a week after I ate there. The reason you ask? Well I stopped in and had the Big Floyd... Wow this thing blew my mind. So I drove 1.5 hours to see my mother and I slapped that woman in her face. There is no way I could go on living this lie. That woman took me to Sonnys growing up and called it barbecue. I was arrested and when the judge asked me why, I explained. So myself, the prosecutor, the arresting officer, and the judge are on the way to that b1tch's house to teach her a lesson.

Hubs and I went on a cold Friday night, and this place was hopping. The line to order was kind of ridiculous. The line moved SO slowly and got so backed up people in line were hovering next to tables of people trying to eat. This maybe happened because it was so cold no one wanted to wait outside, I don't know. The food was good. The portions were large, and we went home with a third meal in tow. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. The specialty tacos were by far the most interesting thing we had. Everything else was pretty standard.
(3)Jenni L.
First time here today and it was ahhhmazing! Food and customer service were on point. Can't wait to go back and try another item off the menu.
(5)Michelle V.
Finally made it here! My daughter inhaled the plate of rice and black beans - great flavor! The brisket and pulled port were great too - try it with the hot BBQ sauce, OMG I want that right now. The corn on the cob was very good, the yuca fries out of this world and the sweet plantains, YUM! Service was very good, and they were super busy (we went on a Friday night, so line was constantly almost out the door). They were out of the ribs (which we were told as soon as we got there), so we'll have to go back to try them.
(5)Public J.
Get their full rack of ribs with dragon sauce and double side of cold slaw you won't regret it!
(5)Samantha H.
Really really good. I love that they use oak to smoke their food. It lends a full flavor. The brisket was some of the best I have ever had. I strongly recommend this restaurant. :-D

I got the spiced chicken with corn on the cob and plantains. The chicken was phenomenal. Great spice rub flavoral skin with tender smokey meat. Everything else was good too. Their service is slow and never got a refill of my sweet tea. The food is worth it though and I would go back.

Delicious bar b que. We really enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go back.

We've been here twice now and the food is consistently great. Ribs were ahmazing!!! They've also got an excellent selection of weird beers. And great atmosphere... perfect spot for a week night dinner.

Went for the first time last night and it will not be the last!!! Ordered the half slab of ribs with the roasted corn and apple slaw sides. Also an order of the 2 meat combo tacos of pork and brisket. We chose the beans and rice and fried yucca for the sides to that dish. The hubs and I also asked for a couple recommendations on their IPA's. He likes something with a bit more bite while I'm still a newbie to beers and wanted something light and easy. The woman taking our order let us sample a couple different ones until we each found something we liked. After placing our order we wandered to a table outside as it was nice and cool. We noticed the restaurant was about half to two-thirds full. Pretty good for a Tuesday evening. The seating area outside is nice considering it's right off a busy street. Great tunes from the seventies and eighties were playing which we enjoyed. Our beverages arrived a few minutes after we sat down and the food was only a couple minutes thereafter. Hands down the ribs was the winning dish for us. A good dry rubbed rib with lots of meat. I usually find the St. Louis style rib to be more fatty than a baby back. These ribs felt like a bigger version of baby back ribs with less fat than I usually expect for St. Louis style. And the meat just pulled right off the bone. So good!! The beef brisket was also very tasty and tender. The pork I thought was the only downer of the meal. It was very dry and a little tough. My husband commented that it tasted pretty good if you drowned it in one of the sauces that came with it. I like a little sauce, not a lot. If you have to cover it up with sauce then it's not that good to begin with. All the sides were excellent. That was a very unexpected and pleasant discovery. Sides tend to get short shifted. However each one was well prepared with the best ingredients. I liked the fried yucca much more than I thought I would. It was lightly fried and not greasy at all. It was paired with a sauce that had a little kick to it. The grilled corn with it's lime, cilantro and sprinkling of cotija cheese will have you rethinking how to cook corn on the cob!! And I've never had beans and rice so flavorful. I didn't even know they could be so flavorful!! Usually that's something we take a couple bites and then leave it on the plate. We ate it all up though. What's great about this place is that we would bring our vegetarian friends here. All those sides would be great options for vegetarians. Plus there were more options that we didn't try and I'm sure they are just as good. Can't wait to return!! And I'm anxious to come back on a Sunday morning and try their version of brunch.

Really neat interior. Outside patio is a great place to hang out on a nice night. The tacos and the big Floyd sandwich delivered in a major way... Super flavorful food that is well thought out. This place is for the foodie and general public alike.

Can't get enough of this place. I live right down the road and can smell the amazing food from my driveway-- it always lures me in! I've been numerous times, but I can't deviate from the pulled pork, corn, and plantains. I've had several friends try other things and they rave about all of them. Everything is very flavorful. Staff is great and friendly and I love the outdoor seating.

What in the literal F. I've been here three times and ALL THREE TIMES they've been out of food. On a weekend. You know, when there should be ALL OF THE FOODS. So it's a Friday night. I want to get some takeout BBQ. Nope. Of course not. IT`S A FRIDAY NIGHT, WHY ON EARTH WOULD THEY HAVE FOOD??? Ran out of pork belly, shredded pork, basically ALL pork, and brisket. They had tacos though....woo the F hoo. So I ordered tacos over the phone for pick up. They said 15 minutes. I asked, "15 minutes?" Yes. 15 minutes. Well, 45 FREAKING MINUTES LATER, while I'm twiddling my freaking thumbs, watching the entire line of people gazing at their menus, picking out their orders (lots of pork orders, why didn't they have a sign they were out? IDIOTS!).....my measly ass tacos came out. Mind you, I had inquired a couple of times, is my order lost? Is my order in? All politely, all being sincere. When my order was being packaged, one of the servers stated it was fresh and just made. That's why it was taking so long. I can appreciate that. I drove the FIVE MINUTES to my house....unwrapped everything, all of it was cold. The stupid chicken taco. The stupid shrimp taco. The stupid fries. All were cold. COLD. The stupid corn was lukewarm. Five stars on the sauce, guys. The sauce is spot on. Even if I had to ask for it twice. Zero stars on the running out of food, the cold food, the late food....and the name. If you guys are trying to be like Pink Floyd I highly suggest not using the song "Time" as your theme song. Just run your place like Tako Cheena....just SAY that it will take 30 to 45 minutes. We don't mind waiting. Just be honest. And also put signs up in the front saying when you've failed at inventory on one of your busier nights (a Friday) to let all of your incoming customers know that you've run out of ALL OF THE THINGS THAT BBQ IS ABOUT.
(1)Sarah G.
Our first time here! If I were alone, I'd give it 5 stars. I had butter chicken & shrimp and chorizo tacos. Both were awesome! I went a little overboard & had fried yuca & corn. Both were great. Hubby had ribs & said they were ok. He said the slaw was great, but his Asian style veggies were also just ok. We love the staff - very friendly & helpful in finding seating. Don't be too freaked out if you walk in & it's packed. They'll help you out. We'll be back!
(4)Brian V.
Delicious. The tacos were great, the cheesesteak with pimento cheese was super flavorful, and the "Black and Tan" dessert was amazing. Don't have a bad thing to say about the place.
(5)Nisha S.
Tried this place with some friends a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious. I haven't been able to stop thinking about the food! It was a few days after they opened so service was a little slow at first, but it eventually picked up. The owner came by to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal and even brought out some brisket for us to try. I usually order brisket at bbq places and this one was easily some of the best I've had. I ordered the ribs for my meal and was completely blown away by how good they were. 4rivers has got nothing on this place. My friends and I are definitely planning on returning soon!
(5)Apryl C.
We first walked into this place a month or two ago and sadly after a look at the menu my husband, 9 and 12 yr olds had meltdowns about everything being "foofoo", not being so sure myself we walked out. Today I put my foot down and made them try it and boy am I ever glad!! Everyone- especially those preteen boys of mine were in heaven and ate every bite of their food (as well as mine!) and even had me order three extra tacos! It's rare that we can find a place where everyone in the house is excited to eat but Pig Floyd's is a winner in our house!! My only suggestion would be to have sauces on the table to help steam line the process when they are busy.
(4)Tim Y.
Literally the only reason it get only 4 stars is because of their beer prices. Other than that holy crap this place was great. Tried two different tacos they have and I can't wIt to go back and try more. MUCHO DELICIOUSO !
(4)Taylor B.
Amazing BBQ. Great concept. I had the half rack of ribs, the grilled corn, fried yuca, and the Vaca taco. Honestly, every bite was better than the last. The ribs were just right with the sauce. Super tender. The Vaca taco was unreal as well. Great sides, great beer on tap. Staff did a really nice job and the owner came over and chatted us up to make sure the whole experience was fantastic. Even though we told him it was amazing, he told us it will be even better the next time we come in because he pays such close attention to getting it perfect. Great atmosphere too. Looking forward to the next time I'm in orlando to get over to this place again.
(5)Cravin M.
Great stop before LAX game. Pork belly taco and shrimp & sausage taco are money. Second visit, plan many more.
(5)Brian W.
Excellent bbq option for those unable or unwilling to tackle 4Rivers' wait times and prices. Nice patio, good food, reasonably priced.
(4)Paulette F.
Super super yummy. Awesome rice and beans, yuca, and all the bbq meet. Love the atmosphere and the friendly workers. Definitely coming back
(5)Melinda J.
We read the reviews on Pig Floyds and all seemed favorable so we decided when in the area to give it a try. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We ate outside and it was very nice even though its on a main Street the wall saves you from the noise. They also have heat lamps if chilly. We ordered Pork belly taco's which were our favorites and the butter chicken taco's were also very tasty. French fries were very good but I ordered the fried yucca's and would order them again, a tasty sauce to dunk them in. Next time we would love to try one of their desserts. We will be back....
(4)Jonathan M.
Pig floyds has amazing food best restaurant in orlando,fl and very good service 5 star experience
(5)Katrina S.
Delicious food and amazing service! I went with a friend for dinner on a Sunday night. We got there just before the place filled up. After being greeted by the owner we placed our order. We decided on three different tacos: Butter Chicken, Pork Belly, and the special pork taco (but I can't remember the name). All three were very flavorful, but the pork belly and butter chicken tacos will definitely have me coming back for more! For sides we got rice and beans, as well as plantains. The plantains are a must when I return! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family for a delicious and quick meal!
(5)Kat C.
I had the brisket sandwich with an egg and chimmichurri. it was delicious, filling .and flavorful . The fries were perfect! The vibe of the place was very Mills/50 and cool. I will be back again to try something different. My boyfriend wanted ribs but they didn't have any till 4pm though =/ .
(4)Eric K.
Tried the Big Floyd. Brisket was dry and too salty. Didn't care for the cole slaw. If you're into the hipster bbq Asian fusion thing, you MAY like this place. If you're looking for a more traditional bbq restaurant I'd stay away.
(1)Robin D.
Hit or miss...food here is good but they run out of main dishes like brisket frequently. When this happens, they don't tell you for 15 or more minutes, so be prepared to take what they have left and don't expect an apology or any thought that they're sorry for being unable to keep the kitchen stocked. I guess Floyd really is a pig.
(1)David R.
Friendly staff, quick service and awesome food! I had the ribs with rice & beans and fried yuca.
(5)Danielle R.
the corn on the cob was absolutely amazing, but my roasted chicken was so dry i just cant rate this place better than 3 stars
(3)Maria D.
I have been to the place a couple of times. Have friends that have gone there that told me they didn't care for the place and have read the reviews and saw that they were all over the place so thought I would give it more than one chance to win me over. I honestly really wanted to like it, but just don't and will be doing as others I know and won't be going back. The customer service here is not good, with a couple of exceptions. Waitresses will walk by you and just ignore you completely as if you don't exist. Not even a smile, nothing. The line to order...omg!, just awful! The wait time to place your order is over 30 minutes even when the line is not long, just ridiculous. And then you will have to wait another 30-45 plus minutes to have your food delivered and it will not be hot, it will be room temperature. Both times I have went there with a couple of other friends. Not once has the food been brought to our table all at same time, they have been brought one by one with quite a few minutes in between. When I go out with friends I like to eat at the same time with them, not have us each eating at different times! Food needs to all be brought out at same time! The first time I went I asked the server why they were delivering our food in intervals and not all together at same time and was told "it's just the way we do it since we have to cook it". Really?? hmm...I thought all restaurants cook their food and they always seem to be able to time the delivery of the food perfectly so that everyone at the table get the food at the same time. Guess Pig Floyd's thinks this is a horrible thing and prefers to have one person eat while the others sit and watch. The place itself is nice and the patio outside is a good touch. The food is good, not great, but good. But honestly, I don't go to a place just for food, I go for the whole experience and Pig Floyd's has not delivered a good experience on any of the times I went. And honestly, the attitude of the people at the place hammers the point that they just don't care. So since they don't care, I will go to spend my money at a place that does care and where I can get great food with a great experience.
(1)Natalie P.
I have been to Pig Floyd's twice this week and I can't say enough about how nice the staff is, how amazing the beer list is and how great the food it. My only teeny-tiny complaint is how fatty the brisket is, but I get that its for the flavor, I'm just not a huge fan of big fatty chunks. The cheesesteak is amazing, and the pimento cheese spread is heaven on earth. Welcome to the neighborhood Pig Floyd's!
(4)Oc D.
I truly enjoy the food here a LOT. I've been trying to eat less meat but since this opened I've had a hard time doing so. After sampling a good portion of the menu, my favorite has to be the Barbakoa Bahn-Mi with fried yucca on the side. The other menu items are excellent as well, but they really nailed the Bahn-Mi. Along with great food, they really care about how much you're enjoying it, the service is excellent. It's a walk up and order style restaurant but the servers are very attentive and polite. Awesome job guys!
(5)David Z.
Had the special 2 tacos and a side. The butter chicken taco was incredible and the pork belly taco was very flavorful. May go back for dinner to try one of the platters.

Lots of anticipation surrounding this place since the only viable BBQ in Orlando is at 4 Rivers. The atmosphere is modern and trendy with a patio that can be utilized in the unlikely event the heat and humidity don't prevent you from sitting outside. The staple was supposedly the Pig Floyd Sandwich and it fell well short of expectation. The sandwich has sausage, brisket, and pulled pork with a sweet Asian slaw and fries on a roll. I rarely order conglomerate sandwiches because they never work. This was no exception. The taste of the slaw, fries and nondescript bun mask the taste of the scarce meat. I had to pull the meat out to taste it or to see it because it wasn't piled high. The sausage lacked flavor while the other two meats were good, but did not stand out. The ribs were the best I have had in Central Florida, with great texture and the right consistency of smoke. Here are the things that I found problematic: 1) lousy sweat tea (possible Tetley or Lipton) 2) bizarre sides 3) unavailability of sauces. The fries are good but who wants yucca, plantains or mixed vegetables with BBQ? Where are the collards or baked beans or macaroni and cheese? True BBQ eaters don't want she she sides. They give you about a 2oz side of sauce with your order and you constantly have to bug a staff member to get more sauce. As a result, you wind up eating the food dryer than you would have liked if the sauces are in bottles on the tables like in almost all BBQ joints. If this is a cost cutting measure it's a shame because it is quite annoying. The same hassle and gamesmanship is played with ketchup. They seem to have lots of funky stuff foreign to BBQ like tacos. I am not a huge fan of combined concepts; whenever I see a Chinese/Japanese or a Vietnamese/thai or the like I run. As they say, jack of all trades master of none. BBQ is best served simple with an emphasis on the meat and lots of it. In that regard Pig Floyd's falls short. If it weren't for the ribs I probably wouldn't be back.
(3)Reed A.
The food is really good if you like BBQ, but nothing too amazing, except the ribs. The ribs are several of the best I've ever had, while the brisket is good, and the tacos are alright. They COULD have gotten 4 or even 5 stars, but alas, every single time I have gone (5 times) the service has been TERRIBLE. This 90% the management's fault, and some of the employees seem like they know how bad the management is. But I mean BAD. Managers being disrespectful, making jokes at customers expense, talking and not engaging with customers waiting MG at the register etc.... I even had a rusty salt shaker with rusty salt at my table, and used it unknowningly. When I told the management they just took the salt and didn't bring a new one, nor offer to give me new food. And the prices are way yo-yo too high for the food....cmon, who are you fooling? Portions are not hardy! Not this Hispanic guy from the South. I know tacos and BBQ and even w hen they're good they ain't this expensive.
(2)Shana L.
First time yelping!! This place is delicious! I usually go to four rivers but since moving to this neighborhood I decided to try something closer. This place will not disappoint!! Try the ribs! Yummy!
(5)Mike H.
Shrimp and chorizo taco was mediocre at best. The mills cheesesteak will change your freaking life! Oversized portion of juicy brisket piled high! The savory homemade pimento cheese is slathered all over the hoagie roll and its topped with sautéed peppers. I will def be back
(4)Jon L.
I'm a BBQ junkie. And with BBQ junkies, I definitely have my biases and high expectations of what good 'cue is. I'll admit that. A friend of mine wanted to meet up and grab a bite and suggested Pig Floyd's since it was pretty close to where we were. Knowing that I was like most BBQ junkies, this friend was hesitant in recommending this place. But they seemed pretty confident that this food would hold it's own against the pantheon of BBQ joints I have in my mind. There were parking spots... but none were open to park in. In my mind, that either means that this place is all hype like some other BBQ places but in actuality kinda sucks (*ahem* 4rivers) or they actually put out good BBQ. I'm pleased to say that Pig Floyd's actually does pretty good BBQ. Definitely not one particular style as the flavors pull from different influences. The flavors were there and the meat succulent. Sides complimented the meat well and I kept wanting more. Staff were helpful and made some pretty good recommendations for the first time visitor. Check it out if you get a chance.
(5)Sierra A.
Soooooo yummy. Had the chicken tacos and 1/2 chicken, rice, black beans, plantains, corn, and fennel salad. All amazing!
(5)Barry C.
Let me just start by saying wow! What a let down this place was. I read some of the reviews for this place and I just don't get it. My wife and I decided to ride bikes over to Pig Floyds one night a little while back for dinner. We really love trying new places out and being huge fans of 4 Rivers we just knew this place was gonna be awesome! Ha! It was around 8pm or so and not too busy at all. We got in line behind about 5 people and when we got up to the register we asked for some recommendations from the young kid working there. He said "Everything here is amazing really" and we became more excited and ordered some tacos, corn, pulled pork, etc...(you know how we do.lol). We go back outside to sit and wait for our food. So, all the empty tables were wet from either spilled beverages, condensation from which or who knows(no rain that day) and pretty dirty with food particles, bbq sauce and such. We figured okay, maybe they just had their dinner pop and they were going be out to clean the place up since it was plenty slow enough. We sat at a table and waited for a server to come and clean it up. A couple employees were kinda wandering around but not doing anything. One of them walked up to our table and looked at us and then our table and walked back inside to never return. When our food arrived they still did not clean our table. Unbelievable...but we have dealt with crappy service before and we are all about some delicious food anyways so we dismissed the terrible service. Being as honest as I always am I can say the food was not terrible...well, mostly not terrible. It was completely sub par at best. A tall gentleman came out and asked us how everything was and we said it was pretty good. I mentioned that neither of us were able to located any apple or fennel in the slaw. We were certain of this and he looked quite perplexed. He said "Wow, I really can't belive that. It seems kinda crazy to me". He then offers to bring us a side of the slaw and asked us to try it while he stands over us waiting for our approval. He brings us the same slaw we just had which really seemed to be nothing more than straight cabbage and a watered down dressing with NO apple and NO Fennel or ANY seasoning for that matter. When we looked up at him and politely suggested adding just a bit more seasoning and more apple and fennel. Now the guy just looks pissed. All we wanted in our Apple Fennel Slaw was some apple and fennel and we were so very nice about offering our constructive criticism. I don't know if we have ever felt so uncomfortable in any restaurant anywhere. The rest of the food was overpriced for the portion sizes. The pork was extremely dry and the corn was bland as can be. The only thing that was descent was the Yucca fries but nothing to write home about for gods sake. Now every place has their off days and what not but the way we were treated was absolutely ridiculous. If the manager(or whoever he was) had not been such an absolute dick to us we would have given this place a second try but no thank you. The worst part about this place is they have four stars because it IS a hipster hangout and they do not mind overpaying to get overpriced, under seasoned, dried up crap . Sorry we are not part of the elite hipster movement. Keep it. Do yourself a favor and cruise on over to Winter Park and hit up 4 Rivers...BBQ and sides that are done right in a realistic atmosphere. Pig Floyds...clever name...that's about it.
(1)Zane V.
Heard a lot about this place so I was super anxious to try their BBQ. The decor and overall layout of the restaurant is really nice. The patio seating gives this place a plus. I tried The Big Floyd and after my first bite all my desires to eat at this place rapidly dwindled. The brisket was dry and flaky, the pulled pork was so dry that it clumped together like a solid brick of swine. To make the sandwich worse, the taste of liquid smoke was so strong it overwhelmed the bad taste of the meat. Not impressed.
(3)Amanda F.
Pig Floyd is a constant reminder of how much #orlandodoesntsuck. It's barbecue at it's finest. This time around we had the Barbakoa Banh Mi, it was delicious, moist, and my boyfriend was so focused on the greatness of it, that we barely spoke. I had the butter chicken taco, which does not disappoint, and their beautiful corn on the side. However, the star of my meal was the shrimp and sausage taco. This is easily my favorite thing on the menu and I'm disappointed that I just found that out. It's sweet, yet flavorful, and I couldn't get enough of it. I love everything about Pig Floyd's and I can't wait to go back.
(5)Randolph Z.
Four stars about does it for me. The food is incredible. Some moreso than others. Eat a butter chicken taco. Holy Moses, are they wonderful. There is, of course, ham scorched, unscorched, sandwiched, marinated, intubated, flabbergasting us all with its amazingness. It's enough to make the sons of Noah sink in teeth, honoring their brother's namesake while salivating through the longest of beards. There was one miss, and that was the fennel salad. Not that it was bad, per se, and yeah, it only cost $2.50 or so, but the amount served was equivalent to ~1/3 cup, and wasn't all that good. A friend received poor service here; I did not. Everything was fast despite the line, and had that saccharine-smiley friendliness that has become the norm in our jobless economic recovery. Oh, also, fries. Ten stars for those. I do wish there was more mayonnaise for the dipping. There probably was, but sauces are sequestered to the back. That's probably so that you don't as much taint the artisanal mastery of meat and bread that is Floyd's. I really enjoyed the interior of the building, too. As with many things Orlando, it was brand-new. Could've used more bathroom space. ADJECTIVE TIME! New. Trendy. Spendy. Loud. Meaty. Flavorful.
(4)Ray C.
I really wanted to like this place honestly. .my major compliant is the customer service it took about 35 mins to get our food and there were only 2 other tables totaling 6 people. While we sat and waited for our food the waitress came over and realized that we had not gotten our food yet. She goes back and asks about our ticket number 178 and the kitchen seems shocked. So another 6 mins later and our food comes. I got the mills 50 cheesesteak with a side of plantains. It looked delicious but once i took a couple bites i realized it was mostly fat and very little meat coupled with your basic Italian roll. The meat was flavorless and scarce. Only reason i would suggest this place would be for the sides. .. plantains were good and black beans and rice were good. Nothing to write home about. I truly hate giving 1 star reviews, so i tried to find something nice to write about this place....go to 4 rivers down the road. ..
(1)Andrew C.
Seriously good food! If you want an amazing spin on tacos, you have got to come here. A+
(5)Gordon S.
So glad to have an awesome BBQ joint in the neighborhood. The brisket is near perfect. The only disappointing item was chicken which was more like a crock pot curry than BBQ.
(4)Sebastian C.
2nd visit here. Last time I gave it 4 stars due to the brisket being dryer than 4 rivers. This time I give them a 5 star as they had it spot on. Well done guys delicious meal.
(5)Jill J.
have been putting off this review and i am not sure why....bc i really dig this place! i will preface this by saying that i usually have to be in the mood for bbq, and that mood doesn't strike often. but this place, i could eat weekly! it's lovely to go to a bbq joint that isn't the standard. i would come here over 4 rivers all day long. and now the food....which is AWESOME. i think i could go and just eat a bunch of their sides and be happy. bbq, without the traditional bbq sides. i am not much for mac and cheese and baked beans and stuff...so definitely love the spin that pig floyd's has put on the menu. the yucca fries are crazy good with an awesome sauce, and their plantains are legit. their tacos are all super tasty, and i will definitely keep coming back for them. i also appreciate that they offer like 6 sauce options for the meats. on my first visit the owner was there and very hands on with the customers. coming around, asking about the food and generally bringing a positive vibe to our dining experience. and, he was super hilarous...which i always enjoy in people.
(4)Clara S.
OH MY GOD,.. each time I go I am overwhelmed by Bar B Que wonderfullness (is that a word ?? it is now for this place!). It is a little like counter service, but they bring your food to your table and refill drink orders from there too. I have been here a few times by now and I am never dissappointed. I have been there when the line is out the door and when there hasn't been a line. Don't go and reserve tables while you wait in line,.. it isn't the acceptable practice. Believe in the fact that a table will be open for you when you are ready to sit,.. I have been to many places like this and amazingly it works!! GO!!
(5)Tiffany B.
My first visit to Pig Floyd's was the day they opened their doors. I loved the food that day and happy to say I felt the same way weeks later. The menu has changed a bit but that is to be expected. I was disappointed that the African chicken sausage and shrimp platter was removed. However I did see some interesting new offerings. At first I was worried because I don't eat pork. However I was quickly reassured that I could substitute chicken on any sandwich. I went with the Mills 50 cheesesteak with chicken and a side of yuca fries. I could go on about how amazing these fries are but you really just need to go try them yourself. The sandwich was packed full of chicken, onions and peppers. Replacing the gooey cheese normally used in a cheesesteak was a pimento cheese spread. Absolutely delicious. The staff was helpful and was on top of replenishing our waters and clearing the table. I'm sad that we've moved out of the neighborhood but will enjoy visiting to get some Pig Floyd's.
(5)Jackie M.
Delicious! ribs- meaty succulent and smoked to perfection. Chicken - awesome. Sides ... corn on the cob, fried Yuca and white rice and black beans. I can't complain at all. It was great!
(5)Chris O.
Great food. The meat is perfectly seasoned and has a nice flavor. I love the plantains and the corn on the cob.
(5)Jo A.
I had the chicken platter. The chicken was wonderful with a subtle sauce. The sides I choose were the grilled corn and plantains. I would not order the plantains again because they tasted like there was sugar added. Plantains are plenty sweet enough for me and the sugar crystals detract from the texture. The corn is great with the crumbled cheese and herb but I would ask them not to add the buttery coating. Again, I would prefer to taste the natural flavor of the corn. I would try this place again but with requests for more information about their cook
(3)John S.
Wife and I has the usual, ribs for me, chicken for her. We thought the food was every bit as good as 4 rivers, without the wait. We like the choices for sides. She had the apple fennel slaw and I had the fried yuca. This is great take on souther BBQ, going to South America for some inspiration. We did takeout. Called ahead and it was ready when we go there about 5pm on a Saturday. Great place and we'll be back for more!
(4)Carly R.
Our first time trying Pig Floyd's was a few months ago, and to be honest, my husband and I weren't that impressed- we both ordered sandwiches that were just OK. HOWEVER- the next time we went back, we went with the platters- and trust me, that's the way to go. The pulled pork and beef brisket combo is awesome (dare I say better than 4Rivers), and you get two sides with it- we've tried them all, and we particularly love the fennel slaw, plantains, and the rice and beans (best I've ever had). Throw in the Sweet BBQ Sauce and Fancy Sauce, and you've got an amazing meal. We get take-out from them at least once a week now. Highly recommend!
(5)Matt M.
Tacos were amazing. Butter chicken tastes like it came straight from the tandoori oven. Served with rice and pepitas it was my favorite. Shrimp and chorizo also delicious, as was the smoked brisket with tangy slaw. Can't wait to come back and try more.
(5)Lauren H.
The line was out the door when I arrived at 8 PM on a Saturday! They even had large groups of people there. So that says a lot. My friend and I ordered the half chicken with fries and a cob. It was TO DIE FOR. I'm serious. The chicken was roasted to perfection, and seasoned perfectly. The fries were absorbing the juices from my chicken which made them super tasty. And the cob had been grilled and seasoned with Parmesan. I had sweet bbq and tiki sauce on the side. Perfect flavor combination. Service was excellent too! I cannot wait to go back. You must try this place!

Well, folks, I went back for lunch. Earlier this time. And I have to say I'm impressed. I had to update my review. I had the fatty brisket and a side of the apple fennel slaw. The sweet tea (again). And the banana pudding dessert thing. The meat was perfectly smoky and fall-apart delicious. I didn't even need my knife it was that tender. Also, for those of you who don't know, fatty doesn't mean fat. The fat gives the meat its flavor. And I really liked that they asked me whether I wanted lean or fatty brisket. I asked for the sweet sauce AND the spicy sauce. They're both made fresh in-house. The spicy had a nice chipotle pepper kick with more sweet heat so I preferred that one to the sweet sauce. I'm a fan of the sauces for sure and hope they'll start selling them soon. The sweet tea has nearly 18 cups of sugar. It's perfectly sweet now. A southerner's dream. Just remember to call your dentist for an appointment if you have more than one glass. OK, the apple fennel slaw. Just cover me up and bury me in this stuff. I could probably eat this at every meal, each day for the rest of my life. Go get some of this now. It's lightly creamy and has that rewarding fresh, crispy crunch of cabbage and fennel. Just yes. The banana pudding was good. But after that sweet tea, it may have been too much. I like the condensed milk thickness and who doesn't love 'Nilla wafers. A good solid choice if you're not in the mood for chocolate. I'll be back for sure. The service is better. The chef is skilled. The owner is passionate. I want this one to survive. So definitely give it a try. Now, cover me in slaw.

Went to lunch with my best friend and we loved this cute place. Got a nice lunch special with their tacos. I got their (Butter Chicken Tacos) spiced chicken Tikka, jalapeños, cilantro, Greek yogurt, + jasmine rice. Very flavorful. Would definitely come back to enjoy tasting the rest of the menu.

I was so excited to try this place but little disappointed my bahn mi bread was not toasted. Booo!!! The grilled corn was to die for. Yummmiii. The shrimp and sausage tacos was good not great! My fries seem to have sugar and salt in them. Ummmm?! It's not supposed to but the manager didn't fix it for me or try to see if the cooks mistakenly mixed it up but over all it's ok.

Good food, good people...not my favorite. Keeping it brief, I like the restaurant as a whole, but I wasn't feeling the fusion as presented. I think a build your own option with a rotating list of ingredients (on the menu) would go a long way towards fixing it in my eyes. Also, I would suggest platters that 2 people can share. I was with my 10 y/o daughter at a recent lunch and all she really liked was the pork. I bought a pulled pork platter for us to share with some sides but it wasn't quite enough meat. I wouldn't mind spending a few dollars more next time to have enough for both of us (I didn't really want to spend another $12 for a second platter). I'll come back, but honestly I was hoping for less fusion, more straight forward meat/grilled items.

This place has a great menu. Great service and unique menu items. It is so hard to find good barbecue that doesn't taste solely like BBQ sauce!

I went in two days in a row to specifically order the La Vaca Tahkaw, and it was sold out both times. Very disappointing. They should do a better job of stocking or prepping food.

Tried this place on a whim on NYE. You have to wait in line to order. The decor is nice. The Staff is awesome and very helpful. I hope they never lose their enthusiasm. I ordered the Butter Chicken Taco and the Pastor Chicken Taco, both were unique and delicious. We also ordered the plantains and got a little shorted, the server said he would bring us more, but never did. We didn't ask for anymore plantains, so it wasn't terrible that they forgot. However, the plantains were delicious! I also ordered the corn which is served in a sauce with parmesan. My corn was soaked in the sauce and very small, but my fiance's was a big and was better than mine. I tried to steal it! I also ordered an Icelandic beer which was unique and tasty. The owner came by to say hello and we learned that he is Puerto Rican. Overall, this place is great and I will be back again to try the chicken.
(4)Paul D.
Its excellent! And reasonably priced. I got the Big Floyd sandwich with a side of roasted corn and both were delicious. Steve had the Mills 50 sandwich with fries. The fries were nice and crisp, and the sandwich also delish. For dessert (which we rarely order) i got the Black and Tan, and Steve got the Banana Pudding, both excellent! They have both draft and bottle beers, and several wines. We WILL be back, it will be soon, and possibly tomorrow! (They have tacos and platters we must try!)
(5)Jamie K.
ON.POINT. This place is nothing short of amazing. The food is truly unique, complimenting flavors of eclectic BBQ. I got the Shrimp and Sausage Taco and Pork Belly Taco, loved them both. The atmosphere is also great; It has a trendy, farm chic vibe. It has a local dive-y feel. There's so many great things on the menu, can't rave about it enough! Great craft beers as well. Totally go here.
(5)Dane W.
Good stuff. Tacos are the thing to order. Chicken tikka and al pastor were on point. The Matahambre sandwich was awesome but messy. It ended up being eaten with a knife and fork. The black beans and rice might be the best I've ever had this side of the Gulf of Mexico--seriously it's uncanny. Staff is absolutely great, and though small inside, it's still comfortable. For fans of: 4 Rivers, Smiling Bison, creative barbeque
(5)Cassidy L.
The yuca is amazing!!! If you love yuca, you definitely have to try it here! Love the fusion concept! I had the tikka masala and al pastor tacos. Both came out hot and delicious! Definitely will come back...the good news is that their menu also has many gluten free options.
(4)Gregg H.
Grwat lunch spot. It reminds me of NY with the craft beer selection and this is so much more than a BBQ restaurant. I tried the Pig Floyd and the yucca. I wasnt sure what to order and this seemed like a good place to start. Large Hawaiian type roll tender beef brisket( a little fatty on the sandwich but you can trim it off) pulled pork and smoked sausage. The real seller were the two sauces on the side a sweet bbq and a zingy creamy sauce.Topped with apple fennel slaw which I really liked but ate separately. I had yucca on the side and it was so much better than any i have tried. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
(5)Eric W.
Highly recommend going here! Food is awesome and service is great!!! Look through the pictures, it even taste better than it looks and it looks great!
(5)Todd W.
Finally tried this place tonight... Loved it! Relaxed atmosphere and on a Friday eve somewhat crowded... Ordered food at counter to be delivered to table. I went with pulled pork/ brisket combo...yucca fries and French fries for my sides. Was asked if I wanted sweet or spicy BBQ sauce ...I said both ( ; and to be honest what made me was the sauces... I found both to be a little more complex than your average BBQ sauce. Delightful. Yucca fries were perfectly crispy yet tender...brisket maybe a little fatty but both meats were tender and delicious. Excited about a newer BBQ place in my hood...I won't lie ... I do Smokey Bones often outta convenience, but with places like this one have no excuse! I would definitely try again
(4)Chris G.
The food here was simply amazing. I would say it rivals with any BBQ in the Orlando area including 4 Rivers. Both the pulled pork and the brisket were delicious, very tender. The fried plantains were a great side and I would recommend them to anyone that visits. A pretty decent beer selection for a small BBQ joint as well. The only drawback for me was if you are trying to eat inside, it is extremely loud. Something about the building just causes sound to amplify, we ended up sitting outside in the cold instead of staying inside.

I ate here three times in one week. I guess you could say that I freaking love this place. The food (ultimately why I came) was delicious. I've had everything from all of their tacos to their brisket platter, to all of the sides and even their Big Pig but with tofu (I know, I know, the horror! But guess what? It was really friggin' delicious). The place is a chill spot, good music, nice ambiance and energy. The line to order goes fast and you get your food fairly quickly. They offer beer and wine if you enjoy throwing back a nice wine or beer while noshing on delicious bbq. The owner, Thomas (or Tomas) , was really friendly and hands on. He went to each table to make sure everyone was satisfied with their meal and experience and I just thought that was really nice and refreshing to see. This is a bomb-ass and great addition to the Mills area! PS: I'll be back this weekend as I have a friend visiting and she needs to try this place. Or at least that's the excuse I'm using.
(5)Vaughn B.
Had a great time here for lunch a few weeks ago and just now getting around to review. I'm not a super fan of hipster type places in general but this place gets a pass. The corn on the cob alone makes me not mind my distaste for the band it's named after. The chicken was amazingly tender and portion was huge. Service was wonderful and atmosphere very clean and inviting. We will for sure be back.
(4)Leah H.
Mmmm this place is so good! I've stopped by Pig Floyd's a few times now and have never been disappointed. Located on Mills, Pig Floyds takes a fun twist on traditional BBQ with Asian influences. I personally, really dig the Barbakoa Bahn Mi. This sandwich is HUGE and absolutely delicious. The barbakoa is incredibly flavorful and topped with fresh pickled veggies and super-thinly shaved jalapenos, all with some sauce I could probably drink with a straw (if it was socially acceptable). I've also sampled the ribs, corn, and several tacos- all super tasty. Even though you order at the counter, I've always had great service from the Pig Floyd's staff. They were incredibly attentive with checking in on us, drink refills, and just making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Overall, I am so pleased with Pig Floyd's. They are a great addition to the neighborhood.
(5)Andrea C.
Yum yum yum!!! This place was such a great find!! Definitely try to go early or during the week because the inside is small and I could totally imagine being left without a table. They have a nice patio area, but it was freezing out so that wasn't really an option for us on the night we visited. I'm pretty sure the owner was out on the floor cleaning tables and making sure everyone was happy, which was absolutely amazing! We ordered the chicken butter and pork belly tacos, the chili and the bahn mi! Wow wow wow! Everything was fresh, flavorful and just wonderful. The chicken butter taco is a huge favorite on reviews, but just a warning, that it has a really sweet curry/coconut flavor. I thought it was delicious, but my husband isn't really a fan of the sweetness so just keep it in mind for different taste preferences. It looks like parking may be an issue during more crowded times so again, another great reason to go early or on a weekday. Either way you WONT be disappointed!!!
(5)Sarah K.
I have come here a few times and the food is fabulous. I honestly believe the ribs are the best in Orlando, they are true smoked ribs. The service gets a little crazy during peak hours but the staff has always been very hospitable and accommodating when this has happened. I do recommend going during off hours for a late lunch or early dinner to beat the madness (and potentially missing out on local favorites that sell out).
(4)Jenna C.
This place is AMAZING!!!!!!!! The owner is wonderful and the food is always on point. The ribs and pulled pork are my favorite! The menu is GF friendly and you will have plenty of options. Everyone should check this place out if you haven't already.
(5)A S.
Doesn't want to make you slap your momma BUT it's good! Really excited about the grilled corn and it didn't disappoint. Picked a nice table outside and enjoyed the street sounds on a nice Friday evening. The parking is limited since it's near the winery but we found a space on the street quickly. I would recommend it for a nice lunch with a friend or weekend dinner date. Coming back to try the cheese steak sandwich and yucca...SN: the menu is not very big.
(4)Taylor L.
We found Pig Floyd's by accident after the restaurant we planned to eat at was closed for the 4th, and we are so glad we did! This is definitely a place we will visit over and over - even though we live 3 hours away! Constant line, but the service was quick. The shrimp & sausage taco - life changing! Try Pig Floyd's soon!
(5)Miguel S.
Thank you Yelp for recommending this place. I was really skeptical because I really love BBQ and I could be really picky about it and I was not expecting to be this good. So first of all; the parking lot is tiny so that could be an issue if you arrive on lunch and dinner time; I was lucky to show up around 4pm and it was pretty empty. The first thing you will notice is the smell coming out of the smokers; then you know that something good will come. My mouth was watering while I was walking to the ordering counter. And yes; there's a counter were you order your food; then you pay and then you get a number and they will bring you your food. There's three main groups of food that you could choose for: sandwiches; tacos and platters. I chose the 2 meat platter ( brisket and pulled pork) and got a nice cider from the beer and cider menu; they have a great selection of beers on tap and bottles. The sides are amazing; Most of them are Hispanic-influenced; I chose the rice and beans and fried yuca. Delicious! Going back to the BBQ; I have to say that the pulled pork was so damn tender, also flavorful and super moist. I love the simple industrial type decor; with some hipster hints like mason jars for my beer. You should try this place. You won't be disappointed
(5)Katie O.
The tacos are very good and the meats are flavored just right, but I asked for no onions and it almost seemed like I got extra onions.
(3)Carlos M.
Get the Big Floyd! This is the best BBQ I have had Thus far in Orlando. The menu is pretty straightforward. You can choose either a traditional BBQ plate or one of their sandwiches or Tacos. Their plantains were great as well as the chimichurri. The atmosphere is cool. Some tv's playin ESPN and a decent beer selection. I'd definitely come here again!
(5)Ashley M.
I'll give this restaurant a four because of my husband. He loves the meat platter here and he likes the fried yuca when he never has before. I like the tacos and can be filled on two of them. I just don't feel the WOW. I'm still pretty loyal to 4Rivers, but my husband favors this location. It is pretty close, to the same concept as you order at the counter and bring it to your table. They just seemed kind of annoyed where we needed to put tables together outside for a larger group. We also hated the music choices. Didn't fit with the theme.
(4)Lisa K.
Awesome food....reasonably priced for really good quality and an inventive menu. Really pleasant staff, clean, nice decor. Impressed my brother who's an amazing chef himself. Brisket was melt in your mouth tender and the Butter Chicken tacos were my fave hands down!!
(5)Kristen L.
Was super excited about this place but kind of fell flat. Food is lack luster. Bigger problem is their inability to service those with food allergies. Ordered a few things after checking ingredients and was promised there was no dairy but upon delivery of food, there was cheese all over the tacos. Owner assured me other taco was fine but ran back a few minutes later saying there was dairy in my other taco as well. High hopes but not sure I will go back.
(3)Chris L.
This place has really good bbq. Don't let the hip new urban decor fool you. These people know how to smoke some meat. The pulled pork always comes with a lot of fatty skin stuff that is f'n delicious, the brisket is melt in the mouth. The fried yuca is the best I've had and that's saying something in a town full of lechoneras. Probably a fun spot for a first date. Wholeheartedly recommended.
(5)Jessilyn P.
Oh my God! I love this place! I love how they incorporate food from different regions. They had Korean food, American barbecue food, Spanish food, and delicious food. I love the vibe and how eclectic it is. It really was a much needed barbecue venue in Orlando.
(5)Candice M.
I am afraid to review this Pig Floyds because I don't want it to get busier than it already is. The brisket is better than ANYWHERE in Orlando. The corn is ridiculously good and I don't even like corn. Every single thing on the menu is delicious, just be prepared to wait as the line gets long.
(5)Selina C.
Delicious again! The best time to go is around ish during the week. It's not crazy busy then like it usually is.
(5)Georgina G.
Had each of the tacos and the grilled corn on the cob. Liked all of it but the Butter Chicken taco and the Shrimp and Sausage taco were my favorite. Next favorite was the Pork Belly, then the Chicken Al Pastor and I don't remember what the 5th one was. The corn was good too but wished there was more cotija cheese on it! The place is really cute inside and there was a steady stream of customers coming in while we were there. I was happy to see that there are so many fans of this place as I think they have some delicious food and would hate for them to go out of business. We were checked on by at least 3 people while we ate and the owner even came by to clean up our table. This surprised us because she was with her family dining at the bar in plain clothes and I guess she noticed we were done so she came by and picked up our plates. That was a nice touch and shows the owners/managers care. Will definitely be back again.
(4)Leila M.
Holy Schmoly!! This bbq is scrumdiliumptious!!! We went on a week day around 2pm so the wait wasn't long at all. Jim was behind the counter & was incredibly helpful. FYI.... he also works at the Winter Park Cheesecake Factory & is an excellent waiter there!! This was our first visit. I tried the pork belly taco, tikka massala taco, & an incredibly delicious piece of corn on the cob that was "decorated" with Mexican-style seasoning & crumbled white cheese. It was so difficult to pick a fav on my plate, but I have to say I could easily order 5 ears of corn for my next meal. My honey ordered the pulled pork & the brisket with black beans with rice. He liked everything but said he wished there was the more "traditional" bbq beans & maybe cornbread. All in all..... we will still come back because the food was phenomenal, & the service was great.

Love the Asian Latin BBQ flavors ...but it's not for everyone. Prices on the highish side with portions on the lowish side. Two of us ordered brisket and pork 2 meat combos and both were left wondering where the pork was or went or if we even ordered pork at all. Maybe they're going for 80s nouvelle minimalism or Floyd's was just running out of pork that night and spreading it thin. Who knows but that combo with a drink and tip will kill a $20 bill and for that you shouldn't be feeling wanting or asking questions. I liked the tacos but should have ordered three, they're small. Wonderful fusion flavors there and the beans and rice were nice. We all liked the brisket but it was a bit fatty, have to say. Otherwise, it boasted a really nice smoke ring and really nice smooth, mild smokey flavor. Very tender too and the barbeque sauce seemed original and tops in flavor. Maybe they par cook quasi smoke their brisket but I never seem to have that much fat when I do it at home. My paleo-type table mates of more conventional BBQ liking didn't like the fusion menu or the slaw or the tortillas that came with the combo. Both were under the false impression you get two sides plus the tortillas and both felt roped into getting just one side and slaw - which we were later told by the waitstaff is really just a garnish, not a side. Anyhow, they would have been happier choosing their own two sides and having a sub or Hawaiian roll in lieu of the tortillas. That's how square types should like order it, I think. Excellent, very attentive and highly involved staff. There's been a wait each time we've been but it moves right along and we've always been able to get a table. Street parking's not a problem. Maybe it's a question of high quality versus value but I've been living in the Mills50/ViMi District for years. With this newest wave of openings, including this one, we're seeing prices creep up. Say for example, you can very easily find Bahn Mi sandwiches at any one of a number of places within walking distance for half the price if you just look.
(3)Gillarie A.
Good for Latin bbq. Had the brisket sandwich and plantains. There is not a lot of bbq in Orlando so this was better than 4 rivers!
(3)Delany D.
I am crazy about Pig Floyd's. They have superbly cooked meats served up with fabulous side dishes with a really great fusion of American BBQ, Latin American flavors, and an Asian flair. Amazing food. 4 stars instead of 5 only because I don't love _everything_ on the menu (I did not love the tacos), but this is one of my two or three favorite places to dine out and take visitors to in Orlando.
(4)Howard W.
Well.......time for me to eat crow! Got to say this is a conscientious owner and independent business competing against big chains with big money all around trying to get your dining dollar. I previously posted a hasty opinion based on my taste and that was not fair to this business and it is now regretted. I am all about independent businesses and wishing them "sincere" thoughts of success! I apologize and you could get confused by not reading yelp reviews while making the decision to dine.
(4)Kathy G.
5 of us ate here and all of us were happy, everything was great from the pork to the plantains, it may have been a first that no one had any complaint about the food. Full 5 stars, we will be back many times!
(5)Charlie L.
Awesome food with inventive flavor combinations and a unique menu. The butter chicken taco is my favorite. The restaurant is clean and the service is fantastic. My water was never less than two-thirds empty. I can't wait to go back and try more menu items
(5)Christine M.
I was expecting BBQ but it turned out to be a Cuban/BBQ place-yum! I tried the butter chicken, sausage and shrimp, and brisket tacos. Wish they trimmed the day off the brisket but otherwise, all were tasty. Dad had the pork and brisket plate with plentiful sides of rice and black beans and the plantains. It was enough for two meals for me. Had to try the Cuban banana pudding too and it was very good and not a far stretch from the original. Beers and wines on the menu and quieter outdoor patio seating. I'll definitely come back!
(4)Randy G.
Loved it, fun atmosphere and cool staff. Gotta love the choices, a highly addictive blend of flavors!
(4)Stephen T.
This place is awesome. I will be going back. I highly suggest the matahambre aka "hunger killer". The brisket that came on the open face sandwich was cooked perfectly, actully the best I'm Orlando. I got the grilled corn as a side which was delicious but the French fries were also amazing. The atmosphere was modern and there was a big patio outside. Pig Floyd's is original and a must try.
(5)Jennifer M.
Right off the bat- their ribs are to DIE for. I'm not one to go to a BBQ place and order them, but I do here (if they aren't out of them yet)! The portions are big and hearty...but even if you don't want a lot of food, they have options for smaller tummies...like their delicious and original tacos. Latin/BBQ fusion is where it's at! I don't know how, but every time I come here the food gets better. They are constantly listening to their customers and welcome feedback. The first time I was here (shortly after they opened), I told our waiter that the sandwich bread (which used to be a hard French loaf) was pretty lackluster. Now, they serve a kick-butt Hawaiian roll that brings their sandwiches to a whole other level. Can't wait to go back!
(5)Ho L.
A good entrant in the local BBQ scene. Their menu could use more sandwiches, although I do like their taco options. Service is pretty fast, and the food was tasty. I'll probably return and give it another shot.
(3)Bradley M.
Great food. Always enjoy our meals. Good beer selection including crafts. Generous portions. One of our favorite places.
(4)Tu D.
Came here on a Sunday morning about 20 minutes after it opened. The smell of delicious bbq smoke just hits as you walk in. Ordered the half chicken with grilled veggies and Mexican corn. Chicken was delicious juicy not dry, veggies and corn was served hot not warm like other bbq places. I ordered the half rack of ribs but they weren't ready yet for a another half hour....so I waited and my god it was worth the wait. Good smoke ring sweet delicious sauce meat was juicy and tender.
(4)Jonathan L.
I hate to give this place only one star, but I was just very put off by what I experienced. I walked in behind a long line at 8:35 on a Sunday with my wife. We like to support local business and were stoked to give this place a try. When I got to the counter to order, I was greeted with "Sorry, do you mind taking your order to go? We close in 15 minutes." I told the dude that my wife and I wanted to sit down and have dinner (we're on our way somewhere and I'm not going to have BBQ while I drive). All he said was, "sorry man." So I said I was going to eat somewhere else, and I left. Not a huge deal, but to say that to new customer is very strange, especially since I'd think a new local business wants to get the word out as much as possible. I've worked in the service industry for years, and we seat every table that walks in until we close. How long did the guy think we'd sit there? I just wanted to try the food. Strange. Not going back.
(1)Drew H.
Food was outstanding. A really interesting take on bbq. Pretty good beer selection, and I got a kick out of the frosted mason jars. My only complain was the wait. Not sure if people are still learning the menu, so the my have lots of questions at the register or what, but we waiting a long time. Since the line was building up, it kind of rendered some of the inside seating useless (no fun sitting with people lined up all around you). So if they can do anything to speed up the line, that would put this place over the top. Will definitely be returning, since then food is so good. I just hope they get the wait thing sorted out.
(4)Christina C.
The reason I'm giving this quaint restaurant a five stars are: * the rice and black beans, the texture of the beans were good. The combination of the beans with the jasmine rice excellent. *The yuca fries tasted fresh not over fried. I was pleasantly surprised they where large enough that you can appreciate the flavor of the yuca * the spare ribs didn't taste like they were boiled then smoked. The meat was tender and flavorable. * I loved the cole slaw * brisket wasn't overly cooked making the meat very tender They need: sabroso Cafe con Leche y homemade flan
(5)Tommy D.
When we walked in it reminded me of the first time I went to 4 Rivers. It has a small inside seating area, and a outside one to match, which I thought was well decorated and very cozy. The 80's music was rocking all the right songs, and kept you tapping your feet while your waited, and the wait wasn't very long at all. The food was plated cleanly and very impressive, with a awesome presentation of all that you ordered. I had the 2 meat combo, that came with two tortillas, the black beans and rice, french fries, and a sample of both hot and sweet homemade sauces. The flavors were phenomenal, the meat cooked prefect, and fried were crispy and seasoned prefect. My wife ordered the 1/2 chicken with black beans and rice, and the smoked corn on the cob. The chicken continually flowed with juices every time she cut into it. This place is awesome, and I will be back for certain
(5)Kevin C.
This is the best restaurant I've been to in Orlando! Granted, I've only been here for a few months, but it was still amazing. I had the pulled pork platter with corn on the cob and fried plantains. The pulled pork was juicy and went perfectly in the tortilla wrap along with sweet bbq sauce. The corn on the cob was sweet with bits of cheese grated on top of it, and the plantains were just the way I like them. Nice and crispy, still a little sweet and not greasy at all. The layout was nice with a metal/industrial look to it, kind of like chipotle. Staff was friendly too. I'll definitely come back again!

Beef Brisket was invented by a juggler named Michael Davis in 1742. Beef brisket was reinvented and made delicious by Pg Floyd's I understand a bit more recently. Though I am no historian, or historically accurate, historically speaking this brisket is reminiscent (taste-wise) of a great barbecue place I went to once in Nashville, TN. We went to Pig Floyd's last night for the first time to have some dinner and I was blown away! I had the Mills50 Cheesesteak. Their brisket is so good! It has a delicious smokey flavor, is juicy, and has perfect texture - not too chewy or hard and not too soggy either. I was also impressed with their homemade pimento cheese. I wish I could describe the pimento cheese to you but if I did then you wouldn't have to go try it for yourself. Just do yourself a favor and go try the cheesesteak. It's not your typical cheesesteak. The portions were good and the fries were excellent and seasoned to perfection. They have other interesting things on their menu like tacos, platters, and some gluten free options. I am also intrigued by the Matahambre sandwich which I will more than likely try at my 2nd visit to Pig Floyd's. It's a pretty cool-looking place too with rustic design, metal seating and a cool (though small) bar. It's okay though because if you come here you're going for the brisket and not for the bar. However, in a nice Ball brand mason jar I did enjoy a Cigar City Maduro beer which they had on tap who's smokey hues went well with my smokey brisket. Oh I also want to mention they have a nice, spacious outdoor eating area but we didn't eat outside because we figured it was probably too cold for our baby (yes, this place is family friendly so it should get another star for that). So this place gets 5 stars from me for having amazing smokey brisket, a welcoming atmosphere, decent prices, beer, and an interesting menu with a range of choices that ignite my curiosity.
(5)Jae O.
Woah! That was sooo good. If you love meat and bbq, this place is a must. Would've given it five stars if it were more natural/organic friendly. Best fries in town so far :)
(4)Nicholas H.
Was super excited to try this place, and unfortunately, I left very disappointed. The creative menu initially impressed me and was what drew me in. The poor execution shows that they are lacking serious and honest feedback. For starters - the entire taco menu should be axed. I tried each one on the menu and they were served in cold with nasty flour tortillas. The tortillas were so thick, cold and chewy that they alone ruined any filling. The taco with sausage and shrimp was poorly conceived and the sauce really doesn't work with shrimp and sausage. The butter chicken taco was the only decent one I had but was so cold that it was more like leftover Indian food and didn't have a hint of spicy heat to it at all. The pork belly taco was ok but could use more seasoning and flavor to it. Pork belly is a really flavorful cut, but this was almost purposefully masked. My wife ordered the plain Jane sandwich and was moderately satisfied. The pork was rather dry (especially compared to bbq down the street at 4Rivers) and not enough sauce to moisten it. The side of sweet plantains was really the only high point. Most sweet plantains I have get the sweet flavor right but rarely do they have the crispy edges that Pig Floyds nailed. This review is meant not so much to be negative, as much as it is to be a wake up call to the restaurant to reevaluate some of your dishes and particularly to throw out every tortilla left in your pantry. Lastly, serve your food hot! Cold food sucks.
(1)Jackie C.
This place does fusion barbecue dishes, but it's cohesive and they really do it right. I've had the Banh mi, the Mills 50 Cheesesteak, and all of the tacos except for the barbakoa taco over the past few months since it's been open. All of those items are with trying, although the Banh mi and shrimp & sausage taco are my favorites because of the great balance of rich meat and fresh pickled veggies. The French fries and fried yucca are to die for, too.

First of all, the food is fantastic, everything else however, not so good. I have been there four times. Twice for lunch and twice for dinner. The ribs are worth the trip alone. They smoke them in a mix of oak and orange wood for 7 hours and they are absolutely the best in Orlando. I only gave the restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 because the service is consistently poor. Basically, you wait in line to order, they give you a number and eventually they bring the food to your table. The issue that I have had on 3 of 4 occasions, even when they weren't busy, was the lack of presence of a server. This food truck turned restaurant with a few tweaks and better attention to service could easily be one of the areas faves.

Outstanding food and a great vibe on the outdoor patio. Get the pork belly tacos and skip the brisket. There will be a line to order but they move it along quickly. The pro move is to get a beer while you wait in line. The craft beer program is excellent.
(5)Theresa L.
Fusion tacos don't get any better than this!
(5)Bob F.
Pig Floyds has a unique spin on Bbq, the taste is there, the sauce is good, the Ribs are spot on and the sides are very well done even the yucca which I don't like, it was pretty good. The combo plates or a be sandwich is the way to go, a good amount of food at a little bit above the Mills area hipster pricing. The Ribs may be the best in Orlando, a full slab is over $20 but if you don't have to share it is more than enough and super tender. I like this place, been there twice and both times the owner, a giant man, greeted everyone with a smile from above, give it a try
(4)Gary F.
Amazing mix of flavors from different nations, with a fantastic craft brew collection.
(5)Emily K.
This place is amazing. I've tried some of the tacos and the two-meat plate, and both are fantastic. The corn might have been my favorite - it has a nice smoky flavor and is delicious. The Cuban banana pudding is delicious as well. The place has a fun atmosphere and friendly staff. I will definitely come back.
(5)Mimi A.
Tried 3 out of the 4 tacos - amazing! A little friendly competition for the neighbors down the street. ;) The owner, Thomas, is extremely friendly and passionate about this place!! Don't hesitate to give him any honest feedback. And I say this because he's actually there. Day in and day out. Ask for him. He'll stop and say hi. All new places have growing pains. The majority of the non-positive reviews speak of service/serving time, yet half of the city seems to have amnesia of when a certain other BBQ place opened up, you waited in line for 45minutes and had your food thrown on paper like you're an animal. Those kinks have been worked out as we had a great experience and the food was great. Glad to see another local business take off!
(5)Brian R.
One of the best barbecue we have had,and we have had alot. Great sides flavor and food. Alot of beer selections on tap and bottles
(5)Alexander N.
I don't write reviews very often, but when I do it's for Pigs Floyd. I've been here three times since I've moved to Orlando two months ago. That just tells you they're doing something right. Every time I've had one of their sandwiches (the big Floyd x2 and the hunger killer, which includes an overeasy egg on top). Let me tell you, Every. Single. Bite. is mouth watering. Orgasmic. Go, go now before you're disappointed by another bar/grill burger elsewhere.
(5)Merl P.
Very good food. Fun atmosphere. Large outside patio. Would definitely eat here again. Avoid the pork belly taco - very fatty.
(4)Cassie H.
Loved this place- it's on a road filled with lots of unique restaurants, but it stands out as a little oasis in the middle of a busy part of town. The outdoor dining area is charming and the service is amazing. I got the Mills 50 Cheesesteak- the pimento cheese is reason enough to order this sandwich. The brisket is perfect. We also shared an order of yuca, which was delicious. The sauce served with it was sweet and creamy and something I wanted to dip EVERYTHING in. Will definitely be back to try more menu items!
(5)David M.
Very tasty. Good value. Friendly staff. I will come back. It's a good second option for BBQ in Orlando
(4)Abby D.
Food is so this here. Rib meat falls right off homes. Sauce is to die for and the corn on the cob is worth the dental floss.
(5)Jillian L.
Holy. Damn. To say that this is the best barbeque in Orlando is still not doing this place justice. When I went, I had the rib platter with black beans and rice and the grilled corn on the cob with chili, lime, and cotija cheese. I mean, the food is slap-ya-momma good. The standout for me was the corn. Now, as a main meat eater, this shocked me but I still dream about it. The patio is perfect on balmy Florida nights, pricing for all food is perfect, and everything is delicious. That and the owner, Thomas, will make sure that he steers you in the right direction for your lunch/dinner. If you haven't gone yet, do yourself a favor, fight the traffic on Mills, and go stuff your face full of delicious spiced, smoked meat. If you don't, well....you're stupid.
(5)Catherine C.
Yummy BBQ fusion here! I'm not a huge fan of American barbecue especially the sweet sauces. This place has great ribs and chicken with some interesting sauces to have with your food. The fried yuca, beans and rice were cooked perfectly. Everyone one of our party of 8 loved their orders. The owners were out checking on everyone and even saved our large group a table! A nice gesture since the restaurant is small on the inside. A popular joint for sure!
(4)Rafael C.
Excellent, relaxed atmosphere suitable for both families and informal get-togethers, and an OUTSTANDING brisket that easily matched or beat others I've had in both Deep South Georgia and the heart of Texas. A must go!
(5)Victoria J.
This is hands down the best place to grab a quick bite to eat. The pork belly taco is my favorite menu item. We come here often and have had most of the offerings and I would highly recommend them. The fried yuca is great and I really enjoyed the ribs. All of my house guests over the summer will get a visit to Pig Floyd's!
(5)Matthew M.
This is what I have been waiting for! I enjoy BBQ, and to be honest with you, it all tastes the same to me. Pig Floyd's is perfect for someone who wants something a bit different than your typical BBQ. This BBQ has flavor! Service was outstanding and efficient. The line was short and moved pretty fast thanks to the great individual working the counter. Even with some great friendly conversation, he got our order in and answered all of our questions. I had the amazing beef brisket sandwich the "Hunger Killer". It was fantastic. The bun was crispy and toasted but I opted out and went in for the kill on the meat. Perfect with the chimichuri sauce and a perfect egg to boot. I loved sitting outside and the server made sure we were satisfied until we hopped on our bikes and left with that tasty BBQ flavor lingering in our mouths.
(4)Nick P.
Great place scattered in with all the other business along Mills Ave. it doesn't look like much when you are driving up, but looks are deceiving. Great decor and delicious food. A must try is the corn. My experience was when I went in with some friends of mine after we received a raving recommendation from a local bartender. When we arrived we ordered 5 different meals to share amongst us all amd concluded shortly thereafter that there wasn't one bad dish. I personally went back two days later for lunch if that says anything.

Wow, best BBQ in Orlando HANDS DOWN. The atmosphere was great, trendy and good for dates or a group. Went on date night with the boyfriend and ordered a full rack of ribs which was plenty and even had some leftover. They apparently are really famous for their brisket but by the time we got there, they ran out. On top of the amazing meat, their sides are to die for! We ordered rice and black beans and fried plantains. O_O my goodness my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. The rice and beans were perfectly seasoned and the plantains were fried to perfection. There was a caramelized layer of sugar and you could hear and feel the light crunch in every bite. They also have a great beer selection. All in all I would eat here every week if I could afford it. Can't wait to go back and try different meats!
(5)Gary D.
Great food and atmosphere, The BBQ is great and the outside patio is wonderful in winter, fall and spring. The large assortment of beers and the bar are fun.
(4)Christine P.
Omg. Soooo good. I have to admit we have been here an hour and a half waiting and i just got my food so i an half drunk from drinking while i waited BUT i am soo pleased. The ribs are awesome! I ordered the brisket and was told , after waiting an hour, they ran out. I asked for ribs as a substitute which was quickly brought to my table. The spicy sauce is spicy but a moderate spicy which was just right for me. Tyler was great! Her deserves a raise! Lol
(5)Nicky C.
This food was delicious. Pork belly tacos and honey chicken tacos were on point and the fried plantains were addicting

If my husband were writing this review, he'd give them 4 stars - so I wish we had a 3.5 star rating! The food was 4 stars. I had the pulled pork Vietnamese style sandwhich. The pork was excellent as were the somewhat spicy condiments, but the bread was disappointing. I'm thinking the roll could have been better, considering the proximity of the Vietnamese bakeries in town. The husband had the pulled pork which is served on the Hawaiin roll which he gave 4 stars. Both dishes were served with seasoned fries that were good, but not hot. Which leads me to the 3 star rating. The service. The place was packed by 7pm on a Friday, but the line moved quickly and it looked as if folks were receiving their food easily and that tables were opening up. So we stayed in line and ordered take out, and sat patiently at a table with our "number". The party of 4 that ordered in front of us, received their food and we thought - wow, that's pretty quick! the party of 4 that ordered directly AFTER us received their food, and we though - wow, our order will be ready soon. So we waited. Some take out bags appeared at the bar and I felt hopeful, and I waited. A server picked up 2 of the bags and delivered them to another table. One bag remained so we waited. As the bag was ignored for another 7 minutes, and food was served to others, my husband went to ask the guy who seemed to be sort of in charge and low and behold that was OUR bag of food. The girl who delivered the bag go us told US to check the bags to make sure we got everything. how ODD, but proably WISE. As we departed, the guy who seemed to be in charge, did say he was sorry. While "sorry" was appreciated, it was a bit weak considering that SERVING the FOOD is a key element for a successful business.

Sooo, our family went here for dinner last night and we were disappointed. Service was terrible - there were plenty of employees but no one really providing any kind of real service to any of the guests. We had to keep hunting down a server to get refills for our drinks, the extra plate I asked for never came and the sauce we asked for when we placed our order never came either. The ordering process is awkward, to say the least. You place your order at a counter, then they give you a number and a server brings your food to you. Sounds simple enough, but the menus are at said counter, so if you're standing in line behind someone who is ordering, and they've never been there before, you have to wait for them to go over the menu and then order? With as many people they had on payroll, it would definitely function and flow better if guests were seated and the servers took the orders. With a name like Pig Floyd's, I expected a more edgier (I'm sure that's not even a word lol) and more rock n rollier (that one either!) atmosphere. On to the food ... it was OK ... I've definitely had better BBQ. Our food came out in record time, but wasn't piping hot like it had just been prepared ... more lukewarm like it had been sitting in a steam table. The tacos were ok - we got the pork belly and the al pastor, both a little in the dry side for my liking. The ribs were pretty good, though. They would have been better if they were actually HOT, as if they had just come off the grill! I could see the vision of the type of food they are trying to serve, but the execution was a bit lackluster. Lastly, a very creepy tall guy (who I am only going to assume was management) came out and hurriedly and insincerely asked each table if everything was ok ... why bother asking if you really don't care? I don't think we will be back ... *sad face* because we were so excited to go there!
(2)Butch S.
refreshingly different. not your average bbq place. would definitelly go back again !
(5)Jeannie G.
This place is AMAZING! The ribs fell off of the bone and they let their meat shine through! I love that they do not "hide" their meat under sauce!!! Everything was delicious.
(5)Julia E.
Stopped here on a whim and I must say I was beyond impressed and will be back again. You know it's an excellent BBQ place when you don't need to add sauce to anything. I ordered the chicken butter taco and the la vaca tahkaw which were both phenomenal. My boyfriend got the chicken & rib combo and I have never had more tender/juicy meat ever...I'm not a ribs fan but I surely am now after this visit. Can't wait to go back again to try something new. Cheers.
(5)Liz K.
I've eaten here twice, the first time I dined in and it was great. Their sauces are amazing, the ribs were delicious and their corn on the cob was to die for. This evening, I got to-go food and was very excited to try the tacos. I got the pork belly taco & the butter chicken. I don't know which was which because they were boxed together which then made the tortillas insanely soggy. I was extremely disappointed when the corn I ordered wasn't even my bag, neither were the two sides of sauce I asked for - all of which was noticed after I got home (they stapled the bag closed). They packed my order with a side of yuca (I didn't order that) and it didn't even come with the sauce that it's paired with on the menu (and they were dry and tasteless). The food is good, I'll go back, but i don't know if getting it to-go is the way to go, if you do just a bit of advice, rip open the stapled bag and make sure your order is right before you walk out the door!
(2)Laurie B.
I really really wanted to love this place but they are going to have to make some big improvements before we go back.... No line we got there around 530 no beer menu upon ordering but once we ordered a draft beer were not told about bottled beer until we sat down and paid for meal. Menu states draft beer was 16 0z servings but we were served in 12 oz mason jars so basically we paid 5 dollars for 12 oz of beer though the menu says 16 oz servings ! When I informed one of the walk around waitresses she said I will bring it to the managers attention . I have to say the brisket was good ! It had a nice seasoning on it and the platter is served with tortillas very filling and tasty!! The yucca fries were eh but the French fried corn on the Cobb were great! My husband got the mills 50 sandwich and the bread was boring and dry. My daughter specifically requested just pulled pork and bun and she got a huge dollop of coleslaw on top of her sandwich. Her bun looked like a French hamburger roll from publix . As of right now not sure if we will go back buy I have to say the brisket and the tiki masala sauce and chimichurri sauce were highlight of the meal. Also thought it was strange that they asked to have you leave a tip before you sit down to eat your meal . Tipping before you get your service? Hopefully they will get their act together because we live so close!!

Let me start by saying I simply do not like BBQ, and despite that I've had one of the most delicious meals I've ever had at Pig Floyd's. Good atmosphere, very reasonable prices, and polite and friendly staff.
(5)Bob T.
I love BBQ and place looks great with a great menu. However food did not taste very good. Very loud inside, noise echoes. Menu said southern sweet tea, don't think so, must be made by a YANKEE, didn't taste very good. Beer was served in a mason jar?? Had to ask for napkins & utensils. BBQ not too hard to mess up, but definitely was not impressed. Too bad this place had a lot of potential. Will not be going back
(1)Lewis H.
I'm usually a skeptic when it comes to new BBQ joints.. I hesitated to try this place for a few weeks, but after getting a recommendation from some family members, I agreed to try it out. First of all, the atmosphere was great. I like ordering from a counter, as it usually means faster service. The food was out to us in minutes, and it looked great. I took a bite of the fried yucca first. It was literally life changing. I ordered the combo platter with Fried yucca and plantain. I ate every single bite. I'm really looking forward to heading back soon, probably for lunch instead of dinner, and trying out the tacos. They looked good.
(4)BB K.
Wow! Great food, and original flavors. Got take out of brisket and pulled pork, beans and rice, and fried plantains. Time to park, order, get food, and back to car was less than 15 minutes and the place was busy. Really enjoyed our dinner. The sauce was very original and just excellent as was all of the food. Welcome to the neighborhood Pig Floyd's. Glad you are here.
(5)Kasey C.
I've heard great things about this place and they did not disappoint. Everything we got was sublime. The butter chicken tacos, the tacos al pastor and the bahn mi were fantastic as was the apple fennel slaw. Love the fusion of so many cuisines...great menu and great food. Service was fast and all the staff were extremely friendly. The dining room is quaint with a rustic retro vibe and they have a nice patio area for nice days. All in all a must visit.
(5)Heather J.
Food was good but not amazing, oh wait that is once we got our food. We were the first customers in the door. It took 6x times flagging down the girls to get our food. That came out pieces at a time and half the party was done eating once the other party received their food. Their special the chili had a good flavor but came out room temperature. I had the two tacos and a side. I left still hungry and I'm not one who normally finishes my meal. The fried yuca and bread pudding was excellent. The staff however seemed like we were bothering them and not at all friendly. Hopefully they work out the kinks. I'll wait a few months before I give it a try again.

After reading all the yelp reviews, I was expecting a lot better food than what I had today. It is a nice hipster little restaurant located on Mills/Virginia. The Asian/Latin fusion was definitely presented in the food; however, lack of flavors for my Pig Rib Sandwich and 2-meats (Pork & Brisket) platter. The Pig Rib sandwich mimics the Vietnamese banh-mi with sar chiu; however, I can only taste the dry meat and lettuce. The 2 meats platter is a bit better as the brisket is a little more flavorful, but the pork was too fatty to eat. I ended up tossing out almost all of my pork. The bean & rice for the 2 meats platter was just plain white rice and black beans without any seasoning added. The french fries and corn were the highlights of my whole meal as they were pretty good. The service was exceptional. The waitresses came by to check up on us a couple times and our glasses were never emptied. Overall, if you're looking for a good service, hip restaurant...this is the place for you. If you're looking for great tasting BBQ joint...this is definitely NOT it!!!
(2)Wendy N.
I've changed my star rating on this restaurant as the owner has taken the time to respond to my complaint about the maddening noise level which will be remedied. The food itself is good, though I felt the portion size was a bit small for what I ordered. Will try it again
(3)Joel M.
Excellent all around. Had the brisket with corn and plantains, fiancé had the chicken with fried yuca. Both plates were excellent. Will go back and highly recommend.
(5)Mike M.
This was my 1st visit to Pig Floyd's and let me tell you....INSANE! I came with my bestie who is also a foodie. The beef brisket and pulled pork are truly outstanding. The plantains are seriously the best plantains I've ever had. The 1/2 chicken was delicious and perfectly moist. All of the sauces are fantastic (although you really don't need any sauce because the seasoning is perfect). Trust me....this is by far the best barbecue place in Orlando. Great place date night or just because. The atmosphere is wonderful too! You've got to go here!
(5)Maura J.
Awesome atmosphere with even better food/service! A welcome addition to the area. Blows Wildside's BBQ out of the water!
(4)Garrett J.
This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is relaxing and nice. The staff was very attentive, friendly and they checked on us frequently. The food is phenomenal! I ordered a half rack of ribs, yuca and the slaw! This place is so much better than 4 Rivers. The ribs were the best I've had in Orlando. I can't wait to go back and bring my friends to this great restaurant!
(5)Miao M.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I'm basing a 4 star rating on the food only. As far as an enjoyable dining experience, they have some serious issues to work out. It seems like they want to be more of a restaurant than a traditional BBQ place, but they do not take orders at the table. A month after opening, the lines are still huge. Your reward for standing in line 20 or minutes is to give them your money and put the order in for yet another 45-60 minute wait for the food. In my experience, you go to a restaurant hungry, so waiting around another hour with no option but to buy drinks is not really acceptable. In most BBQ place, you go down the line cafeteria style and when you have paid, you have your food and you are ready to eat. Wouldn't that be a better system? It can't take too long for someone to make a taco in front of you if that's what they are ordering. The staff did try to be helpful when we saw the long wait. We were allowed to step off the 30 person deep line and place a take out order at the bar. But it really made no difference, as we still waited 45 minutes for our takeout order. The good is they have a lot of seating both indoor and outdoors if you are not hungry and want to have a few beers. It's the food delivery system that needs to be re-thought, and I would imagine most are coming here wanting to chow down pronto. We got home with our food and experienced a couple of other mis-steps: we got a ribs platter and a chicken platter with our two sides, but they failed to put the tortillas that should have been included in the bag. Also, there was no sauce in the bag. We were not asked if we would like any sauce, or what kind which is pretty standard for BBQ places and take-out. I would have liked to try it, but it was not a big deal (the sauce) as the ribs didn't seem to need it. They had a bit of sweetness on the crust like they had been brushed with some sauce at the finish. They were smoked pretty much to perfection with beautiful pink color. I have been unimpressed with all Barbeque in Orlando I have tried thus far, but this was really pretty darn impressive. The slaw was a nice rough cut style that tasted fresh and healthy with a tasty apple-cidery light sauce--no heavy mayo. The corn had a wonderful grilled flavor. My BF is a big beans and rice fan and he found them outstanding. I tasted what I thought was Thai Fish Sauce in the beans and it really worked--yummy! So, big props on the best tasting food of a new restaurant we've tried in many months, but please work the kinks out so we can totally enjoy the experience without reservation.
(4)Dale R.
Excellent food and service. Place has a real cool vibe. The Brisket was excellent, the corn on the cob was absolutely fantastic. Food came out quick. Enjoyed it more than 4 Rivers. Much better quality.
(4)Jeff J.
Went here this past weekend. Good service, a little pricey, but the quality was good. The brisket was a little fatty. The corn was awesome. The Big Floyd sandwich was awesome. My only suggestion would be to switch from a regular roll to Texas Toast on the sandwiches. I know asking for vegan options seems a bit strange at a bbq place, but my fiance had the fried tempeh (a carnivore describing vegatarian options is a stretch) I think, and she didnt seem super stoked. The place just opened so they deserve some grace. Good beer selection.
(5)Ines V.
I had high expectations after reading so many good reviews and I hope my experience was a one off. I ordered the pulled pork & brisket combo to try two items, with rice & beans and yuca sides. The pork was pretty good, but the brisket was dry -- very dry. To be honest I am comparing it to various incredible brisket plates I had in Austin recently, but location shouldn't matter. I don't like having to add sauce to meat to make it tender or flavorful, it should be great on its own and the sauces just as a side item. The rice & beans were okay -- nothing special, but wasn't there for rice & beans, the yuca on the other hand was BAD. I love fried yuca and know what to expect in regards to texture and flavor. I am not sure, but I think they may have passed the yuca through a processor because the consistency was more like mashed potatoes and obviously a processed food item because the shapes were too uniform. I will give it another try, as I said, I hope it was an off night in regards to the meat.
(2)Brian B.
unique food on the menu served with awsome flavor and portions are great awsome selections and bbq with a cool twist
(5)Alex L.
I tried this place when it first opened and you could tell that they had some growing pains transitioning from a food truck to a restaurant. However, I'm happy to report that their food has only gotten more consistent and the service is faster (although it's always been great). More than your standard BBQ joint, this little gem offers Latin-influenced barbacoa. In addition to a different flavor of BBQ, their tacos make them stand out. Don't miss the Al Pastor taco and the Guyanese/Caribbean-inspired butter chicken taco. The inside of the place looks great and the patio is one of the best outdoor dining spots for when the weather is nice.
(5)MyYelp ..
Went there a few nights ago. Of course as luck would have it they would be out of ribs and most everything else except for the pulled pork. This was on a early Saturday evening. The staff was extremely friendly. The food was actually pretty good. I have had a better barbecue before but, for being in the middle of Orlando, this place isn't bad at all. The pulled pork was quite tasty, had the perfect moisture and the pineapple buns were amazing. The steamed vegetables were also quite excellent to say the least. We will be going back and hopefully they will have ribs next time.
(4)Mark C.
Asked for the lean brisket - Yucca fries and grill roasted corn on the cob. Aaaaaaaaaaaah! Hog Heaven!
(5)Christopher P.
This is most likely the best restaurant in Orlando. They have everything from standard Bbq fare to weird and awesome Indian fusion barbecue tacos. They are winning awards for their food. Just go try it. You won't be disappointed. The staff is fantastic as well. The place regularly gets very busy, but the staff is consistently busting their asses to make sure your drinks are full and everyone is happy. Expect a wait of you are coming at a normal lunch or dinner time, but it's worth it. Don't be selfish. The place is small and amazing. You'll have to share it with everyone else who wants some bitchin barbecue.
(5)Shilley T.
I heard a lot of great thing about this place so when fellow yelpers decided to throw an unofficial yelp event, I figured this would be the perfect time to check it out despite the rain and pretty much getting rained on (LOL). The UYE itself was pretty amazing. It is always a great time to network and meet fellow Yelpers from Orlando or out of town. I really enjoyed it. Kuddos to Pam and Ryan for organizing and I look forward to the next UYE. Now onto the food: all I have to say is WOW...all the other reviews are true! The food is delicious and words can't really describe how good it is. I ordered the butter chicken tacos with a side of sweet plantains(recommended by the person at the register): it a taco served with rice, chicken tikka, Greek yogurt, jalapenos and cilantro. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and the plantains were good. My only criticism was that the sweet plantains seemed to have added sugar which I didn't think was needed as the plantains were already sweet. I had heard some raving reviews about the corn on the cob but they had unfortunately ran out when it was my turn to order. The service was great also, being a large party they were very accommodating and helpful. In conclusion, if you have not made it to Pig Floyd's Urban Barbakoa yet, you are missing out. The food is great, the service is great and I am sure you will enjoy it. I can't wait to go back so that I can try the famous grilled corn on the cob.
(4)Hannah M.
Aw, you're killing me, Pig Floyd's! My friend and I came in tonight for dinner and both got the Plain Jane with brisket. I had heard amazing things about the brisket and that it was even better than 4Rivers. Well, it isn't, at least not tonight. The meat had a nice smokey flavor but even that couldn't help the dryness. It was almost California dry. Thankfully, the sauces were spot on and saved the day. I had the sweet BBQ and tried the delightful Lucky Dragon-a teriyaki flavor that paired well with the smoked meat. I'll try Pig Floyd's again...maybe it was just an off night. The last time I came the meat was incredibly tasty. Hopefully, it's just a fluke and the next time will be more consistent with the other reviews and ravings for this urban barbacoa.

I know what you're thinking, "what the hell is a vegan doing at a BBQ place?" and you're right, this is not a place I would entertain coming to. However, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was for me to find food to eat here. I was excited because it's not very often I eat BBQ food, so it was cool to kind of have those flavors again. But the best part about this place is that it's infused with Latin cuisine, so it gives it that extra flare. Now on to the part you're waiting for, what did I eat? I had a Tofu (Pork) Belly Taco, fried plantains, and a side of seasoned vegetable with southern sweet tea lemonade. It was all soooo delicious. I enjoyed the flavors of the taco very much, it was delicious. The plantains were amazing! They were perfectly ripped and sweet, just the way I like them. Lastly, the vegetables were really good as well, they tasted smoked (in a good way) which made me want to eat like 4 more bowls. The prices here (at least for what I ate) are very inexpensive, which is also a big plus. I wouldn't say I will be a regular here, but if I'm ever craving some smoked BBQ tofu tacos for cheap, I will stop here for sure. Also, if you're not a big fan of smelling meat being cooked, this isn't the place for you, unless you sit outside.

Finally made it to Pig Floyd's and I realized I've been missing out on the best BBQ in Orlando! I arrived at around 12:30pm on a weekday and surprisingly it wasn't packed. I really wanted to try the ribs but unfortunately they had run out and the ones in the smoker were not ready. I decided to go with The Matahambre aka Hunger Killer and let me tell you, it truly is! This sandwich consists of smoked juicy brisket, roasted tomatoes, pickled carrots, Arcadian greens, Chimichurri, mayo and it's served on a large toasted roll. To top it off, they fry an egg and place it on top! It was truly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and I can honestly say that I'm hooked! I chose a side of Platanos Maduros aka Plantains and they were sweet and cooked perfectly. I can't say enough about the brisket, I was blown away by the flavor. Seating is limited but they do offer additional tables outside. I chose to sit at the bar since I was alone and I was very pleased with service. I was asked a few times if I was happy with my food and if I needed anything else. I wasn't able to save room for dessert after the Matahambre but I do plan on becoming a regular and trying out everything on the menu, especially the ribs and the chicken.

So disappointed in this local joint. Everyone in Central Florida seems to have been raving about it on Twitter and Instagram ever since it opened. Perhaps I just hit it on an "off day"? Gotta say barely anything I had on my plate was worth writing home about. I did enjoy the black beans & rice (which I can make at home). The bbq itself didn't have much taste, and was a little dry. Granted, I'm not a bbq aficionado, but I do like to get out from time-to-time and have some...and I know what tastes good. I will say I enjoy the atmosphere here, and if the weather permits I highly recommend taking advantage of the outdoor seating. Employees are also really friendly, and there's a pretty decent selection of beer and cider. I'm not saying I'm not willing to go back for another visit (although I have several friends who have been numerous times, and have the same general sentiment as I), and am certainly happy to update this review if I do.

My darling wife told me this morning we were going to Pig Floyd's for dinner when we woke up today... Whatever baby wants... Baby gets.... I called my BFF and told him our plans and really had to twist his arm hard to get him to come... OK, the arm twisting is a lie... After spending the afternoon with some friends we swung by and picked up my BFF and off to Pig Floyd's we went. Ironically.. We all ordered the half slab with corn and coleslaw. I opted for some brisket as well. We found an open table and about 5 minutes later our food was being brought to the table. Of course my wife had to let me photograph our plates and then we all dug in. I could give you the play by play but what would be the point? Here is the Reader's Digest Condensed version... The ribs were cooked to perfection... The coleslaw is off the flippin chain... The corn is incredibly delicious... My wife got ONE bite of my brisket before I gobbled it all up... The owner was out in the dining room saying hi to everybody as usual. When the table next to us had one item missed on their order, he and the food runner had it corrected in under a minute... One thing that stands out here is the service but it also helps that they offer GREAT BBQ. If you have not been to Pig Floyd's... You have NO IDEA what you are missing out on!

I heard so much hype about this place, so it was a given that I had to see what all the hype was all about. I was super ecstatic that I am able to confirm that the hype was true. How can you go wrong with BBQ and Latin Infusion. The answer is you can't! I was a meeting a friend for dinner, and mind you he is a very picky eater and he loved the place. I guess I came at a perfect time, because when I arrived there were only a few people ahead of me in line. So pretty much you wait in line and place your order. Then you take a seat, and they will bring your order out to you. I came at a pretty decent time because I did not have to wait long in the line, or for my food. Mmmmmmmm.......what did I order. A savory BBQ Chicken as my entree, and for my sides corn on the cob with sweet plantains. The chicken was tender and juicy. The fried plantains literally melted in my mouth. The corn on the cob was seasoned to perfection. The ambiance is a rustic industrial vibe which is very Hipster. Also, they have a nice selection of beers and wine to go with your entree. I will definitely come back, because there are a lot of other appealing dishes that I need to try! I LOVE BBQ INFUSION!

Great place for a bit of BBQ comfort food! Friendly staff, good tasting food, and reasonable price - what can I say more (aside from agreeing all my follow Yelpers' comments). Highly recommended to all!

BBQ with a Latin attitude and influence - Kaboom it a hit. Fast service, cafe style eatery. Ribs and chicken were delicious! The chorizo shrimp taco - HELLOOOOO DOLLY! Fried Yuca, anytime I can get it I'm smiling Nothing to fault here -

Trying this place for the first time it was really delishes. I don't eat meat so I was so excited that they had tofu and shrimp tacos with black beans and jasmine rice and a smoked tikka sauce! My husband eats meat he order the ribs, corn on the cob and fries. He said the ribs were moist and corn on the cob was grilled with a smoked seasoning, fresco cheese and parsley really tasty, the ketchup is homemade with a hint of lemon and other spices it is so good I couldn't stop dipping my husbands fries in the ketchup. Oh! We sat outside on the patio. It was a perfect day to sit outside on their patio florida had no humidity and a breeze. The had their music piped in on their patio at a nice volume you could carry on a conversation!

Such a unique take on BBQ. Love the atmosphere as well as the many side options offered!

Good food, great service, unique flavor. Been here 3 times and have only experience slight issues that were easily fixed.

Time for an update! 5 Stars for fabulous (cheap) tacos and some sides that make you go MMmmm! (And another example of why I trust my fellow Yelpers) So, my first experience hadn't gone as well as I'd hoped, but they had just opened and I've been wanting to give this spot another try, especially seeing all the love they get on Yelp. I met with a friend and stopped by for lunch today and was blown away! First off, our food came on in less than 10 minutes and throughout the meal we must have had someone checking on us to make sure we were all smiles about every 10 minutes (with Thomas, the owner, coming by to say hi as well). It wasn't annoying at all, but really great to see that they are on their A-game even during a lunch rush. It was a hot one (June. Orlando. June.) so we sat inside after going through the line and ordering at the counter. I have to say, though the restaurant is small it is set up in a way that makes great use of the space and we felt very comfortable. The decor is also on-point and "Instagram-worthy" with lots of wood and metal. But it's really all about the food. What I loved: - The Pork Belly Taco: I remembered this taco from last time and had to do a repeat. It was sweet and what I liked most was that the pork belly extended along the entire taco and it was not fatty (this is shocking as a lot of pork belly is inedible to those of us who are not down with gelatinous foods). Highly recommend! - The Shrimp & Sausage Taco: Holy. Moly. This thing was equal parts tangy, sweet, savory, and creamy. I loved the pickled onions on top that added just a hint of spice. - The Butter Chicken Taco: Heavenly. Buttery. Perfection. Ok, I'll admit I picked off the jalapenos (I'm a wimp), but there's no doubt why this is a fan-favorite. - Sweet, Ripe Plantains: Ok, so I hope I'm not way off base in saying that everyone's favorite part of a sweet plantain is the burnt crunchy/chewy edges. But it's a fact. Pig Floyd's seems to understand that and celebrate it with plantains that are wonderfully caramelized and pair perfectly with a savory dish. - Apple Fennel Salad: This salad is PLENTIFUL. Meaning, a side of it will feed two people. It's a much more subtle flavor than most of the other dishes which makes it the perfect side. Sweet, vinegary, refreshing! Whelp- there you have it! Another reason why you should always give a biz another shot (especially when Yelpers are going bananas for the spot!). Now, take all my money and keep those tacos coming, Pig Floyd's!

My girlfriend and I ordered takeout twice, and both times it was amazing. Our favorite item on the menu is the Ribs with the dragon sauce. The sides were delicious too. The fried plantains, corn on the cob and rice and beans are fantastic too. Not to mention they have Two Hearted on tap and the food comes pretty quick.

Went here last night with two other peeps from Kansas city the home of the best BBQ in the world!! This place was surprisingly amazing!! We had ribs and street tacos. I would definitely come back.
(5)Elaine J.
Best brisket in Orlando. Absolutely LOVED it. Great flavors, fresh ingredients- the food has tons of soul. Get here soon before everyone finds out about it and there's a line out the door!

Delicious food, great management, and a good atmosphere. I will be returning here again.

After hearing Echoes of the brilliance of Pig Floyd's for some time, I finally had a chance to come in for a visit. My wife is generally less enthused about barbecue than I am, because her love of Pigs keeps her away from pork (on this point we are Poles Apart, as much as I think pigs are adorable, I also think they're delicious). So when she said she wanted to check it out with me, I wanted to Run Like Hell before she changed her mind. In fact, I've gotten her to come back a couple of times (wow, I was Lost For Words), so you know they're doing something right. The wait can be pretty crazy, but both time we got lucky and showed up just minutes before the rush that had people waiting in a line out the door. On my first visit, I ordered the Big Floyd, a masterpiece of meats on a bun, served with really tasty fries. All of the meats (sausage, pulled pork, and brisket) on the sandwich were amazing together as well as separately. It's a meal that really did Speak To Me, I had to remind myself to Breathe. On our next visit I decided to try the pulled pork banh mi. I was concerned at first that it wouldn't be enough for a meal since banh mi is often small, but it's my concern was unwarranted; after finishing the meal I was full and Comfortably Numb. The combination of smoky BBQ flavors and Asian cilantro/daikon flavors was really great. The menu is small, but the specials change regularly and we haven't yet had anything we didn't care for. Wish You Were Here? You should. One last thing... the music. Wot's... Uh The Deal? A rather out of place selection of Spice Girls and Aqua. Had me half way to Brain Damage. Okay I think I've crammed enough Pink Floyd references into that review. Sorry. :-)

I've been really wanting to eat here for awhile, but the place was always too busy. I finally made it in for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of parking, plenty of tables, and no waiting. The stars were alined properly that afternoon. I ordered one chicken El Pastor taco and one pork belly taco from a friendly man behind the counter. He handed me my tea and a number stand and off I went to sit at the bar. Four minutes later I had some awesome looking tacos in front of me. These weren't just any regular tacos either.... Other than plenty of meat, these were loaded with picked veggies, mandarin oranges, cabbage, feta cheese, and delicious sauces. They were both wonderful. I think I was a bit partial to the chicken taco, but would eat the pork belly taco again and you wouldn't hear me complain.I'm excited to take my husband back soon so we can try their pulled pork and ribs. Go, you'll be glad you did!

Came in on a Friday for lunch; the place was packed! The line was out the door but moved fairly quickly. There was a lot of different things on the menu and I honestly wanted to order everything. I opted for 2 tacos and a side which consisted of the pork belly, the taco with braised beef (forgot the name ) and yuca fries. Both were good, but nothing out of this world. The yuca fries came with a "fancy sauce" that made me want to dip everything in it. The food came out literally what felt like 5 minutes( awesome! ) and we were constantly being checked on by the staff. On 4 separate occasions different team members came by to refill our drinks and check up on us. Kudos to them! I'm definitely coming back to try more of their goodies.

Pig Floyd's to me seems a cross between American BBQ with a little Latin influence. The venue is set up in the industrial style, clean, comfortable with indoor/outdoor seating available. Orders are placed at the front counter and then delivered to your table (you're given a number at the time you place the order). I stopped in for an early dinner with my fellow cast members after a performance at Fringe. They'd been there before, it was a first for me. I ordered the two meat combo entree which brings BBQ pork and brisket. Both were exquisite though I confess, I would've gladly eaten more of the pork if I could. The combo came with a flour tortilla and choice of two sides. I chose rice and black beans, and grilled corn on the cob with cotija cheese on top. Choice of sauce was spicy BBQ and great choice indeed! Sauce was not to overpoweringly sweet and had the right amount of heat to it... The rice and beans were yum! I tend to like sticky rice and this was perfect for me, beans were well seasoned and the corn was DELISH... I also have to mention that Floyd's has a fairly decent amount of craft beers available both on tap and bottled. Funky Buddha Hiefenweizen was my choice and I enjoyed the light citrus take on my palate. Dessert was the banana pudding OMG!!!!! enough said :) Prices aren't dirt cheap but it's not extreme. $15 for a well sized entree is reasonable to me. Beers average around $5. My only negative wasn't even about the food. It was the temperature inside Floyd's. The thermostat said 78 and it felt way too warm inside. Granted it was well over 90 degrees outside, but with a lot of windows, it's going to make things hotter and as a result, the air needs to run colder. Assuming you want comfy patrons dining inside! But it's not a reason to dislike the food and the service. I'll just visit when it's dinner time and cooler. ;)

How can a BBQ fanatic pass up Pig Floyds? My wife and I have been wanting to come here for a while and we finally made it for lunch. I was surprised to see the non BBQ items living like ebony and ivory next to each other on the menu. My wife had the butter chicken taco and the chicken babacoa taco. I had a sammich with each of their Mears represented on one bun. You wouldn't think a prospective BBQ joint would have excellent Indian food but the butter chicken on the taco was the best I've had in Orlando. My sammich was also excellent. Next time I'm coming for the ribs and sausage and to hell with my doctors advice. Service was just fine neither remarkably good or bad.

Just to when you thought 4 Rivers BBQ couldn't be beat....Pig Floyd's shows up. DELICIOSO!

Visited here in late November whilst on vacation from Liverpool UK, we had read good things online and had to try it!! Thank god we did!! Without sounding dramatic, one of the greatest places I (have ever eaten. Corn to die for, incredible smoked chicken (wife) I had the tastiest sandwich with pulled pork and brisket (sorry can't remember the exact name) the staff are so friendly and the place has an awesome atmosphere. If your local or on vacation, forget about chain restaurants go and enjoy REAL food. Thanks guys

What's the saying? If a BBQ joint has as a pig in it's logo you know its good? If you go by that mantra then Pig Floyd's is for you. Floyd's is located in a nice, quiet area of Orlando and radiates a very homey welcoming feel. From their menu to its appearance this place is a modern BBQ joint. Right when you walk in, you grab a menu, head to the cashier, order up and then go sit and enjoy yourself either inside or outside in their large patio area while you're foods being freshly made. I started off my barbeque excursion with a Butter Chicken Taco which is spiced chicken tikka, toasted pepitas, fresh jalapenos, Greek yogurt, cilantro and Jasmine rice on a tortilla. The taco was nothing I've ever tasted. You'd expect some spice but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, the yogurt really helps reduce the heat and add to the deliciousness. My travel companion - two cups (yes 2) of sweet tea - next moved on to the main course: The Big Floyd. The Big Floyd is smoked brisket, pulled pork, sausage, sweet bbq sauce, citrus peanut slaw and French fries. It might sound like too much but I gobbled that baby right down. It was not too heavy and did not have an overwhelming taste that you might expect. The only part I thought was a bit too much was the sausage which was just a half of a sausage tossed on it. I wish it was either sliced up on it or just left off. One of the best parts of The Big Floyd was the bun! Instead of just being a part of the sandwich, it added to the different flavors having a party in your mouth. For the side of my big sandwich I went with the grilled corn on the cob. Let me tell you, nothing is better than a good corn on the cob and this was certainly one. It was dressed with spices and cheese that I couldn't stop rubbing over the corn. If you order right you'll leave this place full and happy. Is there a better thing than that? Cheers.

Rarely will I give a restaurant 5 stars. One word, AMAZING!! I'm not a huge BBQ fan, but Pig Floyds may have changed that. Food - I had the Big Floyd. The toasted coconut pineapple bun is so unique but adds a special touch to the sandwich. It comes with fries but you can switch the fries for any of the other sides at no cost. I went with the yucca fries. The yuca fries came with a sauce that was so delicious. I am a condiment freak so believe me when I say it is tasty. Beer - Pig Floyds has a nice variety of craft beer at a reasonable price. They serve their drinks in mason jars. For $16 and change I had a filling mean and a craft beer. I highly recommend Pig Floyds. I can't wait to go back and try a couple of other items off of their menu.

Finally made it to @pigfloyds today and ordered a 1/2 rack with sweet plantains and grilled corn on the cob. The ribs were super moist, a nice crisp char on the outside and fall off the bone. Great flavour and most of all HOT. Something #4rivers can't seem to maintain. I got the hot bbq sauce which was also very good. The sides were good, but the main act was what impressed me most. Congrats #pigfloyds and can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Overall, I liked it. Super busy on a Saturday night which was expected. You are told to stand in line and not save a table as they want to keep the tables turning over naturally so that once you place your order, hopefully a table will be open and not hogged by people saving tables not eating yet. All the employees were really nice and it almost looked a bit overstaffed, but since it it's almost table service, seeing extra staff roaming around makes sense. After you order at the cashier, you are given a number and you find yourself a table. Food is delivered and drinks refilled by the roaming servers. Pretty sure the manager even came by to ask if we needed anything extra or any refills, which I always appreciate the hands on, get your hands dirty management. The food was good. Could wow me more honestly though. The tacos were a little messy (be they were pretty full and saucy) and I wish they'd gave me a bigger plate for the two tacos I ordered. One small plate wasn't enough. I was impressed by the fried plantains thought! Bigger portion that I thought I would get for under $3--about 6 crispy chunks. Recommend those for sure. I will go back again and try more of their menu as I feel there are more flavorful, fun menu items to try.
(4)Christine F.
Stopped here before heading to the airport for one last meal in Orlando and oh my was it great. Please make your way here if you are ever in Orlando. I had a barbacoa banh mi sandwich, because I just can't help myself when I see banh mi on the menu. Their elote is great, their fries are great, everything was yum.
(5)K G.
Meh The corn on the cob was just corn on the cob. Nothing special. The Pig Floyd lacked flavor, but they subbed chx for brisket, so flavor was lacking. The butter chicken taco saved the day=3 stars.

I wasn't sure what to expect going in except that I read a lot of good reviews about the place so I was hoping to at least partake of a fairly decent meal, and it was much more than I expected. There's another well liked BBQ place that people rave about but I will say here and now that when I am craving BBQ, I will go here from here on out. It's not just smoked meats slathered in soso sauce, you can tell when you taste it that the meat itself has been well seasoned and they don't drown it in sauce to mask the bland meat; they put it on the side so that you decide how you want it. I also appreciate the fact that apart from the usual side dishes that come in your standard BBQ fare, they also have latin inspired sides which are REALLY delicious!! I highly recommend the rice and beans, AND the Yuca frita. Their selection of beer and wine is great, and reasonably priced. Their patio setting is really beautiful and relaxing, I felt like I could stay out there all evening eating delicious BBQ and spending time with good friends. This is definitely a must go destination for some delicious food.

I hoped I would enjoy it more. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong item. But before I get into the food, I'll get into the wait time for our food. This is a small place where you order at the cash register and they'll give you a number and bring out the food once ready. After ten minutes of waiting in line looking at the menu, we were prepared to order when it was our turn. Once we sat at our table, we waited about 25-30 minutes for our food. We were all hungry and getting pretty restless. I noticed that the numbers they gave us didn't seem to do much good because one particular waiter was running around like a chicken with its head cut off, not knowing which dish went to which table. I had gone up to get a refill and noticed a bunch of prepared dishes just sitting there looking for a home and a bunch of people standing around not doing much. Crossed my fingers that those were our plates! Well after much waiting, we eventually got our food. I opted for their signature sandwich, the "Big Floyd" - brisket, pulled pork, sausage, sweet BBQ sauce, citrus peanut slaw, and French fries served on a toasted coconut pineapple roll. Man! that sounds so much better than it actually was. It was just a hodgepodge of various flavors that I don't think complemented each other well. Individually, not a problem but together, it wasn't all that great. It was hard to taste the flavors of the meat with everything else that the sandwich had in it. It was the toasted coconut pineapple roll that really sold me on getting this sandwich but unfortunately, it is just too ambitious of a sandwich and the roll was overkill. Perhaps Hawaiian Sweet Bread would make a better sandwich where they can still maintain the sweetness and uniqueness. Just a thought. I also got fried plantains as a side and they were perfect. The 1/2 chicken with 2 sides combo ($10) seemed to be a hit with the others. One got rice and grilled corn on the cob (with chili powder, lime and cotija cheese) which she loved. The portions were very substantial. The half chicken is huge; could've been enough for lunch and dinner. If I were to go back again, I'd probably choose something off the meat platter menu instead of a sandwich. We all agreed that 3 stars is an appropriate rating, mainly due to the long wait for our food.
(3)Dan M.
Heard about this place through a friend. Ordering process is the same as 4 Rivers and the Coop. Stand in line and order but they bring your food to you which keeps the line moving. Can be very busy and tables can be hard to come by. Ordered the brisket with yucca as a side. Brisket was very good though not as tasty as 4Rivers (better rub). The yucca is really good with a crunchy exterior. Good beer selection.
(4)Christine S.
Service was terrible. Barely anything left available on the tacos menu. Ordered the brisket sandwich and it was half pork fat. 4Rivers is way better for barbecue.
(3)Chris A.
I've been wanting to try Pig Floyd's for a while now but I'm not on this side of town that often. We decided to give it ago while running some errands and we are so glad we did. I had a butter chicken taco, and the brisket taco, with a side of fries yuca with "fancy sauce." Everything was absolutely delicious! I don't know which taco I liked more. The fried yuca was absolutely delicious. Their "fancy sauce" is likes. Garlicy mayo-ketchup. So good! My fiancé had two butter chicken tacos with their grilled corn on the cob. The corn was also very tasty. The service was top notch and we had multiple servers making sure we were taken care of an led had everything we needed for an enjoyable lunch. If you're in the Mills50 are stop in and I know you won't be disappointed.

Why did it take me so long to try Pig Floyd's?! WHY?! Sigh. I only have myself to blame. Stopped by for dinner last week with an out of town friend. I ordered the brisket with veggies and fries. She ordered the brisket with veggies and plantains. We were both super happy with our meals. It was a lot of food for not a lot of money. We got there pretty early (around 6pm), and by the time we left, there was a line out the door. There aren't a lot of indoor tables and it was raining outside, so I'm sure that was a contributing factor to the line. The service was great. Everyone there was really friendly, and the gentlemen walking around refilled our drinks as soon as they got low. The place is tiny; there are very few tables inside and they do have a patio outside. It gets really loud really fast inside too.
(5)Rosa T.
My only complaint is that the food is so good you end up eating too much and need to be carted out of there. I wanted to start with the basics so I got the double meat platter with pulled pork, brisket, grilled corn and plantains. The food came out within 5-10 minutes of ordering and the owner came by to every table to make sure everything came out okay. I also ended up getting dessert when I saw another customer order one. I got the Black and Tan chocolate pudding dessert...so delish! I will definitely be back to explore the sandwiches and tacos!

One of my favorite places to eat in Orlando! I've tried a variety of things on their menu, but my favorite would have to be their Spiced Roasted Chicken. It's always perfectly seasoned and juicy when I order it, and I eat it with their Sweet BBQ sauce. It also compliments the two sides I usually order, which is their Rice and Black Beans and Fried Yuca. The Rice and Black Beans has a seasoning I've never experienced before, in a good way. Their Fried Yuca tastes amazing with their Fancy Sauce. In the end, I'm always left with left overs because the meal is very filling. I've tried a few of their tacos (Pork Belly Tacos & Butter Chicken Tacos) and I'm always satisfied. Each bite has so much flavor. The other thing I've had here was their Brisket and Ribs and I was disappointed. I was expecting it to be one of their best on their menu. They were dry and it tastes the same as other BBQ restaurants in my opinion. Maybe it was only dry at the time I ordered it, but I'll probably stick with their chicken platter. I definitely recommend this restaurant for great food and service though!!!

I had to dine here on the name alone! After grabbing a couple drinks at a downtown bar we decided to get a late bite to eat nearby. Most of the restaurants close by were closed or about to close. Doing a quick Yelp search Pig Floyd popped up. The small modern restaurant smells blissful with the scent of BBQ filling the air. It is counter service so place your order inside, get a number and find a spot inside the restaurant or the inviting patio. The menu is sprawled along by the cash register with the special listed on butcher paper. They have a nice selection of beer, ciders and wine. Jesse ordered an IPA and the banh mi. I ordered a glass of wine and the chicken taco al pastor. The banh mi is huge, stuffed with delicious pork and was overall decent. The fries were battered to perfection and came out piping hot. The fries were so good I couldn't stop stealing them off his plate. My taco was also very well done with moist pulled chicken, queso fresco, pickled veggies with a slice of lime. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on the patio, service was quick and both the food & drinks were great. I would definitely recommend Pig Floyd for a casual meal.
(4)Charlie W.
Brought my foodie friend Local 6 TV sports anchor Jamie Seh here. And she loved it We ordered two combo platters so that we could share and try everything. Pork, brisket, chicken and ribs. All cooked to perfection and juicy and moist. How do they do that everytime?? Sides were the corn and plantains which Jamie ate all hers. Burp. So did I for that matter. We both vowed to be back soon. And catch Jamie on weekends channel 6 news

It's not really fair to characterize Pig Floyd's as a barbecue place, because they're trying to do several different things, and succeeding pretty well. It's not exactly a fusion of Asian and barbecue, either, although there are "tacos" on their menu. The best way to sample the menu is to order the Big Floyd, a barbecue sandwich featuring a literal pile of brisket, pulled pork, sausage and fennel slaw. All the meats were tender and flavorful. I liked the strong smoked taste of the pulled pork, but the standout was the sausage, which was some of the best I've had. I'm really not a sausage fan, but that's the meat I'd concentrate on for a return visit. The fries that accompanied the sandwich were a bit sturdy, and the default barbecue sauce not quite the rich, spicy variety I'm looking for. The bun was good enough, but frankly the sandwich was so big I just ate the meat and slaw. I also tried the shrimp and sausage taco, which was very saucy with a creamy mayo like mixture that seemed pretty rich. And I tried the butter chicken taco, which had a good flavor but was mostly rice sopping with the butter sauce, not my favorite ingredient in a taco. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table, inside or out. Beer and wine are available.

"Introducing a fresh interpretation of the barbecue experience. PIG Floyd's integrates cultural influences with traditional fire, smoke and pit methods to craft vibrant, delicious fare." The mission statement says it all. This place is incredible, we stopped in at 3:00 PM on Saturday and the line was out the door, you'll hear that a lot but don't let that prevent you from trying this place out, the line actually moves pretty quick and with all the premium choices you'll need some time to look over the menu before placing your order at the counter. I will start by saying this place is staffed to provide excellent customer service that along with food that will absolutely have you planning your next visit as soon as you take your first bite. It's amazing how some restaurant owners like this one "gets it" while so many don't have a clue of how to provide the basic ingredients to be successful. It's really simple in my opinion - offer delicious creative fresh food choices supported by exceptional customer service at reasonable prices and they will come even when the line is out the door. The most difficult decision you'll make here is choosing what you want because on your first visit you'll probably want to try a little bit of everything so sharing with the ones you're with is the simplest way to accomplish this no doubt your return visits will become much easier I know mine will be. - Pork Spare Ribs - Good luck on finding any better in the State of Florida, seriously these are so delicious, the basting sauce and seasonings alone provides enough flavor that you may forget to add any of the house sauces, they are cooked to the perfect doneness to provide the tenderness you demand but with a slight chewiness that holds the meat together so you can rip it from the bone and hold it in your hand without it shredding requiring you to eat them with a fork and knife. A must try! - Half a Chicken - Completely cooked through, but oh so moist, tender and flavorful through and through when it first arrived I though oh okay it's just chicken nada.... It's magical chicken the seasoning on this bird is incredible, fall off the bone tender and I apologize to the owner you have some great sauces but I want it like its served, naked. The seasonings here are complex in flavor and some thought was definitely required to get this right. This is not ordinary chicken this is super chicken. - Black Beans and Rice - OMG this could be a meal in itself, the black beans are very special, the seasoning will have you at first bite. The flavors are complicated yet subtle you'll be wondering how can you achieve this at home because these could make the menu anywhere, served over steamed rice there's little doubt this side will be a staple going forward. - Grilled Corn on the Cob - All I can say is they sell a lot of corn almost every plate out of the kitchen has this side on it. The corn is served hot and covered in pixie dust of sorts, I consider to be my dessert. You know it's good when they sell it by the six pack to go.....who does that? The sandwiches and tacos remain on my bucket list and will be considered in the not so distance future served with another authentic ice cold bottle of Fanta Orange Soda.....

A sure-fire way to my heart is almost always to take 2 of my favorite things (here, that's tacos & BBQ), and put them together. Pig Floyd's has been around for a bit now - and they've settled into their place nicely on Mills. I'm still working my way through the menu (next up: Mills 50 Cheesesteak!) but most everything I have had so far was really, really good. The sandwich & tacos menu is very smartly put together...each one with piece of flair that really brings it all together (like the grilled pineapple, sesame seeds on one, pumpkin seeds on another, etc.). The Butter Chicken taco is really popular - and you'll see why. The specials are always interesting, too, and after you've found out what you like best - you definitely should veer into some of their creative 'non-menu' creations. The BBQ here is pretty solid, and although I am definitely more of a brisket guy, I actually prefer their smoked pulled pork (which always has a really great bark to it.) The brisket, in the tacos is great, but on the platters I have found it to be a bit greasy - but it seems to vary. The pork and brisket meat platter with 2 sides is a great introduction to Pig Floyd's (I totally recommend 2 people share it, and each get a taco). The sides are all pretty good - but the grilled corn smothered in cheese, lime, and spices is my go-to. The slaw is pretty good and always fresh, but I think it lacks the punch I wish it had. I'm not a fan really of the fries - but I hear they have their following, some double-fried or something - which makes for super crispiness, but underwhelming taste (maybe I should try seasoning them like the corn!? Wait...I think this might be genius). The patio is a great spot when there is a breeze, but I like the vibe inside as well, including sitting at the bar watching the cooks breeze through orders. The service is average, but gets the job done (the runners/bussers are sorta lackadaisical and don't often seem to be round to help out when you need a quick refill or a napkin - but it is counter service, so just don't plan on relying on them and you'll be OK.) However, the guy usually working the front desk taking orders is GREAT - super nice, knowledgeable about their menu and beers, and downright gets customer service. Pretty good rotating beer list, with a few gems sprinkled in. I think we better get used to Pig Floyd's, they're going to be in Orlando and the surrounding area for awhile (good news for us!).

Yes yes yes. YES! Excellent food, great location - fun area!... only issue is parking can be a bit iffy.
(5)Drew P.
The tacos were awesome! And the beer was delicious also. I love this place. The pulled pork was also amazing. And the staff is very friendly.
(4)Jeff C.
Another gem in Winter Park. Even though it is kind of self-service, the staff is very helpful. I came yesterday around 4p, and surprisingly rib was sold out. Since I had a lot of time on hand, I decided to order brisket and pulled pork and wait for the rest. I waited for about an hour and watched how the staff interact with the customers, quite amazing. The rib was worth every bit of the wait: tender, tasty... BTW, the run on rib was a glitch, they never ran out of food that quickly. I can't help comparing this one to the 4 Rivers Joint just up the road. Pig Floyd has better ribs, and 4R got the upper hand on brisket.
(5)Steve S.
Pig Floyd's is a casual counter order bar-b-q with a culinary twist. So, you order at the counter and they bring the food out to you in a few minutes. I had the 2 meat combo with brisket and pork. It was pretty decent, but I've had better. I got the Apple Fennel Slaw and the grilled corn nicely spiced including cheese. Both were very good and a twist different. A lot of the plates come with tortillas. Fried plantains are available as a slide lending a certain Latin flare. Craft beer and wine are available including a local craft from Broken Can. The lot was small and jammed with cars, so we parked on the street. There is a decent amount of seating both inside and out. I would definitely recommend Pig Floyd's for a casual meal.

It was late and everyone was a little bit STARVING!!! But where to eat at 9:15 with kids??? I know. Pig Floyds! I've had them bookmarked on my Yelp account for a while and they were open. Let's go! We were there pretty late and on a Tuesday of all days so they were out of brisket and pulled pork at that time. Didn't matter to me since I wanted a butter chicken taco and the yucca. My daughter got that and then added grilled veggies (a perfect assortment of many veggies) and plantains. Everything we got was delicious. The plantains were amazing. Cooked just right to be sweet and a little caramelized. Mmmmm. They even had a good beer selection but I bypassed that for some yummy sweet tea. Others in our party got tacos, ribs and fries and everyone was pleased and happy. The seasoning for the fries was perfect! I'd go back in a heartbeat! I'm sure the pulled pork and brisket would have been a hit as well.

If I could give 4.5 stars that would be more appropriate than 5. That being said the only real complaint I have is with the size inside and the parking for the facility, and honestly I guess it just comes with the territory... Reminds me of the personal hell that was waiting in line at the old tiny 4Rivers. That's about where the similarities with 4Rivers ends though. Okay that's a lie... If you close your eyes and eat the ribs you might find yourself transported but the menu here is a bit more atypical comparatively; specifically the tacos and the sandwiches. I guess the tacos and sandwiches are really what sets this place apart and the sauces taste great and aren't gimmicky at all. While you may have to take part in some kind of gladiatorial/hunger games level combatives to score a table during peak times, those peak times are easy enough to avoid.
(4)Alex F.
Ive now been to Pig Floyd's more times in the past 2 months then I have been anywhere else in the last year. Awesome spot with great food. While I normally get the tacos (one of each) with extra sauces one of my favorite things to eat is still the rib platter (comes with tortillas so you can make your own tacos). The outdoor seating is comfortable as is the bar and they have a nice selection of craft brews to go along with their food. I dont normally rate things 5 stars but they're running this establishment right and I would recommend it to anyone who has yet to give it a shot. Hopefully one day we'll see pinchos on the menu ;)
(5)Kaley C.
I am very impressed by Pig Floyds. I was a little skeptical about new BBQ in the Orlando area as there are some big guys to compete with, but Pig's fusion twist is perfect. The taco combinations are unique and incredibly tasty and I continually find myself choosing one of every flavor. They also cater to the vegetarian/vegan population with many tofu options. Unusual in a BBQ establishment, but I love it! The restaurant is setup nicely with a great outdoor dining area. Order at the counter and food comes to your table. Have heard complaints about the wait, but I have never had trouble in line or finding a table. Service has always been great. The owner is friendly and consistently at the restaurant greeting customers. Last time I was there, I spotted the owner and the staff on the patio testing out multiple new dishes. The owner spotted me staring and invited me to come try. You don't get that sort of attention everywhere. A great addition to the Mills50 area with lots of things to try.
(5)Jeff P.
What could just be another barbecue establishment manages to set itself apart from the pack with interesting takes on classic american dishes. My first visit, the cold Orlando night meant seating was limited and the line was out the door. Thankfully, the Mills 50 Cheese-steak made it well worth the hassle. With moist and flavorful brisket and their own house made pimento cheese, a sandwich that has a normally high potential for being bland was a knock out of the park in flavor. On my most recent trip, the weather was gorgeous and the outside patio area made for a much more relaxing and laid back dining experience. A Butter Chicken Taco and Pork Belly Taco were just the right amount of food to leave feeling content but not overly stuffed. Parking is a bit limited but I would say it is more or less accurate for the total number of seats in the restaurant.
(4)Christine C.
Great location, friendly staff, and good food. I love this concept, and most of their menu offerings. Nothing beats being able to sit on the patio and watch people strolling by on Mills Avenue while you nom on tasty ribs and roast chicken that rivals 4 Rivers. Make sure to grab a local craft beer with your dinner - they have lots of selections to choose from on draft or in bottles. And cider too, if that's your thing. I love supporting local chains with great food, and you should too. The restaurant has also always been impeccably clean the four times we've visited.
(4)Andrew R.
If you love BBQ this should definitely be on your list near the top of places to try. For a place themed off of pigs the brisket is pretty much amazing. Try the corn with chili powder and cheese, as a side. Not your traditional BBQ food, not your traditional BBQ venue.
(5)So I.
Yuca fries soooo good, plantains tasted fresh, tacos were super good over all been there a few times and I'm never disappointed.
(5)Cecille R.
What a solid choice for a fast casual meal. The flavors are so unique and I really love that not only do they cater to those with a "meatcentric" diet but also those who do not. The fact that they offer to substitute tofu in any of their entrée dishes at no charge is pretty awesome if you ask me! This is a "order at the counter" establishment and they'll bring your order out to you. Seating is available outside (limited) or you can opt for either a table inside or a seat at their bar. I decided to try two of their specialty tacos-- the chicken al pastor taco and the butter chicken taco. They're sold a la carte and were more than enough to fill me up. Especially if you throw in some sides too. I really liked the flavor of the chicken al pastor taco. I'm a huuuge fan of cilantro so that was an immediate plus. It had lots of fresh flavors because of the watermelon radish and pineapple salsa. I probably shouldn't have ordered the Butter chicken taco with this. It just didn't sit well with me for some reason. Maybe because of the contrasting flavors or because I was full? Also it is quite spicy with the jalapenos. I like spicy but I actually had to pull some off the taco as it was too much for me. The sides I ordered were excellent. The yucca fries with their "fancy sauce" is a must . I wasn't going to order another side until I heard the customer in front of me order 3 of the grilled corn on the cobs and simultaneously rave about them. He was right. The mix of chili, lime and cotija cheese on the grilled corn couldn't be beat. My husband had the Barbakoa Banh Mi and the fried plantains. His banh mi was jam packed with meat and dressed to the nines. He also commented on how well they prepared the plantains. So yep, he's a fan. Service was great. You don't get table service here but employees would regularly check on us , refill our glasses and offer to take empty plates. I really don't think you could really go wrong here. Just wondering what took us so long to check this place out!

Friends and I decided to give this place a try this past weekend. I got there a bit early and grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a beer to pass the time while waiting for my party to arrive. Kitchen and orders were a bit chaotic. Good spot to see what everything looked like though!! Took awhile for the food to be delivered but it was piping hot so no complaints there. I ordered the bahn mi with a side of plantains. It was decent, but nothing memorable. Will give this place another try to see if it wows on the next visit. I have high hopes!

Wow! I had heard about Pig Floyd's, but could not have gotten a true sense until we went first hand. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious, and the fennel slaw is addictive. The sauces and sides are just as memorable as the main dishes. The service was very attentive, and I appreciated that this casual environment still cared about taking care of our party of four. I'm looking forward to going back again and again!
(5)Joe M.
This is a great edition to the neighborhood. Great food, healthy choices (if you are intersted) in a relaxed casual atmosphere. The grilled vegetable side is really terrific! The ownership cares about this place! And it is a great value for the money. My only hesitation in giving a great review is that it will make it even harder to find parking. :-)

Pancakes and mimosas are overrated on a Sunday morning. Disagree? Head to Pig Floyd's for your next Sunday morning meal and you might rethink your typical brunch fare. Mills is exploding with tasty new restaurants and this self-proclaimed urban barbakoa joint is no exception to this growing group. I was a bit skeptical about the place since I've heard mixed reviews and am incredibly loyal to that other smokehouse across town. But after devouring a heaping plate of BBQ, grilled corn and wine, I think Pig Floyd's could be a nice alternative for the long lines and Sunday cravings on Fairbanks. I love the diversity of barbeque in town, but Pig Floyd's is just a little bit different and still a hidden gem. I was a bit surprised by the price, $22 for two sides, wine and meat - but it was worth every penny. Here's what we feasted on and thoroughly enjoyed this weekend! Barbakoa Meat Platter: Oakwood Smoked Brisket: A little fatty, but SO smoky and juicy once you cut around the fat. Thrill your taste buds by dipping in their homemade gluten free Hot BBQ Sauce. Oakwood Smoked Pulled Pork: Smoky and meaty, this pulled pork was smoked and flavored to perfection. Why choose just one meat when you can go for two with their combo platter? Grilled Corn on the Cob: Topped with chili, lime and cotija cheese - HOLY MOLY. I'll never eat plain corn again, a side so tasty I'd go back just for this dish! Cuban Black Beans & Rice: A nice alternative to traditional bbq beans, but probably not something I'd order again. I'm not a huge beans and rice gal anyways, but it was a nice pairing with all that meat and corn. We're coming back for the butter chicken tacos and ribs! Hurry in before the lines grow and the secret gets out about Orlando's newest barbeque haven.

A rustic atmosphere with delightful food and friendly waitstaff. Bottomline, Pig Floyd's is a great destination for a casual dinner. Their menu is refreshing with a variety of tasty options. From sandwiches to tacos, there are plenty of choices. The brisket is slow cooked for 16 hours and melts in your mouth. The are a variety of sides to choose from. The vegetables are full of flavor with a good mixture of broccoli, carrots and green beans (nice contrast to the mounds of meat). The corn on the cob made me feel like I was sitting at a summertime picnic. By far, their tacos are absolutely my favorite! Best taco in Orlando by a landslide. In particular, the sausage taco is bite after bite of mesmerizing flavor. The pork belly taco is a close second. The rustic modern atmosphere is warm and inviting. There is a bar with a variety of craft beers on tap. On a cool day, definitely recommend having a meal outside at their neatly lit porch. Biggest critique is concerning speed of service. They could really benefit from opening a second register during peak times or simply focusing more on throughput. As such, I find myself reserving this spot for a casual dinner instead of lunch. Once the order is in; however, the food does come out at a decent pace. If you are looking for a casual dinner with good atmosphere and tasty food (emphasis on tacos), I highly recommend Pig Floyd's!

We finally had a chance to try Pig Floyd's after passing it so many times and seeing a busy little joint hopping every time of day. THE FOOD: I ordered the chicken and ribs with a side of grilled corn. The hubs had the Hunger Killer Sandwich with fries. We also shared some yuca fries. The chicken was tender and flavorful. I actually gave the ribs to my hubby since I just wanted the chicken. You will definitely have food left over for lunch-we saw a ton of folks with boxes as they left. He said his sandwich was great too, it did look yummy. The corn was OK, but it just tasted like corn. It definitely wasn't as good as the one we had a Cask and Larder. The yuca fries were also OK. I think I prefer them a little crunchier similar to ones I've had at Super Rico Colombian Bistro. There is seating inside and outside and its smallish inside but still good seating if one person does the ordering and another does the holding seats thing. Parking is a little hard, not 4Rivers hard, but still. This place is definitely worth a visit though!

Excited to go, disappointed when there. Food was greasy. Brisket on a sandwich should have very little fat on it as you can't cut it out from the inside of a sandwich without a vivisection process. The brisket was over half fat. My Big Floyd was nothing to write home about, but the apple fennel slaw was poor coleslaw. No apple taste, little fennel in an overpowering sauce. When you have a restaurant that only makes 8 items you should have hem all worked to perfection by this point. Long wait, confused weight staff. It might have been a busy night as you were out of half the menu, but th food was just blah. Hint: in a sandwich, if your customer cant the fat off them-self, the kitchen should cut off excess fat. There may be an argument for leaving some, but the brisket was well over 50% fat. Mostly tone down the grease. A customer who's stomach is heavy with grease. Came for the ribs and desert. You were out of both. (rewritten because a touchscreen and bifocals are not a good combination)

We selected this place to celebrate my husband's Bday... No reservation needed, the staff were nice and efficient. I ordered fish taco with no chorizo or cilantro sauce and of course my tacos had chorizo, we had to return it, and also they forgot my French fries until we reminded them... My husband ordered sweet tea for my daughter but again the cashier got the order incorrectly and served her sprite. I would've gave it a 5 stars if our food orders were right in the first place. The food was good, and the prices are reasonable.

Third time is not a charm unfortunately. First time was when they were newly open so figured we would try again. Second time they were OUT of everything, I mean everything. Went again the other day and the story is the same, they were out of pork and ribs, thankfully we got the last order of brisket before they ran OUT of that too! Apparently this is the norm for this place they say it happens all the time and to come earlier. I just don't understand how a bbq place doesn't have pork, brisket or, ribs lol. However I really did enjoy my brisket sandwich with the fried egg which is why it get 3 stars. My fiancé didn't care for his sandwich and our tacos just tasted charred, no flavor. Sad to say but we will never be back.
(3)Brandi F.
So in love with this place! The portions are huge, the prices are low and the flavor on everything is so unique. I've had the plain jane barbakoa sandwich, which is not "plain" in any sense of the word between the hawaiian bread it's served on, the sweet bbq sauce it's covered in or the apple fennel slaw topping. I've also tried their pork belly taco and one of their chicken tacos (the one with charred pineapple salsa) and they were great. The only thing is I ordered those to-go and they don't come pre wrapped so they were pretty messy by the time I got home. I would've appreciated a heads up from staff about that. One of my favorite things from there is the side of corn on the cob which is covered in cheese and seasonings and I find myself craving that all the time. The decor inside and on the patio is very modern meets farmhouse and they have all these great pig themed details through out. Service has been great there and even when they have lines to the door, they are still quick about getting their food out and offered me a drink while I waited.
(5)Bunny N.
Pig Floyd is located at the intersection of Virginia and Mills, and area where I travel often. I ventured in looking for some dinner but did not know what to expect since I did not look up any reviews before hand. When walking through the door, servers passing by greet you while they are on their way delivering food to their patron. You first line up and place your order at the register and they bring your food to you. Once you sit down, servers will check up on you with refills of your drink. I ordered two tacos with pork belly. Sooo good but it was not filling. So if you are hungry, be sure you order their meals that include sides. The restaurant itself is clean, and simple. The staff is friendly and helpful when you have questions about the food. I will go here again!
(4)Matt B.
I have taken up a 2nd residence at Pig Floyd's since my first bite of BBQ goodness just a few short weeks ago... I rotate between a few meat-laden sandwiches on the menu but always pair it with the yuca fries...you MUST try the yuca fries with the dipping sauce. It is amazing! I haven't had anything I didn't like and they have an excellent beer selection for a fast-casual place. The staff is always helpful so I guess my only gripe is that it is pretty loud in the building and there isn't much seating. There was a hyena sitting behind us the last time and whenever her hipster friends made a joke, it sounded like a cross between a velociraptor and a whooping crane. A must try for anybody with tastebuds...which includes you. So go...now...
(5)Kris C.
Went here on a Monday night. We happened to be in the neighborhood and did a Yelp search. Not overly crowded and they have a great outside eating space. Decent food, good quality, fun atmosphere. Wait staff attentive and friendly...they were super patient with my indecicive 6y/o! Would definitely come again (and get the ribs!) My son got the ribs (tender and tasty). My partner got the Big Floyd (big and tasty). I chose a totally random dish for a BBQ joint...curry pork under rice. Very flavorful but a bit too spicy for my taste.
(4)Kari L.
This place has it. The food. The ambience. The engaging owner touching every table. The reviews are spot on: get the butter chicken taco, the yuca fries -- you won't be disappointed. I had one of each taco (there are 4 kinds), and til now, I have trouble deciding which was my favorite. My other half had a BBQ plate with the brisket and pulled pork -- and they were both phenomenal. This place blows 4Rivers out of the water.
(5)Javier R.
We drove past this place a couple of weeks ago and I thought the name and sign were interesting. We looked at the menu online and everything looked and sounded delicious. Today we were finally in this part of town again and we decided to come and try it out. Boy am I glad we did. Everything we ordered was incredible. The kind of food that makes you sad when you're done eating it. And the prices were affordable. Great music and atmosphere too. I HIGHLY recommend it.
(5)Yari R.
OH MY GOD!! How is it possible that every single dish we had was absolutely on point?! Let me tell you how good the food is. One of the members of our party was an 11-year-old who is extremely fashionable and takes very good care of her appearance; it's very disturbing to me to describe an 11-year-old is this way, but that's who she is. Anywhoo, she ordered the ribs with fries and the corn on the cob. Half way through her meal she spilled the entire thing of bbq sauce that comes with the platter on her shirt and her very white shorts. Not once did she stop eating. She said her food was so god she couldn't put it down and neither did the rest of us. Lol. She sat there the entire time covered in bbq sauce because we just could not stop eating the deliciousness in front of us. I had the Barbakoa Bahn Mi which has a freakishly delicious white bbq sauce called the Lucky Dragon Sauce (amazing!) and a side of the fried plaintains. My BF, as well as the rest of our party, had the pulled pork platter with the corn on the cob & rice & black beans. Be aware that there also some specials on the wall when you walk in. We noticed it after we looked at the menu and everything sounded so good we had a really hard making a decision. Also, it's pretty busy. We first tried to go on a Saturday around 1:00pm and the line was all the way out the door and around the back. We decided not stop by that day because it's extremely hot out and we figured we would probably end up with one of the outside tables. We tried again on Sunday around the same time the line wasn't as long and we were able to get a table inside. That would be my only gripe about this place; there aren't that many tables inside. Who wants to sit outside when it's 300 degrees outside?

I was a long time fan of another local bbq place in Orlando but Pig Floyds has replaced it. This place is a fusion of BBQ and Mexican cuisine. So I had a half rack ribs. They were dry rubbed and really just didn't need anything else on them. Super good seasoning. I also had the Pork Belly taco which was good, but I really enjoyed the Shrimp and Chorizo and also the Butter Chicken taco. They were amazing! Also try the Yuca fries and the corn on the cob. You will love this place!
(5)Lai S.
Good service, reasonably priced, and good ambiance.. Overall cool place.. My husband loved the big Floyd he got.. It wasn't dry nor extremely wet.. Not salty.. Not bland-- good! I had the chicken al pastor, pork belly, and shrimp and sausage taco with a side grilled corn.. I was disappointed.. Corn was bland with really small kernels.. Shrimp and sausage taco had no shrimp in it.. I thought it was probably minced bc I didn't see any.. When I tasted it I knew immediately there weren't any shrimp.. Then I looked at everyone else's pictures here on the good old yelp.. It was good but if I wanted a sausage taco I would've said hold the shrimp; which I didn't. The chicken al pastor was a bit weird tasting and extremely wet.. I took a bite and decided it wasn't for me. I really liked the pork belly taco! Delicious! But in my opinion id say this place is 3 1/2 star

Before coming to the restaurant we checked Yelp and saw that there were really positive reviews so we were excited to go there. The major nod to Pink Floyd in the name gave me hopes of dining by their music or at least rock/jazz music from the 70s. When I pulled up, country music was playing outside the restaurant and I was a little bummed about that. As I walked through the outside dining area and into the restaurant the overall feeling was casual Florida, peaceful, diner-style. Not fancy at all, very "local". I met friends who also were experiencing the place for the first time. A nice waiter came over and we ordered beer, soft drinks and iced tea. We relaxed for a few minutes and then went up to the counter to order our meals. We paid and went to sit down. Before we could even sit, the waiter was behind us with our orders. Clearly everything was ready to go so zero waiting. Our table ordered The Big Floyd, the cheese steak and one of the brisket rice bowls from the "special" wall menu. We were all underwhelmed. The food was not good. The best we could say was the food was OK. None of us will return. It was disappointing.

This cute little restaurant is a great place to go for a quick bbq bite. I really like their pig logo. I think it's very cute! I don't understand why their website still says coming soon. It's been a while now, but they are pretty active on the Facebook page. I ordered the pork belly taco and the butter chicken tacos. Love them both! The reasons is because I love all the ingredients they put inside. They are perfect. I love the citrus peanut slaw that's in the pork belly taco. The pork belly was melt in the mouth soft but the peanut slaw gave the taco a crunch. For the butter chicken taco, I just love the combination of the rice, jalapeno and the sauce. They are both seasoned perfectly. I wish I ordered more. Good service. There were people coming to our table to check on us a few times. The manager also came and asked if we liked the food. Tips: There's minimal parking at this restaurant, but there's a plaza only a minute walk away from it.

The fact that this place has only been opened for 6 months and has 220 reviews speaks volumes. This is great counter service BBQ. Almost everything we ordered was awesome. The pulled pork was moist and smoky. The brisket had a little fat gristle but was good. The big Floyd is a pork beef and sausage sandwich with a coconut pineapple roll. The corn and plantains were Amazing! I will definitely come back and try their other stuff.
(4)Andrew F.
Food is excellent. I always judge a place on their fries. They were crispy, golden, and seasoned beautifully. Fries aren't hard to make, they just require attention. When you get soggy fries, someone didn't care enough about what they were sending out. When fries are on point, the rest of the food tends to be as well. This place reminded me of a more spanish-themed 4rivers. They were out of tres leches when I went :( Anyways, this place takes food seriously.
(5)Anthony D.
Boutique Tacos! This is the taco equivalent of the high-end boutique burger chains everywhere. Seriously amazing food!
(5)Steve K.
Had the Matahambre sandwich w/ smoked brisket.... amazing. Fried plantains were really good also.
(5)Sandra M.
Of all the places I ate out at during my 1 week stay in Orlando, this was my favorite or at least top 2. Loved the corn side. I had the mixed platter. Also at the top is Pio Pio...such yummy chicken. I think I like their yucca fries better, but both were awesome.
(5)Danielle D.
Food was fantastic! Pulled pork sandwich came with tangy coleslaw (vinegar based) and sauce on the side. Portion was huge, I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Switched out fries for grilled corn on the cob and I was disappointed. Corn was cold although looked delicious. Ended up cutting it off with a knife to make eating it easier and it really was a lousy portion. My boyfriend got the fries and I would have stuck with those. Plantains were on point though! As far as service goes the food came out quick! Who I'm assuming is the owner, was standing around the dining area greeting guests, asking how their meal was and then thanking them for coming on their way out. I was impressed by that but also disappointed that my table was not spoken to once, except by a bus boy who asked if I was done half way through my meal. We felt rushed out and neglected however the food was delicious.

An absolutely solid BBQ choice. Stopped in on a Friday night at dinner time and the place wasn't too crowded. We waited a few minutes in line to order at the counter and then chose our seats outside. Like many fast-casual places these days, we were given a number placard, and the food and drinks were brought to us shortly afterwards. The decor was pleasant, but kind of non-descript. The interior didn't really look like anything. The outside deck was about the same. The only thing about the entire restaurant that made it feel like a BBQ place was the big pig logo on the wall outside. Everyone we dealt with was a pleasure. We had two separate wait-staff help us, and a staff member who seemed to be a manager came around to make sure everything was good. The plates of food were large, especially for the price. Often times, BBQ places give you what appears to be less food because it tends to be really filling - not Pig Floyd's. Tons of food. I may have left a few bites uneaten. We ordered the brisket and pulled pork. Both were excellent. For the side of roast corn, we were expecting a big heap of corn kernels. Nope, you get an entire ear of it still on the cob. It was delicious. My wife says this still isn't her new favorite place in Orlando, but you can't go wrong here.
(4)Lilian C.
Pork belly tacos to die for! Great menu and everything was delicious! Try the Yuka fries! Staff was attentive and very nice.
(5)Susan L.
I wish my husband and I had visited here before we gave up eating mammal. I had read in the Orlando Weekly about 10 cheap eats to try. One was the butter chicken tacos so we gave that and the chicken al pastor tacos. Both were terrific and finely crafted. The Al pastor had a Lovely brightness while the butter chicken were rich with the right amount of heat. I was happy to see they offer tofu as alternative. Worth a try on the coconut bun. Meals with sides are very reasonable. Look forward to our next visit
(4)Darren O.
This is bbq on a different level with great combinations of fresh, vibrant ingredients. I've had everything on the menu and it all was absolutely delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are plentiful. The atmosphere is great, very laid back and I enjoy the outside patio seating as well. A few of my favorites that I tend to repeat are the shrimp and sausage tacos, butter chicken tacos, the ribs, mills 50 cheese steak, fried yuca, corn on the cob and the black beans and rice. This is not your typical bbq joint but be prepared to have your taste buds wowed!

Amazing! Super cute restaurant with a good ambiance. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food is super goof. I had 3 different tacos. The chorizo and sausage was by far the best one. I also had the chicken al pastor and brisket they were both really good as well. I couldn't resist the corn on the cob and i wasnt wrong it was perfectly roasted. My son got the big floyd sandwich with fries it was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches i have tasted. The fries are super light and crunchy. This place is a must.

This place has the most amazing corn on the cob! Everything was delicious and super affordable for what you get. It's definitely amazing.
(4)Suzette W.
The atmosphere is amazing and the food is tasty. The staff was fun and quick. Very trendy. I would definitely come here again!

Simple yet diverse menu, super friendly staff who continually checked in to see if we needed anything. I had a pork belly taco, butter chicken taco, apple fennel salad and grilled corn. My friend had the ribs, corn and yucca fries. She has a food allergy and she asked about certain items even the person taking our order was well informed of the ingredients Every single thing we tasted was exciting & delicious. All cooked to perfection, well-seasoned and nothing we ordered felt like a menu afterthought. This is a place I will become a regular at for a two reasons... #1 - fresh, inspiring food, #2 - welcoming atmosphere with great people. Great owner & family and happy to support local businesses! Keep it coming.

My favorite spot on Mills 50 by a long shot. This place is some Utopian version of what would happen if Puerto Rico and Texas and their friends created a new cuisine. A+ smoked brisket on a taco with yucca frita and fancy sauce is my favorite, but he Mills 50 cheese steak holds its own. This is seriously good food. It's everything I hoped Tako Cheena would be but isn't (sorry Tako Cheena). Their menu is creative and they seal the deal with spot on execution every time. The owners and chef come out and talk to the customers and that's a huge plus in my book, plus they have a nice craft beer selection. The outdoor seating is great if it isn't too hot out. I always try to find some areas for improvement so here goes: I find it usually takes a lot longer to order than it seems like it should. Several times I've been there is a line out the door, but only 1 person taking orders. Maybe that's all the kitchen can keep up with, so they don't add another cashier, but it's frustrating. I have to admit the food is worth the wait though.

I FINALLY got to try this place out a month ago, for my birthday. I've been dying to go, just never had the opportunity. We were driving around forever on a Monday - my birthday - trying to find a place to go for lunch. Everywhere we usually go was SLAMMED. This was a late lunch for us, like 1:30pm. So I expected most places to have calmed down....not the case. So, we FINALLY said "DUH! Let's finally check Pig Floyd's out!" There was, of course a long line. But, I was sick of driving around trying to find somewhere yummy to eat. I had the pork belly and Shrimp and Sausage Tacos. Oh. My. God. They were insanely good. I'm a huge fan of Tako Cheena right up the road, but these tacos were giving them a run for their money. LOVE having these options. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce on both was perfectly complimenting. The service was good, given the rush. I've heard it can be slow and they can run out of menu items. I guess they got all the kinks worked out because, it was smooth. I'm really looking forward to going back to try more of their delicious menu soon!.

I'm happy to see someone standing up to the BBQ titan of Central Florida! The menu creativity is great, but the food quality is spotty. The butter chicken taco is so interesting and definitely my favorite thing on the menu. Brisket is dry more often than it's not. Also, I've seen the service staff act rude not only to guests, but to each other, and it's been awkward. Parking is tough, but it's better than some of the other spots on Mills.

My wife and decided on Pig Floyd's for something new and different. Following the lead of the Orlando Sentinel Food Critic, Heather McPherson, I opted for the Pork Belly Taco; and, the Taco with Beef Brisket. My wife decided on the Beef Brisket Platter with Mexican Street Corn; and, Sweet Coleslaw. The list of Craft Beers and Ciders is considerable, so I opted for a Black Lager; and, my wife chose a Pear Cider. We enjoyed everything so much, we took a pound of brisket and a half-slab of ribs home to enjoy at our leisure!

This place has so much potential. I just want to say that this 3 star does not do it justice. So I came here with friends on a Saturday night at 8pm and they told us that they ran out of ribs and pulled pork... And this place supposed to know for the pork. In my opinion, They should had learn after being open for 5 months. They should know that they are getting more popular and how to prepare themselves on day in and day out basis. They need to forecast better with their inventory. I know it is is hard speaking from experience. But they have to take a stab of a different method. It is crucial to try to get it right because they are losing a lot business. Right now they have a good reputation. So for now I will give it a 3 star because I have not tried to their signature dishes. It hurts me to give them a 3 star because they have the potential to be 4 or 5 start. However, I cannot completely judge the place without trying their signature dishes. Food: 4/5 Ordered Two pork belly tacos, 1 la vaca taco, 1 butter chicken taco, and a meal smoked brisket w fried yuca and seasoned veggies . I used three of their sauces were chimichurri sauce, fancy sauce and tikka masala sauce. I did not go easy on my first time here. I spent roughly $33 to try their stuff. They were all pretty decent. I enjoyed the smoked brisket the most because it was really flavorful and not too salty. their fried yuca was super fresh. I did enjoy the hispanic mixed with southern style and a bit of India still cuisine in my food. Surprisingly, it went well together. Service: 3/5 Food was great, Service was not so great. It took them a while to get through the long lines with only two cashier. I think we were in line for like 15-18 minutes before we ordered. Then an additional, 12-15 minutes before we got our food. They need to fix this because if this happened during lunch time, and people have to work. They won't get many customers during lunch time. They are in a good spot where people from winter park, downtown, and 50 mills district can come over to eat their lunch. Atmosphere: 4/5 Great atmosphere with the outdoor sitting. They had umbrellas and heater. However, their indoor area of siting is very limited. Although they had a cool open kitchen set up and TVs. We sat outside with the heater and it felt amazing! It is a super clean place and they cleaned up the table fast. I have to come back here to try out their signature dishes to re-rate this place. Like I said, they need to fix their kinks fast..... It does have potential to be amazing! So watch out 4 rivers! you might have a new competitor in town! but now if they offered smoked wings..... ;-) haha

First timer here and everything was delicious!!! Ordered pulled pork platter, whole rack of ribs, roasted chicken, sides of their popular corn on the cob, cole slaw, fries, and plantains. We also ordered rice and beans but sadly they ran out. The ribs were so good we ordered a second round of a whole rack. It was packed with flavor and fall of the bone deliciousness. The chicken was nicely roasted and moist. Overall a nice experience and will definitely be returning to try out more dishes.
(5)Thomas C.
Amazing place! If in Orlando area you have to try it. Urban upscale atmosphere. Great service. Menu has a Latin flair to it and everything we tried was delicious! Definitely on the list of places to go back to.

After a few hiccups service-wise during its initial weeks opening, Pig Floyd's has hit its stride. Yes, you've got to try the brisket that the other reviewers are raving about. It's wonderful. My favorite on the menu, however, is the butter chicken taco, a spicy chicken tikka with jalapeno. For the pork belly fanatics, the pork belly taco is also legit. Also: outdoor seating and great beers on tap! Excellent spot for lunch and for Sunday fundays.

I finally got to try Pig Floyd's bbq. My friend Tara is friends with the owner Thomas. He was great to us while we were there and let us know he plans to open 15 more Pig Floyd's within the next 5 years. After trying the bbq I can see it's a solid business plan. Their second location will likely be in waterford lakes. I'd like them to upgrade their website with a menu but I can vividly remember that I wanted a banana pudding dessert that they were out of and Thomas promised to send me one in Chicago. I had a combo platter of the pulled pork and the brisket. Both were really good and tasty even without a sauce. The sweet sauce wasn't very sweet. I got the corn on the cob and fries both of which were on point. Tara forced me to try the yucca fries which I wish I had gotten instead of my french fried potatoes and she also got plantains which were very good. I will also definitely make Pig Floyd's a regular stop when I am back in Orlando. Gotta try that Banana Pudding!

Disclaimer: I am a vegetarian, so I can't review their meat. I seriously debated even writing a review for that reason. BUT, they'll sub tofu for any meat for no extra charge! So they get serious bonus points for that. Unfortunately, their tofu is a bit lacking. It's not pressed or dense and doesn't seem to be seasoned like the meats. I won't fault them too much on that since I might be the only one who subs tofu so I can't expect them to have marinated tofu lying around all the time. They have inventive tacos with different meats and styles (chicken al pastor with pineapples or tandoori chicken for example). The fried yuca is amazing, but I definitely ate too many and felt sick later so be warned: you'll want to eat them forever but definitely don't. Finally, they have a great outdoor area with several tables, umbrellas, and bistro lights overhead. They've definitely made good use out of what was previously wasted space. The location/space definitely bumps them up a star. And they've got a few great beers on tap!
(4)Kelley T.
This place was pretty busy when we went, but the food was so worth the wait! The ribs were delicious, but it can be a little too sweet for me. I still enjoyed it because the meat was fall off the bone and not dried up. Their corn is soooo delicious! The chicken is a bit dry, so I wouldn't be ordering that again next time I go.
(4)Patrick B.
Had the brisket sandwich It was very good but the grilled vegetables were barely cooked and they gave me one small portion of bbq sauce. The service isn't great. Has potential but owner needs to hire more staff and not be stingy with bbq sauce
(3)Jessica M.
Delicious BBQ in the Mills50 area with very nice staff and a beautiful outdoor patio area. They also have a few good beers on tap, I think I drank Bells 2Hearted the last time I was there. I love the twists on traditional BBQ they do here, giving it a bit of a Mexican flair if so desired. Great spot to bike to in a fun neighborhood with lots of stuff to do all around. I have been a few times now and every meal has been really delicious.
(4)Keats H.
The tofu tacos are great! This place isn't just for meat eaters. I've been here twice and I would definitely go again!

Butter chicken taco...you've never had it, but you want it! Tried this place for lunch on a Sunday. Nice, cozy place and loved the small enclosed patio seating. The patio really felt insulated from the traffic noise of Mills Avenue and lots of big, shady umbrellas. It felt so nice to sit outside. You head inside and order in the check out line, pay, then you get a number and wait for your order. There is also a "to-go" window on the patio. Our order for ribs came out in an impressive couple of minutes, the tacos came out about ten minutes later. The 1/2 rack of ribs with two sides is a really ample meal. The ribs are served on a whimsical wooden pig-shaped cutting board. Great ribs!!! The side of fennel apple slaw is crunchy, tart, and so refreshing. The grilled veggies are good, I liked the brussel sprouts in the mix. The three tacos I ordered were great for a less hearty meal, still filling-but not as heavy duty as ribs. I LOVE the butter chicken taco. I also asked for the chimmichuri sauce and that was super on the tacos. Felt "eh" on the pork belly taco. It was good but not to into pork belly. Also found this taco's citrusy sauce a little too sweet for my liking. My husband liked it. The beer, cider, and desserts are served in mason jars, which is fun. We tried the Black and Tan dessert which is like a brownie and chocolate chip cookie combo. Interesting, very sweet and rich, so it's good to share for a bite or two. The service after getting food was sort of hit or miss, they were really busy and hustling to get orders out. I was unsure if we needed to go inside to ask for more drinks and refills, or if the servers should have offered. Still not sure so I stepped inside to ask for a refill. I'm sure that will get worked out over time, but the process was unclear. I really like this place and can't want to come back and try the barbakoa báhn mì or the BBQ chili.
(4)Jill W.
Delicious food. Even my picky children ate all of their chicken and corn cob. Pulled pork sandwich, chicken masala tacos and side dishes were all yummy. They were busy but efficient and friendly with customers. Good selection of craft beers. I will go back when in town.

Hands down the best meal I had while I was in Orlando! And to think, I almost didn't eat here. The first night I showed up right at closing. Luckily, I ended up dining here on my second attempt. This was the first time that I've been to a barbecue joint that had a Latin flare. On top of the traditional barbecue meats, they also serve tacos. Some of the side dishes are Latin in origin. I ordered a rack of ribs, corn on the cob, plantains, and fries. The ribs were delicious. They had beautiful ruby red hue. The oak wood gave it the right amount of smoke flavoring. My corn on the cob was sublime. The first piece I had was cold, but it was so good, I didn't really care too much about it being cold. The corn was seasoned perfectly and is sprinkled with cotija cheese and cilantro. Everyone at our table gobbled up the fries. They were delicious. Normally, the want-to-be chef inside of me can usually pick out seasonings, but these fries had me stumped. I could not figure out their secret. The plantains were spot on! The interior is somewhat rustic meets industrial and it is not is not very big. They do have outside dinning options. The customer service was excellent. The owner goes around asking people about their meal. Of course when he came to our table I told him everything was great. So then he asked me was there anything that I didn't like. I told him that my corn was cold. He made sure that I had another piece of corn to take home with me - on the house. Now that's what I call EXCELLENT customer service! Next time I'm in Orlando, I will be dinning here again!

Delicious food and cool atmosphere! I had tried a sandwich from here at a foodie event in Miami so I knew that I had to try to restaurant one day and yesterday was the day. All of the staff was very friends and the menu is to the point with many great options. We tried the first sandwich on the menu, I forget the exact name, but it had pork, brisket, sausage, and even french fries on the sandwich! It was served with a delicious BBQ type sauce. We also tried the ribs. All I can say is, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIBS. Wow, they were so so good! I can't wait to come back to this place.
(5)Beau A.
The food is good, it is a different type of BBQ (Caribbean/Latin), but if you are in the mood for something different this is a great place. I highly recommend the pork belly taco! There is limited inside seating, so if it is a really hot day, you might need to get it to go. The place is packed around lunch time. Limited parking as well, but they have a quick and easy to-go window if it is too packed.
(4)Antoinette B.
BBQ is great here. Unique sides such as a the grilled corn with seasonings and really interesting and affordable tacos such as pork belly. Will def go back to try more !
(4)Jillian C.
Hubby and I had been dying to try this place. We love Latin food, and we also love us some BBQ. When we found out Pig Floyd's combines the two, all we could say was hell yeah! We stopped in for dinner on Friday. After reading the other reviews, we were expecting to wait a bit. We actually didn't have to wait in line that long, but I think we got lucky, because when we were leaving the line was out the door. You order and pay at the counter, then you're given a number to take to your table. Wait staff bring out your food once it's ready. The place is on the smaller side, but they have both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit inside, as it was chilly out. After sitting for a couple of minutes I started to wonder when our drinks would arrive. I think the owner literally read my mind, because he walked over to our table after he saw we had no drinks. He was very friendly and personally went to get our drinks for us. I was impressed that he took the time to do this, as the place was slammed. Hubby tried one of the beers on tap and I went with a pear cider from Sweden that I'd never tried before. I enjoy cider quite a bit, so I always love it when a place has something other than just Woodchuck or Angry Orchard. For food we ordered two different platters to share...1/2 a chicken with fries and corn on the cob, and a combo of brisket and pulled pork with rice, beans and plantains. They have 5 or 6 different sauces to choose from. We picked hot BBQ, sweet BBQ and chimichurri. Everything was delish! You could really taste Latin flavors in the rub used for the chicken, and the BBQ sauces. Our food also came with some flour tortillas on the side, which I loved. The chicken and pork were definitely our favorites. For me, a bite of smoked pork topped with rice and beans, and a dollop of chimichurri was where it's at! Both hubby and I thought the brisket was just okay...however we did just get back from Texas, where we had some of the best brisket we've ever tasted, so the bar was set pretty darn high. While we were eating, the owner stopped by again to ask how everything was. You can tell he really cares about his business. Overall we very much enjoyed our experience at Pig Floyd's and will 100% be back. I look forward to trying the ribs and tacos.

Right by LHP so I got dinner on my way to pick up my son. I had a pork belly taco and a couple of chicken ones too. The grilled corn was better than I make. The best thing was the service. I have a kid with a peanut allergy and the pork belly has a peanut sauce on it. I know yum. I told the cashier and he wrote it up then went back and explained to the chef. They went through the trouble of wiping down just to be careful. Bravo boys bravo. You won me over before I tasted the food.
(5)Justin M.
Food was GREAT. Everything you could ask for. Unfortunately I had to eat it without the luxury of a cold beverage as it took 25 min to get a refill
(3)David B.
Great little place. The tacos are where it's at!
(4)Allyson B.
I was really excited about Pig Floyd's opening and I really wanted to like this place. But I've been here a few times now and I have to admit that the food lacks consistency. The flavors are good but it's been a hit or miss almost every time. I think they've had enough time to work out the kinks since they've opened. Chicken al pastor tacos - By the time I got my taco the chicken was slightly warm almost cold :/ and the chicken could have used a little more seasoning. Ultimately it tasted like grilled chicken with pineapple sauce served in a tortilla. Pork belly tacos - I love pork belly. But this pork belly was a no go. Firstly, I would have loved to have been served hot food. Cold pork belly has an undesirable texture and chewiness to it :( Butter chicken tacos - I've had this about 6-7 times now and each time has been a hit or miss. Either you get a mouthful of flavor or a mouthful of jalapeño and nothing else. The spiced chicken tikka is excellent on a good day! But on a bad day you could get a cold skimpy taco with a dollop Greek yogurt, a teensy piece of chicken, cilantro, and 3 or 4 big slices of jalapeño. Ehhhh not my kind of taco Rice & black beans - sooooooo overly salty I couldn't take more than 2-3 bites. Yucca fries - I love the yucca fries and the yummy dipping sauce that comes with it!!!! The first time I had it I was all for it. The second time -- miss. The third time-- mehh. The fourth time-- okay. The fifth time-- not even fried well. I think you're starting to catch my inconsistency drift now. My purpose of this review is not trying to bash on the restaurant but to maybe get them to reevaluate the quality and consistency of their food.
(2)Trung N.
So I've been hearing about this place and had to check it out. We sat in the outdoor area which was really nice. They have umbrellas and you won't miss the little cactus as table decoration. The half rack of ribs are killer! I am definitely eating that on another visit. I did think the Black & Tan dessert was a bit thick. I will have to report more after my next visit. I did notice their ordering was a bit slow. It might have been because people didn't know what to order but just a heads up.
(4)Sonia K.
Been wanting to try this place out and it did not disappoint! Great food, great service - can't beat that!
(5)Madison P.
My boyfriend and I gave Pig Floyd's another chance last night. We were not disappointed. We got there about 20 minutes before closing (sorry) but we received our food within 5 minutes of ordering. Last night I went for the chicken al pastor and the chicken butter taco again. This time I wasn't a fan of the chicken butter. I think the tikka is too much for me...I need to be in the mood for it. Everything else was good though. I'd get it again without the tikka and I'm sure I'd love it. The chicken al pastor was amazing! That's my favorite so far. My boyfriend had the half chicken with the spices. Wow. That was really tasty too. I ordered the veggies again and finally got to try them...not a fan. The veggies themselves weren't the problem. It was the vinegar all over them. I despise vinegar. It would've been nice to know prior to ordering them that they were covered in vinegar, especially since grilled veggies don't usually have vinegar on them. The food is tasty, the service was very good this time, and I left full.
(4)Ralph P.
I did not know what to expect when i walked in. Well, I kind of expected the traditional barbecue with a couple of twists. LMAO, not even close. This place is totally unique. The wife and i had 2 different main courses with 2 different sides and it was all VERY good. We also saw some other dishes go out as we sat at the bar facing the kitchen and want to try them the next time we are there. I don't know how to really describe the food except it is kind of barbecue but with an island twist. Also, go there thirsty. They have one of the best beer and wine selections that I have seen in Orlando. Go there with an open mind please, They have brisket but not like you have had it before and a bunch of other really great stuff. Heck, they ask if you want your fries sweet or spicy, that should give you a clue. I highly recommend this place.
(5)Drea W.
So pleased Orlando's food scene is getting up there. We could use a spot like this in East Orlando! Cool ambience, pleasant attentive staff and very tasty food; everyone at the table was happy. The brisket was very moist. Great spin on the cole slaw. Will definitely return. Next time I'll ask for slaw on a separate plate so the juices don't mix with the rest of the food and make the crispy yucca soggy. This place is on par with similar Chicago eateries.
(4)Linda N.
Got a combo plate with the beef and pulled pork with fried yucca, fried plantains and corn on the cob. The beef, fried yucca and fried plantains were delicious. Asked for both the spicy and the sweet bbq sauces which were both good (the spicy was had a strong vinegar base). The pulled pork was dry and the corn wasn't that impressive. It was good but I was hoping for a new flavor, which it wasn't. Overall, a great meal.
(4)Allan W.
Only 4 stars not for any reason other than I have to eat there again to confirm the 5th! There is not a negative thing about this place! Fresh, hot, flavorful, friendly, and fast! Nice lil place. I was referred by a local rocker who frequents excellent eateries! One note: ALWAYS check the special board....there is something for everyone! Excellent job Thomas.
(4)Gloria F.
So many items on the menu I want to try, so today, I started with the Pork Belly Taco and the Butter Chicken Taco. The Pork Belly was a nice thick slice that filled the tortilla end to end and was covered with a Citrus peanut slaw. Very good. A nice crunch from the slaw and then the tender bite of the pork belly worked very well together. The Butter Chicken Taco hit all the right notes for an Indian inspired taco. The chicken was tender and the sauce was creamy and just when you thought it was just too much, the yogurt and jalapenos added some tang and heat. Overall I enjoyed my food. The service was friendly. Through out my time there I was approached by 4 different staff members asking if I needed anything or if I needed a refill when they saw my glass low. I liked that I did not have to wait for any 1 specific person assigned to my area before I got service. The menu is available on the wall when you walk in and also available at the register. You order and pay then have a seat. They bring the food out to you. There is in-door and out-door seating available. The inside is very clean and comfortable. I walked through the patio area to get to the door and that area looked very nice. Overall I will go back and bring friends with me.

Holy cow this place is amazing. You know food is good when you are thinking about it the next day. This place is quite unique in regards to the flavor combinations yet simple enough where anyone can enjoy it. I had the Big Floyd sandwich and a side of fried plantains. Probably the best plantains I've ever had and certainly the best sandwich I have had in quite a long time. The blackberry cider was also fantastic. One complaint is that there weren't really any meat combo platters. I got the sandwich simply because it had a variety of meats on it. I'm sure I will be back soon. Prices are also pretty reasonable. I didn't think I would find a place I liked more than 4 Rivers for BBQ, but this may just be it.
(5)Isabelo A.
This a great place in the mills area . Service is quick the food are seasoned well and really fresh . Highly recommend the ribs seasoned just right and smoked so well it falls of the bones
(5)Joyce W.
Best BBQ. I have had and I have had BBQ from Texas to North Carolina. The meat is so fresh and the chicken amazing! Great atmosphere and service! Don't miss out on this place!
(5)Shasha T.
WOW, we really enjoyed Pig Floyds Urban Barbakoa. The menu isn't that of a typical BBQ joint. While the aroma from the real oak smoker might seem typical enough, it's what happens after the meats are smoked that makes PF unique. They have taken the flavors of traditional BBQ & combined them with non traditional flavors, like the Butter Chicken Tacos, featuring grilled chicken blended with sauce from Indian Makhani chicken, not at all buttery. Served on a tortilla, garnished with cilantro & pumpkin seeds, it was a delicious bargain at $2.70. We also had the Barbakoa Ban Mi, ($7) with tender moist grilled pulled meat on a roll that was similar to well made brioche. Like traditional ban mi, it was garnished with cucumber & carrots that had been lightly pickeled, giving the sandwich nice texture & a hit of acid & sweetness. We also tried the Big Floyd ($9) a 3 meat monster sandwich. The grilled brisket, pork & ? were tender & lean, cooked perfectly, garnished with more vegetables, jalepenos & french fries, served on a bun that reminded me of Portuguese sweet bread or brioche. The sides were good, too. We had grilled corn on the cob, 5 stars there, and beans & rice, all really good. And the beer & wine list sounded great, with prices starting at $4, but we didn't imbibe. The menu is truly inspired, changing often, with many other very interesting options, but you can only eat so much in a day. We found the portions large enough to need to go boxes. Looking forward to returning to try Pigs their other offerings. Pig Floyds is surrounded by many really interesting highly rated restaurants, diners cafes breweries, wineries, etc. The area is like a freaking theme park for funky food & drink. I wish we could have tried more, but again, you can only eat so much each day. However, I really love where this neighborhood is going for the most part. Lots of awesome little quirky places, and then that big honking ugly boxy building at Mills / Nebraska. Hands down, its the creative dining epicenter of central Florida / Orlando area. Sanford area restaurateurs, PLEASE take note. We need some innovative inspired original options here. Everyone should try Pig Floyds.
(4)Isael S.
Great place, great service, delicious food. We had a little bit of everything. The brisket platter is amazing, my friends also had the sandwich and was equally tasty. The butter chicken tacos I had were fantastic, moist, spicy enough, I loved it, even the grilled vegetables. Keep it up guys.
(5)Douglas A.
Best ribs I've ever had I'm my life! No Joke! The owner is really nice too, he walked to our table and introduced himself, staff was very welcoming. We loved it and will definitely come back again!
(5)Abhishek C.
Outstanding butter chicken and pork belly tacos. Best black beans and rice that I've eaten. Easily the best meal I've had in Orlando till now. A must try...
(5)Liz D.
Not even in the same ballpark as 4rivers. It was so hot in the place I sweated the entire time.
(3)Daphni E.
Really cute place with outdoor seating as well. I had the Chicken Al Pastor and Butter Chicken tacos, which were okay. I do have to point out that Pig Floyd's does butter chicken better than Tako Cheena. My friends had the Big Floyd and Hunger Killer sandwiches. Both said their food was alright, but nothing special. The meat was a tad on the dry side and both gentlemen were still hungry after their meal.
(3)Longwood R.
Yes...we loved it. There's more to BBQ than Bubba Lou's and 4 Rivers. Give it a shot...explore.
(4)Kevin O.
It would have been a 5 star review but they ran out of ribs the night I went! Food and service was excellent! I will definitely be back!
(4)Lydia C.
Stopped in for a late night dinner and ordered the barbakoa banh mi which comes loaded with lots of delicious smoked pork, pickled carrots, cucumber, jalapeno and cilantro. The sandwich was delicious and super flavorful. The fries were seasoned and crispy. Service was friendly and we sat in the lovely outdoor patio since the weather was really nice. I can't wait to go back!

Tonight was my first visit. I was excited to try a new place and I've heard a lot of people rave about Pig Floyd's. I can only give it 3 stars though, it wasn't great. Tonight was just an okay food experience. Their plantains and fries are good, but I am not a fan of the seasoning they use on their pulled chicken. The sauce that came out with my platter was also just not good. According to my dad, the brisket was a little too fatty tonight. My dad is not a foodie which means he's not picky, so for him to say it was too fatty and just alright, I know my opinion is not biased. If I go back, I know to order the ribs. The ribs were much better, the sauce was sweet and had a better flavor. They were a little tough, but better. I honestly don't think I will go back, I am just not a fan of their "flavor."

Holy crap. Visiting from Denver and tried to find someplace on yelp to try and wow... This place is fantastic!

It was hard to decide if Pig Floyd's should get 3 or 4 stars. I ordered the ribs and they were pretty good. I also got a side of sweet bbq sauce. It was not very good. In fact I tried 2 or 3 other bbq sauces at Pig Flyod's and they were all pretty bad. For some reason the ribs still tasted good. I however did not add any extra sauce to them. I also got a side of plantains and corn. Both were good. The rest of my party really enjoyed their food. A big issue they seemed to have was ordering. They had lots of open tables and a long line going to the door. They had just 1 cashier taking orders and it seemed to take forever to place a order. Once we placed our order the food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

The Big Floyd: brisket, pulled pork, sausage, homemade sweet BBQ sauce, slaw, with french fries on a toasted coconut pineapple roll. This sandwich was heavenly. The patio area is spacious and perfect for that evening out. All of their tacos from the pork belly, shrimp and sausage, and butter chicken taco are all excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price, a sandwich or taco no more than $10, will fill you up and leave your stomach satisfied. Pig Floyd's is definitely one of Orlando's finest.

I can't even muster up enough words that would accurately describe just how fantastic the food is at Pig Floyd's! The brisket and butter chicken are my go to favorites. Pig Floyd's also has some of the hardest working staff. My boyfriend and I ate here just again on Sunday night, and I was once again so impressed with how the staff, as a whole, were so accommodating. From the friendly big smile of the young guy at the register, to the cook staff behind the counter, and every single staff member who walked by refilling our drinks, bringing us napkins and just checking in to make sure everything was ok! We will forever becoming back!

Ok, so you know how you go to this certain restaurant all the time, & it's your favorite place ever, & you decide to take your out of town guests, & then it totally sucks that particular night?? I'm going to say that this is what happened this first time I went to Pig Floyds bcuz this time, unlike my previous visit, it totally rocked!!! Maybe it's what I ordered, maybe it's the mood I was in, maybe they just figured it all out, but wow!!! Total yummiest!! My BF and I both got the 1/2 rack of ribs. $14.99 and it came with 2 sides of your choice. Hands down the best dish there! Moist, flavorful, fall off the bones ribs served on a wood carving board. Presentation- A+. Taste- Ditto. I got the grilled corn and grilled mixed veggies. Perfect choice. I paired with an Angry Orchard Cider & loved every bite of my meal. My BF got the black beans & rice & something else and loved his meal equally as well. The side sauce for the ribs was totally unnecessary and I actually was hoping to find a few mushrooms in my veggies, but no luck there. Cons- parking is still a nightmare. Hope that they can "borrow" some spaces from nearby businesses & post signs where it's acceptable to park. Still CRAZY loud inside. We happily grabbed a table outside & enjoyed the lovely fall weather Fri night. Pros- Besides the food, here are some other kudos I need to share. The cashier guy was brilliantly friendly. Took his time, helped with menu suggestions, and totally didn't seem phased by the 30 people in line behind us. I think he was allowing the kitchen time to get orders out, which I appreciated & didn't mind waiting in line & the flow seemed to make sense. I totally appreciated the staff waiting at the door monitoring people SAVING tables for folks in line. They did it in a nice way & I salute them! Nothing worse then seeing some chick playing on her phone while holding a table for 4 while I stand there with my hot food getting cold! Come on people! And thank you Pig Floyds staff!! We'll definitely be back for the ribs! Yum

Another great spot I had the pleasuring of eating at! Came here to this awesome lil joint with a friend for lunch a few days back. I ordered the Chicken Al Pastor tacos and a Stella beer and it was super delicious! Very impressed! Not only was the gentlemen taking our orders patient and kind, the manager was super attentive. I noticed he went around greeting each table and asking if anyone needed anything. Very friendly service! The location is easy to find off Mills Ave. but you may find parking difficult as it tends to get a bit packed. The food is definitely worth the wait. Combination of Asian, Latin and Southern BBQ. Casual, laid back atmosphere with diverse groups of people. They do not have happy hour specials and only serve lunch and dinner. Not a big meat eater but I'll be back to try out the pork belly tacos next time! Highly Recommended!

I can't really figure out why this place got 3 stars from some people. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I totally would. I had the pulled pork with corn and yuca, and it was amazing. My friend had ribs with corn, beans, and rice. We devoured everything! I refused to share my yuca, draw your own conclusions from that. There was a small line when we got there but we didn't wait long at all for our food. Our servers outside on the patio were really friendly and attentive. The only thing I regret is not eating there sooner!

Everything about this place is perfect. If you're looking for delicious and authentic barbecue with a chill and trendy environment then you've found the place. They have inside and outdoor seating. How it works: You make a line to order, menu is available on a board on the wall or they have paper menus for your convenience as well. Once you order, they give you a number and you take a sit...food is brought to your table, fairly quickly I might add. The food is delectable. Prices are fair for what it is, normally I spend about $30-$37 for two people. I've been to Pig Floyd's twice in the past week and the last time I went the owner was present and I just don't mean there, he was very tentative to all his customers, making conversation and ensuring everyone was comfortable and happy. Let's just stay THIS place made me a BBQ fan. 5/5:)
(5)Greg F.
The place is nice and clean!! They have outdoor seating as well, and bowls for your doggies if you want to bring them. It's a limited menu, which is good as it doesn't confuse you. Real smoke barbecue, pulled pork and brisket. The ribs that were going out the other table looks like they were to die for, we will try this on a return visit. Grilled corn on the cob also looks really good! This will be another menu item to try on our next visit. The slaw was fantastic, the pulled pork was tender, succulent and never dry, and the brisket was very juicy but not fatty. We will be back for more - SOON!!!
(5)Kyle J.
Wow!! What a great barbecue joint. I ordered the ribs and my mom got the brisket. Both were worth ever penny. Not to mention the side of corn on the Cobb which was delicious. We will definitely be bak

I had read the earlier reviews for this place, and a few people mentioned that the restaurant still had to work out some kinks, so I decided to wait a while before I checked this place out. Whatever kinks they had were ironed out when I went. This place is legit. It was crowded, but not overcrowded, and the atmosphere inside and outside was sleek yet pleasant. I had some pulled pork, fries, and appleslaw. You get to choose which kind of BBQ sauce you want with your meal. I played it safe and got sweet BBQ, and it was really tasty. You also get some tortillas so you can make little tacos with your dish. The pulled pork was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. The fries and slaw were both delicious as well. Be sure to come in with an empty stomach or a plan for lunch tomorrow because they really hook you up in the portions department. Seriously, you get a lot of food, but it's really good, so I doubt you should worry about any of it going to waste. I definitely plan on coming back here to try out the other items on the menu as well as the different kinds of sauces. Forget 4 Rivers, there's a new BBQ king in town.
(5)J Y.
Awesome awesome awesome!! The brisket was beyond tender and tasty! Tacos were definitely unique and also very tasty! Plantains were unexpectedly phenomenal- they reminded me of Filipino caramelized bananas on a stick called bananaque. Definitely enjoyed the Barbeque fusion! Such a refreshing twist on typical bbq places specially in Orlando! Will most certainly be back for their ridiculously sounding and tasting platters sandwiches!!
(5)Tracy M.
This place is great! Great service & everything we ordered was awesome. Yuka fries are really good!
(5)Dee T.
A chef from another restaurant recommended this place. It is the best barbecue in Orlando. The food is a fusion of Southern, Asian, and Latin flavors. It's delicious and creative. I had the Big Floyd and it was amazing. It's pulled pork, brisket, and sausage. I opted for the peanut slaw and fries to the side along with the best plantains ever. I can't wait to come back and try more stuff from the menu. This place has only been open 6 months and has received over 200 great reviews. That says a lot.
(5)Jennifer W.
Worth the wait. We shared a table with Christine P. who reviewed below because the place was packed! They ran put of brisket unfortunately but quickly subbed our second choices. I had the skinny sow salad which was perfect. Anything with beets and spiced walnuts is a winner in my book. My dining companions equally enjoyed their choices (see pics). It's only their second day open so we understood it was going to be a frenzy. We will definitely be back once it calms down... Or maybe before.

I had been wanting to visit this place for quite some time and I'm happy I finally was able to visit and have lunch. I arrived around 11:30 right before the lunch crowd and it was well worth the early visit because it got very busy at noon. I ordered the brisket platter with fried yuca and plantains. The yuca were large wedges and crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The plantains are coated with a raw type of brown sugar so they get sweet and crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The brisket was tender and you don't need much to break it apart. They don't smother it in salt like 4 River's does on their brisket. The balance of smoke is perfect. The garlic sauce for the yuca is really good. The sweet BBQ sauce is great for breaking up the smoke flavor of the meats. I really dislike smoke houses which put their sauce in the smokers. It's really dumb to double up on the smoke. You must have contrast between the meats and the other items on the plate. If you don't break things up you might as well just give people a gas mask and then connect it right to your smoker and then let them eat. The only thing they are going to taste is smoke. Yech! Parking is limited so arrive early or later if that is your thing. (additional info) I went back this evening with the family as my wife killed me when she learned I went with out her. We arrived around 5ish and found parking. We also arrived on time to avoid the crowd because at 6:00pm the place was slammed with a line wrapping around the building. This visit I ordered the chicken and brisket and my wife got the brisket. The difference was the mixed veggies and the apple slaw. Both of which were really good. I preferred the slaw over the veggies because, again contrast, the veggies were grilled and had a flavor similar to the meat. (notice to the head chef or owner) I'd like to see some consistency with the portions. When I had lunch the yuca was too much and I didn't have enough garlic sauce to finish it. When I arrived for dinner the next day my wife had twice as much sauce as me and I had less yuca than I had at lunch the day before. My wife also noticed that 75% of her mixed veggies were snow peas and green beans. We found ONE broccoli and a few carrots with no bok choy. Also the $1 extra for the small Chimichurri is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE EFFORT. It was such a small amount that while tasty with the chicken it was not enough to share with my wife. (Next time) They have a gluten free desert called Cuban Banana Pudding I'm going to try.

First things first; I'm a guilt ridden carnivore. I believe deep down that meat really is murder and you can't deny the environmental impact that eating meat has on our planet. Alas, other than a brief stint as a herbivore in my early 20′s I have never been able to commit to a full life of no meat. One day perhaps I will have the determination and fortitude and much needed cooking skills; but until then I try to make any meat eating event a good one, lest these poor quadrupeds die in vain of a tasteless dish. It was with high expectations that I ventured to Pig Floyd's, the newest restaurant to enter the Mills/50 district. Some foodie friends had gone to the media preview and had only palate-pleasing praise. We arrived around 6 PM on their opening day, and the restaurant was half full, with both indoor and outdoor seating, but there was a decent line forming to order. It's set up as what would appear to be a fast causal establishment, with your order taken at the counter, a number distributed, and you grab a seat and wait. I knew from the first few minutes in line, this was not going to be a seamless experience since only one register was ringing, and I could see the panicked faces of the workers who were completely exposed in this beautiful open kitchen. The POS system was giving them problems so each order was taking time getting put in. You know it's bad when there are I.T. professionals milling about. We ordered the pulled pork platter and the the pork belly tacos and began our wait. The restaurant started to fill with the line forming out the door and as we waited and critiqued the design and the usage of the small space as only non-restaurant owning people can. The contained chaos continued, but it wasn't until I noticed a man that had been sitting at the bar from the moment we walked in get his food that I knew this might take even longer than previously thought. He had been there for at least 20 minutes since we had walked in and was just NOW getting served. That's when I knew, either those pigs were being slaughtered freshly off of Virginia Drive, or their kitchen was really backed up. Forty minutes passed when the kitchen realized our order never actually made it to the line, and when it finally came out it was not complete. As irritating as it was, I couldn't really be mad. Once you've worked in a restaurant you have an everlasting empathy for situations that are out of your hands. POS issues on any day can throw everything out of whack, but on your opening day, that's a really kick in the snout. This is what smart phones were invented for right? Time to surf the web and tell each other work stories. The wait staff was very apologetic and accommodating, which was appreciated since in times of distress it's easy to have staff become irritated and apathetic and none of them displayed any of these traits. Our food arrived and the worry about the wait went out the window. My pork belly tacos were packed with flavor. It was topped with asian Dragon Sauce, Citrus Peanut Slaw and accompanied with a side of grilled corn on the cob with chili, lime, and Cotija Cheese. Tacos are purchased singularly and two was the perfect amount. All I can say is Tako Cheena better watch out, because these tacos were amazingly good with an excellent price point to sweeten the deal. My companion had the pulled pork platter with the same side of corn and fresh grilled veggies. Another dish packed with flavor that didn't even need sauce. They spared no plate space with the a heaping portion of meat. We split one dessert, the Black & Tan which was like a brownie mixed with pudding and whip cream in what else, but the all too popular mason jar. Dark chocolate brown bites, chocolate chip cookie chunks and cookies & cream pudding. It was rich and smooth and the perfect sweet cap to the meal. Kinks are to be expected on an opening day, and despite the chaos, the food quality apparently didn't suffer, which means the kitchen has their act together and can keep quality consistent even when under pressure. After talking briefly with a delightful girl at the table next to me, she raved about her ribs, saying that Four Rivers had nothing on them. Smiling faces were all around when I scanned the tables, which considering these people had been waiting as long as I had speaks volumes. I will surely be back and hope for shorter ticket times. If you are going to eat meat, this is certainly the place to do it.

When I found out Orlando was getting a new BBQ place I had to check it out! My boyfriend and I came at 10pm for a late dinner. So great to have a late night place that's actually good! This place does not compare to any other BBQ place I've had. I ordered the ribs with grilled corn and French fries. The ribs were really great and the portion was huge! The flavor was not like any other BBQ place and really set the place apart for me. My boyfriend had the brisket with fried yucca and grilled veggies. We both agreed that the brisket was some of the best we'd had! It melted like butter in my mouth and was sliced perfectly thin. My boyfriend raved about the grilled vegetables as well. After we ate our dinner the owner came to our table and chatted with us for about 30 minutes. You can really tell that he cares about his business and his customer's experience, which we really respected. Overall a great experience and we will be back!

I finally felt like a hipster walking into this place. I was in line behind some band... They were on their way to sign some "merch" at Hot Topic. Well beyond my age range, I guess.... But I digress. The atmosphere is great! Walking into the sun soaked patio, great music playing, and then the smell of BBQ hits ya. Instant mouth watering ensues. I hate lines, so this is one of the reasons for the 4-star rating (and as other people mention, reminiscent of 4R). After a 10 min wait (behind a famous band!) I was greeted by a friendly order taker. I ordered the cheese steak. But then I struggled a bit because I asked about a beer - he handed me a large beer menu full of craft beers! I don't know about you, but I need time to look over a beer list, but when you are at the head of a line - time is weighing on you like a ton of bricks. I quickly decide on the founders all day pale ale. (A good choice!) You get your bottled beer with a frozen mason jar!!! Anything better?!?! The order taker then hands you a number and invites you to have a seat. The food came out quickly. The sandwich was huge! I would say I liked it, I wish I would have ordered the butter chicken tacos. The fries are "good" too. I wish I would have got a different sides. I will say The steak was great.. But the bread and cheese sauce got in the way. All in all, I'll be back and I will recommend Pig Floyds. I just wonder if n'sync will be here next time?! See, I'm old.
(4)Tj A.
Good food. Hard to have a conversation there, since it is so loud. The quality of the bar-b-que is great, and if the weather is nice it is a good place to go to eat outside.
(4)Brandi C.
The Banh Mi sandwich is just about perfection. The black beans and rice are out of this world. The plantains are better than dessert. ... All in all, Pig Floyd's should be on everyone's list of must try eateries in the Orlando area!
(5)Ah-Lawn-Ugh M.
Very cute chill spot food was excellent and reasonably priced. The were outof most things by 10 pm which was disappointing but understandable.
(4)Alden K.
Best barbeque in Orlando can be found right here. The most overrated barbeque can be found down the road at 4 Rivers. Get the ribs here, smoked to perfection and the portion gets a big firefighter approval. Nice beer selection as well. Great and friendly service.
(5)Scott C.
Food was awesome and service was good. Had a brisket sandwich and the flavors jumped out and all blended together. Corn was the best side.

I am writing this after eating here twice in a week. We literally went back two days in a row. The guests- husband, wife and 3 year old son. The meals (the first time): Full Rack of Ribs, french fries and slaw The Rib Sandwich special, slaw and maduros Pork Sandwich and fries I loved my sandwich. The meat was plentiful and the sauce was excellent. The bread was not great-I wish it had been toasted but overall, very good. The slaw is my FAVORITE, I could eat it all day long. The maduros, good. The full rack was fall off the bone tender. My husband enjoyed it. The spicy sauce requested on the side was excellent. He took meat home and I can tell you, it was even good cold. My son had a pork sandwich and fries. He wanted nothing to do with the sandwich but loved the fries. The sandwich was good; the bread was not the normal hamburger bun you find at other places--so flavorful. The second meal- I had another sandwich- it was the Banh Mi. Wow, just enough kick and excellent. The bread this time was very good. I had the slaw and of course, it was awesome! I did get the corn on the cob (hoping my son would eat some). He did not but I did. Very good! My husband went with two sandwiches, a pork and a brisket. He said both were great. He remarked they were better than 4 Rivers. I bought rice and beans, hoping that my son would eat it-nope. I tasted the rice and beans. They were not as flavorful as many I have had at Latin eateries. I would choose another side. Service-very good! Servers and owner recognized us the second time! They kept our glasses full and were excellent. My only wish---please do something for kids---even if it is a hotdog and some packaged applesauce. My son is not picky, he usually eats anything but he wont eat BBQ. Trust me, you could charge 5 bucks for a hot dog and 1 side and make a killing. We will be back. Oh, I noticed others said they waited a long time. We received our meals both days in 10 minutes or less. Look forward to going back!

As an Indian I always am interested to see if Indian inspired creations can live up to the real thing. The butter chicken tacos were great and actually could taste the heat in them. I think for the price I would just eat the inside of that taco. It's super filling and after two of them I was stuffed. Wasn't super impressed by the yucca fries only because I've been spoiled by mogo in Africa and India were they season and toss it beyond just salt.
(5)Matt P.
Really enjoyed the food here. I got the pulled rib sandwich with fried plantains and french fries (yes, all the fried foods). Everything was very well made and fresh. Portion sizes were great for the price. I went at lunch time and there was a little bit of a wait, but nothing unmanageable. Great food, decently priced with a good atmosphere. Would definitely return.
(4)Kathryn B.
Love d loved loved this place. Sweet potato fries, wow. If you like BBQ this is the place to go.
(5)Emmy L.
The food was yummy yet a little pricey for what you get, and the dessert way too sweet .Nice patio outside to eat at when the weather permits and the customer service was friendly and informative.
(4)Jeffrey D.
Absolutely amazing!! The pig Floyd sandwich was awesome, the coleslaw, with the brisket on a coconut bun!! What!! We were told to try the fancy sauce, wow. Glad we found a cool bbq joint right by the house. Customer service is like none other.
(5)Andrew W.
Had the pig sandwich (rib meat with slaw) and some yuca fries. Was very good, though the bbq sauce was a little sweet, even after the slaw helped cut it down. Would also suggest having them cut it for you as it comes on a hoagie roll and it's impossible to cut with the butter knife provided in the place setting. The restaurant was busy--even on a Monday night--but people moved through quickly. Staff was friendly and made sure everyone had what they needed. I would definitely eat here again next time I'm in town.
(4)Nicole D.
Food was just okay. Went based on the fact that they refer themselves as Latin American cuisine. Not so, unless the yuca and plaintains from the Goya box counts as Latin American cuisine. If that's so, then Publix is a latin grocery store. I think they have an identity crisis trying to determine who they want their clientele to be. Had the pork belly tacos that had sesame seeds. Still don't understand that one. Pork belly had no flavor. The shrimp tacos were okay. Thankfully and clearly, someone watched a Rick Bayless episode on achiote paste and used it with the tacos. Brisket was nothing special. I guess the most disappointing fact was there were visible signs of pickled onions and veggies, but nothing tasted fresh or crispy. Wish them the best, but if you serve different types of cuisine, but are not strong in either latin, barbeque or asian; then customers will go elsewhere.
(2)Jesus Q.
Hands down best BBQ restaurant I've ever been. I ordered the Oakwood Smoked Ribs and my friend ordered the Brisket and both were amazing. These come with 2 sides and I got the Fried Yuca with Fancy Sauce and the Grilled Corn on the Cob (both soo delicious). I love the craft beer selection. But the best part of it is the attention we got from the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to bring the rest of my family here on Sunday!
(5)Dan C.
Great lunch spot, good beer and cider selection! The food is amazing and Jim went through the menu and was very knowledgable.. Great spot! Thanks Jim!
(5)Denny T.
Finally a BBQ spot that is delish that doesn't have a super long line. To me waiting an hour for BBQ is crazy. So I stopped in here yesterday and they were busy. Everything moved really quickly and I have to say that the brisket was awesome as was the sides we had. Everything was fresh and it shows in the taste. We will def be back. Good job!
(5)Jason C.
fantastic all the way round.. from food to service. gotta give this a go. you won't be sorry.
(5)Andy J.
Let me start by saying that in my visit the service was exceptional. Absolutely no complaints in that department. The food however is just good. Nothing special. In my visit I had the 1/2 rack of ribs with the black beans & rice and the fried yuca . The yuca came with a dipping sauce called fancy sauce. Most Hispanics, like myself call this sauce mayo-ketchup. Basically mayo and ketchup with garlic. It was a good compliment to the starchy yuca. The rice and beans were pretty bad in my opinion. Just no flavor at all. That's probably bad judgement on my part. After all, black beans and rice are not really a bbq staple. Should have gone with the Apple/fennel slaw, which looked really good. Now to the ribs. They were incredibly moist and tender. But again, just nothing special about them. Overall the meal was good. The atmosphere is a lot quieter than your other local BBQ joints. Which I personally enjoyed but the food is average. My bill came out to $18 for the half rack, sides and a coke.
(3)Evan R.
The service here was amazing. They were attentive and very quick. All the food from the ribs to the chicken even to their Cuban banana pudding was outstanding
(5)Jen D.
Three stars for reasonable food, atmosphere and service. I heard Pig Floyd's was incredible, so I took my boyfriend on a very mild Saturday night around 8pm. It was busy but not crowded so we had plenty of seating options - did not realize it was an order at the counter, seat yourself situation. Based on the pricing, I assumed the portions were pretty generous. I ordered one La Vaca Tahkaw (taco) and a side of plantains. I wanted to try some of the other tacos, but they all seem to have a spicy element and I don't have a tolerance for spicy food. My boyfriend ordered the two meat platter with plantains and rice and beans as sides. My original idea was to split this with him, and we definitely could have. A lot of food. I really enjoyed sitting at a table in the corner of the porch/deck. There is a cement wall in the front that cuts some of the street noise. The food was delivered within 10 minutes and very hot. I had to wait a few minutes to eat since the food and the plates were too warm to handle comfortably. Overall, food was good. The only unexpected thing is that the fried plantains are sprinkled with brown sugar. I did not enjoy this, as plantains are so sweet on their own and the sugar melts a bit and becomes unpleasantly stuck in your teeth. Nice casual experience, but I have found similar food at places I enjoy more.
(3)Shannon T.
Stopped by last night for first time. This place has 3 things I love... Variety of tacos with different toppings, outdoor dining and great beer list. The service was great, including the owner who stopped by to check on us. No complaints... we look forward to next visit! My only complaint is when food is dropped off at table, the server should ask if we need anything... we didn't have forks, napkins, etc and would have requested hot sauce if available. Server dropped food off and ran away too quick, but we found another that helped us out.
(4)Victoria K.
So I have now been to Pig Floyd's 3 times, and have gone with friends each time so I've gotten to try a lot of items on the menu. Firstly, I love the concept. So original, different, and just awesome. Wasn't expecting tacos to be in the menu... Sadly the first time I went they ran out of brisket, tacos sounded good so I decided to give them a try- excellent! My favorite was the chicken al pastor. My friends favorite was the pork belly. The second time I got the pulled pork platter, grilled veggies and fennel apple slaw. Might be the best pulled pork I've ever had. And the slaw is incredible, my new favorite side. Finally, a couple days ago I got the brisket!!!!! It was well worth the wait. So delish. Again, probably the best I've ever had. *just a warning about the brisket, I was told it has a fatty side and a lean side- the fatty side is more flavorful but is about half fat so if you are looking for something a little leaner, just ask for the lean side. I didn't know this when so I'll be sure to ask for it next time.* for my sides I got the fennel apple slaw again (I'm salivating just thinking about it) and the plantains which were really really good. On a side note, my sister got the corn and said it was the best she'd ever had. She ate it all before I could have a chance to try it haha next time! All in all, this place is amazing. New, fresh, different. The owner and staff are eager to please. It does get pretty busy in there and it can be hard to get a seat and you can potentially wait a while for food, so I recommend going at an off hour, however, it's totally worth the wait.
(5)Nick N.
This place is legit. The meat is perfectly prepared, the sides are awesome and the desserts are diabetic coma goodness. My friends were pretty dubious when I assured them that this would be better than the other orlando barbecue destination, but at the end, four out of four agree, this is now the best barbecue in town.
(5)David Q.
This place is awesome! Try the ribs. They were cooked perfectly. Sauces are good but not necessary. My wife tried the Butter Chicken Taco as well as the Al Pastor. She loved them. On a previous visit I tried the Big Floyd sandwich. So delicious with the brisket, pulled pork, slaw and smoked sausage. All this on a big, King's Hawaiian style bun. Service was perfect on each visit. Our bartender, Amber was so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Outside seating is available. The line goes out the front door on many days. Get there early or late so you don't have to wait. OR save yourself the wait and sit down at the bar. You can order food and choose from five different draft beer selections as well as many bottled beer choices. Wine is also available.
(4)Chad L.
Pig Floyds is a great barbecue place...I can't say enough good things...try it and you will love it...think bar b q with a latin twist...I have never been had a single problem with any of the food..it all has tasted great and been well presented. This is a great addition to the Mills 50 area.

I was really excited to try this place, and unfortunately I was kind of let down. We were there opening weekend around 5pm and there were about 12 people in front of me. Now I know that it sometimes takes a few weeks (maybe never) to work out the kinks in someone's business, but when you say you are open I assume you have trained your staff. The woman taking orders clearly wasn't trained. She had no idea how to use the POS system, what prompts would occur when someone ordered something, etc. I felt this was really unprofessional on the owners part. You only get one chance to make a first impression and mine was that this place was half-assed. It took over an hour to just place my order with only 12 people in front of me. Completely unwarranted and uncalled for, but the real problem was that no one addressed the people in line. It wasn't like there were 50+ people and that was the reason why it was taking so long, it was because they were not able to take orders efficiently because their staff was not trained (well). At another well respected BBQ place in Orlando "cough" 4 rivers "cough" we've received water, lemonade, even samples in line. The owner nor any of the staff even said anything to us, offered us some water, maybe a sample of the Que, nothing. My wife sat down while I was in line, and the waitress walking around asking if people needed anything completely ignored my wife but helped the couple next to our table. When she was finally able to get service, the waitress asked if someone was in line. We thought this was odd, since why would my wife be sitting there if we weren't getting food?? Just a running theme for this place that their staff are not trained well to deal with customers. My wife had the salad with beets in it, and she did not care for it. I have to say it was a little sad. It was a whole plate of frisee without much for toppings. She would break a smile when she found a teeeny tiny bit of beet but that would be wiped away by the fact that there were maybe 3 bits in the whole salad. For the price you expect more. Fries seemed to be of the frozen variety, and the yucca while good is better at Black Bean Deli. My wife enjoyed the corn, and I tried their ribs and butter chicken taco. Butter Chicken was pretty decent but i dont' know if I'd get it again. Ribs were out of this world, but could have had a little more bark to them (if you know Q you know what i'm talkin about) After reading reviews of their other sandwiches and the bread being meh, i might stick to ribs or brisket. So after all of this why did I give them 3 stars? Well, 1) Mills needed a BBQ joint. Sometimes I don't want to drive to Winter Park to get good Q. 2)While I don't care much for the BBQ sauce I tried (I asked for spicy and sweet and was only given one little cup of sauce so not sure what they did there) their Ribs are hands down my favorite in Orlando. 3) I like the concept of BBQ fusion, and would like to see it thrive. I won't be back for a few months. I just don't have the time, energy or effort to deal with untrained staff so hopefully they get that fixed, but I would like to come back and see if anything has changed.

Amazing food. Fun location in Mills 50 district. A must for all

Really great BBQ and close to Downtown Orlando.

Great experience. Shrimp and sausage taco and chicken and butter taco were great. For kids they have pork, chicken or brisket sandwich with fries (none are spicy). Service is quick and friendly. Go!

This is my 6th time here and the service and food is stellar! They seemed to have gotten their system down because we didn't have to wait in line for forever and our food came out in about 6 or 7 minutes! The owner was very attentive and was really friendly! He even brewed me my very own extra sweet tea! One of my favorite places to go to and can't stop raving about it.

Outstanding. In a town where all others are judged against 4 Rivers this place holds it's own. Not sure if I'd go as far as to say that it's better but a great alternative. I had the brisket, corn on the cob w/ chili, lime & cotija and black beans and rice, My wife had the Barbakoa banh mi sandwich and we loved everything. Do yourself a favor and go!

Today was our first time and we believed our experience would be great! Two people and one ordered a sandwich with a side of grilled corn; the other ordered two tacos. Sandwich arrived first and it was room temperature. Then we waited.....Finally someone asked if we wanted a drink refill so we asked for the tacos. Several more minutes and the tacos arrived. Very little filling and flavor. They were also room temperature. We shared our concerns about temperature and timing and the gentleman explained the kitchen setup being two separate lines, that apparently are not coordinated. He didn't seem to be interested in our dining experience. We will not likely return. It's a good concept and a great location, but enhanced customer experience coupled with hot flavorful food will be needed to save the Pig.

Only had the tacos, and really liked them. The atmosphere was good and so was the service. We sat at the bar. Waitress was attentive and provided information on the food items. Will def go back.

Amazing chicken tacos, plantains and apple fennel slaw then Black and Tan for dessert...you can't go wrong here..everything I've had here has been incredible !

Half slab of ribs, apple fennel slaw and grilled corn on the cob. This may be the best meal I've ever had. Ribs were perfect and the corn was phenomenal and the slaw is unreal. I'm from Memphis, BBQ capital of the world, and there's nothing at home I can compare it to.

Went here last night and they were slammed. I had this massive sandwich with brisket, chimichurri and an egg on top. It was some next level ish. My friend had the ribs and they were fall off the bone. They even had fancy sauce! Everyone working there seemed to be in a good mood and were joking around. Food came out surprisingly quick and was piping hot. Will be back again!!!

I'll give the pros and cons. We've been 3 times now, so I can make a good, well-rounded rating, because each experience has been the same. I'd like to give it a 3.75-3.95 stars...not quite 4. Pros: 1. The food is tasty. They know how to smoke meat. I don't put any of their sauces on the meats, because the smoked flavor is done really well, and the meat is all very tender. 2. The place has a nice setup and outdoor seating is nice. 3. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful (this may be how they have to make up for your long wait in line just to order). Seriously, the wait staff is great. 4. This is a local place, and those are the establishments we like to support. 5. Having just lived in Alabama for nearly a decade, I know BBQ, and they have a very nice fusion of BBQ and Latin food. I'll hand it to them for a great concept. The fried yucca--awesome (I like it more than the meat); fried plantains (maduros/amarillos)--caramelized perfectly, beating some of my other favorite Latin vendors. Cons: 1. You're going to wait in line JUST TO ORDER your food for 20-30 minutes. It's going to get aggravating when you realize that they don't rush when they see a line that extends 20+ feet. They're NOT opening up that 2nd cash register to get that line moving. I inquired about this, and they said it was so that the kitchen doesn't get backed up with a bunch of orders. Their justification is that if the kitchen gets backed up, food will take longer to come out. So, instead of waiting at your table, they said it's better to have you wait in the order line.

I had pulled pork, plantains and seasonal veggies. Everything even the plantains and the veggies and BBQ sauce had an intense vinegar flavor that was overwhelming to me. The pulled pork was good. I will give it another shot because maybe the chef just accidentally overloaded to vinegar that day..

Sandwiches and sides were great. I'll be back to try the ribs

This place rocks! Urban feel, edgy staff. Even though you order and pay at the register, the floor servers are extremely attentive. The ribs are some of the best I've had and the roasted corn, hot juicy and sprinkled with Parmesan, awesome! Certainly will be returning when I'm back in the area. Note to Pig Floyd - find a system that allows for the whole table to be served at once if someone in the party pays separately.

Awesome BBQ with a twist. We stopped by the first week and though service was a bit slow, it's an expected scenario given the location. Tacos are outstanding and creative, and the plates are worth the trip.

I should start by saying that I'm not a BBQ aficionado. I like BBQ OK, but I'd say I only order it about once a year. So from that perspective, I'd say that the BBQ here did not disappoint. I ordered the 2 meat combo. platter--pulled pork and brisket. I like that you can order sides such as fried plantains and black beans and rice (as well as more traditional options, such as fries). The beans had a little less flavor than I'm used to, but I did really enjoy them and these sides always go well with pulled pork. The pork belly taco was delicious...and I enjoyed the citrus peanut slaw that comes on the taco. I'm going to avoid the fennel apple slaw side dish in the future, though, as it was far too heavy on the onion (and I like raw onion). The space/ appearance, including the outside patio, is much improved from the previous restaurant that was at this location. You order at the counter and receive a number to place on table for staff to bring you your meal. We found staff to be friendly, polite, and efficient. So, overall, the food was good and I appreciate the little bit of fusion.

Ate here for the first time the other night. The place is cute and I like the outdoor seating. The food is definitely good... I just tend to like more full service kind of places so I was slightly bummed at the setup where you go order and pay and then someone brings your stuff... But whatever that's just me. I'll be back again for some more good food sometime :)

This place is delicious, and is certainly in our rotation of go-to spots. We have been here several times in just a few days. The ribs were perfect, and you MUST try their corn on the cob. Service could be a little better - but the food is great. Excited to keep coming back and try more things on the menu.

Had the applewood smoked brisket and it was absolutely amazing! One of the owners, Tom Gies greeted us and was so welcoming. I would recommend this place to everyone. Go check it out!! Your missing out if you haven't ate here yet.

I had the Big Floyd and a shrimp & sausage taco. Both were really good. The atmosphere is friendly and accepting. The owner is welcoming and makes great conversation. Next on my list will be to try the St. Louis ribs. Can't wait to go back.

Ate an early dinner here last week and had a great experience. Today, not so much. Stood in line behind 15-20 people and placed my order about 25 minutes later. They had 1 person taking orders even though there was an open computer next to him. Half of the tables were empty but there were 15-20 people in line to order. This was around 1230 pm on Friday. What should've been a 20-30 minute lunch was easily 50 min. Unacceptable. I ordered half chicken w/ veggies and black beans w/ rice. Chicken was fantastic! Veggies were severely undercooked and the beans w/ rice was average. I would recommend getting food to-go but the to-go window wasn't open and even if it was they probably wouldn't have anyone attending it. Will be interested to see if this place survives.

Who would have thought the best ribs in Florida could be found at a place in Orlando half filled with hipsters. Ribs were excellent. Roasted corn on the cob was very good. Black beans and rice were good but could have used more beans relative to rice. An interesting concept very well executed. Very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a quiet night out not your place. If you are looking for delicious and interesting barbecue it certainly is.

This is going to be a new staple. Great ribs and incredible service. The pork belly taco was awesome too.

First time eating here. Great menu and food was awesome. Couldn't finish the Double meat platter due to the amount of food. Definitely coming back to sample more of the menu!
