We have been wanting to re-visit for a long while, but always felt hesitation. Well we bucked up and went for it last night 9/9/15 almost a year since our last visit and 2-star review. What a change and for the better!! First off, we noted to music level - very tolerable at around 6:30p. We didn't have to yell at each other like last time and could have a nice conversation. We sat at the bar and both of our bartenders were fantastic, (I'm terrible with names so I apologize for no shout out to them) they were very helpful with drink and food selections. There is a wide variety of beverages and the extra tips were nice. It was Ladies Social Night, so for ladies it was 1/2 off drinks and apps all day - FAB!! Tonight was an apps only night and had the Beggars Purses, Wings, & Devilish Eggs. All 3 were top notch flavors - Beggars Purses: Fried Phylio Dough with a delectable and delicate shrimp and scallop filling. The Signature Wings were grilled perfectly - we chose the mojo dry rub - they weren't too fatty and comes with a half grilled lemon which when squeezed over the wings lent a tangy compliment to mojo rub. I chose the Green Goodess dressing for my dip and it was herby and light. Finally for the Devilish Eggs, these had a slight kick of jalapeno and nice undertones of the caramelized onions - what I missed somewhere was the bourbon bacon sweetness and a little more creaminess - the filling was a bit firm. Overall, much better experience from the atmosphere to the food. We are looking forward to coming back this Sunday for brunch with family - the menu looks amazing!! We are ready to make this our neighborhood spot.

Had lunch with our work team on a weekday. Service was excellent for our party of 8, and they did a good job of accomodating our request for a different table. I had the salad with fried chicken. The boneless chicken was moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The breading was quite peppery and very good. Salad itself was fresh with a light dressing on the side. The burgers served at the table must have been good too, as there were only clean plates at the end of our lunch hour. The decor is sleek and modern. Seems like this place should be in Winter Park or downtown Orlando! Take a ride out and check it out - food is solid.

Went in for dinner. There were 3 of us and the place was empty so we had no problem getting a table right away. We sat in one of the booths which are really comfortable. One of my dinner partners has really short legs and she appreciated the extra step under the booths to rest your feet on. We all had burgers and they were all pretty good. I wouldn't say this was my favorite burger of all the choices around town, but it was a good size and good taste. I got fries with mine, one of my friends got tater tots and the other friend had a ceasar salad. I actually liked the salad the best out of the sides. The tator tots were really plain and the fries were OK - just nothing that stood out about them. The salad was small but had a really good flavor. One of the few places that actually serves it with anchovies on top - they do ask first, in case you hate anchovy. Two of us had a few beers. Our waitress did a great job recommending some tap beers. She brought a couple of samples for one of my friends who couldn't decide. We all appreciated that. It's great when a restaurant does that - like I said we all wound up have 3 rounds so it paid off. I would go back for a burger, a few beers and to watch a game. The place is huge so I doubt it ever gets really crowded, so you should always be able to find a table to sit and enjoy your meal.

We live down the street from here and boy am I glad we do! Going in I was a little skeptical based on reviews but I'm glad they were not the most true. We came around 11pm on Tuesday and I thought it was so good I went back around 7pm on Wednesday. Both times our service was amazing. The staff was very attentive, constantly checking in and offering advice and help. I think where people go wrong is when they come here in a hurry, it's not the place for that. The food is quality, which takes time. If you're just looking for a place to drink GREAT beer at an amazing price and phenomenal food also priced well then this place is perfect! It's such a diamond in the metro west rough. The interior is so classy and chic, I was expecting high dollar signs, but the prices are amazing! $6 QUALITY craft beer?! Unbelievable. And the entrees all ranging no more than $16 for ribs?! Burgers at $12? I don't see how this place can do any wrong. I had the smothered tots the first night based on reviews and they were amazing! Even my boyfriend was digging in. He got the bison burger and loved it! The next day I came for appetizers and beer, which worked out perfectly because Wednesday is ladies social, half off drinks and appetizers! I ordered two beers and two appetizers and my bill was less than $15! Crazy! They have specials every day of the week. I brought my dog to the patio and the staff was so sweet with him, and they brought out water without me asking and offered treats! I am definitely going to be a regular here

I really like this place. The food was delicious (the mojo wings are awesome ). The place is big so no waiting time . They have a good selection of craft beer. The bartenders are always very knowledgeable about beer and what they think you'd like and they take good care of you. My only complaint is that the food order took too long.

"Crafted" to make me crazy for food! That's what this place did to me, and I loved every minute of it. Those who have lived in the Orlando area may remember the Winter Park place called "The Mill"...this place is like The Mill's sweet hipster love child. I love the atmosphere in here, all the dim lighting, wood, and chalk boards with beer names written all over them. There is an ample patio area and I saw a few well behaved dogs out there with people. Like that vibe, very chill. SO many craft beers on tap, lots of unusual brands, and great food. Was happy to see my favorite on draught, La Fin Du Monde. They have beer flights with high alcohol beers and also other flights with just regular craft beers. Love that they distinguish between the two. Lots of cider choices here too. My friend and I had the pimento mac and cheese, the drunken mussels and clams, the mojo wings, and the pork belly "totchos" (tater tots). These "appetizers" were big enough to share for two people and we had extra to take home. The mac and cheese was my absolute favorite, and while the drunken clams were good, I was not too into the flavor that night. We finished the meal by sharing the phenomenal ancho chili brownie sundae with salted caramel ice cream, topped with whipped cream and a bit of candied bacon. It was so perfect, and it had this tiny bit of chili "kick" to the chocolate, easily one of the best desserts in Orlando. I would come back JUST for this dessert, but everything else was perfect as well. Our service was great. Can't wait to come back here, seriously, I am all about this place. Our server also explained that many nights during the week that they run different specials. Also, it looks like Sundays there is a separate brunch menu too. Can't wait to return for another meal.

I've been here twice. The first time we had half our dinner with a server named Nick, he was excellent. He ended up getting cut for the night and Jerome finished our visit. He was texting and wondering around aimlessly even tho we were 1 table of 3 that was there at that time. I doubt our tip went to Nick as we requested. Second visit we walk in and stand in the front, 3 people that worked there looked up at us for a second then looked away, including the manager. We stood there and felt uncomfortable until someone finally came to seat us. I tried their ribs, they were terrible. Maybe they're known for their drinks rather than their service or food. I have no intentions on returning

I have eaten here a few times since I work in the office building right next door. Service is extremely slow at lunch time.. it's literally impossible to order lunch and be in and out within 30-35 minutes. Even if you tell them that you only have 30 minutes, it still takes longer. The food is alright, but it takes forever and three days to get it. Also, they put flyers on my car on a regular basis and when it rains, they get caked onto my vehicle. Then when it gets hot and sunny right after it rains, I end up with a weird papery film on my car and you can see their slider coupon imprinted on the side of my door.

Crafted.......I had to give this place a much needed update considering the gazillion of times I have visited Crafted and pretty much recommend it to every place I know. Everything that I have had at Crafted is amazing. Let's Dig in...... Taco Tuesdays, the tacos are a $1.79 and simply delicious. On Wednesdays, it is half off appetizers and drinks for the Lovely Ladies. On Friday's It's 2 for 1 drinks! Appetizers I would recommend: The Grilled Wings: I typically order the Mojo seasoning, they are so tenderly delicious. Artisanal Cheese Dip: The dip is a blanket of cheese goodness, which comes with chips to get your cheese craving on. Smothered Tots: If you are counting calories, then stay away from this dish because it is smothered in the goodness tater tots with melted cheese and pretty much all the works. Salads: I have had the Wedge Salad which is refreshing and always hits the spot. Oh and the Block Tenderloin Salad which is so delicious the mixture of filet medallions, fresh spinach, arugula, with tomatoes, and gorgonzola. Also, you can get the same variation of this Salad with Salmon, which is also superb. My new favorite dish is the Midwest Bison Burger. This dish is YOWZERS! It's grilled Bison topped with my favorite Blue Cheese, onions dripped in balsamic, sauteed mushrooms, and arugula. The SUNDAY BRUNCH.......definitely one of my favorite brunch spots. The brunch here is absolutely ridiculous in a good way. What I would recommend... just typing this right now is making me insanely hungry. The Shrimp and Grits is the perfect combination of cheddar grits, sausage, fried green tomato, with Shrimp. This dish is simply tantalizing and will leave you craving for more. The Basque Frittata super tasty, cheese and chorizo. How can you go wrong? Yes there is a Mimosa Bar and Bloody Mary Bar! They offer an insane amount of Craft Beers here, and a lot of the beers you can have a couple of samples before you actually commit to ordering a beer. The beers range from Sea Dog, New Belgium Flat Tire, Funky Buddha, Kona Longboard, and Sweetwater 420. Just to name a few! The Whiskey Menu has a great selection, and the Craft Cocktails are amazing! The Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is modern and relaxing simultaneously. I love coming here. Everything is truly Crafted to Perfection. The culinary skills are unique and flavorful. Happy Hour, Lunch, Brunch, Dinner.......you simply cannot go wrong.

When this restaurant is good...it's very good! But I have developed my favorite few...shepherds pie, blt with fried green tomatoes, and the deviled eggs. The tater tots with pork is inconsistent. The duck sandwich is good, but too much on the pickled peaches so I removed them. Some of the servers leave too long and are nowhere to be seen. I do prefer to sit at the bar. I'll be back, but as I have read these comments, so have I been told by customers that I have sent...kinda all over the place.

Disappointed today with both service and food. Easy order of med cooked burger came out well done and bratty server seemed to think we were out of line with amount of time it took to come out in an almost empty restaurant. I have had both good and bad service here. The food has mostly been good. No real customer engagement by staff or mgmt. we spoke to Devin, GM and Executive Chef about our disappointment. We tried to share what we hope for in this restaurant that is a cool concept. He seemed eager to get us on our way with gift cards rather than discuss our feedback. We left the gift cards as we have no intention of returning only to risk a disappointing experience yet again.

"We've attacked our menu with an artisan approach - adding premium ingredients, untraditional combinations and unapologetically robust flavor." This is a really cool looking restaurant and they have great print ads but I really wish the above statement from the website reflected what actually comes out of the kitchen. We've tried this place a couple of times and each time hoping the food would get better. The quality is just not that good. Thank goodness they have BEER! I think that will keep people coming but the menu needs to be looked at, whether it is execution or even tasting. Below are some of the items that we've had. -Hummus & Crudite platter: black Eyed pea hummus with grilled vegetables and lavash crisps (the vegetables are supposed to be grilled... but when we got them they were cold! I think they grilled them then put them in the fridge. It was pretty gross. The hummus wasn't anything special and tasted store bought.) -Grilled wings: dry rubbed wings with mojo spice topped with grilled lemon (As I mentioned before, we got them and there were very bland. We had to ask for more seasoning and different sauces to give them some kind of flavor.) -Totchos: golden crispy tater tots, green Chili sauce, kurobuta pork belly, melted cheddar cheese, green onions, red jalapeño (there was nothing crispy about these tater tots. The sauce was poured right in the center of the plate and made everything soggy. The sauce also tasted store bought. -Florida Citrus salad: spring mix, seasonal citrus, goat cheese, candied walnuts, orange hefeweizen vinaigrette (ordering this salad you think you are going to get something refreshing and bright. I barely got any citrus and again. ...the vinaigrette tasted store bought.) -Block & Blue burger: blackened burger topped with caramelized onion and blue cheese aioli, crispy onion, bourbon bacon (we ordered the burger medium and the burger was charred on the outside making it very tough to eat.) The food has been very disappointing and the service had been mixed. Our first visit we had good service but after that it has gone down hill. On one occasion we tried the wings and asked for extra seasoning and sauces because they were so bland. The server looked at us with a blank bored face and took about 15mns to get us the seasoning. Even a manager walked over to us, we told him what we thought of the food and he didn't seem to care as well. What's the point in asking our acting like you want to know when you really don't? I really wish that this place worked on improving the food and service. There is nothing like this in the Metro West area.

I have since been back twice and sat with Eleanor at the bar. She is phenomenal and Rich on the management team has been more than helpful. It has been an awesome bar to spend NFL weekend watching games, and I'm happy to see that it seems my service issues were perhaps a one off situation.

First of all, I rarely go out to MetroWest, so definitely going out a bit. I was going with a couple of friends for one of their birthdays. We sat in a white leather semicircle booth, which we still had plenty of room to spread out. Thinking to my self for easily the first five minutes how comfortable I was. A few moments after that, our server came over and went through some of her favorites on the menu. She was very informative and caring to what we were looking for. Me being an avid beer drinker, I was very keen to try the many types they had. It was so hard to choose, so our server brought over samples. I rarely see this, especially smaller places.

Well we tried. We really wanted to like this place. We were excited when a new eatery opened in the Metrowest Shopping Village, only a few miles from our house. It wasn't going to be one of those greasy chain restaurants along Kirkman, this place was going to be clean and modern with a unique and inspiring menu. Crafted Block and Brew opened last summer in the old space that was last known as Taquitos Jalisco, and before that a couple of different Italian places. Sure, the space seems cursed. The only thing consistent in that entire shopping center is the Publix. But I digress. We really hoped we were finally going to have a nice local eatery, a place to meet friends for lunch or enjoy a Sunday brunch. What we found was a place to leave with a wallet that was $70 lighter and a stomach that was still hungry. Three of us met for a business lunch and since it was work related we chose not to indulge in the beer. Maybe that was the problem. Maybe we just need to enjoy a beer. Instead, we ate lunch. First of all, my disclaimer, Crafted caters to meat eaters and meat eaters only I believe. We found ONE Vegetarian entree on the lunch and dinner menu and it was a salad. Oh joy. The ol' Vegetarian restaurant salad. We had at least hoped for maybe a veggie wrap or something. There were a few more options for Pescatarians but they were few and far between on a menu stuffed with burgers and pork belly. Again, they don't claim to be a healthy veggie-type place and really that was only a small contributor to the overall issue. We started with the Artisanal Cheese Dip- four cheeses melted together and served with tomato jam and crisp flat bread. The garlicky taste of the dip was great, the tomato jam was meh and the lavash crisps were nicely toasted and seasoned. With the menu lacking any other decent choices we all three decided to order fish. Two of us ordered the Grilled Mahi Tacos and they were disappointing. We were each served two soft tortillas filled with mahi, lettuce and a drizzle of Tzatziki. A small flour tortilla can only hold so much mahi- a third taco may have been perfect. The menu also promised Aegean relish of which I have no idea what it is because our tacos didn't have any. On the side we had two more of those lavash bread crisps and a small dollop of hummus. We basically paid $14.95 each and we left still hungry. It just wasn't enough food, especially for the price. The third entrée we ordered was the Greek Salmon Salad and it too was sad. Also priced at $14.95, it was a lot of lettuce, a few capers, cucumbers, roasted red peppers and feta cheese. Again, the menu promised Aegean relish and I can only assume it's that little dollop of whatever was on the salmon. Whatever it was it added nothing to the dish. However, the salmon was plump and juicy, seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. But the portion was not proportional to the price. I just feel that three people with an appetizer and each their own entrees should have left somewhat satisfied. We fondly look back on that lunch as very expensive snack- the kind you would find at a high end resort in a private cabana by the pool. Only, we had no resort, no cabana, no pool...not even a poolboy. So the bad- the portions are small, the prices are high and the menu is limited if you refrain from beef and pork (again- Crafted makes no claim to cater to non-meat eaters.) The good- nice open, clean and modern space with lots of light. Great patio for enjoying the weather. Good service. And the food we had was good.

I enjoyed my recent visit here with some girlfriends. It's located in the former Taqueria Jalisco space in the Publix plaza off Hiawassee in Metrowest. We ventured here on a Tuesday night and it wasn't very busy. Most of the patrons were seated at the bar. We had our own booth towards the back part of the restaurant and probably waited for a good long 10-15 minutes before my friend flagged down a waitress to at least take our drink orders. That was a little annoying only because the restaurant was essentially empty but besides that, our experience was a good one. They have an expansive list of craft beers and a couple of ciders along with wines. I decided to try the McKenzie's black cherry cider which another friend had also. We both liked that it had a subtle sweetness. I would order that again. I decided to order the "Totchos" appetizer for all of us to share. Whatever you do, ORDER this. It was amazing-- lots of great flavors with the green chili sauce, cheddar cheese, green onions and red jalapeno topped with season rubbed pork belly. I shouldn't have even ordered an entrée because this SHOULD be an entrée. Our server, Elanor(assuming this is her name from my receipt), was great. She took over our table and apologized for the wait in the beginning but more than made up for it by being personable and just great with her suggestions and service. The menu has a mix of all sorts of yummy dishes whether you eat meat, chicken, seafood, vegetables. I opted for the Cajun snapper entrée which was a perfect sized piece of fish over a bed of cheddar grits with a maque choux paired with a side of wilted spinach. I took a few bites and was pleased with the meal but after gorging myself on tator tots I found myself full rather quickly. So keep that in mind if you do decide to order. This dish is very rich. Didn't matter because that's a meal for the next day! Unfortunately we were too full to even have dessert so that will be saved for next time. The restaurant itself is very cute. Very nice and spacious with option to eat outside. The décor reminds me a lot of Avenue Gastrobar Downtown because of the exposed wood everywhere. There are plenty of tvs here to watch sporting events so it's perfect for those that live nearby. I'd certainly eat here again if in the area!

Amazing food, amazing service. My best friend and I heard about this place through a friend of mine. It just so happened that the night we went was ladies night which was half off ALL drinks and appetizers! My bestie had the loaded tots and I had the caprese salad and added salmon to it (to me, salmon goes well with any salad). They have a large selection of drafts (including two ciders, which are my preference) and plenty of cocktails to choose from. Some nights Crafted has live music and specials most nights. I will definitely be back. If it weren't so far from my house it would be a regular spot for us.

After my second visit, I need to adjust my rating to 3 for a few reasons: 1.) We were seated at an extremely wobbly high top and had to ask to be moved to a more stable table. (We couldn't put our arms in the table without it moving lol). 2.) My roasted vegetables that were supposed to come with my steak was sautéed spinach with garlic? 3.) My boyfriend asked for tator tots as the side with light seasoning, but he got unsalted fries? 4.) The menu is kind of a miss for me. (I think it may be the titles of the items?). I find it odd that there are no sides on the menu. Their are some items on the menu that are a bit "above the beer crowd's head"...so I imagine most people just order burgers. I'd like to see some traditional items and then a few that are extremely unique. Doesn't have to be classy or upscale. 3 strong points: 1.) The service itself was really great...just like the first time. Very kind, accommodating and checked on us often. 2.) The beer selection is really great...and well diversified. 3.) The desserts on the menu seem very "crafted" and unique...they all are enticing and though we haven't tried them yet, I'd like to!

I've been in to Crafted Block & Brew twice now, and each time was fantastic! The first time was for a work happy hour. Our servers were friendly and helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu (both beer and food). I talked to one of the chefs, who gave me some advice for food to try the next time I went in. The second time was lunch with a friend. The place was slow, and our server was even slower. She stopped by our table ONCE while we ate and then took another 20 minutes to come by to see if we needed checks. So slow. But the burger I had was delicious, so I couldn't complain. The menu is nice, the server I had the first time was fantastic, the beer selection is awesome, and the decor is very cool though hipster. Overall, I enjoyed it, and will definitely be back in the future to explore more of the menu!

Went two separate times for lunch. Both times were bad. Place was empty and full of wait staff standing around and yet service is soooo slow. Last time I was there I ordered the filet tenderloin salad. Waited forever for it to come out and it was steak was just barely warm. I didn't feel like trying to find the waitress to have it sent back and wait another 20 minutes for it to come back. My husband ordered the salmon salad and his was warm but the salmon was overcooked. What was annoying was our server wandered by us while we were waiting for our food and asked if we were still doing ok. We politely told her our sodas were fine however we would be doing a lot better with food. She just said it will be out soon and wandered off again. Didn't bother to go check on it. I see no point in returning. Go to Teak.

This place is a great find in metrowest and I love coming here, it's the Winter Park vibe without the long drive and lack of parking. The food is great (a tad salty for a sober meal) and prices are reasonable. Great beer selection and awesome Happy Hour, but they call their food gourmet, and it's good, but not as high class as they make it out to be. What's odd is they advertise a separate time for lunch and dinner yet it's the same menu, so don't look for anything different. I am excited to try the brunch soon, I've heard great things about it!

The best thing to get here is there a strawberry and crushed basil drink. It is phenomenal. I could drink it all day long. This is pretty much a bar with bar food. The decor is nice and the servers are nice also. If you're looking to hang out and grab a couple of good drinks this is the place. Eating here is not the best. There are no alterations to the menu and I'm not sure if there is too many options back in the kitchen to swap out ingredients. I am vegan, & I have severe food allergies. But I still like to go out every once and a while see my friends. They had this watermelon and arugula salad. the flavors didn't match too well. and they soak the watermelon in balsamic vinaigrette. the flavors didn't match too well. But it was edible and I do appreciate that. I recommend this place for really good drinks.

This craft beer pub is a great addition to Metrowest. Taking over a long empty restaurant space, the total remodel has created a light, airy and open environment with a large bar in the center. The new outside dining area is extensive, and is rain free, even during a thunderstorm (as we tested!) The menu offers a nice assortment of salads, sandwiches and burgers. I had the roasted vegetable salad, which had an interesting assortment of root vegetables and was tossed with a deliciously herbal dressing. We also sampled the cheese appetizer, which was a tasty dish combining several flavors for spooning onto wontons. Service was extremely attentive and friendly. A great new neighborhood hang out.

Food was fantastic. Service and bartender need a little work. We were here with a big group and after our bill was given to us, we were completely ignored even though a few of us wanted to stick around for a few more. Bartender seemed annoyed that he had to help us. Overall service could definitely improve after the last we heard was "do you need much more?"

So excited to try this place but was met with horrible service. Now I will admit I've never worked in a restaurant but having only three tables..is that busy? Our waitress looked Los overwhelmed with life that she forgot half my order and we sat with dirty plates in front of us for over 15 minutes! When she brought the check finally she realized her mistake and tried to make me take the part of the order she forgot to go. The food was unimpressive and the place in unwelcoming. #epicfail

Editing my original review. Tried again! And this time, cold beer and yummy tacos and a good waiter! Came for Taco Tuesday... Delicious. Original post: We keep trying... We've gone for lunch, dinner, happy hour, just desert... Every time we were disappointed. Slow service, no service, warm beer, out of beer, mediocre food. I wish it was better. I want it to be good!

Fried Green Tomatos were a bit under cooked for me. Very much on the green-crunch- I think they missed the mark a bit. The salsa on top is an okay, but sweet toping. IMO a distraction from what I simply wanted. Stout Corned Beef Hash & Eggs was really delicious. Like corned beef should be! Succulent. I only had a single soft cooked egg on my pile, not two per the menu description. The hash is really more like an Angel Hair Hash brown potato than a cubed hash. Altogether though this dish rocks! Would have it again but ask for my missing egg. LOL The jalipino cilantro cream was on there but my only perception was VISUAL. No added flavor on my palate. Good portion size too- not a horse gagger in size, but good for my brunch. Our server Christina was great too.

This place is incredible. There are 24 beers on tap and even more by the bottle, most of them local. The atmosphere is friendly and the menu changes regularly with great recipes I would never have thought to try. My server and bartender, Lola, made sure my glass was never empty and my food was done right. Definitely will go here again.

Serious beer selection! Totchos were great (very large portion for an app) I recommend the block tenderloin salad (swapped out horseradish dressing for the green goddess dressing and was quite pleased) house Pinot Grigio was impressive for the price. Shall return for special nights

I visited Crafted last Friday night in hopes of a very rare circumstance, a foodie night in Metro West. It's located in a Publix strip center off Hiawassee that I was familiar with, which now is right across from some fancy looking office/retail buildings by some developer who thinks all Hiawassee needed to class itself up was some orange and yellow Tuscan style shops that do not compliment the old strip center next to it. I was pleasantly surprised at the inside of Crafted. Warm wood paneling, cool lighting and chalk art as far as the eye could see. Plenty of seating with a medium sized bar. You didn't feel like other patrons were right on top of you, which I enjoyed since a lot of the places I've been going lately are tight on space and every meal becomes communal. No offense, but I don't need to be worried if I have food on my face because a stranger is staring at me. The name of the restaurant may lead you to believe that it's all about craft beer, but this is not entirely true. They pride themselves on food that is crafted and truly made from scratch. If you are a serious craft beer drinker you will not be impressed by their on tap selection. While they do have a decent variety of craft brews, it's not above and beyond what is now becoming a standard for most restaurants. You will most likely be familiar with their selection not being stumped by any unknown brews. Their cocktail list did catch my eye, but since it was happy hour I decided to wait until next time for a $12 drink. We ordered the Totchos as an appetizer, which was their take on all the deliciousness of nachos but substituted with tater tots. It was one of those duh moments where you realized you could have been mixing all this goodness together at home for years. Green chili sauce, pork belly, topped with melted cheddar cheese, green onion and red jalapeños chilling with tots and it was pretty tasty. I will say, my cheese was not melted all the way, which since my waitress (who looked like Amber from Parenthood) told me that things take longer from the kitchen due to being made from scratch was kind of a bummer. A few more seconds wouldn't have killed you! It was good nonetheless. It was really hard to choose an entree from the menu, because so many things looked good, but in the end I went with the Pork Tacos and my hubby went with Apple Sage Pork Loin. Now in a city that has given happy belly groans thanks to both Tako Cheena and now Pig Floyd's; the world of pork tacos has gotten pretty serious. You will instantly be compared to one of these places, so there is no room for error. I have to say that Crafted stood their own in the pork taco business. The Bourbon BBQ pulled pork was tender and had a really nice flavor and the avocado mango salad that came with it was the perfect companion. I was able to sneak a bite of the Apple Sage Pork Loin, which FOODIE ALERT was wrapped in hand cut prosciutto, and it was awesome! It came with garlic mash potatoes that you could tell were made from scratch and thankfully not overloaded with salt, and sauteed spinach. I was really, truly surprised at how good this meal that I was eating just doors away from an Anytime Fitness. Despite the fact that we were both pretty full, you never under any circumstances ignore a dessert menu item that is called "Chipolte Chocolate Brownie". Even the waitress was excited for us when we ordered it. She confided in me that as an ex-chili head herself, her favorite dessert is usually the chocolate molten lava cake but this brownie made her forget those days. Sure you can say chocolate is chocolate, but this is not your average brownie sundae. This is a double chocolate Ghirardelli chipotle brownie garnished with candied walnuts and sweet ancho bourbon bacon. You know when two people share a dessert, and after the first spoonful your eyes meet with a shiny glimmer of excitement and greedy intensity because you no longer want their spoon touching what has now become in your mind YOUR dessert, and if they take one more spoonful you may have to stab them in the hand with your biutter knife? Ok, maybe that is just how I react to a perfect dessert. The menu did try to warn me. I should have listened. Not only was our food and service great, but I really loved the design and small touches in service in the restaurant. The menus had clever taglines listed throughout like "Friends don't let friends drink mass produced beer" and that theme carried throughout the whole restaurant. Even how our bill was presented was a nice touch. Crafted is a much needed breath of foodie air to Metro West and I will definitely be taking more frequent visits back to my old stomping ground thanks to them.

What can I say, the food & service was great. The atmosphere is perfect & the decor is unmatched. My significant other & I went on Monday & experienced there $1.29 Sliders & they were so delicious. We added the Pimiento Mac & Cheese and what a savory surprise that was. The drinks were on point. Let's just say I can't wait to return for Taco Tuesdays and another Sliders Monday.

Second time for dinner. First time was shortly after they opened and the experience wasn't great. This time it was! The tomato bisque was great along with the house Pinot. I ordered the pork porterhouse which is bourbon brined and glazed with a mixed potato (sweet included) Brussel sprout hash. Soooooo good!!!! Everyone was really pleased with their meals. My husband had a Kentucky bourbon barrel stout that had a little bit of a coffee flavor. It went excellently with his Block Steak sandwich. I'm glad to see and taste that the menu has improved. Definitely coming back more often to this great little neighborhood gem.

Came here for a friends birthday for the first time. I think it's great. Jalapeño infused vodka for the Bloody Mary bar and shrimp and grits were the bomb!

This place has great potential. The atmosphere is good and the menu has a wide range of delicious options- especially the Sunday brunch. However, our experience both the service and the food fell flat. Waiter was nice but forgot a few details in regards to drinks and sides that ruined the experience. The steak and eggs had all the right ingredients to be great but the chimichurri sauce overwhelmed the eggs. The chicken and waffles had good flavors but the waffle was burnt and dry. The biscuit and banana pancakes were good. Would come back and try lunch - seems like it just needs a bit more refinement.

I love this place! They have a great drink selection and their brunch is to die for! They have a mimosa/bloody mary bar during the brunch period, and you get to choose your juice mixes/vodka flavoring for the bloody mary. I got a pork belly french toast thing for brunch and I was not disappointed! Every time we go it's not too busy, but I don't know if that's good or bad. I had the same waiter both times I went and I felt like he was trying really hard to be 'too cool for school.' All in all, it was a good experience and I would 100% go back for brunch especially!

Well, 6 months later the beautifully designed Crafted has probably seen the last of me. The phrase "I wish Crafted was better" has passed my lips, those of my favorite dining companion, and those of many friends frequently when deciding where to go in this area. The food quality has declined across the board. I often wonder if places have a chef guide the opening, 'train' the staff, then leave. Service started out terrible and, believe it or not, has gotten worse. After a few visits we met one of the owners and discussed the service. You know there's a problem when you can't get another round. I tried Crafted for lunch one weekday and, thankfully, had a cancellation at the 1 o'clock hour. From being seated to getting our drinks took nearly 20 minutes, the food showed up about 15 minutes after that. We waited for the check. No Happy Hour deal can overcome bad food and really bad service - especially when the HH deals are not that great. So here's the summary: the food has become at worst horrible and at best mediocre, service is terrible, forget about getting in and out at lunch, drinks are expensive even on Happy Hour, the decor is absolutely wonderful. Sad, we need a great spot in this area! Maybe the next restaurant in that spot will be better.

I have now been here four times and for what I see they never schedule enough staff. I have sat at the bar every time but no service. You have a 30 plus seat bar and only schedule on bartender... what were you thinking. I watched a table walkout for lunch because all the servers were cut and the only bartender had all the tables for lunch. Have you never heard of staffing for the sales for success. So here I am here again for the fourth and last time. Waited 7 minutes to get a hello and another 5 to get a beer. My app has took over 25minutes, the guy beside me has been waiting for is meal since I got here. The place is three quarters empty at 10pm. The bartender is eating while other customers have not even been greated. No one has checked on anyone... Someone needs a wake up call!

Went back and gave second chance after owner reached out to me. It was the same manager as the time before. We didn't let them know that the owner invited us in to give it a second chance. Again, the place was not busy. We were greeted by the hostess and told to sit wherever we like. We sat outside. After not being greeted for 8 minutes, we finally ordered drinks. I ran back to the car to grab a sweatshirt and gf jacket and our drinks were still not there. We decided to move inside to the bar. At the bar, we saw that the drinks were not even rang up yet. Bartender made our drinks, we let him know those were ours. The bartender was great, knowledgeable, and quick. He brought up the service is lacking there. We ordered two sandwiches. They were good. I would go back, but don't take a chance on the service: sit at the bar.

Great brunch location. This is a very cute restaurant. Nice bloody mary bar with choice of 3 infused vodkas. I had oeppwr biscuits which were great. Followed them with pork belly on a challah french toast, amazing! The service was a little rough. Friendly but not very polished,

I hate that I have to give this place a bad review because I so wanted it to be good but, sadly it wasn't. I came here tonight with my mom on the 21st for the first time after seeing the restaurants advertisements blasted all over my Facebook. Our sever was nice enough, a bit quiet but, I'm ok with that. However, (and it probably wasn't her fault) the coffee we ordered was cold. She had also forgotten one drink order for another person who was with us. We had ordered an appetizer (the cheese dip) and 2 burgers and the meatloaf. The appetizer came out fast enough but, the burgers took forEVER. Over 30 minutes for our main dish AFTER the appetizer came out even though we placed the order for everything together. I even had to go up to the bar to check on the status of the food cause I thought that was ridiculous. Whats worse no one apologized or even really seemed to care. (Also to note, it really wasn't busy at all, and there were a ton of staff just walking around looking idle) The food also had no taste at all. It was bland and the fries that came with it were soggy and reminded me of old McDonalds fries. My mom had gotten a salad too, that she enjoyed however, I wouldn't call it a salad because there were maybe two pieces of lettuce in the whole thing even though it said "ice berg lettuce." My last concern was the price. With just ordering sodas and waters and the food it came to $70 dollars.....what??? For burgers that weren't even good? I loved the idea of this place and for as much advertising as I see them doing I really expected a lot better. This seems like a restaurant only really there to sell beer with food and not the other way around. Maybe I'll try this place again in a few months to see if anything has changed but, probably not.

With a creative menu and modern style, this establishment blew my family out of the water! The staff here is friendly and service is great. when it comes to the food, you will be just as blown away as we were. Burgers are so juicy, fries are delicious, the chicken is outstanding and the array of available beer/wine options is insane. There is not one person who can go to this place and not find something for them on the menu. You just have to go there to try it. This restaurant is going to leave a legacy in MetroWest! Can you tell I'm a fan?

I was excited to see this place pop up not that long ago. Nestled next to my roommate's vet, it this a adorable restaurant. The atmosphere is great. High top table, fancy booths, a bar. We got seated right away, a big plus on a Friday night. They have a large beer menu, some wines and fancy cocktails. They were out of the first I ordered, so I picked another, took a sip and realized it wasn't what I ordered. They went to replace but they were also out of that beer. So I got to keep the mishap beer and they gave me another one on the house. For our app, we got tatchos. Yes, tater tot nachos are on the menu. These were probably the classiest tatchos I've ever had. I got a caprese chicken sandwich for dinner. I didn't realize it was a hot sandwich - I figured it would be cold. That threw me a bit. I should have read the menu a smidge closer. It was good nonetheless and the french fries were amazing. For dessert we got the root beer float, which comes with root beer, ice cream and Guinness :) We also got the goat cheese pound cake. If forced to only pick one, definitely get the float. Totally worth it. The servers were very attentive and the food came out quickly. I really enjoyed this place. I hope you do too.

Metrowest is in need of some new restaurants and Crafted Block & Brew seems to be a pretty good addition to the area. Stopped here with a date on a weeknight. The inside of the restaurant is clean, updated, and nice looking. Plenty of tables and seating options. We chose to sit and eat at the bar. My date and myself are both huge craft beer drinkers. We were happy to see Crafted is actually serving craft beer, however we were pretty disappointed with their choices. Yes it is craft beer, but it is your standards here. You won't be finding anything unique or new to try if you are into craft beer. The bartenders were very nice and helpful. My date was served a beer in a glass that had a huge chunk of it missing. Luckily he caught it before he took a sip. They apologized profusely for this and comped his beer. We both ordered sandwiches. I don't eat meat or chicken, and he is a strict vegetarian. We were both able to find food choices for us on the menu. I ordered a salmon sandwich and he got a veggie sandwich. The salmon was great. However, it was covered in green olive tapenade and it just didn't work with the salmon. I scrapped it off and enjoyed the sandwich much more. The veggie sandwich was standard but good. Not sure if I would go out of my way to eat here again. If I find myself in the area though, I would stop in for a beer and some food.

Awesome place! Hubs & I went on our anniversary. We sat on the patio it was nice! We had two IPA's & they were delish. I think they were 9% or something like that. We had to go for a nice long walk afterwards! Lol. We had the hummus platter. It came with hummus, massive pita chips & roasted veggies. The roasted veggies with hummus was a little different. Hubs said he would have preferred raw veggies. A huge selection & we will be going back again!

Starving yet picky! I wanted a gourmet burger with an egg... I have some usual spots around central Florida but after work I didn't want to drive too far. I simply wanted to be in a good atmosphere, not a chain restaurant, and lots of TV's. This place delivered. It's a cross between a high-end bar and yummy trendy food you'd see on a cooking show. I saw locals enjoying a great atmosphere and trying out different beers. The neighborhood feel is a plus although I truly hope more people hear about this place. I plan on coming back for brunch and happy hour.

Oh how I wish I could pluck the restaurant out of Orlando and place it into my neighborhood. Crafted is nestled right in the heart of Orlando's Metro West area in the Publix shopping center on South Hiawassee. Extensive Craft Beer menu and sophisticated pub grub. The inside of the pub is both sleek and rugged at the same time with it's industrial fixtures, chalk art and warm wood textures. Come for the Craft Beer, But Stay for the Candied Bacon Chipotle Brownie Sundae! Artisanal Cheese Dip, Crab Scotched Egg, Drunken Steak and Pork Tacos get an enthusiastic thumbs up!

I was really hoping this place was a hit just because the area is void of a good foodie spot. This place is packaged and branded as an American gastropub but fails to deliver like the rest of the higher end places that it's trying to mimic. Don't let the branding fool you, this place is the watered down version of anything decent. The food just simply isn't there and the service isn't any better. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

First time to check our crafted at happy hour. They have different selections of beer, wine and mixed cocktails for happy hr. Wish the appetizers were in special but that's ok . We started off with the mojo wings-amazing they were tangy and had the right amount of flavor! Definite must as an appetizer or realistically a meal. I chosen the caprese salad it was good had fresh mozzarella with tomato little lettuce and fried prosciutto.First time I had fried prosciutto it was different and had my hopes up for fresh prosciutto in the salad. My friend had the same and one had meatloaf which he loved. The service was good we were sitting on the patio and we were checked on often. Our server was nice just needed more personality. There was a group meeting inside so we asked her what was going on as we were noisy. Turns out once amonth meet up Orlando meets there so we talked to the person putting it on and we Joined in. Def will be back for the wings and want to try the caprese sand which

I'm happy to have Crafted in the Metro West area. The atmosphere is great and the wait staff is friendly. They have great beer! Their printed marketing pieces are really nice. I go here regularly for lunch and dinners. I recommend the pear salad and steak sandwich.

Is this really in MetroWest?!? I go to the tanning place and kept glancing over at Crafted when I left. I finally took my Mom to have dinner there on a Friday night and I was highly impressed! Service was amazing. I wish I could remember our waitresses name. She also worked down at the WOB on lake eola. They were out of a beer that I wanted and she quickly suggested another based on my original choice. Breck vanilla porter. SO good! Dinner was great. I got a burger and it was easily one of the best burgers I have ever had. The tater tots were basic, nothing too special. My Mom got the mahi mahi sandwich and she loved it as well. Overall I loved it and can't wait to come back!!

This is perhaps my 3rd or 4th visit to Crafted, first time for lunch. My review from before pretty much stands. There were choices for seating, either inside or out. Since it was on the cusp of hot out, we chose to sit inside. There were a plethora of TV's to watch and good music that wasn't too loud to prohibit a a civil conversation, all the ingredients for a nice lunch with my wife and a friend. The menu had a nice range of options. Salads, sandwiches, hamburgers...pretty much anything you might expect or hope for at lunch time. We started with our favorite appetizer, the Artisinal cheese dip. SO good! I honestly (ashamedly?) I could make a meal out of that dip. For lunch I opted to depart from the amazing burgers I've had in the past, choosing the Crispy Chicken Salad. It was a pleasant surprise. The dressing was similar to Ranch dressing, but lighter and much more tasty. My wife had her favorite, the Florida Citrus salad. She was the happiest I've seen her at lunch in a long time. We've tried to replicate this salad at home, with little luck. It's a light, flavorful and delish! The Mrs. always adds chicken to make the meal complete, and she recommends it highly. Our service was very good. The server was helpful in making decisions about beers and ciders. When I was unclear about my order it resulted in the wrong drink being served. She noticed my confusion and quickly set things right, even though (my wife says) the mistake was my fault. Food came quickly and as promised, drinks were replenished in a timely manner, and the check was brought quickly. Nice spot, good service, great food. What more could you ask for?

Every time I go this restaurant they never have enough waiters or waitresses. I always have to wait a long time to be served. The only dish I like is the club sandwich with an egg. I had to take the dessert home at lunch because it took them past an hour to serve the meal so there was no time to eat the dessert. I am now having it and all it is, is ordinary dry pound cake. Goat cheese pound cake? Don't think so! I have been disappointed too many times by this place. This was the last time I'll go there.

If you're in the area it's a good spot to grab a bite but I wouldn't go out of my way. It was a good burger and the sweet potato fries were good but they needed their own sauce to make a real home run. The burgers are hearty, have good flavor, and will leave you feeling full. They do have salads, if you want something lighter. I was just feeling greedy so I went the burger route:) if you find yourself in metro west and want a beer and a burger you should stop by. They have outdoor seating if it isn't too hot.

Been there about 3 more times, have ordered to go another 5.... always good, consistently great. With 2 people on my table or 10, service is friendly, food is served to temperature and it's delicious. We've had almost every dish on the menu for lunch or dinner. Great each and every time. For beer snobs like myself the beer selection is OK, nothing terribly weird. One can find something suitable like a Fin du Monde, or a Golden Monkey. Try it once and you'll be hooked.

Tonight I spent my last money at Crafted. Despite a half dozen visiits, the kitchen and dining room just can't seem to get in sync with each other. The food is good enough to warrant making it a choice for local casual dining but it shouldn't take 40 minutes for entrees (the kitchen seems to always be backed up). The straw, for me, was that I ordered a slice of pie for a friend dining at the same time as me. Despite the fact that my server told his server AND 20 minutes lapsed, my guest left before his dessert arrived. The kitchen manager, who came to our table, copped a serious attitude when we explained the situation. His comment was , "And??" That was it. He eventually asked if we wanted the dessert ourself since they would simply toss it. I was refunded by the waitress (who was very sweet and obviously felt awkward over the manager's attitude). During my last visit we were a party of six and one entry took 55 minutes to be served. Lots of apologies but no one to hand walk the situation to a rapid solution. Bye, Crafted. I will take my $125.00 somewhere else.

Fantastic!!!! The Cottage Pie was delish! We also had the Crafted wings which were outstanding and very different than any others we've tried. Try The Spicy Brownie, it had just a little kick. The guitarist on the patio was wonderfully entertaining. Great food, great service, great entertainment! We didn't want to leave!

Final visit. Tried giving them one more chance but the service was once again some of the worst. In the past food had made up for service..not today. Medium burger came out well done with a burnt bun. Waitress could have cared less and had a real bad attitude. Executive Chef and General Manager Devon pretended to care and provided a fake smug apology. Gave us each a $25 gift card which we left on the table. Not worth coming back even for free. What a shame could be a great place.

Driving up to the strip mall, Crafted's sign stood out from the others--simple, yet trendy, all at the same time. Inside you get an industrial vibe, which is attributable to the solitary bulb pendant lights, wood plank-lined walls, and ceramic or porcelain "wood" tile floors. A good playlist was in the background and set at a good volume--so far, so good. We were seated in a booth and the hostess gave us food and drink menus. There were a handful of mid-to-high priced cocktails, along with a long list of draughts that included some ales and ciders. It was a pretty impressive list. The food menu was also pretty varied. I found myself having difficulty choosing because there were at least four dishes that caught my eye. Unfortunately, although the restaurant was far from busy, we waited a bit before getting service. In fact, after about five minutes, we had to stare down the manager -- who seemed to be engrossed in conversation with a patron at the bar -- before he noticed us sitting there and tried to figure out who would be waiting on us. After some discussions with two or three different servers, one was finally sent over. By this time we already knew what we wanted to order. My dinner companion opted for a chicken caprese sandwich whose description looked delicious and was one that I had considered. But I opted instead for the bacon-wrapped meatloaf with white cheddar mac and cheese. I had them hold the collards and the gravy and asked for a pomegranate aioli (from another dish) on the side. The drinks came out quickly. Mine was strong, but sweet, and garnished nicely. They packed the ice in the tall, thin glass, which I guess was to skimp on how much was served. Nevertheless, it was well-mixed and tasted good. The food came out after not too much time. However, my companion wasn't offered condiments for his fries, and the aioli I ordered wasn't sent out either, though our server wrote it down and repeated it back to me when he took our order. Again, it took a bit to catch our server's attention, who retreated to the kitchen and brought the gravy I had specifically asked to hold--womp, womp. We had to ask for catsup and for the aioli. He came back with the catsup, but had no idea what aioli I was talking about, although it was the only one on the menu. A little tip--if you arent familiar with the menu and a customer asks for something different than what the meal already comes with, be humble and confirm what it is the customer wants--it avoids you showing your ignorance after making it seem that you knew what you were doing. The service hiccoughs aside, the food was really good and flavorful. The portions were not excessive. The plating could use some help though--as the mac and cheese (very tasty) was kinda haphazardly strewn on the plate. The meatloaf was a tad dry, but tasted good and the aioli was awesome. My dinner companion sampled it and it would be a great thing to pair with the fries. I followed my berry vodka drink with a blackberry cider that was on draught--it was berry, berry good. Overall, the ambiance and food were great. The service definitely needs improvement and the plating could be more polished so that things look as good as they taste. It might help to have someone who is type-A come by and give some pointers on these little details. It would certainly help make the dining experience go from so-so to whoa.

This restaurant is very close to my home and I watched with anticipation for it to open. I have been several times in the last few weeks. There were some problems at first with both the food and the service, but the owners have worked to fix it. The burgers are great, the Florida Citrus Salad is a must and the desserts are to die for. I am not a beer drinker but the craft beer menu is impressive. The last two times I was there the service was excellent. I haven't been for Sunday brunch, yet, but the Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bars make it just a matter of time.

Had the deviled eggs to start. Delish! Bacon and a little heat. At the recommendation of the bartender, we had the mojo wings crispy. Very tasty on their own. No sauce served with them so we asked for blue cheese dressing. Oh my!!! Amazing. We split the block and blue burger, also. Wonderful atmosphere, clean lines and not over stuffed with tables. We ate at the bar. Bartender - Lindsay - very attentive, up beat, and helpful. Their best marketing weapon. Giving them 5 stars for Lindsay.

All the bartenders are super friendly with amazing personalitys, the bar has perfect lighting and about about 20 crafts beers on tap that change frequently not to mention tons of bottaled crafted beer. I got the pork belly as and apatizer and it melted in my mouth. l got ribs as my entrie and it felt like I spent the whole day smokeing them. I would highly recommend this place to eat out or to stop by after work to get something to drink.

I stopped by last night for a to go and was impressed even with their lemon sage chicken sandwich... We came in the very next day for Sunday brunch and it was probably the best two entrees I have had for brunch in years of going downtown for brunch. I had shrimp and grits and my friend had crab Benedict...both were spectacular. We also had amazing deviled eggs as an app with bloody Mary bar... Everything was fantastic... Really. Coming back for burger next time, but if you like good food... Go HERE! Service was great too.

I've been here twice now and absolutely love the place! Lola was very informative and helpful, and the food is fantastic! Decently priced, great atmosphere, easily one of my new favorite hang outs :) The Block and Bleu burger was well cooked and we'll presented. And tater tots? Yes please. Favorite appetizer goes to the cheese dip and the wedge salad is one of the best I've had.

I've been back to this place 2-3 times after my initial visit because I really want this place to be good. It's close to my house, has good service...but it's just not very good food at all. The menu tries to be bold & different, but it ends up being bland and tasteless. All the meals my guests and I have had here really miss the mark. Maybe I'll come back in a few months to see if they've found the salt shaker (because it's very lacking) but it won't be very soon. The only reason for 3 stars is that I've been impressed with the service on each visit.

Stopped by for dinner on Saturday and had dinner on the patio. Was a wonderful evening to sit outside and enjoy a great meal with the family. We had the steak sandwich, steak dinner and a fantastic meatloaf wrapped in bacon. In addition to the food being excellent the staff and waiter were outstanding. John our waiter did a great job. I will definitely be back soon to try another one of their fine entrees. If your in the area you really need to check this place out. You will not regret it and like myself I am sure you will become a return customer.

If you're wondering if you should check this place out, the answer is yes. Heard about this place through some friends and decided to come check it out. Atmosphere - super laid back, modern and rustic at the same time. Great to come for drinks after work (FANTASTIC drink specials after 11) and classy enough to bring someone out on a date to. It's somewhere I would be spending a lot more time at. It's not a "bar" .. It's a mix of relaxed restaurant. They had games on big tvs but no tv sound which was great!. You can see some game but not be consumed which we liked. Staff - knowledgable, fun, & welcoming. Attentive without being overbearing which is something I value in hospitality. Drinks - I don't even know where to start.. Drafts, bottles, crafts, beerology, mixology.. This place has quite a variety for any taste. Mix the selections provided with the servers knowledge of the product= no way you can go wrong. Food - eat it. It's all great so far. The farmer'a burger and the pub burger are delicious. Artisanal cheese dip was on point, rich, and fresh. Chicken wings and fingers were delicious. Totchos were fabulous. Instead of bacon on these tots, it was pork belly.. Perfectly cooked pork belly. Crunchy happy inside melty pork belly. Not too crowded and I can only hope more locals find this gem. My friends and I loved it and hope all who come love it too.

Orlando is really expanding into a foodie town. Not only are the Culinary Institute of American army of young chefs flocking to Winter Park, Mills 50, Milk District and East End Market, it would seem that a culinary mind would lay claim to Crafted Block and Brew in Metrowest. Metrowest? Is that a foodie destination? Well if it wasn't, it might be now. The brilliant minds at Crafted Block and Brew took a long forgotten empty corner space, in a still thriving plaza anchored by Publix Supermarket and transformed it into a Brooklynesque yuppie joint. I mean yuppie in a good way. Do we really want another old school restaurant who is trying extremely hard to recreate another country's decor and ambiance? Heck no. It is our time. Good ole American time. The USA food scene is as vibrant as any other country. We are blazing a trail of resurgence with our own style and finesse taking influences from our heritage and deliberate lifestyle. This is what Crafted has embraced. The restaurant occupies a corner space with wrap around covered patio. Outdoor tables and chairs are spaced with ample room to move around. Smoking and pets are allowed. Hurray! Large glass windows surround the restaurant that allows gorgeous Florida sunlight to brighten and dazzle. No shady mood lighting here. The interior is a large open concept anchored by a bar in the middle. Bar chairs allow for easy interacting. You don't really need company to go here. Saddle up to the bar alone and make friends or dine alone, your preference. There are high tops, swanky white leather booths and regular height tables. The ceiling is exposed and painted white. I know you've seen the black ceilings that creates the cavernous or clubby look. Imagine a white ceiling that makes the space appear five times higher. Warm wood tones that appear as old reclaimed barn wood make pronounce statements throughout the space. I winch at the next sentence. Read and forget if it bothers you. There are a gazillion TV screens surrounding the walls and bar, playing sports. The whole artisan movement got a sports twist. Rant over. One glimpse of the menu suggest there is some culinary pedigree present. Great descriptors salivate the glands to entice a visit. Enormous draft and bottled craft beer selections will have your head spinning. If you are not a small brimmed hat wearing, skinny jeans with hanging dog chain, or tribal tattooed cool draft beer aficionado not to worry. There is mainstream beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Even though the food reads fancy, look again, it's really simple food with a few little touches here and there to elevate the flavors. It's really approachable. Portion sizes are moderate. We played it safe on selections, new place and all. Visit my blog for food thoughts. Crafted Block and Brew is still a relatively new restaurant. It seems that it must be opened for a few weeks or so. As in every new opening, there are glitches. Steps of service and plating could use a little tightening. Nothing major. Everyone seems so tense. Loosen up, this is a restaurant where people come to enjoy time with friends and family. Your tenseness transfers. It's okay to laugh and that goes for all levels of service. This is a welcomed addition to Metrowest. It just goes to show that with a little vision and persuasion good restaurants can move out of the so called dining destinations. I'll be back to rock out that patio and dive into more craft beers, small brimmed hat and all.

Yesterday was our anniversary and in our usual fashion, my husband and I flew by the seat of our pants. We decided to we wanted to go somewhere for Brunch that wasn't a usual go-to for us (aka Audubon Park, Winter Park, Baldwin Park...basically any of the parks...). I heard Crafted was a good atmosphere and the food was better than expected. As soon as I walked in, I knew Crafted was going to be a hit for both of us. The decor, the feel, the service we experienced was well noticed. The fact that Crafted offers a Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar with the works was the cherry on top. They don't skimp on the choices for your Bloody Mary or Mimosa either. There were about 8 different juices to choose from and the accoutrements for the BM included bacon salt, old bay, pickled carrots, pickled okra and a variety of choices. The brunch menu was not scarce and the choices all sounded great. We started off with the black pepper biscuits that had a refreshing orange honey butter to accompany. The portions were big for the price ($3.50 for three). I was between the Crab Benedict or the Chicken and Waffles. Actually, I was between those two, the french toast, and the pancakes. That's a whole different story, though. Since it was our anniversary, I told my husband to choose for me as I trusted his instinct. He ended up ordering me the Chicken and Waffles. Good choice, husband. Good choice. My husband chose the Stouted Corned Beef Hash & Eggs. I had a bite...it was pretty freaking delicious. I'm pretty biased when it comes to brunch and if it's not good I'll immediately brush it off. Many a brunch place has made my "list" and I haven't been able to forgive for the mistakes (i.e.: a certain place that shall remain unnamed but once served me eggs with the shell in it and a mimosa with a fly in it...in the Ivanhoe area...ahem). The only complaint I had about Crafted is that it is all the way out in Metrowest. But, maybe that's a good thing because I won't spend all my money there every weekend. Who knows...hopefully they'll open a location closer to the downtown area. Either way. It's a great spot. Here's the brunch menu for anyone who is interested: drive.google.com/file/d/…

Very nice atmosphere, reasonable pricing, food taste great. The only issue is Sunday they only have Brunch menu until 3:00pm, and the chairs are a bit uncomfortable for outside seating. I would recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and drinks. Service is a tad slow but I actually enjoyed not being rushed. We sat outside and had plenty of time to chat and enjoy our drinks. I had the farmers burger and it was very good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. Glad to see new places around Metrowest. I will definitely come back!!

Good craft beer choices and a high quality simple menu. Chicken Caprese was great and the extra aioli made it what I wanted. Nice atmosphere and nice staff. I'll be back!!!

Crafted Brunch did not disappoint. I've been here for dinner before & was underwhelmed but I am a sucker for brunch so had to try. There are many different options from savory to sweet. They also have mimosas and a bloody bar. We got the bananas foster french toast, corn beef & hash with eggs and crab cake benedict. The corn beef and hash was a layered bed of hash browns, thick slab of corned beefed topped with an egg. The French toast was decent. The crab cake benedict started with a fried green tomato, fried crab cake which was topped with a spicy hollandaise. This came out a little cold and I would suggest some greens on the plate like sprout garnish but overall the meals were tasty & well constructed. Would recommend this place for brunch. Cheers!

Being a non chain restaurant in a town that's lousy with 'em ain't easy and it's even harder to do well. I think this place is a welcome addition to the non-chain food desert that has become Orlando and the Metrowest area. The service is good. The food is good and I think it's going to only get better with time. I had the Greek Salmon Salad and thought that it was quite nice and a very nice sized portion. I also had the Ommegang ale and I have to say that it was damn good. Looking forward to coming back for brunch b/c the menu looks adventurous and gives a nice selection of all that we've come to know and love about Sunday brunch...good food, good atmosphere and a strong Bloody Mary.

still some kinks to work out, but food is original, many craft offerings. would like to see more wines by the glass, but I definitely think this place was needed in the area. Now I have a place to go while traffic clears at 5 =)

Don't get the Garlic Herb Chicken! Not worth the price and very bland, but other menu items are great. The staff never seems to have their wits about them. The bartender took our order then came back later and asked again what we wanted order. But thank goodness for John the front line bartender and Lionel the manager to the rescue. Thank you!

Stopped in for the first time just to get a beer and surprisly had an outstanding experience. Our server, John, by far, gave us the most pleasant experience we've had in a long time. (means a lot coming from two restauranteurs). He carried a very confident demeanor and was genuinely enthused with what his restaurant had to offer. He represented the establishment very well. He was very knowledgeable, introducing us to the many features the restaurant had to offer and making recommendations of multiple favored items. We sampled the dry rubbed Wings and found it was a little lacking in a flavor but was quickly remedied with their house made green-goddess sauce which can be compared to a hidden Valley Ranch and laced with crack. To compliment the attnetive service, a spicy chili Ancho brownie was suggested, served a la mode and was just... WOW. this is a must try item. what a win on so many levels. Pure genius. Glad to see this type of restaurant in our neighborhood and I will surely be back to experience everything it has to offer. I am looking forward to see this place flourish.

I saw this place under construction for some time being that my vet's office is next door. I couldn't wait for it to open. My experience was just what I had hoped it would be. They have a great selection of craft beers and good food. Plenty of TVs and roomy seating.

This place is sadly so disappointing. The beer selection looks great and the look is very promising but as soon as you sit down you realize it's just another chain restaurant trying to look like more than it is. We were told the cheese dip was amazing so we ordered that and that was a awful. Extremely greasy crisps to dip in to what seems like a hot Boursin cheese mousse, really so unappealing. Then we did have the farm egg burger which wasn't bad. The only happy hour specials are for drinks not any food items. It seems like their menu is lacking a lot. Our server was very pleasant and happy to chat. I feel like overall this place will not last and sad to see that.

Decided to check this place out recently on a tuesday night. There's plenty of places in the area with great taco tuesday deals but I got the feeling to try something different. Had only been here once before on a wednesday or thursday night I believe it was and just had some of the craft beer they had on tap during this particular occasion. First of all I had to try and get to Crafted a little earlier than the other places because for whatever reason their tuesday special only goes until 10pm.. when they stay open and serve food up until 1 or 2am I believe. Tried the $1.79 street tacos that they advertise as the food special of the night and thought they were just meh, and nothing special. Also ordered their $3.50 Jose Cuervo margarita and it was awful! Tasted like some pre-made syrupy mix that was just wayyy too sweet and sour. I told the girl working behind the bar how I make them because I'm a bartender myself(tequila, triple sec, sour mix, splash of OJ, shake with ice, serve with ice in a glass with salted rim, garnish with lime wedge), so she said she would try something different but my 2nd one came out just as bad. Hard to believe someone could mess up so bad on such a simple drink. Decided after the 2nd bad margarita that I would just switch to beer. After ordering my beer it took a while to receive it because the bartender forgot about me I guess. By this time it was closer to 11pm and the bar was still a little busy. There were 2 people working the bar when I first got there a little after 9. For whatever reason 1 of them left early even while the bar was still pretty full and the only bartender remaining could not handle it all herself. My friend and I felt like we were getting ignored during the rest of our time there because she also forgot his drink after finally flagging her down at one point. Thought about maybe giving this place one more shot and trying their monday slider special but I will probably just pass and go somewhere else.

Mixed experience. New concept and a fresh option in Metro West. Very much a void has been filled. Arrived late evening after the main rush. Drove by and saw the new place. Decided to risk it. Service was ok. The runners and servers were out of sync. Food not cooked to temperature. Server said "I'm sorry" way too many times. Not for one thing but many. Maybe with age it will get better. Looking forward to a better experience.

I absolutely loved this place. I so happened to have gone on a rainy day...So there wasnt many people; which made the staff super attentive. Not saying that they wouldnt have been anyway. I was overwhelmed by the craft beer choices. I didnt know what to pick but the server was super helpful. This restaurant is really cute and comfortable. I loved the booths. On to the good part.....The drinks were great. I tried one of the beers and one of the cocktails both were amazing. The food was also "crafted". I had the salmon salad. The size of the salmon on this salad was huge. I was not expecting the size. This salad had caper, roasted red peppers and feta ....Im sure there was more but thats all i can think of ...but it was absolutely amazing....OMG...I even tried to re-create at home....I think I'll leave it to the professionals. My friend had the stuffed chicken....again an amazing entree. The chicken was stuffed with spinach with a feta cream sauce...WHATTTT !!! incredible. The mashed potatoes were fresh....not the powdered potatoes. ....Great place! Great food! Great location....I cannot wait to return. Oh...the prices were reasonable. My salad was $14 and so was the stuffed chicken....so not bad at all

Metrowest has a craft beer / pub joint! Outstanding. i'm writing this review before getting my wings so its just based on ambiance, amenities and the beer. Snappy wifi, tremendous beer choice for metrowest. nice comfortable tables/seating. Very different from the Pour House a few doors down. More upscale. right across the street from Metrowest golf course. This area has just gotten much more appealing.

I heard great things about Crafted. If first impressions mean anything the restaurant design looks perfect for a gastropub. However the server who greeted us at the door was unhappy and darn right unpleasant. It appears she was training a new server so I hold no hope for this portion of the experience. The bartender took our order and was matter of fact. No welcome just asked to take our order. A manager came and went several times through a door we were seated at with not a hello. 12 guests in the restaurant at 1 pm. A plus they had Goose Island Sophie a new favorite. No offer of water. Condiment holder not refreshed. Bottles of Tabasco half full as were salt and pepper shakers and sugar holder. Televisions obviously had been tuned to Sunday sports but not revised for a Monday, now showing made for TV movie on TNT. ESPN would be a smart programming choice. Good presented well and tasty. Corned beef delicious however could have been trimmed better with too much fat. Burger was good and turkey wrap was good. Pasta salad excellent. Servers carried on a nice conversation at hostess stand. Bartender checked in on us and was nice. For a new spot you would think they would go out of their way to make you feel special. Food a 6 service a 6. Plaid shirt manager with sleeves rolled up Zero. Restaurant design 10. Service standards 5. Server with glasses and hair in a bun training you'd better assign someone else to train new staff, Zero. Likely to return?????

My wife and I ate here twice, since it opened. Every time has been delish. I have to give props to the PBLT, which is made up of pork belly, a gourmet burger patty, lettuce, and tomato. Filling, but great! The tater tots are perfect. The drink menu, made up of mostly craft beers, has great options for even the pickiest beer snob. I recommend this place for those looking for some great pub food, atmosphere, service, and drinks! Glad to have it down the street.

I was impressed with the knowledge of beers by our server and I enjoyed our food. Ambiance is cool and it's near where I live so I will be returning with more friends soon. Its price-point maybe a bit higher than expected is the only draw back.

I don't see how people can like this place. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and the food took forever! The people on the next table who sat down probably 5 mins prior to us had already paid their bill before we even saw our food. What's worse, the waiter and then the manager were not even apologetic. Lastly, the food was ordinary at best

This is a very welcome restaurant to an area lacking in many (good) options. They did a great job with the overall look and feel of this place. I ate there on a weeknight with a buddy of mine and we sat outside. It wasn't particularly busy so we were seated right away. Our server was great and very knowledgeable about the food and beer offerings, but the service was a bit slow if I'm being honest. I had the pork tacos which were quite good, and my buddy liked his chicken dish. Oh if you're prone to cold bring a sweater as they crank that A/C down! Over all I would recommend this place.

Been here a couple of times and both times have been great. The first time our serve was Joel and the food was good, both the Drunken Steak and Burgers. The beer selection is great and the food unique. The tables are big and the booths very nice however there is a lot of space to and you never feel cramped in. I will be going back again and again for sure.

I tried this restaurant today with great hopes but I was pretty disappointed because Of the taste and quality of the food. The first challenge was that the menu was very limited for a Saturday and we were told the menu is changing as of today. So we ordered off of the lunch menu and we began with the totchos and the mojo wings. The totchos were not good at all, they were very bland and barely had any "pork belly" in the dish. Also the wings were bland and needed some injection of flavor in them, however if you dip them in ranch they become edible. Now the main dish was the farmhouse burger and I ordered the burger "medium" however the burger came to me "well done". The burger lacked salt, pepper and flavor, plus it needed a large amount of mayo to become edible. I won't be visiting this restaurant again....

I was really excited about this place opening up because my husband and I love craft beer....but after going I don't think we would go back or at least not anytime soon. When we first sat down we didn't know what beer we wanted so the server gave us sometime to look at the beer menu...He said he was going to get me a glass of water while we looked over the menu....The server disappeared for 15 minutes. ...When he got back he said that he got caught up with something and that he thought another server came to take our orders. My husband and I ordered a couple of beers...When I got my beer after taking a sip I noticed my glass had a huge chip in the rim of the glass...I showed it to the server and he apologized and brought me a new beer. I took one sip of the new beer again I noticed this glass had a chip in the rim of the glass as well!! I'm glad I noticed it both times or I would have cut my lip!! I showed the server again...again he apologized and brought me a new beer. At no time we were sitting there did a manger come over to apologize or offer to buy me my drink. It's extremely disappointing that they think it's no big deal to serve guests glasses with chips in the rims not once but 2 times!!

Finding a place where we can all eat nearby our office is priceless. Rarely do we all agree that a place is terrific, but we all loved Crafted. Raves about the grilled salmon salad, tenderloin salad, lemon sage chicken sandwich and the Caprese salad from all around the table. We were told that they cut their own fish filets daily and the veggies, too, were very fresh. The iced tea was good, but we didn't sample the beer (however the beer menu looked very Craft beer-oriented which is fine by me - Sweetwater, Bell's, etc.). The decor is sleek and modern - uses a lot of beer cask wood that been repurposed into a wall covering. I was very comfortable in a large side booth. They weren't very crowded at lunch; service was just a little slow, but that's okay for the quality of food. It takes a little time to make great salads and sandwiches. Servers were exceptionally friendly and knowledgable about their cuisine and beer. I'll be back for lunch and quite possibly, dinner too.

Great, knowledgable bar staff. Awesome draft list & hand crafted cocktail list. Food was great, I had a farmer burger & my friend had the pork chop. Both dishes were incredible. The horseradish dressing I had on my salad was very good. Will definitely go back.

Brunch today, crab benedict great idea and well executed. Stout corned beef hash and eggs really good.

Go for the beer. Food is decent but the food is SLOW...SLOW. It's quicker to go to Publix and bring the sub back. Once the food arrives it's really good. The Steak sandwich is yummy, the horseradish sauce was excellent. They have a great selection of beer from all over. I was sort of expecting some more 'out there' beers as some of the ones they offer are rather domesticated. Big props for having 471 from Breckinridge Brewery.

A great place for Sunday brunch or to watch the game. Huge selection of beers and wine and a great menu to go along with it. The prices are perfect for the amount and quality of food. We had burgers and wings and have nothing negative to say about either. The burgers are perfectly cooked to a nice medium leaving them super juicy when you bite into it. The wings are grilled with a delicious rube making them way easier to eat than your typical hand tossed bar wings. This was a great and much needed add to Metro West.

I have gone twice to Crafted now and have been impressed both times. I love the look of the restaurant. It is laid out well and has a casual yet classy feel. There is also outdoor seating that is pet friendly. The service has been fantastic both times, and employees seemed genuinely interested in what we thought about different menu items. The first time I went I had the Artisanal Cheese Dip as an appetizer, a Crafted Burger, and the Black Cherry Cheesecake. The cheese dip was unbelievable! It is a must-have. The burger was so much better than other burgers. The combination of meats gives a much richer flavor that was great. If you like cheesecake, the black cherry cheesecake is delicious! It's creamy and flavorful. The second time we went we again had the Artisanal Cheese Dip (again, it's a must-have), but this time I had the Chicken Caprese sandwich. SO GOOD! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and this sandwich might have become my go-to sandwich for future visits. The menu is unique and has something for everyone. A friend thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian sandwich and was pleased that there were options for vegetarians. I am not a beer drinker, but they have an extensive crafted beer menu, as well as wines and a full bar. Crafted will be a regular restaurant choice for us and is a great addition to the MetroWest area!

You have to see it to believe it. This western atmosphere added with the southern hospitality and charm, gave me the impression of being in a John Wayne movie. I tried a few of the brews, but being a IPA kinda guy, loved the Dog Fish Head! The food was extraordinaire! The wife had a salad, no complaints from her, so it must have been good. I had to try the burger with the egg. I think it was called the farm or farmer, something like that. OMG, It was sooooo good. I was told by another customer to try the drunken steak with mashed potatoes, he said it was the best. I will be trying it next time. The wife and I got the brownie for desert. After about two bites, I was full, but ended up eating the whole thing because it was so good. We live in Miami, and travel to Orlando quite a bit. Forget Disney, I can't wait to go to this place again!

We decided to try this place out for lunch today and I wasent impressed. It was quite and they just opened so we sat at the bar and the bartender was nice and we chatted a bit. Didn't ask on any recommendations for food but had read some reviews so I went with the chicken caprese sandwich and my boyfriend had a burger. The chicken caprese sandwich was horrible. My bun was charred all around the edges, the chicken was rubbery and could hardly bite into it. I tried to eat it as a sandwich and it all fell apart and needless to say the balsamic glaze was the best part. The tator tots were average, they weren't hot so probably sat awhile. The waitstaff were all men. This place's food sucked along with there customer service. Good beer =bad everything else. $$$

We were so happy to have a craft pub move in the neighborhood. The food is very tasty, love the moho wings. Unfortunately the service is very poor. We keep hoping it's because they are new but it does not appear to be getting any better. Whether it weeknights when it's pretty empty or Sunday brunch the service is quite poor.

This place is awesome! It's only been around for maybe 2 months but it's easily one of the best places you can eat and drink at in the Metro West area. You can't beat the prices either when it comes to the quality that you get. This place is still very much a hidden gem, really hope word gets out there about this place with it's amazing food. Also the craft beer here really tops the charts if you like or enjoy beer at all then this is definitely a place you must check out! And again I almost forgot to mention the service was outstanding everyone from the host to the server to the owner himself were all very friendly and inviting I'll definitely be coming back often!

Great experiences here both times I've gone. The food's really good, the service is great and the beer selection is rock solid. As a football fan, I much prefer going here to watch the game(s) and get a burger over Teak, which often gets noisy and has slow service. Very happy to have this place in our neighborhood!

Went to Crafted for first time tonight with several recommendations to try it. The food was really very good. I was also there to try several crated beers. Unfortunately they were out of 3 out of 6 that I ordered. If you can't keep the beers on your list stocked, then print menus regularly of beers you actually have. I will try again, but if they fail to have beers I won't return.

Decided to visit this place and it was a very nice choice! The ambiance is relaxed and the decor is simple and nice! Had the tater tots with pork belly. Very good! Followed by a beef sandwich, which had a nice flavor but the chunks of beef were a bit large to my taste. Ended with a delicious chipotle chocolate brownie. Definetely will come back and try more stuff from their menu.

Metro West certainly needs another good hang out. I've been 5 times since they opened in August. I love to sit at the bar-great drinks and beer/wine selection, and the bartenders are quick and friendly. I have eaten 3 times during my visits. 2 dinner and 1 brunch. Each time the food has left me wishing it had tasted better. Chicken Caprese sandwich fell apart and not much pesto flavor, Artisnal cheese dip was bland except for the tomato jam on top, Sweet and Spicy Chicken Tenders were very dark and very crunchy (fried too long?), Biscuits for brunch fell apart into crumbs. Living close by, I expect to be back often for drinks and happy hour. I'm very disappointed that the comments coming from Crafted on Yelper's reviews sound like an attack on the reviewer. My 25 years of successful Customer Service Management make me shake my head and wonder who is writing them. I'm hoping it's not coming from an in-house manager, otherwise I will not be back.

Nothing but absolute class and catering to the clientele! We have been there a few times to try a different dish each time and have not been disappointed once. We ordered to-go tonight and upon picking our food up, decided to stay and dine in. Instead of merely "plating" our food, the entire meal was re-made from scratch, to ensure top quality. All I can say is WOW. Crafted is exactly what this area was lacking. The attention to detail, service and quality is one that is rare and unparalleled. From the delicious food to the obviously hand-picked staff, I am thoroughly impressed. I will absolutely be back...many times!!
