My daughter has been in the hospital for 3 weeks. Luckily, I found this place. It's my go to when I need to get away and have amazing food instead of hospital food. I highly recommend the goat cheese bruschetta and the buffalo chicken pizza - yum! Not only is the food great but so is the service. You cannot go wrong choosing Brick & Fire.

So delicious! The four cheese pizza is amazing! I like mine with extra basil and all you have to do is ask the cook to give you a little extra and he always does with a smile (and usually a joke). He's kind of like a mad scientist pizza maker. He likes to talk and sing to himself while he cooks and he's quite entertaining. He's certainly mastered the art/science of making pizza and appears to have fun while doing it. Staff is always friendly and casual.

LOVE this place! Awesome pizza and great wings. We have gone on practically a weekly basis since moving to the area. Pizza is best eaten in the restaurant, but that hasn't stopped us from ordering take-out on numerous occasions. We take all our visitors here for a great, local restaurant meal!

I love the pizza here but this place serves the best salad I've ever had eating out (the chicken pesto). The portion for this salad is giant. Easily enough for two people. I also like that they serve orlando brewing here and on Thursday nights ladies can order complimentary house wine. I recommend you try this place out sometime!

I'm from San Francisco & I KNOW pizza! Don't let the location fool you, this place is heaven at the end of the rainbow. The pizza is FANTASTIC! Joe is the man, he took care of us, he's very professional & the pizza he made was from scratch, I couldn't ask for more. Joe is the man!!!!! $

Get take out pizza from here a lot and it's always been good. Price is reasonable. Tried a pasta dish once and didn't care for it. Friendly staff. Glad to support a local place.

Really good pizza and they have a great lunch menu. I've had several pizza types and they have all been solid. Large slices, properly crispy crust, and fast, friendly service. You get your own drink at a fountain station so you can just get your own refills to your heart's content. Wednesdays is 50 cent wing day. Their wings are DRY so ask them to retoss them if you want them to have any sort of sauce on them at all. The wings are pretty big, but they're not very good. Very dry, outside and in. But for $5 you can get 10 of them and just deal with it.

The pizza here is too die for. I had the four mushroom pizza entree and my boyfriend had the cheese steak. Both were absolutely delicious. The crust is mixed with local beer hops and absolutely magical, definitely recommend with the Orlando Brewing Red Ale. If you're in the area, come here for pizza!

We had the Arugula salad and the Van Gogh Pizza. Both were delicious. The salad was all baby arugula, no other iceberg or other lettuce. They were nice enough to split an entree salad for us as an appetizer. The pizza was good, covered in mushrooms and had a nice smoky after taste from the Gouda.

One of the best crusts ever, and all their pizzas have amazing toppings. The Hawaiian is out of this world! Pulled pork and macadamia nuts?? The Girl and Fig is another of my favorites. Also, free wine for ladies on Thursdays! (Not just a free glass... but all the wine you can drink). Love this place.

Had 3 appetizers. Greek salad. Cesar salad. 1/2 dozen meatballs. Salads were ok nothing special. Meatballs not bad. Soft drinks were fountain soda which I think tastes awful. Funny they charge $2.75 for the drink but if you don't need to fill up on 2 or 3 drinks I think it's a bit pricey. I think one of the important features of good pizza is when you can pick it up, fold it , and eat it without using a fork and knife. Not a chance here. It was so soft it just flopped straight down. I thought the taste wasn't as good as I had hoped. Tasted oregano and garlic which people feel makes things authentic, but the sauce needs to be good which I feel this wasn't. No plans to go back.

I've read some good reviews about this place. Also some bad ones. I've never dined in but their takeout is awful. It took 2 hours. Cold pizza, nasty wings and too expensive. Delivered in a beat up old car with no business sign. Pizza was in the trunk and not in a sleeve! Nasty! Order was wrong to boot.

Yum-o! There crust is delicious. It is buttery, salty and garlicy. LOVE IT! I've been to the Winter Park location a bunch of times (though it's been awhile). I could be wrong, but I thought the menu was slightly different here. I got the c'est la vie. It was brie cheese, chicken and sun-dried cranberries (bet you thought I was going to say tomatoes). We also tried the parmesan chicken wings. They were awesome. The service was a little slow. We had sat down before three other tables and they all finished before we did (and there was only 2 of us). But when there was something in my beer as soon as I got it, they handled it well. Took it away and brought me a new one. That always gives you points.

This past Friday, I was looking for local pizza something fresh and homemade style. I found the perfect place! The chipotle barbecue chicken and alfredo chicken pizza were delicious. I decided to pick up and they missed my cheese bread order, they were very apologetic and offer us a drink on the house while we were waiting. The wait was not bad at all, i had a great conversation with one of the guys making the pizza about futbol-not soccer. Excellent service, the pizza was excellent, so happy i found this place!!

Amazing. I Had the peperoni and my wife had the chicken Alfredo. We split the garlic cheese bread. All was so good. We were expecting good food because the reviews but it was even better than we anticipated. I can't wait to return. A must try

Recommended by a friend. Definitely awesome pizza, no doubt about it. We got the brick and fire classic and the Hawaiian and both were phenomenal. This is far above average pizza. they even had some good beer selections tho I wasn't feeling beer at the time, I was still impressed to see some local beer on tap. I am sure we will be back in the future.

Brick & Fire is our go-to local restaurant. The pizzas are great and the wings are even better. Their garlic parmesan wings are the best you'll have. The wings are cooked crispy and the parmesan is plentiful. The prices for their pizzas are a bit higher than your local Pizza Hut but you get what you pay for and the appetizers and salads offer a great value.

Amazing! I had the four cheese lunch special! Yummy! The Caeser is SUPER THEY ARE NOT STINGY with the cheese or the salad! I went yesterday now I want more!!! Delivery for me tomorrow y'all. I wanna try the wings!

Brick and Fire was suggested by one I my fellow foodie friends and it certainly did not disappoint. We started with the Parmesan flatbread which was really tasty, and then followed with three different specialty pies: the Van Gogh, a c'est la vie, and a chicken pesto. All three were excellent choices but the Van Gogh was by far the best. For dessert we shared a small Nutella pizza which was super yummy. Overall the best part about Brick and Fire is their amazing crust. They have some of the best crust I have ever had - coming from a native New Yorker that is saying a lot.

GREAT PIZZA, but poor service. So bad that we had to go up to the front counter to get our bill bc 20 mins passed after we got our to go boxes and never brought us a bill. Also waitress never refilled our drinks during the entire meal. It's too bad bc we probably will not return due to the bad service even though the pizza was fantastic!

  • Julianne E.

Whoa! Goat cheese pizza=yum. The crust was crispy and cooked just right. They do serve your typical pizza but I wasn't about to pass this pizza up! They also make and sell their own pickles, which I thought was odd for a pizza joint. But they looked amazing and next time I hit this place up I'm buying some. We came in closer to closing time and the staff were still going strong. The waitress was super friendly, we didn't get that "ugh I just want to go home" attitude. They do serve a variety of beer and wines. Not too bad with the pricing. This is definitely a place worth trying out.

Yeah the Van Gogh pizza is definitely my favorite here. It's really delicious and the taste lingers in my mouth. I only gotten to know about this place when I was in the area and wanted to try out this place after spotting it. Service is great and the place is really nice.

Amazing pizza. Best pizza I've had in a long time. We went to Chicago and this pizza beats any pizza we ate there! Try the shrimp scampi, It's delicious! Also the Van Gogh was great as well! 10 stars!

Been walking to this place all weekend from Winnie Palmer Hospital. I have never had a better pie in Orlando! The 4 cheese, Bianca, 4 Meat, Carnivore, and Classic are great pies. I have not tried some of the more interesting pies but would be surprised if they are anything short of stellar. THE WINGS are fantastic. Close to a true buffalo style (my style). Gotta try the pasta too since it is very well made with a great red sauce (I had the baked ziti). Overall, I will continue to travel to this place since I don't live close because of the quality everything. Gotta check this place out!!!

I had a random craving for some chicken wings, but didn't feel like driving far and had always wanted to try this place since I drive past it almost daily. I called in the order and headed out to pick it up. When I walked in the door I was greeted by the hostess and also a man who was cooking pizzas. The vibe was extremely friendly and the employees seemed to truly appreciate my business. I was pleased with the order of chipotle BBQ wings, however I do wish I had stuck with the normal buffalo style sauce. While I did like the chipotle BBQ, it was a bit too sweet for my liking, and It seemed to have a strong tomato base. All in all I was very pleased with my meal, and the wings were reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning to try some pizza, it smelled delicious!

Really amazing crust and pizza toppings. Hand tossed dough made with local organic beer. Their salads are great too. Lots of gourmet ingredients... I give the food 5 stars. Minus 1 star for the meh decor. Super tasty and very casual. I hope this place stays open!

The food was amazing, as was the service! Definitely a local hangout. The outside is deceiving - it looks like an old Chinese restaurant. The inside ambience is nothing special but once you've been there a while and been greeted it doesn't matter anymore. The house salad is a must try!

Not many good places are open on a Sunday night at 930. We decided to give this place a second shot after having lunch there once and we were not disappointed. The food was AMAZING. I had the Feta and Vegetable pizza. Although the food took about 30 minutes the pizza was freshly made. They put generous amounts of veggies and a delicious sauce with an amazing flavor. One of the best pizzas in town HANDS down.

Really enjoyed this place. Its an old gutted pizza hut but doesn't feel like a pizza hut. The combo meals are where its at. The deals are plentiful and the food is excellent. We ordered the house specialty wings which are a pineapple bbq type of sauce and it was excellent. We also got the franks red hot inspired hot wings which were also good. Not big on heat and more on flavor. The pizza was excellent. We went is a peperoni and meatball and i must say it was well balanced and the cheese was creamy as could be. Also the cokes were the crispiest. Like they had installed brand new lines. Overall it was a fun night with great food and we will return without doubt.

Went during family vacation in Florida. Very good pizza, attentive staff and comfortable setting. Like the fact that the pizza is more of a NY or Jersey style.

Girl and Fig pizza is to die for....I am not a pizza lover by any means...but everytime was come to Orlando we make it a point to stop here since my hubby loves pizza. This is the only pizza place where I actually order the pizza and not look for anything else on the menu to order. Everything is made fresh and taste fresh. The crust is made with a house ale and it is amazing. We will definitely be back everytime we are in the area. Great wine selection, great service. We met the owner and he is a great guy, very customer oriented. Won me over!

Gave this neighborhood pizza a second shot and I am happy to report an upgrade to 3 Stars. As I stated before, the pizza's flavor is good. This time the pie was baked such that the dough had become crust and supported the toppings. As a side note, the service I had from the carry-out perspective was excellent. I will return.

The Van Gogh is a dream come true. Try it with steak and you'll think yourself in food heaven. I recommend starting with one of the house's killer appetizers, and finish the meal with the Nutella Pie. Best dessert you'll find anywhere near downtown.

Before you go become friends with them on Facebook they offer great specials. The one going on the last time I went was in was medium 4 topping pizza for $9.99 and is great for 2 people. The pizza is always fresh and they definitely don't skimp on toppings. I live really close and would be here a lot more if I wasn't watching what I eat. I usually don't like meatballs on pizza but the ones here are yummy.

Ate here the other night my my wife and daughter. They have a good selection of pizza's and pasta. Wife and I ordered and split two 8 inch pizzas. The Hawaiian was Killer, Pulled pork, Spicy red sauce, red onion and Macadamia nuts. Also had a 4 cheese as well. This was very rich and good. Daughter had the typical fare of Spaghetti and meatballs. Large adult portion that was very tasty! Service was great, drinks always filled. This is a nice place to take the family and relax after a crazy day at WDW! Prices are very affordable, location a little of the beaten path, however well worth it!

We moved down here from Iowa about a year ago and haven't found a really great pizza place. Brick and Fire seemed good and we'd never used them before. And we will never again. their food was sub-par and their customer service is horrible. We ordered out and when I answered the door the guy said immediately "you're out of our range and we wont be going this far again" He continued by blaming the young lady who took our order over the phone and then said "the only reason we even came was because they already started making the pies" I work at a restaurant myself and I would never talk to a paying customer that way. I sent an email to the manager that we were upset and wouldn't be returning and still haven't heard back...clearly they don't care bout their food (pizza was gross) or their clientele.

Very good pizza! Not greasy like some of the other local spots. The pasta dishes are great, too. Affordable drink prices, too. The food is a higher quality than you would expect by the prices. Give it a shot!

We just visited this place only becuse it was right next door to my sons doctor and he arrived early so we went next door and the salads are so good we had the warm chicken salad and pizza and everything was very good. I will go back when I have more time to enjoy dinner.

This pizza is excellent! A nice change up from a typical NY style pizza that everyone strives to offer, but it is on the heavy side. One thing that stuck out immediately was the quality of the mozzarella cheese on this pizza. It has that thick, gooey consistency that has you looking forward to each bite. The crust is buttery and golden brown. Definitely one of the freshest, tastiest pizzas in town.

Great wings, DELICIOUS pizzas. And they deliver! Forget the big pizza chains, go with Brick and Fire!

Moving B&F up to five stars. Their consistency in serving great pizza is a welcome relief from the many inconsistent casual restaurants in the city. This has now become my favorite pizza restaurant!

    (5)
  • Hayla J.

Definitely good pizza, and very reasonably priced glasses of wine. The boyfriend & I have eaten there twice and enjoyed it both times. The place has a casual, neighborhood pizza joint atmosphere - not at all stuffy. My only suggestion for them would be to seat more tables in the lower level & against the windows instead of putting everyone in the tables next to the kitchen.

  • Jaspreet S.

This was not brick oven pizza. It was Pizza Hut quality pizza - not worth more than two stars. You can find much better pizza in the Orlando suburbs. The only reason I am giving these guys a generous 2 stars was the waitresses were nice and I have a soft spot for low wage service sector workers. Otherwise, don't waste your time or money at this place

"I don't want to cook anything tonight. I am still not used to electric stove tops." Those were the words that led us to this spot, housed in what appeared to be a former Pizza Hut (what a change for the better!). Aside from my one complaint, that they use a bit too much cheese for my taste--Cheese on cheese anyone?--this place has it down. Great flavors, fantastic thick, but not hard crust. Their bruschetta is awesome. Instead of the usual soggy mess of uncooked tomatoes and olive oil, they slather on goat cheese, artichoke hearts, marinated red peppers, and some balsamic reduction that I am convinced is a new form of addictive drug. Their pizza is not to shabby either. We shared a couple of personal pizzas: the shrimp scampi is VERY rich, but really good, and the bbq chicken pizza is pretty perfect with a little bit of sweet bbq sauce and really nice chunks of white meat chicken. They have decent $4 glasses of wine and their servers are super-friendly. I will definitely be back to try that much-touted nutella desert pizza if I can manage to save any room!

I had high hopes for the pizza here. It's in the neighborhood and the reviews looked solid. Unfortunately, this pizza was a gloppy mess. The cheese was greasy and excessive. It overwhelmed any flavor from the chicken, roasted red peppers and mushrooms. The bright spot is the crust. It was crusty and delicious. If only they could balance out the other ingredients.

Tonight was my first experience with Brick and Fire MPX at the Apopka Food Truck Roundup. I have been going to this Food Truck round up since it began in August. This is the most poorly run truck I have seen there. I arrived at 6:45 and put my son in line. I went through the line at Monsta Lobsta and met my son back at the Brick and Fire truck where he was still waiting and we reached the front of the line at 7:10. I asked how long it would take to get a calzone and the guy in the truck told me 7 minutes. I had an 8PM appointment so time was important to me tonight. At 7:35 I still did not have my order, a full 25 minutes after I ordered. During this time, my wife and daughter went through two separate lines together and finished eating. I told the guy in the truck that I needed my food quickly or I would need a refund. He had the girl in the truck calculate my refund which totaled $12.15. This was short of the $13.50 I was charged plus I had given a tip. He was very rude about the whole situation. He told me I should expect long lines at this event. I think he should think about his own advice and be more prepared if he is invited back to this event. The other trucks handled their lines much better, taking names and handing out the orders by name. This truck had no record of who ordered and was offering out food to those who had ordered much later than I. As I left, he told me I should go to a restaurant next time. I eat out for nearly all my meals and am quite familiar with customer service. This truck knows nothing about customer service and was ill prepared for the event.

This is a great pizza place! I had really high hopes because the reviews were so great and I was not disappointed. I came here on a Friday around six with my husband. We were seated immediately and promptly attended to by a waitress. It took us a really long time to decided what we wanted. Everything looked so tasty! The menu isn't huge, but there's a ton of different options. The pizza toppings are all so creative and different that it's hard to make a selection. The waitress seemed to think we were taking a long time, but she was still polite about it. We finally decided to get an order of six Parmesan wings as an appetizer and a Girl and Fig pizza (medium). The wings came out fairly quickly and they were tasty. I prefer wings with sauce, but these were still really good. The pizza took a long time to come out. We got a bit bored waiting, and I noticed that most people seemed to be copiously enjoying various wines and beers. They had a decent drink menu, and it looks like they have several really quality local craft beers. They also had good prices on pitchers and a decent amount of wines. Next time I'll be sure to partake to fully appreciate the experience. When the pizza came out it was hot and delicious. I adore gorgonzola cheese on pizza, and the Girl and Fig had a ton of it. I was also really pleased with the crust, and the dough had a great flavor. The medium was decently sized and we had enough left over for breakfast. The pizza was a bit pricey at $24 bucks, but completely worth it. The wings were supposed to be $6.95 for six, but they ended up being $.50 cents each, so that was nice. I don't know if that's a regular special or not. The ranch dressing we got with the wings ended up being $.75 cents. I didn't love that she didn't mention this, but I'm not sure the wings were supposed to be that cheap, so it's really a non-issue. The location itself is really convenient. It's located right on Orange Ave and close to the Sodo Plaza. It has its own parking lot, too. The interior is a bit lackluster, but it was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is open and it's cool to see everyone cooking. They also delivery, so that's nice. Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try the other types of pizza (and the beer!).

I went with a group of about 10-13 individuals. I volunteer for an organization and it was my first time meeting everybody involved in person. There were 4 pies ordered, half cheese and half pepperoni. To me, you can always tell the quality of a pizzeria's ingredients by the basics: a simple cheese pizza. I found it to be pretty delicious in comparison to other small pizzeria businesses that I've randomly selected in the past. I was really hoping to try the Gogh one, but I'll take free pizza any day. With that being said, I do want to go back and try that pizza based on the reviews of it on here.

Best pizza in Orlando. I have probably said that about one other place, but this is definitely the best. The pizza by the slice is even delicious--doesn't taste like hours old, heating lamp cardboard. Two favorite things I have discovered about eating here: 1. 50 cent wings on Wednesdays 2. Specialty pizzas offered for the by-the-slice lunch specials--they rotate flavors every day, so it is a great way to try new pizzas without committing to the whole pie. Check this place out!

Our favorite pizza place in all of downtown and the surrounding area to include Planet Pizza, Del-Dio, Tomasino's, Anthony's, Panino's, Metro Expresso, etc. They have the best crust, delicious, fresh, and interesting topping combinations and they deliver right to my house in under 20 minutes! We've also dined in and had a great experience there as well. Tried their pasta, salad, and cheesy bread and all delish as well!

This place is literally a 6 min (less than 1.5mi) drive from downtown, but when I called they said they couldn't deliver to me. So if you live within the delivery radius (which must be from their kitchen to the exterior parking lot) you can enjoy a freshly delivered meal.

Awesome local pizza place. If you want something much better than a chain, definitely go here. Lots of tasty options, with good ingredients. You won't be disappointed. Yes it's a little more pricey, but not crazy. The waitstaff was very helpful and kind. Don't expect a quick in and out though, good food takes time to make. We got the goat cheese bruschetta and veggie and feta pizza. Very happy with both.

Best margherita pizza I have had. Just the right amount of dough and the cheese has a great taste. The fresh tomato makes the margherita that much better. I got delivery so I was not able to experience the ambiance at the restaurant, but I cannot wait to visit again.

This place has always been good with creative pizzas. It's missing a star because I saw the waitress pick up the side bread that comes with lunch with her hands and put it on the plates. She needs to use the tongs.

Brick and Fire is my wing staple in Orlando - 50 cent Wing Wednesday is where it's at, and my wings are, week after week, delivered to my table still steaming hot. Can't beat that. I recommend the chipotle barbecue sauce. Let's talk about pizza. Good lord. Their pizza. You want to buy it by the slice? It's going to be bigger than your head, thin, and full of flavor. During lunch, they typically have 3 different styles out for quick service. The large crowd of nurses and doctors that come in from the hospital next door seem to appreciate this. I've now had the pleasure of trying most of their pizzas, and highly recommend them all. I haven't had a bad pizza here, yet. The staff are friendly, though during lunch service you are expected to get up and serve yourself drinks. I normally wouldn't have an issue with this, but witnessed a staff member explaining to a very elderly couple to serve themselves, then saw her texting on her phone by the bathroom. I'm okay getting my own coffee, but that was off-putting. Also, the bathrooms are consistently dirty, or out of soap. This is a fantastic place for a really delicious meal. Nothing waits under burners - everything is made to order, and is hot and steaming when it gets to your table. Go for dinner over lunch.

Weary from driving and dealing with the kids all day, we gave it a shot. First impression was that the place was unusually dark and kinda dirty. Service was fine. Food was good. My daughter loved her baked ziti. The pizza was better than average, but a tad undercooked. Husband's wings were large and smelled good. Would prefer baked over fried, but hey. Yeah, we are that picky. I'd definitely go back, though. It was better than what we're used to, so yay! And the Sox were on, beating the Yankees. Peroni on tap, as well. Reasonably priced.... Solid 3.5.

Close to Winnie Palmer, women and children's hospital (walking distance). After being in labor all night long and eating hospital food my boyfriend wanted to treat us to some non-hospital food. He wanted to pickup something near by to the hospital. So we decided on pizza. This place was a nice surprise! best pizza I've have in Orlando. I'd say number one place to go for pizza.

    (5)
  • Christian E.

The treatment team and I needed a pick me up and the topic of pizza came across the discussion. The first, and only, name that was mentioned was Brick and Fire. The ease of online ordering was superb. The delivery was prompt and EXACTLY on time, which is excellent considering how important our time is with regard to working professionals. In all honesty, I don't know what they do with the pizza itself because the experience was incredible. The crust was just right, cooked to order, and we just went with cheese and pepperoni pies. Tummies were filled and everyone felt satisfied. Refreshing was the word that was used. Brick and Fire will be on our radar for future job luncheons.

Since getting the wings and pizza we've been back a few times. The pizza has been consistently excellent, and I've tried a few of the salads. I cannot get over how outstanding they are. There is no cheap and crappy iceberg lettuce to be seen, they are a great mix of greens, the dressings are nice without drowning the rest of the salad and the toppings have been tasty and plentiful (got the chicken pesto salad and the traditional antipasto). The service continues to be excellent and for a giant salad, two slices of pizza and two drinks to be under $20, I still cannot get over the price.

I've heard so many great things about their pizza, so after months of driving by, we finally ordered a Margarita pizza and greek salad for delivery. $25 later and we were left with soggy pizza, generic cheese and a salad dressed in something citrusy instead of greek flavored. It wasn't inedible, it just didn't live up to our expectations or the price. At this rate I'd sadly order Domino's over Brick & Fire. I LOVE supporting local businesses, but unfortunately I don't think we will return here to satisfy our pizza craving.

Brick & Fire has one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I had the opportunity to try out the Van Gogh and it was simply amazing! Highly recommend if you visit. I also had the garlic Parmesan wings which were pretty decent, and of course, I couldn't leave with out trying the Nutella pizza. That one is a must for dessert! Food was great! A bit pricey, but it's worth it. Overall it was a nice experience. Service is not bad, but it could be a lot better and the building itself needs some renovation. From the outside, it's not too attractive, since it looks like an abandoned Pizza Hut. That's the only reason I rated them 4/5.

Best pizza in Orlando! Really! They also have really tasty salads and wings. But 95% of the time I just want pizza. They have great Bianca pizza, too! The pizzas are always topped generously with whatever you wish. Nice and cozy place to eat with friendly service. They also have a nice lunch special.

Very nice restaurant with some of the greatest freshly made pizza we ever had. We dined with our 2 kids and a kids menu and pens+paper make it a short while for our kids. My wife had a Caprese salad, which could need a bit more Mozzarella. Our 2 Kids had a kids pizza each and for us of course pizza. Highly recommended!

This pizza place use to be good. The service etc. The past couple months, I have been , it is horrible. Expect to wait at least an hour for your salad and an hour and a half for your pizza. With that, expect the wait staff to tell you how backed up the kitchen is, how far behind they are. Salad? Really? Don't you just throw it in a bowl? As well, you will not get your drinks refilled. you will, that will be self service. this is a great place if yo ulike horrible service, waitresses complaining, and you want to have a meal brough to you in about an hour. The funny part to all of this is that they are not even busy when all this happens..

Excellent pizza! I've been here twice and I am hooked. Their pizza dough is made daily with a hint of Orlando Brewing's red ale. One of the BEST pizza crusts I've ever tasted. They have a large selection of gourmet pizzas - ranging from the "normal" (i.e. lots of meats, all veggies) to the unique. My personal favorites: 1. Shrimp Scampi Pizza. AMAZING. Garlic Olive Oil, Whole Milk Mozzarella, Parmesan, Sautéed Shrimp Scampi and Basil. I thought it would be overly greasy, but it wasn't. The shrimp were tender and the seasoning was incredible. Totally delicious. 2. Four Mushroom Pesto Pizza. Garlic Olive Oil, Fontina Cheese, Button, Cremini, Portabella and Shitake Mushrooms with Fennel and Basil Pesto. 3. The Baby Argula Salad. Arugula, Raspberry Vinaigrette, Gorgonzola Cheese, Burgundy Poached Pears and Candied Pecans. SO GOOD. The dressing is to die for. The service is great. The prices are reasonable. My new place to go to satisfy my (frequent) pizza cravings.

I worked for a doctor who literally goes there everyday for lunch. The owner is a great guy and the food is high quality. If you are in the area for a doctors appointment or at the hospital, this is a great place to support instead of the chains down the road at SoDo. Highly recommend you check it out!

Hands down best gourmet pizza in Orlando. Interested in something other than the average pepperoni pizza? Get the Girl and Fig. It is incredible. Ladies, if you're still relying on Ben and Jerry's to smooth over a bad day... You need to upgrade! Figs, Gorgonzola, prosciutto... So so good.

my FAVORITE Orlando pizza. They use Orlando Brewing beer in the dough so you know it's going to be good! The classic is my favorite (the red peppers on it really do it for me). I'm also not a desert person, but my sister-in-law saw the Nutella pizza and almost passed out. We ordered it and now I have to get it every time. Holy cow. They have some local brews in bottles, and I've never had a poor experience whether I was dining in, carrying out or delivery. Love love love this place!

I first discovered this place when they were on Church street, and followed them to the Orange Ave location they are in now. They make nice Pizza's here. There are lots of specialty Pizza's, like the Van Gogh, but I tend to stick to the basics, and always want tomato sauce on my Pizza. They do a good job here.

Was in town visiting before running a half marathon and decided to give this place a try because of the glowing reviews! All of the menu sounded so good it was hard to order. Two friends and I split the Girl and Fig (large). HUGE pizza. It was fantastic! If you don't like salad on your pizza, you won't like this one, so it's a good thing I am a rabbit food fan. The balsamic glaze gave it a sweet taste that complimented the salty prosciutto. My favorite part about the pizza- the crust! It was as perfect as a pizza crust could get. They make it with a red ale, chewy but fluffy soft delciousness. I'd have been ok with a bunch of crust to snack on! We ordered a side of marinara, I thought it lacked something-spices maybe-tasted a little sweet? Probably good on a pizza with toppings to give it some pizzazz, passable as a dip for me though. Overall, quiet small place with good service and no wait on a Friday night gets a thumbs up from me. I'll definitely go back to try another pizza when I'm in town!

This is our go to pizza spot in sodo, love this place. Has great daily food and drink specials, and the food is great as well! Have tried several varieties of wings, pizza, salads, etc and everything has been great. The pineapple wings even had real pineapple on top which was a nice touch. Local owned and operated always nice people working.

Tried this place out on the suggestion of friends we were dining with. I had driven past this place numerous times but never had the curiousity to stop and give it a try. SO glad I did. The interior decor is nothing fancy and shows remnants of what used to be a Pizza Hut. But don't judge a book by its cover. The menu is pretty solid offering a nice selection of appetizers, salads, pastas and specialty pizzas. We ordered bruschetta which garnered compliments from all of us because of its bold flavors. Wings were 50cents a piece that night(Wed) so we ordered several in the various flavors like traditional BBQ and the thai chili which was a hit! My husband and I each ordered a personal pan pizza of our choosing. He went with 4 meat while I had the 4 mushroom pizza. Perfect little size and you can always take home leftovers. They use traditional and not so traditional toppings such as duck, Brie and beets!! But it all works! They are truly gourmet pizza chefs! :) Overall, we enjoyed dining here and our only regret was that we didn't save room for Nutella pizza! :)

LOVE this place, and wish I was closer. Baby arugula salad has candied pecans, blue cheese & strawberry vinagerette. Very tastey for something so healthy. Baked brie pasta is fave. A little on the pricey side, but, oh, so good! Service isn't great, but the food keeps bringing me back! Lots of delicious, unique options for one, or to share.

Savory pizza and smiling servers... I'm glad I found this place. The food is worthy of a 5 star restaurant. The atmosphere is a laid back neighborhood pizza place. The 'Girl and Fig' pizza is about the best tasting thing you will ever put in your mouth. The portions are generous...We share a pizza and pasta, and end up taking some home.....if we don't finish it in a too-good-to-stop feeding frenzy. This place is dangerous good... You've got to give it a try

Another place where I wish I could either give a half star or I could rate certain elements of dinner differently. The food would be a solid 4 stars. However, the service was lacking that night, and I would probably have given them a 2 or 3 star rating if I could. My husband and I walked in on a Friday night and were promptly seated by a very friendly hostess. We then looked over the menu and both decided to get our own entree sized pizza. We then sat around waiting for a server to notice us. We sat probably for about 10 minutes until she came over and took our order. I ordered the Van gogh pizza and my husband created his own with a bunch of different toppings. It didn't take too long for our food to come out. Both pizzas looked amazing! I highly suggest the Van gogh for vegetarian eaters. It had sauteed mushrooms, smoked Gouda cheese, onions, basil, and truffle oil. My only minor complaint was it had way too much butter on it. I could tip the pizza over and the butter came sliding off. I also felt the prices here were great. For a specialty pizza it was only $9.00. I even had leftovers. Throughout the rest of dinner the service kept getting worse. We waited a very long time for drink refills. We sat around for another 10 minutes or so waiting for a bill. Then it took her forever to bring us back our credit card. I heard the server tell a couple next to us that it was very slow for a Friday night. If the service was this slow on a slow Friday night, I would hate to see what it is like on a busy night!

The nutella pizza is heaven. Most of the food here is delicious. I recommend going for dinner rather than lunch though. My boyfriend and I went for lunch the other day and I want as impressed as I normally am. My Alfredo sauce was watery and the cheese on the pizza was rubbery. I recommend the four cheese pizza! It's delicious. Wednesdays are 50cent wings all day. Get a cannoli for dessert! The service here is hit or miss. Some nights its great, others not so much.

I met a friend here once for a quick lunch, and I have to say I was impressed. The lunch special was very well priced, and it included pizza and pasta. The selections were really good, as it had different kinds of pizza and not just the usual most places have. I can't wait to go back!

Great pizza..just OK wings. We decided to come here for a pre-Magic game dinner. Brick & Fire is located less than 10 minute drive from the Amway center. We got there around 5:30 PM, and it was kind of quiet, but it was a Wednesday night. We were promptly seated and immediately taken care of. Our waitress was the bomb! I think her name was Lee... Being that the entire family is very picky when it comes to pizza, we decided to all get personal pizzas. We tried the veggie and goat cheese, BBQ chicken, Alfredo, and peperoni. They all rocked! I love the crispy thin crust and abundant ingredients (had to eat it with a fork) We also opted to try the wings since it was 50 cent wing night. All in all they were just OK. We got the herbed Parmesan, and the chipotle pineapple. This is definitely a must come to place. Great choice for a family before the Magic game.

WOW, THIS PIZZA is FAB! I have to add in the expected: I have been in Orlando how long and never tried this place out? I have been missing out for sure. This past Saturday they celebrated their 4 year anniversary and I know there will be many more to come. I dined in recently and while the service wasn't the best in town, the food... was amazing. I have this new obsession with wings so I went with the Herbed Parmesan Cheese - and they were finger licking good. They were huge, plump and juicy. I can't stop thinking about them and craving them. So perfect. For a pizza, there are so many awesome decisions and options to feast on. I knocked it down to one of their specialty pizzas: van Gogh - van Gogh Smoked Danish Gouda, Butter Sautéed Mushrooms, Onions and Herbs, Drizzled with Truffle Oil. It was perfection. Cooked amazing. Filled to the top and overflowing of toppings. The crust was phenom. It was easily one of the most memorable pizzas I have ever had, especially in Orlando. We sat right next to the kitchen and the chef's really looked like they were having a great time and everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing. I really can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

These guys are consistently cooking the best pizza out there. The chicken on my chicken and cheese pizza is fresh chicken, not that rubber chicken other places try to pass off. Pretty quick delivery as well. Definitely would recommend as a must try location. Keep doing what you're doing!

I was excited to order delivery while in town since I was stranded at a hotel. I called 11 times in 30 min and got hung up on once and got no answers the rest of the time. The pizza may be good; I'm not sure, but I will not patronize a restaurant that won't pick up the phone. Consumers beware...

I absolutely love this place. When I'm up for something a better than Paisanos pizza then its off to B&F.They have thee best BBQ chicken pizza. The wings are pretty yummy, though Ive only had the chipolte. The Baby arugula salad is also a must have. Pasta dishes are good except I'm not really a big pasta fan when dining out. My GF loves the Brie and Creme penne or something like that. Its in an old pizza hut so its kind of weird when you walk in and realize, "Hey, I've been to a place like this before...." Great food, great service, and the price is appropriate for the product served.

I was excited to see Brick & Fire opened within this former Red Brick Pizza location! This location is "Express" which means you won't see the same menu as the other Brick and Fire locations. But, they do have something the others do not - calzones. Although I have not yet tried the calzones, they do look great. The menus are very similar. This location offers 3 sizes of pizza - 8", 12" and 16". The pizza's are delicious. On this visit (which was their "soft opening" day), I enjoyed Antipasto and Parmesan Flatbread as an appetizer (both delicious), Garlic Shrimp Pizza, Steak & Cheese Pizza, and Veg & Feta Pizza (all delicious). For desert, we had a Nutella pizza, which was a great way to end the meal. Service was friendly and quick. The location is excellent - and a great place to "eat-in"! They have flat screen TV's at all the tables along the wall, and each TV comes with a remore and cable TV. Great way to enjoy the game, or your favorite show, or even the news while enjoying dinner. I'll definitely be back!

Outstanding bruschetta appetizer made with goat cheese, roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, balsamic drizzle... Pizza is wonderful. They are super nice about customizing. I had their Hawaiian with mushrooms instead of chicken. It also had cashews, pineapple, cilantro... Really good! Nutella dessert pizza has candied walnuts, and it's delicious. Staff is just super. What a great place!

Lunch special was a deal, we had the #5 special that included 2 fountain drinks, 2 salads, 10 wings, and a 16" cheese pizza for $24.95. The salads were the best part of the meal in my opinion, large serving, crisp greens and dressed well. The pizza and the wings are not to my standards, although I can say they are not shy with cheese on the pizza. The service and the dining experience was good.

Have read the reviews and I can say I've never had bad service, guess I'm just lucky. My girl isn't a fan of the usual pizza places (dominos, pizza hut, etc). We're big fans of Anthony's coal fired pizza in Miami and this place isn't as good as Anthony's but it's very, very close. Pizza choices are unique and original. You won't be disappointed

3.5 stars for Brick & Fire Continuing our search for the perfect pizza, we tried Brick & Fire last night. From the website, I think I was expecting something a little fancier. All of the "About Us" and "About the Chef" text really makes it feel like a pretentious sort of place. Perhaps our experience at Absinthe previously may have added to that sense. To my surprise, Brick & Fire was not pretentious at all. It looked and felt like an old pizzeria that had been given a fresh coat of paint in an attempt to make it feel like more of an Italian restaurant. The kitchen is open like most pizzerias, and there is a drink fountain along the wall next to the bathrooms, and there are children's coloring pages hanging on the wall - but the decor and lighting feel like they're trying to make it a little more romantic. We joined another couple who ordered a bruschetta appetizer while we ordered the tomato caprese salad. They loved the bruschetta which was piled high. Our caprese was tasty, though we were a little surprised at the tiny balls of mozzarella. They were fresh and delicious, but hardly enough to get a bit with each tomato slice. For our entrees, we ordered a greek pizza, a four meat pizza and a white pizza. It was thin, light and garlicy - without too much grease. We all took home leftovers. Each personal pizza is enough for two reasonably sized meals. Personally, I'm not a big fan of how they offer and serve pizzas. It's like California Pizza Kitchen - you can't just get a slice or two. You have to order an entire personal pizza (which is more than a meal), or a large pizza. Sure, you can bring home leftovers, but sometimes you don't want to. Prices were cheaper than CPK, and the quality better, but I still felt like the dinner was a little overpriced. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Drinks were constantly being refilled, and without being asked, he brought a water to our friend who had declined another beer. Despite being almost closing time, no one seemed put off by new guests arriving. But really, what sort of pizza place closes at 8pm on Sunday? We'll come back if we're in the area and craving pizza, but I have no desire to go running back.

A reliable choice in the Delaney Park neighborhood for a very good meal at a good price, whether one of their excellent pizzas, a bowl of yummy pasta or a giant fresh salad. The decor and service are no-frills (it looks like it is a former Pizza Hut), but it's clean and functional. I've been going since they opened - over time their food has steadily improved and they've refined their menu.

Holy flaming balls of.... Try the 4 mushroom pizza here (I added Roma tomatoes)..my god it is good! We got a 16" that fed us well, the waitress was pleasant and on the spot with drinks, nice place too. If I could get this type of pizza every day, a very happy man I would be. It is a clean place, other than the pizza I cannot think of what would be a 5 star.

Seriously some of the best pizza I've ever had. The dough/crust is just amazing... perfectly chewy, yet light... could it be the local beer they use as an ingredient? Toppings are always fresh and nice quality, and the various pies on the menu are invariably delicious and creative (love the Girl and Fig topped with prosciutto)! For a vegetarian option, I like the Goat Cheese pizza. The only thing missing from the menu has to be garlic knots!

Woke up this morning: pizza or sushi? pizza or sushi? I kept going back and forth; finally realizing I'm trying to stay on a budget, pizza won out. I checked out Brick and Fire in the ORMC area, having been there once before but with little recall of the place. The first thing I noticed was that the wines by glass ranged from $2.25 to $4.75 -- holy cwap -- did I time-warp back to 1998? Granted, the wines aren't likely featured in Wine Enthusiast, but at that price, so what? I started with an appetizer of bruschetta with goat cheese, pesto, artichokes and balsamic syrup -- oh my! Then I had to choose my entree. Well, I'm a duck-sucker. (Rephrase, TB) I'm a sucker for duck -- if it's on the menu, I'll find it. Well, the "foodie" pizza consisted of, get this: "Smoked Duck Breast with Gorgonzola, Cabernet Poached Pears, Arugula and Balsamic Syrup." WOW! The real star of the pizza was the mountain of arugula. And on the 8th day, God created arugula. In the Mediterranean, arugula is considered an aphrodisiac -- I don't know about that, but it sure made my taste buds stand at attention. It looks as though they've done away with the serve-yourself soda, at least on the Saturday lunch when I visited. As Martha Stewart would say, "it's a good thing." Yeah, this experience was a good thing.

Our server was attentive and efficient, and the gourmet pizzas were so flavorful! I had the Van Gogh, and the Edam was a little odd at first, but it grows on you. The Margherita was perfectly made. We will go back, and we will be more adventurous.

Yummy......We ordered a medium cheese, large mushroom, and the bruschetta. Everything tasted great and it looked great too! The toppings were spot-on!!!! It's the bruschetta that takes the cake though!!!! OMG!!!! What a treat that was. Crispy, beautiful tasting bread topped with cheese, some type of lovely greens and a balsamic vinaigrette reduction. WOW,.... I even watched as the last little tidbits that couldn't hang on to the brushcetta were scooped up and finished off lovingly. This review is only for take out ;-)

Kudos to the chef here for making these flavors work on a pizza. I had the duck pizza which was made with gorgonzola, duck, wine poached pear pieces, arugula, and a balsamic reduction. I thought it was a pretty brave move to mix these together served atop a doughy crust but these flavors melded very well making for one tasty pie. For the size it's worth the price. I couldn't even finish. I like what they're trying to do here and can appreciate their creativity. They're obviously putting a lot of thought behind their work and I like that. Bravo :) I was surprised to see Blue Moon listed as an import since it's brewed in Colorado, but what can ya do? Overall it was a good dining experience. I'd definitely go back if I were in the area.

OK 2 stars because of service at lunch! Food outstanding as always but the male blonde lunch server think his name is Anthony, sucks. Stood up front at 250 & waited till 300 to be seated, then waited another 5 minutes for this guy to come over to table! took order, then wen food arrived the pizza was burnt & had to wait to say something cuz this guy never came back to check on us until my friend was 3/4 done with his pasta. when we said something his response was "You just gotta tell me" took the pizza & walked away. very very disappointed!!

Brick and Fire is a cute little place located right off of Orange Ave. We went there with another couple on Valentine's Day, before subjecting ourselves to the atrociously horrid movie "Valentine's Day." The Margherita Pizza I ordered was pretty good. I loved the Baby Arugula Salad, even though they were out of arugula. I did not leave the place loving the pizza, however I had a chance to try the pizza again at a birthday party and loved it. I would recommend checking it our for yourself. Mellow Mushroom may have some competition now.

My fiancé and I have eaten here several times. It generally has really good pizza and appetizers. We tried the Van Gogh pizza a couple days ago (we both love mushrooms) and it was so terrible that we will never go back to Brick and Fire. We each ate a slice and brought it home to try again for lunch the next day. When we tried it again we couldn't even get through a few bites before we threw it away. We'll be eating at Anthony's in Thornton park in the future when we want pizza.

We've been here at the new location about 5 or 6 times now. I had seen the old place on Church street, but didn't seem worth the hassle trying to stop in. Now, it's easy in, easy out. It's right across the way from the hospitals downtown, in an old Pizza Hut and old Moe's. I really like this place. The staff is top notch, and the food is good and reasonably priced, bordering on a bargain. I've had salads, pizza and pasta here. All, were excellent. The small caesar salad is very large, and could almost be an entree. The great thing about the salad, is the right amount of dressing. The pastas are good too. The only issue I had was the sauce is a bit rich, not overwhelmingly so. My favorite is the pizza though. You can tell they are using fresh ingredients, including fresh cheese. The crust has some sort of garlic butter on it and is just the right size. It's a handle for the rest of the pie. My wife really likes their Hawaiian pizza. I've liked everything I've tried. The one pizza I won't order again anytime soon is the 4 meat pizza. It is so full of toppings, I feel bad for my arteries. It tastes very good, but is full of meat. The toppings are generous and flavorful. The restaurant also participates in the Buy Local Orlando program and when you bring your card, you get free soda or $1 wine (I think). I would much rather support a local place when I can. As another reviewer pointed out, it's self service drinks at lunch time. Although, it's hardly rare, it does seem odd to do this some of the time and not the rest. I'll certainly be back! This place is tops in our pizza rotation.

What a pleasant surprise. The family and I are in town visiting the theme parks and were craving pizza. We Yelped this joint and decided to try it. It looks like an old Pizza Hut, no matter, it was pretty darn good. We started with bruschetta and side salads. My god, the regular salad must be used to feed elephants. We all had different salads and they were all pretty good. We each ordered build your own 8" pizzas. Again pretty darn tasty. The wait staff wasn't the most pleasant but attentive and got the job done. Highly recommended pizza joint.

This is a pretty unassuming place, but if you want ridiculously tasty pizza and Italian food, you could do a heckuva lot worse. I've never been to the old variant of this place on Church street, but I certainly don't regret picking up on it here on Orange. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly, and it looked great but tasted better. Prices are reasonable - around $10-15 a plate or for a small pizza. This isn't high-class, fine dining, but I doubt any of you were expecting it from a pizza place on Orange Avenue. If you're in the mood for tasty Italian food and you're in the area, you really can't go wrong with this place. It's comfortable and laid-back. Just put some pants on, ya savages.

This is a great little pizza joint outside the hustle of downtown Orlando. The pizza is phenomenal. They offer a lot of good lunch specials and are able to get you in and out. They also have good alternatives for those dieting. May I recommend the Chicken Pesto Salad. Another favorite would be the meatballs with a side salad. I did recently have dinner there and tried the Bottleneck Clams with a beer and might I add it was pretty, pretty good. I do mean the clams. If you ever find yourself on Orange Ave and Miller, check them out!

My fellow yelper friend Bryan A turned me on to this place. Hadn't been there before till I went with him and his wife and boy is this place on point. Some of the best pizza in town and not crazy expensive. Custom build your pizza from tons of toppings equals delicious. Crust is pretty good not too thick not too thin. Plus with a whole bunch of other stuff on the menu you can't go wrong. I believe they just opened a new location by my house so I'm sure I'll be checking this out there.

Pretty good pizza. I ordered the barbecue chicken pizza and thought it was different (more of a tex-mex barbecue chicken pizza then what i'm used to at other places like CPK) I got a house salad which I was happy with. It had pepperoncinis on it and I do love those. The house dressing was decent too. We saw that they had a cannoli pizza for dessert and obviously had to try it. The cannoli cream was delicious but the crust it was served on was a cinnamon sugar rather than the usual cannoli crunchiness. I still liked it but wished it was crunchier.

Brick and Fire is my go to pizza delivery place. Sure it is a bit more expensive than the chains, but the pizza is totally worth it. I have eaten in and out. Try the salads and bruschetta, both are great.

Brick and Fire is now my usual pizza spot. I had been a big fan of the Thornton Park pizza place but I think Brick and Fire is just as good but adds the gourmet touch to their food. What makes this place stand out is really their prices. Nothing here is terribly expensive. Even the drinks are moderately priced. This place features house wines and buckets of beer. What's neat is that they also feature the local Orlando Brewing Company's beer and a few different flavors of it. As far as appetizers go, I've had the bruschetta which is quite tasty. It's Italian bread with goat cheese, red onion, artichoke, and roasted red pepper with a balsamic glaze on top. Sooo good! Salads are always a hit. The regular side salad is quite large and comes plentiful with toppings. Asking for extra peppers or tomatoes is usually never a big deal. I've also tried the Baby Arugula salad which is awesome as well. I usually stick with pizza when I come here. I've tried various of the specialty pizzas. I'm at the point where I create my own and it's awesome. I don't like a lot of cheese on pizza so if I don't make a request it usually comes out with a ton on it. Some people love that, I'm not too much of a fan. I usually ask for almost no cheese and it comes out perfectly to my liking. They always brush the crust with a little bit of Olive Oil for taste. The crust is definitely almost the best part. The service is usually on point. Have never had any issues except for one time I ordered a 10" pizza and they gave me a 16" by accident. They just gave it to me for the 10" price...I wasn't complaining! Ha!

I read the reviews and was not disappointed. The first word that comes to mind is FRESH ingredients! It was piping hot when I picked it up and it exceeded my expectations. It was loaded with tasty toppings and plenty of cheese which I usually find lacking in specialty pizzas. I usually like a thin crust but this crust had some substance to it without being a mouthful of bread. The size of the goat cheese and artichoke bruschetta was a delightful surprise to me and even though it was messy to eat I loved the taste combo. Maybe a little pricier than I would like but they are on groupon every other day.

Great food! Stopped in for lunch and had a combo with the margharita pizza. It was amazing! Unfortunately I only gave it 4 stars because the interior needs work. Also needs bathrooms that can fit more than one patron.

The pizza was very good, and their lunch combo was a good deal. Was in the neighborhood, and it was a pleasant surprise.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
