Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Tastes like typical fast food pizza. Yes it looks amazing but it doesn't taste amazing. Nice people / clean restaurant. I hope they can tweak the recipe and get it tasting as good as it looks!

OK - I would go to Tony's just for the crust. Chewy and crisp on the outside - not too thick! Had a Margherita Pizza - just the right blend of cheese/sauce/basil. Will be back to try other menu items. Wait staff was pleasant and helpful.

We just moved to the area and decided to check this place out with our two kids. When we walked in we were impressed with the decor, much nicer than we expected for a pizza place in a plaza. We sat ourselves and waited quite awhile to be greeted, even though there were only two other tables in the place. When the server came she was kinda rude, explained that they didn't have most of the menu and when we did order got our order completely incorrect. BUT I don't always judge a restaurant based on the service, however the food was just okay... The garlic knots were good once you scrapped off some of the absurd amounts of chunky fresh garlic (too spicy for the little ones) and the pizza had an absurd amount of cheese as well. (Don't get me wrong, we love cheese, but this was way way way too much). Over all we left as a family of four spending $40+ tip. I just think that $50 for two adults and two children under the age 4 was too much for subpar food and poor service. We won't be back, which is a shame since it's so close by.

Tony's used to be great. It was the only place our family would go for a good New York style pizza. But the past few months they have really fell off. The pizza isn't the same . They barely put toppings. We found a great new Tony's in deland.

I was in a rush and had a desire for pizza so I looked up this restaurant and called in my order with plenty of advance notice so I did not have to wait. The lady said it will only take a few minutes and I said perfect. When I got there they had not even put my order in yet so I end up waiting about five minutes which I did not have. The pizza was average to below average for me, an original New Yorker. Dough was too thick, sauce was way too salty and too much cheese. Will not be back again.

Like one of the other reviewers, I am at a loss for words. As I was eating it, I could not BELIEVE how good my pizza was. Just out-of-this-world terrific! For the record, I ordered a Marinara with toppings: peppers (they came sliced super-thin!), onions and mushrooms. The veggies were SO FRESH! And the crust -- to die for!

My friend and I stopped here for lunch. It was very quite and the lights were low. We were the only ones there for our entire lunch experience. I liked the calm atmosphere; it was very relaxing. Service: we were immediately greeted from across the room by what I am assuming was the owner. Our server was a young man (Probably the owner's son). He was a bit awkward and unsure of himself but he did his best to make jokes and be pleasant. I liked him. Food: we each ordered 3 slices and a drink (we were very hungry). The slices were a decent size and filled me up after eating 2.5. The pizza had a nice crunch to it. My only complaint (and I know this will sound strange) is that there was too much cheese. They definitely don't mind putting cheese on the pizza but in this case it was too much. Also, the cheese was a lower quality cheese. Price: inexpensive! $2 per slice is a steal. For 6 slices and 2 drinks we only paid $17 Overall: the pizza was good, atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was great. Tony's gets my recommendation.

We got our appetizers 15 minutes after we got our pizza slices: no customer service whatsoever, server was more concerned with tending to to-go customers than the restaurant guests. Did not ask how any of the meal was at any point in time. Did not ask if we needed anything. Bruschetta was made with soggy tomatoes. Will not be coming back to this place!

Very good pizza and fried ravioli, quick service and friendly. The cannoli is very good and the pizza is very well made... I go to the gym next door and its a pain in the butt when I go to avoid this place with all the good aroma in the air

NY pizza...check NY attitude...bigger CHECK Food is great, waitress service is fair, nothing special, but the counter/to go service comes with a side of 'tude. I get that you're busy which can be stressful, however don't pass it onto a paying customer!

I could write a long review because the food and service at this place are excellent, but I'm actually at a loss for words because there is nothing to describe what your taste buds do when eating Tony's pizza. It's make your eyes roll to the back of your head good. Try it, you'll see...

Best pizza in town! Calzone & fried ravioli are delicious too!
(5)Dana S.
Good food and great service. The pizza was good and the fried raviolis were delicious. The baked ziti was slightly above average. The service was beyond excellent. Our waitress was so nice and even went so far as to offer us to go cups when we left. The menu is also very large so I'm sure there is something for everyone.

Good Pies at a reasonable price.

Tony's is a surprisingly good slice of pie so far from a large city. I usually have trouble finding a pizza place that I like, but this has been a staple since I moved to the area. Only problem with these guys is that they are closed on Monday... I can't blame them though, 3 day weekends are better.

The pizza is pretty good. Not too much sauce. It was greasy but not soggy. It was maybe a little on the salty side. I give them bonus points because I asked them to spell out 'I HEART U' with the pepperoni and they actually did it.

Once again, typical Fl these days, no mention of Tony himself, or anyone else who works there'. Amazing the egocentric behavior of most of Central Florida these days. Not even a description of Tony. Its called Egocentric and its sad but most of Central Fl is this way now. Albeit, Not Tony in the least! I am a loyal fan from Way back- he knows me as a great customer. and my thought toward him Prior to Yelp. Assuredly. even before my yelpin' days- and if only by sight. He knows me. Did any of you even saying anything descriptive about the place- not really. Like I tried... more then a pizza, He makes Great Stromboli- authentic enough to come from Stromboli itself. Poor me, all e I have done is stayed- not just visited. Naples. And A hint, I am not talking Florida folks, that would be too egocentric for me. Tony you are so worth- my 5 Star Rating! on many dishes. MY 5 stars are based on, worthiness of that palace in that, particular area.. I am guessing, That everyone, knows there is much open debate about Stromboli in the US States as to its origin. Its Newer Folks. And does NOT originate from lil' Italy - although it is very good in NY.

Great pizza, never been disappointed yet. My only complaint is the the prices are high.
(4)Adam G.
Outside of NY, this guy's pizza is the real deal. I asked why it was so good, once. He said he imports the water from NY! It IS the water! Definitely a gem!

Nice place, been going here for years. Good food and value. Tony is a class act!

Not what it used to be. This USED TO BE my favorite pizza place in town;the pizza USED TO BE excellent. The last few times I got it, I was very disappointed...frozen pizza taste better! The pizza is different every time you get it anymore (not in a good way)and it taste like crap. The LAST time me and my son went there, the pizza didn't even look good never mind taste good. It looked and tasted like it was left over from the day before...way too much sauce, little cheese, and very dry. My son didn't even like it and pizza is his favorite food! This is the first pizza that he's actually not liked! That's how I know it was bad! Will not be coming back.

Easiest review ever...the pizza is the best I've had since I left New York.

My husband and I moved down from Chicago a few months ago. My husband is 100% Italian and loves to cook. The price was reasonable, but our dinners and service were just OK. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs; he ordered a caprese sandwich. Perhaps we should have had the pizza. Not sure I would go back.
