The Mediterranean pizza is my favorite. Chock full of olives, spinach, brocolli, and other good-for-you things - a slice of this pizza will fill you up! The temperature in this restaurant is sub-zero and I end up freezing my a$$ off everytime. Just make sure you pack a sweater! Overall, a good option in the Avalon Park area although there are much better options outside of Avalon.

Seriously, this is my favorite place to go when I have to drive through Orlando. The first time I walked in, I was delighted that the walls were painted like an Italian village and the Colosseum. The street lamps and the big booths made for a very cozy feel. Some of the booths can seat 4 people on each side! All the staff is very friendly- you can't walk in or out without someone wishing you a good day! Now the food - I ordered a a meat lover's pizza and house salad - which came quickly and were delicious! There's a large variety of items on the menu - soups, salads, calzones, pizzas course!). Coming in for lunch is always a pleasure, they offer a number of lunch specials and you can order online or call your order and they'll have it ready for you speedily. If you want a slice of pizza they don't have out already, they'll make a new one just for you. While I was there, I overheard the delivery boy agreeing to drive an order to a home 10 miles from the restaurant!! I was very impressed with their dedication to customer service. Awesome restaurant, I will be back again soon. And again. And again.

Great food, great prices, friendly employees and owners! My wife and I either go or order from Lil' Anthony's frequently and are always satisfied. We recently had them cater a special occasion and the owners came to personally deliver the food. They went above and beyond what was requested and everyone at the party gave the food high marks.

The place was great and the staff even greater!!! We had the Pepperoni & Sausage pizza and were both amazing! Also ordered garlic wings - DELISH! and caesar salads - Very good. Wings are big, pizza and salad portions were huge! Nice family atmosphere! We will definitely be back again for more!!!

I went in this Saturday for dinner. We decided to give their dine in a chance. My wife ordered the same salad and I ordered the Lasagna. My wife raved about her salad and it did look really good. (See description above). The lasagna came with garlic knots and I ordered the ministone soup. The garlic knots were smoothered in garlic butter and parmasean. They were good. The minstrone soup was ok. The lasagna was bland and almost on the level of Chef Boyardee. As much as I wanted this place to be a great find, I have to just stand by my decision of "it's not bad, but just ok." I would like to add that the service is friendly and attentive. So if you live in the area and you don't want to drive anywhere far for Italian, Lil'Anthony is a good alternative.

Pizza and Stromboli is not the best around but is ok. I have been here several times and have always been a little disappointed by their pizza. The Stromboli is ok but it is very inconsistent day to day. The atmosphere within the restaurant is that of a sports/burger bar in my opinion. There are not too many options for good pizza in the area so it's a shame they can not kick it up a bit.

We 1st came in here 3 years ago when we 1st moves from NYC.....and it has consistently been good pizza. Beats the Dominos and Pizza Hut that my husband and son like to order. The garlic knots are really good although on occasion they skimp on the garlic. I have yet to try any of their entrees but will get to it.

I work in the area so I decided to call and place an order for lunch. The telephone was answered with a automated greeting which I found odd. Are they really that busy? Okay, so when I did get a real person, the service was good. I placed my order and they surprisingly called to let me know it was ready for pick up. Nice touch! I ordered Chicken Parm. The serving was quite large. It ended up being enough for lunch and dinner. They service side salad, which was a bit small, but tasty. Their bread was exceptional, hot, tasty and with lots of garlic. I would visit again.

Best Pizza in the 32828 area code. Service is always prompt and friendly and sometimes call when your order's ready. Awesome pizza, sauce is tasty, crust is delicious. My only gripe is the toppings are sometimes inadequate (small amounts) but otherwise never an issue.

First time here. Had lunchchicken parmigian with pasta for lunch. Lunch special has it with fries. What is that about? odd that Lunch Special With Fries No salad is $8.99 While Lunch Parm With Pasta and salad Is $7.99. Salad was chopped and covered 1/2 of the plate. No attempt to hide the fact that there was really nothing there. Serving came out on a salad plate. That's how small it is. At best the chicken is 1/3 of a breast. I cut it into 4 bite size pieces. Asked what happened to the chicken with no response. They didn't honor posted discount. Last I will come here for lunch. May never be here for dinner after this experience.

WORST CHEESESTEAK EVER!!! Would give zero if I could. 30 min wait for 2 subs AND it cost $23 for 2 subs?! Sub was ALL bread barely any meat and that was dried out. Mayo came in the form of packets. Only reason I didnt take back was because my daughter had picked them up for us to eat while watching the football game and I did not eat anything all day so I was so hungry I didn't care at that point and just ate my sub. I regret now that i did, since my daughter did not get a receipt because she paid in cash? So we had no proof or food to return and get money back. Bottom line, i hope this place goes out of business and something better moves in.

Terrible. Bad service, we wait it more than 40 min to get our order and didn't came all together. The owner said when we pay that sorry but they have too many orders at the same time. No even a discount. 4 families left very angry at the same time for the same problem. There were just 4 tables in the restaurant. I didn't like the attitude of the owner handling the problem he was very disrespectful. Not coming back!!!

The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. The service was just perfect. Asked the right questions about my order to be sure it would be to my liking. The food... Yes the garlic knots are amazing but the lasagna was heavenly. Perfectly put together with sauce and cheese just right. The side salad was fresh, and I'm very picky about my salads. Waitress took some time to chat with me maybe because I was alone but either way she was delightful and kind. I will certainly return next week when my son arrives.

Not wild about it for sure. Expensive and greasy. I know I know it's pizza right. Supposed to be greasy. We got a Sicilian style and a calzone. They warned my wife how big the calzone is and it just wasn't that big. Pretty decent flavor but not that great. We spent 50 bucks. Not sure I would do it again.

Today was my second time coming here, and have to say...It's just OK. THe first time I had a Calzone, this time I had a meat lovers pizza and wings. The pizza crust is quite hard, and I would not recommend the wings at all. I do like the sauce on the pizza. It has a nice sweet flavor to it. I would not compare it to NY, but it is good for the area.

Entering this restaurant is much like stepping into a sidewalk cafe in Florence. Walls painted to resemble Italian domiciles and real lampposts serve to create the atmosphere of Italy. Coupled with fastidious service and scrumptious pizza, we were immersed in an exceptional dining experience for a modest price. We partook in Caesar salad, homemade minestrone soup, and a small Bianchi pizza. All dishes exceeded expectations and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Overall: Decent pizza with requests. We came in late on a Friday night and the servers were really friendly. Previously the service has been less than stellar. This time we ordered the Mediterranean pizza when usually ordered the Vegetarian pizza, which is fantastic. Even though the pizza is pricier than Pizza Hut and Domino's, the taste is so much better. Alas, like other yelper's have stated, the crust was too doughy. Next time we will definitely ask for our pizza to be cooked just a couple minutes longer. We loved the toppings on the Med pizza.

I just ordered my usual Philly cheese steak sub pizza by delivery only to find out the order was incorrect and they delivered a sub instead. After calling the store to let them know that I wanted a pizza I was told by the female sales person that they can deliver the pizza but I would have to pay additionally for it. I let her know I wanted the sub picked up and the pizza delivered and I would pay the difference if there was one. I was then placed on hold for a few minutes only to be told I would be charged additionally because that's what I ordered. I was told the order was confirmed and I apologized if it was confirmed but I wanted the same order I order monthly. I then asked if I was sitting in the restaurant and I wasn't satisfied with my order how would it be handled only to be hung up on. My husband attempted to return the sub in person to speak with the manager but a manager wasn't available to clear the situation up. sadly I won't be ordering my food there any longer in fact I ordered the same sub from Mulberry Street and was very satisfied.

Went here on 4th of July evening. It was tough finding a place that was open. Nice find if I don't say so myself. Bottled beers were 2 for 1 at $2.75 a pop. Not too shabby. A 2 for 1 at 8:00 pm, sweet! Got the kids a plain 12 inch cheese. Really good. I had their pizza in the past and really didn't care for it. I noticed that it was someone different making the pizza. They did a much better job. Wife and I had the "Don Tomasino" 14 inch. It is a Bianca with tomato, spinach, and breaded eggplant. Soooooo good! Definitely will be going back here when I am in the area. Check in will get you 5% off your tab.

Never EVER do this, but I am so displeased with Lil Anthony's Pizza, that I shared this last night on the Avalon FB page, and now want to share here too because of the unfortunate outcome today. From last night: I have to say I am really disappointed with Lil Anthony's Pizza. I love their food and is always our go to spot for pizza, but not anymore. While I write this I am STILL (8:25) waiting on one cheese pizza.. At 6:19 we ordered a pizza, and they said 45 minutes to an hour. SO at 7:29 we called and politely were like "Hey, so our pizza hasn't come, do you know an ETA?" The guy answered, said it's on the way, will be there in 5-10 minutes no more. Okay... so here comes 7:58.. still no pizza. Did they forget our pizza and make a new one to bring to us? What is going on? Call again, speak to the same guy who told me the apartments (Reserve at Alafaya) that have been here for a year, "were new" and not in the GPS of the driver and she was lost and did not call for 25 minutes to ash for help. Asked to speak with a manager (Javier) who could in no way issue a refund or help me and I would have to wait for the owners to come in, and he would need to be there to translate for me. They then said she was on the right path and would be here in 5 minutes. Now 15 minutes later, the phone rings (yay pizza!) and no, the driver "typed in the address wrong and is on Alafaya past 50 by UCF." IS THIS REAL LIFE? There wasn't one "I'm really sorry this is totally unacceptable, please let me fix this." I am really disappointed in how the situation was handled. Anyways, that being said, I love their food and understand this was a one time incident but there were so many chances to fix it. SO today, I go in to talk to the manager and the owners.. the following transpires: Just went up there.. Even more disgusted. The owner said I "was taking advantage of a mistake and I would have to fire her. I don't give refunds for any reason. I can offer a 10% discount off a future order for you and that's all." He then said if he gave me a refund that he wouldn't make a profit in which I replied, "well sometimes you have to take a loss to have happy returning customers." In which he kept insisting I was "taking advantage" of a mistake. The entire restaurant heard me, at I said I would be contacting BBB and spreading throughout the community. 100% unhappy and totally disgusted in their behavior and customer service. Anyways, absolutely won't go to Lil Anthony's anymore, and what a shame because I loved their food.

Typical american pizza restaurant ... Ordered out and ate in and so far each time I encounter some strange policies ... first time I ate in I was informed they stopped serving slices at 5pm ?? When I ordered out I got some garlic knots and apparently you have to order the sauce as extra ... first time I've ever been told this as I thought it was pretty much standard to get sauce with your garlic knots ... that being said they were good and not the crappy pre-made ones other pizzerias serve. Pizza each time was just ok ... nothing really special ... I'd rather just get Pizza hut ...

When Lil' Anthonys opened a location right next to our house, we were ecstatic. The food at the original location on Colonial Drive was excellent. Portions here were acceptably large for the price. The wait staff was always nice, and the interior decor and ambiance are pleasant. There is no specific area inside to sit and wait if you're waiting for take-out. You can sit at one of the tables in the middle, but I always felt bad taking up a table if they were busy. For the first 6 months or so, the food was on par with what we knew from the original location. I don't know what happened, but things began going downhill. Their usually perfect pizza and tomato sauces became bland (though adding some garlic available on the table was usually enough to compensate). Unfortunately, the downhill slide didn't end there. On repeated visits, pizza would come out undercooked - with soft gooey dough. One of our friends became physically ill a short while after eating it. We haven't been back since then. We had hoped that they were just having a bad spell, and things may have improved, but some friends recently moved into the area and tried them themselves with similarly disappointing results. Their booths can hold about 6, but are raised so you can't just pull up chairs if you have overflow. There are only a few tables in the middle to join together if you have a large group.

I was a bit nervous on giving Lil Anthony's a shot based on the mixed yelps but after a glowing review from a close friend, my wife, daughter and I stopped in for dinner on Friday to finish off what had become a pizza exploration week. The atmosphere inside is absolutely wonderful with a lot of dark tones giving the restaurant a comfortable and classy look. The staff was very friendly and all said hello to my little girl taking their turns trying to get her to wave and smile. We had our drinks on the table in no time and some garlic knots to prep us for dinner. The garlic knots were nothing spectacular and appeared to be just your usual rip and share vintage brand with a hefty dousing of garlic and butter. Moving on to the pizza, we got the pesto pie with tomatoes, garlic, pesto of course, a red sauce, and onion. It was great! The crust was lightly coated with a great olive oil that added a wonderful bit of flavor to an already good pie. It might have helped that the pies here are priced about $3 less than most of the comparable options in Avalon, but we were very happy to polish off all but 2 of the slices. Our daughter got a single slice of cheese pizza which was a little lack luster. I am thinking the by the slice option is not the way to go as it came out just shy of nuclear in temperature and was a bit dried out for our taste (yes, I am the designated cleanup crew in terms of her leftovers) which resulted in her wanting nothing to do with it and joining my wife and I for our pie. The only down side to the seating, as I found out, was that the center few tables are in direct line with the wonderful setting Florida sun and will make you a good candidate for blindness if you happen to be facing the wrong direction. If it is getting close to sundown, opt for a booth and get the hostess to pull the shades!

I was born and raised in brooklyn, ny... and one of the biggest things i miss the must on a daily basis is the Pizza. I have had to force feed pizza hut and papa johns for years. Since I have Lil Anthony's I must say it brings a little smile to my face when I call to order a pizza and guy with a NY accent picks up the phone. Their pizza good wish they would make it little crispy. there calzones are awesome and they sell Pizza by the slice!! Great lunch specials.. there wings are not good at all though... Stop in give them a try

For Avalon Park, its a very solid pizza option. I usually come in for a couple of slices and the garlic knots which are well above average. That being said, the few times I have come in for dinner both the chicken and eggplant Parmesan have been tasty. The environment itself is really comfortable and they have some televisions...that being said, if its a football day and your wife or girlfriend doesn't want to be dragged to the sports bar you have another option!

iWork at a weight loss clinic, so I know...iReally should not be thinking and craving pizza @ work.... but someone dropped off this establishment's flyer earlier in the day so my mouth was salivating at it by lunchtime.....so I suggested to my co-workers we should order pizza for lunch! ha3 So we ordered one of their specials: a large pizza with one topping, 10 wings, and a Liter of soda. We ordered the mushroom and pepperoni pizza, garlic wings, and Coke. I must say (after eating pizza in Chicago and NY)....Lil' Anthony's satisfied my recent NY pizza craving! The crust was delicious and the slices were huge! Also, the garlic wings were finger-licking good! And the doctor was impressed as well so I know we will be ordering from this spot again!

Well not being from New York I don't really know what real New York pizza is like, but if I were to have to guess I would say this is it! for 14 bucks for a large which will easy feed a family of 3 it's a great deal. The staff is friendly and the the service is fast!! Awesome pizza you must try this place!!

There calzones are good but there pizzas are ok and the crust lacks that crispiness of a real NY style pizza. I ordered several pizzas and they can't seem to get the toppings right but I still ate them. I did have to one time take a pizza back and prove to them that the toppings I ordered weren't on the pizza. I really prefer papa Gio's in Avalon but the owners are rude.

Lil Anthony's provides very tasty italian food for the Avalon Park community. They have delicious garlic knots, pizza by the slice, calzones, and typical italian dinners. The chicken parm is good and plentiful. The pizza is good, but not as crispy as I'd like. They have large comfy booths, which makes eating in enjoyable.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

They have the best pizza margarita in town, but sometimes they skimp on the fresh mozzarella. Still think it's the best pizza delivery in Avalon.

This place is awesome! The food was great, we had the Extravaganza Pizza. The prices were average but the staff was amazing. The service is stellar and I can't wait to go back and try a dessert!

Their pizza is meh and they annoying blanket neighborhoods with advertising. Focus on the food Lil' Anthony.. the food.
