Never been here to eat - but the drinking and dancing is great ;)

Finns is the best happy hour spot. Great for the magic and great for nights out
(5)Jordan O.
Went here for lunch the other day, had no idea they served food. Turns out is basically the same menu as Van Berry's without fries (they don't have a fryer). I got a buffalo chicken salad and had them switch out the breaded chicken for grilled chicken and had them add black beans. It was delicious, the salad was HUGE lots of lettuce, good amount of cheese, some cucumbers, an egg, etc. The chicken breast was on the smaller side, but was very tasty and I still ended up leaving half the salad. The best part $8 on the nose (they do the same thing as Van Berry's and have the menu even out to the dollar after taxes. Would have expected a salad like that to run $10-$12 especially downtown. Very enjoyable experience, and the food was out quickly and the service was fast as well, super important for a quick lunch.

Women are not safe at this establishment. My girlfriend was pushed into the one bathroom by a "regular" basically attacking her and her friend. I took action as well as two other men. We were all kicked out while the bouncer let the "Regular" back in to potentially assault other women. Be aware, the bouncer with the long red beard and Finhenrys support violence against women.

This is the perfect place to start your "turn up" night. The drinks are cheap and HUGE! If you forget to pregame home go to "Fins" (as the locals call it) and it is sure to get you right for your next pit stop.
(5)Brian W.
Fun lunch downtown. Great selection of sandwiches and salads. Get there early as the later it gets the busier it tends to be. Drink specials are good too. In the historic Angebilt the lobby is over 91 years old. See some of the cool olde photos!

I've had a cuban and a couple of salads from here and it's been pretty solid. Service can be hit or miss and the inside can get insanely cold. They have hightops mostly. I've only been here for lunch, so can't really say how great the bar is.

Stopped by for lunch during a break from Jury Duty. Sat at the bar and had the Tortilla Soup, which was nothing to write home about, but had a Bacon Bleu Salad which was excellent! The bartender was awesome, she was friendly and fast without being overbearing. The total price of my bill was fine, about the same as my Jury Duty pay- $15 bucks! Overall a nice vibe and a good experience, I would love to come back and have a few beers and try some other dishes.

So many fly hunnies work behind the bar, that you'll be all like, woop woop, even if you are a chick. The drinks are full of booze--everything from Alize to Vodka . It's high class, so if you are not rolling, bypass. The famous attorney John Morgan can be spotted there from time to time. This is a wealthy man, a man who could probably afford to watch the sunrise off the shore of Thailand, and he comes round. It can get a little echoey in there but so what? This is my review.

As for lunch - Very good sandwiches and potato salad. Not a huge fan of the lemon flavor on the potato chips, but I still end up eating them. The staff is always attentive and nice. The volume is at a level you can have a conversation
(5)Regina G.
This place is tired and so is the clientele. I haven't disliked an establishment as much as this in so long. You can't even get your foot in the door. Tired music. Tired people. Tired drinks. Tired atmosphere. Please keep this away from me. Avoiding this at all costs.
(1)Michael M.
Favorite place downtown! The atmosphere is very chill and I'm obsessed with the "dirty Finns"
(5)Bruce B.
Great place, great food, end of story!!! Service was friendly, music was right level. Will be back!
(5)James F.
Awesome place, exactly what is expected. Dirty finn is a must! Staff is good and doesn't leave you hanging when your looking for a drink
(5)Kristen P.
I just went for Happy Hour. They had free food! It wasn't the best food but good enough for free. The drinks were so reasonable too. I want to go back for a meal sometime.
(4)Raul J.
Not a local but had a great time!!!! Best bartender there is Melissa ! Literally left and came back after dirty Finn shots!!! A must visit in Orlando!!
(5)Lily L.
Overly crowded & hot on Friday night with no place to sit or stand. The place is small. And if you dont smoke you wont stay in there too long. Very smokey with no air circulating. They played throwback music and the game on the TVs which I liked. But I did not like that the mixed drinks came in a huge glass. Weak.

I have been to Finnhenrys quite a few times. It is usually the "go to" place for me and my co-workers when we want to get a drink and listen to music after work. Two Saturday's ago I went there at around 10 pm with a big group of people I work with (about 16 of us). The occasion was to hang out after dinner as a farewell event for our co-worker. I had just entered Finnhenrys, hadn't even bought my first drink. Another lady we work with was calling me to see where we all were to meet up but I couldn't hear her on the phone because of the music and there was a lot of people. I walked toward the restroom area cause it seemed more quiet and less crowded to try to hear her. As I'm covering one ear trying to hear her I notice a security red head man with a beard that works at Finnhenrys, which was in charge of keeping an eye on the restroom area say something to me but I couldn't make out what he said cause of the loud noises, then I assumed he was telling me to move, so I said "sorry I'm just trying to hear my friend on the phone very quickly" he then proceeded to grab my arm hard, yank me away from the restroom area and tell me I couldn't stand there. I said "okay sorry I couldn't hear what you said the first time, and I will move without a problem, but there's not need for you to touch me, please let go of me". Immediately after I said this, he kept a hold of my arm, not a soft hold, the man was strong and huge probably over 6feet tall, well, he pulled me all the way to the exit and basically kicked me out of the place. I am writing this review because I truly think this was out of line. I might understand being kicked out and TOUCHED by a man if I was acting up, being hostile, or belligerent, but I wasn't, at all, and I was 100% sober. I was simply trying to hear my friend on the phone and the situation didn't merit being touched by a man #1 and #2 being kicked out of the establishment. After this unnecessary incident my other group of co workers left Finnhenrys as well, so the bar lost business from a big group. After being kicked out I asked to speak to a manager. The manager, a young lady, walked out and asked me what happened. I explained the situation to her and she told me that the security guy did that because the restroom doors could've hit me, I completely understood this but he didn't have to put his hands on me. She then told me she understood and then just told me to enjoy the rest of my night.

Finnhenry's - Downtown Orlando Visited Finnhenry's in downtown Orlando on Sunday, October 5th, 2014 for an alumni event. The place is a loud bar where patrons can smoke and bring their dogs. Super loud TVs and people. Super hard to hear each other!! Positive: Good selection of beers, food was ok. Great location Negatives: super loud, no private room, smoking allowed, pets allowed!! Would I go back?? Nope!!! I love my hearing too much
(1)Candice M.
Good drink specials, but they allow smoking on the inside with about zero ventilation. Not my thing.
(3)Katy S.
I had quite a night at Finnhenry's. Came in for a girl's weekend to shake our booties and drink cocktails. Mission accomplished. The music was super fun and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely come back to Finnhenry's if I was looking to cut loose in a fun bar atmosphere!
(3)jt m.
whenever i'm back in Orlando, i stop in to say hello to the lovely Marina, who keeps it classy behind the bar. lots of seating, good music. go there, but don't bother them with drinks that have more ingredients than the periodic table has elements, ok? that's annoying.
(5)Abigail N.
Do you like Jameson as much as I do??? Well then I have two words for you: Dirty Finn. Greatest shot ever. That is all.
(5)kelley s.
I love the openess, the big bar and the tiled floors :) fun times are always had, great DJ and the Tenders pour you a very nice drink. GO!!!
(3)Michael W.
Like the atmosphere and the crowd here. Good vibes! The bartenders are great here and the drinks are well priced.
(4)Adam P.
It's amazing on the weekends. Free to get in and DJ does one hell of a job. Bartenders are great and get to you rather quickly. Great sports bar on the weekdays, better tiny club on the weekends. Car bombs all the way.
(5)Matt J.
Finns is a great place for a casual drink to meet up with friends. The staff is friendly and quick, the drinks aren't overpriced and it's a great local hangout. The only downside is that it can be bit overwhelmingly loud at night. I thinks its just because of the room's layout. All in all it's a great place for lunch and drinks.
(4)K. J.
This pub is not your average, run of the mill, river dancing, Irish pub. With more current top 40 than classical white cliffs of Dover music, this pub brings in a lot of people Fridays and Saturdays, but doesn't get crowded enough to bother the crap out of you. The bar tenders serve quick and pour heeeaavy. Trust me, if it's date night, let off some steam night, or lets just get crazy night, Finnhenry's is the place to throw away your money. Just bring your drinking shoes because I wasn't kidding when I said they pour HHEEAVY!. Have fun, drink responsibly.
(4)Jeanine O.
Really beautifully redone decor. High energy atmosphere that is geared toward a younger crowd. Fast bar service and friendly staff make for a great night out in Orlando's downtown party district. Excellent location, walking distance from lots of other restaurants, bars and clubs.
(4)April K.
SUPER close to my work. Always nice and cool in there in the summer. They allow smoking so not a fan, just be prepared to wash EVERYTHING you wear the nigh/day that you go because it will for sure smell like smoke. Friendly staff and not crazy expensive drinks. I love the photo hunt games. Oh and the bathroom is pretty clean, so extra points for that!

This self-proclaimed "New Public House" is a great new lunch spot on Orange Avenue and I can now say I'm excited at their arrival. Because they are in close proximity with the Wall Street restaurants, it's hard not to make a comparison with them. So in my opinion, Finn Henry's has surpassed the lunch menus of Cantina and Waitiki. Although both of those spots are great, Finn Henry's offers a great menu, awesome service, and good atmosphere. Specifically, their menu rocks. They focus on pleasing the public with basic choices yet they do so in a fabulous, fresh and tasty way. Soups, salads, wraps, paninis and daily specials will have you scratching your head since they all sound so yummy. I can tell you that the Buffalo Chicken Wheat Wrap is phenomenal. First, the chicken is baked and not fried. Second, it is stuffed with romaine lettuce, real bleu cheese crumbles, and cheddar cheese. And lastly, it's wrapped in a soft whole wheat tortilla that is amazing on its own. The salt and pepper crinkle chips that came alongside were unreal too! They looked homemade and tasted so as well. Crisp and light with just the right amount of crunch. Very addicting! This particular lunch only cost $7.50 and was truly worth every cent. I would most certainly go back if not for the food, but for a cocktail and the experience of being there. The bar is the focal point of the restaurant and encompasses the entire center area. Surrounding the square bar are high top tables; some in the shape of barrels with Guinness Beer advertisements on top. The ceiling is dark and features exposed pipes yet it's still an overall classy place. Oasis was playing in the background, and flat screen TVs were scattered around the entire restaurant. Thus, if you happened to stop by on your own, I believe you would still have a very enjoyable time.

The Dirty Finn. Thats the only drink you need........ The bartender is awesome and cool. buy them one and they'll buy you two.
(5)Lucy L.
I quiet liked this place. It's not a fancy decor or tasty beer. it's the atmosphere i experienced when I step into this place. Fresh drinks, reasonable price + good crowd = good times. Outdoor seating too
(4)Helen R.
I like the vibe of this place and even though it was relatively packed, there was still enough room to move about. Its nice that the bar is centrally placed with plenty of room on both sides. Here is what I didn't like: - Unisex bathrooms - gross. I do not like to have to put the seat down in a public restroom. Even with a paper towel in hand, still yuck. Also, boys bathrooms tend to smell like pee. I understand this, since I'm sure aim ability diminishes as drinking increases. Here is what I was torn about: - The music - selection was great. But, I like to hear the whole song, not snippets. Also, a DJ, in an Irish pub? Does that seem strange to anyone else? Overall, I would go back to this Irish pub/club. But, I'll just walk to Subway if I have to use the restroom.

This place for me always seems to be the pass through spot. While walking from one place to another we always seem to stop by do a shot, hang for a minute and leave. That's not a bad thing, it's just how we roll. I know they won't last forever but the pumpkin bombs are to die for. No matter what time we stop in, there are always a ton of people. I've been mid-afternoon, early night, and late-night and we always leave with a smile on our face and a shot in our bellies. Now one downfall is the bathroom situation. I believe there is only one bathroom with one toilet, and I may be mistaken on this but I believe it's unisex. Bit odd, but it gets the job done. One cool thing about the bathroom is there is a giant chalk board and chalk, so feel free to let your artistic abilities flow while letting go of all your drinks for the night. Maybe the chalk board is why the line is always soooo long. Oh well, can't wait to go back to get a pumpkin bomb before the season ends. (ps I've had multiple pumpkin bombs from different establishments and this place has the best.)

I first visited Finnhenry's on a Downtown Pub Crawl and was impressed with its cleanliness and attentive bar staff. Recently, I met up there for a Tweet Up and encountered awesome Happy Hour specials for a Thursday night, great staff who always made sure your drink was full and the next one came before your current beverage ran out. We sat inside but there's plenty of space inside and outside in a small patio. There's also plenty of bar space to catch the bar tender's attention, which is very nice. I'd both recommend and return to Finnhenry's, especially since I now work in Downtown Orlando and they're just a few short blocks away.
(4)Kirsten Z.
This place is waaay too crowded on certain nights, and would get only 3 stars if it weren't for tons and tons of extremely hot men, all the time. And they are always alone or with their guy friends (this feels like the right to confirm that no, in my experience, they are not all gay). Seriously, it's an untapped resource of sexy in Orlando, which is really hard to find.
(4)Ying D.
I love this place! Service is great and all the bartenders are wonderful. A must: the Dirty Finn!
(5)Justin S.
this place has become my normal sunday spot for football. what you see is what you get, and on sundays... thats all i require. the best part .... they cook free food for you !!!!! cool concept. the dj during commercials gets a little silly but worth the interruptions. also dig the chalkboard bathrooms!
(4)Giuseppe D.
Another pretty cool little spot I had a chance to visit during my mini-Orlando vacation with a couple friends. We came here for happy hour, excited, because Chicago doesn't have happy hour (insert insanely sad face here). It was really chill, only a few customers, so we all sat at the bar. I like the whole setup/ambiance, very homely, very fun. The specials were nice, I don't remember very clearly but I was there for over 3 hours and left with less than a $60 tab so either the prices were great or I drink like a teenage girl (let's just go with the former, for my reputation's sake). After making small talk with a few of the locals that were there they informed me that Finnhenry's is one of the main spots to be at during the night. It gets packed with fun young people and usually gets out of hand (which is my kind of spot). The most memorable part of coming here, though, was the bartender. I remember her name, Sayschel (not sure if that's spelled properly). She was very attractive (obviously why I remembered) but really just had a great personality; probably why she's a bartender. She gave me and my friends some good insight on what other spots we could go to that we'd enjoy during our visit, and she was right about every spot. Definitely a fun, comfortable place to go to. If I lived in Orlando I'd definitely frequent here.
(4)Carri B.
I like Finnhenry's when it's light out. If you can get in for lunch (before noon or after 1PM assures a table), the food is good and they have great specials. In fact, I had an AMAZING chicken pot pie the other day. Their roast beef sandwich is another favorite. The staff is also really friendly (although not speedy, so be prepared). However, when the sun sets, this place is douchebag central. I don't think I've ever seen so many Ed Hardy shirts in one place! So, I would definitely recommend it for lunch. But, if you have a low tolerance for assholes, as I do, I'd avoid the bar crowd.
(3)Elizabeth B.
A few words to describe my FinnHenry's recent interactions: 1) Amazing Southwest Chicken Salad 2) Amazing Black Bean Soup 3) Amazing Service & Promptness 4) Amazing New Menu 5) Amazing new theme of Halloween in Finns Am I using Amazing too much?
(5)Ale R.
Awesome! Even though I was there during a game, there were lots of people + music :) I was visiting my friend and felt very much at home at this bar.

"The styling is creative, Black Sheep of the Native Can't be violated, or even decepticated I got brothers in the Jungle, cousins on the Quest" Dig It! This irish pub is poppin' on the weekends. The music is legit most nights, straight up old school like Black Sheep, that you just HAVE to sing along to...or at least I do =) Watch out when they put on my fav Beastie Boys tune, Paul Revere...I go crazy! It's pretty tiny, you walk in and the bar is straight ahead and is the center of the place so that takes up most of the room. DJ is to the right when you come in so that takes out another corner and directly across on the same wall in the other corner are the bathrooms (only two) HUGE FAIL on the weekends...humungo lines...best to hold it till the next place if possible. Speaking of, this is usually a mid-point bar (hit back some shots, make it a meeting place) or a close out the night bar (chill while everyone is "locking it up" (thanks JIgga) and to sing your lungs out to make sure your voice is gone for the rest of the weekend. The place to set up (in my opinion) is to the left side of the bar to escape "traffic" is the left corner immediately when you go in - easy access to the bar and lett frustration. Don't take it from me...listen to the BS: "You can get with this, or you can get with that.... You should get with this, 'cause this is where it's at!"
(4)Joey D.
Watched the super bowl there for a little. Nice staff, cool atmosphere. Wouldn't particularly call Irish as the name suggests, but the beer was cold. What more is needed?
(3)Randy H.
This place gets packed on the weekends. Just like every other bar in the Downtown area. It is a decent sized venue with TV's around showing on going sporting events. The drink specials arent so bad. They vary from night to night. If you're looking for just a place to hang out and grab some drinks on a night out, this is definitely a place to check out. The bar staff is pretty quick with helping as many people as they can. Ive heard they have good food specials during the day, maybe one of these days I will stop by and check it out myself.
(3)Mike C.
This place seems to always be packed on a Saturday night! I counted 8 HD TVs and a couple of speakers mounted high around the bar area. The Top 20s music was blasting loud and the elbow room was non existent. I still give this place four stars though just for the festive atmosphere. The drink prices seemed to be on par with the rest of the bars downtown ($3.50 base price for budlight). I'd recommend this place as a meetup spot or a people watching spot. Not sure if I could spend the whole night here though.
(4)Joshua J.
I have only ever been in here in the later hours. The place is pretty much packed every time I have been here and it is generally a good mix of people. Unfortunately, it is always too smokey for me. If you are looking for a place to grab a quick drink, its not a bad spot, just dont stay too long.
(3)Sarah T.
Went here for lunch over Memorial Day weekend and loved it. We sat outside and enjoyed a super spicy bloody mary. My friend ordered the mac and cheese meatloaf-which he devoured and I ordered the southwest chicken salad with honey lime dressing. My salad was huge and super fresh-very filling. The menu has a lot of options and the service was also great.
(3)Carl G.
This is my new favorite bar on Orange Ave. While I know other people have reviewed it I will sing right along with them on the positive side. Great Bartenders for drinks before Magic games or downtown events. They also serve a really good lunch and everyday they will have several lunch specials. It's one of the few place to dine Al Fresco directly on Orange Ave for lunch giving Orlando a big city feel! My favorite bartender is Marina so go in and have her mix you a drink, or a shot. You can't go wrong have drinks or food here!
(4)Laurie T.
Best buffalo chicken wrap I've had. Great for quick lunches downtown and happy hour meet ups. I haven't had anything in the menu that wasn't tasty. Daytime bartender is great. Service at the tables is extremely fast. The space is on the small side so tables can fill up fast, but there are a few outdoor tables also (which sometimes get overlooked so you might need to get someone's attention).
(4)Mia P.
Busy place in Downtown Orlando for lunch. The sandwiches are pub fare, also quite fresh and delicious. Love the salt and pepper potato chips that are served with sandwiches. One of the things I like about the menu is that all the prices are specific and when combined with tax they total a whole number. So you don't have to fuss with change at all if paying with cash. This place has a pub like atmosphere and it's okay for a nice lunch. The salads are very good and quite large.
