Strawberry field salad was yummy. I had them add chicken for protein. Drinks were delicious and the price was right.

LOVE the bar, not impressed with the restaurant. I have been here more often than I should admit while waiting on the Sunrail and had a drink. However recently the hus and I had apps here after Martinifest at Elixir (FUN!) and I ordered the laoded perogies (twice) and they weren't great. The first time they arrived almost ice cold. The cheese had not even melted. The second time, after another lenghtly wait, they were barely lukewarm (again the cheese had not melted) Boo, I don't give restaurants a second changce, too many others to try. On a positive note, they did comp them.

Good enough place to stop in for drinks. We ordered food, and then the server came back over to say they were out of pretty much everything we ordered. Hmmm. It is also incredibly brightly lit, and there didn't seem to be too much going on when we stopped in. It's in a spot that seems to be cursed, I don't think I've seen a bar last more than a few months here. They may want to stock up a bit more and work on the ambiance if they want to make it.

really wanted to like this place. the drinks were ok. i like that they have $2 train shots. the food was totally mediocre. pierogis were not as described and were lame with the amount of meat/spice. the fries were over crispy. the buttermilk chicken was OK only. the serive was meh. won't be going back.

I'm so happy to have a new restaurant in downtown Orlando for lunch. It's a beautiful restaurant - lots of old history from the good 'ol Church Street days. The staff was very friendly and it was nice to be able to sit outside. On my first visit, there were only select menu items available. I was disappointed that I was unable to try the pierogis. However, my shrimp/avocado sandwich more then made up for my disappointment. And the french fries! They are DAMN GOOD!! The second time, it was pierogi time! They were out of the loaded potato, so I went with the Buffalo Chicken pierogi - a flavor I've never had before! It was great! I was a little disappointed to learn that one portion only came with 3 - I was expecting something like 5. But they were really good. I will be back to try more of the flavors! You could just tell the difference between homemade and frozen store-bought pierogis. I once again had the shrimp/avocado sandwich and it didn't disappoint...again. Both times someone I was with had the meatloaf which looked amazing. But it also looks like too much food for me at lunchtime. This is a great spot with great staff and great food. I can't wait to go back and try some drinks!

So excited this place finally opened! The kielbasa sliders, the Beast, and the short rib pierogis were all amazing. Good service, too.

Finally a friendly downtown tavern with engaging staff, incredible food, beer, and wine. Everything on the menu sounds delicious, will be back to try more.

What an awesome place to watch a Steelers game! Their version of the Primanti Brothers sandwich was very good. The staff were attentive even though there was standing room only. We would definitely go back!

Stopped here for lunch. Greeted warmly and promptly! Waitress was cheerful and knowledgable about menu options. Food was pretty good. I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Slightly over fried but still tasty. My companion had the roast beef Beast. Good sandwich but could use more meat in comparison with all the stuff they put on it. I will be back!!

So I've been wanting to try this place after I saw the menu and reviews online. Today was the day! We walk over andI I immediately notice the crowds of yellow and black jerseys...yes, this is truly a steelers bar, which is fine since I could care less about watching football. Rest assured, there are plenty of tv's around if you want to watch. I ordered a bloody Mary to start and it was ehhh, a bit to much bm mix, but I didn't say anything. Then it was time to order appetizers, which were already mentally picked out before I got there..."we'll have the Kielbasa sliders and Short rib perogies". The waitress says, we're known for the buffalo chicken perogies, so I said that we'll have that instead. She then comes back to the table and says that she's sorry, but they ran out. Well this is a bummer, lol. She says to get the cheesesteak perogies, so we went ahead and ordered that. The kielbasa sliders (3) came out and they were delicious - kielbasas cut in half served slider style with caramelized onions on buttery toasted bread with a grain mustard spread. Round 1, I was happy. The cheesesteak perogies (3) were next and they come out with sautéed onion and red peppers. The meat inside was tasty, but it seemed to be lacking another flavor, preferably a sauce....even a sour cream could have worked. I just wasn't impressed. Round 2, Ok. We were told the most ordered sandwich was The Beast, famous in Pittsburgh. By the sound of it, we knew we'd be fine if we split this one last thing. It's loaded with provolone cheese, oil and vinegar coselaw, tomatoes and choice of meat and we got turkey AND bacon. It comes out and I'm not visually enticed (which is surprising). After a bite, I knew I just wasn't a fan. It was so bland, the coleslaw had no taste, the bread was barely toasted and the fries were soggy :-/ the consistency just didn't work for me. And....I still thought it needed a sauce too. Round 3, not good. I didn't mean for this to be a harsh review, but reading it back, it seems to be. I actually would come back as sitting outside with great weather and people watching sets a a great atmosphere. I would also be open to trying different dishes and maybe even getting the sliders again :)

Biked here on a late Saturday afternoon. They have a nice indoor/outdoor space next to Hamburger Mary's. They had more staff than customers so the service was great. Had the Cheese Steak Pierogi's and the Kielbasa Sliders. Good snacks to go with the beers. A variety of beers on tap and in the bottle. Both were good-not great but good. Will give this place another try and checkout some more stuff.

Being a Steeler fan I have been wanting to try this restaurant out. It was smaller than I had expected so if you plan to go for a Steeler game, definitely get there early. It was great watching the Steeler game surrounded by Steeler fans. The service was great. I had the loaded potato pierogies which were fantastic, although I thought there would be more than 3. My husband wanted to have the City Chicken, but they were out of it. Instead he had the Pastrami Beast which he enjoyed. I do plan to return to try out other menu items.

Sitting here on a game day with incredibly slow service. They are out of the 2 biggest staples: Iron City and Potato Pierogis. Really? They are also out of Cheesesteak Pierogis and Cesar Salad. All 4 things we tried to order. Also the drinks are not too good...we had to send a "speciality cocktail" back. This place will make it through football season...and then be gone.

We stopped by for the first time the other day prior to a concert. I was surprisingly impressed by the food, service, and beer prices. We normally hit up a spot across the street but have lately been unimpressed. Anyway, we went to the Tavern and got the buffalo chicken pierogis, the buttermilk chicken sandwich, and a few beers. I was skeptical about the pierogis but they came out and were one of the best appetizers i've had in quite some time. They came out with a side of ranch and siracha mayonaise which was STRONG to say the least, but quite delicious. The buttermilk chicken sandwich was amazing. Lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. The fries rank among the top 5 i've every had. Their taste was good and the best part was the fact you didn't taste the fryer and whatever else has been cooked in their. Lastly, the beer. I just had a couple of domestics but they were cold, delicious, and inexpensive for downtown dining, the ultimate beer trifecta! Based on this experience, we will definitely be making return trips with friends before events at the Amway Center.

This place is amazing. I may not be a Steeler fan, but that does not matter. The food and the service is fantastic. The Chili is simply amazing. I had the Corn Beef Beast, so good I came back the next day to get it again. My Fiancé had the Buttermilk chicken sandwich back to back as well. This place is a must try. Located right next door to Hamburger Mary's

We have now visited this new restaurant two times. Our first visit was a few weeks ago for dinner and drinks. I delayed writing a review because at the time of my first visit the restaurant had not been open very long, and I wanted to give them a chance to work out the new restaurant bugs. We visited again last night, this time just for drinks. On the first visit, after placing our drink orders, the waitress came back and told us that they were out of the beer we ordered. We selected a different beer, and a few minutes later she came back and let us know that they were out of that one too. We ordered two different king of peirogis. The waitress came back a few minutes later and told us that they were out of one of the selections. So, we selected a different one. One order of peirogis were delivered to the table, and they were o.k.. We were a little disappointed in the quantity and flavor of the filling. The second order of the pierogis did not end up arriving until after the entrees. They were also only o.k.; nothing extraordinary. The waitress and manager at least did the right thing and offered to not charge us for the delayed order of pierogis. For entrees we ordered the buttermilk chicken, and the shrimp and avocado sandwich. The chicken was a good size breast, and tender. The breading could have used a little more flavor, but overall pretty good. The shrimp and avocado sandwich was good, but not great. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and apologetic for being out of so many items. Now to our second visit. Once again, out of two different beer selections. Also out of Captain Morgan and any other spiced rum! We also overheard another patron ordering something (different than us) and being told that they were out of that item. I don't know if we'll be going back, at least not for a while, so that maybe time will allow them to get their management together. The location is great, and the staff was friendly.
