Love the burgers and fries. I look for them wherever I travel for a burger fix. But this location needs to clean up its act...dirty floors and sticky tables. Came tonight for our burger "treat" but if I didn't already know the product I would have walked out.

This particular Five Guys location has the friendliest service, and the food is great and always consistent. This is a reliable place to enjoy a burger in the fast food/counter service category.

I live about 20 mins from this location, and yes, I do have a 5 guys near me, but THIS location is worth the drive! EVERY SINGLE TIME I order for me and my family, I get Best service, the Best food! Shout out to the cook PAT, AMAZING!!! The whole crew that worked November 29th made our visit great!! Thank you!! Eric, did a awesome job dealing with our picky burger order! I love this place! Amazing! Amazing, amazing!!!

I really like Five Guys. There burgers are really good and I'm a sucker for free peanuts. This isn't my favorite location because the patio faces Orange Ave and this makes it less relaxing to sit outside. The restaurant also tends to take a fairly long time, but I think that's all Five Guys locations. However, they make everything fresh so it's understandable. The burgers themselves were very good. Hot and fresh and tasty. However, the french fries were not hot. They also tasted a bit like old grease. Not super great, but tolerable. The employees were all polite (nothing outstanding) and the interior was clean. The location is actually pretty convenient and fairly close to downtown. Overall, I would recommend and will return.

I decided to stop by Five Guys today to have lunch and overrall it was just ok. I really don't understand all the hype with this chain. I decided on the Bacon Cheese Dog with grilled onions and ketchup. The dog itself had good flavor but I thought my meal was very pricey for what I received. I paid $12.64 for one hot dog, regular fries and a drink. I'm not a fan of their fries, they were very greasy and soggy. I also feel they give you more than you need by throwing additional fries in the bag. The highlight of my visit were the free peanuts which is sad considering I could've bought those at any convenience store. I don't see myself coming back here anytime soon. For almost $13.00 I can eat better quality food elsewhere. This Five Guys is located on Orange almost at the corner of Michigan.

This Five Guys is typically fast and always good. The people are friendly and place clean, not sure you can ask for much more. Stick with a Little Burger if you like an average size burger. Regular fries are enough for 2 people so keep that I mind when ordering. This is not the best place if you're worried about calories either ; )

Yah I'm a fan! Rob W is right "it's a chain and they got everything right" The regular size fries will feed a family of four And go with the little burger its filling..Even my better half only eats the little burger and fries and is stuffed afterwards. Everything is cooked fresh to order...that's awesome since you know the fries won't be sitting around!

Love their fries because its filling! Little sized burgers are the same size as Regular sized! Fries Galore! In n Out beats 5Guys IMO.

Visiting from out of town, the staff who was working on 11-1-2014 at 8pm was one of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a 5GUYS. Specifically the woman working who I assume was the manager. She was working the grill and was always smiling at the guests asking how they were doing. We ate in, and during our stay the manager had to deal with a difficult customer over the phone. She was polite and professional the whole time and held herself with great integrity. Even when the person arrived to pick up his order, she was still very polite, apologetic, and offered the man a free, large drink for waiting. Her friendly and upbeat personality is contagious and I found myself having a happier night.

The absence of Five Guys in SF is something I have been lamenting for some time now.... Lucky for me a recent trip to Florida had me staying near one and a long cross country flight had me hungry. Not one to do the double patty mess, the single bacon cheeseburger was juicy, tender and delicious. The long cut, slightly wobbly Cajun spiced fries left me looking for my drink and some of those free peanuts to cool my mouth off.

My wife and I usually hit this one up around an hour before closing. Which means we have the whole place to ourselves. The burgers are awesome and the fries we love. We rather hit this then other fast food burger joints.

Ok, so I am partial to In & Out, but I'm not a purist by any means, so I thought, why not? The burger here is not for the faint of heart. I mean, In & Out has nothing on this place when it comes to "animal style". Everything here has so much stuff on it. The burger comes with pickles, grilled onions, mushrooms, and tons of sauce, plus TWO patties. The fries come with a paper bag and lots of seasoning (shake shake shake). The only thing they are missing here is milkshakes. Although I am not sure you could survive a milkshake done the Five Guys way. And did I mention you can have "all the peanuts you want" while you wait? My teeny tiny In & Out California mind is officially blown.

Giving this place anything less than a four of five is blasphemy. Food, awesome. Service, great. Enough said.

I do not get out to Five Guys Burgers and Fries as often as I like. This location is nearest to me, and I was able to get here while running errands during the afternoon. Five Guys Burgers And Fries is exactly that. Burgers and fries. No chicken or fish sandwiches, no nuggets, no salads. Just burgers and fries. And they do a good job of it. Five Guys cooks their hamburger patties to well done, and they have many toppings to choose from. I usually go with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Burgers are cooked when ordered. So while you are waiting for your order to come up, you can snack on some roasted peanuts while you wait. I ordered a cheeseburger and a medium order of fries, and then took a seat at a table to wait for my order. My order was to go. So when my order was ready, I took my meal and left for the park nearby. The burger was cooked well and still hot. And delicious as well. And the medium order of fries was not only hot, but plentiful. I was full by the time I finished my meal. Five Guys is pricey, but worth it. And as I think about it, Five Guys is really not much more than other places. Another hamburger chain I recently visited cost almost as much, although I did get a drink and a ice cream cup with that meal. And though I took my meal to go, the dining area is always clean and neat. As well as the bathrooms. Even the appearance outside is kept up. And there are tables outside under a covered patio. A good place to go in the Wadeview Neighborhood if you are looking for a good burger.

What an awesome time I had here today! Was having my car worked on nearby and decided on Five Guys for lunch. I arrived before they opened and the doors were locked and i was okay sitting outside playing on the phone. Suddenly the door opened up and the manager was inviting me in early. That alone was awesome to be in the AC. It didn't end there, despite they were still getting ready to open the business they offered to go ahead and take my order which they then made right away. It was really awesome of them to do all this and I had my lunch before the place officially opened and anyone else arrived. The food was hot and tasty. Great food, fantastic service, love this place.

Amazing burgers. Granted it's not the gourmet burger joint but if you want a burger that drips with juices and tastes great then come to five guys!!!! Simple, good tasting burgers. Fries are amazing too and plentiful. Trust me if two people are going then split fries it's way more than you need.

Not much more to say than it is an edible sin. Incredible burgers, low price and the seasoned fries are great alone or with malt vinegar. They always have plenty of shelled peanuts to munch on in case you have to wait in a long line ( which rarely happens). favorite fast food burger, hands down.

I'm not one to rate fast food - it just doesn't seem necessary as every experience will probably be the same. But I feel Five Guys deserves a rating. Five Guys is probably at the top of our list when my girlfriend and I decide to grab burgers for a meal, which isn't too often as she - luckily for me and my survival - loves to cook. When you walk in, you just feel greasy. But that's the fun of it. I'm torn between what to order - either their heart attack inducing Bacon Wrapped Dogs (I usually order two) or their Bacon Cheeseburger. Their burgers and dogs are just made with perfection, and I always leave full and satisfied. Money well spent. Aside from that, the only negative comment I have to say is that this particular location could probably work on keeping the inside seating area cleaner. It's not a filthy like the neighboring fast food chains, but with as many people coming and going, along with the thousands of peanuts that get eaten, someone should be out on the floor sweeping and cleaning tables more often. But it doesn't deter me from getting my hands on some great food :)

In general, I'm a fan of Five Guys. The burgers have the right amount of grease and the fries are excellent. I love that you can munch on some peanuts while you wait for your food. Food is cooked to order so it's fresh. This location feels just like the rest, but is conveniently located in SoDo. Employees were slightly less friendly than other locations I've been to AND they messed up my order. For that, three stars instead of four.

This has got to be one of the biggest fads in food yet. Its a cool concept until you really look at it for what it is. I paid 13$ for what the end product is a greasy buger and more fries then I could ever eat by myself and a drink. The bugers were good and greasy (a result of high fat to meat ration in the ground chuck) but not worth the premium they charge. The fresh cut fries are a great idea but calm down on the amount and lower the price in return. And one last issue... For crying out loud offer some kind of combo, buying a-la-cart is just not going to work for me, its a burger joint not a steakhouse.

I have heard about the greatness of Five Guys and I can officially say that after my first visit I'm definitely a fan! Loved the grilled onions and other toppings and yes, the fries are amazing! Everyone says they're too much for one person, but I was just fine.... haha. Go big or go home, right? Well, you will go home big(ger), but it's not something you do everyday, so it's ok!

Great burger but terrible service. I asked the girl taking my order about the burgers and her response was an unbelievable "I don't know, I only work here." Then turned and walked away. Wow.

The first time I heard about Five Guys was from my best friend's boyfriend. At the time, they had just started sprouting up around Florida and he used to be obsessed with finding one for us to stop at so he could get a burger (ok, let's be honest a FEW burgers) there. Being someone who doesn't usually eat a ton of red meat, I was unsure about this greasy, fast-food-esque place called Five Guys. Essentially, I put off going to Five Guys for a while until finally my boyfriend talked me into it. And when I had my first bite of that Five Guys cheeseburger-y goodness, I suddenly understood what all of the hype was about. Yes, at the end of the day Five Guys really just sells greasy burgers and grimy fries doused in peanut oil. BUT, at the end of the day they are so delicious and addictive that no matter what your mind is telling you (ex: what the hell are you eating? this is obviously bad for you!) you will continue to eat there regardless. This is the second Orlando location I have been to and it is quite a large location. Very open, plenty of tables. With its location right off of Church St downtown, it's the perfect place to hit up after a long night of partying.

No, stay out of these restaurants, I mean all of them! they have no concept of value. they will charge you $15.00 for a burger and fries. Yeah they were good, but I can get just as good a burger in the $8.00 prices range. After all they are only burgers and fries. You can even do an all you can eat place for $8.00 per person. Five Guys is over rated. I will not go back

There used to be a burger joint of this caliber in this exact spot 30 years ago, Burger Chef. I have to say these burgers are no joke. If you are looking for a healthy, nuts and twigs "keep my digestion regular" burger this in not the place. If you want a gut bomb that has juice dripping down your arm as you eat..this is the place. The burgers are somewhat expensive compared to McPicklePoopers next door. All in all, burgers, fries and a drink about $11 bucks. I did get everything on it and a big one, so I like to eat big and I eat enough fiber in my regular diet..so what? You can get almost everything under the sun on the burger, from jalapenos to sauteed mushrooms and guac and bbq sauce. The cup o' fries you get is more than enough to share, and being a big eater..I never leave hungry. Actually, sometimes I am a little overstuffed. It has indoor seating, outside too at this location. You always wait a bit for the burger since they make it fresh, well worth the wait in my opinion. And you can see them make it if you are paranoid. A great place to start a weekend night and follow up the next day at. 100% nap inducing burger mojo no additional charge.

Yes it's a chain, but they got everything right.. The burgers are fresh and tasty, and they have just about everything you could want as a side to put on them. I like the small burger, and the name is a misnomer, it's plenty big. It takes a few minutes to get your order, so they give you roasted peanuts to munch on. The company also gets involved in the community, they recently hosted and sponsered an event for my daughters team.

I hate to be the dissenter here but I wouldn't trust anyone who has a palette to appreciate Steak and Shake food and MickeyD's. :P As a fast food snob, I have to say: Five Guys is definitely a greasy hot mess but it's executed beautifully, efficiently and cheaply! My boyfriend really enjoys the bacon wrapped hot dogs which is a pure soggy mess of heart attack goodness and I always order the Cheddar bacon burger. I really love their selection of extras (mayo, mustard, lettuce, grilled onions, raw onions, pickles etc) and the burgers are just so wonderfully greasy and delicious! There's boxes and boxes of peanuts around the place which I love to munch on while waiting for my order. I will say that I was mildly disappointed with the fries which weren't as crunchy as they usually are. They're fried in peanut oil and their flavor pretty much sets them apart from the Arby's and McDonald's that they're sandwiched between on the road. Five Guys is in such a great location - right off of Orange where there are dozens of food joints to try out!

This place is dirty. Seems like the staff doesn't care about the cleanliness. Burgers are fries are still good here.

I went with my brother during Hard Rock's 40th celebration. He had a cheese burger, I had just fries and peanuts. They do have a veggie sandwich, but I did not get it. The fries were really good, peanuts are free and good as well. His burger was really good and hearty. He enjoyed it. We both had a good time!

It's a decent burger. It's not great, but it's not McDonald's. A little steep on price. I think that Backyard Burgers and the Taproom at Dubsread have better burgers --- depending on if you want fast food or a dine in atmosphere. I tried the fries and chose Cajun style. They give you enough fries to fill a whole plate up --- in and of itself. Service was good, the burger was made quite quick and the cashier was the friendliest I have seen in any fast food environment.
