This place was amazing. If you see it, GO. You won't be sorry! Their service is great. They're all very friendly. I got - Grilled chicken with BBQ sauce (you get 3 sides) - SOOO GOOD With brown rice - SO GOOD Quinoa - not very good Mashed potatoes - not the best we also tried the fresh out of the oven Little cheese breads. They're tiny, super cute, and warm. We got the chocolate petit gateau It's basically a molten lava cake w ice cream. This is. So. Delicious. Perfect combination of warm cake and ice cream We finished every last bite of this one

Nice clean quick service restaurant. Lots of Brazilian customers enjoying the venue so it was a great initial impression. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The manager could tell it was our first time so he made the effort to come out of the kitchen area over to us. He was so friendly and explained how their ordering worked and then shared all of the specials of the day with us. He suggested their special which is a traditional Brazilian dish and offered us a sample. It was delicious so I ordered it. I forgot the name but it was pork, sausage simmered with black beans served with rice and kale. My boyfriend ordered the burger with the works on it. Overall it was really good not greasy and super flavorful. We found the burger a bit overpriced especially since it didn't come with any side. Overall we liked our first visit and will be back.

I will not recommend the pão de queijo here. It's $1 for two little pieces and it's not good, it taste like old bread and was a little cold ( you can get way better pão de queijo across the street at the bakery called "pão gostoso"). The food now, is a complete different story. I had the picanha plate with rice, beans, farofa and chimichurri sauce, DELICIOUS!! The meat was perfectly cooked. I also ordered the quinoa salad. It was yummy! The have really good portions. I was starving so I guess overestimate my hunger. Couldn't finish half of my food

This place definitely hit the spot!!!! Customer service was great. I had the double cheeseburger with everything on it and the seasoned fries and the wifey had the picanha, farofa, black beans, quinoa and Brazilian vinegrette and for dessert we had the passion mango cheesecake. Everything I just mentioned was really good and was freshly made. I will definitely come back there to eat again and try the other dishes.

Giraffas is located in the Universal Studios part of Orlando in a small strip mall. The location has a unique interior with a large chain feel, which is odd because it is a small business. The food is fantastic. Hands down the best fries I have ever had, perhaps because they contained so much seasoning, but none the less the perfect shoestring fries. The hamburger was tasty but also very seasoned. The prices were fantastic, this is a lower priced option in the area but a high quality, high service place. This is a fun place to eat with quality food, quality service and a very clean location.

I don't understand the great rating that this place has! We visited today for the first time and got a burger (which comes with ham, bacon, and an egg on it) and a contra filet. The burger was decent (B-), but what wouldn't be with a fried egg on it! The black beans and rice were top notch. In contrast, the chimichurri sauce was average, the filet was blah (poor quality), and the mashed potatoes were more like porridge. The only reason that I gave two stars and not one was that the staff there were really exceptional.

The service is awesome! Everyone is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and decorated really cute. It's a very comfortable and relaxing environment. There is upbeat music playing in the background that keeps the mood very positive and fun. Now let's talk food. The food took less than 10 minutes to come out. Everything was cooked to perfection. Presentation was also very appealing. The flavors for everything were delicious. The chicken ribs were juicy and tender. The burgers were cooked just right. They are nice sized portions for the prices. It was overall an awesome experience and I will definitely be returning.

This place is AMAZING! I came here with my teammates on our trip to Orlando for a National Kickboxing tournament. I'm so used to AYCE Brazilian BBQ... This is not AYCE, it's more of a fast-food type establishment but don't let that deter you from checking out this place! It's extremely affordable and Giraffa's will satiate your Brazilian-American food cravings! First of all, the picanha entree is a must-have. The garlic fries are flavorful. If you're looking for a burger with a Brazilian twist, this is the place for you! The fried zucchini appetizer is a good starter :) Make sure you save room for dessert because their "Petit Gateu" (chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream) is amazing - it's like a warm lava cake that will literally melt in your mouth. I had to order all the flavors to compare :) My final consensus: they're all delicious! Service is friendly and extremely attentive. Parking is plentiful. Open late. Can't wait to go back here next year!

I would have liked the Giraffas leadership team to have focused on a bigger 'opening' announcement. It's almost like this Shake Shack and Firebirds trumped their welcome into Mills50. This and their extremely slow opening only led to a lackadaisical entry into the neighborhood scene. First impressions include an over abundance of employees. (Spilled out in boredom in the outdoor area...and in the dining room.) But the ones that did have a purpose were quite hospitable. This matched with a fantastic decor and brand presence - made for a great kick off to my experience. Their app currently allows for a $5 credit upon sign up, and this weekend payment with the app yielded half off. I also enjoy unlike popular apps from Starbucks it's not a rechargeable thing...it's a pay direct service. Food was fantastic and the service was continually strong. Think Pei Wei with Brazilian meats and played dinners. Simple and tasty...wrapped in a fantastic package. We will be back for beyond burgers. Welcome to Mills50 Giraffas!

I was blown away first by the quality of the customer service and again by the quality of the meal. Carol saw us and helped us immediately as we entered the restaurant and told us the way the ordering worked and what she recommended for us. Afterwards, she came by and chatted with us and asked us how the meal was, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was incredible as well - I ordered the Brutus burger which I loved. My girlfriend ordered the Picanha which was almost even better. Overall, I had a wonderful time and was blown away by the customer service and atmosphere of the restaurant. I will definitely be returning.

Really good quality, amazing taste, decent price. The food was so good, my wife and I ordered a third meal after we both finished our first. Yes we were hungry but we also wanted more because it was so good. My wifey is Brazilian so we have an affinity for this type of place! She said when we started eating: This might be my new favorite place."

Super friendly staff. The lady at the register was very helpful and patient. We weren't familiar with things on the menu and she took the time to explain it. Lots of options. We ended up getting a top sirloin and picanha. The only thing I wish was different was more seasoning on the meat. But other that that...all delicious and get a lot for the price.

While in town for a quick 2 Days at Universal we needed something close to the hotel and different than cruise food. Well this place fit those well. When we arrived there was nobody there. It was late so this is no surprise. We ordered up a variety of menu items. Frango Parmegiana, Chicken Ribs, Picanha Burger, Picanha Steak. I liked them all. The service seemed to be a little scattered but that was probably because of the unexpected influx of people at the time we came in. Atmosphere more resembles a nicely appointed yogurt shop or a nice mall restaurant than a steak and burger place. But it was clean and modern looking. TV's on the wall had a scrolling twitter feed, making me wonder who picks who to follow. Don't really care about JWow or Snookie's twitter feeds. But it was a cool feature that could really add the the experience. The prices might be a touch steep, but the quality is there when it comes to the menu items we got. Beware the Farofa it's really dry and two of us ordered it as a side and it wasn't eaten. My thought is it's intended to be eaten in a specific way and we didn't know just what to eat it with. Other than that the quantity of food was good. I especially liked the ribs. Very addictive flavor. Giraffas seems to be some sort of chain in the Florida area. So if you are from this area my review pretty much is useless. But if you are trying to find a place to eat and are from out of the state, Giraffas is a fine place to get a meal.

I'm giving Giraffas five stars. Party of 6 with one child. Food ordered included burgers ribs and salmon. My review is for the food I ate and my personal opinion of the whole experience. It's a really nice place, not a very large dining area with large clean single occupant restrooms. I ate half a Brutus burger and half a bacon cheeseburger with srirachca. Seasoned fries on the side. Essentially you pay a bit more and get better quality Than a typical cheap fast food burger joint. There was a loud kid at one point sitting near us but its up to parents to control their kids. Great place to try if you find anything interesting on their menu.

Better than average burgers and quality service. Business model seems a little confused -- as it doesn't seem certain whether it's fast food or sit down.

What I look for in an eatery is cleanliness, friendly service and affordable prices. Fortunately, this establishment satisfied all those requirements. :) It reminded me of Chipotle's, in that the food has a clean, fresh taste. So if you are a fan of that place like myself, then you may very well enjoy the food at Giraffas. I noted that the menu stated that they serve hormone-free chicken, which is a plus. And the prices were decent, very affordable, ended up spending under $20.00 for three of us diners.

I have tasted the food of the heavens and it is divine! I don't know who in their right mind thought to grind up a steak and cook it as a burger but somebody please give that man a medal because he is a culinary genius! I wasn't hungry when I first ordered but after that first bite MMM!... I could not stop eating. Truly one of the most delicious burgers I have ever had the pleasure of eating. That little mound of chocolate deliciousness they call a petit gâteau was great too. And with their dulce de leche ice cream and chocolate drizzle I felt like one of those people on 24hoursofhappy.com . Not only was their food top notch, but the nice modern atmosphere and customer service was outstanding. This really is a great spot!

Wow! Am I glad we decided to try this place after Easter mass rather than some overpriced mediocre buffet! The setup is more like a Noodles where you grab a menu and order at the counter. SUPER friendly and very helpful young man in charge today helped us and gave us some recommendations! We each had steak with rice, beans, fries or farofa (good diversion from fries and healthier and tastier; it has olives in it). The steak was very good and we were full afterwards but still ordered dessert. Tried the caramel/dulce de leche cheesecake...awesome!! Oh yeah, we each started with pao de queijo..YUM! If you are looking for a fastish, clean, quality healthy meal at a reasonable price then you should give this place a try. Many Americans are not familiar with Brazilian style food but you should try this. When we return to Orlando, this is a place that we'd definitely return to.

@ Giraffas of International Drive, Orlando. I just posted a photo of the fat on the 5 oz. Maminha Steak, yes this is 3 oz. of fat out of a 5 oz. steak, the price: $ 9.90. When I showed to the manager (Jordan P) he didn't said a word, not even an apology.

Pleasant interior and sound food. I had the tilapia grill, which was a generous serving. The sides are fairly small, but there are three of them. The burgers look like a good bet. Service is friendly but it's not exactly fast food.

Had the Brutus burger with fries. Extremely impressed with this place. The burger came out quickly, and was cooked perfectly. The fries were also excellent. The food quality matches the price, but this place being order-and-sit-down style doesn't fit. To charge these prices, they may need to make this a full service restaurant.

Personally, my 5 oz Picahna steak was pretty bad. I know the cut of meat well, I LOVE it usually, the ring of fat is normally buttery deliciousness. This one was 40% fat ring 60% meat. So I think I had about 2.5 oz of actual edible food. I also got the side of grilled veggies. They just tasted so weird I can even describe it. It was just "off". I'm also not a fan of the chicken ribs. The saving grace for them is my buddy ordered the burger made with the same meat as mine, and he LOVED it. It did look really good, and I bet a 5 oz Picahna steak ground up would be delicious because it isn't a ring of mega fat to chew through. The style is cool, I will give their burgers a shot, but I was hoping to be WOWED the first round.

Absolutely terrific food! The atmosphere is great, the customer service is great, the prices are perfect. The only reason why it doesn't get 5 Stars is because it bills itself as a "Quick Casual" restaurant, but the time it takes to make the food, prolongs the dining experience, which is great if you want to spend a leisurely meal eating the terrific food, however for a business lunch or a quick dinner, you just can't risk it because of the the length of time it takes to get your food. I will be back, but only when I have time to spare.

Great service and great food at a really good price. The Brazilian cuts of meat in burger or plated form taste really good. Sauce selections are also unique. Fries are also really good and the "flavorful" option is a nice upgrade. Overall for what it is and what anyone would expect the place to be, it delivers in all the categories. The service sealed the deal in making our visit a 5 star.

My my my! Lemme tell you a few things about this place. First off, you walk in and it's beautiful! Very cool, chic design. You can tell the designers spent their time here wisely and made some good, interesting and provocative decisions. From the bright colors, colored glass, and comfy chairs to the wood beams suspended in mid air above, this place has everything. It's visually stunning. But enough about the looks, let's get down to the nitty gritty, THE FOOD! The food there was absolutely DELICIOUS. I had the 10 oz Contra Filet with rice, beans, and mashed potatoes. The meat was tasty and juicy and the chimi churri sauce added the perfect finishing touches to such a good filet. It was a very hearty meal and for a VERY good price! Anywhere else you might pay around $32 for this steak! This bad boy cost LESS than HALF that amount! The portions are just right - not too much, not too little. They also had some great Brazillian Guava cheesecake options for dessert. My wife had that and she really enjoyed it. I took a lil bite from her's and indeed it was everything a cheesecake should be. Very good. I, however, decided to be boring and have some vanilla ice cream, but that was awesome too. And they topped it off with chocolate syrup (they have other syrup options too such as raspberry). So even with dessert this place knows how to stay on top of things. The service at Giraffas was also very good. The staff members were polite and patient with us. They were also helpful and attentive. I have NO complaints about this place and have no doubt that I'll be back soon! The burgers look delicious so I think I'l try one next time. No worries either way because I know I'll keep coming back to this gem.

As far as a fast food joint goes, you really couldn't ask for more. It's a Brazilian style fast food place and they offer lots of traditional fare so I was told by the manager. My wife and I ordered the 9 oz. Picanha steaks. It came with three sides and a signature sauce for the steak all for $13.50. She chose a small salad with passion-fruit dressing, yellow rice, and black beans and the maitre-d butter as the sauce. I chose the arugula salad with the passion-fruit dressing, flavorFULL fries, and the grilled vegetables and the chimichurri sauce. My kid had a burger with a side of flavorFULL fries for $5.90. It came with a side of chipotle sauce. For dessert, my wife and I each ordered the Petit Gateau for $4.70. Basically, it was a melting cake. Mine had chocolate inside and hers had peanut butter. Needless to say, we were quite full when we left. The food was dee-licious and the service was quick and polite.

Wow!! What a place. Big props to @TastyChomps for posting info about Giraffas. The opening day was yesterday in Orlando on International Drive. The Giraffas team is there to greet you as soon as you walk in. Lots of friendly faces. The place is beautiful. The colors and the decor look amazing. The place is immaculate. I love coming to a place that has just opened their doors to customers. Excitement is in the air. Pao De Queijo. I checked in using Yelp and I got this appetizer for free. Thanks @yelp. Great way to start my meal. One of the team members suggested I try the chicken burger. I am a steak sort of person, so I had both the chicken and the steak. Now, lets talk FOOD!! Brutus. 5oz burger, cheese, egg, bacon, ham, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. AMAZING! Every single bite was fantastic. It is layered in a certain way where you taste every ingredient and topping in and on the burger. Special Sauce. I was told they couldn't tell me what it was. If they told me they would have to kill me. The staff had a great sense of humor. Loved it!! It went great with the burgers and the fries. Galo De Briga. Chicken filet on a bun, cheese, egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. DELICIOUS! the chicken was a nice touch to this burger. I tend not to order the chicken, so I am glad it was suggested from the Giraffas team. Petit Gâteau. Warm, chocolate flavor filled cake with a choice of coconut ice cream. This was another suggestion from the Giraffas team. I never do ice cream in any place, but with this ice cream you could taste the pieces of coconut inside the ice cream. EXCELLENT!! Giraffas team, thank you so much for a job "well-done". Keep up the smiling faces and welcoming customers at the door with excitement

Outstanding economical typical Brazilian fare served - Yes, Giraffas does have waiters! - in an inviting, colorful, comfortable setting! There is something for everyone - meatlovers and veggielovers, prepared healthfully and authentically by Chef Frank. It was a great Sunday evening destination, we left more than satisfied with our delish choices, experiencing Brazilian cuisine at very reasonable prices. Disappointed the moqueca (fish stew) had run out, and that there was no guarana softdrink. We will return! Parabens, Giraffas Orlando! 'Ces estao muito bemvindos entre nos!! Muito sucesso mesmo!

On my last day in universal I was looking for a place to grab dinner before heading home. Having had only 8 hours of sleep In 2 days I wanted a healthy and satisfying meal but quick. Not wanting to settle for fast food We found ourselves at Giraffas. I liked the set up of ordering the food as soon as you walk in. Your food is then brought to your table. The time it took for the food to come was about the same time I sit in a drive thru at McDonald. This was a sure plus when your with hungry kids. We ordered Gira sautéed filet tips and the Gira burger from the kids menu. Both were excellent. The kids loved it. For my husband and I we ordered the 10oz Picanha steak and the Chicken filet tips Stroganoff. Both were very good. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice set up of tables. I really enjoyed the food and felt satisfied for my long drive home.

Great food! Fresh and tasty. Flap steak is great, comes with a nice salad! Great alternative to fast food! See you next time!

I recommend this place ! Great service and fresh food , meat right off the grill!! First time trying Brazilian food .

I want to know when they're gonna open up a giraffas in CT! I will never forget the meal I had there!

Caisey was amazing! She helped us so much. One with a gift certificate we had and two helping us pick what food to choose since it was our first visit. The food is exceptional. I highly recommend the Giraffao with the flavorfull fries and picanha steak with the black beans and salpicao.
