I just left from this location, and just wanted to say,I had a fantastic server. (Nick) I was there with a friend and we noticed him dealing with a few difficult tables, perfectly. As a past server, I had to write a review! Good service is hard to find!

This wasn't my dining choice - based on the reviews of my fellow Yelpers (which I always rely on) I would have avoided it! Hostess wasn't very welcoming...it never hurts to smile. We sat in the bar, it wasn't overly busy and my lunch date and I were yapping and catching up and hadn't even bothered to look at the menu but the server kept coming by and asking if we were ready...not in the helpful way, in the 'hurry up' way! We finally ordered a 1/2 club with fries and soup/salad off the lunch menu. Salad was limp, sandwich was yuck with processed lunch meat turkey, a soggy tomato and super greasy bread. $2.99 big Yingling draft was why this isn't a 1 star review! I like a well priced drink! We found out quickly that we actually WERE being rushed because our server was getting off work and needed to clock out, that's what he told us, so we paid and no one ever came back to see if we even wanted another drink. Overall a fairly inexpensive, unappetizing lunch. I won't be back.

Great service to start, the steak dinner was cooked perfectly, and the French silk pie was amazing. So glad we tried this place...

We had the honey chicken and mashed potatoes and everything was excellent, the server Ryan was great and very attentive. The rolls were hot and fresh and everyone was really nice. Food was reasonably priced as well. We will be back thanks!!

I came here last night with a large group and two kids. It was a Friday night, but they wee pretty quiet and seated us right away. Great happy hour specials every day from 2-7pm. I had a $4 Cosmo, and my husband had a $3 23oz miller lite. Also half price appetizers. We got their new tater tot fondue, which was just fantastic, though you need several more tots for all the cheese they give you. You also get complimentary bread, which was great. However, three of us ordered the potato soup, and none of us were impressed. It was super thin, overly cheesy (and I like cheese), and looked like they tossed old French fries in as the potato part. Onto the main course, I think everyone enjoyed their food. We had a mix of sirloins, chicken fingers, salads, and pastas. All of it was pretty good. Chicken tenders were a little overbreaded but the ranch dipping sauce was yummy. Overall, a pretty good place to eat. Fast food and service. Our waiter was very accommodating with our large party and three kids. Not too expensive either which is a nice change for this touristy area.

The buffalo tenders were awesome. The sauce was perfect - not too spicy and not too mild. I ordered the Classic French Dip and was pretty good. Although the menu said that there'd be a hint of Cajun butter to give it a special O'Charley's kick... it must have been a really small hint, because I didn't really tasty anything. Nonetheless, it was still good. The sandwich came with a side of fries, but you can opt for various vegetables, potatoes, rice pilaf, soups or salads. They have a lot of different special offers, so I will definitely return in the future. They have free pie Wednesdays, prime rib offers for 2, and a pretty big Sunday brunch menu. Parking lot is big and convenient.

Accidentally found this place in a small shopping center, good find. I had tried another of their locations years ago and was not too impressed, but this location was very good. we got there shortly after they opened and were the second table seated, had great service good food the place was clean and tastefully decorated. A good family friendly place to eat in the heart of tacky touristy places. if in Orlando and want a no frills good meal with outstanding service, go here!

We didn't plan on dining here, but I am so glad we did! The pleasant service was as great as the food. From the pretzel appetizer to our hearty meals, then finally, some of the best margaritas--it was all delicious. We will be back!

This is one of my go to spots for take out since I live right around the corner. I use curbside to go which is fast and reliable. I normally go for the tenders or the steak both which are full of flavor. I love the potato cheese soup and the rolls here are to die for!! I highly recommend this place as it is normally great with little to no wait. Trust me there are plenty of food places at Dr. Phillips but none are as good and cheap as this place!!

Have been here several times over the past few years. Good food. Good service. I think it's a hidden gem. On Wednesday they have free pie for dessert. We stumbled on that one. The bread served before dinner is good. I had the strawberry lemonade- nice!! The chicken fingers are good eats. The only negative is that wi-fi isn't strong inside the restaurant. We even played a trivia game on this last visit. Prizes for the top three scorers.

We have eaten at another location in NC a few times so we had something to compare this meal to. We ordered fried pickles since it was still 1/2 off happy hour appetizers when we arrived. They were some of the worst we have ever had. I ordered grilled salmon with asparagus and a baked sweet potato. The salmon was very bland and over cooked for my liking. Asparagus also over cooked. My kids meals looked disgusting but they still ate them. We ordered pies for dessert, key lime and chocolate, both terrible.

This place could easily be called "O'Mediocre's" I've dined here a few times and I just don't like it. Nothing stands out as very good, be it the food, the atmosphere, or the service. The food is something you could find done better at any random traditional american restaurant. The atmosphere seems lacking and out dated. There is no identity. I don't have anything bad to say about the service specifically, it has been average each time. There are way too many other good options nearby to spend money eating here

This was our second visit to O'Charley's in Orlando and it was another great experience! Definitely GREAT food with GREAT service! The omelette I had was perfection and the bread rolls are to die for! Best rolls I have EVER had!! The servers are always so friendly and well mannered! Today we had a great waitress named Amanda! She was on too of everything we needed and also helped me and my children celebrate Daddy's birthday with celebratory Ice Cream and singing! She deserves a round of applause and recognition for her outstanding service today! She helped us make the decision that we will always end our Orlando visits with a brunch, lunch or dinner here! Keep up the great work O'Charley's!

We bought a groupon a few months back for a date night combo (2 movie tickets, $100 restaurant.com voucher & a photo canvas) so we decided to try O'Charley's with some of our restaurant.com credit. We got there super late... 30 mins to closing. The place was empty but for maybe one or two other couples. We were greeted and seated quickly. They brought out warm rolls with butter while we waited on our food. My boyfriend and I both ordered the 12oz Ribeye dinner, medium--- one with sweet potatoes and the other with french fries and hush puppies. The meat was not the very best we had, BUT it was still very delicious. It wasn't overcooked, but not as juicy as a Ribeye usually is. Not sure why... The sweet potato fries were delicious. I picked those over the regular fries. We also had dessert... something with ice cream. If I can't remember the name of it, I must have been unimpressed by it. As concerns the service, our waitress was super sweet. A little distracted probably because she was cleaning up to close. That is probably why she didn't come back to our table to refill our drinks when necessary. We had to call her over there. Other than that. I thought it was a great experience. I used the $25 voucher. Our steak was $17.99 a piece plus a few added charges here and there. I paid with tip ($8) about $31.00. It was not a bad date night dinner. We would visit again and maybe try something else. :)

If you have plenty of free time, this is the place for you. The food was great but the service was lacking. We went during a very slow time and found ourselves waiting to be greeted, order our food, be served, and even pay our bill. We ordered the Santa Fe tilapia and the chicken tenders and they were delicious!! Just speed up the service.

Average food average prices. Been eating here for years but over the last year they have gone from a solid 4.5 stars to barely 3 stars. The bread use to be light and fluffy like the rest of the O'Charleys chain. But now they are heavy and dense. The service is only average. This visit was better than the last visit. But the food was still just average. I have never seen this restaurant busy and lately the service has been mediocre. The strawberry lemonade is pricey at $4 but absolutely delicious.

A friend and I stopped by for Happy Hour and had a wonderfully unexpected time. Pete was our bartender and he was super friendly and accommodating. And he wasn't lying, the rolls are amazing. You can't beat half priced apps and $3.00 humongous beers. We'll absolutely be back for another Happy Hour!

Unfortunately, this place is mediocre at best... They were out of most of the things we asked for (even their famous dinner rolls) - the food was slapped together poorly, and there were a bunch of kids running the asylum - yelling at each other about how much they want to make in tips. I will definitely not be back - such a disappointment since I live in the area and would have enjoyed a nice all American place to go for a bite to eat.

Going to O'Charley's you must keep in mind you get what you pay for, service was good as was the food. Ordered the cat fish dinner with french fries and hush puppies, tasty and filling my spouse had a spicy chicken salad that she reported was very good father-in-law also had the cat fish dinner. One thing I will note is a few weeks ago I had the same meal, cat fish dinner, and was served three pieces of cat fish, good portion for cat fish, this time the dinner only had two smaller pieces of cat fish, although very good tasting, the portion was disappointing.

All American food, very casual and kid friendly. I wasnt expecting a lot to tell you the truth when I sat down and looked at the menue. There's a lot of fried food but if you look hard enough there are a few healthy options. Food had great flavor and the staff was friendly, except for the hostest that was anything but excited about her, quite depressing actually.

AWFUL. food is so so, horrible service. Ordered a salad and soup waited an hour to get it (after waiting 30 mins to be seated with a completely open restaurant) they brought out the room soup. Waitress was VERY RUDE. DO NOT GO HERE.

Pretty average food. Very unhealthy recipes and preparation of selections. They did not have breakfast potatoes, so they served French fries with my omelet Too much salt on the French fires. Poorly trained wait staff. I'll go elsewhere in the future.

OK, this is a crazy review... First, I have never been to this establishment, however it most likely be my last... So my wife has been to this particular location a few times since her office is a few blocks away. She advised me about the following; They are slow to sit you down even if there are 50% of the tables available(check) Service will be extremely Slow (Check) The drink glasses will remain empty after they come by and ask if you need more drink (Check) One of your Entrees will be incorrect (Check) The food is good and priced right(Check) Hence the 2 stars When they replace your incorrect Entree, your sides will be cold (Check) I felt like asking my wife for the Powerball numbers cause everything she told me prior to going there CHECKED OUT!!! I then decided to check Yelp, I saw the same issues I experienced. So, I apologize to my #1 and to Yelp for not reading the rating prior to coming here. Sad, because the food and price are nice.

Generally not a fan of chain restaurants, BUT... I grew up in Bowling Green, Kentucky, which is nationally recognized as having one of the highest restaurant to population ratios. In spite of the fierce competition, the O'Charley's in BG is always packed for lunch and dinner seven days a week. It was always one of my family's favorite restaurants offering traditional American food. When I moved to college in Tampa a few years ago, my heart was broken when I realized the nearest O'Charley's was in Jacksonville. I'm now working in Tampa and recently had the idea of flying from Tampa to Jacksonville on a Saturday just to eat O'Charley's. When I pulled up their website, I realized that an Orlando location opened within the last couple years!! Call it Christmas in October. It was among my top ten highlights of 2009. I visited this location the next two consecutive weekends following my discovery. Just take a 30 second glance at the O'Charley's menu and I guarantee you'll discover a dozen meals begging for your enjoyment. The chicken fingers--cleverly named "O'Tenders"--are excellent. The burgers and steaks are comparable to Outback. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday, try their brunch! The little donuts are totally worth breaking a diet. The huge buttery rolls--infinite and free--are legendary. This O'Charley's is conveniently located off I-4 just a couple miles from the Disney exits. As a Disney passholder, I'm pretty sure that this restaurant is gradually monopolizing my restaurant choices. In my experience, there are probably half a dozen chain restaurants deserving of five stars, and O'Charley's is definitely one of them.

So far off the beaten path in OTown I'm not sure how they stay in business but they do and it's a great break from the hussel of I-Drive. Come on in, get a drink and some chicken wings and let the day filled with Mickey and Donald pass you by.

This is the first time in my life I had a waiter take off to another table in the middle of taking our order. Will he be back? Bathroom emergency? Apparently he felt the need to assist one of his other tables at this time... After sitting there a good 15 mins after taking our order I asked him: "See something missing from this table?" He then scurried off to the bowels of the joint to fetch our bread. The bread arrived 10 secs before the main meal. Overall the main meal was a homerun, but this cat has got warm up his afm before coming into the game and imploding on the mound... I would return, but they need to do a better job of scouting potential servers...

So, after putting this restaurant in timeout for 5 months due to its bad behavior, I decided to give it another go. We enjoyed our meals, though the experience wasn't perfect. I'll put this place on a 4 month rotation before I totally kill it off. The chicken tenders are my favorite when prepared properly.

The first time I had been to O'Charleys was when they first opened. I had thought that a lot of the problems I had were due to the place and crew being new. So I gave it a second chance today for lunch when i really shouldn't have. I've been writing reviews now for almost a year and this experience is on the top for most awkward, odd experiences since being on yelp. So lets start with the good news. The rolls are hot and buttery... and yeah that's all I got. Service was bizarre. In the Orlando restaurant pet peeves thread I posted a quick run down of the service which looked like this. * Hostess sits us in odd section where there seems to be no servers. * Server finally comes, it's his 5th day on the job, he has no trainer, doesn't know the menu * Tries to remember our orders instead of writing them down even though he doesn't know the menu * customers eating next to us are almost finished with their food when their server comes by, a girl who tells them she can't finish waiting on them because she has to go to class. She tells them some one else will finish them up. * Another 3rd server comes over to that couple asks if they liked their food, the guy says no. Server says oh well. Awkward laughs ensue. * We see our newbie server, he gives us refills and our food only to be never heard or seen from again. * 3rd Server takes over newbies tables but in a hurry accidentally throws away the credit card of the people at the table in front of us. The owner of the credit card catches the mistake and ask him to retrieve the credit card. * Hostess oblivious to the situation over in our seating area keeps seating people here even though there are no serves to wait on them. * The people behind us have been seated 15 minutes ago and no one has even come over to their table to ask them for their drink order. by the time we leave, those people are still sitting there with no drinks, menus still in hands and patiently waiting. * I looked around to say something to one of the servers but all of them had abandoned our area. I thought the girl server was totally unprofessional in the way she handled the situation. If her shift is over and she can't stay you should be polite and come over with the person that will be taking over not just leave them wondering if someone is going to take away their food and bring them their bill. It also sounds like poor scheduling as well. Why did the newbie not have a trainer and where the hell is the manager? Why do they keep sitting people in an area with no servers around? I was so confused. So at least our food was good right? Ehhh not really. The strawberry lemonade was not nearly as good as the first time I visited. It was too sour and we wanted to order water but they just kept bring us refills of the strawberry lemonade. The hot buns that come to the table with your drinks really were the best part. I had the prime rib Philly sandwich with fries The prime rib chunks were too chunky and clumsy. If they had been cut better they could have been thinner and easier to eat on the sandwich. The veggies, green pepper, red pepper, onions, mushrooms were cooked in too much oil which had made the bread soggy before it even arrived at the table. The fries were not cooked well. No crisp at all to the outside and mush mush mushy. I was weirded out because they had an odd corn like taste to them. Like a corn tortilla. They must fry their fries in the same oil they fry their corn tortillas. Even slathering them in ketchup wasn't helping them. My eating companion thought her steak was dry but didn't seem to mind her fries. After getting our second strawberry lemonade she said, lets hope this one is better than the first. She choked out a Nope! after her sip. We both agreed that we've been having some great lunches in the area and finally hit a miss. After weird bad service, poorly executed food, and way too tart strawberry lemonade I think this place has run out of chances for me.

My mom had gift certificates for O'Charley's so we gave it a shot. Why not, right? She was going to make a reservation, but was told the wait during the week is no longer than 5 minutes. So it wasn't needed. When we got there, it was dead. The rest of the plaza was busy, but this place looked very empty. Hmmm... We were sat in a secluded corner. We commented that you would think they'd seat everyone closer together to make it seem busier. But no. We only had one other couple at the table next to us the whole meal. I've read the complaints about service, but ours was fine. Our waitress checked on us regularly. We all ordered different steaks and she made sure to check if they were cooked properly for us before she left the table. I ordered the ribeye. I had really wanted prime rib, but it's only offered after 4:00 on Fridays and all days Saturdays and Sundays. The ribeye had good flavor. It was pretty large, so I took half home. I also got a nice, fresh side salad and broccoli casserole. The casserole was really just broccoli, rice and cheese. My mom had the sweet potato fries and asparagus with hers. She said both were great. For dessert, I was brought caramel pie for my birthday. It was extremely rich and thick. A little too much for me, but my mom loved it and took what was left home. Overall a good experience. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Your typical chain restaurant.

Ugg that is an hour I will never get back. I had the chicken fingers and fries figured it would be pretty simple. They were hard as rocks and when the waiter came over to ask how the food was I told them how the food was and he just blew me off, continued to small talk and just walked away. I will definitely scratch this place off my list of places to go

It tends to follow the typical American "casual cuisine" chain restaurant theme, replete with the same 5 or so vegetables available at most of these restaurants. If you're not bored to death of chain restaurants and their lack of variety, the place is great. The food tastes good, but I have "exotic vegetable combination fear" ennui these days, so there are few options on the menu that, though tasty, don't bore me.

Warning to others! Don't waste your money!! Unless you crave disappointment!! So many good restaurants on Restaurant Row, this is NOT one of them! My boyfriend and I came here for the first time today, I have to say that this may have been the worst dining experience that we have ever had. It started out okay, we were sat right away, it seemed quite dead which is always a bad indicator considering it was 8pm (peak hours for restaurant). Our server was friendly enough, I ordered a house margarita and my boyfriend ordered a beer. When I received my margarita, it was so salty. I mean there was salt in the drink, lots of it. I asked my boyfriend to try it and he agreed it was undrinkable. We couldn't find our server so we saw what looked like to be a manager walking by. My boyfriend told him that the drink was too salty and the manager joked around, explained that they do not put salt in the margarita. He insisted that they made another but after that I just decided to get a beer. They removed the margarita from the check, We placed our orders, decided on the fried pickles as an app and I had ribs with fries and a salad as a starter. My boyfriend ordered the Louisiana sirloin. The server brought out my Caesar salad which consisted of lettuce drowning in Cesar dressing and no croutons. The menu said that the salad had croutons on it. Minor, not worth complaining about, but still annoying. I mean how do you screw up a classic Caesar salad? The waitress brought out our dinner. Immediately my partner and I stared at each other, where was our appetizer? The waitress came back and immediately we asked her if we were getting our appetizer. She apologized and said it was her second day and asked us if we still wanted it. We said yes and started on our entrees. My ribs were extremely average. Fries were extremely dry, probably microwaved. If you have ever brought fries home from a restaurant and had them the next day, that is exactly what they tasted like. My boyfriend began eating his steak which was incredibly over seasoned with salt and black pepper. When we cook at home, he loves black pepper and uses a lot on steaks. However the steak at O'Charley's was so over seasoned, for the first time in his life, he refused to finish the steak. I didn't think it could be that bad so I tried it and I had to get some water. It was gross. If you have ever seasoned something and the cap falls off and seasoning spills everywhere, I feel like this happened with his steak. It was so bad. Finally got our app after our attempt on the entrees. The fried pickles were salty pieces of over battered mess. They didn't look like pickles, they tasted like pure oil and grease. Disappointing all around. End of our visit we get our check and comes up to around $50 for 2. I feel like I could have gotten so much more for $50. Paid our bill, left 18% tip, as we were leaving the hostess asked how was everything, we told her not good, she asked if we wanted to see a manager but we declined as we told her we will not be coming back. I didn't want to bother with the manager as we already had previously with the drink incident and he didn't seem to take his job too seriously.

The story you are about to read is true. This is restaurant row near Sand Lake and International Drive. My name is Skacey, I carry a shiny badge. 8:48 pm. Sunday. My partner and I enter a strip mall off Sand Lake road to check the location out. While there, we stop into O'Charley's for our evening meal. The hostess was preoccupied putting plastic letters on an announcement board and only greeted us after she had finished. Once seated we order signature drinks, Smokey Mary for me, Bloody Mary with Jack Daniels. Red Sangria for my partner, served in a large martini / margarita glass, pink foam across the top from vigorous shaking. Drinks not bad, though I'm not convinces that JD improved the Mary, more of a taste observation than a quality complaint. The Sangria was too sweet, perhaps from added fruit juice of some kind. We ask our server about some of the dishes. We're told that the Filets are Meh, so stick with the ribeye if your a carnivore. I went with the Citrus Mahi while my partner orders the grilled shrimp. Overall service was good and we reciprocated with a decent tip at the end. My meal starts with a Caesar Salad, which is a decent Americanized version with heavy Parmesan and non existent anchovies. My partner opts for the house salad which is standard. After hundreds of restaurant visits I've determined that the more photos that a place displays, the more mid-grade the food and service. O'Charley's has bright, colorful photos throughout the menu just in case you couldn't visualize what salad looks like. Also, instead of photos on the walls, they have pithy slogans (pithy you ask, why yes I say, full of pith) "How do you like your steak? Well that's how we cook it." "not your garden variety" signature salads "the most important food group we serve?" the one at your table. When our meals come, my fish is served hot on a bed of luke warm rice and ice cold mango chutney over the top. Very strange temperature combo, but the flavor was decent. Spicy chutney and nutty rice offset the grilled Mahi Mahi quite well. My partner enjoyed the shrimp as well. While investigating I observed a few other items which need to go in my report. The menu's were high gloss laminated and likely cleaned with a dirty kitchen towel. Food residue and grease still visible on some pages. During our meal one employee was running a vacuum over the dirty floor, annoying and the floor was left dirty. A child in a neighboring booth banged a spoon on the table for a while, reminding us that this is family friendly with all that entails. Overall, not bad. Perhaps a minor step up from the TGI-bees or Apple-Fridays.

Nice restaurant, tucked away in the back of the Whole Foods shopping plaza. The facility is really nice. The food is ok... not great. My girlfriend had the shrimp scampi, which was really good. I ordered the Cajun Turkey Pasta. My pasta was OK. I was a little disappointed that the turkey was basically chopped up deli slices, instead of whole chunks of turkey breast. Otherwise, the flavors were good and portions were generous but not over the top. Prices were very reasonable.

I read many reviews knocking the service but we had no real issues. We showed up at 5:15 on a Saturday, were seated immediately and attended to by our waitress just a minute later. Our orders came pretty quickly although I did have to remind the server to bring bread(as many reviewers noted I might have to). My wife had the potato soup and the pot roast both of which she liked a great deal. I had the grilled North Atlantic salmon, also very good. Prices not bad either. Only complaint due to server failing to replenish my wife's coffee when asked but she didn't view it as that big a deal, at least this time. I'd like to go back to try other dishes but all in all it was a big improvement over TGIF or Ruby Tuesday. A bit annoying to get to for us coming from East Orlando but c'est la vie.

This place has 3 signature items: The rolls, the loaded-potato soup and the pepper-jack fried cheese. All unique and tasty items. We are glad there is an O'Charley's in the Central Florida area, the other locations in Florida are in the northern side of the state in the Jacksonville and Pensacola areas. We love their Louisiana sirloin stake and the cheese and broccoli side. Overall we always have a very good dining experience. The only peeve we have had is tactless and indifferent behavior from the general manager, something you do not expect from that position, but the kitchen managers are extremely kind and helpful and much friendlier, so just hope you do not catch the "general manager" on a bad day. He will ask you from the get go "What do you want" or "What do you need" instead of the more courteous and professional "Can I do anything for you" or "How can I help you". Probably there are no manners in OHIO.

Move along folks, nothing to see here. Well, almost nothing. The bread that O'Charley's brings to every table is a wonder of perfect flavor and texture, a goodness that I wish every restaurant could copy. Unfortunately, that is all that O'Charley's really has to recommend it. My elder son and I visited O'Charley's after attending the Florida Film Festival Sneak Preview Party. We were hungry and unhindered by the dietary concerns that my beloved wife might have mentioned had she been along for the evening. Accordingly, we went to a meat and potatoes kind of place. The restaurant was about 50% full--not a bad volume for a Wednesday night, but also not so busy that we should have been ignored. And we were ignored. Or forgotten. Or disregarded. We sat for at least ten minutes before our drink orders were taken and waited another 6 or 7 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We had to ask for the complimentary bread, which although complimentary did not show up on our servers brainwaves as something that he should bring to us without needing to be asked. Fortunately, the bread did put us in a better frame of mind and we were willing to overlook our initial displeasure. Then our food arrived. I was still yearning for good fish and chips (see my review of Scruffy Murphy's for more on that subject) so that is what I ordered. I also added a half order of onion rings to share with my son. He ordered a platter with a sirloin stead, shrimp and mashed potatoes. His meal came with a ceaser salad which he gave to me. The salad was adequte at best. Moderately fresh lettuce with an average ceaser dressing. I've had worse but I've also had better. My fish and chips--and the onion rings--were a replay of my experience at Scruffy Murphy's. Far too much grease ruined the meal. If you are reading this and know where I can get a good fish and chips in Orlando, please let me know! I grow desperate! My son's platter was far worse than disappointing. His steak was very small--perhaps three ounces or, as he put it, two bites. He did not expect a 16 ounce steak but the piece of meat on his plate could not really be called a steak. It looked more like someone had shaved such a small piece of meat off of a steer that the animal did not even miss it! The shrimp were worse, bearing an unpleasant resemblance to the shrimp that my elementary school used to serve but which no one would ever eat. We are not likely to return.

I'll spare you all the awful details but I can assure you they mirror other negative reviews for this restaurant. Without a doubt, the worst service EVER at a restaurant. One time is a fluke... two, three, four times, that's a problem. Don't waste your money going here. The food is not worth it and the service will make you crazy.

My husband and I stopped in today for lunch with a friend and the experience wasn't bad. It's a typical American cuisine chain restaurant. The service was great, I'm glad we didn't have the same problems in that dept as some of the other reviewers. Our server came right to our table and came back immediately with our drinks and bread. We ordered typical lunch items - soup and salads, a burger, etc, and everything was good. I did really like the loaded potato soup, wish I some more right now ;) All in all, I wouldn't go back as a planned evening but it worked out just fine for lunch with a friend.

Dropped a star. Went back to use the coupon (see my first review). We froze our butts off again and my mom even came armed with her sweater and it still didn't help. We mentioned it to the waitress and I'm pretty sure she did nothing about it. She was pretty spacey anyway. Forgot my brothers soup, forgot to bring rolls, and so on. The timing of the food was way off. The pasta I loved so much the last time, wasn't as good this time. I asked for chicken instead of Italian sausage and she claims she didn't hear me mention it (smacks forehead). I doubt I'll be back.

Visited this location on 10/5/11 at 6 pm. Have frequently dined here but it appears management may have changed. The Sesame Chicken had very little chicken and what was there was extremely thin slices. Manager stated this was their new way to prepare as they had recently received slicers from Panera bakery. She did not seem to care if we ate there or not and let us walk out dissatisfied. Have gone in the past whenever friends were in from out of town. After this experience I would hesitate to return. Although the other two meals and sampler appetizer we good, all it takes is one bad meal and one person who leaves in frustration.

We went there last night for dinner and had a horrible experience. We had bought (unfortunately) their $20 coupon book so we could save a little money. Last night, we decided to try the place out and ended up leaving in a mad rage. The hostess was fine and we were seated fairly quickly. Our waiter took about 10 mins just to come to our table even to say Hi. We overlooked that. He took our drink order and we again didn't see him for 10 mins. He took our dinner order and said "I will be right back with your soup, salad and bread". Again, another 10 mins goes by. 30 mins and we don't even have soup or salad. We see the table behind us who was seated way after us eating their soup and salad and the had 2 waiters serving them. The people to our left, were seated right before us and almost done with dinner at this point. I go to the host stand to complain and the waiter dead stops and tells me that we have only been there 10 minutes total. WHAT A FRIGGIN LIE! I have been a waitress in the past, I don't start timing anything until the 15 min mark. He is extremely rude and I get very irritated. The manager comes over and offers us a different table and different waiter. I tell her thanks but no thanks - I am completely ticked off. This is only the 2nd time I have EVER walked out of a restaurant. I cannot recommend anyone going there.

Having received a couple gift cards to this restaurant we felt like it was a safe place to try when it opened in Dr. Phillips. After 5 trips we have had nothing but trouble and the last visit was the last straw. I'll start by saying yes the bread is good. Normally we (my BF and I) ordered one of the following: Club Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Mahi Sandwich or Meatballs & Linguini. Here is where it gets confusing. Certain menu items specifically say things like - served with our signature Bleu Cheese dressing or served with honey mustard dressing or some other sauce it is supposed to be served with. In the 3 times I had the Club sandwich it never came with any sort of sauce. I had to ask for it. Same goes for the buffalo chicken sandwich and the mahi sandwich. On one occasion the BF ordered a baked potato to accompany the sandwich at lunch. After placing the order the server returned to say that they ran out of potatoes. How do you run out of potatoes? And while I mention the server, let's talk about service. I wouldn't say the service is horrible. It was hit or miss. If we sat on the patio we found that sometimes service was not as attentive, but it definitely took longer for them to come find us to start things off. Inside things were a little better but there were a few times that after they brought the food out they never came back to check on drinks. As for drinks, the strawberry lemonade is the only redeeming quality of this place and we will miss it dearly. Of course, they put so much ice in the glass you suck them down quite fast, then there's not a server to refill it to get your $3/ drinks' worth! Finally here is what ended our relationship with O'Charleys. I ordered a Club sandwich again. Of course it didn't come with the menu named honey mustard so I asked for it. Then once I received it I went to put it on the sandwich. The sandwich was cut in half but something seemed odd, then I realized it was missing a tomato on one side. It was also missing the ham and the bacon. Seriously how this even left the kitchen is beyond me. I wish I had taken a picture to show people how sad this sandwich really was. The cheese was literally a 2 inch x 1 inch slice on each side. So I wrangled the server over and said that the sandwich was missing the ham and the bacon and a tomato. He offered to remake it, Great! The sandwich returned (not remade as there were toothpick holes in the bread still) and upon opening it I found that they STILL didn't put the bacon on it. At this point I was a bit miffed, but hungry. I decided to eat the sandwich but let the server know it was still wrong. He offered the bacon but I had eaten half so I refused. A cook came out later to apologize and admitted any idiot can make a club sandwich and that they had taken it off my bill. Regardless I was over it.

The service was impeccable !!! The tater tot fondue was great!! The Cesare salad was marvelous !! The potato soup tasted like it was out of a can!! Terrible!!! Fortunately, the server took it back and added broccoli to my main dish. The baby back ribs fell off the bone. Unfortunately, there was so much sauce on them it'd drowned out the flavor of the meat. And, the broccoli was just about over cooked . I'd still try them again though.

My first visit to the restaurant was very pleasant. I absolutely loved the rolls they serve. They were warm and served with butter. I ordered the tilapia and rice pilaf! Great location to have a casual lunch.

I love ocharleys food, but the service at this location was so bad, I just walked out. I can NOT tolerate horrible service. It is what makes or breaks a place. The owner and/or manager needs to get this restaurant in order. Waited forever to even get seated and the people behind us had to go get someone. When we were seated no one came by at all.... No greet. No drink. No anything. So, got my family and we left.
