I came here for dinner with my friend. For less than $15 dollars for 2, you can eat like a king. They had medium shrimp boiled and still in the shell with a few choices for cocktail sauce. There was cold mussels. There was a spicy shrimp with the the head still intact. I've never had shrimp heads before. It seemed kind of mushy. There was roasted whole chicken wings which had very crispy skin. There was wide selection of raw vegetables in the salad bar including a few different kinds of lettuces. There was lots of cooked greens available but I didn't take any because I thought they would have been cooked with pork as is the style in the South and I rarely eat pork. The green beans looked like they came from a can. There was hot fluffy mashed potatoes which were very good and roast beef which was good too. There was also ham available too.

The place was dirty so I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Decent selection of food, but it was bad. I would never go here again. We left after about 30 minutes and went to the McDonalds next door.

I tried Stacy's last night for the first time in many months. I believe they have new owners now which, in my opinion, has cost the restaurant dearly. I should have known when they have a sign at the register saying "No food refunds if paying with cash" that I should just turn around and go down the street to another buffet. Granted at $6.95 I'm not expecting gourmet cuisine but the food was frightening. My son actually took a bread stick and knocked it on the side of the table. It sounded like he hit it with a hammer. The meats were all horribly salty and the selections were meager at best. Fried chicken (no doubt frozen out of a box), taco meat, sausage, roast beef and pulled pork were the meat selections. The only edible one was pulled pork and it was horribly greasy. Not a single person asked how are meal was. I have no doubt this was intentional since they have probably been given an earful by earlier customers. If the food quality stays at this level I fear that Stacy's is not long for the buffet business.

Hot damn! The food is good, from the salad to the chicken and dumplings. They could change the decor of the place but I guess its suppose to have the homey feel. I always come down for Stacy's and I've been going here since I was young.

worse place i have been to eat and thats saying alot We walked in and were given the toal, paid at front desk, then i stood there and the guy asked "can i help you?" I was taken aback but said "yes we just paid.....?" He said 'sit anywhere' That was it, didnt tell us where to get anything, not even the high chair we asked for-thought ok maybe food is ok, and yes i wasnt expecting much for a buffet of course. Awful. Cold. Tasted watered down, bland, old. Only thing decent was the pie, which was definately frozen and from a box, but that was a good thing. They had no shredded cheese for the taco stuff, sour cream, soft shells, anything youd expect. I have ate the bagged taco crap and am ok with it, but this version I had to spit out. They had hot dogs on a roller, and buns wrapped in shrink wrap so i said ok i will just eat that as cant go wrong right....bread was hard and i mean spots touching pan felt like rock. The peaches were rancid which my husband mentioned to the lady who clears dishes. Hadnt been moved when we left. Oh and my child and hubby had ice cream and that was ok. So anything cooked was a no . This is crossed off our list for sure, and i cant understand why they are still open. Everyone else there was over 60 easily, which didnt bother me as was lunchtime, and figured locals. We just moved to area and eat out a few times a week so have been exploring places. Became apparent if have working taste buds you wont make a 2nd trip. Decor was old and outdated, but most importantly disgusting covered in dust and grime. Owner should be ashamed of themselves, disgraceful.

This has been a hometown favorite of mine since I was a kid. So my review might be a little bias but I'll try to keep it as real as possible. Recently, my fiancé and I hosted a small engagement party here with about twenty guests. Our waitress was phenomenal. She helped me get the tables set up, stayed very attentive to piling plates, took pictures for us, and took some time to congratulate us. The Food here is mostly southern home-style cooking. They have a little something for everyone. I'm a huge fan of their salad bar and fried chicken. They also have a carving station that serves Ham, Turkey, or roast beef depending on when you come in. An added note, the drinks are included in your meal and they are self-serve so you can get refills. THE BAD: One of my guests had requested some shredded cheese for his salad and the staff that he asked told him they don't serve shredded cheese. They gave him a bowl full of shredded cheese from the kitchen but I was shocked to see that they didn't have it on the bar anymore. Who serves tacos and a salad bar with NO shredded cheese?

We used to be steady customers, but since the new management has taken over the quality of the food has gone downhill into unsanitary conditions. I got meatloaf that was raw in the middle, and when I pointed this out, the man at the front desk just shrugged at me and told me to get something else. The next visit my daughter found part of a metal scrubber in her food. We won't visit again.
