"Ma'am, we don't judge here!" (In reply to me confessing Menchie's was my breakfast this morning) #lifelongcustomer #chocolatecoveredstrawberriesasatopping #byeeggs

Menchie's is my favorite of all the self serve yogurt places. It's a little pricey, but not pricier than the others. I like that their toppings have covers on them. It seems more sanitary. I also like that the sample cups are self service. I hate asking for them when I'm feeling introverted.

I'd say this is a fine option for a reasonably priced outing or snack. Everything is pretty standard froyo, in that you make a cup of yogurt (basically ice cream) and top it yourself. You pay by weight (not the same thing as mass. Keep in mind that the molar mass of frozen yogurt with 35% toppings is 24.6667g/mol when making your selection). It usually rounds out to about $5 a person, and you get to sit and look at the goings on of downtown Orlando. Good price, good location. You can park in the publix lot.

I'm new to the neighborhood and living only two blocks away, I was excited because I love menchies. When we walked in the staff was two girls and they were laying on the counter. They didn't greet us and looked annoyed when we took sample cups. They were out of the spicy chai latte and watched me try to get the machine to work without offering help. One of the machines poured a little quick and I spilled a little on the bottom of the shelf that catches the yogurt. I apologized and they just looked at each other without saying anything. The toppings bar was running low on several things and they were just watching as we made our choices which made it uncomfortable. When we paid the one girl didn't say anything the entire time other than "want your receipt"? No response to our thank you, it seemed like we were a huge inconvenience. I will not be coming back here. I don't expect you to be Ms. Mary Sunshine but being rude is uncalled for and ruins a business.

The only reason this place is still open is because of its location. There are sooooooooo many other places to grab frozen yogurt around town that this is only a convenience thing. Their selection is not only limited, it also lacks imagination. The toppings are not labeled and also less plentiful than competitors. The service is ehh but that's par for the course as most of the frozen yogurt places are staffed by high schoolers

I'm always a sucker for Menchies, so I'm pretty glad that there's one right by me. This Menchies location is pretty standard in terms of flavor selections and toppings, but I was a bit disappointed with the fresh toppings section. There were a bunch of fruits, but they didn't look so appealing anymore (there was a fruit fly swimming in the kiwis) and they didn't have any bobas! A bit disappointing, but I will still return to this location.

Great location, and even better staff! Lori made sure that an issue we had with our visit was WELL taken care of, and was such a pleasure to speak with. On top of that the ladies that work there are so nice and attentive they make you want to return! Would recommend this location to anyone!

I do love me some menchies. This is the newest froyo joint downtown at the Paramount on Lake Eola. Perfect spot to take your pup, grab some froyo and walk the lake. Or just sit outside and people watch! Late hours are perfect for the location, open till 11pm during the week and Fri/Sat till midnight. Score. Everything you know and love about Menchies, right in the thick of things downtown! Not the easiest parking if you are just going for froyo but within walking distance of so much.

Some people fancy themselves experts on fine wine or cigars or biochemistry. But not me. My forte is in the art of frozen desserts of the ice cream/frozen yogurt variety. Seriously...I eat a lot of froyo. And I LOVE this place because I can walk to it and their flavors are amazing (peanut butter, cookies and cream, ice cream sandwich, blueberry). They also have a nice topping bar including my faves blackberries, cheesecake and strawberry fizz candy (not sure what the hell it is but it is excellent). So my gripe is not with the product. My issue is with the service. We come here A LOT and lately the service is terrible. Last night, the gf and I walk in. Two guys are there and we get no greeting. I walk by and there is 1 sample cup. I take it, they look at it and go back to talking. When I pay, the guy doesn't even talk to us and acts like it's an inconvenience t ring me up. Finally, the other guy has headphones on, cleaning, and singing semi-loud R&B. Not trying to be nit picky but if I want to hear Bruno Mars, I will listen to the album. Menchies thrives on an upbeat, bright atmosphere and this kind of service ruins the whole image. I will still come back and still my tell my friends they have awesome flavors but I would disclaimer the service because it has gotten that bad.

This place sucks. If you promote that you are open until 11, don't close at 10:15. It's that simple

I love this downtown location, it's never crowded and close enough to enjoy Lake Eola afterwards.

Yum! Wish they had more no sugar added (or better yet, a sugar free option) froyo choices. They do offer a couple of no sugar added ones, but they're not flavors I like. Also wish they had a chocolate tart froyo flavor! Original Tart is one of my favorites!

we are big menchie's fans. i love their froyo, love the toppings, love the menchie characters!!! but i had to write this review because i just had my daughter's birthday party at menchie's in the paramount and it was SO AMAZING. i would give more stars if it were possible. they decorated the store and provided dedicated space for the partygoers. menchie (the plush mascot) appeared at the party and took pictures (polaroids, which they then gave us...awesome) and interacted with all the children. aside from getting as much froyo as they wanted, all of the kids also got menchie's shirts to color as a party activity. they provided goodie bags for the party full of really cute menchie's swag and balloons for all the kids. they also gave a special little gift to the birthday girl. everyone was super friendly and the whole experience was great. i would recommend having a party at menchie's to anyone!! #1 fan :)

I love frozen yogurt and it doesn't get any better than this. This Menchie's is located a hop away from Lake Eola, near Thorton Park. Only a couple of doors down from the Eola Wine Company. I decided to try the swirl of Dulce de Leche and the flavor of the month Ice Cream Sandwich! The best of both worlds!!!! Creamy, yummy goodness with a touch of Butterfinger and chocolate chips from their toppings bar. My friend tried the Red Ripe Strawberry with Marshmallows and fruit. She loved it! This location swaps out flavors monthly. The toppings bar has so many selections to choose from you can't be disappointed. Menchie's is super clean and Ryan that worked there was super helpful, explaining the Gluten and Low Carb free options. Actually above all the flavors a sign will tell you such options as low in High Fructose Corn Syrup, Kosher Certified, Low Fat, Low Carb, Gluten Free and more! Oh and don't worry about parking, you can park in the Publix Garage for free!!!!

When I learned there was going to be a Menchies opening downtown, I was truly happy, until I moved to Deltona, tragic... In any case, Menchies, I've written a Haiku of my love for you: Delight, then sorrow Yogurt, toppings, pink and white Menchies gone, I cry I'm no poet, but I love me some Menchies. Great yogurt flavors and AWESOME topping bar, including peanut butter sauce! Whoa.

At first glance the space us very clean, nicely decorated, with a pleasant "bakery" smell to it. The flavor selection was ok; I'm a big fan of frozen yogurt and I'm picky when it comes to selection. They had two flavors catered to the holiday and then others which I'm guessing are their "staples". The staff was pleasant but not overly helpful: no one asked if we had been there before, asked if we wanted to try any samples, or suggested trying any new flavors. This is what I've generally encountered when I've entered a fro-yo place before. However, on a happy note, when the staff did greet at while we checked out, they were friendly and positive. The overall taste of the product was average but with the price being a lot high than I usually pay for frozen yogurt ($0.49 per ounce) I don't think I'll be back. The fro-yo didn't have that "healthy/diet" taste that my boyfriend hates when I drag him away from typical ice cream shops but both of us felt that the flavors could have been more spot on. If I get "peanut butter" I need to really get the flavor and I've tasted other products that did a better job. It's a nice stop for a cool treat if your downtown but for that price and lack of welcoming atmosphere I'll just walk a couple of blocks to the 7-Eleven for a slurpie.

Great selection of yogurt flavors - I mixed cake batter, chocolate and vanilla. There are a lot of toppings to choose from - love the cookie dough and cheesecake! I wish they had mochi, maybe next time! Pay by the weight so you can have as much, or as little, as you like. Can't wait to go back!

Ok, if you follow my posts then you KNOW that i am addicted to Froyo. I truly prefer Mechies froyo over all others. In my opinion, they have better flavors and a wider variety. This Menchies opened about a year ago, so everything is pretty new. They keep everything pretty clean, so that is always a plus. The owner (or manager) and the staff are always friendly.
