Greek Cuisine
Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.

Yamas! This just surpassed every Greek restaurant I've been to in Central Florida...and I was born and raised in Orlando. :) We came for dinner on a Friday evening and were greeted and seated immediately. Had no idea this place was right on 50 and has been there since the 70s! Everything here is extremely homemade, from scratch...and not over-seasoned. Even their tatziki sauce...you'll notice even it is very homemade. We ordered the tatziki and skordalia for appetizer. The pita bread is thin and hot...not like most restaurants that serve it thick, cold and tasteless. This pita had perfect flavor and a beautiful golden color to it. For entrees we ordered the Pastitsio and the Olympia Platter. Both were generous portions...so don't feel as though an appetizer is necessary if you're planning on dessert. ;) I was very surprised by the Dolmades. I've never ever ever ever ever cares for them, because the taste of the grape leaves really turned me off at other places I've tried them. When I had them here...I was pleasantly surprised at the mildness of the grape leaves...and how well they were cooked. The baklava was very fresh, just like we had in Katakolon, Greece this year. Many places let the honey sit for hours and soak into the baklava, making it difficult to eat. This was perfectly done...and the piece is fine for one person to eat...but we still shared. Lastly, the decor, music, table settings, outdoor seating and live belly dancer were all on par. Some lighting and their main sign could use some updating, but that's about it! I am coming back here and bring more people. Efkaristo! ;)

The experience was terrible. I ordered the Olympia plater and the meat was overcooked. My friend got a chicken kabob and it was undercooked. When we told the waiter, the manager or owner (not sure which) came out and was rude. The service was terrible. The atmosphere wasn't like described in other posts. I usually love greek food. The only thing that was ok was the salad.

We were really in an unfamiliar part of town but needed a place for a quick bite. We discovered this place via Yelp and the lunch specials were so well priced we couldn't pass. Our server directed us to the gyro combo and thank goodness she did because it was delicious! A huge gyro and fries was only $4.95! And the gyro was packed with flavor - we were so impressed and happy we came in here to eat. The space is large and spacious but the decor is worn and dated. Regardless we were thrilled with our meal selection, great prices and friendly service.

Wow, this place is absolutely delicious! I had high hopes because the other reviews were quite good, but I can easily say that my expectations were exceeded. The service: quick, friendly, and courteous. We were sat immediately. The food came out quite fast! The food: YUM! My husband and I started with the kalamari. It was a large portion, lightly breaded, and very tasty! We shared the Hercules Platter for an entrée, which was more than enough for two! We still ended up taking a box home. Everything on the platter was fresh and flavorful. It's a good way to sample all the restaurant has to offer. My personal favorite was the moussaka. Of course we had to end with the baklava cheese cake. OMG. It was fabulous - sweet and flaky and just generally perfect. I'm so glad to have found a great Greek restaurant so close to home! I'll definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem in an area where your options are pretty much fast food or greasy diner. The service is friendly, the lunch specials are $5 (!!), and the food is freaking good. This place has tablecloths and cloth napkins and $5 lunch options, for Pete's sake. I don't know why I don't eat lunch here every damn day. Go, go, go. You won't be disappointed.
(5)Ode E.
I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars not because of the food but how we were treated by the staff. Let's start with the positive, kalamari is very popular. Nice chunks lightly breaded not the typical calamari rings with nice touch of peppers and onions. Includes a very tasty red sauce. A los tried mousake, gyro. We were very pleased with food and taste. Now for the staff, we have a large group and we had about 10 more propel than expected. Ok, I can see a problem if restaurant was busy but besides another table occupied, we were the only patrons on a Friday night. Waitress was mortified and keep complaining to us that we initially had a smaller group. After hearing it for 4 times and screwing our orders, I was one of the lucky ones that didn't get my food, I had it. Told.her I didn't want to hear again we were a large group, stated the obvious restaurant was empty and that we were paying patrons. We were a group of around 25, that is not that many when you thinks their capacity is much more and we were the only ones there. Three waitresses couldn't get our bills . straight but yet slapped us with 18 percent gratuity. Bottom line, if you don't care for bad service then try this restaurant but be aware they may not get the orders right and you may be yelled by the staff.

Our family had lunch here today and both kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, the service attentive, the servings generous, the prices reasonable, and the atmosphere attractive. Can't wait to come back for dinner!
(5)Deb D.
The food was fantastic !!!. I stumbled on this place by accident and so glad i did. I started with the Dolmades; nicely seasoned you could tell they were fresh. I also ordered the Gyro special. The meat was tender, pita was fresh. But the best part came was the Tzatziki. I went back a week later to eat. I have spent time in Crete. This restaurant is the closest you get to Greece without the plane ticket.
(5)Kelly G.
The best Greek food I have ever had, My husband is Greek and I have been eating Greek food for years and I also cook it myself. The Lamb was amazing. The service was awesome. The server even brought out samples of Greek wine for us to try. The Hurcules had some of everything it was sooo good I split it with my daughter and still brought some home. I can't wait to go again
(5)Melissa R.
Some of the best Greek food I've had here in Orlando. Was not a fan of their grape leaves, but their mosaka was awesome along with their Greek salad, rice and red sauce. Definitely will be returning!
(4)John A.
We started off with hummus which was good and scordalia which was ok. I got the chicken breast which was juicy and flavorful. It came with rice and veggies. Rice had red sauce over it and the veggies was the frozen type. My sis got the Greek sausage which was tasty. Think it had thyme and Rosemary. Overall it was a good experience there. This place has been there for years.

Best Gyro Lunch Special Arround, enough said. Well dinner is pretty tasty as well and service has always been really great

What a "hidden gem"! I've driven back and forth past Olympia for the past few years and never really realized it. The other day I was craving something new so Yelp led me to Olympia on Colonial. I'm so glad it did! Although the building looks a bit old, it is totally worth it. The first thing I noticed upon walking inside the restaurant was the eclectic decor and the 3D "painting" of the Parthenon which was pretty awesome. Saying the decor really immerses you in the Greek culture is an understatement- never having been to Greece, I felt like I was really there lol I noticed that they had a lunch special for $5.99 for a Gyro and a soda but I felt like getting something else. We got an appetizer order of Hummus. I'm not an authority on Hummus but I feel like I've had enough Hummus to know when it's good. Let me tell you....Olympia delivered! The Hummus was excellent, maybe the best I've ever had. The order comes with some pita bread which was amazingly warm and fresh. We ran out of pita bread as they gave us sort of a small amount but they were more than happy to offer us more when we ran out of what we had. They offered us the extra pita bread at no additional charge. We even got some Hummus to go when we left!! To the main course. I love Greek food and wanted to try a few of their choices so I got the "Olympia Platter". Again, not a disappointment. The platter is a bit pricey at $17 but includes a great portion of Greek salad and dinner roll prior to the meal. The Greek salad was a great portion and had an amazing Greek dressing, a few kalamata olives, a fresh and juicy pepperoncini, and a good serving of fresh feta cheese- the staple of any good Greek salad. The dinner roll was just that but it was nice and warm and served with a side of butter if I chose to pair those two. The platter itself is comprised of "A combination platter with mousaka, roast lamb, and dolmades. Served with rice and vegetables.". The Mousaka was excellent; the roast lamb was well cooked, moist, tender, and very flavorful; the rice was moist but not soggy and had a nice tomato sauce on it. That same sauce was also on the vegetables which were fresh, crisp, and well cooked. Last but not least, the Dolamades. There was one of them and I wish I had more. Sometimes, at other restaurants, the Dolmades are too soggy or have too much "goo" on them from sitting for too long. Not this one. It seemed very fresh and perfectly seasoned. There was a lemon on it which I squeezed to give the extra lemon taste which really brought the flavor of the seasoning, meat, and rice out of the Dolmade. So good! Here is a picture of the platter I got, minus the salad/roll: i.imgur.com/mwEo2.jpg The last thing I will touch on is the service. As soon as you walk in you immediately get the feel of a family owned and run restaurant. With them being in business since the 70's they are certainly "doing it right". I forget our server's name but she was very polite, extremely helpful, offered choice advice on the food, and was prompt getting drink refills to the table. I will certainly be going back as well as telling all my friends to visit for a meal. Hope this review pays it forward and steers someone to Olympia like I was. Thanks for a great dining experience, Olympia!! :)

I keep trying to find places with dolme as good as Olympia's, but I never come close. As background, my family and I have been patrons of Olympia for over 20 years, and their quality has not deteriorated at all. I love the food, the atmosphere and the attitude of the staff and owners. This is a gem in non-touristy Orlando!
(5)Linh Elaine T.
bring your business here!!! I think people are intimidated because it's located on colonial and it's in a quiet location. service and food is outstanding!
(5)Jo P.
Great food...good service...will be back.
(5)Loretta M.
I've eaten here about a hundred times... everything is delicious, and the service is great!. My favorites are the feta saganaki and the avgolemono soup. I put a little extra lemon in it to make it even more tangy. So delicious! I love Olympia!!!
(5)Robert C.
service and food were fantastic. They also have a very nice selection of Greek wine, not something that one finds very easily in my area. The sampler platter with the various spreads was delicious, as was the lamb, as was the pork tenderloin. This place is terrific
(5)Kai B.
Had a family dinner there last night. The food was really great, really delicious, good greek food. We even got a greeting from the chef as dessert.
(5)Steve S.
Olympia was one of our regulars long ago, so it was nice rediscovering new remodeled version (yes, it been awhile.) Our meal was delicious including the best Kleftico (leg of lamb) I've ever had. It was slow cooked to perfection where you didn't even need a knife to pick the meat from the bone. Greek salad was tasty, too. I also recommend the red house Greek wine. Service was impeccable. The only negative I can say is that it seemed to me to be on the expensive side for the atmosphere (nice casual and family style seating, nothing wrong with that at the right price.) We did not go on a night when there was entertainment, so perhaps the cost would have been more justified if we had. We will check out the entertainment next time. Check it out.
(4)Kathy D.
We went here on a cold chilly night. We ended up being the only one in the restaurant around 7pm on a Wednesday night. So we were a little skeptical. It ended up being a delicious meal. We ordered a Gyro with Potato Wedges and and Greek Salad. Pretty typical dishes, but the food was great! It looked like they spent a lot of decor on the restaurant. Its sad that its not as busy as it should be.
(4)John T.
My wife and I frequent this restaurant because it offers the best Greek food in Orlando. The staff is very caring and gracious, and they always do their best to make your dinning experience pleasurable. If I wanted Greek food - this is truly the only place to go. Recently, we were in Tarpon Springs. My wife and I ate at three different Greek restaurants - none of them were as good as Olympia. It's a pleasure to recommend them - Great food, nice atmosphere, caring staff ! John T 8/28/13

We were looking for a good Greek restaurant in Orlando and after reading a few reviews we decided to take a chance on Olympia in East Colonial. We drive by the restaurant almost daily but we never bother to go in. For starter we order the octopus salad, light but very tasteful. My wife ordered the grilled land platter, this was really good, and tasty. The seasoning was right on point, citric, Oregano, parsley and garlic, WOW really good. I had the Gyro platter, and the meat was moist and tender. The Greek wine made the whole meal even better. About the restaurant, the place is a lot larger than what it looks like from the outside. The décor is nice, it was Sunday and I guess that Sunday is not their busy day. We are definitely going to Olympia. Great food, quiet place, good value, and lots of good food....
(5)Christa F.
Pita appetizer had warm, delicious pitas and hummus. Small Greek salad was huge and well seasoned. Gyro and chicken slovaki sandwiches were excellent. We will be back!

First, I rarely give a location/eating establishment 5 stars, but this place earned all 5 stars plus. Husband and I visited this location on April 12th 2013 around 830 pm-930 pm, we missed the belly dancing show by about 30 minutes so this review will just be regarding our meal. We ordered the Roasted Red Pepper Humus with pita bread as an appetizer, which was so good and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. Not a single bite was wasted on this appetizer. My husband ordered the Hercules Platter which comes with 5 different items and I ordered the Olympia Platter which comes with only 3 different meal items. ALL I can say is wow, there wasn't a single item on my plate or my husband's plate that wasn't fresh delicious full amazing flavor. He really enjoyed the roasted lamb and I enjoyed the Moussaka and the grape leave flavored item., and the vegetables were great too. For dessert, I ordered and ate the Tiramisu and my husband ordered and ate the Baklava Cheesecake and we both had coffee. ALL I can say again is wow, amazing, and delicious. Overall the meal wasn't cheap, expect to spend some $$$ when your bill arrives and your meal is finished. But to enjoy such a high quality meal was quite an experience. The decor was also an added bonus that led to authenticity of the place & experience of eating at a Greek Restaurant.

I was looking forward to belly dancers and a lot of 'OOooPAHS!' but was sadly disappointed when the belly dancer only performed for about 3 minutes and both the meals and service were sub par. A group of friends and I decided to take on Olympia for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is quaint and kind of cheesy, but I'm not one to judge so I was still on board. Things started to look down after we ordered and one persons meal came out early and he was finished eating before any other plate was brought to the table. My meal came late and all the others were nearing the end of their meal by the time I started mine. The server seemed like a nice man, but he was a bit spacey and awkward... the menu was typical Greek favorites, but I wasn't impressed with the flavor or presentation.
(2)Marcus S.
Strictly food speaking: very tasty authentic greek fare, portions were great, price was too much. I had the Gyro platter which came with an ample supply of lamb (the pita portion and Tzatki were lacking). Overall the flavors were great but a little on the high side for price
(3)Danielle B.
It's been quite a while since I've visited for dinner but I am a regular for lunch. They do a great special...$4.95 for a gyro or chicken on pita with fries. Both very tasty. You can also order from the regular menu and a lot of the items come with a small Greek salad and soft drink included. The dolmades are good and come with a lemony sauce that I really enjoy. I also really dig the Olympia salad that can be topped with lamb or chicken. The small portion is more than enough. Service is friendly and accommodating. Give them a shot!
(4)Angel M.
Yummy Greek food on the East side of Orlando. Lots of food for a good price. Their small salads are plenty big enough for lunch and the grilled chicken that you can choose is hot. The gyros specials at lunch are delish and the hummus app is huge. Eat here!
(5)Manfred R.
This is the best Greek food in Orlando, period. I have been a customer since 1989, and I love their food, wines, service, live music and belly dancers.
(5)Tracy M.
Good food. Needs more vegetarian options. Never busy, but always a little slow. Nice servers. The decor is out dated, but kinda charming in a wired way.
(4)Samantha S.
Fantastic service! Very friendly. Great Greek food! Some of the best in Florida. They also have fabulous desert
(5)Shirley H.
Great food. I ordered the Olympia Platter, big portions. I don't know if it's like this every night but the night that my friends and I went, belly dancers would perform every half hour or so and would encourage diners to participate.
(4)Safiya S.
I love this place. I go with a group of people the last thursday of every month and we have lots of run; not to mention the food is good. It is a great place to go as a group and order as a group so you can taste everything.
(5)Josie D.
absolutely fantastic! some of the best chicken I have ever had I can safely say! It was cute and our waitress was a sweetheart and even sent us home with a little dessert since we had to leave early. Wish I lived in Orlando just so I could go here regularly!
(5)Sherryl S.
Well, I am so glad i have found Yelp, because as i said i love reviews, This place i have also been to a few times, I LOVE IT, but then again i love greek food and music, there is nothing better to get you in the mood, we have taken a few people we know there, and they still ask to go back, It is a bit far for me, and a bit shabby but i feel i am in greece for a few hours, when i am there, the food is not expensive at. all and great.
(4)Virginia R.
FINALLY! My friends and I have found a Greek restaurant in Orlando that not only has amazing food but an amazing atmosphere! We came to Olympia around 8 pm on Friday night and wined, dined and danced (yes, danced) the night away at Olympia. Spanish, Black, Asian, Greek, whatever you are, you will find yourself doing the Greek circle dance mid-dessert. I don't know whether it was the loud music, or the multi colored lights or the three bottles of FREE wine that the owner sent over which made our experience unforgetable. Plus, there were mesmerizing belly dancers that performed throughout our dinner. They were 2 beautiful women that were extremely talented in ways that you will just have to see for yourself! At Olympia, everyone's family, so unbutton your pants like its Thanksgiving and sit down to the mouth watering saganaki (flaming cheese), the to-die for tzatzkii sauce and the flowing supply of red wine. MMmm did i forget to mention the tasty baklava??? Thank you Demetri, how I love you. Opa!!
(5)Debbie K.
I have been to Olympia many times. It is by far the best Greek restaurant from Miami to Orlando. This is not one of those chain restaurants but family owned which makes it sooooo much better. The owners take pride in the restaurant and are so friendly with all their guests. I have never had a bad meal and everything is is cooked to perfection. They also have the bellydancers which make thing alot of fun while dining. Great, great food. You have to go. DK
(5)Brian W.
We were looking for a nice place to eat and Olympia was recommended by my neighbor. I had never heard of it despite their being in Orlando for 30 years. So we went there for dinner and to scope the place out. Wow was it good! The owner came over (glass of wine in hand), sat down and bought us appetizers and wine. We spent 30-45 minutes just chatting with him before he pulled us into the middle of the restaurant to learn to Greek dance. It was a great time. The atmosphere, the food, the show were all great. A few days later we went back for lunch to see if it was a fluke. The owner was so happy we came back he bought us more food and sat to chat once again. Olympia has quickly become one of our favorite Orlando restaurants.
(5)Jen N.
I recently dined there with a few friends and it was absolutely horrible! The service was awful and the food was mediocre. We got there around 7:30pm, and left at 10pm! The food took forever to come out. Staff was not friendly/nor apologetic. ! I would never go there again or recommend it.
(1)Boo P.
Greek food is always delicious. I like their lunches. Great prices and variety of meats and dishes. The dinner prices are a bit higher, but still reasonable.
(4)Dan B.
Wow! I came back to Olympia and I have to mention that you must try the desserts. They are fantastic! We shared the pecan-caramel ice cream and the black and white mousse cheesecake. They were to die for! Honestly. I also tried the Aphrodite as my meal which is a chicken stuffed with melted feta and spinach. It was great. You can always expect to get great Greek food and to my surprise, great desserts at Olympia.
(5)Jeff O.
Do you like being immersed into another culture while dining? Olympia is all about that. They're gonna wrangle your ass into the Greek culture and tantalize your senses! All 6 of them. The food is very good, from appetizers to main courses. I had the hummus, which was just right in every way. Fresh, hot pita comes with it of course. The Chicken Kabob platter was very tasty as well. Quite filling and memorable. My friends had good things to say about their dinners as well, Mousaka and a vegetarian platter. Opa! Opa! At some point in the night on Fridays (and possibly Saturdays), belly dancers come out and dance in the middle of the floor! Loud music pumps out throughout the restaurant, and there is nowhere to hide... You're part of the show now! Dancers make magic on the carpeted dance area, and walk around tempting patrons to get up and dance for a few seconds with them. It's a lot of fun if you're adventurous and ready to let loose. One of my friends, Scott R. was a p*ssy, and wouldn't go dance with this gorgeous Asian girl! I certainly went for it though! She was a dream. In addition to the dancers, a few other employees came out and did this traditional dance on a sturdy wine glass! They set the glass down, and kept hopping on it, doing funny Greek dances around the room. Also very entertaining. Highly recommended if you like or love Greek food and want to be whisked away to Greece for an hour or two.
(5)Susan M.
Wow. The staff is friendly, the food is great and the price is right. And did I mention the baklava? Divine!
(4)Adam P.
Amazing place a decade ago, but now that Taverna Opa and a few other Greek places have opened, it's really losing its touch. Still great food and you'll have a good time, but it's not what it once was.
(3)Subs E.
this is good. they have belly dancers too. nice waiters
(5)Mike D.
Thanks to Yelp I found this place just before arriving to Orlando and was anxious to try it. Considering the location and the fact that it's been around since '79, you know it has to be good to have stayed in business. The restaurant seems perfect for large parties, but it was my girlfriend and me for this night. We started with some tasty Greek beer, a pork skewer and eggplant hummus, which was so good we got some to go! I was having trouble deciding what to get so I ordered the Hercules platter because it came with pretty much everything. We ordered the Octopus for a starter but were informed that it wouldn't be ready for at least 20 minutes that we opted to wait for. A few beers, a bottle of wine and a full belly was the course for this evening. The food was all fresh, delicious and plentiful. Right as we were starting to wine down, literally and figuratively, the belly dancer appeared and started doing her thing. This place is a hidden gem to say the least and it's sad that it's tucked away on some random, construction filled road on the outskirts of Orlando. If you have some time to explore while visiting Orlando it's about 20 minutes from I-4 and well worth the trip!
(5)Brianna G.
This place was great! After getting a coupon from restaurant.com my boyfriend and I decided to try it out. We ordered each ordered a greek salad and split the Hercules platter. The food was great, the services was quick, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend!
(4)jen h.
olympia is one of my FAVORITE places to go! they have the best greek food! the grape leaves are to die for, as well as many of their other platters. i have never gone wrong with any of the food there. not only is the food awesome, but the desserts are as well. and the atmosphere! they have belly dancers, which are a lot of fun! the whole staff is entirely friendly and do their best to make you enjoy your stay. whenever i crave greek food, i crave olympia. i recommend going to eat on a night that they have the dancers. get there between 8 or 9. eat, be merry, enjoy the dancers. stay and have some wine.
(5)Kim K.
The food was very good! Unfortunately, I had no idea the restaurant turned into a club in the evening. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my 40th birthday with family and friends per a recommendation from a coworker who's eaten there for lunch. I love Greek food, and have been to Taverna Opa before which was excellent. So we decided to try Olympia. As I said the food was really good. The service was kind of slow, but we were ok with that because we realize the food is fresh. The Belly Dancing was fun to watch as well. However, after the Belly Dancer came out at 8pm, the restaurant turned into a club with loud hip hop music, and a few people got up to dance. Unfortunately our table was right in the middle where the dancing was, and the people were basicly dancing into our table. We were hoping for a nice authentic Greek evening out with Greek food and Greek music in the background. On top of that, our waiter was horrible. I'm thinking maybe he was new. He had no recommendations, no sense of humor, did not really converse with us, nor come by to check on us especially when the food was taking so long. He took our bread basket which had just enough for one per person, and didn't even ask if we wanted anymore. Just took it and that was the last of it. He never heard anything we were saying (probably because the music was so loud). We would order things, and he'd come out with some stuff and we'd ask about the other things we mentioned and he'd say oh, I didn't hear you. To end the night, he brought out a baklava with a candle in it per my husband and dad's request, and that was nice. When the waiter asked if anyone else wanted anything, most said no, but my dad ordered a baklava for himself. The waiter came over and gave us the check. We waited a few minutes, and then when he came to pick up the payment, we asked where my dad's dessert was and he said, Oh, I didn't hear you. So he went and got it and gave us another check for it. That was the end of it. After that I decided I will never go back. It's too bad, because the food is really good.
(3)Russ F.
Got a Keo Greek beer which was good. Grape leaves with meat and rice with a really good tart creamy sauce, I only wish there was more meat if I got an appetizer that would be enough. My girlfriend got the musaka which was good as well. We went on a Saturday night and it was not that busy. They have been around for a long time and the food quality and service are top quality give this place a try.
(3)Jonathan R.
Has to be one of the best hummus in Orlando! The 5.95 lunch special (gyro & frys) was also a great value.
(5)Mitch F.
Nice pleasant place. Visited here for lunch. Everything was fine...we've just have a favorite Greek restaurant which exceeds the taste of that which we ordered here. I would suggest you visit and see for yourself. Nothing bad to say here.
(3)Edward D.
We had a family dinner and celebration. The food was amazing (I had the Aphrodite) and the staff made special efforts for some of the picky kids. It was a bit of a drive but well worth it.
(5)Brandon G.
Went here with a buddy of mine. He insisted that I try it because it's a place that he and his wife frequent. Had to thank him for the recommendation. This place is awesome! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it all comes together inside. I had the lamb gyro with fries. So good and cheap! This lunch special was only $4.95! We decided to be a couple of fatsos and try the baklava cheesecake. It was awesome! Never had baklava like that. On top of all of this, our server was very friendly and helpful with my menu questions. I will definitely be back.

I don't normally like ANYTHING... Well maybe not that bad but I AM a foodie and know good food and chefs-when I taste it and this place was awesme! Good quality chicken cuts grilled and spiced to perfection- everything was very homemade and delicious. Service was very good portions were large- prices were not the cheapest but when you get your meal you'll understand why..Very impressed. No wonder it's been around 30 years!

I grew up with homemade mediterranian food from my grandmother who is now ill and hasnt been able to cook like she used to. This food brought me right back to my childhood. Authentic and so good. Thank you! We were very impressed when a beautiful belly dancer started to dance for us. Only complaint, get better table cloths.

Food and service are both great. Can't beat the $5 Gyro lunch special which is very good. My daughter (who's a vegetarian) loved the falafels. I tasted them, they are very tasty. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good Greek food.

Today my husband and I were looking for some homemade food and this was definitely the place to go. My husband has eaten in Athens, Greece and stated was very close! The best greek food we've eaten in Orlando so far. I'm very picky about my lamb, I had the Olympian platter and it was delicious. The lamb tasted very juicy and savory. I loved the fact the place was not crowded and the attention was like going to grandma's house.

This has become our first choice in Greek food. The service is always friendly and gracious, and the lunch specials are excellent -- chicken pitas (served with fries) are only $5! They are delicious, and it's always a good, filling meal. If you're not interested in the chicken, the gyro meat and souvlaki are also fantastic. If fries aren't your thing (but they are good fries!) you have the option of getting a salad for an extra charge. It's light and flavorful and topped with grated cheese. For an appetizer, I'd recommend the skordalia -- a potato-based dip with a ton of garlic and pita on the side for dipping. If you're a fan of garlic (who isn't?) you really need to try it. Some of the other reviews are talking about the atmosphere in the evening, and it makes me really want to check it out. We have always been coming in for lunch, when it's always very quiet.

Had dinner last night. Food was solid Greek food, but it was a bit expensive compared to other Greek places. The service was friendly, however the belly dancing and loud music was a bit annoying.

I'm here almost every weekend for lunch and I usually get the gyro, which is delicious, but I decided to try the falafel lunch special today and it was amazing. It was so good I may go back tomorrow. The staff is awesome and you cant beat the prices. The best greek in East Orlando.

I've lived in Orlando for 17 years, and this is the first time I've been to Olympia. The food is amazing. The souvlaki was tender and juicy. The spanakopita crust was fresh, flaky and delicious. The tzatziki sauce was the best I have ever had. Creamy, tart and savory all at the same time. The baklava was the perfect end to a great meal. I can't wait to go back. It is no wonder this place has been here since 1979. Not the best part of town, but definitely worth the drive.

Great food for the price! The baklava cheese cake is amazing!! They also had a belly dancer that came in and danced for awhile. Overall great experience for the price I will definitely be going back!

I am so unbelievably impressed by your restaurant. My husband and I are on our Honeymoon and staying right down the street. We are tired and tired of driving so choosing your place was partly because I like Greek food and partly because it was close. We literally could not have made a better choice. The food was amazing. The wait staff was awesome and attentive. And the belly dancer entertaining the crowd was so fun. I wish we lived closer so we could come back. Love it!

Authentic Greek at its finest! Best greek I have ever had. From the taste its obvious only best ingredients were used the cooks know how to do it right. Some nights they will have belly dancers as entertainment. Great service. Great food.

Enjoyable dining experience. My wife and I had dinner and started with kalamari. Some of the best I've ever had! Tender kalamari with very light breading. We shared a tomato and feta salad which was big enough for two. We then shared the largest sampler platter they offered, the Hercules! The gyro meat was some of the best I've ever had. My wife especially liked their bechemel sauce. The service was very good. Lindsay was great!

The food is really good, but a little pricey. I think the quality is really what you pay for. You have plenty of options on the menu. It's not a fancy joint but not extremely casual either. The service is sweet and attentive. The decor could use some work but it's not a huge issue. Overall, if I'm in the area, I'll come back and eat.

Do not get the saganaki. It was so gross that we paid for it and left without finishing it. It was not worth finding out if the rest of the food was good. So I cannot comment on any of the other food. Staff was friendly. But I will most likely never go back unfortunately. Still looking for good Greek food in the area.

Been here a few times, lunch is great and a bargain, hummus is one of the best I've ever had, but the dinner was overpriced and I was a little disappointed with the food.
