Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

China Star was decent. I ordered General Tso's chicken with white meat for a $1 upcharge. The sauce is best described as garlicky-sweet. The chicken is fried in a tempura style, which is unique for General Tso's chicken. The eggroll was okay. Nothing spectacular. The fried rice lacked flavor. I used 3 packs of soy sauce to make it adequate. Now that I think about it: why do most places charge more for General Tso's chicken? It's made with dark meat, but it costs more than sweet & sour chicken, for example. But I digress... This place is okay. If I'm in the area I might try them again. But I won't go out of my way to come here.

The special fried rice is good and the general tso's is what I will normally find in Miami, but there chicken wings are awesome. This will be a default location when I get hungry.

It's my favorite Chinese Take-Out place. The restaurant itself is not much to look at - no decorations, no uniforms, no traditional Asian ambiance... But don't judge a book by its cover, because the food here is great! I have been coming to this place for 10 years and never had a complaint. They have never mixed up or messed up my order or overcharged me. Prices are average. You usually get something (soup etc.) free with orders over $25. The food has always been of really good quality and good flavor. And the best part is when I call in a take-out order, it's always ready and waits for me at the counter: hot, steamy, with sauces & chop sticks and very well packaged. Check it out, you won't be disappointed :)

Decent Chinese place. We found a place in Casselberry that we loved and we often rate others against it since we moved and this one is pretty good.

My favorite Chinese Restaurant! Never had a bad meal here! I love all of their dishes! They make the best Spring Rolls! Excellent General Tso's! Everything always tastes so fresh and delicious! The staff is always friendly and helpful! You can even request a dish that is not on the menu and they will make it for you! They are very accommodating and the food quality is excellent! I feel like I always get my money's worth!

I used to eat here all the time back in 2006, and it was always hot, fresh, and great tasting food. So when I was in the area recently I definitely had to stop in and see if it still held up. I went with my go to General Tso's Chicken and Fried Wontons. First I'll go over the wontons, They were fresh and extremely hot. You get 12 to and order and they serve it up with sweet and sour sauce. They had a nice balance of pork and veggie, and had the typical pork wonton flavor. So nothing special, but definitely worth ordering if you pork wonton fan. Now for The General, it was nice and hot with a crispy batter that held up quite well to the sauce. I was quite happy with the sauce, it had a nice balance between savory garlic flavor and sweet. I really hate when places make the sauce so sweet that it's like eating candy. The General was also served with pork fried rice, and I was pleased with it as well. The rice had a nice texture and wasn't overly greasy. It had plenty of pork nuggets which gave a great smoky flavor to the rice. Just a little review of the location itself. The girl behind the counter was delightful and very nice. The decor of the restaurant is simply a few tables (4 I think) and the counter. The dining area was clean, so I have no big concerns in that department. The only negative I could say is the location, it's not the best neighborhood to hang in. Overall China Star really held up to what I remembered. It's a definitely a hole in the wall and this probably causes people to dismiss it. If your in the area and are looking for some good Chinese food you should stop in and you won't be disappointed

Guess I'll be the contrarian to all of these other reviews. Restaurant seemed dirty, I almost didn't order. The kitchen seemed ok, but as you look around at the rest of the restaurant and dining area you can tell that clean up is not a priority. I also ordered General Tso's like many of the reviews. It seems a lot closer to Orange Chicken to me. A lot of citrus coming through without the other flavors that I typically enjoy. Batter is done perfectly. As others mention not too sweet. Overall, pretty lackluster experience. There's better options out there if you are ok to drive a little further.
